The DEVIL is DEFEATED! | DR. MIKE WOODS, SR.

Well, grace and peace everyone from our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I pray that you are well on this, the Lord's Day. This is Dr. Mike Woods, for those of you who are uninitiated, and welcome to our Kingdom Bible Study. Listen, I am so excited as always to share the word of the living God with you. Listen, do not scroll, stay right here because there's something tonight that's very special that's going to bless you. You know, tonight the Lord instructed me to do something a little different, so we're going to just obey and stay in that vein. You know, we, we're in this series on When God Wins. Well, God said to me, uh, earlier this week actually, he said, son, I want you to, uh, stream the message Satan's Assignment Has Been Canceled. And here's why: there are many of you who don't understand the attack you're under. Your finances are under attack. Your family is under attack. All hell is breaking loose on your job. All hell is breaking loose with your children. But I want to serve notice on the enemy tonight. No weapon formed against you is going to prosper, and the assignment of the enemy has been cancelled. So right now Guys, do me a favor. I want you to share this for real. Tag someone below because there are people that are going through silent frustrations. They're going through silent trials. There are people even right in your family. You don't even realize that there are things they're dealing with that they haven't told you. There are things that they're contending with that they haven't even discussed or talked to you about. Listen, I need you to share this with as many people as you can tonight. This message is going to be a tremendous blessing. Listen, before we go into the message, I want to read a scripture, and I want you to just grab this really quickly tonight. Again, go ahead, hit that share button, comment below, let us know you're here. But I want to go really quickly to, uh, praise God, uh, 1 Peter, uh, I think, uh, 3. Yeah, 1 Peter 3. And no, I'm sorry, 1 1 Peter 5 and verse number 8. 1 Peter 5:8. The Bible says this, it says, be sober. It's talking to you and I, the believer. Be sober. What do you mean? What do you mean? Let's break that down. Nepho in Greek, the word nepho means to be discreet. It means to be circumspect. It means literally to pay attention. And I believe that we have a lot of believers in this hour. Yeah, I'm already helping somebody tonight. Who are simply not paying attention. The Bible tells us to pay attention. You need to pay attention to the times. You need to pay attention to what's going on around you. Pay attention to your finances. Pay attention to your children. Pay attention to your spouse. Because you never know what is happening with people. So you got to be sober. You cannot be intoxicated by the latest fad, by what everybody else is doing, by trying to be popular. Trying to get likes and clicks. Listen, you need to be sober so that you can be prepared for what's coming against you. So be sober. Then it says to be vigilant, vigilant, vigilant. Be vigilant. This word is gregario in Greek, which means again. So he tells you, be sober, pay attention. But this means to stand watch and guard. A Gregorian watch means that you stand guard. You're actually looking for enemies. Can I tell you something? If you are alive, and especially if you are anointed, and if you are gifted, you, ladies and gentlemen, have enemies. So you need to be vigilant. You need to take up a Gregorian place and look for the enemies because they are there. They want to tear up your marriage, they want to tear down your finances. Listen, everybody that smiles in your face is not for you. I'm gonna say that again. Everybody that's laughing and cackling and giggling with you is not for you, and you need to be very careful of the enemies that are lurking around. Who want what you have. Be vigilant. So he says, be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary— the word adversary is a very powerful word. Antidikos, antidikos, or antidikos, which means your opponent.

Oh boy, glory to God.

I'm telling you, because you are saved because you are born again, Spirit-filled, full of power, full of the anointing, full of authority, have purpose and a plan over your life. There is an opponent that doesn't want to see you win. Glory to the name of God. He said you need to be sober, be vigilant, because your opponent, the devil— notice clearly he identifies who your opponent is. Is not the person that's hating on you. It's not the person that's lying on you. It's not the person that's spreading the rumors. They are just vehicles that are being— it's not the person that's jealous of you. It's not the person that's smiling in your face and stabbing you in the back. Your opponent is the devil. He's just using them. It's not the problems you're having in your finances. It's not the problems you're experiencing in your marriage. It's not the problems you're experiencing with your children. Your adversary is the devil. He's using these elements to get to you, to break your focus, to— oh my God— take you back eventually to what God has brought you out of. I gotta get out of here, guys, because I want to get into this message tonight. He said your adversary is as a roaring lion. Didn't say he was a roaring lion. He said he's as more. He roars like he can kill you, like he can destroy you, like you're not gonna make it. Oh, he's just faking. It's just good acting. So that circumstance may appear— watch this— as you're not gonna win, as you're not gonna come out. I'm here to tell you, you coming out. And I want to declare prophetically tonight that you're coming out Tonight. So don't scroll, stay with me, watch this message through. Stay— listen, if you ever watch me completely on the Thursday night, tonight is the night you need to. Glory to God, because something is going to happen that's going to transform your life tonight in a— oh my God, I love Jesus. Glory to God. In a very significant way. He said he comes as a roaring lion. He's not one. He walks about seeking whom he may devour or destroy. Listen, the devil does not play fair. He's coming to kill you. He wants to kill your purpose. You know why? Because purpose is the key to fulfillment. My late spiritual father, Dr. Miles Monroe, made a deposit in the world concerning purpose. Many grab the principle and the concept, but many do not understand how to actually activate purpose in your life. The first thing you got to realize, purpose never is manifested because you decide. Purpose is not your decision. Purpose is your discovery. So you have to first discover the purpose, the plan that God has for you. And the discovery of that purpose— watch this— alerts the enemy. That's why you got so much hell. You wonder why you look at people who don't seem like they never go through nothing. Most of those people don't have unique, authentic purpose, or they've gotten to a point in their life they've given up on it. But those of us who still believe that the purpose is real, the adversary is coming. Glory to God! You have an opponent that wants to pull you away from what God has ordained for your life. He's your adversary, and he is the devil. But I want to tell you tonight, his assignment has been canceled. Let's jump into this message tonight. It's already in progress. This is a teaching I did in— at Rhoda Church Jackson. Actually, I was in the Mississippi church at the time teaching this. Listen, you need to jump in this word tonight. Get it, grab it, eat it. All right, the Bible says he that commits sin is of the for the devil sins from the beginning. For this purpose— say this purpose— purpose, the Son of God was manifested that he might destroy the works of the devil. I'm going to read that again cuz it's just all to read the Bible.

