I want to encourage every person that's live with us tonight to make sure you're in the building on Friday night. That is the kickoff service for our Abundance Weekend. Apostle Richardson will be preaching. He's coming all the way from Meridian, Mississippi. Listen, he's a man of God. That operates in power, authority, integrity. He's a leader to leaders, and I'm super excited to have him. I've known him for a long time, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to reconnect with him. And I know he's carrying something for our region. So listen, I need all of you in Atlanta, Georgia region, and if you feel like driving from Alabama or Mississippi, wherever you're coming from, You need to come and be in the building on Friday night. It's going to be phenomenal. Apostle is, uh, of course, an apostle in the Lord's church for sure, and he indeed, glory to the name of God, is a leader to leaders. And we just give God praise for who he is in the kingdom. He's an entrepreneur, he's a family man, he has a beautiful family. His wife is on here right now. And, uh, I know that if you show up, glory to the name of God, your life will never ever be the same again. We want to welcome everybody that's joining us. God bless you, Apostle Asia. Good to see you, man. Did we not, Apostle Asia, have some good church on this morning? God superimposed himself on us in a very strong, powerful way. Glory to the name of God. The Apostle just came in. Praise God. So we're gonna jump right in this. We're not going to delay this. Again, this man of God, glory to God, is, uh, he is very unique, very authentic. He is one that I know God has caused to be a gatekeeper in the region called Mississippi. And that's not gatekeeping in the wrong way. He is a spiritual principality. He is an apostle in the Lord's church. And principality is not a bad word. You have evil principalities, but apostles are God's princes in the heavenly palaces that control the traffic in regions. So Apostle Richardson is definitely called to do that in a very profound way in Mississippi. So I don't want to waste any time. I'm gonna go ahead and add him to the stage. Apostle, can you hear me?
I see you, Dr. Woods, but I can't hear you.
You can't hear me?
I think it's on my end. Give me a minute.
So yes, family, so please go ahead and share. Again, we have 900 people watching us now. Make sure you go ahead and share this. Glory to God, this conversation tonight is gonna be— can you hear me, sir?
I hear you now, sir.
Yes, Apostle, man, let me start right here, man. I have missed you, sir, man. We have not talked, uh, we, we've talked on Facebook and on social media, but we haven't been in each other's presence in years, man.
It's been quite some time.
It's been some time. When I was there in Mississippi, I would come over and preach for you. You would come down and preach for us. And man, I just always knew that God had a special connection with us. But I'm grateful for this time that God gives us an opportunity to reconcile and reconnect, man. I've been watching all of the amazing things that you're doing. And I'm excited that you're going to be with us this weekend. So how have you been?
I've been great. Uh, of course, God is always taking us through, uh, seasons of, uh, change. Change is— it's, uh, connected to our growth. And, uh, we've just been allowing God to just move us from, uh, from place to place and giving us trying to allow him to give us insight as to where he's taking the body and, uh, what part we play in that. And, uh, it's been, uh, it's been a, uh, of course it's been a very, um, uh, exciting journey with the Lord, uh, and then at times he take you through certain things that, uh, you wonder, why am I going through it? But it's all for our good, and I just thank God. I've been I've been here, Pastor Woods, at the same church. I just celebrated 28 years.
My God.
Um, here in Merida, Mississippi. And, uh, uh, for me, that's quite a feat. Uh, I remember when I first started, I didn't have real clue as to exactly what God wanted me to do or how long I would last. So I'm excited the fact that he's kept me here these 28 years. And, uh, I'm still excited, man. I'm excited about the next season. I'm excited about what he's going to do next, and I'm very much excited about the role that I believe he's going to allow me to play, uh, in the next season.
Yes, sir, I'm excited with you, Apostle. That's good stuff, man. Like I said, I've been watching some of the amazing things you've been doing. Uh, your heart for leaders is phenomenal, and, um I'm grateful, you know, just to watch that journey, man. It's been, it's been awesome. That's good stuff. So family, tonight, you know, we, we have a general, a living general that's with us, and I believe that, you know, it's not an accident that he's going to share in abundance because the reality is he has lived this stuff. He's been an awesome apostle. He's been— he's an awesome entrepreneur, and he— I believe he has something to say to us. So Apostle, and this is my first question for you tonight, I just want to get into this, man.
Yes, sir.
So when we say an abundant kingdom life, what are we truly talking about from an apostolic standpoint? Not culturally, not emotionally, but governmentally, from the— from an apostolic standpoint. We start talking about kingdom living and operating in abundance What are we really talking about when we say that?
Oh, great question. First of all, we're talking about something that can only be accessed—
come on—
through the hand of God.
Yes, sir.
Now, now, in the world, there's a whole lot of, uh, things you can do to become what man call abundant living or wealth or prosperous. But for a believer, for a kingdom believer, there is no abundance outside of— come on— God in your life. Because you, you can get a lot of stuff, and the Bible said you get all this stuff and lose your soul.
Yes, you can.
Yes, he says it's no profit.
No profit.
There's no abundance there. That's, that's a— there's no profit.
Come on. Yes, sir.
First of all, we're talking about something that can only be accessed through God.
Yes, sir.
Now, when you talk about abundance, you're actually talking about a fulfilled life. Now, I'm gonna give you three. I'm gonna give you abundance, I'm gonna give you prosperity, I'm gonna give you wealth, because these are not the same thing. That they're all connected, but they're not the same thing.
