This is Dr. Mike Woods. For those of you who are uninitiated, thank you for joining us today on the Apostle's Table.

Listen, I'm replaying today a message that we preached this past Sunday entitled The Elected and the Elección. You know, we're in election year, and this election is spiritually important as God is wanting to transition some things on the mountain of government and politics, and it's gonna be very important that we be in tune with the Spirit when we go to vote. You know, back in 2016, God gave me a word concerning the election, and it was, you know, kind of similar to where we are now. We really did not have an ideal candidate, and we need to really hear from God on what do we do in this season. Hopefully this message will be a blessing to you. You are the elected, and we are about to go through another election. How will you vote? Who will you vote for? Let's take a look at this, and maybe, just maybe, this word from heaven will help navigate you through the political arena and make a spiritual decision as you move forward in this political season. And we thank you for it. Now, now, Lord, as we plunge into the heart of your word this morning, let us experience the light, the illumination, and the intelligence of the Holy Spirit. Do something man cannot do. Saturate the walls of this place and even more saturate our minds and open our hearts to receive. Thank you, God, for the light and the illumination and the intelligence of heaven, that it superimposes itself upon us now. And we give you praise that that same intelligence, God, would supersede my personal intelligence. And we give you praise that we will hear from you. In Jesus' name, thank you for it. Amen. And thank God. Well, will you clap your hands today and give God praise?

He's worthy.

He's a good God. Thank you, Father. Oh, he's worthy. Glory to God. Thank you, Jesus. He's a good God. Thank you, Jesus. And I, um, I've been teaching a series on Supernatural Supply, but this morning I want to really visit something that I think is important for where we are right now, and, uh, I'm just going to prophetically plow through it, but I know if you, um, stay with me, you'll be blessed. Praise God. Um, I want to welcome those who are watching us live. Glory to the name of God. Thank you for being here. Please share this video. Glory to the the name of God. I promise you, if you share it, you'll be blessed. The Bible said we're blessed to be a blessing, so plant this seed in the life of somebody else. And I think the whole nation needs to hear what the Lord is about to say, um, because we're in a very serious time. This, this election, um, is a very serious election. Um, very important. Yes. And as I watched the debates, you know, I'mma just be honest with you, I, I saw just two clowns, man, that have no ability to really run our country as leaders. Mhm. And They just are not presidential in any sense. So I began to pray. I'm like, Lord, you know, I don't see anyone that I can vote for, period. Um, I said, well, I need you to show me because I'm perplexed in this, what's going on. And the Lord took me back to a word that he gave me back in 2016 when Trump was running against Hillary. And we're kind of in the same situation. Yeah, we didn't really have a good candidate then. And so the Lord took me back to that word he gave me in 2016, and, uh, luckily I never preached about this word. So again, I'm just going to prophetically plow today, so y'all stay with me. And if I will put a title on it, I'm gonna put a scripture on the end. Is that okay? I'm just going to go through prophetically what the Lord gave me, and then I'll put a text on the end. But God took me back as I watched the debates and watched, uh, the deception. You know, deception is different than a lie, okay? Okay, a deceived person They have no idea they're wrong. Matter of fact, they believe they're right. And when I looked at this debate and looked at these two guys, they're both deceived. Yeah, they both have been led to believe that they have the ability to run a country. Trump's been deceived for 4 years. Yeah, and now Biden is on the same bad way, deceived. So let's, uh, listen to this word, because as I begin to pray and as I watch these clowns— and I'm sorry, listen, because we need to get this. Amen. We'll miss this. Amen. Because this is important, because some of y'all think you're a Democrat, some of you think you're a Republican, but I want to tell you, you're neither, because your government is out of this world. So let's go back in. As I watch these guys, these kids, these clowns, I begin to pray. The Lord took me back to this word in 2016, and let me, let me, uh, let me read it because I wrote it down. I never— I don't even think I posted this in 2016 because I went back on my timeline trying to see if I actually posted this. I never even posted it. It's something God said to me. I wrote it down and I acted accordingly. Glory to God. So I want you to hear this because it applies to right now. It's amazing. Lord said to me, he said, Michael, I need you to be keenly aware that a nation void of leadership is a nation headed for destruction. He said, son, consider a church without a pastor. He said, consider a choir without a director, a child without parents, a school without a principal, a workplace without a supervisor, and etc. This is what the Lord's saying to me. He says, son, what is worse than all of these is a person occupying a place of leadership who is not qualified to lead. Oh my. He said neither of the American candidates are qualified to influence the world to follow their vision. And this is in 2016. He said because of America's disobedience here, and in particular my leaders and my lovers He said America now is in a position where they must elect someone to lead, and neither of the candidates are qualified. Here it is: nor are they my choice. Because I heard somebody saying that whenever somebody's elected, they get in office, it's God's choice, it's God's will. Well, Israel wanted Saul, and God's choice was David. Yes. Y'all don't say much. All right, somebody say, you've asked for Saul, so this is what we're gonna give you. Yeah. So because of America's disobedience and their lack of spirituality, and in particular how the church— there's been a watershed A watershed washes things. It's like a shower, it washes things. There's been a watershed that has come through the church and put a muzzle on the mouth of leaders to actually declare what is truth. And because we do not speak to systems of the world, we speak inside of our four walls, but because we don't deliberately speak to systems in the earth They do not respond to us. Amen. They do not respect us. And God says we got to take our place and start opening our mouth. So, so let's— let me break this word down and show you how it applies to now. He said— and that's just the first part, so let me break this part down and I'm going to the second one. He says, first of all, a nation void of leadership is a nation for destruction. And we've seen this. And I'm sorry, I, you know, I'm glad Obama was elected. I voted for Obama, you know, because people ask me, why you vote for Obama? He Black, that's why I voted. I have no other reason, because if I would have checked out every other thing that he stood for, I wouldn't have voted for it. I mean, see, when it comes down to you being a kingdom citizen, it really ain't about who you vote for, it's about how you vote. Yes, you have to vote educated and in alignment with kingdom principle. And then you need to use a prophetic discernment. Yes. Oh, who you vote? Now listen, All practical intents and purposes, Obama did some things that were good, but then he did some things that were totally anti-biblical.

