Well, praise the Lord. Tonight, this is Dr. Mike Woods. For everybody that's uninitiated, welcome to The Apostle's Table. I'm so glad you're here, so glad you're taking the time out of your evening just to share with us. Look, do me a favor as you're coming in. This, this is going to be a quick, very important word that I think you need to get out and share with everybody you possibly can, because there are some dangers that I want to discuss in sowing discord. This thing, it is a common thing among the saints, and it just should not be named among us. I want to share with you that whenever the spirit of discord enters into any situation— watch this— it comes for the sole purpose of eliminating the opportunity for accord. The direct opposite of discord is accord. Those are two things that are inept to each other. They cannot exist together. So when the spirit of discord shows up, it starts disqualifying people for accord. Accord with who? Accord, number one, with each other. Whenever there's a dischorder in the midst, somebody that's spitting poison, that's leaving snake eggs in the head, that's gossiping, that's creating negative vibes, uh, you're dangerous. And at the end of the day, God has a remedy for you. The bottom line, I need you to get this tonight, is that you can't really function in a kingdom assignment, carry out a kingdom purpose if you don't have accord with the right people. I'm gonna say it again. You gotta have accord with the right people. I'm gonna say it one more time. Please share this. Please share it, 'cause people need to hear this. You need to have accord with the right people that God has ordained to be in your life. And then you've got to have accord with God. But if you are sore of discord, it forfeits that. So once this spirit is recognized, hear me, guys, it is very important that discord— listen— be discarded. I'm gonna say it one more time because somebody missed it. Glory to God. It is very important that discord be discarded. Discord, D-I-S-C-O-R-D. You got to D-I-S-C-A-R-D it. Discard it. You got to get rid of it, dismiss it, destroy it, because it can kill everything you're trying to build, everything you're trying to establish. And I'm talking to some people right now that's watching this live or by replay, or maybe you're watching this clip You have some people who've entered your world and they've come on— oh my, sheba, brihi, rosh keba— they've come on assignment from Satan to sow discord, to bring disunity in your movement, disunity among your people, disunity— watch this— from God. They want to get you so messed up that you miss the plan. But there's some dangers, and I want to discuss them with you tonight. Then I'm going to read a scripture, and I'm going to be done. So, man, we had such an awesome time at church today. It was amazing. Make sure this week you watch the series that I'm teaching. Listen, don't— if some of you've already voted, and some of you voted without education, you voted out of your feelings, out of your flesh. But at the end of the day, God is neither Democrat nor Republican. He's a theocrat. Uh, he does not participate in homocracy. Homocracy is, uh, political parties. God is a theocrat. He's a ruler, and we are subject to his rulership. Make sure you watch, glory to God, this week. I'm going to replay throughout the week the— on the Apostle's Table, I'm going to replay the teachings I've been doing. I've done 3 messages so far on the mindset of the elected in the election. You got to grab it. So let's, let's, let's just, again, let's, let's divulge into this discord thing tonight though, real quick. I got to get out of here. I got to go. I promise you, I got to go tonight. Listen, you, you, you got to recognize again that once the spirit shows up, you got to discord it. Discord has to be discarded. You got to get rid of it. You got to identify quickly, get rid of it, and watch this, mark the dischorder. Because at the end of the day, everybody needs to know this person is, is of Satan and they come to cause confusion, especially if they don't repent. All right, so let's move. Here we go. Now, there are some dangers in this, right? So discord, again, heavy among the saints, it's a problem. The first thing discord does it causes— watch this— distraction. Because the most, most of the time, the person that's carrying the spirit of discord— and watch this— it takes a human to carry this. Okay, I'm gonna say again, it takes a human to carry this. And we're gonna see in a minute when I read the text, this spirit is worse than murder. Okay, because many times what you don't understand, when people sow discord, they have to live with the results the discord brought. So it's best to move in discernment, identify this thing early, and get rid of it. Hear me good. So the first thing it does, it causes distractions. Oh my God, distractions. Because the disorder wants attention to be on them. So whatever they have to do to divide you from the plan, divide you from purpose, the whole— my God— character of the spirit is to turn attention on itself and to promote its agenda. So what it does is it divides you from authentic purpose, authentic ministry, authentic business, Authentic relationships, whether it be your marriage, whether it be with your boyfriend, your girlfriend, it comes to divide you and get you distracted and focus on something that they feel like if they give you this poison is going to distract you. Oh my God. From winning, from moving forth the way God would have you to move forward. So that's the first thing it does. It distracts. Watch this. Then the spirit, what it does, it opens the door to discourage, not encourage. It discourages. It creates a dissatisfaction that takes your encouragement, something you once was excited about, something you enjoyed being a part of, people you loved being around. The discarter cannot stand to see you happy. So what they do, they show up and start putting snake eggs in your head, start planting poison in your spirit. And just because they were stupid enough and dumb enough to not plug in themselves, they don't want you happy because they mess up every relationship they have. The people who carry The spirit of discord cannot stay in solid relationships. Lord have mercy. People who carry the spirit of discord, hear me good, ladies and gentlemen, they cannot— hallelujah— maintain longevity in