You're right, sir.
So when we talk about abundance, we're talking about a fulfilled life. And what makes it abundant is it overflows into other lives.
Yes, come on.
That could be your— that could be your ministry, that could be your teachings, that could be your business, that could be your church. Anytime God gives you something and then it begins to affect other people, yes, it has become abundant. It's, it's really not abundant until it's fulfilled to overflow. Come on, if it ain't spilling, if it ain't spilling, yes sir, it's not abundant yet. It may be headed that way, but it's got to spill. Yes sir, if there's no spillage, then abundance has not shown up. Come on. Number 2, when you talk about abundance, you're talking about plenty.
Yes.
Uh, I like to say more than enough for just yourself.
Yes, Lord.
That makes it abundant. Uh, you now have a large quantity, and because you have a large quantity, you can share, you can sow, you can give. That's the first step in recognizing abundant life, that that's available Yes, Lord. Through our relationship with Jesus Christ.
Yes.
All right, now number 2, when you talk about abundance, uh, the, the next step in that is prosperity.
Yes, come on.
Has to do with you become successful.
Yes.
Uh, wealthy.
Yes.
Uh, I, I need to define wealth because wealth is under that umbrella of prosperity. Wealth is a stage in abundance and prosperity where one becomes rich.
That's it. Come on, come on.
So, so you're going from— you're going from abundance to prosperity, which is successful. You become wealthy and flourishing. Then the next stage, uh, wealth is a stage in abundance and prosperity where you, you, you now are rich. Yes, you now have an abundance of wealthy possessions, and that includes money.
Yes, sir. Come on.
All right, so, so this is what we're talking about. We're talking about that God did not just save us. Come on.
To—
for us to stay in the same condition. He, he offered us a better life.
Yes, Lord.
He offered us things he could do for us that we could not do for ourselves. Now, that's not all money, but it does include, uh, money.
Yes.
Uh, it includes your health. It, it includes peace of mind in a season we're in right now when look like everything is in turmoil.
Yes.
Uh, it includes, uh, generational wealth, which you have enough to pass on to your children and your children's children so that they don't have to start from the same weighty or insignificant spot that you started from.
Come on, Apostle.
All of this is available, uh, through Christ Jesus. And it is part of the package. Yes, he offers up— he offers us deliverance from sin, deliverance in the area of sickness, or what you would call disease.
Disease, yes.
And also, uh, economically, or what you would say materially, all of these are things that can be accessed through Jesus Christ. Now let me give— let me give one caveat, because this is where a lot of the body misses this. Everybody is not guaranteed the same level of wealth.
Come on.
Because God proportions your wealth in proportion to your call, what you need to affect. So if you— if, if Uh, now that doesn't mean you don't prosper, mean you don't wealth. But what we get in trouble is everybody thinks that everybody's not gonna reach wealthy. Some people, all you need to accomplish what God called you to accomplish is prosperity. Come on. Some, all you need is abundance. Uh, if you read the story when God gave out the talents, and I preached a sermon called, called, called God is a Businessman. He, he takes these, he takes these talents. He give, he give one, one. He gives another, uh, I believe, uh, two or three. Then he gives one, five. Wow. And then he leaves them with this and tells them to, to go occupy, to go, to go do business. So the one that had the five, when he comes back to check on the stewardship— and I'll talk more about that as we go— uh, one has turned the 5 into 10.
Yeah, come on.
One has turned the 2 into 4, or what happened, that middle one had— then the one that had 1, he buried it. And when the master came back— now when I read this, I always feel like when I read these kinds of parables, Jesus is talking about himself in the third person.
Come on.
So he says a certain ruler. I think he's talking about himself.
Yeah, come on.
And he's talking about what he left us. And then he gave 1, 5, 1, 3, 1, 1. And then he told them to, to go, to go do business. He comes back, the 5 has doubled, the middle guy has doubled, the person with 1 has done nothing. Now look what God does. He takes from the one that had the, the least. And you would have think he gave it to the middle guy because the other guy already had 10. He skipped the middle guy and gives the minimal talents to the one that had the 10.
Come on.
And the reason for that is because the one that had the 10 had proven that he could handle large quantity. Yes, God is a businessman. God will never give you more than you can handle. Come on. And this is one of the reasons wealth and prosperity is slow getting to some people, because God is waiting on development. Yeah, maturity. He's waiting on you to, to, uh, come to that place where you, you, you're honorable in what you have and what he's given you. And then when you prove to God you can handle little, or what the scripture calls least, come on, committed to giving you more.
Wow, that's good stuff, Apostle. Listen guys, if you lean into this right now, you're only getting a taste of what I know Apostle's going to deposit Friday when he comes. So you need to make sure that you in the building. This is good stuff. Okay, so Apostle, so above wealth and riches, the— these things are product. And I heard something that stood out very strong to me. They are a product of purpose, of where your purpose lies. Abundance overflows into others. Your wealth is measured based on your ability, your maturity. And I've been teaching this, and I'm glad to hear you say that. So we gotta grow, we gotta grow, and we gotta mature. Because the scripture even says if we're faithful over a few things—
yes sir—
he'll make us ruler over many.
And the key there is faithfulness where you are. Go ahead, I didn't mean to interrupt you.
You're okay.
And that's, that's absolutely true.
So you got to be faithful right in that place you're in. You know, I always tell people, if you praying, asking God for $100,000 a month in income— yes, he not gonna trust you with $100,000 a month in income if you won't even tithe off $1,000 a month in income.
