The Apostle's Table | The Election & The Elected: PART 2 THE MINDSET OF THE ELECTED | Dr. Mike Woods

Dr. Mike Woods shares a 2016 prophetic word where God said no presidential candidate was qualified, urging Christians to see themselves as kingdom citizens above party loyalty. He argues the Bible, not media or personal preference, should guide how believers vote, using Scripture and the analogy of referees enforcing rules rather than playing the game.

Well, praise the Lord and grace and peace be multiplied to you from our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. This is Dr. Mike Woods, for those who are uninitiated, and welcome to today's edition of The Apostle's Table. Listen, on today's program I'm going to be sharing with you another part to the message The Election and the Elective, and today I'm going to discuss the mindset of the elected. You know, there's a certain thought process you need to engage when it comes down to politics and voting. So this message is going to begin to unpack what that mindset looks like. So don't scroll, don't go anywhere. Matter of fact, again, I want you to share it because this election is so important and God really wants to accomplish something on the mountain of politics. He needs us to partner with him to make sure his agenda is accomplished. Let's go into this word and I promise you your life won't be the same. The Election and the Elected Part 2: The Mindset of The Elective. God bless you.

We thank you, Lord. Your credit is good with me, so I thank you in advance for what you're about to do. In Jesus' name we pray, amen. And thank God. Well, praise the Lord and God bless you. Hallelujah. So excited to come into your home, so excited to be in the house of the Lord with those of us that are here live tonight. Let me tell you something, get out your Bible. Glory to God. Call a neighbor, call a friend, because I'm telling you right now, the nation— hear me— needs to hear this word I'm about to teach tonight. So I'm going to give you a moment. Glory to God. As you're coming in to share this Facebook. Praise God. If you're on YouTube, I need you to share the link. Praise the Lord. Well, I'm not going to prolong the time tonight. I'm going to jump right into the word, and what I'm going to give you really is a lot of Bible. Praise the Lord. Because I want you to see something that I believe our nation, our world needs to hear. All right, you know, we're living in a very volatile time. And we're in the midst of an inaugural year. Many of you have already voted, perhaps. Many of you will vote in the coming month or months. Here's what I need you to understand: if you are a believer, it is very important that you understand that when it comes to the agenda of God and this world, there is a mindset that the elected should have. So tonight I'm going to— I begin this a couple of weeks ago, and I was compelled in my heart today to minister this again on tonight, uh, part 2, because the Holy Spirit began to add to this. And I'm probably going to be in it throughout this month and throughout Election Day because I need you to be very clear that the kingdom-minded man or woman who is of voting age has an obligation to go to the polls and do what's right by heaven and not what's right by the world. Now I know many of you are saying, well, who's he going to endorse? Who's his candidate? Is he Democrat? Or is he Republican? I want to submit to you tonight, I'm neither. I am a kingdom citizen, and what I want to present tonight is from a propheocentric or an apio-centric or even a biblio-centric worldview. I want us to get the mindset of God when it comes to his agenda concerning this earth. See, we pray for God to heal our land and give us good things in America and to give us good things in the world. But after we pray, we have to realize that God wants to partner— hear me— he wants to partner with us to push his agenda. So, and if we don't align ourselves and treat the partnership properly Many a times the will of God has to be fulfilled through those, in some instances, who don't even know him. But I want to tell you, it's our obligation to not be Democrat, to not be Republican, but to be bibliocentric, to be propiocentric, which means it's a propio-cultural form for point of view. We need to be able to look at things through the eyes of heaven and the eyes of the spirit. That's what he wants. So here's what I want to do. I want to read— I read this when I preached this, uh, the first time, but I want to read this prophetic word, and then we're going to get into tonight's message. Back in 2016, I want to tell you something, guys. We were faced— we were faced with almost the exact same situation we did not have a viable candidate that really had the heart of God. And as I began to pray about who would I vote for, what would I do, because I was really in 2016, I was in this place where I was like, God, if you don't speak to me, I'm not even voting. I know, and I want to vote because my forefathers died for my right to vote. And that's why I wanted to. So I needed to hear from God. And when I prayed, this is what God said to me. Let me read this word to you. He said, Michael, 2016, October 4th. He says, I need you