The Glory Dimension of Fire | Dr. Mike Woods, Sr. (Live Replay)

Dr. Mike Woods Sr. teaches that fire is a dimension of God's glory requiring true repentance, water baptism, and the baptism of the Holy Spirit. He uses the burning bush and fiery furnace as examples of how God's consuming fire protects and empowers believers to become witnesses and bring healing and deliverance.
Chapters
Welcome again tonight.
I'm telling you, God is good. I feel his anointing. I feel his glory with us tonight. Glory to God. And Listen, I am excited to teach this word to you, and I want you to get excited about receiving it. Matter of fact, I want you to put your hand on your heart and say this with me. Say, in the name of Jesus, I receive the word as it is taught, and I decree and declare that this word will ignite fire in my life, a consuming fire that will consume sickness, disease, debt, mess, problems, in the name of Jesus.
Say, I decree and declare that the word will be clear to me and I will apply it and when I apply it, I will get results in the name of Jesus. Hallelujah! If you receive that, you ought to rejoice and give God glory right now, because I'm telling you, I'm telling you, I'm telling you, glory to God, you shall decree a thing and it shall be established. Glory be to God! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! I'm Man, I'm excited. I'm excited.
I'm excited to teach this series this month.
We're going to be—
hallelujah— talking about fire, mountains, wind, and clouds. Oh God.
Huh.
And these are 4 dimensions of supernatural living, 4 dimensions of the realm of glory that are very necessary to enhance. Hear this, say that with me, say enhance. To enhance something means to make it better, to make it, oh my God, pliable to the one that created it, to make it usable. So when you, when the more enhanced you become, the more usable you are to God in the earth realm. So fire, mountains, wind, and clouds are dimensions that have to be understood in order for us— in order for us, I'm sorry— to live our most effective life as kingdom citizens. Because we're not here— hear me— to just have good church. I want you to hear me.
We are here, family, to change the world.
I need you to hear this. I need you to hear this.
We're here to show up in the world and make a difference in society. Uh, there are some people who are content.
They went to church this morning and they're content just because they walked in the building and then they went home.
There's something in them that is satisfied just by that act. But can I submit to you tonight, if your worship experience—
listen to this—
if none of your songs, none of your preaching, none of the scriptures you read culminate with enhancement, with your life being different, with you living in a different dimension and a different realm, you may as well not have church. Because at the end of the day, you embraced religious activity. So my goal in life is to help the church, to help believers tap into realms and dimensions that they can show up in the world enhanced, as enhanced individuals who can literally for real have dominion like God said we're supposed to.
But we can't do that until we understand these elements. Glory to God.
All right, so tonight we're going to talk about the glory dimension of fire. Let me say this first, and we're going to walk through some scripture tonight. Fire is a part of the nature of God.
It is the very essence of God, and this essence of God should be manifested—
watch this— in the life of every believer.
I'm gonna say that again, all right?
Every believer, every Spirit-filled believer has an opportunity for fire to manifest in their life. It's a huge problem in the body, and I'm gonna tell you why. In a few moments. The problem is there's not much fire—
hear me— being manifested.
And I'm gonna tell you what fire is in a moment, and I'm gonna tell you why fire is really not being manifested in the church, in the body of Christ. Some of this stuff we're calling fire We're going to discover in a moment it's not fire. Oh my God, oh my God. Okay, all right, so here we go. We're going to discover in a huge moment that is not fire, and hopefully we can walk out of this teaching tonight with a clear understanding of what fire really is and how it's supposed to operate in our life. And how we're supposed to flow in this dimension. Watch this, not just in a church building. I got a problem with your fire if the only time you're on fire is in the church. So I'm gonna get ahead of myself, but I need you to be clear, all right, that this fire that God wants to manifest, ladies and gentlemen, It's real. Oh God, it's real, and it needs to come alive in you. Listen, if you agree that fire needs to come alive in the world and that it needs to spread contagiously throughout the world through believers, just type that little fire emoji in the comments. Glory to God. Hallelujah. And then just open your mouth while you're typing it and say Fire, fire, fire. That's what we need. And so this is what this teaching is about, tapping into that dimension of fire. Come on, type that emoji. Fire, fire, fire, fire. So I want to submit to you, really, guys, it is impossible. I need you to hear me. To really be filled with the Spirit. Uh-oh.
And not be filled with fire.
This is just my thesis statement for this message tonight, but this is so true. I need you to understand something. How can you speak in tongues, prophesy, do all of the things that you suggest is a manifestation of the Holy Spirit, and you never manifest fire. And somebody said, well, Apostle, wait a minute, I'm prophesying, I'm laying hands, I'm moving in fire.
Not necessarily, not necessarily.
And I'm gonna show you that too in a minute. So the reality is, if you're really filled with the Holy Ghost— you ever heard—
I grew up in the church, they used to testify, I'm saved, sanctified, filled with the Holy Ghost and the mighty burning fire.