That's exactly right. Was you not faithful over the few?
So why would he trust you to tithe $10,000? You won't bring him $100,000.
That's right. And, and what that is is because money, money has no redemptive value, see? Come on. So whoever you are, money makes you more of that.
Yes, sir.
So God, God's always analyzing our maturity. He's testing us in certain ways. Uh, tithing, uh, uh, number one, is foundational for the kingdom of God, but number two Tithing is a test of your love for God.
Talk, sir.
That's why you have so much stuff going on now where people talk, you know, that they're trying to do away with tithing, like, like tithing is, is something— tithing is the economic system of the church, and God made it fair, Apostle. He made it fair because he didn't make it an amount, he made it a percentage.
Yeah, come on now.
Now, what would have been unfair if he'd have said you got to give $1,000, you got to give $1,000. And then you would have people who couldn't afford $1,000. Come on. So what God said, I'm gonna make this thing fair. I'm gonna, I'm gonna trust you to give me 10% of whatever you bring. So if you bring in $10, God said, I'm gonna trust you to give me $1 out of the $10. And then if you give your dollar and I give my $100 out of my $1,000, we both gave the same thing.
Yes, yes, that's right.
Because the law is not amount, it's 10%. If the entire body of Christ would commit itself— I'm talking about in, in churches everywhere— if the people within a ministry would commit themselves to 10% and a sacrificial seed, the church would never lack again.
Never lack, never lack.
But most times we have 15, maybe 40, 50, 55% of the people who are carrying the whole load of ministry.
Yes, I concur. So, Pastor, here's another question for you. So you— and I, and I've taught this before, and over the, the 36 years I've been in ministry, I've taught this a lot, really. The reality is we know that the curse of poverty— and you just mentioned it, it was broken when we came to Christ. He didn't come just save us from sin and get us to heaven, but he actually broke the curse of poverty. So if that be the case, talk to us about why so many believers still struggle and why— watch this— according to the empirical data, the numbers, church folk are the poorest demographic on Earth. They still struggle to tap into abundance, tap into wealth, to tap into riches. And we have received it. So where's the disconnect? What has happened that the church has not come up to where it needs to be to walk in the abundance that was promised us?
Awesome, awesome question. Um, I'm gonna start— I'm gonna start here.
Yes, sir.
The first thing we have to recognize is that Lack and debt is a spirit.
Come on, come on.
The Lord allowed me some years ago, I got a glimpse of the spirit of poverty. Come on, it is a nasty, ugly spirit, and its goal is to cause you to live in suffering your entire life. So you come to Jesus and you get a truth. Now, most people think because they know truth, that truth will automatically work for them. But it's not just knowing truth, it is what you do with the truth. That causes you to succeed or fail. Now let me see if I can show you where I'm going with this. If you take the South, like Mississippi, Alabama, some parts of Georgia— Georgia have broken through in some ways— but Louisiana, Tennessee, most of your southeastern states, poverty is a spirit of witchcraft.
Come on, come on.
Followed us out of, out of slavery.
Yes, sir.
Curses that were spoken over us on the plantations. Things said like, you'll never prosper if you leave me, you'll never, you'll never get ahead. Tricks and traps that were set to keep us from breaking free. Uh, get the mentality of going to work instead of owning a business. Come on, come on. All of this is, is, is part of not just— see, uh, Jesus set us free from, uh, the spirit of lack, debt, and poverty. But then when you come out of something There are certain changes you have to make mentally.
Yes, sir.
Spiritually, prayerfully, to actually access the freedom.
Come on.
That you've attained. Like when the Emancipation Proclamation was signed, all this— like, now we were free on paper.
Yes, sir.
But all the slaves didn't go free. A lot of them didn't even know nothing had been signed.
You're right.
That's what we get Juneteenth and stuff like that from, because it signifies when folk who were already free figured out they were free.
Yes, sir.
So, so a lot of times you're not just dealing with the work of Christ is finished. Your work ain't finished. Come on. After you come to Jesus, you have to first understand that, that poverty and lack is a territorial spirit.
It is.
Yes, his goal is to hover and rule over you and keep you from breaking free or accessing what God has promised you through the scripture. And it's— and particularly in the southeastern region, it's territorial. Let me show you how territorial it is. Let me just give you something simple. If you think about it, you know it has to be the devil. Why would you set a minimum wage—
come on—
that you know is below the poverty level when you said it.
Come on, sir.
So you had no intention when you set the minimum wage of me prospering, because you knew the minimum wage was below the poverty line when you said it. Yes, that's witchcraft.
My God, that's hoodoo.
That's a curse. That's a jinx.
Yes, sir.
So then if you got this system mindset and all you think about is going to work and you don't think about other things I can do to, to break this over my life. If you don't, if you don't get a handle on, on what it means to save, what it means not to spend it all, what it means to break habits that keep you from prospering. Sometimes it ain't what you make, it's what you're doing with what you make. See, all of this is a part of breaking that curse. Now, when a curse is on you, it drives you to do certain things. When you figure out you free, You have to purposely begin to do opposite of what that spirit wants you to do.
My God.
All right, stay with me now. So it takes more than, than a teaching to break poverty.
Yes, sir.
A lot of folk got— they got good teaching, thank God for it, we all need it. But then they get good teaching and they think, well, you know, I got the word. They think I'm just going to confess my way out of poverty. It's not going to happen.
