Well, grace and peace be multiplied to you from our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. And yes, welcome to The Apostle's Table. I'm so happy you're here today. And listen, I am super amped and excited about the series of teachings that I'm getting ready to share with you over the next few days on The Apostle's Table. Listen, back in September, we had a conference at our church entitled Emergence, and I just believe I heard from God that it was a time for us to emerge, open the church back up. And God clearly said, "Open up my house." And you know, we've been open since September. Nobody's caught COVID. Many people have been transformed and changed and healed because the doors are open, and we're really grateful for that. At any rate, I'm going to share with you the beginning of a roundtable I had with some very precious apostles, Apostles Brandon Cornelius and Apostle Jerry Howard. We sat down and we had a discussion about faith, family, and finances, and how we are to emerge in these areas during these times. And so on today's segment, we're talking about apostleship. You know, the apostles' office is one of the most misunderstood offices out there. So hey, I want you to get out your pen, your paper. Definitely, we can't get this all in one setting. We're gonna share with you about 25 minutes of it, and then I'm going to come back and actually talk to you about how you can get the entire 3-hour conversation. It was amazing because it's an education in these areas of faith, family, and finances from an apostolic point of view as it relates to these times that I believe every person needs. Well, let's go into this message and this talk today, already in progress. Then I'm going to come back at the end and share just a little bit more with you, pray with you and show you how you can get all of this into your life. I love you guys. Listen, this is going to be a weekend filled with his glory, and we have set aside today, uh, you know, I've been trying to get these apostles together for quite some time, and, uh, they all are so busy and I'm just blessed that they're here. Glory to God today to be able to share with us. Glory to God. And so we're going to maximize that opportunity and we're going to talk about some things. You know, I'm really excited, uh, as I do— none of this is pre-scripted. You know, I tried to ask them what y'all want to talk about and they just like, whatever you say, we're just going to talk about. So we're gonna just flow in the things of God. But as I was driving over this morning, the Lord began to speak to me and he said, son, he said there are 3 things that are vital for people to embrace in a very strong way to actually bounce back better and recover like they need to. He said number 1 is faith. Yeah, so we're going to talk today about faith, faith in God, faith in his plans, faith in the future. We're going to deal with that. But then he said also is family. Yeah, amen. So we're going to discuss family and how the church is supposed to react, not just in our immediate family but as the family of God.

Amen.

And then thirdly, he said it's going to be vital that we understand economy, finances. So we're going to talk about these three pieces today, and we're going to look at it from an apostolic vantage point. Now, the men I'm about to bring to you, they are indeed apostles. Apostles. Not only do I know this because they told me, but on many occasions I have experienced the fruit of their ministry. And I have— over both of them, God has given me the opportunity to prophesy over their life before they became apostles, that this is who they would be. And I'm so grateful to see them walking in who God said they are. It wasn't just a fly-by-night prophecy. I mean, you're gonna see in a moment that they really are apostles, because if anybody knows me, you understand I just am not going to endorse anybody who says they're an apostle just because they say it. I mean, there's some fruit to it. There's a seal to this. So we're about to express something really super, really great. Uh, here's what I need you guys to do for me. Um, I'm going to introduce each one of them, and as they come, they're going to take their seat. But I want you guys that are watching to share this live stream. So I'm going to introduce first the elder of these apostles in age, of course, uh, because They always say age before beauty. Glory to God. So, glory to God. So y'all can see already we have a lot of fun together. Glory to God. So this man of God, he hails to us from the Bay Area of California. I have had the opportunity to know him for some 31 years. Uh, when I met him, he was actually a part of another ministry in Gaithersburg, Pastor Lancaster's church. And, uh, he stood out in this ministry like a sore thumb because I knew, number one, when I first saw him 31 years ago, he was in that ministry, and he— his vision, his dreams, his anointing was far ahead of what the leader even was carrying. And that can be a very frustrating situation to be in a house where you're— he was loyal, he was submissive, but inwardly frustrated because so much ministry was in him that needed to be released. So I went and I remember the first time prophesying to him, prophesying to him in front of everybody, that you're going to pass the a great church in this region, and you're gonna have to leave this place. And eventually, not long after that, he left, birthed a new church, and church began to grow like wildfire. Um, he has such genuine anointing on his life. He's authentic, and most of all, he's a loyal man of God. His wife is here with him, a lady, Yolanda Howard, and I'm so happy for him to see him in a season of happiness and joy. Glory to the name of God. So I want to bring to you guys, to the world, to this house— y'all help me welcome Apostle Jerry Howard. Come on, give God praise. Hallelujah. Now this next young man, glory to God, I've known for a long time. And, um, in the very infancy of his ministry, he came to our church in Jackson, Mississippi. And well, let, let me go back. I always miss these pieces to the story. I was scouting out an area in Mississippi called Newton, Mississippi, because I wanted to birth a church in Newton, cuz, cuz I had this heart for rural areas. So I'm in Newton, riding around, then I stopped at the Walmart, run into this guy. I— okay, see, I'm missing— see, I'm old, man. Okay, I'm missing something else. Okay, I met him first in Jackson. He was hungry, thirsty, in the Christian bookstore, had all these Christian books about supernatural things, about the Holy Spirit, and we got to talking, and we just clicked immediately. And I told him about the church, and I never really—

