I'm excited to come into your homes and to your phone, to your tablet, wherever you may be listening or watching, whether you listen to the podcast or watching this on a live stream. Either way, I'm excited to talk to you today. You know, one of the most valuable things the believer can have is the anointing. And so many times that word is used very loosely in the church, is very— is used very loosely among religious people, and really don't know what the anointing is. Well, today I want to share a message entitled Anointed for the Now. Can you say that with me? Anointed for the now. Say it one more time. Anointed for the now. I want to challenge you, if you're watching this live, to go ahead and share this with a friend, with a family member. Share it into someone's inbox. Share it on your timeline because this is— I'm going to release some information this week that's going to be vitally important to you understanding how to move in the anointing in times like these. Praise the Name of God. Say it one more time. Anointed for the now. And if you're listening to the podcast, you can also share this podcast with others and say, hey, you need to hear these teachings. There's an anointing on them that's going to destroy yokes, remove burdens, and bring liberation in your life. Hallelujah. So here's what I understand. We got a lot happening again in the world right now. COVID-19, we got hatred, we got people dying in the streets. Every other week it seems like an African-American male publicly is losing his life to someone who is ignorant and hateful in the other race. Okay, so we— and then on top of that, we got economic crisis, we got other diseases like cancer, we got heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes. People are are going through it, man. What's the solution? What's— how do we deal with this? I'm glad you asked. The way we deal with this, we need the anointing. We need anointed people that's going to rise up and not just act like they're anointed, but be anointed. And because the anointing is what destroys yokes. Here's what I want you to get. First off, we can't fight a World War III with World War II weapons. I'll say that again. We cannot fight a World War III with World War II weapons. The weapons of World War II will be obsolete in a World War III. So we would need more firepower, more nuclear bombs to even contend with our enemies. In the natural, if this nation went to war and we tried to use World War II tactics, we would lose immediately. So even in the natural, the military understands that you cannot use inadated, antiquated ways to fight or ensue a new battle. So here's what I want you to get today. Neither can you fight a spiritual war with antiquated, outdated weaponry. You cannot fight the enemy of the day with a stale anointing. Anointing that, hallelujah, that you receive, glory to God, you still operating in a duplication of something you have walked in in the past. And many of you listening to me, you need an upgrade in the anointing that's on your life. You know, you've lost power. You know, there's a time in your life— I'm talking to somebody right now— where you lay hands on the sick and they actually recover. Hallelujah. There was a time, glory to God, that you, praise God, could preach with power and people actually got saved. There was a time in some of your lives, glory to God, where you were so anointed we could see the fire before you came in the door. Good. That's how much anointing that was on your life. Glory to God. But now, Seemingly we've gotten distracted. We've gotten thrown off path. And we've become lazy because we won't seek the Lord so that the anointing of God— we won't— and watch this— and we certainly don't want to pay the price so the anointing of God can ooze out of our lives. Listen, let me say something about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. First of all, He wants you to be anointed. Somebody said, Woods, when you gonna get in the scripture? I'm going there. He wants you to be anointed. He wants you to be anointed. Think about this. When Jesus came to this planet, Jesus— oh God, here we go— he brought his planet or his world with him. When the Son came into this world He brought his world with him. He brought the kingdom with him. The kingdom was in him. The kingdom was a part of how he moved. He was the essence of the kingdom, and he was the king of the kingdom. He wasn't waiting for this world to give him anything. He showed up with everything he needed to do what he was called to do. Can I tell you something? You have in you everything you need to do what God has called you to do. Oh, y'all not liking this and you're not hearing me. I'll say it one more time. You have everything in you you need to do what God has called you to do. That's good stuff. That's good news. You got everything in you you need to do what God has called you to do. You have to borrow nothing from anybody. It's already there. You just am not taking the time to tap in the realm of the Spirit and take an introspective of the inventory that you're walking with. Do you realize you're God's delivery system in the earth? There's something unique, there's something special that you have to deliver in this earth that only you can deliver. Oh my God. Touch yourself and say, "I'm anointed for the now." I want you to get that in your spirit because we're going to be talking about this because that's what this world needs right now. It needs a fresh anointing. Let's go to 1 