All right everybody, God bless your hearts. This is Apostle Michael Lyris Woods and welcome to tonight's edition of The Apostle's Table. I am so happy that you're here. I am simply going to share some things tonight that I believe is going to be a tremendous blessing to everybody that joins us. So please do me a favor right now, I want you to share this I want you to tag somebody in this video. Uh, I have my very good friend with me here tonight, Apostle Jerry Howard, and we're going to talk about why the Holy Ghost is important. And I think it's very apropos during this time, during this day, that we have a discussion about the Holy Ghost, because literally this is the day of 50 days after the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Where we celebrate the Feast of Pentecost. So we're going to dive into some things and we're just going to have a dialogue because, you know, in the world today, you know, the Holy Spirit is definitely needed and most people are completely deceived about how they need to receive it. They're deceived about whether or not they have it or not because it just hadn't been taught. So I brought one of a man I know who is filled with the Holy Ghost, and I've been knowing him for years in his life. And we're gonna have a discussion on the Holy Spirit and what it means, and again, how to have a real relationship with the Holy Ghost. So let's jump right into this. Um, again, Apostle Jerry Howard is with me. Apostle Howard, I'm gonna unmute you, man, and welcome to tonight. And we're gonna have a— unmute yourself, Apostle. I thought I was on mute. All right, all right, Apostle. So welcome tonight, Apostle. Certainly grateful to have you here, man, um, to have this discussion about the Holy Spirit. You know, um, you and I, we've been walking with God for quite some time. And most of that time we've been walking with him, we've been baptized in the Holy Spirit. And, uh, one of the things I want to discuss tonight, because I think a part of a lot of the problems we see in the body of Christ today, uh, with leaders and laity alike, is that many people really don't have the baptism of the Holy Ghost. Apostle, so why do you think that is, man of God? Why is it that so many have miss this tremendous opportunity that you and I and so many others have had to have relationship and experience with the Holy Spirit. What do you think the main problem is that most people are not connected to the Holy Ghost or have received the baptism in the Holy Spirit like they should?

Well, um, it's, it's, it's very simple, Dr. Woods. I want to thank you for allowing me to be on here tonight. Uh, this is a very strategic topic that we're dealing with on tonight. A lot of, uh, preachers, a lot of pastors are not dealing with the Holy Spirit.

Yes, sir.

The first thing I think is it's, it's a lot of distraction. People are distracted, uh, from receiving the Holy Spirit. Uh, they think that they're okay without it. They think they can function without it. Uh, and number 2 is, um, who can receive the Holy Spirit is the question. And it's very simple: those that ask and those that receive in their hearts will receive it. A lot of people are not asking. A lot of people are not asking for the Holy Spirit. They do not want that part of their life, their spirit man, touched. By God. And so we are in a place now where we're finding people who do not have it, and not only do not have it, but they're trying to mimic other people that have it. And it has become a, a thorn in the side of the church, uh, because on the day of Pentecost, which is this Sunday that we celebrate— well, churches will celebrate the day of Pentecost Jesus told his disciples, first thing he said, he said, I'm going to pray to the Father that he send you another Comforter that will abide in you forever. Here's, here's the reason why, here's the reason why he did that. Because number one, Jesus could not physically enter into every man on the earth. He could not physically— it was just impossible for him to do. But when he prayed to the Father to send him the whole— to send the Holy Spirit down into the earth realm to his disciples, that the Holy Spirit could enter into every man, woman, boy, and girl upon the earth. Yes, no one can be left out because the Spirit is the indwelling Spirit. Now watch this. He said— Jesus said this. Jesus said this, and this is part of the question that you're asked. He said this. He said, I will not leave you an orphan.

That's what he said. That's right.

I will not leave you. So we've got people running around here without the Holy Spirit, but they're really orphans.