you prophesied to me.

Okay, I prophesied in the store. So I told you, I'm old. Help me. I got you. So I prophesied to the man of God in the store. I don't know what I said. Whatever I said, it shifted something, and his hunger began to increase. And again, he went back to where he was. That's where he was living, but he was connected to a ministry where he was not getting fed. His hunger was not being fulfilled. And so I saw him again in Walmart in Newton. And I said— and I remembered him, I was like, oh my God. And so we talked again. Did I prophesy again? Nah, you ain't just talking. We just talked. Okay. And shortly after that, he came to the church, and he would drive from East Central College to the church, which was like an hour and 30 minutes. And I watched him develop. His sister sisters and brothers that were in the ministry with him. You know, the Bible always says the last shall be first. They never viewed him as the one that will emerge as he has. And I'm telling you, he has done— he's doing an amazing job in Jackson, Mississippi with Glory Revival Center. They're creating culture of revival in the Jackson-Madison region, and I'm so particularly proud of him, him and his wife Denise, and I'm glad he's here with us today. I'm glad you guys are here. Um, I, first of all, I want to help people, and then we're going to get into the subject matter. And, and I'll start this and then I'll go around the room with you guys, because I think one of the great misunderstandings is the office of the apostle. A lot of people really don't know what an apostle is, what his functionality is, and I, I'm just gonna lay a brief foundation definitively on what the apostle is and what he does, and I'm gonna let you guys elaborate on that. So for you guys that are watching us, you guys in the room, because this is one of the most misunderstood offices is out of the fivefold ministry. Watch this, it's the most rejected of all five, right? You know, even the prophet now is accepted far more than the apostle, right? So when we consider this word apostle, it comes from actually the Greek word apostolos, which in its simplest form means a sent one, right? But then we have to dive deeper and understand how the apostle is sent. One, he's sent with plenipotentiary status. Plenipotentiary means that the apostle is housed with unique potential inside of him that come— or her— that comes from the Father, right, to operate in all spheres of gifting from the Holy Spirit. Yeah, so that means the apostle with plenipotentiary status should be able to prophesy, should also be able to pastor, should be able to evangelize, should be able to teach. God knows if you're saying you're an apostle and can't teach, that, that's per— that's very problematic. Yes, because we have to teach the principles of the kingdom.

Yeah.

We have to teach doctrine. We preach the gospel, but we teach doctrine, and the apostles teach it with a plenipotentiary level. Also, the apostles can move, uh, efficiently through all of the 9 gifts of the Spirit. Tongues, interpretation of tongues, discerning of spirits, word of wisdom, word of knowledge, word of faith, healings, miracles, and prophecy. They move through all of those gifts seamlessly. So he has plenty potential areas. Not only does he broker gifts in the church— Apostle began to allude to this in his prophecy, even to me last night— we as apostles, we have an authority or a government in the world where we can influence leaders in the world. We ought to be influencing people on every matter because that's what it is. I mean, bottom line, that's what it— and a lot of times in the old school, what happened was the men of old didn't understand apostleship, so they called themselves bishops.

That's right.

Because nobody was teaching this dimension. Yeah. So the apostle has gubernatorial authority that comes from heaven. The government of heaven is sealed inside of us because we were elected by God. Right. Watch this. The apostle Thirdly, then I'm gonna let these apostles go forth with this. They are stratospheric warriors, right? Which means the apostles' plane makes a greater impact in the realm of the spirit than in the realm of the earth. Are y'all hearing me?

Yes.

Yeah, good God Almighty. So we are air traffic controllers. The reason I know that I am— even though my church is not the largest, half of the people here— my, my value in the region called Georgia is not to pastor an 8,000-member church, right? It's not who he's called me to be. I'm here, and if that happens, that'll be by his grace. But I understand clearly, as an apostle, my assignment is stratospheric. So in prayer, I become the gatekeeper of the region. The reason New Birth can work is because I'm here. Y'all got to talk, it's true. Eddie Long stayed alive as long as he did because I was standing toe-to-toe with those demons.