to be keenly aware that a nation void of leadership is a nation headed for destruction. He says, son, consider a church without a pastor, a choir without a director, a child without parents, a school without a principal, or workplace without a supervisor, and etc. He said, son, what is worse than this is a person occupying a place of leadership who is not qualified to lead. He said to me, he said, Michael, neither of America's candidates are qualified to influence the world to follow their vision. He said, because of America's disobedience And in particular, my kingdom leaders, hear me, and my kingdom worshipers. He said, America now is in a position where they must elect someone to lead, and neither of the candidates are qualified, listen, nor my choice. He said, my son, here is what you must do and must— and what you must tell my people. He said, number one, you must preach the kingdom like never before. He said, tell my people to position themselves as kingdom citizens versus American citizens. I want you to hear me. If you're listening to me tonight, hear this word from the Lord. And if you're a believer, I want you to understand, even though you were born in the United States, your original citizenship comes from heaven. You are a citizen of the kingdom of heaven. And you're subject to the rules and revelations and regulations and biblio-centric ideals of God. Hear me. He says, tell them, number 3, to posture themselves for kingdom dominion. And number 4, he said, tell my people to openly and boldly praise me, their king. He said, as you do this and the people adhere He said, there will be— he said, they will be clear that I am the King of the entire earth. He said, Michael, tell the world, he said, that I am neither Democrat nor Republican. He says, tell them I'm not a president, I am not a prime minister, and tell them I am not an earthly king. He said, but give them to know I am King of Kings. Ha, shabande. He said, tell them I am Lord of Lords. He said, tell them I am the Ancient of Days. He says, give them to know I am the true and living God. He says, and let them know that the United States perversion that they now live in. He said, give them to know that it is a setup for my glory to be revealed in all the earth, even today and forevermore, says the Lord. Now again, God gave me that word in 2016. 2016, we were in the self-same position that we find ourselves in now. My God, we do not have a candidate that has the heart of God. And I'm here to submit tonight that as you go to the polls There is a mindset. I'm not here to endorse any candidate. I'm here to endorse the Bible. Let me explain it to you this way. My second favorite sport— my first is basketball, my second is football— and in both basketball and football, there are two teams in conflict going in opposite directions with two different goals. That they have to achieve. Now, they both wear different uniforms. They both have different personnel that make up the team. They both come to the court or the football field with different strategies. However, it is not left up to them In an organized game, whether it's Little League, high school, college, or professional level, it is not left up to the teams and their personnel to play the game— watch this— according to their rules. Let me use the NBA. LeBron James just won his 4th NBA championship. The NBA set down rules whereby the game was needed to be played to honor the pandemic and the CDC guidelines for social distancing and COVID-19. There were rules in place, but before those rules, there were rules that the offices of the NBA had already established that every player on the court, regardless to which direction they were going in, had to abide by. Are y'all hearing me? They had no choice. And in order to enforce those rules, there was another team put together. I love it. That did not play for the Lakers or the Miami Heat. It was a team called referees, and all those referees wore black and white shirts. They did not play for the Lakers, neither did they play for the Heat. They were sent as ambassadors from the NBA offices. Y'all not hearing me tonight. To make sure the rules of the NBA rule book were carried out. So here am I tonight. I ain't got on striped shirt, but I'm not Democrat nor Republican, but I've been sent from heaven to make sure the rules of the book, whoa, are followed when we go to vote. Hallelujah! See, in that game, if there was a foul needed to be called, it didn't matter if LeBron James fouled or Jimmy Butler fouled, who was on the opposite team. That ref was going to fairly call the game. Watch this, the referee understood The fans may boo me if I make a call they don't like. They may cheer me if I make a call they don't like. I'm here to tell you, I know some of y'all may boo me if I say something you don't like. Some of you were cheering on, but I'm not here to be on either side but the biblio-centric kingdom worldview. That's what I'm here to present. Hallelujah to God! So let's get started. So tonight I want to talk about the mindset of the elected. Remember, we're talking about the election and the elected. How do the elected respond to an election, whether it be a senator, a mayor, a president? How do