John 2:27 and let's read the Bible, because I want you to see that the same world that Jesus brought with him, it lives in us by the children of God through the Holy Spirit. I'm gonna say that again. The same kingdom that Jesus brought with him lives in us as the children of God —through Jesus Christ. Hallelujah. So the Kingdom lived in Jesus. It also lives in you. See, Jesus is just a perfect example how every one of us as believers should be living. He's a perfect example in every way of how every one of us as his children through the Holy Spirit should be living. Okay. So let's read 1 John 2:27. Here's what the Bible says. It says, but the anointing— Touch yourself and say, I'm anointed. Hallelujah. Say it again. Say, I am anointed. Glory to God. He said, but the anointing which you have received of him abideth in you, and you need not that any man— oh, here we go— teach you, but as the same anointing teaches you of all things and is truth and is no lie, even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. Now let me, let me, let's, let's unpack this, okay? Because really what I want to get at, when you're anointed, you can't live without the anointing. That's what the scriptures basically say. When you are anointed, you cannot ascribe to anything that's not anointed. When you have the anointing of God on your life, for real. It is impossible for you to make inscription to teachers, to churches, to people who lack the anointing, because you understand you need the anointing to continue forward. Watch this, it says, watch this, but the anointing which you have received of him. So, all right, so the anointing doesn't come from man. You cannot be— a man can pray for you, he can anoint you with oil. The scripture tells us to do that, but the anointing itself, it comes from God. We receive it from God. Man cannot impart anointing to you. You have to receive it. It comes from God. You have to open your spirit and receive this from God through the Holy Spirit. And it says It abides in you. This anointing is not some one-time thing. You ain't anointed just when you do a church service. Listen, if you're really anointed as a preacher or teacher, you should be anointed— oh my God— esh kedah basuro kuskitaya, every time you preach and teach, every single time, because it lives in you, and it should come upon you when you do your work. You should never suppress that or grieve this anointing. Where it cannot flow. And it says, you— and you need not any man to teach you. What the apostle is saying here, Apostle John, he's not saying you don't need a leader, a preacher, a teacher, because some people took this and ran with, oh, I got the anointing, I don't need man. That— this— that's a lie. What this is saying is you don't need the arm of flesh or someone that's moving merely in their intellect. You, you don't need man to teach you his ways. You need someone that's anointed to teach you. Now, that doesn't mean— watch this— you don't need hermeneutical or homiletical value when you go, or expository value when you go to expose the text in teaching the people. See, what the anointing is going to do through study— study to show yourself approved— it's make you homiletically, hermeneutically— oh my God— sound. It's going to make you be able to expose the text in a way through revelation that makes sense. You're not going to be out here babbling some dumb crap that cannot be backed up by the word. It's so much error and erroneous teaching out here right now that has no anointing on it. It appears deep, but it cannot be anointed if it ain't rooted in the word. The anointing comes out of God, and the Holy Spirit teaches through the anointing. Oh my God, when we yield ourselves, we allow— and I believe God, even as I teach, every time I open my mouth, I ask God, please hide my flesh, don't allow my flesh to be seen. Holy Spirit, teach through me and say what you have to say. Oh my God. Watch this. You ain't got to go on YouTube to listen to preachers preach and get your message from them and then go to church and preach it. What you can do is pray and align yourself with the anointing that lives in you and ask God, what do the people need to hear from me on this assignment? And then you disseminate what those people need to hear. God knows you don't need a preacher that's got his iPad open and all he's got is a book that he's been reading and he's teaching you out of the book. Come on, man, that, that's— listen, there's so many people that do that. I know that because I'm well read. So I mean, I've read thousands of books in my life and I've read the Bible over and over, glory to God. But at the end of the day, I could tell when I'm listening to my teacher, they're teaching straight out of a book, whether it's history, spiritual, financial. I've read all kind of books. So at the end of the day Instead of doing that, what God will do, if you get in the spirit, he'll be able to take the stuff you— I'm not saying don't read. I'm saying allow God to give you something unique out of your study and give you your own, as my son Brandon Cornelia says, your own firebrand that is born out of the anointing. Thank you for that, Apostle Brandon Cornelia. Yeah, you need your own firebrand that is born out of the anointing of God. Are y'all hearing this? Are y'all hearing this? Are y'all with me? I'm— my time almost gone, I gotta stop. But I want you to understand, when you're anointed, you can't live without the anointing. I'll pick this up Monday, but you