Demon, come on.

Yes, that was trying to kill A great— because he was a good pastor. Yeah. So at the end of the day, God had me on assignment to cover him. I didn't need to know him, I didn't need to be in the same room with him, because I was operating in the realm where I saw everything that was trying to destroy his influence coming at him. Come on.

Yeah.

The reason Dale Brunner can do what he do in this city because I'm here. They may never recognize it. I don't care, right? I'm not looking for the recognition, right? What I am clear of, glory be to God, is that my plane is to control the atmosphere of my region, right? It's to make sure that the region operates at a level of kingdom integrity that it should. So, apostles, I'll start with you. Apostle?

That was, that was a good description and prescription for us concerning the apostle. But I want to read one scripture before I make this comment John chapter 6, verse 38.

Yes, sir.

And you mentioned that the apostles are sent ones. John chapter 6, verse 38 says, for I came down from heaven not to do my own will, but the will of him that sent, that sent me.

Yes, that's it.

Now, who is this? This is Jesus.

Yes, that's right.

Jesus was the first apostle.

Yes, he was.

He was sent here. He was a sent one.

Yes.

And so he established the apostolic in the earth realm.

Yes.

Because he was a sent one. Now we must understand that, uh, his, his, his, his anointing and his, his purpose was to preach the kingdom. He was not just sent here just to be sent.

That's right.

He said he's— he, he was sent to preach kingdom.

Yes, yes.

And within the apostolic, as an apostle, we know Ephesians chapter 4, verse 11. Yes, those are gifts. Yes, that he gave when he ascended. He gave these gifts. Yes, sir. So the apostle, it's not that he's number one in the Ephesians chapter 4, verse 11. It's not that he's better than anybody.

Come on, that's right, come on.

But the reason why he's first in that order— and that's keyword, order. Apostles have order.

Yes.

Uh, the reason why he's first in that order is because he carries the most weight. Yes, he's a weight carrier.

Come on, that's good.

He handles things that the other gifts cannot handle, right? And he comes to the house of God— when he comes into the house of of God because he was first set in the house of God. And apostles and prophets are the foundation, yes, of the church. So what he does is he comes in and he sets the order in the house. Yes, he makes sure that there is order, not just any ordinary order, kingdom order.

Kingdom order.

He comes in and says kingdom order in the house because we've got too many people now who have pastoral order in the house.

Come on.

And we have religious order in the house.

Come on.

When the apostle shows up, he shows up with kingdom order in the house. Yes, he brings in the kingdom structure in the house. Now, since they're the foundation of the church, the apostles are the foundation of the church. Let me rewind this up just a little bit. In order for you to be an apostle, you must first be a disciple. Come on, let me say that again because I don't think the faith was heard. Come on, you, you, you, you must be a disciple before you are an apostle.

Come on.

So the question becomes, who is discipling you?

That's right.

You picked up the title, but who discipled you?

Come on.

And we got too many people who are picking up the title because they think they're— it's glamorous.

Come on, come on.

And they think it's easy work. But Paul said we are the scum of the earth.

Come on, God.

We are challenged on every side as an apostle.

Yes.

And so we have apostles who have title but no discipleship. Watch this. Even Jesus was discipled by John the Baptist. Doctor, if Jesus was discipled, why not you be discipled as an apostle?

Come on, come on now.

And watch this, and they did not become apostles until he ascended.

Come on.

And the minimum time of being an apostle is 3 years because that's what Jesus did with his disciples.

That's what he did, 3 years.

Yes sir, yeah, we're disciples. And when he ascended, then they became apostles. Not while he was here. Come on, glory to God. Yeah, but when he ascended, he ascended, they became apostles. So, so we've got people trying to run ahead of God.

Come on, come on, Jesus.

And try to run side by side with, with Jesus. You can't do it.

Hello, sir.

There is what Order.

Order.

And so apostles bring in the order. They are spiritual supernatural judges concerning the structure of the church.

Yes.

And the foundation, and putting the foundation in the church. What is the foundation? The apostles and prophets are the, uh, foundation. They are the foundation of the church. So what is the foundation that they bring to the church is simple. One word: Jesus.

Jesus.

Yes, Jesus is the foundation. They bring Jesus with them. Yes, they are equipped with Jesus.

Hallelujah!

Because that's all they know. Yes, I don't know anything else about any denomination. I don't know anything, and I don't desire to know about your denomination. I don't desire to I know about your religion.

Come on.

All I know is I'm imparted with Jesus.

Yes.