He that commits sin is of the devil. That's clear, right? For the devil sins from his genesis. For this purpose— say this purpose— the Son of God was manifested. That he might destroy the works of the devil. Just for a few moments, y'all, I promise, just give me a few minutes. I'm going to talk from this thought. Say this with me. Say, Satan's assignment in my life has been canceled.

Has been canceled. All right, all right. Come on, say it again. Say, Satan's assignment in my life, in my life, has been canceled, has been canceled.

I need you to believe.

The Bible said for this purpose the Son of God was manifested, uh-huh, so that he can destroy—

that's right—

or cancel, uh-huh, the assignment of the enemy. Let me begin by saying this: the devil does not play there.

That's right.

The devil is real.

That's right.

So there's two things right there I just taught you. One, he do not play fair.

That's right. Amen.

The enemy hates people of purpose.

Right. Right. Amen. Right. That's right.

Hard crowd tonight.

Glory to God. Just touch yourself and say, I'm a personal purpose. I'm a personal purpose. And because of that, say this, say, the enemy hates me. He cannot stand the fact that you are called of God, anointed of God, that you are saved.

That's it, that's right.

Because first of all, the devil is a dumb devil. He started out as Lucifer. He's already in heaven.

That's right, that's right.

He's already there. That's right, that's Lucifer, right? How are you so stupid that you get kicked out of heaven? 'Cause we live every day, watch this, not trying to get to heaven, but to bring heaven to us.

Uh-huh.

Y'all missed that. See, the religious person is living as an escape artist trying to leave earth.

Uh-huh.

One of the problems with the body of Christ, you got your bags packed, looking out the window, waiting for the rapture. And most people got saved because they think it's a fire escape. They're trying to miss hell, right? You ought to be saved, one, because there's a real God, and two, you can actually have heaven on earth. Okay, again, hard crowd. You can have heaven on earth for real if y'all don't believe it, right? So the only difference in heaven and earth— watch is God. But you got, you got gold— hear this— in heaven.

We got gold on earth.

And if you get enough gold, you can make some streets of gold right here. You ain't got to go there to get on streets of gold. They got rivers in heaven. We got rivers on earth. They got trees and Pearly gates. We can get you enough money, build you some gates of pearl. You ain't got to go to heaven to get a mansion. Get you enough money and buy you a big house. The only difference in heaven and earth is God. So if I got God and I can bring the Spirit of God into my prayer closet, into my time of worship, into my services that I So you ought to be living to experience heaven here. You ought to be saved to experience heaven here. And so what the enemy does— oh God— he launches attacks against our life because he doesn't want you to know God for real.

That's right.

That's the whole goal. He wants to get your focus off reality.

That's right.

God is a greater reality than what you call reality. He's real for real. I'm gonna give you a few things and I'm gonna break this text down about the enemy. First of all, the devil, he distracts.

That's right.

That's what he does first. He comes to get you distracted.

Say distractions.

Distractions can be fatal.

Yeah, there's some young people here, so maybe y'all ain't seen this movie, but there's a movie called Fatal Attraction.

I haven't seen it.