And then let me tell you something, and them mothers in the church I grew up in, they had the mighty burning fire for real. There was something that moved in them, that was an anointing that moved in them, that if they laid hands on you, you raised up off the floor and fell, and you felt fire burning in your belly. I've seen, uh, the elders in the past, I've seen it in my own ministry, lay hands on people, the fire hits them and they get filled with the Holy Ghost instantly, with the evidence of speaking in tongues.
Fire, fire, fire. Yeah, fire, fire, fire.
Glory to God.
Fire. Listen, you can't be filled by Messiah and not have fire. There's so many that talk the talk, but they don't walk this walk of fire. See what fire does? It is so powerful that it causes purity, it produces power, and it releases purpose. It cleans you up, it releases the power of God in your life, and it makes purpose clear. Because what fire does, it consumes all of the other things that are not like God so you could clearly discern Purpose.
People who don't understand why they are here are people who have not really been in the fire. I don't care how many, what you call, high services you've been in. Uh-oh, I'm about to step on some religious toes tonight. I'm gonna tell you right now, I'm just gonna warn you, uh, before I go there, because can I submit to you that fire is not noise? Fire is not dancing.
Fire is not emotionalism, but fire is transformative. It transforms.
So while, while noise— and, and I'm a noisy preacher, so I mean, I'm not against that.
Anybody knows me knows I make a lot of noise at church.
The reality is I'm not against noise. But can I tell you something?
Just because someone is making noise, that doesn't necessarily mean in quantitative terms that the fire of God is present. I need you to hear me. I'm gonna say it one more again.
Just because somebody is making noise, isn't that— isn't an indicator that they are moving in fire. Just because there are drums and a hammer beat and people are dancing And somebody can sing and we'll say, oh, wasn't she anointed? It ain't necessarily the anointing of fire because someone sings well or preaches well. Fire is always going to leave results that it was there. So let's get in this. How do we know?
Oh my God. Well, let's start here.
What are some—
I'm gonna start here.
What are some enemies, hear me, to fire?
Glory to God. What's some enemies? Yeah, what's some enemies to fire? Let's go to Isaiah 59:2.
Let's, let's just— can we work tonight? Let's go to Isaiah 59:2.
We're gonna walk through this word, uh, and if you don't mind me, remember, he sent his word and it healed them. So as we teach tonight, this word is your medicine. Glory to God.
Isaiah, uh, 59.
Isaiah is a major prophet.
Glory to God.
So Isaiah, Song of Solomon, Isaiah 59:2. Let's read it. Glory to God.
Oh, God is so good. Here we go. The Bible says But your iniquities have separated you between you and your God, and your sins— watch this— have hid his face from you, that he will not hear. So in this text, we find our first enemy to fire. Who can guess what it is? It's sin. And the reason I say it's sin, because God— and we're going to unpack this in a moment— in Hebrews 11:29 is revealed to us as a consuming fire. So again, God is fire. It is his character, it is his essence. So when there is sin and iniquity in your life, it separates you from fire because it separates you from God. Sin also— watch this— causes God to hide his face. Now somebody said, oh, Michael Woods, there you go, we have grace, nobody is perfect. You're absolutely correct with your religious, comfortable in sin self. Yes, you are correct, you do have grace. But can I submit to you tonight, you have grace, but there is one thing you do not have, Mr. Grace. You do not have fire. Yeah, because the only way you can have fire is to have God working in your life, and your sin separates you from God. And every time you sin, it diminishes fire. Oh God, oh God, oh God, oh God, please don't scroll. Oh my, please don't scroll. Yeah, yeah. Every time you lay down in that bed with that man that's not your husband, or that— oh my God— or that woman that's not your wife, or you— or single people Or you're sleeping around with someone you're not married to. Oh, and I'm not going to miss you tonight, homosexual and lesbian. I know y'all just left what y'all call Pride Month. Glory to the name of God. But pride coming for a fall. So at the end of the day, I'm not— I'm, I'mma hit you too tonight. Yeah, God love you. Yeah, you got grace. But one thing you cannot have is fire, because when you're in perpetual sin The fire of God— hear me— her is not with you people.
It's not with you.
It's not with the whore. It's not with homosexual. Not with a lesbian. Not with a liar. It cannot be with you when you're living this kind of life. Fire purifies. How can you tell me you're in fire?
Oh my God. Oh my God. Look at all the preachers in the church right now, man. And listen, I, I have made mistakes in my past. I've fallen, and I was operating, glory to God, even while I was in sin way back then. And the fire would come upon me for other people, but because I was in sin, it was not—
oh my God, I was separate. I'm just teaching you something I know.
I was separated from God.
I couldn't tap into God for me when I needed him.
I'm telling you right now, I had grace. He forgave me, but I didn't have the fire for myself.
And I'm telling you, we're gonna see why you're gonna need fire.
You're gonna need the fire of God. So look, yeah, after you repent—
and we'll talk about that a minute— let me just move on, get out of myself.
So sin is an enemy to fire.
Number 2 is your second enemy to fire. It's religion. Let's go to 2 Timothy, people. Let's go to 2 Timothy. We're gonna walk out the word. 2 Timothy. Remember, he sent his word. Don't scroll, please. He, matter of fact, shared. Somebody needs to hear this. 2 Timothy, verses 3— verses 1 through 5.