can't live without the anointing of God. Hallelujah! That was just the appetizer, that was just introduction. Hallelujah. Let's get into this. Let's get into the first part of this meal. I'm gonna serve this like tapas. You ever go to a tapas restaurant? They serve things in small portions. So over the next couple of days, I'm gonna be serving small portions. So I just gave you the appetizer and the introduction. So now let me give you the soup and the salad. I'm gonna serve this in tapas, guys. Tapas, small portions. I'm gonna serve it in sections. So now we're getting ready to get the soup and salad part of the meal. All right, so here's what we got to understand. The world needs the anointing. The world cannot exist without— this world right now needs the anointing present to solve its problems. Okay, while the gentleman— I watched the gentleman on the video get killed. I posted some things that I was feeling, and I was feeling those things, okay. But I understand I cannot revolt or retaliate on my flesh because that's not the way God would do things. So my prayer to God is, how do we address this? How do we take this racism issue by the neck? How do we attack this problem head-on? Hallelujah. And the Lord said, "Son, the world needs the anointing." He said to me, He said, "You remember I told you in the Book of Isaiah, it's because of the anointing that the burden is removed and the yoke is destroyed." So God says, "I need the anointing to manifest in this world in a very huge way so that people," oraba sandeka, I feel you, God. Thank you, Jesus. Will understand that I'm still God and that I still have the ability to solve their woes and their problems. God, the anointing can break down hatred and racism. The anointing can heal COVID-19. It can literally drive COVID-19 out of the world. So right now, the anointing has the ability to fix our financial woes. I'm telling you, it does. We need some anointed people in the financial arena. We need anointed people in our entertainment. We need anointed journalists. We need anointed people in the military. We need anointed people in the White House. We don't just need anointed people in the church. And those of you that are in church with your super anointed self that never plant your anointing in any area of society, something's wrong with that. We'll never reap a harvest in an area of culture where we have not sown the anointing. See, there's something you're anointed to do outside the church, and you need to plant that in that place, in the marketplace or in the mill, so that we can reap a harvest in that area. There's some of you listening to me right now, you got an anointing for medicine. Some of you got an anointing for science. Some of you got an anointing for politics. Some of you listening to me got an anointing on you to act. And that don't mean you need to go there and start quoting scriptures all the time and all day. See, when you're anointed, the anointing is on everything you— oh my God, the anointing is on everything you do. Lord have mercy. I got to get out of here. Oh my God, I gotta go, I gotta go. This world needs the anointing. I'm just gonna give you this. Glory to God, because when we start thinking about world leadership, the WHO, the World Health Organization, NATO, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, the BRICS nations, which is Great Britain, Russia, Indonesia, and China. At the end of the day, when we think about the economy that these organizations and these nations create in the— oh my God, up into the high trillions of dollars, the economic shifts that they cause in the world. And watch this, the decisions they make to influence the world based on their meetings and their terms out of their flesh without the anointing. All of them, most of these organizations are moving without the anointing, and the world needs anointing. The BRICS nations need anointed leaders. Hallelujah! NATO needs anointed leaders. The World Health Organization needs anointed leaders. The United Nations needs anointed leaders. Our states need anointed governors and mayors. Our cities need anointed mayors. Our states need anointed governors. Are you hearing me? We cannot progress without the anointing. And when I look at the church, I understand now that the anointing starts with the head. And I'm closing with this: the anointing starts with the head. I, I read in the scriptures that the anointing flows from the top of Aaron's beard down to the bottom. It flows from the head down. It doesn't flow from the bottom up. So the heads of the church which, watch this, are the apostles and prophets. The Bible declares that he gave first apostles, secondarily prophets. He also said that the church will be built on the foundation of apostles and prophets, with Jesus Christ being the chief. Oh, so Jesus really, he's the only chief. For you chief apostles out there, there's no such thing, okay? Jesus is the chief cornerstone. If you're an apostle, you're an apostle, and you have governmental authority in whatever arena God has given you. No need to call yourself chief or the most high potentate. Glory to God. It don't make you no more anointed because you attach all of that on your name. Matter of fact, I'd much rather you not even call me Apostle and just call me Mike Woods, because at the end of the day, I'm gonna do the work and the anointing of the office is going to patrol through everything I do. I'd rather see your fruit than your title. Hallelujah, hallelujah. I'd rather