Come on.
Uh, Uh, you gotta break generational curses.
Yes, sir.
You gotta break ancestral curses. Yes, you got to break curses of lack and poverty. And then sometimes in your life, it takes you a little while to figure out just what you need to pray, because all of our lack is a little different. Let me tell you something, pride is a strong spirit that causes people to stay in poverty.
Yes, sir.
When you— when God says things like, I resist the proud. Come on now, where you— where you think that person's going?
Come on, straight to—
he's resisting the proud. Where that person going? What I mean, they can pack all the suitcases, buy all the tickets, you know what I'm saying? That ain't gonna go nowhere.
Come on, sir.
You resist the proud.
Yes.
Okay, so you have to understand this because Even when you free, the devil ain't gonna just let you, because you're free, walk into prosperity. Just like when you start to living for God, you start trying to do the right thing. That's the one of the biggest fights you'll ever encounter. When you start trying to change your life and do things God's way, you, you don't realize how bound you were till you tell God, God, I'm gonna live for you. Come on. The devil throws everything, man. He sends it. He sends the best looking women, best looking men. He— come on, he's saying get rich quick things for you to go after. He— come on, he bombards your mind and your thoughts. Once you commit to God, he sends everything to try to stop you, because even though you're free, uh, according to the law of God, you have to access that through daily repetition and prayer. Some of it comes through the knowledge, of course, you're renewing your mind. But then some of it, amen, you in spiritual warfare. There are things that your mama had, your daddy had, your grandmama had, your grand— I remember in my family, nobody in my family had ever bought a house.
Come on, sir.
We were, we were at— the Richisons were apartment people.
Come on.
And my mom and dad began to pray and seek the Lord, and we finally bought a house.
My God.
My mom and dad bought that house. House buying started happening all over my family. Uncles.
Yeah.
Uh, cousins. Everybody started buying houses. And then, then, then all of us, all of their children, all of us bought houses. All of us. What? Dad, mom and dad broke that curse because they, they were passing that down to us. Once they broke that curse, it begins to fall. It began to fall off all of us. The person that breaks the curse always has the greatest fight.
Yes, sir, you write about it.
So it's not just— it's not just knowing you're free through the word of God. It's what do I need to do personally so that this truth in the word can be properly, properly, proper properly acceptable in my life. Come on. The, the, the last thing that comes with breaking this curse, uh, and what makes it a struggle, is financial accountability and stewardship.
So good, Apostle.
I was talking about pride. Let me tell you what pride does. Pride makes you present yourself in a manner that you have not attained.
Come on, sir.
So you end up having to spend a lot of what you don't have to protect an image. Come on, sir. I'm not walked into— sir, I feel the Holy Ghost on me, y'all. I feel something.
Yes, sir.
So what pride does, pride interferes with your stewardship.
It does.
It, it calls you, uh, you know, it's like when a pastor— the church down the road builds a church and he had decided he wasn't going to build till 2030. Church down the road builds a church, then all of a sudden he gets an itch and he's in a hurry to build. Folks, what are we going to build? What are we going to do? Then he gets in a hurry because someone else did something down the road in their timing.
Yes, sir.
When it's not your time, you have to wait. And you got to keep breaking that curse, and you got to keep teaching stewardship and keep teaching tithe and keep preaching offering and keep, keep teaching folk how to trust God and keep teaching accountability. Keep teaching. Amen. If you're gonna— anybody's gonna prosper, need a savings account. If you don't have a savings account, you ain't got a storehouse for God to fill. And you can confess and prophesy, if you ain't got no storehouse, you ain't got nothing for God to feel. Your storehouse is your savings account. Where is yours?
Come on, sir.
These are just, these are just financial principles that if anybody is going to prosper, they must understand these problems. When the problem in place, God can then, can then, can then do things supernaturally.
Yes, sir.
To move finances in your direction. Because he knows you have created a dominion to handle what he wants to place in your hand.
Yes, Lord. Good stuff.
I feel the Holy Ghost.
Yes, he's here. Glory to God. That's good stuff. Yes, Lord, that's good stuff. Listen, guys, again, I want y'all to lean in to what God is doing because something ought to be turning in your belly right now. This alignment with abundance is necessary in this hour we live in. And I've been teaching everybody that's connected to me about dominion. We cannot have dominion without abundance.
Can't do it.
Control, establish anything without wealth. So you got to become a good steward. Those struggles got to be broken in your life. Apostle, I appreciate you, man. That's good stuff.
All right, let's go.
I got, I got a couple more questions I want to get these because I believe they're going to bless the people. So you operate, Apostle, strongly in deliverance, and you have seen God deliver and you cast out demons. And my question is, how many times is demonic forces— and you talked about this a little earlier, but I want you to kind of dive into it a little more how these strongholds and these demonic forces, how do they enter into one's life? Because I believe there's some people watching— it's a little over 1,000 people watching us right now— and I, I think someone needs to understand why they keep struggling financially, because it's not just a money problem.
It—
and you said it earlier, it's a demon problem, it's a curse problem.
How—
talk to us about how one needs to deal with what, what do they need to do? Give them some practical steps on what they need to do to break that generational curse off of their life so they can begin to see victory and abundance in their finances.
