The Apostle's Table | Dr Mike Woods | 7-02-20 | The God of Plenty, Pt. 4

In this live sermon, Dr. Mike Woods continues his "God of Plenty" series, proclaiming that God is a limitless source of provision. He grounds his message in Genesis 41 (Joseph’s seven years of abundance) and 2 Chronicles 31 (Hezekiah’s tithing harvest), using these passages to illustrate four components of a divine assignment—people, place, particulars, and provision—and to warn that procrastination blocks the flow of plenty. Woods declares a prophetic “seven‑year season of plenty” for listeners, urging immediate obedience, tight relationship with God, and active tithing. He introduces the concept of being on the “other side of money,” where financial concerns disappear, and repeatedly calls listeners to sow a financial seed via the church’s donation platforms, promising that such faith‑filled giving will unlock overflow for personal blessing and kingdom impact. The sermon ends with a prayer for the promised season and a final exhortation to share the message.

We're continuing our series today. Praise the Lord. Our conversation on the God of Plenty. And you know, the God of Plenty is a term that It literally describes one of the characteristics or personality traits of the God we serve. I want you to be very clear that God is not a God of lack. He is not a God— glory to God— of empty. He is a God of plenty. And not only is he a God of love, a God of peace, a God of power, a God of justice, he's also, ladies and gentlemen, the God of plenty. And listen, I'm not going to do a lot of review today, so please, the messages are either in this YouTube channel or my Facebook timeline or on our website. Go and listen to the previous messages, and I promise you, you're gonna get a great understanding and you're gonna be, uh, encouraged to take action with what you hear. All right, so our God again is the God of plenty. He's the God of plenty. My God, and I began talking last time about the fact that we are filled with plenty and that we are partakers of the divine nature. And so I want to start here, uh, today, and I want to share with you that the God of plenty, he has enough in his storehouse to supply every need that every believer would ever have and then have so much left over. I'm gonna say that again. The God of plenty. Hallelujah. He has enough. I dare you, shout that. Say, God has enough. I don't care how big your need may be. I want to tell you right now, God has— whoa. God has enough, and he has enough that in his storehouse in heaven, in his treasure chest— glory to God— that he's able to supply the need of every believer. And whatever need we'll ever have, he's God enough to supply it. You know, I have a philosophy: if God brings it to my mind and if God puts it in my spirit to do I want you to be on— I want you to be very clear about something. I believe if God was deliberate enough to give me an idea, to give me an innovation, to give me a dream, he's also God enough to provide for it. He doesn't give us things and then say, okay, well, you go figure it out. No, if God gives you something— and listen, so many times in my life, guys, in ministry, again, I say this a lot not to to boast in how long I've been in ministry, but really to give you some history behind the amalgamations of failures and successes I've had. And there have been times over these last 30 years of ministry, guys, where I have blown it so big because God gave me something, and instead of me waiting on him to give me the plan on how to provide for it, me and my smart self went out and started trying to make it happen myself. And when you do that, it never works. And the reason a lot of people get discouraged with an assignment from God, because they spend days trying to do it themselves. But I'm gonna say it one more time. The God of plenty has enough— somebody shout, enough— in his storehouse to supply every need that we will ever have. And then he's got much left over. In other words, he never runs out. You know what that means? That means if God never runs out, it also means you never run out. Isn't that good stuff? It means if God— if your Father doesn't run out, you don't run out neither. And so many times we live beneath our prison. So what I want to do today, I want to just read through some scriptures that identify the God of plenty and what he has and what he's able to do. And I want to make you very clear that the people we're going to read about in the text— God has no respect of person. If he did it for them, he'll do it for you and I. Amen. So I want you to open your ears and your faith. The scripture says faith come by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. So as we read the word of God today, open up your ears, hear and receive, glory be to God, what thus saith the Lord. Hallelujah. So let's first look at Genesis 41:46-49. I'm reading out of the Message Bible, and the Bible says this. It says, Joseph was 30 years old when he went to work for Pharaoh, the king of Egypt. As soon as Joseph left Pharaoh's presence, he began to his work in Egypt. So watch this. The day Joseph reported to work for Pharaoh, the moment the meeting was over, Joseph did not belabor, but he went immediately to move in his assignment. There was no procrastination. Here's what I want you to understand. When you plug into something, when you plug into something, oh my God, you have to put procrastination to the side and you have to make up in your mind and your spirit. Oh my God. Oh, she