see your fruit than your title. I'm gonna say that one more time because it's the truth. Anyhow, I'd rather see your fruit than your title. Ah, glory! I gotta quit. I'm done. I'm done. Look, because at the end of the day, the apostles and prophets, those who are us who are authentic and rare, we got to align ourselves as here. We got to come together. We got to talk about how to move this nation forward. We got to talk about how to move the church forward. We got to talk about how to get back to the things that God has called us to do. Hallelujah! We got to come together. With that said, I'm done. Y'all join me again Monday. I'm gonna keep teaching this. We talk about being anointed for the now. Well, amen, amen, and amen. I pray that that word blessed your life. As it blessed me as I was studying it. Listen guys, you know the Bible says the husbandman should be first partaker of the fruit. It's a bad preacher or teacher that don't get blessed and eat when God is ministering to them so that he can minister to you. And listen, it's really simple. God wants us to be anointed for the now, period. So make sure you tune in, uh, on the next session so you can get the rest of this, because guess what? We're not finished. All kind of demonic forces are throwing themselves against the agenda of God, and it's praying time. We gotta pray until we shake the place according to Acts chapter 4. And so I need you, I'm calling a thousand intercessors to join me Monday through Friday at 5:00 AM, AM for prayer. Set your alarm clocks, get up early, and let's rise early, and let's seek the face of God, and let's watch God shake this earth and bring change into our land. So every morning, 5 AM, let's pray. I need 1,000 intercessors to join me Monday through Friday at 5 AM as we bombard Heaven and shake the place. Now, secondly, I want to invite you Praise God. Some of you listening to me right now actually have been infected with COVID-19. Listen, I'm a witness. You don't have to fear. You don't have to be afraid. God can heal. On May 11th, I was diagnosed with this thing. And let me tell you something. God healed my body. Today is May 28th. I am healed. I have no symptoms. I am free in the name of Jesus. I never needed a ventilator. I never had a fever. None of that. Glory to God. So I'm thankful to God for his hand of healing. So you have to choose to live and make sure you're not going to die because the hand of God is on your life. And we're going to pray for you right now. And many of you are angry with what you're seeing in the media. I was angry at these articles ordeal. But I want to pray for peace in your mind, joy in your soul. Hallelujah! And that God will give us wise strategies to minister to this problem. Let us pray. Father, in Jesus' name, I thank you today for every person that listened to this program, and I decree and declare, God, that your word has landed on the good ground of every heart and every listener. I thank you, God, that they will will reap this word in due season if they faint not. I decree and declare that every person under the sound of my voice now walks in the anointing and the anointing abides in them as they have received you in the mighty name of Jesus. I decree and declare, God, that they have an anointing on their life to remove burdens, destroy yokes, to cast out devils, to shift systems, to shift mindsets, to change structures. I declare it now in the mighty name of Jesus. I thank you for the anointed entrepreneurs under the sound of my voice that are rising in business. I thank you for the anointed entertainers that are rising in entertainment. I thank you for the anointed doctors and dentists. I thank you for the anointed educators. I decree and declare that the anointing is being released in every sector of life. I thank you now for the anointed policemen. Oh God, who serve according to your will. I thank you for anointed politicians who listen to your voice, God. And I praise you for that now. In Jesus' mighty name. Amen. And thanks be to God. Hallelujah. Well, God bless your hearts. Hallelujah! I feel God. I, I hope you feel him right where you are. Listen, he has heard us. He has heard us. Glory be to God. And I'm thankful that he has heard our prayers today, guys. Praise God for that. Listen, I'm going. I'm gonna give you your time back. But I want to say to you, if, if God wasn't real, I would have left the church a long time ago. I got saved when I was just 13 years old, and I've been going ever since. I'm 50 now. That's 37 years of serving God. I want to pray with you that you will receive Jesus Christ into your life. Listen, you can know him. He's a real God that will get involved with your issues, that will help you, but you gotta open up and receive it. So if you're not born again, if your business is not straight with God and you've never repented of your sin, and you said, Michael Lyris Woods, I want to repent of my sins today, I'm going to pray for you. Just stretch your hands toward your phone, your tablet, your TV, wherever you're watching your computer and let us pray. Say this with me. Say, Heavenly Father, come on, say it. Say, Heavenly Father, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, say, I confess my sins and I believe that Jesus Christ, he died and he rose again. Say, Lord, Lord, I repent of my sin. Say, I open my heart and I ask you, come into my life, abide in me, live in me. Say, Lord, fill me with the Holy Spirit. Say, I declare today, I am I am saved in Jesus' name.
