The Faith That Takes, Part 5 | Dr. Mike Woods, Sr. | 23 Feb 2025

The recording opens with an extended worship segment in which the congregation repeatedly praises God using the name “Abba,” expressing devotion and surrender. The worship transitions into a sermon by Dr. Mike Woods Sr. titled “The Faith That Takes,” in which he defines aggressive, commanding faith as a faith that issues commands to God and expects obedience, drawing on military analogies and the Greek term kaleo (to call or command). He identifies slothfulness and disobedience as primary spiritual enemies that hinder such faith, urging believers to feed their faith through the Word and to speak decrees that manifest health, prosperity, and deliverance. Biblical support is cited from Romans 4:16, the centurion’s faith in Matthew 8, and John 14:13‑14, emphasizing that spoken words in Jesus’ name are commands that must be aligned with Scripture. The sermon includes personal anecdotes (military service, pastoring experiences), practical “declare and decree” prayers for healing, financial breakthrough, and family blessings, and a series of spoken commands for specific outcomes. Interwoven are strong social and cultural opinions: criticism of LGBTQ inclusion in churches, commentary on political figures, and a call for doctrinal purity. The session concludes with a collective prayer, further declarations, and a final exhortation to give generously, citing biblical teaching that giving is more blessed than receiving.

I'm making all things new.
Hear it.
I'm making all things new. The Lord says, I'm making all things new. Yes, God.
I'm not making Just touch yourself and say new. Hallelujah.
Some things in your past, they need to stay in your past. Some people need to stay in your past because God says, I'm doing a new thing. I'm doing a new thing. Receive it in Jesus' name. Well, clap your hands everybody and give God praise. Hallelujah! Oh, how glorious he is! Oh, how wonderful he is! Thank you, Jesus. We bless him, we honor him. Why don't you give God praise for our worship? Glory to God. Thank you for a heart to worship, a heart to give him praise. I don't know about you, but I receive newness. Glory to God. We're going to continue our teaching on the faith that takes. Say that with me. Say, the faith that takes. And this morning I want to talk about— because one of the things I told you that aggressive faith is, or faith that it takes is it's a faith that commands. Say commands. Glory to God. Uh, Pastor Jeffrey was in the military. Brother Walker was military. Sister Walker was in military. Young Brother Walker's military. I was in military. We understand commands. Amen. So when someone who is in charge issues a command. They don't issue it in expectation that you not gonna do it. They issue the command with understanding that you understand the rank, you understand your duty to respond to the command, and they walk away and expect results. Are y'all hearing this? So there's— it's no different in the kingdom. When God issues a command, he's not hovering over us, babying us, seeing if we're going to obey the command. He walks away literally and wants you to move in faith and begin to bring the results that he told you to bring. Say that with me. Say, faith commands. So first of all, there are a couple enemies I want to give you to this commanding faith. The first one is slothfulness. Slothfulness is a real demon. It's a spirit. People have defined it as lazy, as inactive, as unengaged. But the word literally means to be idly unfocused, which means you're idle and you don't even have any clue as to how to move. So which goes to show you that even some lazy people, they're lazy because they have no sense of vision. The Bible says in Proverbs that slothfulness is one of the seven deadly deadly sins. It'll kill your future. It'll kill your dreams. You can want something, but if you don't work to go after it, it ain't gonna happen. You can dream it, you can envision it, you can desire it, but if you don't work and you allow slothfulness to keep you idle, if you don't stay focused— somebody say focused. I think I need to talk about focused faith. I'll talk about that on Thursday, because at the end of the day, our faith has to stay focused on the plan, on the command. But slothfulness will keep you thinking that the way it is now is how it's going to stay. But can I submit to you, the way it is now is not the way it's gonna be. Say that with me. Say, the way it is now, it's not the way it's gonna be. So once you grab that and you grab the promises of God, something in you should get a zeal that says, I'm gonna go after what God says is mine. And you got a great commander living on the inside of you, and you got to align with what he says and say what he says. Saying. So slothfulness is an enemy. It keeps you idle and unfocused. The second enemy— and we're gonna move— is disobedience. The Bible said them that are willing and obedient shall eat the good of the land. Two things there: willing and obedient. So watch this. First of First of all, it has been said that delayed obedience is disobedience. I believe that, but I also believe that partial obedience is disobedience. Oh, I'ma just do it a little bit, God. I'm gonna do it enough where I'm comfortable, but I'm not gonna go beyond what makes me uncomfortable. Are y'all hearing me? So you gotta decide either you gonna obey you're not gonna obey. It's just like being a little bit pregnant. You can't be. Either you pregnant or you ain't. So either you're obedient or you disobedient. Either you're all the way in or you're not. Touch yourself, say, I got to obey God. Because you can't embrace a faith that commands if you're not obedient. Watch this. Disobedience is rebellion, and rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft. So now you're working