And matter of fact, you're always welcome at this table because all we're gonna serve right here is the word of the Lord. And I'm so glad that you're here, and I do have something to share with you today. You know, I've been teaching this series on Anointed for the Now, man. And this is part 9, and I believe we're gonna get finished today. I hope we get finished because I got something else the Lord has been dealing with me about, and I want to share it with you, but we got to get out of this. Glory to God. So we're going to jump right into it today. Thank you guys for being here. If you're just joining us, I want you to go ahead and share this. You know, be a blessing. We're going to pray and we're going to get right in his word, man, and I'm going to give you your time back. Can we do that? Father, in Jesus' name, I thank you today for the opportunity to teach your word. I pray, God, that your anointing would flow, God, like wind, and that the oil of the Holy Spirit would flow through this live, God, and that every ear that lends its ear to this live today, I decree and declare that they will experience liberty, that yokes will be destroyed and burdens will be removed. Hallelujah! And I thank you for that now in the mighty name of Jesus. God, let us experience the light, the illumination, and the intelligence of the Holy Spirit. And Father, we'll give you praise and we'll give your name all the glory in Jesus' name. Amen. And thank God. Hallelujah. Oh God, I'm so glad he's here. I feel him. Glory to God. People can sit in front of a television show and binge watch it for hours. I want to challenge you to sit here for 25, 30 minutes and get this word because it's going to be life-changing for you. Okay, so let's go to the Bible. We're continuing our series on Anointed for the Now. There are 8 other messages prior to this one that are on my timeline on Facebook. Wherever you want to watch it, go back and watch the replay so you can get all of this. We're bringing this to a close today, and God, I've been waiting to get to this point. Matter of fact, I have not read this scripture the entire series. And this really is the foundation of the entire teaching. All right, so let's go to Isaiah chapter number 10. We're gonna read one verse, and we're gonna get into this today. Again, this is part 9 of the message entitled Anointed for the Now. Let's look at this. Isaiah, the prophet Isaiah, chapter number 10, and we're going to look at verse number 27. Hallelujah. Glory be to the Lord God Almighty. Praise God. Watch this. The Bible says on that day, his burden will fall from your shoulders and his yoke from your neck. Oh my God. The yoke will be destroyed because your neck. Oh my God. This is so powerful in this translation. Will be too large. Hear me now. With the anointing. Your neck will be too large with the anointing, which means now your neck, glory to God, is the substratum of the foundation of your head, where your eyes, your nose, your mouth, your ears, hallelujah, your sensibility, where you can see and smell and hear and taste, your brain where you can think, your mind, glory to God. The neck is the foundation of this. And if the neck is constrained, if you strangle the neck with a yoke, glory to God, and suffocate yourself, it cuts off life in the head. So here's what I want you to get today, just right off the rip. And let's read it in the King James. The King James is on the screen. Praise God. It says, and it shall come to pass. Hear this. In that day that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder and his yoke off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing. I need you to touch yourself and say, I am anointed for the now. And I want to agree with you on that. You are anointed for the now. How dare you scream it in your house, in your car. Just scream it as loud as you can. I am anointed for the now. Glory to God. Listen, I don't care what's happening in your life, in society. We've been saying it redundantly. You're anointed to deal with it right now. Glory to God. The scripture said here, and this is a powerful word, man. This is actually God prophetically talking to Assyria and their reaction to his people, the children of Israel, and letting them know, hey, the yoke of bondage that you have on my people's neck you Assyrians. That yoke is gonna be destroyed, and the burden that they're carrying for you, hallelujah, is gonna be removed because of the anointing. In other words, it won't be anything they do. It will be my meshach, my anointing, the fact that I have rubbed upon them and rubbed inside of them until they are interpenetrated with my authority. My essence, my character, my abilities. And I'm talking about being anointed for real. And God said— is saying right here that when the anointing really shows up, things that need to be destroyed are actually destroyed. See, we need to stop really saying we're anointed. Glory