you respond? Do you respond to what the media is telling you? Or the media's worldview of how— you don't know either of the candidates. Glory to God. All you can do is know them by discernment. So the first thing I want to give you under this mindset of the elected, because you are elected, you have to follow a rule that comes from the Constitution, which is the Bible. So let's go to Matthew 6:33. Let's start there tonight. Hallelujah! Let's go to the Bible. Hallelujah, Jesus! Some of y'all, uh, you've already made up your mind, and some of you already went and voted because— and you didn't pray, you didn't discern. You did it based on some things that you have built up in your heart against either candidate that was not born out of prayer. It was born out of media. It was born out of your fleshly judgment. When I told you your job is not to get on a team, it's to be a referee. It's to uphold heaven. It's not your job to get on the team. You got to get on the team of heaven. But some of you, you put your Bible down when it comes to politics. People will fuss, they'll fight, and because they decided they hate somebody, and out of their flesh— because I said this when I first preached it, and I'm gonna say it again right now, some of you may not like this— I voted for Barack Obama when Barack Obama was running in both 2008 and 2012. Let me tell you why I voted for him. Only reason I voted was because he was black. I'm gonna tell you something, I was wrong. I was— listen, in my heart, being a black man out of my flesh, I wanted to see the first black president, so I cast my vote. But you know what? Barack stood for so many things that were anti-bibliocentric. Now here's what I wanted to say. Most of you that voted for Barack, including myself, or any president for that matter, if you're saved and honest, you'll have to testify that the reason you are where you are today, the reason your bills got paid, the reason you are It ain't because of Barack, it's because of your King in heaven. That's right. Barack ain't helped me pay not one bill. Y'all ain't got to say nothing, I'm, I'm knowing, right? And he ain't help you pay one neither. And neither of these candidates really are. We need a candidate that can align with the agenda of God and push it. Let's go to— let's go Matthew. I'm boring y'all. Y'all don't want to hear this, but you can just scroll on past if you don't want to hear it. Just go listen to somebody ain't gonna tell you the truth, but I'm gonna tell you the truth. Matthew 6, uh, let's look at 20. Let's look at 24. All right, the Bible says no man can serve two masters. Okay, here we go. No man can serve two masters. Serve, doulos in Greek, which means you cannot become a slave to two ideas. You can't, because you can't have a master if you're not a slave. And I know I don't want to be a slave to no man-made party. I'm not a slave to the Democrats. I'm not a slave to the Republicans. I'm not a slave to independence when it comes to politics. I serve the living God, and I serve him as a slave. I do what he says. So watch this. You're not gonna do what CNN says. Oh, you're not gonna— oh my God, you're not gonna do— but my God, I'm so glad I can't see y'all comments or what y'all thinking. Because y'all probably think I'm crazy right now, but you can't do what the media tells you. You got to do what the Bible says. The Bible says no man can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will hold to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon. My God, what is mammon? Mammon is treasure, is riches, is money. Watch this, it's worldly plans. Mammonas in Greek is what it is, worldly plans or ideas. You gotta, you gotta choose whose side you are. Either you're on God's side or the world side. So the mindset of the elected is, I'm a slave to God. Yeah, I do what he says because he's My master. When you get saved, you don't have your own agenda anymore. Your agenda aligns with his agenda for your life. I got to get out of here, man. The Bible said, verse 25, therefore I say unto you, take no thought for your life, what you shall eat, or what you shall drink, or yet for your body, what you shall put on. Is not life more than meat, nor the body for raiment? In other words, he said right here, don't worry about what you're going to eat, drink, wear. Okay, he said don't worry about that. See, there's some problems here. In verse 24, it was the problem of priority— prioritizing material good, politicians, worldly wealth over God's way of doing things. Secondly, here in verse 25 is a problem of anxiety, worry. If you're saved, you shouldn't be worried. Some of you will vote for people because you worried that if you vote the right way, the candidate that stands for the right way is going to take away your food, drink, and raiment. Well, you blind, crippled, and crazy if you believe one of those Cannabis had control over your food, drink, and clothes. They don't. God's your master. Let me keep reading. Verse 26: Know the fowls of the air, for they sow not, neither do they reap nor gather into barns, yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit to his stature? In other words, if you worry, you can't add nothing to yourself anyway. God's