kabba, brikela basu, Rabba Ki, that you're going to be diligent and deliberate immediately about following the directions of God. So Joseph, when he left God's presence, he began his work in Egypt. When he left— I'm sorry, left Pharaoh's presence. Let's get this in context. He began his work in Egypt. Hear me today, watch this. During the next 7 years of plenty, the land produced bumper crops. Joseph gathered up the food of 7 good years in Egypt and stored the food in cities. In each city he stockpiled surplus, whoo-hoo, from the surrounding fields. And Joseph collected so much grain, it was like the sand of the ocean. Lord have mercy. That he finally quit keeping track. In other words, Joseph has so much surplus, so much stockpile of inventory of harvest, that he just stopped counting it because something clicked in his spirit that he would never run out. Now, what is this text saying to us? First of all, it's saying to us that procrastination will hinder— hallelujah— the release of plenty. Joseph went immediately and began to work. So when you procrastinate, when God gives you an instruction, if he tells you to sow something, if he tells you to go to a place— watch this— because every assignment has basically 4 things. Every assignment, number 1, has people. So if God says these are the people to whom you are assigned to in this season, in this juncture of your life, what you have to do is decide, okay, I'm gonna not procrastinate and I'm gonna get to these people. Because in the timing that God gave you the instruction— watch this— the people need what you got. Secondly, in every assignment— watch this— there are places, geographical locations that God will send you to carry out the assignment. Geography is important to every purpose. And so when God gives you an assignment in the kingdom, when he tells you this is your— this is where you're going to work, this is where your throne is, this, my God, is where you will have dominion, you got to make up in your mind, I'm gonna follow God and I'm gonna do exactly what the Lord tells me to do. Watch this. Every assignment has particulars, so you got to be tight enough with God. Your relationship needs to be tight. I'm gonna say it again. Your relationship with God needs to be tight so that, my God, you can clearly hear the particulars, so you have the ability to discern your voice, the devil's voice, and God's voice. There's a difference. The scripture says, my sheep know my voice, and a stranger they will not follow. So you got to know, you got to be so in tune and tight with God that when he issues instructions, you don't miss it to the left nor to the right, but you move in accuracy. And fourthly, in every assignment there is Oh my God, provision. And when I tell you, according to this text, the provision comes big time. The provision, it comes in a way when God starts pouring it on. Oh God, when God starts opening the windows of heaven and pouring this blessing on you where you don't have a room to receive it, where you don't have enough space to hold it— watch this— or you get like Joseph and it just gets so much you stop counting Boy, I tell you, that's the way God wants to bless us. He— and watch this. And so during the next 7 years of plenty— oh my God, I'm prop— let me prophesy to somebody. In the midst of COVID-19, in the midst of recession where the stock market is really bad right now, in the midst of— glory to God— losing jobs, in the midst of— oh my God, let me prophesy to you. I heard the Holy Ghost say, as I read that right then, he said to tell you, you're about to enter into the next 7 years of plenty. Woo! I'm telling you this, if you're listening to this live or by replay, God said you're about to enter into 7 years of plenty. Oh my God. So position yourself in the assignment so plenty can be released and eliminate procrastination. Did y'all hear what I said? You need to avoid time wasters. Avoid procrastinators. They are contagious. People that waste time and want to put it off to tomorrow. I heard the Lord say, if you're going to get into your 7 years of plenty, you got to dismiss them. Oh yeah, you got— oh yeah, you got to let them go so you can walk in your 7. Oh my God, God said the next 7 years, like Joseph Oh boy, it's about to be 7 years of plenty. Wow, wow. He gathered a little food of 7 good years in Egypt and stored up the food in the cities. God's about to give you a surplus. You're about to have so much in savings, so much in your investment portfolio. God's about to do it for us, y'all. Well, we, we're gonna have so much we can't even count it. Because our heart and our mind will be aligned with the heart and mind of God, and we won't be storing it up for selfish reasons. See, God is not trying to give you this so you can buy a Bentley or just buy jets to flaunt and to be on Instagram talking about you ballin'. No, God wants you to advance his kingdom with the wealth he releases. I dare you, touch your belly and say, I receive. In the name of Jesus, 7 years of plenty. I dare you receive it right now in Jesus' name. And right where you are, I dare you give God glory, honor, and praise right where you are. Glory to God. I dare you praise him in advance. If God's credit is good with you, I dare you praise him in advance right now for 7 years of plenty. Ah, he said Joseph has so much that it was like the grain of the ocean. You know how much ocean it is? You know how many, how much, how many seabeds it is and how many miles of seabed it is? Oh my, and how