witchcraft on yourself. There are no candles, there's no goofy dust, there's no witches but you, because your disobedience— you start trying to control outcomes in your flesh when we should be controlling the outcomes from the realm of the spirit. Are y'all hearing this? So with that said, I want you to understand that your faith, first of all, it has to be fed. Say that with me. Say, my faith has to be fed. If you don't feed it, it's going to regress. Watch this. If you don't feed your faith, you're going to be slower you're gonna be disobedient, you're gonna have laid-back faith. You're not gonna have a tenacity to go after what you desire. Well, how do I feed it? Again, faith come by hearing, and hearing by the Word. So how can I operate in a commanding faith or aggressive faith that takes, and I don't know what I'm taking? All the promises are in the book. So let's go to Romans 4. We're gonna walk this out. Say, aggressive faith commands. Romans 4, and I think I want 16. Come on, all right, there we go. Are y'all got it? Romans 4:16. The Bible says, therefore it is of what? Faith, that it might be by grace. So here we go again. I can't operate in grace without faith. The Bible says here, it's first I gotta have faith. I gotta believe. I watch his faith. Pistis in Greek— I got to have absolute confidence, total reliance, total dependence on something I can't even see. That's faith, to leave what you can see and depend on what you cannot see. Oh, how many times have our dependency been rooted in what we see? and what's in front of us. But faith says I'm walking away from, again, the control of what I see. See, a lot of times we make our moves based on what we can tangibly see. Oh, and great things will never be accomplished if you're moving in alignment with what you see. Because watch this, any God dream, any God vision, you're never gonna have enough. I told somebody else that, I said, ain't enough people, bodies in the state of Georgia to really fund the vision that God has given me. Somebody said, that's a lot of people, Apostle. Yeah, it ain't enough because that's how big and massive my vision is. So I need supernatural help from heaven to help me do what God has called me me to do, and it requires faith in not in what I see. Listen, if I took my encouragement from what I see when I show up here on Sunday, I wouldn't come. Y'all ain't got to say nothing. My encouragement— I'm glad y'all here, thank you— but my encouragement is in where I'm going and where God is taking us and the works that we'll accomplish. Stop measuring your life based on where you are and what you can afford. Every time I hear somebody say that, that's saved, it makes me cringe. I start itching and breaking out and stuff. I can't afford that. Well, what God you serve? If God said you can have have it. Okay, well, the Bible did say a cattle on a thousand hills belong to him. The earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof. So that means it's yours, cuz God don't need earth. He created the earth for us. He don't need cows. He created them for us. So if he owns everything, he's my daddy, that means I got to access. So stop using language like, I can't afford that. Just get, just get in alignment with what your God is able to provide. I've determined I can have any house I want. Y'all ain't got to talk. I've determined I can have any car I want, because that's, that's in— those are tangible, incedimentary things to God, and it ain't nothing living for him. Felicia and I, when we was in Vegas, we were staying next to the Aria. We was staying in the Waldorf Astoria, which is an amazing hotel. But the Aria, it is one of the newer hotels that they built, and the Aria is like a $180 million building, and all they doing is sinning inside of it. Y'all ain't got to say nothing. And if If they can build a $180 million building for sin, what more can we do for God? I'm just saying, the reality is we shortchange our God, and folks that serve the devil believe him for everything. They'll even sell their soul. That's real. People do that. They sell their soul, they make blood sacrifices to— and they believe it. Watch this, they leave what they can see. It's a type of faith, it just ain't godly faith. They leave what they can see and start worshiping the devil and believe him to provide. Guess what he do? He take care of his own because he knows if I take care of them, they'll serving me. What more would your Heavenly Father do for you? So you get some faith so you can operate in grace. What is grace? That's charis. That's empowered toward righteousness. We talked about that last week. Grace is not just getting forgiveness of your sin. Charis was— what was like charisma. It's giving You got gift in you to fulfill purpose, to fulfill an assignment. So God is giving you grace to do something greater than you could do on your own. I'm just trying to show you it ain't about us and what we could do. It's not about how smart we are, you know. At the end of the day, people can be smart and dumb at the same time. People can have a degree and still be stupid. Y'all ain't got to talk to me. Okay, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, but there are some people who are degreed who have no sense at all. Bird brains is a better word for you. Okay, but there are some people people who have no degree, some of the smartest people I know, because they have aligned their life with God. Are y'all hearing this? Not against education, I got 3 degrees, but the reality is you— I'm just saying you cannot build your life on that. There's more. I, I was listening Stan message when he was here. He said he got a high school diploma and he been blessed to make more than a neurosurgeon. You know, a neurosurgeon— and that's because of supernatural connection, that's understanding who he is in