to God. For real, man. If we're not seeing destruction of yokes. Now, you go to a service, and if you feel good and power of God seemingly is moving, but you leave that service and you didn't encounter the anointing, and the way you know you didn't encounter it is because the yoke you came in with, you leave with it. But when you really encounter the anointing, yokes are destroyed. Yokes of bondage, yokes of poverty, yokes of sickness and disease. It destroys the yoke. I said last week, guys, that when the anointing shows up on believers in this last— I'm telling you, in this last day, we're going to see so many miraculous things, so many things that are Revival like we've never seen it before because the anointing is going to show up and instantly yokes are going to be destroyed. Some of you'll be walking through Walmart and somebody have a broke leg, but because you came in, their bones will mend. Glory to God. And they won't even need the cast anymore because the anointing that's on you. You don't walk by somebody that has cancer who's going to chemotherapy next week, but the anointing is— oh my God, I feel it right now. Matter of fact, while I'm preaching, if you know somebody with cancer, I dare you lift up your hands right now. Whether it's pancreatic, whether it's breast cancer, glory to God. If you know somebody that had cancer but they went through chemo and they're recovering, listen, I want to tell you right— I feel the anointing. I dare you lift up your hands for that cancer patient. If you're watching me and you have cancer, I decree right now by the anointing Oh, glory to God! You are being healed and the yoke of infirmity is being destroyed. I decree and declare now that your sickness is being healed, that diabetes is being destroyed because of the anointing. You know, you should be able to go to corporate worship or experience the Word of God taught like we're doing now. The anointing is coming through this camera into your house. Lay your hands on yourself and say, I receive the anointing. And with his stripes, the yoke is destroyed. Oh, glory to God, glory to God. Blood pressure, be destroyed. Hypertension, yeah, you, you spirit of hypertension that's on so many, be destroyed. I command the kidneys to work properly in the name of Jesus. Oh, glory! He said because of the anointing, the yoke is destroyed. So watch this. A person who calls himself anointed can blow on me and I fall on the floor and I roll to the back of the church under the power. But if I get up off the floor and the yoke has not been destroyed, I want to challenge you with something here. Maybe there was no anointing really there, because, because of the anointing, we just read it, yokes are destroyed, burdens are removed. I didn't even plan games with this. The Word of God is real. This is in the Bible. I've seen this happen too many times. I've seen the anointing flow out of my life into others and burdens be removed and yokes be destroyed. Come on now, that's what happens when the anointing shows up. Burdens are removed, yokes are destroyed. Hallelujah! I'm telling you right now, if you're watching this live, when you leave, some yokes are going to be destroyed, some burdens are going to be removed, some soul ties are going to be— oh my God! Some soul ties are going to be broken. Ukiskata brekelebe kukushkabande. Some soul ties. Yes, Lord. Some burdens are going to be removed right now in the name of Jesus because of the anointing. Another yoke is going to hit the ground. Glory to God. You know, if you think about an oxen that has a yoke on his neck, his neck swells just like the text says in comparison, and the yoke gets too small and it pops and it bites the ground. It hits the ground. And because the oxen don't like the yoke anyway, he tramples it and destroys it. Let me tell you something. The yoke is falling off your neck. While we are teaching. Some of you are bound by soul ties. Glory to God that you need broken in your life. You're married to people that ain't even your spouse because you've slept with them out of wedlock. Oh my God, I don't need to go here today, but I hear this in the spirit. And God says you need to go back and let the anointing destroy those yokes. Watch this. A soul tie is not just sexual. Let me teach this for a moment. You can be yoked up with somebody because the soul is the mind, the will, and the emotions. So you could become intimately one with somebody in heart, in mind, in will, emotion. You could be so tied to a church that you need to be free from because it was a great-great-great-grandmama church. You so tied to it, you need more, won't leave. 