many grains is in that seabed? Listen, God says, I want to bless your socks off. Where, watch this, where money and wealth is not an issue. I need somebody to hear me. Watch this. God wants to move you. Oh God, to the other side of money. Oh God, help us. I dare somebody to shout, say Lord. Come on, let's pray that right now. Say Father, in the name of Jesus, Say, move me to the other side of money. And I'm telling you right now, that's what God wants to do for you. Hallelujah. He wants to move you to the other side of money. What is that, Michael Woods? Let me tell you what it is. It's when money is not an issue. It's when you got other things you're trying to figure out what you need to do strategically with the money. To advance the kingdom. You're not worried about how you're going to pay for it when you're on the other side of money. Oh, I dare you say it again. I feel that in my spirit, God. Oh my God, somebody shout it again. Move me to the other side of money in Jesus' name. I'm talking about the other side where you don't have to go in the store and look at price tags. When you're building something, you don't have to worry about— glory to the name of God— how you gonna cover the cost. Or you're starting a business. You ain't got to worry about capital for a building, capital for inventory, capital for employees, because you living on the other side of money. Oh my God. And you ain't got to worry about that. Woo-wee! Watch this. When you're on the other side of the money, all of your bills is on autopay and you don't even worry about it. You just know every month, like clockwork, is coming out of there. And you don't even worry whether you gonna have it or not, 'cause you know you got enough before you even punch a clock. Ha ha ha ha ha. Before you even go to work, you got surplus stored up. I'm talking about something that God wants to do supernaturally for us. He's the God of plenty. Let's look at 2 Chronicles, glory to God. My time is growing short, glory to God. 2 Chronicles 31, I'm gonna read verses 6 through 10. and I'm reading out of the New Living Translation. The Bible says this, it says, the people who had moved from Judah to Israel, and the people of Judah themselves, brought in the tithes of their cattle, sheep, and goats, and a tithe of the things that had been dedicated to the Lord their God, and they piled them up in— oh my God. In great heaps. They began piling them up in late spring, and the heaps continued to grow. Ooh-wee! Ho-ho! Until early autumn, when Hezekiah and his officials came and saw these huge piles. They thanked the Lord and his people Israel and asked the question, where did all this come from? Hezekiah asked the priests and Levites, and Azariah the high priest from the family of Zadok replied, since the people begin bringing their gifts to the Lord's temple, we have had enough to eat and plenty to spare. The Lord has blessed his people and all this is left over. Now there's something very important you want to remember about these 4 verses. Second Chronicles 31, verses 6 through 10. The first of all, the people move— these are people who moved from Judah, which was a tribe of Israel, but they actually move to Israel. Now watch this. Judah, we know the transliteration in Hebrew means to whom praise is due, or praise. So when praise Oh my God, move to Israel. Israel represents chosen people. It represents the home country. It represents aligning with the home government. Oh my God. So watch this. There are a lot of religious worshipers who worship and cry, glory to the name of God, hallelujah, and they tap into God. Oh my God, there's a lot of worshipers who praise and give God glory and go through great bodily exercise. Glory to God. I love praise. I love worship. We should do it. Here's the problem. There has to be a point when praise comes home and aligns itself with government, that aligns itself with the government of the home country. So you're offering up praise, but now praise has to leave the worship service, the worship experience of praise, and now begin to align itself with the instructions of government that comes from the home country. Oh wow. And the people— watch this— the people of Praise, watch this, they brought the tithes of their cattle, their sheep, their goats, and a tithe of the things that have been dedicated to the Lord their God. In other words, they realized that the tenth was holy unto God. They did not hold it back. Listen, if you, you don't understand this, there are people out here that will tell you that tithing is of the devil, and they'll tell you that the preacher just wants your tithe so he can get rich. Listen, that's not the case. I thank God I'm blessed that I don't need people to pay tithes to live. I thank God my bills are paid without one person paying tithe. Thanks be to God for that. Glory to God. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. If nobody else ever chooses to obey God and tithe into Rhonda Church, into Michael Woods, into anything that we set our hands to do ministry-wise, guess what? I'm not— it's not going to stop me from having a roof over my head. It's not going to stop me from being able to have lights and gas and water, because at the end of the day, my life doesn't depend on that. And nope, really, at the end of the day, you got to understand that even if the preacher does get a salary from your tithe— I'm not saying that's wrong if a preacher is doing that, because that's what's happening, but it just so happens some preachers may not need that. But let me tell you something, you shouldn't do it because of what you think the preacher is going to get anyway. You should give 10% of your earnings to God because it is his. The scripture says the tent is holy, and what it does is it is a key that unlocks heaven. Uh, y'all don't scroll past me now. Oh, glory to God! I told y'all there's two things we don't like to talk about in church, is sex and money. But at the end of the day, everybody wants a lot of both of them. But you know what? If you want to see plenty begin to flow in your life, The first principle you gotta align with is tithing. And I'm not telling you to tithe to me. If you are— if you're a member of a church, glory to God, you, you need to find somewhere where you're giving 10% of your earnings to God and give it in the name of God. Because there are people that don't even go to church that I know, businessmen, but they tithe. You know what? Their businesses remain blessed. Because they walk in the principle. But notice what happened to these people, man, these praisers, these worshipers. Helebashikurashabai. The Bible said they began piling up to excess in late spring, and heaps continued to grow all the way into the fall. Months and months of harvest because they were obedient. And watch this, you talk about living in the overflow, where the overflow is not for you. The overflow is so that you can release it— glory to the name of God— into those that have need of it. And you can help people for real who need help, because you and I are now walking in the overflow through our obedience. Y'all catching this? The tenth is holy to God, period. Oh wait, okay, it is whether you believe it or no, it is. And what it does, according to this text, it releases plenty. You see plenty. The Bible said they have plenty to spare. How about you start living in days and months where you have more money than you do month. What do you mean by that? That means whatever expenses your month produces, you always have more money than the expenses, because— and then you have enough to spare, and you continue again to live in this surplus that will never ever run out. I got to get out of here, man. I gotta go, I gotta go. But so we gotta understand that if we're gonna inherit the plenty— I must cut my iPad off, I won't read anymore. We'll pick this up tomorrow, we'll pick it up tomorrow. Listen, God wants you to move in this next 7 years of plenty. We've already confessed it. Touch your belly again, say, Lord, I receive. 7 years of plenty. But you got to make up in your mind you're gonna get that relationship tight with God. You're gonna listen to what he has to say. You're gonna minister to the people. You're gonna serve the people that you're supposed to serve. You're gonna go to the topography, the places, the geography that he will have you go to. You're gonna listen closely to him for the particulars so you can receive plenteous provision. That's what this is. That's what I'm teaching. That's what all I wanted to say today. He wants to give you plenty as provision. Glory to God. Listen, if you listen to me right now, and I'm gonna pray and we're gonna be done. God wants you to inherit this 7 years of plenty. I feel this in my spirit. Why don't you sow right now into those 7 years? Glory to the name of God. There are— oh my God— about 21 people right now that are listening that need to immediately— I'm not going to tell you what to do, but you need to plant a seed in your 7 years of plenty. The website is radachurch.com/donate. You can give via Cash App, Rad Church. This money doesn't go to me, it goes to our church ministry. Listen, if you want to sow via text, text the words RADA GIVE, all one word, to 31996. You'll get a link back. Click that link and sow your seed. Let me tell you why this is important, because you want to position yourself in obedience to receive. Flow in the anointing. Hallelujah. Right now, that came through this revelation. He's the God of plenty, y'all, and he has no respect of person. I'll pick this up tomorrow. Let's pray. I love you guys so much, and all I want to do is help us get everything we need to win on every cylinder. Let's pray. Father, in Jesus' name, I thank you for your goodness, your mercy, your grace, your kindness, your favor. Father, bless every person under the sound of my voice. I pray that you do something unusual, something man cannot do. I pray for 7 years of plenty. I pray, God, that they will move in obedience and trust you. And even as they sow, God, exchange it. That's for their seed. And I rebuke selfishness. I rebuke— glory to the name of God— stinginess. And I pray that they will liberally give now. I decree and declare, Lord, that even as I'm praying, somebody that's not born again, you will release them into a season of plenty. And they will know what it's like to serve you, God. In the mighty name of Jesus, I bless you for it now. In Jesus' name, amen. And thank God. Listen, thank you guys for joining me today at the Apostle's Table. My time is gone. Please sow your seed. Position yourself. I mean, either you're gonna do it or you're not. Amen. If you don't, I mean, it's up to you. But I'm telling you right now, it works. Position yourself, and as you do that, you're going to experience great harvest. I'm telling you, the prophetic word went out— 7 years of plenty. Y'all be blessed and share this word with a friend. And remember, you're always welcome at the Apostle's Table. Y'all be blessed. Peace.