Yes, Lord. They have—

they have— the Holy Spirit is the connection to the Father. The Holy Spirit is the connection to the Father. So if you don't have the Holy Spirit, you are actually an orphan. I don't care how many times you go to church. I don't care how many times you speak in false tongues, because you are an orphan in the body of Christ trying to mimic and be something that you're not instead of receiving it, instead of asking the Father to receive it, you will always be walking around fatherless.

That's good stuff, Apostle. That's good stuff. I want to just come back and then I'm gonna ask you another question and just kind of piggyback on that orphan piece. So the reason— that's powerful because at the end of the day Jesus did say he would not leave us as orphans, which means we always have the presence of the King or the Father with us when we receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost. Which again is precisely why you got people all over the place not following what scripture says, not doing what God is telling them to do, because they do not have the Holy Spirit. Which says to me that the Holy Spirit is the most valuable and most important person on earth.

Yes.

And because he is, instead of people— because this is what is happening in the church today, and then what happens, the world doesn't see the spirituality, the authority, and the power that comes along with having the Holy Ghost. Because the church now— so let's go back to this piece, Apostle. How people actually receive it. So the apostles said, when— after, after they be— even before, uh, Jesus, uh, would impart into them the gift of the Holy Ghost. You quoted the scripture, he said, I'm going to my Father, I'm not going to leave you comfortless, I'm going to send you another comforter, which is the Holy Ghost. I'm going to send you once, uh, Apo Parakletos, one to help. Yeah, then Acts, after the Pentecost, The apostles were preaching the gospel and they were asking people, have you received—

absolutely—

Holy Ghost?

Yes.

Since you believed. So I want to deal with this, Apostle, really quick, because there are some people, Apostle, in the church— and this is doctrine that's being taught from the pulpit— now you and I, we received the baptism of the Holy Ghost after we got saved. Yes, we got on the altar, we tarry. Yes, Father Holy Ghost, until tongues came. Yes, they did in the upper room. Now what's happening in the kingdom, leaders are telling people when they get saved, the moment they get born again, they have the Holy Ghost right at that moment. But the apostles again said, have you received, right, the Holy Ghost since you believe?

Since you believe.

So that means now Calvary and Pentecost are two separate experiences. I gotta go to Calvary and get redeemed of my sin, but I go to Pentecost to get power. So Apostle, talk to us about how important it is to go through the process right, to receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost after you get saved, in prayer, through waiting on him, through— because tarry means to wait. So talk to us about that and about tearing and what that means to you.

Well, in, in order for— it's a, it's a process, it's a structure. You cannot receive the Holy Ghost or the Holy Spirit until you go through the altar.

You gotta get saved.

You, you gotta go through the altar. You gotta get saved. Salvation is the, uh, mechanism by which the Holy Spirit comes.

Yes.

It's not, it's not, you know, something— and then you got to ask. It's not automatic. You don't just, you know, just because, you know— and I, and I, and I reference this because it's important, because we got people now that are speaking in foreign tongues who do not have the fruits of the Spirit. Come on, you, you, you can speak in a tongue, but the question is, do you have the fruits of the Spirit? Because the fruits of the Spirit is the main ingredients of having the Holy Spirit.

Come on.

And so the process of you receiving the baptism of the Holy Ghost, it's not one that is, uh, just because you said you get saved, you got it. You've got to tarry for it. You've got to wait for it like they did in the upper room. And when you get it, you know you got it. Now, what does the Holy Spirit do for you when you get it? It stops you or prevents you or warns you about sinning. The, the Holy Spirit is about truth. The spirit of truth. That's what it is. And I don't care if, if you are a great entertaining preacher, I don't care if you are an apostle or prophet that knows how to entertain people, the Holy Spirit is the one that gives you the boldness and the authority and the truth. Yes, to speak like he gave it to Peter on the day of Pentecost.

Amen.