God. You know, a neurosurgeon makes $350,000 every time they go in the operating room. So if they do 5 surgeries a month. Come on, man. The reality is God is bigger than what we can do on our own. That's what I want you to hear. You got a grace in you. Say, I got grace in me to do great things. Come on, say it again. I got grace in me to do great things. Watch this, watch what it says. It said, therefore it is of faith that it might be by grace to the end of the promise might be sure to all the seed. So in other words, every seed that— and he's talking literal here— your offspring. God says he wants to fulfill his promise to you so your children can see the promise of God being fulfilled on your life. So they'll want to live by faith. So they'll want to operate under the auspices of the Holy Ghost, because we can talk it and not manifest it. I heard a lady say a couple of weeks ago, uh, man, Felicia was at this thing. She heard her husband were talking and she said she— her father was a pastor. She's now pastor's wife, but she said her father was a pastor. And for a brief period, she left the church. And she said she left the church because the daddy, who's the pastor, was preaching one thing at the church and living something else at home. Oh, y'all ain't got to say much. So she said, you know, I don't want no parts of this because he's saying something, telling everybody else to do something, but he ain't doing doing it. You have to be an example to your children. Are y'all hearing this? An example of faith, not an example of slave labor. Oh, y'all ain't got to talk to me. And that's a good example because it gives us work ethic, right? But you need to learn how to couple that with faith. Because at the end of the day, if all you're doing is working with no faith, you're depending on you. You're making a linear income, which means you're changing your time for money. And okay, and that ain't what God wants of you, because you can never give enough time to get everything that God wants to give you. Some things are are going to happen supernaturally. So we got to see this thing through so that it comes forth. Watch this. Not to that only which is of the law. I just said it. Of what we've been given laws and parameters and boundaries. We've been taught how to do certain things. Work 9 to 5, get a check. That's a law that's embedded in us, right? Okay. Because it's more. I was sitting there listening to Donald Trump yesterday talking to the— whatever that conference he was at. He's very proud of a lot of things he's doing. And if a lot of people buy in, they're gonna get afraid because they don't have no faith. Because he's shutting things down that were crutches. This is an opportunity for you to believe God. Not get mad at him, because guess what? Getting mad at him ain't gonna change nothing. He gonna keep shutting stuff down. Okay, all right. He gonna, he gonna keep— he told the homosexuals, he said, look, you're fired. He said, y'all get out of here. We've eliminated all the DI. No more pronouns. You, you either you he or she. Are y'all hearing this? I don't care what y'all say. I I agree. Glory to God. Because they were— you don't get the same rights as me. You trying to say your rights as a homosexual or lesbian is equal to my rights as a black person? And that your civil rights struggle is equal to that?
No.
Oh yeah, no, no, no, no. You're operating in a perverted mindset. Said, that makes you feel entitled. And the reality is you don't get to be entitled because you chose that lifestyle, and you can't make all of us get on board with it because you want to do it. I mean, and even in the church, the church wants to take sides with this kind of immorality. You got pastors who have a first gentleman. It's ridiculous. Right here in this city, there's a church called Vision Church. This bishop says that he's a bishop in the Lord's church. They speaking in tongues, laying on hands, all in the familiar spirit. He got a first gentleman sitting on the front row, and he's teaching his people who are lesbians and homosexuals and transgenders to build families and go out and adopt children and raise them in perversion. So we're supposed to sit around and just act like that ain't going on and be quiet? And then I saw a video, he said, this is not a gay church, this is a prophetic church. Now somebody please share this with him. No, it's a gay church because you're 90% homosexual. Homosexual. Y'all ain't got to say nothing. And you're speaking to that demographic. Somebody— it's a prophetic church. No, it's a pathetic church. Okay, okay, okay. It's pathetic because we can't change this word to a— we got to finish what God told us to do. Watch what he says. He said, but to that also which of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all. There's, there's no change. Abraham's the father of faith. He believed God. He trusted God. He lived according to God's Word. He depended on what he couldn't see, not what made him comfortable. A lot of stuff God told Abraham to do made him uncomfortable. Get to a land you know not of. You don't know nobody, just go. He said, I'm gonna show you on the way where you're going. You talk about God trying to develop faith. He said, I ain't gonna tell you nothing, just go. Because if you got expectations, it ain't faith. Your only expectation should be on what God said. Yes. Okay, all right, okay. So this says to me in Romans 4:16 that faith that takes commands, because it commands a finishing or a finished work of what God has called us to do. The Bible says that we should speak those things that are not as though they were. Oh boy, here we go. So the things that God has promised us according to his word, we should be saying those things as though they exist, not as though we're hoping for them to happen. But we should be