That is, man, you, you're right on point. That is, that is so good. Um, let me first identify what a curse is because sometimes people don't really When you said, said that's a curse of— that's a spirit of this, that's a spirit of that. Come on, we use that term. Say, well, they, they got a, they got a spirit of fear. Uh, sometimes when you say that, you're talking about an actual demonic spirit.
Come on.
And then sometimes when you use that term, now you're talking about the nature or characteristic of something. So you say that person got a spirit of fear. It could be an actual demonic spirit, but it could just be a characteristic that they picked up from a demon source.
Yes, sir.
So when we use this term, you said, well, that person has a curse. A curse is something negative that has been spoken, decreed, or prophesied. Come on. Over your life.
Yeah.
The result of that is what you would call a hex. Come on, a jinx. Okay.
Yes, sir.
Now, living under a curse has long-term effects.
Yes, sir.
Generational. It, it— when you start dealing with curses, it can go all the way back, uh, third, fourth, generations.
Yes, sir.
So when you start talking about breaking something over your life, you have to recognize that this is not just something that's happening to you right now. It is in your family DNA.
Yes.
So sometimes you're dealing with something that's been living in your family.
That's right.
Okay, then we use the word demons are territorial. There is no spirit in your life, I don't care what kind it that's just hanging around because it's a good deal.
No, they're not.
They got any spirit that's hanging around your life, it's trying to take you out.
Yes, sir. They got it.
This ain't just— no, he ain't just hanging around to give you problems.
Come on.
No, he won't. He, he's trying to kill you. So, so when you— when a curse has been on you, that spirit conditions your thinking, because demons are personalities.
Yes sir, yes sir.
They're working on how you think, how you feel. That's why you can have somebody who is at the height of joy and then late that evening they commit suicide and nobody can figure out— I saw them this morning, they were shouting and jumping. Well, because you couldn't see the depression that was hovering underneath. So When we talk about finance and wealth, we're talking about demons that have been in our community.
Yes, sir.
100 years or more.
Come on.
So then we were, we were taught and conditioned it. We were taught how to be jealous of each other. We were taught how to envy one another. We were, we were taught that to get upset if somebody gets there before we do. And then you think it doesn't bother you, but anytime a way of thinking is working in your life on a consistent basis. Okay, let's say, let's say you lived in poverty. Okay, one thing happened if you lived in poverty is you always want to look like you got out of it. Come on, it's a natural human reaction.
Talk, sir.
But the devil uses that. My God, he uses that to keep you in it. Yes, because there are certain things you got to do to break that spirit. You have to quit working with that spirit. If a demon stays in your life, it's because you feeding that joker. He eating. Talk, sir.
Yes, sir.
The devil can't hang around your life and you starving him out.
I love it.
No, if he ain't going, if he ain't moving, he eating. He at the table. Yes, sir. We have to figure out how am I thinking, what, what am I doing, what are some of my habits. You know, what are habits I'm doing that I don't really need to be doing, but I've been doing it all my life? Like sometimes something as simple as eating out.
Talk, sir.
Now there's a place you can get to in, in, in your, in your, in your economic status and where you are, where you can eat out when you want to. It's no big deal. Absolutely. But if you the person that's trying to get there, instead of going to Kentucky Fried Chicken, you got to go buy a chicken.
Come on, come on.
Instead of going to Winnie's, say, where's the beef? You, you got to stop by Walmart. Come on. And, and buy your 5 pounds of beef.
Come on.
You have to understand that when God's bringing you out, it's a season. And then for that season, here's what we mess up. We don't understand what season we're living in, so we do things out of season. And anytime you're out of season, come on, watch it, you can bud and you can bloom, but you will not bring forth any fruit.
That's so good.
I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna bag that tape up and play that again. Anytime you are out of season, you've seen trees. We have a little spring, brother, I got some in my backyard right now, and they trying to bloom. And one really ain't gone yet. My God, those trees are running the risk of not having any fruit this year. Yeah, so I'm gonna have to go— I might have to get me some plastic bags and go out there and cover them up so in case we get a late frost, it doesn't kill all my fruit.
Yes, sir.
That's what a lot of us do. We bloom early, then the devil send folk to cheer you on. Then you get a late frost, you become unproductive.
Yes, sir.
And you got to start all over again.
That's so good.
These are things that keep us in poverty. See, watch this. At the end of every season, Dr. Woods, you're supposed to get a harvest.
Yes, sir. Yes, sir.
When you don't get the harvest from the last season, you step into the next season without what you need. Come on, sir, I got to get out of here. I got to—
Lord have mercy.
So, so, so, so you're in the next season and you don't left all your harvest back there in the field?
Yes, sir.
Because you're trying to get to your next season before you have harvested your last season.
My God.
And it's better to stay in the last season too long. Come on, to bring part of your harvest. Oh, and to get to the next season and you don't have what you need to keep growing.
Shabbat. Oh God, it's so good, Apostle. So that's so good.
So these, the, these are curses that the devil put in our lives. Hexes, jinx. Now If you— if your family has been, uh, delving in, in, in, in witchcraft, you know, going to Miss Marie and Bishop Billy and Bajaw Mom and all them folk, and you're going to them, yes sir, trying to find your prosperity, your success by that, well, all you've done is open a door in your life. Yeah. Okay. She gonna drain you.
Come on.
Okay, then the devil's gonna jump in and everything you touch, where in God he would have caused it to prosper 30, 60, 100, now because you done been down to Miss Marie and Bishop Billy and—
come on, sir—
and come on, and, and the lady that got the praying hands and her one who don't pray, you know, you got all this stuff in your life now. And then that, that, that, uh, uh, subvasserates the curse.