Yes, for real.

I know we love Obama again. Yeah, he was— he's the first black president. We shout about that. Glory to God. Yes. But at the end of the day, he made some anti-biblical things. He did some things that God was not pleased with. Amen. And then you got a group that will say he was doing what God wanted, just as ignorant as they want to be, because the scripture clearly states that a lot of things that he did— first of all, he lied a lot, things he said he would do in his campaign. So, so I'm going back to him because any leader that operates from their flesh and does not talk to God about how he leads will never influence people toward godly things.

Amen.

Now that— and the fruit of that is what they do.

Yes.

So here's where the church failed. The Bible said the heart of the king is in the hand of the Lord. Yes, and he turns it any way he chooses, but he won't turn it if we don't ask him. We were so caught up in the fact that Obama was black. Oh, he's just gonna be right. He is from heaven. He black. He in the White House. Glory to God. How many black folks you done had to pray for? That wasn't the president. I'm telling you right now, the fact that he was Black should have made you pray a little more. Glory to God. Because at the end of the day, the reality is he was a human being who was subject to flaw. Yes. And we should have been praying for him. And God knows, as much as folk hate Donald Trump, we should have been praying the moment he announced his candidacy. I was praying, God, this is for real, this is my prayer. I was like, Lord, either change his heart or impeach him. When he got out, I said, Lord, let them put him out because he doesn't have no heart. But collectively, the body of Christ, we just complained about him and didn't really talk to God about it. And I know this because of the outcome, because the Bible is right. God can turn it how he pleases. It's either we didn't pray or God chose to just let him be the way he was so that we would pray this time. Yeah, are y'all hearing me? God will put you in a situation to give you another opportunity to react correctly. This time we must pray. That the king's heart is turned toward God. Now let me read the other part of this. He said, my son, here's what you must do. This is what he said to me in 2016, and what you must tell my people. I did this too, to the best of my ability. He said, number one, you must preach the kingdom like never before. My entire message, my entire ministry has— wherever I've traveled, wherever I've gone, in churches I planted, whatever I've done, it has been rooted in the kingdom of God. The kingdom of God is God's rule and authority, his dominion through his people. The Bible said the kingdom of God is within us. So when we receive the gift of the Holy Spirit Hear me, the governor of the kingdom is the Holy Spirit. He's in us, that's God in us. And so God begins to communicate to us through the Holy Spirit on how to advance his kingdom in the world.

Amen.

So I began to preach, you know, about the governor of the kingdom. I started preaching kingdom messages like never before because at the end of the day We have to get a revelation that our King is Jesus Christ, regardless of who's sitting in the White House.

Amen. Praise God.

See, that has to be the concept. So if he's in control, our goal really— hear me— is to live in such a way, with such authority, such dominion, Thus this church called Rhoda Church, Dominion Church, because at the end of the day, that's God's mandate for us to advance his kingdom, kingsdom, his dominion in the earth. We should be in control. We should live with authority and resources. Hallelujah. That the world comes to us when they need something. Watch this, the world should be coming to us. Watch this, I believe that we need to be in such a position that every president elected, just like in the Old Testament, calls for real prophets, real apostles, not just somebody that want to just be in the White House and be friends with them. And say they went to the White House. But somebody's gonna tell the truth because somebody should have told Trump these last 4 years, man, something's wrong with you. Somebody's just— I mean, really, he needed a real prophet in his ear that wasn't afraid to tell him the truth. He probably would have fired them. They never would have went back. Been the only visit they had. But at least they would have had that opportunity to tell you. I know I wouldn't have went back because I'd have had a list. He probably stopped me midstream and said, get this guy out of here. Yeah, because I told him everything what the Lord would have put on my heart to tell him. Yes, because at the end of the day, governments of old understood that they could not function without heaven. Oh God, I'll say it again. Governments of old, they understood, they comprehended that they could not function without Heaven. You know, it's probably because most believers feel like they can function without heaven. They do it every day. They never talk to God about controlling their life for real and allowing him to do it. God is more interested in relationship with us than giving us a whole set of rules that we follow. Religious people follow rules. And they don't know God. They go through motions and they really don't have God as a leader in their lives. But he said, preach the kingdom like never before. Two, he told me to tell the people to position themselves— hear me— as kingdom citizens versus American citizens. Y'all heard— y'all hear me say this all the time. I was born naturally in Grady, downtown. Glory to God. But my citizenship comes from heaven. I originated—

well, praise the Lord. I pray that that message, hallelujah, was a blessing to you as it was for us. Listen, I'm gonna pray with you because I believe that God, hallelujah, has your heart, your mind, your soul in his hands.

Praise the Lord.

Let's pray. Father, in Jesus' name, we thank you for the word today. I thank you for every person that heard it, every person that listened. I pray, dear God, that you would move by your Spirit and grip their heart, God. Hallelujah. To follow after the things that pertain to the kingdom. I pray, God, that as your word says, as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. May we vote like sons and daughters in the family of God. And ultimately, God, we know that you are our King, but you are the King of Kings. And so we pray, God, as you said in your word, the heart of the king is in the hand of the Lord. You turn it however you please. God, I pray for these candidates now. Turn their heart and their mind toward you. Turn their sensitivity toward the things that pertain to you, and we give you praise for it now in Jesus' name. Amen. And thanks be to God. Well, I'm so glad you took the time to join us today.