in control. Verse 28: And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they toil not, neither do they spin. And yet I say unto you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Therefore take no thought, saying, what shall we eat, or what shall we drink, or wherewithal we shall be clothed. Watch this, verse 32, here we go. For all these things the Gentiles seek. So people who are seeking after these things are not in the kingdom. People who have political agendas, who align themselves with the ways of the world, they're seeking how they can best set themself up inside of the worldly system to be taken care of. And many have been deceived to believe that it's a politician that, that's outside of the realm of God's plan that's going to do that. And that's not true. We need government officials who are saved, who have the heart of God, who will listen to the prophetic voice. Are you hearing me? Okay. He said, the Father know these things that you need even before you ask. My God, what a daddy that knows exactly what you need even before you ask for it. And you know, sometimes when in my immaturity, I would be like, God, if you know what I need, why don't you just give it to me? Why I got to sit here and go through this? He said, I need you to claim it as yours. I need you to open your mouth and speak it into existence. I need you to believe that I'm able to provide what you're desiring. See, when you are a real slave to God, you know that he's willing to make sure you're taken care of so you can advance his glory in the earth. Watch this. He said, don't worry about this stuff. Don't be— don't have pro— don't put worldly things in priority over godly things. Don't worry about what you're going to eat, what you're going to drink, what you're going to put on. He said the Gentiles look for this. He said, verse 33, but seek, seek, zeteio in Greek, which means to pursue hard after. So the mindset of an elected person who's been elected by God to be saved Because watch this, the Bible said we are predestined to be sons of God. We were chosen to be sons of God before we were ever born. Romans 8. So if I was chosen to be a son of God, if I'm elected, selected, protected by God to be his child, my mindset in an election season should be as an elected person who serves the king as a slave, who is a kingdom citizen And part of that mindset has to be a seeking of God. But seek— zito in Greek, or zeteio— means to pursue hard after with uninterrupted focus, which means to go after God with everything you got, which means to seek him above everything else. Watch it. He said, but seek ye first the kingdom of God. The word first there is paraiso in Greek, which means give this priority. Before you worry about what you eat, drink, or gonna wear, before you worry about your bills, before you worry about your future, he said, come after me with all you got. Come after the kingdom, the basileia in Greek. Watch this, the basileia is God's rule, God's glory, and God's authority manifested through his partners. The first partner that he manifested it through in the earth was Jesus. And then when Jesus left, Jesus said, I go to the Father, greater works you'll do, but I'm gonna send you another comforter, the Holy Ghost, and I'm gonna put my kingdom in you. He said the kingdom of God is within you. That's right. Woo! And if worship is a key to getting in the kingdom, that means every time I worship, I can enter inside of the kingdom and begin to introspectively walk through the plans of God that are in my spirit and in my heart. Worship ain't just for us to sing a good song and feel good. Worship is designed to unlock the kingdom, because when we worship, the King takes residence, and now we got an opportunity to go in and fellowship with him around the throne in our spirit and in the realm of glory. Wow. He said, seek the kingdom of God and— hear that— his righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Wait a minute, so when you go to vote, you need to be seeking the kingdom, God's rule, God's glory, God's authority, God's bibliocentric His profiocentric view of how you're voting, because ain't who, it's how. You need to seek his views before you vote for anybody. Hear me? And his righteousness, his way of being right. So if somebody you about to put in office doesn't align itself with what's right, They don't need your vote because I— listen, somebody said, who are you supporting? I'm the umpire. I'm supporting what God wants. I'm enforcing the book. Wow. Now, as we read in the prophecy earlier, we saw in this word that Watch this. Oh my God, glory! We saw that God said none of these candidates were his. Oh my God, none of these candidates he approved of. And I'm saying to you right now, we're in the same boat because Both candidates' hearts are far from the agenda of God, but we have the power. This is why you need to pray before you vote. Watch this, I want you to go to Exodus real quick. I'm gonna walk you through the Bible here. Chapter 3, verse 19. Exodus 3 And I am sure that the king of Egypt will not let you go. No, not by mighty hand. So he said, this king, this president, he says his heart is not in the right place. In other words, it was the will