'cause great-great-great-grandmama went there. Let me tell you something, you gotta break that soul tie so you can grow and tap into the things of the Spirit that's bigger than religion. Listen, the world has had enough of religion. What the world needs is a display of power. They need the personality, the character, the mashach, the authority, the anointing of God to exude out of believers and bring revolutionary change in their lives. Listen, let me tell you something, man. Let me tell you something right now. You better make up in your mind that you're not going to allow another mental soul tie that somebody got in your head and told you that things are going to be a certain way always. You soul tied to those words. I decree by the anointing That every soul tie under the sound of my voice is being broken right now. So he says, it shall come to pass in that day. I'm telling you right now, we're in that day. Whenever you read, and it come to— and it came to pass, or shall come to pass in the Bible, that means that it shall be a moment of history. Glory be to God. Yeah, God is making history in your life. And I'm telling you, it's going to come to pass. Yokes are going to be destroyed. Burdens that you've been carrying for years are going to be broken. So what does this text really say? It's saying we cannot live really effectively and productively in the realm of the Spirit without the anointing of God. It is his person, his character, his authority, in us and upon us. The mashach again in Hebrew. So why do we need this anointing? I hear some of y'all saying, why, Dr. Woods? I can't just go to church. Why can't I just read the Bible at home? Why can't I just be religious and show up on Sunday or watch a virtual live and get my religion on? No, no, no. The anointing spills over into every aspect of your life, and you should use it so that God can get the glory out of everything you do. Come on now, why would you— come on— just want to settle for a religious worship experience and not live in the anointing when you leave church? Some of y'all, the only time you're anointed is when you're in church. It's dangerous. I even heard somebody say, I'm not anointed all the time. I've heard somebody say it, I'm only anointed in church. Let's deal with that. Let's deal with that immaturity, because if you're really anointed in church, you don't ever want to not be anointed because you understand what it is. You understand what it does for you. It creates a limitless opportunity. Oh God, somebody say limitless. The anointing really gives you limitless ability to do life, and that's why we ought to be trying to figure out how to be in the anointing all the time. Somebody ought to shout, limitless! That's why God said, with me all things are possible. With man is impossible. Well, with God all things are possible. So when the anointing of God is on me There are no impossibilities. Oh, oh, see, I just got in your head right there because some of you have just deemed that some things just gonna be the way they are and they're just impossible. The devil is a liar. When you get the anointing of God on your life, that, that's how Jesus lived. He, he went against the grain of systematic, antiquated thinking, and that's why the religious world hated him. Because he went against how the religious mind functioned. The religious mind moves in patterns, and it often rejects— hear me— new truth, new revelation. It often rejects anything that comes to tear down his system. It opposes the authority of the Spirit. Oh God, have mercy on us. But we need the anointing in every aspect of life. Let me give you some reasons why we need anointing. First of all, and I'm gonna be out here, I'm gonna give you these and I'm gone. The first reason we need the anointing— we need the anointing, you need the anointing, I need the anointing— you need the anointing to deal with the devil. Now, first of all, that means nothing to you if you do not believe that there is a devil. Now let me make this disclaimer. Granted, I think a lot of kingdom folk Christians have too big of a devil. They bring— they blame the devil for everything, and they focus way too much on the devil. I mean, at the end of the day, everything is not the devil. Let me just say this: everything is not a demon. Some things are you, and you got to learn to differentiate what Satan is doing and what you did. Are you hearing me? Some behaviors were not the result of demonic activity. And I know all you deep ones are going to look at this. I was just— don't understand warfare. Listen, like Paul, I have cast out more devils than all of you. I believe in the devil. Listen to me. I believe that he is real. I have cast him out of individuals. But what I do know is we ought to be doing warfare God's way. And the Bible said we shouldn't be ignorant of Satan's devices. We should understand that he's working on a far bigger plot. Oh my God, then to make you lose your car keys. Come on, man, you losing your car keys ain't the devil. Oh, that devil made me lose my car keys. Come on, stop that. Oh, that devil made me have an accident. No, you need to stop texting and driving. You need to pay attention to the road. Y'all not