Okay, so chick was crazy, right? You gotta watch how you get distracted. But watch this, your distractions can be fatal to your destiny, to your purpose, to your life if you get distracted by the wrong thing. So you got to decide, I'm gonna stay focused and I'm gonna keep looking to Jesus who's the author and finisher of my faith. Let me tell you what the devil does. The first thing he'll do to distract you is start telling you what you're unable to do because of where you come from, because you're watching, because of your skin color, because of your gender. So you get distracted paying attention to these voices that ain't even nothing but a fairy tale, because he cannot tell the truth. Or he'll get you distracted thinking, you know what, I gotta sin, I, I gotta— I'm human, so I, I'm always make a mistake. That's a distraction. Cuz you ain't got to.

That's right.

It's a choice. You can stay focused.

Y'all ain't got to say nothing.

You, you can stay focused, but you get distracted cuz you look too long. Y'all got to say nothing. See, see something. See, this what you do all day, your phone. And you stay on Instagram too long, you going to run across some stuff.

That's right.

Y'all ain't got to talk, that it gets you distracted.

That is the truth.

Some of you have been distracted so long, Jesus, it has created a huge delay. Jesus, because distractions lead to delays. So now what you trusting God for seems like it's taking forever. Jesus, because you've been focusing on the distraction. Matter of fact, can I submit to you, most of the people in the body of Christ are behind schedule. Things that they've been praying for and hoping for, they should have already had, but they haven't received them. They've been delayed because they're distracted. God says, I've been wanting to give you this money. I've been wanting to give you a husband. I've been wanting to pay off your debt, but I can't do it. Oh, y'all not saying nothing here. Because if I do it for you now, you'll get distracted and start worshiping the man, worshiping the money. That's why you got to stay focused.

That's right, that's right.

Oh my God, I pray that you're being blessed. Oh Jesus, by this word tonight, I mean, it's blessing my socks off. And you know, even though I preached it a while back, it's relevant for now. And I, I can understand why God had me to share this with you tonight. Some of you are right in a position where you need right now for the assignment of the enemy to be broken. But listen, I broke in here really quick and we're gonna get right back to the message because I wanted to pause here a moment and God put it on my heart. I wanted to break in and just pause a moment because I want to challenge your hearts. We usually don't take time like this with this during our live streams, but we need to tonight. I want to take a moment to challenge you to sow seed tonight. Listen, at the end of the day, you are blessed when you give. The scripture says it is more blessed to give. Don't scroll, don't turn. We're going back to the message, but some of your breakthrough financially is not gonna come until you position yourself as a sower. Whatsoever a man soweth— this is scripture— that shall he also reap. Nothing leaves heaven until something leaves earth. And I believe that there are a group of people watching me right now, even live or by replay, replay. You need a breakthrough financially, or maybe you don't necessarily need a breakthrough to pay your bills, but maybe you have a dream and a vision, or for a business that you're trying to scale to another level. Matter of fact, while I'm talking, I believe that there are going to be people that are either live or by replay right now that are hearing my voice that wants to start a business or scale a business to 7 figures plus annual joyfully. I believe that your business can drive a million dollars in revenue. I believe you need God on your side to release the favor to help you make that happen. So I want you tonight to not take what I'm saying lightly. Glory to God. Irregardless to what you've given in the past, hear me, I want you to think right now about this moment, and I want you to understand that as you release your— the ways to give are on the As you release your seed in the ground, as you release it from your hand tonight, here's what God says. Number one, it's moving into your future. It's leaving your hand but not your life. This seed is moving into your future, waiting for your arrival. Hear me, guys, listen. It's not leaving your life. As you release this seed God said it's moving into the future. When you get there, number 2, it's going to be multiplied— watch this— 1,000 times more than it is right now. God is setting you up, hear me, for breakthrough in your family, for debt-free living, for prosperity in your business ventures, so you could move in the marketplace with with power, authority, and you could see the hand of God like you've never seen it before. So it leaves your hand but never your life. It's moving into your future, waiting for your arrival. And then, and again, number 2, when you get into the future, it will be multiplied a thousand times more. And finally, the Bible says, number 3, he that is willing and obedient shall eat the fat of the lamb. Glory to God. And I'm telling you right now, these next 60— oh yeah, I hear you, God— the next 60 days are gonna be filled with fatness for those of you that will move in obedience right now. There's gonna be some wide doors, some wide opportunities that are gonna open for you. Because of your obedience. Listen, I need— and I hear that, Father, I hear that. I need every person that can make the sacrifice. And a sacrifice is not something you specifically have. It's a sacrifice to get a seed right now of $121 in your hand, and I want you to sow it. Listen, I— what— no matter how you got to do it, whether you got to do it through Cash App whether you got to do it on our website at rhodachurch.com/donate, however you need to do it tonight. I want you to get seed in the ground. I want you to get that seed in the ground and make a sacrifice and trust God. I'm gonna pray right here, and after I pray, I want you to get that seed. I thank you for your people, and I decree and declare that what they're giving now is gonna come back to them good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will men give to their bosom. I thank you that this seed is leaving their hand but not their life. I thank you for those that will plant that seed of 121 $1,000 tonight. And those that may not have it, that they will make a sacrifice with as much as they can. Hallelujah! To trust God sacrificially, to trust you sacrificially. And I thank you that as they move into the future, the seed will multiply 1,000 times more than it is. And I declare it now. I thank you for businesses that will grow to 7-figure businesses. In the mighty name of Jesus, I declare to be so. Amen and amen. Glory to God. Listen, the ways to give again on the screen. Get your seed in the ground. Glory to God. Let's get back into this message while you're giving. Glory to the name of God. While you're trusting God, listen, if you don't have the $121, get as close to it as you can and make a sacrifice. Remember, it leaves your hand but not your life. It moves into your future, waiting for your arrival. Listen, I love you. Let's get back in this word, and don't go anywhere. I love you. Yeah, some of you should have already been living in happiness and full of joy.