of God that the Israelites, his people, be free. But the king— watch this— had a political agenda to keep them slaves. It was against his political desires to let them go. But God is saying to Moses, I know he ain't gonna let you go, but this is what I want you to do. Go down there, tell him I AM sent you, and sure as the world, he gonna let the people go. Well, let's walk through this. Go down to Exodus 7. Watch this. Remember, Pharaoh's heart is wrong. Exodus 7, verse 3, it says, and he hardened Pharaoh's heart that he hearken not unto them as the Lord had said. And the Lord said unto Moses, verse 14, Pharaoh's heart is hardened. He refuses to let the people go. Now that's not a surprise to Moses. God already told him He ain't gonna let him go. It ain't gonna be easy. Oh, but let me read. Hallelujah. Let's go down to verse 22 of chapter 7, Exodus. And the magicians of Egypt did so with their enchantments, and Pharaoh's heart was hardened. Neither did he hearken unto them as the Lord said. Down to verse— I'm sorry, chapter 8, verse 15. I'm just going to walk you through this. But when Pharaoh saw there was respite, he hardened his heart and hearkened not to them as the Lord said. Notice here that the leader, the political leader's heart was jacked up. It was wrong, it wasn't in the will of God, but it was there because God wanted to prove a point that he can get the glory out of even a wicked leader and that his will could still be accomplished. Let's read it. Okay, okay, okay. Look, let's, let's go to, uh, verse, uh, 8. Let's watch this. Let's go to 8:32. And Pharaoh hardened his heart at this time also, neither would he let the people go. 9:7. And Pharaoh sent, and behold, there was not one of the cattle of the Israelites dead. And the heart of Pharaoh was hardened, and he did not let the people go. I'm walking you through the story. Verse 9, chapter 9. And it, and it shall become small dust in all the land of Egypt and shall be a ball breaking forth with blains upon man, upon beasts throughout all the land of Egypt. Oh my God, watch this. And they— verse 10— and they took ashes of the furnace and stood before Pharaoh, and Moses sprinkled it up toward heaven, and it became a ball breaking forth with blains upon man and upon beasts. And the Lord hardened the heart of Pharaoh. You will think all of these miracles Pharaoh would go ahead and let the people go. Here's a pro— here's what God was doing. Let me show you what God was doing. He was trying to show the Israelites and Moses that no matter how wicked this king is, if you stay with my plan, one, I'm gonna stay with you and you're never gonna need anything because I'm your master. And eventually this Pharaoh, this king, is going to declare also that I am his God. So before we make rash decisions about a king with a hard heart, a wicked heart, we need to show forth the glory of God. And show forth the agenda of God so that the king's heart will declare that our God is his God. Yeah. Oh boy, let me, let me just go on down here. Oh God, let me just get down here. Exodus 19, verse 6. Like, watch this. It says, and ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests. Priests are intercessors, people that go before God on behalf of others. He says, a holy nation. I will submit to you, we are a holy nation. We are kingdom of intercessors, and when we pray, heaven responds. The Bible says the heart of the king is in the hand of the Lord. And he turneth it however he please. So if we become intercessors and not— watch this— you're trying to use the power of your vote and will vote wrong to push something— oh my God— to push somebody out or bring somebody in. Hear me, to fix the issues you think exist when the only thing that's gonna fix it is prayer, is a holy nation. Oh, only thing that fixes racial tension in America is a holy nation that prays, that intercedes, that can move heaven. The only thing that fixes poverty in America is a holy nation that can pray and intercede. This is the mindset It's one of prayer, it's one of authority, it's one that seeks God. The mindset ain't to take matters in your own hand, boom, just because you can. No, you need— before you do anything, you should talk to God. Oh, y'all don't believe it? Let me jump out of that, go to Proverbs. Y'all don't believe it? I'm gonna close with this because I'm losing some of y'all. I'm gonna close tonight with this. Proverbs. Hallelujah! Proverbs 3. Yeah, Proverbs 3. Let's start at verse 1 because it's just all right to read the Bible. All right, Proverbs 3:1. Watch it, because you think just because you can vote You got a right to vote how you want to. Well, if you're a child of God and you're a slave, you gotta vote like God say. Proverbs 3:1 says, my son, forget not my law, which means you don't— you can't conveniently forget the words of God, the Kingdom Constitution, just because you want to be political right now. He said, don't forget the law, don't forget what I said, don't forget righteousness. This is the mindset. I just gotta teach the Bible. You ain't got to like me. Like I said, scroll past this if you don't like it, but I'm telling you right now, if you're a believer, you got to go by the Bible. You might not ought to