It enables you to do things that are impossible in the flesh. So we've got a lot of people thinking that, okay, it's automatic. No, it's not automatic. You've got to ask for it and the timing of God, and the timing of God, so that when he gives it to you, it's dwelled in your heart and it won't leave, because it's with us forever. We've got people that are saying they got the Holy Ghost and they never really, really received it, but they're saying they have it because they don't want to look bad. They don't want to look like they're false, you know, let people know that they're not part of the in-crowd. Well, the Holy Spirit is not part of the in-crowd. It is not part of a clique or a club. It is the entity in the earth realm. When you said it, it is so valuable that we need it because the world system now has— and, and we'll be doing some things in this world that is going to require every believer to have the Holy Spirit. Just like they're trying to vaccine everybody, you need to get vaccine with the Holy Spirit.

That's right, that's the truth. That's good stuff. So, so Apostle So let me just say this. When I received the baptism in the Holy Ghost, all right, um, it was— I was 14 years old. I'll never forget this. It was a life-changing experience. I was— no, I was actually 13, and it was in a little church, New Creation Christian Church, where we were—

my—

I was attending with my dad and my family. And, uh, it was a Friday night service, right? The Friday night tarrying service.

Yeah, they don't have those no more.

I was on the altar calling on Jesus, and I remember several times before that I was trying and trying to try, and those mothers would be in my ear. They kept on until I prayed through, spoke in tongues. But all I can remember about that day, Apostle, Because it was a supernatural experience.

Absolutely.

I went to bed. Well, first of all, they had to sit me down because I was so excited, full of joy. I was running all the church speaking in tongues. They sat me down. Through the rest of the service, I was speaking in tongues.

Yes.

They took me to the car, I was still speaking in tongues. I remember going to bed, I was still speaking in tongues. I got up the next morning I was still speaking in tongues. So, so God wanted to make sure with me that I knew without a doubt that I had been filled with the Spirit. So we know, we know tongues is not the most important thing, but it is one of the initial evidences, the baptism of the Holy Ghost. So because you're right, the fruit of the Spirit is important, because it's crazy to speak in tongues and you don't know how to love.

Right.

Also, you can speak with the tongues of men and angels and have not love, it profits you nothing. No, it don't make sense to prophesy and not be able to love or have joy. The Bible said if you don't have love and you prophesy, you as a sounding brass or tinkling cymbal.

Absolutely.

So I think so, the experience, Apostle, of having the Holy Ghost infill you and you begin to speak with tongues and spirit, and then you begin to live it out What I heard you say, just marrying those two ideas, is that the Holy Spirit, man, gives us the power to say no when we're tempted.

Yes.

You know, that's been the greatest value for me, because as humans, temptation is going to come, right?

Absolutely.

Jesus was tempted and tried on all points, yet without sin. But Jesus was a living expression of the Holy Ghost. Because he is a person. Yes, he's not wind, he's not fire. He is a person. He's the person of God that lives in us. So really, the Holy Spirit or the Holy Ghost is Jesus living in us. Yeah, we got power to say no because we know we got the Father on board. So Apostle you know, just, just talk to the people that's listening to us tonight about some instances in your life, man, because I know you've been walking with the Holy Spirit where you've seen his power not just to say no but demonstrated in various areas of your life through your personal testimony, you know, so people will know that this thing is not something that we're just talking about. I mean, it's really real, you know, it's real. We, we have fellowship with the Holy Ghost every single day. He leads our life, he guides our life. So talk to us, man, share with us how the Holy Spirit has been your leader, your God, your comforter, your protector, you know, so people know that he's real.

Listen, I, um, I was saved, um, in a church, Holy Deliverance Pentecostal Church. It was a deliverance church.

Yes, sir.

My pastor is Prophet Rogers the Cure. Um, who have been— when I entered into his church, uh, he had just came out of the mountains, uh, fasting for 40 days. And he had a service on that Sunday morning, and I went to the service that Sunday morning, and the church was packed because he's known for fasting and praying. And to make a long story short, he began to start praying for people. He came out of the pulpit. Mind you now, I'm not saved. And, and here's the testimony for those that have sons and those that have daughters who think that their children won't get saved and won't receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost. I'm telling you, I'm product of that.