That's right.

But you got distracted focusing on the problem.

That's right.

So the enemy comes, that's what he does, he gets you off focus of God, starts focusing on the issue, and you get distracted, you get delayed. Watch this, while you're delayed, you end up—

here we go—

taking detours. You start taking shortcuts, you start trying to make yourself a prophet, make yourself— it's a terrible self-appointed spirit in the body of Christ. You start trying to be things you're not to make up for the delay. But can I tell you something? In the kingdom, there are no shortcuts.

That's right.

You got to go through the process. Watch this. The process, every step of the process qualifies you to keep what you're going for. See, when you start overstepping things and doing stuff prematurely, Just create delays and setbacks because you're trying to make a name for yourself.

That's right.

You're trying to create a platform. You're trying to have a stage, and you're not ready for that. Go through the process and get qualified. Him who he calls, he also qualifies. So the qualification is not gonna always be what you like. So you kind of make up in your mind, I'm not going to take these shortcuts and try to build my own ladders and get ahead of God. I said a lot to a lot of these young preachers, they run so fast, right, and then they get there, but then they don't have the grace to be sustained there because you outran the grace. And you got to keep going through the cycle until you get qualified. Let me keep moving because I'm bored, y'all. You get distracted, you get delayed, you start taking detours. And watch this, once you start taking these detours, trying to get there in your own volition. Mhm.

Oh God, come on, come on, come on.

You're setting yourself up for failure, right? Matter of fact, a detour suggests you're in your own way. That's why I started laughing, because we— this stuff we can't blame the devil for. All he did was distract you. That's right. You bought in, got delayed, Jesus, started taking detours, and then ultimately you self-destruct. Jesus, you have an implosion in your destiny, not an explosion. The explosion happens from the outside. To implode— Lord have means that this thing broke down internally. It wasn't the devil, it was you. You, you are in your own way, and, and you don't understand why the things you're praying for ain't happening. God says, I need you to move so I can bless you. So the devil distracts. Say, the devil distracts. The second thing he does— and I'm gonna be where I need to be once I get the text, I'm done.

Hallelujah.

He defames, he uses defamation to slow you down. I always say your gift will open doors and get you in places that your character will remove you from. I can say that. I've been there. I've lived that. I've been preaching 35 years full-time. I planted 8 churches. I have a collaborative of sons and daughters who are connected to me. At the end of the day, I made mistakes in my process, so I can talk about this. The devil will use your weaknesses to expose your bad character. Oh, you only got to say nothing. And then he'll turn around and here you go again in the way and use the character you refuse to fix to defame you. Watch this, we talked about this this morning, and take away your credibility. See, if you don't have credibility No one's gonna listen to you, right? No one's gonna want to deal with you because you destroyed your credibility. Come on, come on, we'll get where we need to be. All this is in this text. I'm telling you, he defames you because you open that door, because you just love doing the things that displease God, and you keep playing the grace card. Like it's a spade. Okay, yeah, I can do that. Then you play the grace card, you hurt yourself. So say, the devil defames. Watch this. Some things, because he can't tell the truth, right? So when he says something about you, all he can say is what's really real. He distracts, he defames. Number 3, I'm almost done, he depresses. We got all this talk about mental health, and I'm a champion for mental health. I believe people ought to be healthy in your mind. I believe that some things ain't demons.

That's right.

Some things are real psychological debilitating issues that need real attention and healing.

Right.

Well, here's the catch. If you tarry in a psychological issue, it's called idleness. And the Bible says the idle mind is the devil's workshop. So if you keep tarrying in it, the enemy comes in. Watch this. And then what he immediately does to the depression, he brings with him suppression. Which means he supplies pressure to make you feel comfortable and normal in a mindset that's not normal. When you get to that point where you want to stay in the bed, put the covers over your head, keep all the windows closed, don't answer your phone, you've entered into suppression. You're suppressing an issue that you need to face. The enemy hates to be confronted, right? Can I— oh, I hear that, God. Can I submit to you tonight? If you face it, God will fix it.

Amen.