listen to this because once you get it, you're going to be accountable for for it. Because I know you ain't looked at it this way, because you think just because you can vote, you can vote. But there's still a regulation that should rule your heart before you cast your vote in that voting booth. He said, forget not my law. He said, but let thine heart keep my commandments. Oh, oh, so do I need to keep the principles and standards of the commandments even in the voting booth? So I need to vote against polygamy because the Bible said in the Ten Commandments, hallelujah, not to covet another man's wife. Wait a minute, that means I gotta vote righteous. I gotta remember God's law, his constitution, the Bible from COVID to cover, Genesis to Revelation. I gotta vote for the candidate whose heart is most likely to abide by what God says. Oh my God, here we go. Verse 2. Y'all don't like me. I'm— it's okay, it's okay. Again, I'm not a Democrat nor Republican. I have a bibliocentric worldview. Hallelujah. I have an apiocentric, an apostolic-centered worldview. I have a propheocentric, a prophetic-central worldview. I have to go with heaven. Verse 2 says, if you do this— watch this— not if you vote in your flesh, but if you vote according to Constitution. Verse 2 says, for the length of days and long life and peace shall they add to thee. So you want peace, you want safety, you want long life, you want a candidate that's going to lead according to the heart of God. You need to keep the law when you go in the polls. Oh my God. Verse 3: Let mercy and truth not forsake you. Bind them about your neck. Write them on the table of your heart. So, so does, does that mean I can take mercy and truth off of my neck when I go to vote? So that means if somebody's promoting gay marriage Oh, that's not the truth that's around my neck. The truth around my neck said a man should not lie with another man. That woman— I know we got— and you weak preachers out there, yeah, I called you weak. My— the address of our church is 5300 Frontage Road, Suite A. You got a problem, come see me. I'm gonna lay hands and cast that devil out you. But at the end of the day, you weak preachers to get members, and you say, oh, it's the love of God. It's the grace of God. He loves the homosexual too. Yes, he does love the homosexual, but he hates homosexuality. He hates lesbianism. He doesn't hate the people that do it. He hates whoremongers. Let me tell you something, if I can't be a whoremonger and sleep around and gotta be faithful to my wife, you're not talking to me here. If man can't— if I did that, y'all not talking You would nail me to the cross. Yes, you would. I know it personally, you would. But at the end of the day, we want to stand up and preach and say it's okay to be gay? No, it's not okay. And I'm not supporting anything that goes against scripture. Oh boy. Well, he said, put it on the table of your heart. It's right anyway. And some of you gonna do what you want to do because you say, it's my vote, it's my business. Listen, like anything else, you— it is sin. You're missing the mark. You're coming short of the glory of God when you vote against God's plan and his will. Oh boy, somebody said that Michael Woods is crazy. Yeah, I know, but I'm gonna tell you the truth. I'm gonna tell you the truth for real. First number 4, because y'all don't like to read the Bible, you want to listen to CNN, you want to follow tweets. Listen to the Bible before you pick a side. Pray that the heart of the king be turned the way the Lord wanted. Watch this, he said, if you— he said, watch this, verse 4. He said, thou shalt find favor and good understanding. Oh my God, when you do the truth and law and commandments in all things, you find favor and clarity with God and man because you're doing what's right. Oh my goodness. Wow, wow. You want favor? Y'all walk around, 'Favor ain't fair.' Really, favor is fair. Favor comes to anybody that does the right thing. Somebody coined that because they heard Bishop Jakes say it. Just because T.D. Jakes said don't mean it's right. That ain't correct. Favor is fair because God has no respect of person, and anybody that lines up with the principles that produce favor They're gonna have favor, they're gonna have clarity, they're gonna have good understanding. So it is fair. Hallelujah. Then we gotta stop saying stuff because we heard somebody popular say it and think it's right. No, read the Bible. We got to go with what the scriptures teach. Lord have mercy. All right, I'm almost done because you see, you again, you— this is the mindset. You have to vote with God, not with what you think, not with CNN, not with the Democratic Party, not with the Republican Party, not with the independents. Vote with God. You are elected. How do you do it? First, first 5: trust in the Lord. Trust in the Lord. Trust what he says. Trust him to turn the heart of the king. Trust him, glory to God, to anoint the king to lead, to rule, because it is God that sets one up and takes another down. Trust God and his word to do his part. Pray about it. Be a nation of priests, a nation of intercessors. Be holy. Now let's try that. Be a holy nation. Come on, I'm almost done. He's just— the Lord, what? With