Hallelujah!

Because Apostle, when I went to the church that morning I had smoked a joint. I had smoked some—

my Lord, yes, Lord.

I'm in church high off weed, Michael, because that was my thing, you know. Drugs was my thing then. And so he came, he comes out of the pulpit and he comes down the row that I'm sitting in, and he's got about 3 church mothers behind him.

Yes, sir.

They coming And, and I'm sitting there, Apostle, and I know for a fact that the devil talks to people. Absolutely, absolutely. The devil told me, you better get up and get out of here. And when I tried to make a move to get out the door, he was right there. The man of God was right there standing in front of me.

I love it.

And he said, son, stand up. And I stood up, and he looked at me, and he prophesied to me. He said, today is your day of deliverance. Glory to God.

Hallelujah.

He said, today is your day of deliverance.

I love it.

And after that, this is what he said. He looked at me with adamasi, and he said, and you will preach the gospel.

Hallelujah!

I had not even picked up a Bible. I didn't know how to read a Bible. I was loaded, I was high. And he said, bring him out into the— to the walkway. He brought me out into the aisle and he reached up and he laid hands on me.

Yes, sir.

And when he laid hands on me, I hit the floor. Boom! And when I was laying on the floor, I couldn't move. I was paralyzed. I didn't understand what was going on then, but I was up under a Holy Ghost arrest.

Yeah, you were slain.

That's real. That's why it's important to go to a church where the Holy Ghost is reigning. That's where the Holy Ghost is the premier, uh, uh, person in the house. That's important. Yes, sir. Laying there, and I'm slain in the spirit. But again, I can hear the devil, and this is what the devil told me while I was laying on the floor. He said, you not high no more. And in my mind I'm thinking, I know I ain't, it's gone now. When I got up, when I got up, he laid hands on me again and I grabbed the bench and my feet start moving. I didn't know what shouting was then, but I know what shouting is now. My God, my feet started moving and I went off. And I love it. That day things changed for me. And when I got home— this is when I got home, this is no lie, Apostle— when I got home, I touched the doorknob and I was slain in the spirit. I was laid out on my front porch crying. Oh God, speaking in tongues. I understand now that when you get the Holy Spirit, it comes to purge you. Yes, it comes to get some— you, you're gonna have some tears, you're gonna cry, you're gonna speak in tongues because it's authentic. Yeah. And I know now that I was being purged, and I understand the supernatural ability of the Holy Spirit because I was trying to figure it out with my mind. I couldn't understand why this man was going to lay hands on me. I couldn't understand why this man was speaking in tongues. I couldn't understand why the church mothers would have their hands on my belly and getting filled with the Holy Ghost. I, I didn't understand that because my mind was flesh in trying to understand this. And that's what's happening with people today. They're trying to figure it out with their mind, but the Bible said, let this mind that's in Christ be also in you.

Yes, sir.

The only way you can figure out what the Holy Spirit is doing in your life.

Yes.

And so from that day forward, and this was 33 years ago, my God, and I've been preaching ever since. I've been ministering the word of God ever since, in a church, outside the church, in parks, everywhere. I had a zeal for God because the Holy Spirit was pushing me. Yes, there are many occasions where God just intervened in my life. He just came in and stopped, you know, three— a month ago I had three strokes. I was in the hospital, they said I had three strokes. And I didn't feel like I had 3 strokes, but that's the Holy Ghost. The Holy Spirit will cover you. Glory to God.

Yes, yes.

And so I'm healed, I'm delivered, I'm set free by the power of God. And so the Holy Spirit, what does it do for us? It keeps us. He's a keeper. Watch this. And it gives us the ability not to lust after the things of the flesh. Yes, to walk in the Spirit. And I want to challenge all that are watching this tonight, all the people that are tuned in to this Zoom, get the Holy Ghost. You're going to need it because there's some things that's coming in this world that we cannot stop. But if we have the Holy Ghost will be covered. Apostle, the Book of Revelation is coming. Listen, there's not going to be no church, there's not going to be no prayer meetings, there ain't gonna be no revivals, there ain't gonna be no conferences. The Bible said that men will cry out for the rocks to fall upon them. Yes, because it's going to be really, really tough. But with the Holy Ghost, he will lead you and guide you and be your comforter.