Yes, sir.
All you're doing is strengthening the curse because you cannot confess Jesus and then try to get your credentials from another God.
Come on.
If you gonna do this thing with God, you can't go see Miss Marie.
He's our supernatural provider.
You can't go see Bishop Billy. You can't go see about your mama. You can't, you can't call the psychic mama, you know, and, and ask her what she see. If you're gonna walk with God, you can't have no other god dibbling and dabbling in the money.
Talk, sir.
Now, oh, now, now, last thing, then I'll pause for, for where you want to go next. Uh, all money that is not blessed by God, come on, has a curse on it.
That's good.
I'm gonna pause there because some, some of you turn flips.
Talk, sir.
Come on. When the Bible— I'm talking about the money off your job, I'm talking about the money, uh, uh, uh, all worldly money has a curse on it.
Come on.
That's why the Bible talks so much about being careful about greed and, and not loving money, because all worldly money has a curse on it by a spirit called Mammon.
Come on, sir.
Mammon is a demon of all money that has not been blessed by God. The curse falls off money when it gets in your hand.
Yes.
And you tell God to bless it.
Yes.
And then you, you, you give God his portion out of it. What you're doing, what all that's about is you're removing the curse off of that money so that God can now put his hand on it.
Yeah.
Cause you to prosper.
Yes, sir.
That word, that, that, that word mammon actually means Money. It is the name of the demon that controls currency. See, what you have to understand is money ain't saved or unsaved.
It's not.
It's all about the system that is in. That's when we get to heaven, ain't gonna be no money in heaven.
You're right about it.
Ain't none of us got out of here with nothing.
Come on, sir. Come on.
Back when you had the— all the old kings and things They would, they would build their tomb, put all that, put all the money, all the silver, all the gold in the tomb trying to take it to the other side. Then the grave robbers come back at 3 in the morning.
Yes, sir.
Take it off because money is an earthly currency. Watch this. And if God don't bless you with any, you better get it while you're down here.
My God.
Because ain't no money in heaven, ain't no money in glory. Ain't no money. And then when you talk about— when you talk about the Black community, we don't have— we in our community, for the most part, we don't have the luxury of generational wealth. Talk, sir. Most of us inherited bills.
That's right.
Y'all don't like how I'm talking right now.
You're talking good, sir.
Most of us inherited— and I ain't talking about no dollar bills. Come on, I'm talking about stuff that folk didn't pay for in their lifetime and we end up having to pick up the tab. Come on, we don't have that luck. So then we have to, we have to think out of the box. Yes sir, we got to think past the EBT, past free money, and then we got to allow God to give us thoughts and ideas and economic ways of, of, uh, uh, bringing forth wealth. I'm doing something right now, uh, Dr. Woods, called, uh, is named Mississippi Real Estate Acquisition Company. Where this came about was I've been praying to God for 3 and a half, 4 years about something that I could do that would create generational wealth in our community. And that anybody could get along with, uh, could, uh, could, uh, participate in it and, uh, and get involved in it whether they had all of the, uh, necessary funds or the necessary knowledge.
Yes, sir.
And what I did, I formed a corporation and broke it up into 700 shares. Come on.
Then I allowed—
I'm allowing individuals to buy a piece of that company. Come on. Out of the 700 shares, if we sell all the 700 shares, uh, by a deadline, the company opens up day one with a million dollars valuation capital.
That's good.
We're building, we're taking one of the biggest needs in our areas. There's not affordable houses.
Come on.
The average, the average first-time buyer in the United States is 40 years old.
True.
Yes, sir. So, so the 20s folk ain't buying no houses. The 30s ain't buying no houses because the housing market has been priced out of their range. Yes, sir. I want to take houses that need a little work on. I want to, I want to remodel, redevelop, put them on the market. But I want them, I want them to sell in that $150,000 to $200,000 range.
I love it.
Where, uh, Pookie and his wife, they both working the job, $10 an hour, they can get a house and it's just $650, $700, $800 a month. They can handle that instead of paying that $100, uh, that $615, $600 a month for that apartment that they not own anything.
Yes, sir.
And I've got some pastors who are, who have joined in with me. I've got, I've got, uh, uh, oh man, my, my membership, uh, they, they've been all in. And we're looking at somewhere between now and August closing the door on this, on this, this initial, uh, money that we're raising. And then we want to begin to buy houses and then actually go into business January 2027. Now this is thinking, and God told— when he gave to me, he said, now the biggest thing you have to overcome is poverty mindset.
Yes, sir.
But now the shares are $1,500 a share. What business can you start anywhere with $1,500?
Come on.
If you're gonna start a business anywhere in the world, in the marketplace, You're talking about $15,000, $20,000, $30,000 minimum.
Yeah, come on.
So what I'm telling people, so why not invest $15,000, $3,000, $4,500 in something that's gonna be residual for, uh, the way we got it figured, if we do 12, 13 houses the first year, you're gonna recoup all you've invested. Everything from that for the next 20, 30 years is profit. And we're, and we're trying to sell this, but the bigger challenge is going to be mindsets because it's mine. We got a $1,500 in the Black community.
Come on, sir.