talking to me here. Everything is not the devil. That devil made me gain weight. No, I want the devil. That devil got me sick. Oh, it wasn't him. Some things you did, something you ate, the wrong things, something you didn't take care of your body, you didn't discipline yourself, so you ended up sick. Come on, man. The devil's strategy is to take down— my God— those who are anointed in a way that they have no influence and impact. His whole goal is to distract you, to break your focus so you don't fulfill the purpose of God. So you need the anointing to deal with him when he steps to you, because when you're anointed, he's gonna step to you. But he's going to step to you in a way that can be catastrophic if your eyes ain't open. So you need the anointing to see him, to discern what's him, what's you, and what's God. You need the anointing to deal with the devil and his deceptive ways, because the devil, he— first thing he comes, he distracts. Once he distracts you, he can now deceive you. Yeah. Once he distracts you, he can now deceive you. Y'all ain't hearing this. I'll say it one more time. Once he distracts you, he can now deceive you. And then once he deceives you, he can now cause a detour and get you moving in all the wrong directions. And after the detour— oh my God, Jesus, help me— he causes destruction. He comes to kill. Steal, and destroy. But guess what? We got a destructive weapon too. It's called the anointing. Because of the anointing, the burden is removed and the yoke is destroyed. So every yoke the enemy tries to bind us up in through soul ties, through mind, will, and emotion ties— come on now, it's not called sex ties. Sex is only the one of the ways you could be soul tied. It simply opens the door to the will and the emotions, actually, and ties your will and emotions to the person you have sex with. But that can happen without sex. So whenever the enemy brings any kind of yoke to hinder you, it's for the purpose of stopping you from moving forward in the things of God. My God, I gotta go, y'all. I gotta go. I'm almost done. You need the anointing. I'm almost done. I'm not gonna get through these. I'm gonna have to have a part 2. Number 2, you need the anointing to access heaven's resources. Oh yes, you do. You need the anointing because there are resources in the sky vaults of heaven that God wants to share with us. You know, in Malachi 3, when it talks about open the windows of heaven, the transliteration in Hebrew literally means that God will open up his sky vaults. God has vaults in the sky that have blessings and treasures that he has set aside just for the obedient, just for the anointed. See, anointed people are disciplined enough to know that I have to tithe, that I have to give and sow seed, that I have to plant my talent, not just my money. I have to give back to the world so that I can get the sky vaults open to be a blessing in my life. Number 3, you need the anointing to accomplish large tasks. There are some things that are so much bigger than you, and you'll never accomplish them without the anointing. Number 4, you need the anointing to handle trouble, because just as sure as the world, trouble is coming. Teraso in Greek, agitation. Glory to God. Trouble will come at you. Trouble will find you. Whether your name is Buffy from Buckhead or Bonquifa from Bankhead, it doesn't matter who you are. Trouble knows your address. But the reality is, if you're anointed, when trouble comes— Lord have mercy— trouble can't handle you. My God, here, because the Bible says that in Psalm 20 that God hears us in the day of trouble. The name of the God of Jacob defends us. True story. I remember I was probably about, glory to God, maybe 16 years old. I was asleep in my house where my dad, my parents were there. My dad, my mom, my sister, my brother were all asleep in the house. The heater is leaking carbon monoxide. And according to the measurements of the carbon monoxide that was in the house, it should have killed every one of us. But watch this, my daddy was such a— is such a praying man that the blood covered every one of us. My brother, my sister, me, my mom. Everybody's covered. Watch this. It hit him, and he hit the floor. I remember this like it was yesterday. We all were up around him. His eyes were rolling back in his head. He was delirious. But he said to me, he said, "Mike, go get the Bible. Turn it to Psalm 20, and I want you to begin to read it." And I began to read Psalm 20, and that's been my text ever since. Glory to God. And it said, "The Lord hear thee." in the day of trouble. Oh my God. The name of the God of Jacob defend thee. Eshiba. Some trust in chariots, some trust in horses, but we will remember the name of the Lord our God. Hallelujah, hallelujah. Glory to God. And as we begin to read that text out loud and put the word in the air, guess what happened? The anointing showed up. Glory to God. Because the word is