Yes, sir.

I've been through some things in my life that only the Holy Ghost was able to bring me out. He was only able to deliver me. And I know now, and I'm grateful for that, just like you are. We didn't do this on our own. What we're doing today, what we're saying on Zoom today, that ain't— this ain't us. This is the Holy Ghost.

Holy Ghost. Yes, Lord. Yes.

And, and so my life has, for 33 years been, uh, uh, geared to whatever the Holy Spirit want me to do. There's some things I wanted to do and I couldn't do them because the Holy Spirit said, no, that's not good for you. And that's the thing, that he will lead you in the spirit of truth. He will let you know what's good for you and what's, what's not good for you. But it's up to you to listen to him. You know, the problem is, is that we're listening A lot of people are listening to false prophets, but they're not listening to the Holy Spirit.

Yes, Lord, that's the power. That's powerful, Apostle. So listen, guys, if you're listening to this now, don't scroll. Please don't go away from this. Matter of fact, I need you to share it with someone because I aim truly tonight— we want to ensure that one, you understand why it's important that you have the Holy Ghost. And we're again, we're just talking about our own personal experiences here. None of this was planned or script. So what you've heard so far is that the Holy Spirit, number one, it's power. It's a, it's a power to say no when we're tempted. It's fruit on our life. It brings us closer to God. It protects us, you know. And I was sitting here thinking about the scripture in Ephesians 5:18, Apostle, that says, be not drunk with wine, right, wherein is excess, but it says be filled with the Spirit. And as I was thinking about that, you know, Paul was talking to these Ephesians who not was necessarily getting drunk with strong drink, they were intoxicated by the world. The Ephesians was a very worldly church. They loved the things of the world. And Paul the Apostle said, listen, you'll never be able to experience the fullness of the kingdom the fullness of God's culture if you're caught up in the world system. He says, I need you to be filled. That word filled, listen guys, is epiknosis in Greek. It means to be thoroughly furnished, to be completely full with everything that pertains to the Spirit. Which means, watch this, if you're a Spirit-filled believer— and I'm gonna give this back to Apostle Lyris Woods, let him elaborate on this— You should— again, like Apostle said, number one, you should have all 9 gifts: love, joy, peace, faith, temperance, long-suffering, gentleness, meekness, kindness. Scripture said against such there is no law. But you should also have the 9 gifts of the Spirit at your disposal, because it's not just— those gifts are not just for preachers. Those gifts are for every baptized believer who's received the baptism in the Holy Spirit. You know, at the end of the day, you don't have to be a prophet to prophesy. You can be a believer to have the gift of prophecy, right? Yeah, word of wisdom, word of knowledge, word of faith, discerning of spirit, tongues, interpretation of tongues. Watch this, the word of faith is one of the gifts of the Spirit too.

Yes.

So you can be a believer, you have access to these gifts. Now I don't— I know Apostle has plenty of testimonies around that. I can't tell you the many times that prophecy has been such an important piece of my life that— I mean, it's an important piece of my life every day because even as a husband, I'm a priest to my wife, which is in my family, which means I'm an intercessor. So I spend time praying for my family, but you can't pray for your family and not leave the presence of God as a prophet. So even if you ain't a prophet in the church, you need to be a prophet in your house, that you praying for your family. God speaks to you about what he's saying for the family, and you prophesy to your family based on your experience and your time with God. So, and that's not because I'm a prophet or an apostle, that's because I'm a believer who's received the baptism in the Holy Ghost. And I want to tell every person listening to me He'll lead you and guide you to all truth. He'll teach you all things. Most people remain ignorant because they ain't listening to the teacher. So, Apostle, I'm gonna let you have that.