speaking it like it's already ours, like it already belongs to us. Are y'all Y'all hear? And when you call into existence the things that don't exist by speaking them through faith, what is happening is you're giving a command. The word kaleo in Greek, which means to speak or command— when it says speak not, command those things which are not as though they're here. Summon them them to come. Back to my military example, if I'm in the barracks, Pastor in the barracks, we're walking the barracks or officer quarters, wherever we at, if there's a command to go and muster and show up before a commanding officer, you have no choice. You, you, you need to be there because there are consequences for not obeying a command. They showed me real good, man, tell you, cuz when I, I was in ministry and when God started blessing my ministry, I started getting engagements to go speak. So I thought, okay, well, God's with me. I, well, I got this 3-day Revival. I'mma put in for 3 days of leave. I put in for my leave, it gets approved, I get 3 days. Well, we get to doing Revival, they want to extend the Revival, so I only have 3 days leave. So I called the officer, my commanding officer, said, hey, I'm in Revival. He said, no, you better get back, we need you here Monday. Well, I— now I'm at a point decision. I said, I'm gonna keep preaching because God's gonna cover me. I said, God's got me. I done preached, laid hands for 3 more days, got back to the base. That was known as— you need to go up here before the office, your commanding Officer, you have been written up for unauthorized absence. That's what they call it in the Navy, being UA. And I was blessed that he just gave me a warning. He said, you've been a model officer, and I never expect this from you. He said, so I'm gonna just give you a warning, but if this happens again, this is what's gonna happen. One, we're gonna take you down the rank and we're gonna dock your pay X amount of dollars. That's all he had to say to me. You better believe, I'm telling you right now, you better believe I— there's no more UA on my record. Nah, bro, you ain't touching my money. Okay, yeah, I got you, I hear you. The command is loud clear. But when you give a command by faith, you have to stand in expectation that what you're commanding is gonna manifest. So when you go to the doctor and the doctor say, well, okay, you— this is a report, you got high blood pressure, diabetes, and you got a lump on your breast, or you, you got this going on or that going on, instead of just accepting that The Bible says, whose report will you believe? That's a report. Okay, well, the Bible says we shall believe the report of the Lord. His report says healed. His report says I'm delivered. His report says I'm free. So I'm not gonna buy into the negative report. I'm gonna believe what God says. And so I'm gonna speak to my body and command it, even though the doctor's saying I'm sick, I'm gonna speak to it until it gets well. Are y'all hearing this? See, we accept stuff and look how quick we'll move to the doctor. Say, okay, you got diabetes and you need to take insulin. We hurry up and go get that. Vile, and we sticking ourselves every day. The devil is a liar. Glory to God. I, I got a testimony right there. A few years back, the doctor said, yeah, you, you, you're pre-diabetic. You need to take this, this, and this, and then we're going to put you on insulin. I said, the devil is a liar. I'm not sticking myself every day. And I said, I'm going to try I trust God. And when I tell you, I stand before you, my numbers are excellent. Hallelujah! Because I spoke those things that are not as though they were. I spoke to my pancreas that pumps out insulin and commanded it to work properly. You got to command those inseminatory things, those natural things, to obey the word of God. Look at your bank account and command it to increase. Are y'all hearing this? Instead of complaining about bills, getting scared about bills, lay hands on the bills. In the name of Jesus, I declare this bill paid supernaturally. I declare favor from the north, the south, east, and the west. Are y'all here? Watch this. So Kaleo called those things that are not as though they were. The Greek word kaleo means to summon, means to command. I'm, I'm almost done. It's an order to appear. That's what the word means. I'm ordering you to appear. Millions, I'm ordering you to appear. Healing, I'm ordering you to appear. Deliverance, I'm ordering you to appear. Breakthrough, I'm ordering you to appear. Debt cancellation, I order you to appear. And guess what? All it needs to be is in line with the the word. You're operating in lack? Command your needs to be met, because your God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory. You gotta call it and command it to come forth. We gotta stop accepting the report and operating this faith. We got to be aggressive. Operating in faith that takes. I don't accept that my children— glory to the name of God— will remain out of the kingdom because they were trained in the way that they should go. So every day I decree and declare out of my mouth. I don't ask God, I say what he told me to say. And I declare, as for me and my house, we shall serve the Lord. And I decree and declare that my children have a spouse that saved, sanctified, filled with Holy Ghost, already prepared for them. I declare that my children openly and boldly praise God. I declare, glory to God, that my children will rejoice, my children will worship, my children will fulfill purpose, my children will operate in kingdom living and prosperity in the name of Jesus. We don't have to accept Are y'all here? This kaleo also means— y'all excuse me for being so excited about that, but I'm telling you, I believe it. I believe it. I speak over my house, my marriage every day. I speak over my