You ain't even got to fix it. Just get bold enough to face it. God, you're just— you don't want to bathe and you're going through all that, then you're suppressing this thing. And that suppression— here we go— turns into possession. Now the demon is in control. So you got to stop it when you get depressed and decide this ain't me. You got to shake yourself and decide, I'm gonna move forward. There's nothing in your past that God will ever use to determine your future. Oh God, God will never look at your history to decide your destiny. He's never gonna start checking your history and decide, okay, well, I ain't gonna let you go where you want, but the devil will make you feel like life. Because I did this, I can't have that.

He's a liar, man.

This is a tough crowd tonight. This Saturday Night Special, my God. Saturday night in Mississippi. Can I tell you something? Your depression— watch this— it means that you decide. D is a decision. Watch this, to push against a planned outcome. God already planned the outcome for you, okay? Jeremiah 1:5 says, before I formed The word form is yetseb in Hebrew, which means before you became a living chromosome, before you knew anything neurology, anything respiratory, anything cardiovascular, you were a spiritual being that God knew. The word new is yada in Hebrew. It means that he was intimate with you. Intimacy is not sex. The word intimacy means intimacy. So he opened your life up and started making deposits and plans before you ever born. He said, I knew you. Which means basically yada in the biblical sense means to be impregnated. So he didn't have sex with you, but he impregnated you with purpose.

That's right, that's right.

He impregnated you with destiny. That's why you're not a mistake, you're not junk, you're not a flop. You— wait a minute— you're supposed to be be here. My mama was 14 when she got pregnant with me. My daddy was 17. My mama tried 9 times to abort me. I'll be looking at her crazy. I'm like, Mama, what?

Really?

What's on your mind? But dog, after twice, you should just help me. I'm just gonna keep this baby. But you really— I felt, I felt some kind of way for a long time. Glory to God.

But God knew.

He had already made a deposit in me. So every time she tried to abort me, even the abortion doctor could not get rid of me because down in my soul was destiny. Oh, y'all ain't got to say nothing here. You're supposed to be here. I tell you that. I tell you right now, somebody some of you don't even know, you pregnant right now because of what God knew before you got here. I tell you, slap somebody and tell them, I'm pregnant and I know who the daddy is. Y'all just hear that? Y'all just hear that? Just holler at somebody on the other side because that first person ignored you. Say, hey, did you hear Hear what I said.

Tell them, I'm pregnant and I know who the daddy is.

I'm telling you right now, you're carrying a purpose, you're carrying a dream, you're carrying a destiny, you're carrying an anointing, and God is the daddy of your baby. Clap your hands and thank God for what you carry.

We do have good sense, okay?

We don't want to scare people away. Just rub your belly and say, I'm pregnant, and God's the daddy. You ought to— you next time you feel like giving up and get depressed, you just rub your belly. Look how I'm sorry and feel the baby kick. Look how I'm sorry. There are days I don't want to go to church, I don't want to build another church, I don't want to preach again, but I'll just hear that baby kicking in the spirit and I got to go and to do what God called me to do. I'm telling you right now, there's something in you that the devil's mad at.

Glory, glory to God.

Yes, my God, they'll depress us.

Thank you.

He wants to possess you so you won't give birth to what God knew. Before you were ever born, he said, before I formed you in the belly, I knew you. Then he went a little further and said, I sanctified you. Sanctification is not a long dress, no makeup, no earrings. I grew up in that church, I learned real fast, man. It was just as much hell on the long dress as it was a short dress. It just took that one with the long dress a little longer. You got to talk to me here, cuz if you ain't changed in your heart— to be sanctified means to be set apart.

That's right.

For an assignment from heaven. Watch this. Say, I'm set aside.

I'm set aside.

So I have no time I have no right to be depressed. I've been set aside for something special. See, an assignment is the problem— hear this— you were created to solve.

Yes, that's right.

So when God knew you, he created you to solve a problem. Everybody in this room—

that's right—

was created to solve a problem.

That's right.

Doctors solve medical problems. Preachers solve spiritual problems.

That's right, that's right.

But they should. Bankers solve money problems. You should never talk to anybody about your problem that's not qualified to solve it.

That's right, that's right.

The only thing that qualifies them to solve it is that God gave them the sanctification to solve your issue. If you broke, why you sitting up talking to somebody else broke about your money problem? If I'm wrong, tell me the last time you talked to a broke person got off the phone and had some solutions to the money problem. You need to talk to somebody that knows how to teach you about investing, about real estate, about going into business, about expanding your money and building generational wealth. You need to talk to somebody that can solve that issue.

That's right, that's right.

Here's the thing, you got to find the problem. Them. You were created to solve. Can I submit to you tonight? You are a life jacket to somebody drowning.

That's right, that's right.

You need to find them, cuz they waiting on you to pull them out.

All right, all right, all right. He sanctified Jesus.

