He urges listeners to publicly praise God for this spiritual cleansing and warns against holding onto the old self after salvation.

If I ask any of you, who is God? One of y'all will say, our God is a consuming fire. So what God does, he baptizes you not only Holy Ghost, but then you get baptized in the Father. And now all of that stuff in us that's not like God, all of that negative stuff, that trauma, that pain, that hurt, those sinful habits and sinful ways, he baptizes you. God gets fire until you walk like him, talk like him. He burns up poverty mentality. He burns up stinking thinking. He burns up negativity. He burns up rape. He burns up molestation. He— oh God, he burns up every failure of your past. He consumes it so you are like him. I wish I had 10 people to give God praise himself from the consuming fire. Open your mouth and shout about it if he burned up some stuff. Oh God, thank you for the fire. Thank you for the fire. I got somebody right there to say thank you for fire. Thank you for burning it up. Hallelujah. God didn't save you for you still to hold on to what you were. He saved you so you can be a new creature, so He can do a new thing. Thank God for fire.