family every single day. Glory to God. I speak billions into my life every day. What do you want? Whatever it is, command it according to the Word of God. And I know, you know, people shy away from this kind of teaching because they don't believe you have creatorial power in your words. Death and life is in the power of your tongue. What Bible you reading? You, you can speak life. You have creation in you because the Holy Spirit lives in you. That's one of my daily decrees. I decree and declare I am a creator because the Holy Spirit lives in me. Most of the time we don't create and we're not innovative because we don't tap into the creative power that's in us. We gonna go, we gonna go, we gonna go. Go to 2 Corinthians 4:6, because basically Kaleo is saying you are hereby notified to appear. You better start speaking to stuff in your life. Don't accept that like, come, if you need money somewhere, you're hereby notified to appear. I've been speaking to the debt on our house, and I'm telling— and every day, you're hereby notified to appear where we can cancel all the debt on that house. Are y'all hearing me? And I believe God that before this year is out, that, that, that mortgage will be paid off completely. Completely. And then whatever we want to do next, we'll be able to do it without the bank. Because you got to know what kind of authority you walk in. The Bible said you should owe no man nothing but to love him. So if that's my right to be debt-free, I need to be talking to my debt. But we accept it. Watch this. The borrower is slave to the lender. Praise God. Glory to God. Hallelujah. 2 Corinthians 4:6. Let me go there. I'm just running my mouth and I didn't even go. Y'all there? Okay, please wait on me. I appreciate you. It says, for God who commanded— wait a Wait a minute. So this is how God does. God commands. He commanded the light to shine out of the darkness, hath shined in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. Watch it. So there it is again. Command, kaleo, the same as called. I ordered— he ordered light to appear. It wasn't no hard thing. He just knew he had the power to speak and light will come out of darkness. Guess what? You have that same authority in you to command light in dark situations. Watch this. Light here is illumination, is revelation. So even— so one of the things that will help you move forward is understanding that revelation Revelation always precedes manifestation. God's will can never be recognized, it has to be revealed. So when there's a dark situation where you lack clarity, you don't know the next step, you don't know what to do, you need to begin to speak revelation for— so you can get solutions to the darkness. Darkness ain't ain't sin. Sometimes you're in the dark because you just don't know what to do. You know, sometimes you can— you can— I was talking to one of my sons yesterday and, uh, he was telling me about a relationship he has and how this person just, just pretty much start ghosting him. You know, And, and when you understand the kind of heart this person has, he ain't— if he's constantly trying to stay connected to you, it's because he genuinely loves you and he really don't want nothing from you. But the reality is we have to learn that when we— even when we get dark situations in our life, when people unplug, people disconnect, we have to begin to call light forth and understand why God God removed them. Sometimes God removes things to make room for more. Every purging has a purpose. So when God purge people out of your life, stop running behind them. Please come back. No, let them go. People grown. You can't make people stay where they don't want to be. Are y'all hearing this? People dragging themselves down the street, please come back. No, accept that. Because here's what God does. He'll never take something away without restoring it in a greater capacity. When I was back in there, when I was pastoring our church in Jackson, I used to tell people, yo, if y'all leave, just wave at the new people coming in. Are y'all hearing that? Because you just making room for somebody else. Are y'all hearing this? Cuz the reality is God is for us. He's for you. And if you're in right standing with him— now, if you done did some craziness and run folk off, well, they might need to go cuz you crazy, but 'Cause, 'cause yeah, I mean, you just got to get away from crazy, right? That don't work out good for nobody. So sometimes you just got to get away from that. And if people just won't do right, you forgive people, you, you have grace for people, but then some people just keep doing the same thing. Then, you know, you got— you can't let somebody keep No, you can't do that. You got to decide. The religious church taught— in legalism taught people stay married no matter what happened. The devil is a liar. If a dude be— see, Absolutely. But the legalism taught was teaching, no matter what that man do, you stay right there. To death do you part. The devil is a liar. He beating you down. No, don't kill him. You need to get out of there. He doesn't love you. Are y'all hearing this? He can't stop cheating. He don't love you. Y'all hear this? You need to get out the door. The reality is, when we get in a position of acceptance of things and we get comfortable with stuff we ain't supposed to be comfortable with, you're no longer the victim. The enabler, you're the victimizer. You're victimizing yourself because you're staying in a position that you need to walk away from. You, you putting yourself under the umbrella of that abuse when you got the power the whole time to walk away. So we got to decide that we're not going to just take stuff because it's being issued. We got to command what's out there that, that was— that, that belongs to us to come. Glory to God. What do you desire from the spirit realm? What do you want to see God do? Go to Matthew 8. Almost done. I'm getting out of here. Matthew 8. I'm gonna go with y'all this time. Matthew 8. The Bible said— and this, we're just looking at this centurion's great faith. Say great faith. The Bible says the centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come come under my roof. I'm sorry, Matthew 8:8. I'll start again, y'all forgive me. Centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof. Watch this, but speak the word only and my servant shall be healed. You see, this is powerful. 