He said, I sanctified, then I ordained He said Jeremiah, a prophet. You may not be a prophet, but there's an ordination, an order, a structure, that's right, a system that's already designed for your life to unfold.

That's right.

So instead of trying to get to the next meeting to get a word from the prophet, what you need to do is get on your face and take a trip back to your Genesis. And ask God to show you the assignment, to show you the ordination, to— watch this— to show you what he knows about you.

That's right, that's right.

Your life goal should be to see yourself the way God sees you.

That's right, that's right.

You have to choose to live for the audience of one. He's the only one that truly knows you, and you shouldn't plug into anyone that don't know what he knows about you.

That's It's dangerous because when you start fooling with people that don't have a revelation of you based on God's view of you, they're gonna create their own perception of you, and ultimately they're going to violate you. Because where there's no revelation, there's always violation. So that's why I stay clear of people to whom I have have not been revealed. Can I tell you something? You're so awesome, you're so special that you can never be recognized. You have to be revealed. Oh, glory to God! I dare you tell somebody, you can't recognize me, homie. I have to be revealed. Stop trying to size me up. You better talk to God about me. Glory to God! Because people will come with their own perception. And that's how we mess up.

They end up violating us, hurting us, breaking us, cuz we let people in our world. Jesus!

So the devil distracts, devil defames.

You have embezzlers. God knows the people I've had work for me that have stolen. There's nothing on somebody's resume that tells you, or in an interview, that's tell you they're gonna steal from you.

Look up equipment missing, money missing, because because they, they were embezzlers, people that steal from their employer. You have bandits. A bandit is like a burglar. You don't case out your house. He's a punk. He ain't gonna rob you like a robber. He's strategizing when you leave, watching your moves. He the dude that's gonna come through one sneak in. That's what this thief in the text is.

He's sneaky.

He needs idleness.

He needs a door. The thief comes to steal, so he starts stealing through that process, and then ultimately through the defamation, through the distractions, through the depression, he ends up killing your passion. The worst thing in the world is to lose your passion for what you know God is telling you to do. If the devil can take that from you and make you settle—

you're supposed to be an entrepreneur but you still clocking in. Because you lost your passion because you went through a few processes where you failed a few times and the business didn't work. You tried it, you just— you know what, this just ain't for me. But you know what you got to learn to do when the devil sees you down? And you know, you just got to get up, dust yourself off and say, look, I failed that time. But I'm gonna keep going. But I submit to you tonight, for real, the only way you gonna lose is if you quit. The only way you lose is if you stop. But if you keep going, you're gonna bounce back eventually and you're gonna win. Just touch yourself and say, I am a winner. Say, the thief won't steal nor kill me. Cuz if you give in to what he kills, if he kills your dream, kills your passion, kills your desire, he ultimately destroys you. Yes, he does. There's so many people that die and never fulfill their dream, never move in the purpose that God has for them, have a lot of good church and go to the grave never fulfilled.

That's right.

I don't want that because I'm here for a reason. I want to fulfill every ounce of what I'm here to do. Matter of fact, when I go to the grave, I want to go I don't want to take nothing with me. I want to leave everything on this planet. Just elbow somebody, say, die empty. I told the leaders we were teaching this morning, I said to them, I said, listen, you are here to finish something.

That's right.

And watch this, to dominate in a way that you feel fulfilled, that you can— you're ready to go after you've done it. But if you don't have purpose, that's when you die.

Your heart stops beating when you lose purpose. Matter of fact, the only reason your heart beating tonight, because you got an assignment, you got purpose. That's why you look around and COVID killed so many people and you still here. Something to rejoice in, 'cause any one of us could have died of COVID 'Cause I don't know how many times I got it. Every time I got it, I just started rebuking it and praying and kept it moving. 'Cause I just refuse to accept—

oh, y'all ain't got no talk— that my purpose was over. I realize I can't die. There's still too much in me. Let me tell you something. I was on a plane one time And the engine to my right, I looked at the woman, it was straight on fire. And they were trying to keep it on the down low. They knew what was going on. The pilot was bringing in— finally somebody else saw, and these people start freaking out. You know what I did? I said, Lord, I know it ain't my time. I got too much to do. I told the guy next to me, I said, this plane ain't going down because I got too much purpose. I said, you got on the right plane today. Oh, you haven't got to talk to me. Glory to God. And when we landed, y'all ain't got to say nothing.

The pilot said, I don't know how we had such a safe and smooth landing with one engine. I said, I know how, because I got on this plane because I got I got to finish. Can I tell you something? Nothing is ever as big as it first seems. Stop freaking out and panicking when trouble shows up. You better learn how to rejoice. You better learn how to be thankful to God when you cannot see the outcome. And you gotta know that no matter what it looks like, God Hands you up. So he wants to destroy. Let's talk about this assignment being— say it's canceled. So the devil can't destroy me because his assignment is canceled. I read it in the beginning. The Bible said he that committed sin is of the devil.