Now other communities do this all day. You got, you got all kind of stuff where you got 3 or 4 white guys, but, uh, Bud, Skipper, and, you know, and Jumbo. All them get together, they do things all the time. Our community, we think $1,500 is, is, is Fort Knox. So my biggest challenge is overcoming mindsets, the way we think, not, not dependent on, on the government. And then what I try to tell people, some of y'all, you do, you do, you're doing $200 and $300 a month in your head and in your fingernails.
Come on.
And your toenails. Come on. But you're afraid to invest that same money in yourself.
Talk, sir.
We're dealing with a mindset, and it's, it's witchcraft. We, we thank Uncle Sam, we thank the Trumps and the, and the, and the Bidens and all. We think these folks are going to come in on a white horse and rescue us. The Black community will not be rescued. By politicians.
They will not.
We're coming out, we're gonna believe God, and we're gonna grab a hold this summer. We, we gotta find— we gotta listen at authentic. I'm not talking about all this hate, man. I hear a lot of positive scheme people talking about, you put in $100, I put in $100, then we bless one person every month. That's a Ponzi scheme. Come on, that's not an investment. That's a Ponzi scheme. That's what Madoff went to jail for.
Yeah, that's exactly where— why he's locked up.
Yeah, money around pretending you paying somebody. You ain't— you— all you're doing is recycling money. I'm talking about putting money in something where you're creating something that can be sold in the public domain and you reap the harvest on it. See, that mindset is gone because we the thieves— that's it, back to you. The thief.
Yeah, come on.
Now when you read that John 10:10, I ain't gonna talk much about this because I'm gonna delve in that when I come, when I come in. But the thing, when you go back and read that text—
yes, sir—
in John 10:10—
yes, sir—
ain't the devil.
Talk, talk.
It's, it's, it's preachers who are in the office. Go read it. That didn't come through the door.
Lord Jesus, talk, Apostle.
It's folk that got callings that didn't come from God.
Talk, sir. Talk, sir.
It ain't a devil in St. John 10.
Talk, sir. Talk, sir.
It's people who are preaching to you and teaching to you who have not heard from God. They have information but no revelation.
Talk, sir. Good God. Good God Almighty.
Talk to you all day about going to heaven, and let me say this. All of us want to go to heaven, but ain't none of us trying to get there today.
Come on, sir, you got that right.
Ain't nobody trying to go right now.
You got that right.
So I gotta talk to more of you than just going to heaven. I got to teach you how to live right now.
Yes, sir. Yes, sir.
And what the thief does, the Bible says the thief is in the same chapter. He see the wolf, gotcha.
Yes, sir.
He see the wolf is hungry. Yeah, but because he didn't come through the door, he don't care. As long as you feeding him, as long as he getting fat, he ain't gonna warn you about the wolf that's coming.
Thank you, Jesus.
Then, so he— so watch this, because he won't teach you, he won't educate you. See, I preach about money like I preach about sin.
Me too.
When you ain't got no money, come on, you're just saying to get some.
Talk, sir.
Come on, talk to me, sister girl. When the baby need a pair of shoes and Pookie Ray Ray, who you ain't heard from, come on, in 5 years, just before Christmas, he on the phone in his sexy voice, how you doing? Come on, sir, you crossed my mind today. Because he, he understands that a mom will go the extra mile for her children.
Yes, sir.
So the devil will test you the most during seasons of holidays and birthdays and things of that sort because he knows that you are vulnerable during those times.
Glory to God.
Are y'all hearing what I'm trying to say?
Thank you, Jesus.
So, so then, but, but the reason that works is because you have not built a storehouse. Talk. You don't have a reservoir to draw from.
Talk soon.
You have not handled your own money wisely. So you, you have to teach in the South because it's territorial and because of the money. We have to teach on money.
Yes, sir.
It ain't no get-rich-quick scheme. We're living on the curse. We have the lowest pay rates, uh, in the country. We— come on, we, we, we've been taken advantage of. Uh, the system is against us. We have to preach on money and teach people not just giving, but teaching people how to handle money. The big— the biggest curse in my church was folk didn't believe in budgets. The budget was in their front pocket.
Come on, sir.
Then when I started teaching on budget, I start teaching them, telling people some of y'all need financial counseling. Then, then you talk about the resistance, man. I don't want nobody trying to tell me How the hell am I money? That's why you broke. Talk, sir, because if you were strong enough to break that addiction, you'd already be out of it, see. So in the South, we have to talk about money because it's a territorial demon, and we have to— it's in the mind, it's in the thinking, uh, it's, it's— it causes us to fight and fear one another. It's systematic.
Yes, sir.
I was talking about you set a minimum wage, $8 or $9, that's below the poverty level. That's systematic.
Yes, sir.
They're not trying to help you get out. We have to evolve. Well, like they did with Black Wall Street, people came together, put a little bit in, and did wonders.
Yes, they did.
And then they tore it down. They got— they saw them prospering and they went, burned it down. But it worked. Yes, sir. And God bringing us back, I'm thinking we're gonna have to pull together come up with our deals.
We get—
we got to put checks and balances in place, deal with men and women of God who has, who has, uh, long-term character and integrity so you don't think it's a hoax. And God will do the miraculous through us if 2 or 3 of us will come together in his name. He will get in the middle of that. And cause us to prosper in ways that we have never prospered before. And by the time God get through with the Black community, we are never gonna stick our hand out for somebody to give us anything again. We're gonna take care of ourselves, we're gonna take care of our poor, we're gonna take care of our needy. But it starts with a new way of thinking. Yes, and we haven't preached. We got— you got to teach right now, God. God is really testing us as leaders to see, can we be faithful to this thought process? But we got to teach, we got to preach it, and we got to demonstrate it. And God is going to give us the increase.