'Cause people want you to come where they at. You know, listen, you can't make every hospital visit. Leaders, you can't go to everybody's house. Matter of fact, you probably shouldn't go to everybody's house because at the end of the day, you honestly are You're not operating in a place of power and authority when you feel obligated to be controlled by people. This is for leaders. This centurion had favor. He said, Jesus, you ain't got to come to my house. One, because my house probably nasty. You ain't worthy to come under my roof. Are y'all hearing this? It's too much going on in here, and I just don't want— some things you don't even want the man of God, the woman of God around. I'm just saying, I done been to folk house, I'm like, why in the world am I in here? But I was there to pray. But in there, you would think you pick stuff up out the floor. At least get your clothes out the floor that you got everywhere. Because the person sick ain't the one responsible for doing this. Somebody else there in the house. You ain't sick, clean up. So this man acknowledged, look, you ain't— I don't want you over here, Jesus. Because I, as a leader of this This is what I've learned. You could tell a lot about a person's character in their life when you go in their house. Y'all ain't gotta say nothing. Yeah, I mean, you could tell a lot about what's going on when you go in the house. So if you want people to come over, make sure your house is able to receive them and that it reflects who you you really are. Are y'all hearing this? Your lawn's so grown up we can't even get through the yard. I mean, we can't even see your house because your grass ain't been cut. Come on, you got to make it— yeah. So that people feel comfortable. But this man said, we ain't gonna even do none of that. We ain't cutting no grass, we ain't cleaning up. Jesus, just speak. He said, I'm not worthy, I'm in sin. He probably could have had a woman there, ain't no telling, shacking. Look, Jesus, don't come because you might not like what you see. All right, but here's his 'Speak the word and my servant will be healed.' Here we go. 'Command the word.' That's the same word, kaleo, again. I love it. He was telling Jesus to give an order. If you just issue an order from wherever you are, you gotta have that kind of confidence in God that if God speaks If God speaks to it, it's got to move. If God speaks to it, it's got to change. If God speaks to it, it's got to get better. So, and so instead of you panicking— watch this— because nothing is ever as big as it first appears. A lot of times we panic because something looks big. Oh my God! But it's never that big. Think about the stuff you freaked out over. Just look, it wasn't even that serious. Serious as when you first freaked out. And so when things arise, instead of panicking, just talk to God and give the order to ship the change. He said, 'And my servant will be healed.' Watch this. In other words, he was also saying, 'Your word is the only evidence I need.' See, a lot of time we want to see something else, but really, if the word said it, we got to accept that. Because guess what? God cannot lie, neither is he the son of man that he should repent. If he said it, so shall it be. So if God's word has spoken it, it's already done. You just got to command it to manifest. Oh boy, I got to get out of here. Look at verse 9. He says, for I am a man under authority. It's that same centurion having soldiers under me. He's talking about command. He said, I say to this man, go, and he goes. I say to another, come, and he comes. And to my servant, do this, and he does it. So he's showing you how authority works in the natural. Oh boy, he's showing you that I'm me being a soldier that's in authority. If I speak, people obey. What more, again, when God speaks, should we do? How we respond. Verse 10, it says, when Jesus heard it, he marveled and said to them that followed— so this marveled— Jesus was amazed that this man, because everybody was pulling on him, he was going everywhere. He said, this man only needs my word. He marveled and said to them that followed, verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel. In other words, again, the word is the only evidence you need. That's great faith when you can say, I just believe the word. So when you compare it, cuz you can see what you got, you can see the doctor's report. But when you put it up against the word, what's more real to you? What evidence stands out greatest? Do you really believe what God said, or do you believe— oh my God, you're report over his word. Drop down to verse 18. Almost done here. Verse 18 says, now when Jesus saw the great multitudes about him, he gave commandment to depart to the other side. Jesus said, we ain't even going. He sent the word and went somewhere else. Jesus just showing us if we call on him and if we speak what he's saying We can step away and trust that it's going to get done. Again, just like that commanding officer, he doesn't issue a command without expectation of obedience. God said he's going to help us. Are y'all here? The centurion understood spiritual authority. He understood faith. He understood order. He understood obedience. He understood that I can't just do this when I want to do it. I got to be in all the time.