Go ahead. You know, he said, I'll bring all things back to your remembrance.

He did.

You know, it's, it's, it's, it's important because we've got many people who are starting these groups, uh, intercessors, intercessors and all. But the greatest intercessor is the Holy Spirit.

Yes, God.

And, and all of these people don't know— that don't have the Holy Spirit trying to be intercessors by other people. It's not working because the Holy Spirit is not present. Listen, the Holy Spirit is powerful. It is, it is the most powerful entity, person on the earth, as you have said, Apostle. Listen, there's 3 things that the Holy Spirit has done. The Holy Spirit was around when the earth was being formed. Come on, the Holy Spirit was with Jesus and raised him from the dead and walked the earth.

Yes. Yes, Lord.

And then finally, the Holy Spirit was the birther of the church.

Yes, yes.

How can you not have the Holy Spirit and say you in the church and not have the birther in you? Come on, it's, it's, it's, it's ludicrous.

It is.

We are facing a time where people, not only adults, rejecting the Holy Spirit. Because one of the things I, I know, I know this, and I know this for many, many years When you got the Holy Spirit, nothing else can fit. And what I mean by that, nothing negative can fit, nothing that's detrimental. When you got the Holy Spirit, it protects you. It's a protector.

Yeah.

And, and we have to move into a, a dispensation now, right now, because there are demonic portals that are open for our children. We've got to teach our children that they need the Holy Spirit and tell them why they need it. Michael, you cannot leave this earth and leave our children comfortless. We, we can't do it. We've got to make sure that we are on the path of the Holy Spirit, which was designed just for us. And, and it's not only just, uh, enough for us to be believers. We've got to change our mindset now, Apostle. To become disciples. Yes, disciples. And a lot of people don't want to be discipled because they don't want to submit. Come on, has been a cuss word in the church. People that have, uh, uh, uh, gifted themselves as apostles and prophets and they don't have the Holy Spirit, and then they won't submit. They won't submit to any kind of authority and leadership that God has placed in the earth and who is seasoned enough to tell you what you need and give you advice and put you on the right path. And so, talk about facing the detriment and the derelict of not receiving the Holy Spirit within our clergy. Just because one preacher don't have it don't mean you ain't supposed to have it. You got to have it. You, you cannot mount a pulpit and preach the gospel. Also, you talk about the Holy Spirit.

Yeah, and so many are doing it, Apostle. That, that's, that's so powerful because what is happening now, men are— you said a whole lot there, man. I was just absorbing it. Uh, men are building kingdoms, literally, Apostle, to themselves. Yeah, and instead of influencing the people to follow the patterns of things in heaven, the pattern of things in the kingdom, yeah, they're influencing people to follow their ways. And it's primarily because they don't have the Holy Ghost, because the Holy Ghost is a convictor too, Apostle. Yeah, he will convict you or you're wrong. You know, hey buddy, you're out of line, you need to get back in place. But these people, some of these people couldn't have it, Apostle, especially, you know, when we start talking about things like people saying, okay, because they want numbers, they'll say don't say the word sin in your church, right? These church growth conferences now teaching people don't talk about sin in the pulpit, that's not important. They're saying don't talk about hell, that's not important. Please don't mention sex and homosexuality, yes, lesbianism, because if you do this, your church won't grow. But the reality is, if we are filled with the Holy Spirit and, and we're leaders, these things are necessary to present the culture of the kingdom to the world.

Absolutely.

The reason we can't present the culture of the kingdom to the world is because we want to get people, but we don't want to tell them what God say tell them because we're trying to get numbers. But I'm just convinced, man, that there's a remnant of people Uh, like you and I, there's plenty of others who just are gonna uphold and defend the faith that we have. Yeah, make sure that, you know, not only do people, uh, have knowledge of the Holy Spirit and who he is, but they actually have encounters with him through the type of ministry— not church as usual, but when they come into our houses of worship or interact with us in any way, that they literally, for real, Apostle, experience the power of the Holy Ghost and they have an encounter with heaven. Because that's really what the Holy Ghost is. Yes, he's a representative of heaven. He, he brings heaven to earth and he brings to bring— he's the governor of the earth. A governor in kingdom goes into another territory and represents that kingdom and make sure that that new territory duplicates every single thing that the king wants. So the Holy Spirit is in the earth to duplicate what the heavenly king wants to see.