And I'm— if Jesus— I'm imparted with Jesus, then I'm able to help you build your church to be connected to the kingdom of God.

Come on.

I give it over to the apostle.

Giving to you. I'm about to give it right to you. I just need to tell these people watching us, y'all, y'all getting masterized. Share this, share this. The, the world needs to hear the voice of these apostles. Uh, we need clarity. The Bible says in all our getting, get an understanding. Understanding in Hebrew is clarity. And so God wants you to be clear about how the body works, how the functionality of the body works. Now here, here's Apostle K is about to share with us on apostleship. Man of God, know you're overflowing over there.

Well, we got to understand, uh, just— I mean, I'm stirred up from both of y'all talking about the apostolic. It's so much, it's so broad. Yes, you know, we're trying to bring it in a smaller setting, but, um, one of the things about the apostleship that everybody wants to to be an apostle. Again, going piggyback what you're saying, they want to be an apostle because they, they've seen the counterfeit apostleship for so long that they don't understand the authenticity behind it. Because apostleship is a death sentence.

Yeah, come on, sir.

When you come into apostleship, it becomes a death sentence because God Paul said, I am a bond servant.

Yes.

And that's the first place you have to be. You have to, you have to come into service. You have to serve the body of Christ. So many people want to get the title and want everybody to serve them, but God, but God says if you're going to come into apostleship, you are a first, a servant to the body of Christ. You said you, you're a bond servant, you're a slave to Jesus. Yes, yes, in order to serve the body.

Come on.

Oh, come on.

The change you have in Jesus causes you to serve the body effectively.

Come on.

Are y'all with me?

Yeah.

And when we get in the days of Jesus, Jesus, uh, Jesus actually took the word apostolos from the Greek history. Are y'all with me?

Come on.

Because, because the word apostolos come from that Greek era Yes. And, and Jesus was looking at a natural picture of a supernatural people.

Yes, yes.

So he, he, when you deal with that word apostolos, it, it was the king sent out an admiral ship. That's right, the flagship.

Y'all with me?

Yes. It was the first ship, along with others following it, to go into new territories, to break open new territories so they can bring that culture with them.

Come on, come on, y'all with me?

So, so, so the Romans went into Israel, right? They went into Israel, they, they, they took over the territory and start teaching Israel how to be Romans.

Yeah, come on.

That's why I said the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, but the what? Violent take it by force. We spiritualize that.

Yeah, come on.

Yeah, but what really happened, the kingdom of— the kingdom of heaven was Israel. My God, Israel suffered violence.

That's right.

Jesus, the Romans took it by force.

My God.

Then when Jesus— you got to go, you got it, because I know you got that mic. Come on, you can add it. You want to answer? Because when Jesus saw that, Jesus said, okay, we're gonna take it in a different direction. You took it by force. We're gonna take it and give people choice.

Come on.

That's why he had to preach the kingdom. Yes, that's why he had to send them out as apostles to heal the sick, to cast out devils, y'all, to cleanse the lepers, even to raise the dead. Why? Because once you preach and once you demonstrate, now you show a kingdom that's out of this world.

Come on.

Now you got— that's why he said Repent. Why? Because I gotta take you to the penthouse. Come on, I gotta take you back to the top culture where you originally from, but you failed when Adam failed.

Come on.

Yes, so I gotta take you back to a whole new culture that you gotta relearn again. Come on, your thinking gotta come up again. So apostles are also pioneers. Pioneers break into new line of thought. New line of activity and new line of development. And this is why the apostolic is hated.

Come on, come on.

Because when you try to break religious protocols, every spirit, every system, and every mindset will counteract you. See, the religious spirit is an antichrist spirit. Yeah, it's against the anointing. Come on. And as an apostle, you got to be anointed. And if you don't have an anointing, you can't break open a system that has been embedded in the mind of people for years. Why do you think that Paul said this? Paul said that the warfare is in the mind. You gotta understand, the word warfare there literally means apostolic career.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

The apostolic got a whole career against the warfare of the mind of the people, of the spirits that come against you, and of the systems that have been put in place.

Are y'all hearing that?

So, so we go against systems, spirits, and mindsets that have been embedded for years.

Yes.

And this is why we go through so much, uh, just resistance in every city you go into.

Yes.

You gotta understand, you gotta go So as an apostle, you go in to build spiritual cities first. Once you build a spiritual city, the natural city starts aligning with the spiritual city. I'll stop right there.