Glory to God.
Go to John 14. I'm almost done. Y'all saying, are you Apostle? Yes, I am. Yes, I am. Say, faith commands. Faith commands. Say, faith that takes. Faith that takes. Commands. Commands. The promise of God to appear. To appear. Said, not another day. Not another day. Will I accept. Will I accept. The report. The report. That is not of the Lord. Say, I believe the report of the Lord. If he said it, so shall it be. Come on, give God praise if you believe that. Glory to God. Glory to God. Now, John 14:13, you find these words. Oh boy, here we go. Here We go. Lord Jesus, I thank you. He says, and whatsoever— somebody say whatsoever— you shall ask in my name. Good God Almighty. So ask here in Greek, a'osio in Greek, which means to demand or command. He said whatever you demand in 'in my name.' Oh boy. So this ain't disrespectful to God, but this ask is about commanding the promise to come forth, commanding the promise to appear. 'Eosio' means that you come as an inferior to a superior promise, a superior a deity and you respect him in a way that you say, whatever you say, I believe. That's honor. It's dishonor to not trust one that's telling the truth. Are y'all hearing this? So God says, now you can honor me with your lips, but your heart has to be submissive. Your heart has to trust. I want to see— he said, what's if you ask in my name? Say my name, my identity, my noma. You know, so you can't be operating in false identity and expect this stuff to work. It's got to be aligned with him, his name. You don't do it in your name because it ain't gonna work in your name. It's gonna work in his name. What name is that? Jesus. Whatever you ask in the name of Jesus, in the identity of Jesus Christ, in the person of Jesus. Watch this. So that means when you start commanding things to come forth, you're not doing it in your own self. You step into his identity. Glory to God. You put on His rank, and you start commanding like He commands. He said, whatever— say whatever you ask in my name, that will I do. Are y'all hearing me? Now let me— there's parameters to this, because whatever you ask again has to align with His word, His will. His will is his word, so it's got to align with that. So a single brother could come up to Zion and say, I'm asking God for you in the name of Jesus. That's out of the will because Zion belongs to Jeffrey. Are y'all hearing this? I will be praying for him to keep him off that brother, because at the end of the day, she's spoken for. You can't pray for something that don't belong to you, right? Somebody inbox me, say, I'm praying for you because you're really my husband. You married the wrong person. The devil is a A liar and a deceiver too. The reality is I'm spoken for. You can't pray for me. Okay, I don't care who name you use. You can pray in Jesus' name and 12 more white men, that prayer will not be be answered. I'm telling you right now, because I'm— it's not aligned, it's out of the will. So you need to know what you're asking according to the word of God. I just want to make sure we clear right there. You're claiming what is rightfully yours when you ask, not what belongs to somebody else. Are y'all hearing this? I don't care how bad I want a house that somebody else is living in. It may— I may see it and say, oh my, that's the perfect house and I want that house. I can't march around that house 7 times. Somebody, in the name of Jesus. I command them to move. This my house. No, it's not your house. Somebody else lives there. And if it's yours, you going to have to wait till they move. Are y'all hearing this? You trying to march around folk car sometimes. Get away from my car. Get your hand— it's my Y'all hearing this? Glory to God.
Oh glory.
He said, whatsoever you ask in my name, that will I do. Just have to get that whatsoever right. All right. He said that the Father might be glorified in the Son. So whatever I'm asking is going to bring glory to God. Oh glory. It's not going to bring glory to my flesh. Flesh. It's not going to be about me. Whatever I'm asking God is to give him glory and for him to be makrograph, extolled and exalted and lifted up, so the world can see Jesus at work in me. Glory to God. Watch verse 14, I'm almost done. He said, if you shall ask anything in my name— he just has to repeat it— I'm going to do it. Say Lord do it. So stop accepting again stuff the way it is. And oh my God, I read this in that translation, in the Good News, it says whatever you demand— woo, God— claim, call for, and require as your right as a kingdom citizen, he said, I will personally see to it that is carried out. God said, if it's yours and you ask me for it and you command it, I'm gonna see to it that it comes to pass. Oh boy. If you ask anything according to his will, he will do it. His will is his word. That's why you got to feed your faith the word. Watch this, and I'm done. God will always supply, hear me, as long as you demand. Oh boy, God will always supply. Somebody in the camera, as long as you demand. God would always supply as long as you demand. You gotta call it, you gotta speak to it, you gotta ensure— glory to God— that you're speaking what he desires of you. That's so good. He will supply Supply as long as you demand. Y'all ever heard of that? Supply and demand in business. Supply and demand. We're in the kingdom. The principle is, as long as you demand, there'll be supply. You shouldn't be living in lack. You shouldn't be living beneath your privilege. You should be putting a demand Listen, if you take it when you pray— y'all can stand, please. If you take it when you pray, watch this, you can drive it and you can live in it. You can spend it and you can enjoy life, but you gotta take it when you pray. Close your eyes and grab somebody by the hand. We bless him. Squeeze that hand you're holding. Glory to God. Get you— come on. And I want you to close your eyes and just begin to pray for those hands you're holding. Pray that faith will be stirred up in your life. Come on, open your mouth, begin to pray. Come on, begin to pray that they'll have a faith that demands— glory to the name of God— and then we're going to pray together. But I want you to begin to intercede for them. Our faith is not led, Lord God, led astray by distractions. Our faith is not led astray by our own personal ability. But God, we trust what you say. For God, your word declares you're not slack nor slow concerning your promise toward us. And Father, if you said it, so shall it be. For you are God that cannot lie. And so, Father, we believe you. And so, Father, we come today touching and agreeing. And Father, you said whatsoever we ask in our name— in your name, not in our name, in your name— you said you would do it. Glory to God.