anointed. All of a sudden, I saw my daddy's countenance begin to change. By the time the ambulance got there, hallelujah, he had come all the way back to his full senses and consciousness. They took him to the hospital, found the carbon monoxide in his body, and said it should have killed him. Oh, but God, are you hearing me? Let me tell you something. The Lord hears us in trouble, and you need the anointing to know how to react to trouble. Watch this, nothing is ever big as it first seems when you're anointed. Woo! When you're anointed, I'll say that again, that was so good. Nothing is as big as it first seems when you're anointed. People who are not anointed panic when things show up. It ain't as big as it look like, and even if you ain't anointed, when it's over, you kinda look back and say, you know what, that wasn't as bad as I thought it was. Glory to God. I got to go, y'all. You need the anointing to deal with trouble. Here's my last one, then I'll pick this up tomorrow. You need the anointing— I'm closing my Bible, glory to God— to discern God-ordained friendships. Let me tell you right now, everybody is not your friend. I'm gonna say it one more time. Everybody is not your friend. The Bible says a friend loves at all times. A friend sticketh closer to than any brother. Now watch this. If a friend loves at all times and sticks closer than a brother, true friends are going to be down with you, not just when you're on the mountaintop, but they're going to stay down with you when you hit the low valley. Oh, watch this, they're gonna stay down with you even if your life, glory to the name of God, shifts in a direction that maybe they don't understand. They're still gonna make an effort to be friendly. A friend shows themselves friendly. So you got to be anointed to know the difference between a friend and an enemy, because they— and oh my God, there are some frenemies, glory to God. That will dress up like their friends and they will destroy you at the first opportunity because all they're trying to do is get close enough to bring destruction because they watched you from afar in jealousy. I don't know who I'm helping right now, but somebody listen to me. You've been dealing with people who have watched you from afar in jealousy and they've tried to work closely only so they could destroy what you got your hands on. But the devil is a liar. I stopped by here today to tell you, you are going to win. I gotta quit, y'all. I'm done. We'll pick up— there's 6 more reasons you need the anointing, and I'll pick them up tomorrow. Father, I thank you for the anointing. I thank you for the anointing for trouble. I thank you for the anointing to deal with the devil. I thank you for the anointing that gives us victory over sickness. I thank you, God, right now for the anointing to handle large tasks. I pray now in the name of Jesus, glory to God, that you would release the anointing on every person under the sound of my voice. I decree and declare that the yokes are being destroyed and burdens are being removed right now, even as I pray. I declare that financial yokes are being broken. I declare that household yokes are being broken. I declare that curses are being broken. Generational demons are being cast out. Strongholds are being pulled down because of the anointing. And I say it is so. In Jesus' name, amen, and thanks be to God. Listen, thank you guys for joining me today, and thank you for praying with me. Listen, if you're watching this and you're not born again, why don't you bow your heads with me? If you want to give your life to Jesus Christ, you know, the Bible calls him the Messiah. He's the Anointed One. You know, the way you get to operate in these things I'm talking I'm talking about, you first must receive Jesus Christ. There's no way around it. You can't, you know, there are people that say, oh my, well, Jesus may not be God. God's a tree. God's the sun. Yeah, that's crazy. People that talk like that, they never really experienced the anointing. They never really tasted it. They thought they did, but they didn't, because the Bible says in Hebrews, when you have really been enlightened and tasted of the heavenly gift, it is impossible for you to fall away. There's something really big about God, and he's so vast, and the first step to getting there is receiving him in your heart. Would you pray for me, with me, if you don't know him? Just stretch your hand toward your phone, your camera, wherever you are, and say these words with me. Say, Father, in the name of Jesus, I repent I repent of my sin. Say, I open my heart and invite you in. Say this, say, Lord, I believe that you died and rose again on the third day. Say, Lord, I receive your mercy. I receive your grace. And I declare today, I am saved. In Jesus' name. Listen, if you prayed that prayer with me, let me tell you something: you're saved today. Your life is brand new in him. Glory to God!