Absolutely.

We start trying to do it ourselves, man, we are, we are really living beneath our privilege, Apostle. So here's the last thing, and then we're gonna get out of here. I sure appreciate you being here, Apostle. When it comes down to finances, Apostle, and resources and economics in the kingdom and in our walk with God, how important— because again, it's not just speaking in tongues and what we have going on inside of the church— how important is having the Holy Spirit with us when we're building our dreams and visions, when we're creating finances? Trying to do the things that God wants us to do on the earth? How important is he in that?

Well, you know, a lot of people have missed the mark. Uh, the word missing that mark means hamatea. They have missed the mark, uh, because the Holy Spirit— and we have to realize this— the Holy Spirit gives us strategy. And he is a strategist. Yes, he gives us the strategy to generate, uh, finances, to generate wealth. Yes, the scripture says, remember the Lord thy God who gives you power. Come on, to get wealth. What is that power? That Holy Ghost power. There's only one power in the earth that will allow you to get wealth, and that's the Holy Spirit.

Yes, sir.

And the reason why, because men are trying to do it on their own without the Holy Spirit giving them a strategy. There is no easy money. First of all, you got to have the Holy Ghost. Number two, you got to have a strategy from the Holy Ghost. Number three, you got to put the work in.

Absolutely.

Yeah, that's just how it is.

Yes, sir.

You got to put the work in. You've got to have a mind that the Holy Spirit will lead you and guide you to the place where your wealth is. The Bible says that the wealth of the wicked is laid up for the righteous.

Yes.

And the righteous have the baptism of the Holy Spirit. But you ain't gonna get the wealth from the wicked without being righteous and having the Holy Spirit. You can talk the talk, walk the walk, but if you do not have that power within you to generate that wealth, the strategy of the Holy Spirit to walk me— and, and the Holy Spirit walk before you, I mean, through walls, it'll walk through doors.

Yes, sir.

Kings behave and hand you whatever it is that you want. And we have to understand that that is the key. Those are the keys. The Holy Spirit gives you a strategy. You cannot do it with your own fleshly mind. Once you come on this side as a believer, you have to adhere to the rules and the regulations of the kingdom of God. If you try to divert from the rules and the regulations of the kingdom of God— because it's a kingdom now, it has rules, it has regulations. Absolutely.

Absolutely.

You try to divert from that, you're not going to experience the wealth that God has for you. The strategy of the Holy Spirit is to make you wealthy.

Yes.

John 10:10, and the second clause, the B clause of that, says, I come that you may have life and have it more abundantly.

Come on.

That's what it is. That's what's up. Abundant life. To obtain abundant life, God will do some things for you when you adhere to the Holy Spirit and, and adhere to the rules and the regulations of the kingdom of God. Because at the end of the day— watch this, Apostle— at the end of the day, we're ambassadors to the kingdom of God.

Come on.

And if you know anything about an ambassador to a country, that country that they are, uh, from and sent to— the country that they're from has to take care of them, make sure they got a car, make sure they got food.

Yes, sir.

Make sure they got a place to stay, make sure their families are taken care of. That's just like the kingdom of God. We are ambassadors, so he has to make sure— God has to make sure that we are taken care of here in the earth realm. The problem is that we've got people, like you said, trying to build their own kingdoms and go outside of the kingdom of God. It's not going to work. And I want to say this to those that are listening: you cannot have the blessings and the miracles and the signs and wonders of God and not have him as the Holy Spirit.