all your heart. That means in election season too, you got to trust God with your heart in elections. Let him lead you. Some of you have been so inebriated with the way you think you ought to vote, with what your history says you ought to do, maybe because of your skin color. Whether you're white or black or Asian. You may think, I gotta vote for the person that's gonna represent my race the best, when really there's neither no male nor female nor color in God. All humankind is one color— red blood. The blood makes us all equal. We're his family. We gotta go by what the scriptures teach. Hallelujah. Trust in the Lord with all your heart. Watch this, here we go, here we go. And lean not thine own understanding. Are you hearing me? And lean not to thine own understanding. Don't lean on your own clarity. That's what understanding is here in Hebrew. Byanah, that's what it is. Byanah in Hebrew, it means don't lean to your own discernment, your own faculties, your fleshly intellect. Don't lean on that. Don't lean on what you heard the news say. Don't lean on what all your friends saying, what everybody's talking about. Don't lean on what the news media and the newspapers and all of the outlets are reporting. Here's what you got to do. In all your ways, the Bible says, acknowledge him and he will direct your path. So wait a minute, you can't vote just because you can vote for who you want to. The scripture says in all your ways acknowledge him. So even in this inaugural season, I cannot prophesy to you— and I'm through for tonight— God wants to do something on the mountain of politics. And in this election, it is important that we have an individual in the seat that's not afraid to ascribe to the heart of God, that's not afraid to yield when the dealings of God come to them. We gotta pray about it. Let's not be reckless. Let's trust the Lord with our nation. The Bible says he's the king of the whole earth. Let's be kingdom citizens and let's advance his will, his way on this planet. Let's pray tonight. Father, in Jesus' name, I thank you for this word. I sincerely thank you for every person that's under the sound of my voice. Father, yes, we are in an inaugural season. And Father, I'm praying that as I have taught this word tonight, if I said anything that offended anyone, Father, forgive me and let them feel your love. But I believe that I have spoken the truth in love tonight. I pray that your people will hear and they will apply your word, that people will not do what they feel like they want to do. But they will acknowledge you. And so tonight, we acknowledge you, and we ask you, Father, to direct our path in our vote. Direct our path to select the king that you know will submit to you, to select the king that will carry your agenda and represent what you stand for. Speak to us, Father. We give you glory, we give you honor, we give you praise. We're just referees with two teams in a conflict, with, with two agendas, two sets of personnel trying to reach a goal. But God, help us to impose the rules of heaven on these teams. And Father, may the team win that embraces you. Father, I pray for our nation, and I yield myself as a servant, and I pray that those under the sound of my voice will yield themselves as servants to trust you in all they do. And I give you praise for that. Now we thank you for what's to come. I declare that what's to come is better than what has been. I decree that this nation will have great peace. It will have great economic increase. I decree, God, that poverty will be dealt with. I decree and declare that sickness and disease will be eradicated. I thank you that COVID-19 will be brought under subjection in the mighty name of Jesus. I glorify you for it, and I thank you now. In Jesus' name, amen, and thank God. God bless your hearts. Thank you for joining us today. Listen, if you're here and you're not born again, maybe you're watching this live tonight and you say, Michael, I don't know the King. I want to understand what it means to be a kingdom citizen. I want to be led of him in what I do. Well, if you're here and you stayed through this message, I want to pray with you. It's really as simple as this. The Bible said if you believe in your heart and you confess with your mouth that Jesus died and that he rose again, the Bible declares you will be saved. So I want to pray with you tonight that you will be saved, you will be born again, and you will receive the Holy Spirit into your life to lead you and guide you into all truth. If you're still watching, or if you're listening to this podcast and you don't know the Lord Jesus, I want to pray for you right now. Would you bow your heads? Say this with me. Say, Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, I repent of my sin. Say, I believe that you died and rose again I thank you, Lord, for coming into the world to save me. Say, I believe that you can save me. Say, Father, I repent of my sin. I receive you now. Say, fill me, Father, with the Holy Ghost, in Jesus' name. Amen. And thank God. Listen, if you prayed that prayer, hallelujah, I want to tell you tonight you're saved, you're born again, you are in the family of God. I want to help you continue to walk with God.