Okay, this word committed there is a Greek word called eo, and this Greek word means that you prepare in advance to do a thing. This means that you decide Not you messed up, but you woke up and said, I'm gonna sin today. You made the plans, you got the room. Y'all ain't got to talk to me.

The Bible said that you enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season, but you need to work hard.

To mortify the members of your flesh.

Cuz the Bible say he that committed sin— let's stop at sin. The word sin is harmitia in Hermesia is not just the big sins that you think, adultery, fornication, lying, cheating, all that.

Hermesia is sin, period.

That's right.

And it literally means to miss the mark. So even if you ain't in the bed with somebody and you're not fulfilling your purpose, walking in your assignment, oh You are committing sin. You're missing the mark. And watch this, the Bible said— I didn't say it, don't, don't shoot me, uh-huh, uh-huh. All right, please, please don't wait for me outside with stones in your purses and start throwing them at me. The Bible said that when you miss the mark, it categorizes us. Yes, it says you are the devil. When I was falling and making mistakes, this is the scripture that broke me because I didn't want to be categorized as one who was of the devil.

Preaching. But God said if you sin and miss the mark, you're the devil. Prophesying, casting out devils, y'all ain't got to talk, but still of the devil.

Watch, somebody say, how do you do that? The Bible said in that day Many will come saying, Lord, Lord, Lord, did not I cast out a devil? Did not I prophesy? He's going to say, depart from me. If they word again, I never knew you, cuz you didn't align with what I knew before you were born. Your work was of iniquity. In other words, it was without boundaries. It was lawless. Watch this, it didn't bring me pleasure. In other words, I used you and then refused you. God cold, man. He, he said, I'll use you because I need people to get help, and then I'll turn around at the end and say, uh-uh, I don't even know you. Are y'all hearing this? That's why the Bible said mortify the members of your flesh. Every morning you need to get up and put— mortify means kill it. Whatever your issue is, doubt, fear, kill it. You may not be doing what the other person doing, but you need to examine yourself and make sure you have not been categorized with the devil. That's right, the devil, the D-Evil. Evil means injury. So whenever you move into sin, you're injuring not just your purpose, but watch this, you're injuring every other person that's connected to you. He said, for the devil sins from the beginning. He missed the mark from the beginning. But here we go. For this purpose, the Son of God was manifested. Say manifested. Pharamu in Greek, and it means he was made visible. He was made alive so he could destroy man. The works of the devil. I'm closing. A lot of times when I travel, sometimes the flight is delayed, and you go to the board looking for your flight and say, flight number 1792 has been delayed. But then if you keep looking down, there's some flights flights that are on time. When you look some more, you'll see some flights that have been canceled, which means nothing's going out and nothing's coming in. I'm telling you right now, the fact that you embrace Jesus, right, as your King, as your Savior, it's his desire to cancel the assignment of the enemy. But you gotta choose to stop agreeing with him and yielding to his temptation. That's why when Jesus was teaching the apostles to pray, he taught them— one of the stanzas was, 'Lead us not into temptation.' Because guess what? Temptation is coming. But his temptation is not easy. The word temptation is nasah. It means to test with what you desire.

Right, right, right. Come on now. Right.

The Bible said Jesus was tempted and tried on all points, yet without sin. Right. Which means Jesus wanted it, but he didn't take You can't be tempted with something you don't want. Listen, you can bring in here some Hennessy, some weed, some cognac, some vodka. You put all that in front of me and I'm looking like, man, bye, right? Because that doesn't tempt me. I don't want that anyway. I ain't never wanted that. Y'all ain't got to say nothing. I told y'all my wife got a gun, but I'm going to say this anyway. I might get shot later. But you put Beyoncé—

If you want to be free, you got to tell the truth. The Bible say you shall You'll know the truth, and the truth will set you free. You gotta deal with your issues head on and say, you know what, I'm human, and this thing is tempting me. God, deliver me. You've got to make up in your mind, yeah, I see it, but I don't want it. And you've got to decide, I'm not going back to what God delivered me from. Oh, y'all ain't got to say nothing. You got— I don't care how fine it is. I told the devil a long time ago, I refuse to go back to what God delivered me from. I refuse to return— y'all ain't got to talk to me here— to a place where I'm falling and messing up and repenting and crying. I love purity. I love watching God use me in chastity. I'm not giving the devil no opportunity. Listen, he uses the deception. Let me tell you the other thing he uses. He uses fear.

Some of you afraid to give some stuff up, and you keep committing that sin because it's comfortable to you, it helps you. Oh, y'all ain't talking. Yeah, you know that married man you talking until he married. I don't care what bills he paying for you, y'all. I'm up in here right now. Don't make me ask you to stand up, but I'm in here.

Because you, you want to feel love, right? But if he love you— because a real man is going to be 4 things to a woman. One, he gonna be priest, so he has the ability to intercede for her. He has the ability to take his woman to God. And lift the burdens of her life in prayer. But he ain't being no priest to you if his very presence in your life is a burden.