relationships, friendships, partnerships, because they're constantly seeking to satisfy their flesh and to feel better than everybody else. And they can't stand to see you moving forward. They can't stand to see you progressing. So they're trying to tear you apart from the thing that's making you happy. It's a danger, y'all. And so this is dangerous to connect. That's why you got to recognize this spirit early and discord it. You got to discord the disorder. You got to discord the spirit because you need to have the liberty to move forward. Discorders, they discourage you so that they handcuff you to their perception of the reality of the situation. Oh, oh, oh my, oh my, oh my. And they want you to stay locked down in their reality. When really their reality is not reality at all. So discord is— here we go, this is the danger, this is the dangers that this— when you connected to them, when you listen to them, when you watch this. Oh, Lucifer in the Garden of Eden, that's what he did. He sold discord between Adam and Eve and God because he wanted them to buy into his agenda, his plan. And thought, oh my goodness, goodness, I'm working on you. So the discorder brings distraction, gets you distracted, breaks your focus. That's his desire, because he wants you to buy in and be miserable like him. Secondly, the discorder discourages. This is the danger. Watch this. But thirdly, after you get discouraged, after you get distracted, now It creates a spirit of delay in your life. It causes delays. Now you are delayed. Things that should have taken 6 days now take 6 years, or things that should have took 12 months now take 12 years because you locked into the distraction. You got distracted and you start wandering. Wait a minute, let me give you an example. The Israelites in the wilderness for 40, 40, 40, 40 years in the wilderness for 40 years when they could have got to the Promised Land in 12 days. Why? Because they were discouraged and they were distracted by— oh my God— by their fear, which caused them to be— oh my God— discarded from God. See, they feared confrontation with the Moabites, the Amorites, the Jebusites, and the inhabitants of Mount Seir. So they kept going in opposite directions, conflicting to being in accord with God because they were afraid. That spirit got a hold of them that caused discord between them and God. Now they got a major delay, taking 40 years to get somewhere they could have went in 12 days. Listen, don't— listen, many of you should have been way further than you are now. You should be progressing. You should be more successful. You should have more money in the bank. You should be meeting your goals, your dreams, your aspirations. But you are not because you've allowed a disorder to come into your life and disconnect you. Ha! Glory to God. From God's plan, God's idea, and handcuff you to them. Now you're delayed. I'm telling you, you gotta discord the disorder. I'm gonna read the scripture at the end, I'm almost done. So the disorder creates— hallelujah— distractions. The disorder causes discouragement, and then the disorder brings you into a season of delays. But watch this, when you get delayed, you often are tempted to make detours. Wow, wow. So now, because the discord— this is all because you let a disorder in. You listen, you bought in to the disorder lies, you bought into the disorder's insecurity. Now you're delayed, and now you're taking detours, you're taking shortcuts trying to get somewhere that you gotta endure a process to get to. You're trying to jump over a season. Oh my God, that you jumped out of too early. So now you're trying to skip it and get to something that you think you're ready for and you're really not ready. You're trying to start doing something and you start embracing all these other things. You can, you can align yourself with other people, Eva, who are being successful and think just because you're around them that you're gonna achieve what you need to achieve, but you won't get it because you still got a piece missing, because you let the discord in to take you out of what you needed so you could move forward. Lord, help us today. I gotta go. I don't have time. I— Lord, I could teach this all night, but I don't have time. So it creates distractions, it creates discouragement. Delays, detours. Watch this. When you detour long enough, it ultimately causes death. Death to your dream, death to your vision, death to your purpose, death to God's plan for your life. Now let me read this scripture in Proverbs 6. Because it's, it's dangerous for you to connect with discorders. Watch this. And it's dangerous for you to be a discounter. Proverbs 6. Hallelujah. And verse 19. My God, watch this. Matter of fact, let me just start at verse 16. We'll read 16 through 19. Watch this, y'all. It says the Lord hates— that's a strong word for the Lord because he's a God of love, but he's making it clear right now what he hates. He hates it and he condemns these things. He says, in fact, 7 are detestable to him. Verse 17: He hates 1, arrogant eyes; 2, a lying tongue; 3, hands that shed innocent blood; 4, a heart that plots wicked schemes; Oh my God. Feet eager to run to evil. A lying witness who gives false testimony. Father, forgive us for the things you hate. You ought to repent right now if you find yourself in any of these categories. God, we are sorry for doing the things you hate. Watch this. And one who stirs up trouble among the brothers or sows discord. Among the brethren. God hates it. Oh my God, the Bible says that God will cause calamity to come upon the one that sows discord among the brethren quickly. It's a dangerous thing. So I'm telling you tonight, I felt compelled, hallelujah, to get on here and share this tonight, Sunday night. Listen, don't be a sore of discord. I love every one of you. I challenge you to search your heart, and if you are a person that divides someone's loyalty to something, I need you to repent before God and say, Lord, you're sorry for being a disorder. And if you are— every— or if you are listening to people who are bringing things to your ears and putting snake eggs in your head that disconnect you from God's purpose, God's plan, and the people that God wants you to be around. You need to dismiss yourself. Discard them. Discard them and dismiss yourself. I love y'all tonight. Y'all sleep well, and my prayers are that you would have a supernatural week this Sweet.