Come on, that's good. That's good, Apostle. Listen, our time is about gone, y'all, but I want to just share something really quick along those lines as well. Apostle, you, you opened up something in my heart when you start— when you went to Deuteronomy 8:18. That's one of my favorite scriptures. You know, that scripture is so powerful. Now let's go to Acts. The powerful thing about this, in Acts 1:8, all right, the Bible says you shall receive power Power. After the Holy Ghost has come upon you, yeah, after you receive the Holy Ghost, you get power. That word power is dunamis in Greek. Yes, which is inherent ability. And you talked about the work. So we got— the Holy Ghost gives us power, inherent ability, the ability of God to move as God will in any realm. So then we go back to doing the ramen, not It's 8:18, but we still got the 1 and 8 in there. It's amazing that this is connected. And it says, but you shall remember— you quoted this, Apostle.

Yeah.

The Lord your God, and it is he that gives you power.

Yeah.

To get what?

Wealth. What did they—

he said the Holy Ghost comes upon you, you shall receive power. So now he's telling you Why? You got the power.

Exactly.

You got the power to get well so you can establish his covenant, not ours.

Yes, absolutely.

He has a covenant agreement with humans on earth to advance his kingdom and prosper us. Listen, this is about us being in position to manifest the power of the kingdom in every way, in every space. And listen, we gotta have wealth and finances to do it.

We have to, we have to.

We can't establish nothing without wealth.

Without—

but we gotta start in the right place and get the Holy Ghost. We can't build it through carnality like you just said.

No, no, no, no.

Strength. We need that power.

Yes.

To get wealth and use that ability, go to work. The only place wealth come before work work. Watch this, it's in the dictionary. Wealth is W-E, work is W-O. So at the end of the day, you're gonna have to work to get wealth. Yeah, that's a part of, of who we are and who God has made us. Listen guys, if you're here, I'm gonna let Apostle pray for you in a moment. I'm so glad you joined us tonight. You know, I want to have talks with Apostle Howard and other apostles like this on an ongoing basis because I believe, you know, there's so much error in the body of Christ around the basic things like the Holy Ghost, you know. And so this is a talk— I, I wanted Apostle to have this conversation with me because I know he's filled with the Holy Ghost. I've seen the fruit of his life. And again, what you've heard us share with you is things that we have encountered, we have experienced. We're not making this up. We We have literally experienced the baptism of the Holy Ghost in our life. So if you're not born again, you know, that it starts right there. You need to repent of your sin.

And open your heart. We talked about it earlier. You got to stop by Calvary first. You got to go to the altar first and get redeemed. Let the blood of Jesus wash you.

So the Holy Spirit can come in and take residence in your life. And then you gotta Receive him. It's a gift. So I'm going to ask Apostle to pray for you right now. We're going to trust God. Those of you that are watching us that have not received the baptism of the Holy Ghost, you know, although I got it on the altar on a Friday night calling on Jesus, that's not the only way you can receive it. The Bible said the apostles laid hands on them and they received the Holy Ghost. There were many that were prayed for from afar that received baptism in the Holy Spirit. Listen, as we're here on this Zoom tonight on the day of Pentecost, what a— no better day for you to receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Listen, you can receive the Holy Ghost right there wherever you're watching us, in your car, in your house. And as Apostle prays, I want you to open your heart and receive this gift. Glory to the name of God that God wants to give you. It's free. All you gotta do is open your heart and receive it. You know, if I had a check for a million dollars and I was getting ready to give it to you You put your hands out, you receive it, you run straight to the bank to make sure it's good. Listen, it's no different than receiving the Holy Ghost. Apostle, I want you to look right into your camera, man, and pray for everybody that's watching us. So pray for us tonight, Apostle, and as we go before God and ask God to bless these people with this precious gift, I want to challenge those that are watching me tonight and watching Apostle Woods that if you receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost tonight, even you will be a representative to your family, to your children. Yes, this is not just for you. It will spill over into your generations. Someone has to get it started in your family.

Someone has to get— take the initiative to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Let it be you tonight. Let it be you. That is the forerunner of having the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