Well, let me share this real fast, and I'm just gonna do it real quick. That's so powerful, Apostle. Both of these words, power. Listen, you guys share this, share it, share it, please. It's like a real estate agent. When Apostle was talking, this is what I heard. It's like a real estate agent showing a client property. Come on. And let's say that property, Apostle Howard, is the Empire State Building. Come on. Beautiful building, huge building in New York. And the client is awestruck by the structure, right, and says, I love this building. And buys the building, has no blueprints, has— oh my God— has no idea how many floors in the building, right? Doesn't understand how deep the foundation is, right? But buys the building because they're awestruck by the structure. Come on, come on. Here's what happened with people in apostolic ministry. They get awestruck by the structure, come on, Jesus, and they buy into go through the process without knowing the price, the price, the blueprints. Uh, uh, watch this, or the history, right? A building like the Empire State Building has history.

Yeah.

And God, he breaks us to make us better. Oh my God. And the more broken we get, the closer we get to him. That's why Apostle, when he said it's a death sentence You can't just buy into the structure because you don't understand the ground had to be broken. And there was, there was, there was massive attacks on the— oh my God— the life of the apostle, because the enemy wanted to kill the apostle before they came into full knowledge of who they really were.

Right, right.

Oh God, go ahead. I know you got something.

I'll go all day, you know, um, as an apostle. Um, and you were talking about a death sentence.

Yes, sir.

And you know, Jesus was on death row for 33 years, and, and, and he had to hurry to select disciples to become apostles. He was in a hurry. He was not, uh, prolonging it. Because he had a short period of time to teach them how to cast out devils and how to heal the sick and raise the dead. Yeah, uh, so he had a short period of time to teach them. Yeah, and a short period of time to grow them into maturity. Yeah, the problem with what we have today is we've got apostles that are not mature. Come on. Watch this. 1 Corinthians chapter 13, verse 11. Paul said this: when I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child. But when I became a man, I put— this is the apostle talking— yeah, I put away childish things.

Yes, yes.

You cannot be an apostle and be immature because of the weight that you carry. In the earth realm.

That's right.

And I like what Apostle Cornelius said. He said, we warfare. Yeah, we live a life of warfare.

Yes, sir.

We're warring even in our sleep. We war. Come on, when we walk into a store, we worry. Yeah, we have that spirit of warfare because there's always an attack against the apostles. Glory to God. Hallelujah. Some people don't understand what this title holds and what it carries and, and what comes against it.

Come on.

They don't understand that you're gonna lose some stuff. Come on.

Come on, sir. Come on.

You're gonna have some stuff taken away from you now. Some people gonna leave you. Come on. Some people gonna talk about you.

Well, my God, wasn't that amazing? And listen, it only gets better as we get deeper and deeper into it. In a moment, I'm going to show you how you can get the entire thing into your life so you can access it when you want at any time. Well, before I do that, I want to pray with you. I believe something is shifting for you right now in your faith, in your finances, and even in your family. So I want to take an opportunity to pray for you. You know, at the end of the day, for a lot of people, 2020 has been a very challenging year. And I want to say to you right now before I pray that God is going to cause you to be able to finish this year strong. You're going to finish strong and you're going to emerge into a year that's going to be absolutely amazing. You know, the Lord spoke to me last week at the church and he said, Son, 2021 is going to be the year of amazing things. And I'm telling you, you need to get in position to experience the amazing things that's going to be released from an amazing God. Can I pray for you now that you'll finish strong, that you won't give up, and that you'll move into this new chapter that's coming up in 2021 with excitement, with passion, and with joy? Let's pray. Father, in Jesus' name, we thank you for another opportunity, of course, to share your word with these, your people. And I'm thankful right now that even as I pray, There's a supernatural shift happening for every person under the sound of my voice, for every person that's hearing this prayer. I decree and declare right now, first of all, that their faith capacity is expanding. I decree and declare that their faith is larger than ever and that they are believing bigger than they ever believed before. And I'm thanking you now that their worst days, hallelujah, are over. And I'm decreeing that these are the best days of their life in the name of Jesus. Secondly, Father, I'm praying for their families. I'm praying that their children, hallelujah, will expand in their ability to serve you. I'm praying, God, that they will find purpose and destiny, and that we'll be aligned with your will in our families, dear God. I thank you for the blessing of the Lord on our families that makes rich and adds no sorrow. And thirdly, I pray for the finances of those that are listening, God, and I decree and declare that you're releasing innovation, creative ideas that come from the Holy Spirit, that they can have astronomical and exponential growth in the area of wealth and finances. We receive it now, and we thank you for it in advance. In the matchless name of Jesus Christ, we do pray. Amen. And thanks be to God. Hallelujah. Well, praise God, from whom all blessings So listen, I am super excited. I feel a shift happening in your life right now. I dare you receive it.