You going to work every day, come on now, here at home, sit on the couch with the remote.

All day watching TV, playing PlayStation. You say you want love, but soon as his bipolar narcissistic self gets angry, he yells at you, says abusive words to you because you're Your presence, your security intimidates him, but you're afraid to let go. The devil's a psycho. I'm canceling it tonight. You don't have to accept that.

Power, love. God says he loves you for love alone. That love there is agape, unconditional. That means you ain't got to do nothing. He just love you. Isn't that some good love? You ain't got to put out, you ain't got to buy nothing, you ain't got— you ain't got to do nothing but just show up. Listen, that person is your ex for a reason. You got to let them go. That thing is over. Glory to God. And some of you have slept with people and you've had soul ties enter your life and you're still connected to them because you became one with them. You connected them— connected with them through a sexual soul tie. However, whether it's family, psychological, emotional, or sexual, no matter how it entered, I I want to pray for your deliverance because I feel strong tonight that there are many of you that are watching me. Hear me, that are watching me tonight, you're, you're bound by some soul ties that's hindering your progress, that's hindering breakthrough. But Satan's assignment in your life is canceled. Somebody watching me, you have some financial difficulties occulting that's connected to a demonic attack. It's connected to some, maybe some act of rebellion, of disobedience in your past. I want to pray that that curse be broken and that the blood of Jesus would liberate you and set you free tonight. Glory to God. Some of you watching, the enemy has attacked your family. Glory to God. There's an attack against your children an attack against your parents, an attack against your siblings, or an attack against your spouse or your marriage. Listen, I declare tonight that Satan's assignment is canceled, and no weapon formed against your house will be able to prosper. Let's pray. So Father, in Jesus' name, we come against now every soul tie. And Father, we decree and declare whether that old tie entered our lives sexually, emotionally, psychologically, got through family ties. We decree and declare now that no longer will these bondages or these vestiges of our past be able to stop us from being progressive in the kingdom. Matter of fact, I declare now that every person under the sound of my voice is is free from soul ties. And I declare that that thing will never hinder their progress another day in their life. Matter of fact, right here I break every generational curse, and I decree and declare that the curses of our forefathers and our ancestors are broken now in the name of Jesus. How dare we pray to someone that released a curse on us, but God, we pray to the true and living God, and we say that healing and deliverance is the children's bread. And we declare tonight that every curse is broken because cursed is he that hangs upon a tree. And we declare that through your efficacious, vicarious, substitutionary blood of Jesus. Oh my God, we are free and we are liberated in Jesus' name. And furthermore, God, in the name of Jesus, we come against every financial— so, um, attack of the enemy. We declare that every financial attack of the enemy is canceled now. God, we decree and declare that we are liberated Your word declares you would that we prosper and be in health even as our soul doth prosper. So Father, I declare tonight that we are prospering, we are winning, we are overcoming, God, in the name of Jesus, that our soul is prospering as we've been liberated from soul ties. We're increasing more and more every day, for this is your plan, this is your will. And Father, we even thank you right here for the system of giving and receiving, for it is your way of getting the resources of heaven to us so we can thrive on earth. Eh, glory to God. And it's not your will, because we're under the blessing and not the curse, for us to toil for things that we need or things that we desire. No, we have the desires of our heart because we delight ourselves in you and your way of doing things. So Father, right there we break every financial bondage and vestige that's on the life of your people even now. We rebuke lack, we rebuke poverty, and we declare that there is freedom now in the name of Jesus. I declare it to be so. I say it is so. I say it is so. I say it is so in Jesus' name. I decree and declare, God, hallelujah, I come against every— whoo— attack against the family, every attack against the single person. Matter of fact, I pray for singles right now. I declare they're single but not alone because you're with them, and I rebuke everything that's trying to to control their life through their sexuality. I rebuke the spirit of fornication and whoremongering. I rebuke the spirit of homosexuality. I rebuke the spirit of lesbianism and perversion. And I decree and declare that we're being liberated. Your people are being liberated even now in the name of Jesus from these demonic forces. And I declare that singles will live lives of purity and chastity in the name of Jesus. And finally, God, in Jesus' name, I declare financial breakthrough for every person under the sound of my voice. I decree and declare that Satan's assignment against our finances is canceled. We don't lack a thing, neither do we have a care. I decree and declare we'll never be broke another day in our life. I declare that the the heavens are open and the blessing of the Lord that makes rich and adds no sorrow is overtaking our life. I rebuke the mindset of poverty. For I decree and declare now that we will realize that money is not currency, our mind is. And so Father, touch the mind tonight. Satan, we cast you out of the mind and we declare We win, and we declare that Satan's assignment is canceled in our life. In Jesus' name, amen and amen. Listen, guys, I pray you receive your victory.