Praise God. I want to thank you guys You guys were a tremendous blessing to Felicia and I. Let me tell you what y'all did. This is the local church, our partners online. You guys raised $2,300 for us last week. What a tremendous blessing. Thank you. Felicia and I was able to So I didn't have to come out my pocket for nothing. It was a blessing. We took— and y'all better believe we spent every damn one. Glory to God. We had the best accommodations, we ate well, we enjoyed ourselves. Amen. So thank you, thank you, thank you. So this is, uh, the last Sunday of the month, so as you give today, keep that in mind. Be a blessing to the kingdom. Amen. Father, we thank you for every giver and every giver today. Return it back to them a thousand times more. And we decree and declare it's more blessed to give than it is to receive. And Father, you said whatsoever man soweth, that shall he reap. And so Father, as your people are sowing today, we thank you that they will reap great harvest because of their great faith. In Jesus' name. Amen. Glory to God. We give you praise. We give you glory. So get your seed in the ground. Where's the gifts? Go to your online, make sure you're giving. Praise God. Just a few announcements while we're giving. Glory to God. Starting on March 17th. Somebody say March 17th. The Lord has instructed us to consecrate a 12-day fast, so 17th through the 28th. So midnight that Sunday, the 16th, at midnight basically on the 17th, we will begin our fast through the 28th. 12 days. That's what the Lord said. And so that's what we're going to do. I'm going to send out a fast focus and a prayer focus. We're going to be fasting for souls. That's what the Lord told me. We're fasting for souls, supernatural saving of souls and strategies to win those souls. Glory to God. And so At the end of the fast, on the 28th, 29th, and 30th, we're going to conclude the fast. We'll be off the fast on the 28th, but we're going to conclude it with 3 days of revival. We're going to call it Harvest Fire. We're believing God for harvest, and Apostle Brandon will be here with us again, and, uh, my son Prophet Ben and be in the house. So we're gonna go up, glory to God. So let's prepare our hearts for that. That Sunday— say Sunday the 30th— we're going to call that Family and Friends Day. So all your family and friends that ain't saved, when you get those flyers, you need to start inviting them now because we're believing God for harvest. Amen. And you— we can't get people saved on Sunday if we don't bring them to church. Amen. So this is going to be a great day. Um, I'm going to get with Felicia and Tanya, see if maybe we can have some kind of refreshments after service on that Sunday. Um, but we want to make that a great day. So y'all make sure y'all put that in your calendars. Those of you online online and want to fast with us, please do so. March 17th through the 28th, we will be fasting. Glory to God. All right, glory to God. Father, bless every gift, every giver again, even as we confessed over it already. Give it back to them a thousand times more, and we praise you for it now, in Jesus' name. Amen. All right, all hearts Is your mind clear? Well, let us stand. I'm operating on zero sleep. I just looked up, I, I slept at all last night. The Lord had me up and I couldn't sleep. And Maverick was in the bed with us last night, so it'd be hard. He was knocked out though, you know, but I'd be watching him. I'll be looking at him. We love you guys. Thank you all for all that you do. Just, you're such a blessing. I'll give Amanda a hand for being back in our midst. We missed you, girl. We missed you. We missed you. We're glad you back. Amen. All right, we're praying. Father, in Jesus' name, we thank you for this day. We thank you for this word. And Father, we pray that we'll put it in action, that we will command those things that are not as though they are, and we will see great results even this week and even in our lives. God, watch over us to protect us this week. Cover us in in your blood and keep us. And we give you praise for it now, in Jesus' name. Amen. You're dismissed. God bless you.