Yes, sir. Wow, what good stuff, Apostle. Man, thank you, thank you. I hope that you guys again have leaned into this because tonight has been Uh, absolutely phenomenal. We had a lot of people on. I grabbed it. A lot of our leaders that we cover from around the world on here tonight. We had a little 1,200 people on at one time. Wow. Got this, right? I pray that y'all got this. Um, it's an echo of a lot of things I've already been teaching, but the main thing is Apostle is coming on Friday night And he just scratched the surface. For real, I'm telling you, I know this man. He just scratched the surface of what he's going to deposit in this region. So make sure you're in the building. I have put up the way you can RSVP your seat. Go ahead and make sure you got a seat in the building. It's free. There's no registration fee. We just want you to get this information. It's going to be phenomenal. We believe that God is breaking the back of lack and poverty in your life. We believe that abundance is going to flow, as Apostle said tonight, from you to others. And really, I was teaching this morning, I taught it Thursday night, I hit it again this morning, Psalm 105:7. He said he brought them out with silver and gold Yes, one feeble person in their tribe. I believe God wants to raise us up with the right innovation, the right ideas, the right creativity, the right businesses, the right influence, where we have no poor people among us. Yeah, when Jesus said, 'The poor you have with you always,' he wasn't talking about us. He was talking about them that don't tap into this covenant.
That's right, that's right, that's right.
So we want to make sure— this is why I separate space every year for this meeting. We called it last year our Wealth Weekend, but this weekend we've created space, 5 sessions. Apostle is starting it off. Go ahead tonight and RSVP your seat. Apostle, I love you, man. Thank you so much for being here. I'm looking forward to seeing you, man, on Friday night.
Yes, sir.
Fellowship. And again, thank you for your time tonight. I know you're busy. I know you preached today, and I know it's a lot to jump on here on a Sunday night, but I appreciate it, sir, so much.
Yeah, can I say one other thing, Apostle?
Yes, sir. Yes, sir.
I got family in Georgia. If you listen tonight, I'm gonna be in Georgia. Uh, give us that address, Apostle.
We're going to be at 410 Santa Fe Trail in Ellenwood, Georgia. That's 410 Santa Fe Trail in Ellenwood, Georgia.
Now, so if you— that's Rod Eye Church. So if you're, you're in the vicinity of Atlanta, Ellenwood, amen. Uh, my family, I got some— I got a lot of friends there. You need to come on out to Rod Eye Church Sunday night. I'm going to be there. I'm excited. Uh, God has given me much to share in area of abundance. And I want to just pour out— I want to touch and agree, I want to pray. We want to break curses, we want to break generational curse, we want to break the spirit of witchcraft, uh, all the things that try to hold us in bondage, hold us in poverty and lack. We're going to be attacking those things in the spirit of God. And I just want to challenge you, if you're not already made your reservations, do it right now. Uh, the information is on the screen. I'm sure Apostle gonna give it to you again before we, we, we close the screen. But, uh, meet me there. I'm excited about coming to, uh, the Atlanta Ellenwood area, and, uh, I know God is going to bless us in a supernatural way. I'll see you there.
Amen. Amen. Pause. We looking forward to seeing you, sir. So you— are you gonna be here Friday night or Sunday night? It don't matter to me. Yeah, I think you're supposed to be here Friday night.
I'm gonna be there Friday night. That's correct, I'll be there Friday night.
But if you want to come Sunday night, because you don't say Sunday, you said Sunday.
I didn't mean to say something. I'll be there Friday night. That's right, Friday night. I'll be there Friday night.
Be in the building and we're going to be blessed. Like I said, we only got a, a small portion of the anointing on Apostle's life. And Apostle, I thank you again for being here. Listen, if you were blessed tonight, the ways to give are scrolling at the bottom of this screen. I want you to give like abundance is flowing in your life tonight. Um, just release a seed of some kind into the ground to be a blessing to this conference. Everything you're giving is going toward our budget. We got great speakers. Apostle's gonna kick it off, it's gonna be phenomenal. You heard that tonight. Uh, Pastor Ben Tankard, who was with us last year during our Wealth Weekend, he'll be back. He's going to be preaching on Saturday night. Uh, Grammy Award-winning uh, from Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Great preacher. I think in the building, the weekend of our speakers, we're gonna have a net worth of right at about $80 million. So to sit under that kind of wealth between Apostle Richardson, Ben Tankard, myself, you're gonna get some nuggets. Praise the name of God. That's going to catapult you into this next phase of abundance. So you want to make sure you're in the building. You want to make sure that you can sit under this oil so you can be released into this next dimension of abundance that God has for you. So get registered on Saturday morning at 10 AM. You want to be in that session because Apostle hit it tonight about generational curses, and he talked about generational wealth. I'm going to be talking about two key ways to create generational wealth, and I'm going to share that with you. I'm gonna give you some practical tools that you can leave Saturday and begin to do these things immediately, to begin to grow the multi-generational wealth that God has called you to leave. You need to leave an inheritance to your children's children, but you need to know how to do that. Saturday morning I'm going to teach that and I'm going to share that, and I know you're going to be blessed. Sunday is going to be phenomenal. We're looking for a move of God, guys.