Glory to God.
I'm gonna give you this second enemy to fire. Let's listen.
It said this: Know also that in the last days perilous times, glory to God, shall come. My God, today, in the last days, perilous—
let me stop, I ain't got time, but I'm gonna start right here.
That word perilous is shalipos in Greek, and it means hard to do, hard to survive in, hard to take, troublesome, dangerous.
So in the last days, dangerous troublesome, hard times will come. And I believe there's some people on here tonight that have experienced some hard times. I'm gonna tell you something, we're in those hard times. We're in an election year where times are really hard right now. I'm telling you, this inaugural year is going to make it hard for those that don't operate in this glory dimension of fire. Because what's going to happen in this next administration— and I prophesied something last year, and I'm standing on what God said in terms of who the next president is going to be. The reality is you better know who Jesus— oh my God— who Jesus Christ is in your life.
You better know who the King of Kings is because it's going to be hard times coming.
But for those that operate in the fire dimension, it won't be hard. Let me— this is not where I want to be, but watch this. He said, for men shall be lovers of their own self. That, that's pride. Oh my God, love yourself, put you above everything else. Glory to God. That he said, men will be loving. So these— this is why things are hard, because no one will be concerned about no one else. Even those in authority will only be concerned about their agenda. The Bible says they'll— men will be lovers of themselves. These men will be covetous, which means they'll love money. All they'll be concerned about is gain. Oh boy, here we go. Boasters. Oh boy, social media makes it so easy for people to become boasters. Oh my God, to talk about them, them, them, them. This is how— this is the, uh, extension of being in love with yourself, being covetous. Being a boaster, being proud, being a blasphemer, being disobedient to parents, being unthankful, being unholy. Verse 3: without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God. The last one sums up all the other ones. See, people who love pleasure more than they love God. Watch this, stay in that pleasure, and they consistently— this is the word I'm getting to— do these pleasures religiously. They're without natural affection. Y'all know what that stuff is. I don't have time tonight. They're always breaking the peace. They're truce breakers. They're always lying. They're incontinent. Glory to the name of God. Which means they have no self-control. They're out of control. They're They're angry all the time. They're fierce. They hate people who are doing good.
But watch this. The Bible says they will have a form of godliness and deny the power thereof. From such turn away. Here's the second enemy right there in verse 5. I need you to hear me. I need you to hear me. Here's the second enemy to fire. Listen, I need you to hear me good.
It's Ushkatatabansiaya. It's having a form of godliness, and this is religion.
There are so many people who have a form of godliness, and the form is morphosis in Greek, which means to resemble, to shape.
So there are a lot of things that look like fire. There are a lot of things that look like the church. There are a lot of things that look like it's the right way.
Oh my God.
But it's just a form, because what shows you is fiery is the power that comes forth out of it. So some people rather go through the motions without purity.
Oh, oh God, without purity of motive, purity of mindset, purity of faith. And they'll go through the motions to be seen of men, having a form of godliness.
But when I really got God again—
oh my God, here today, fire is going to show up.
I did this message tonight. I'm telling you guys, we're streaming over 5 different platforms tonight.
It's not for everybody. Everybody's not gonna be able to take this because everybody—
some people have itching ears. And so many have given heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils. I want to tell you right here, be careful of seducers. Seducers have a strong religious demon that penetrates— watch this— your discernment to the point that you cannot tell they are seducing you. That otherwise it wouldn't be seduction, right? So seducers pull you in. To them. That's the whole goal, is what— to pull you into them, their way of doing things, their language, their verbiage, their ideals. But what we need in this hour, and I believe I'm talking to some tonight on this live, is conducers. We need some men and women of God, some kingdom citizens that will show up in the world. It's not about them that have— don't have a of godliness but have the power of God and pull people through. Seducers pull people in, conducers pull people through them to God. Because you understand, it's never about you. Religion never empowers. It is always gonna have you stagnated.
Oh my God, today, whoo, I got to get out of here.
Tonight, good God from Zion, I already been talking 45 minutes. Well, I really ain't been talking 45 minutes, I've been live 45 minutes.
We, we're working at the front trying to get people to join, so stay with me, stay with me, stay with me, guys. So religion, number 2, that's the enemy of fire. All right, let's go to Matthew 23:13. I'm staying on these points too long until I feel the Holy Ghost. Matthew 23:13. Remember, he sent his word and it heals them. So as I preach and teach Ooh, tonight, have mercy. This word is going to bring healing to your life, healing to your mind, healing to your heart, healing to your body, healing to your finances. He sent his word and it healed them. Matthew 23:13, you'll find these words. The Bible says, but woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees hypocrites. So he's saying people who denied it, because the scribes and Pharisees were the best at having a form of godliness and denying the power thereof, they were religious priests. Glory to God. He says, you're hypocrites, for you shut up the kingdom of heaven against men. For ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in. In other words, you want to stay so stuck in your religiosity that you will not allow the people who are connected to you to experience the power, the glory, and the fire of the kingdom. He says, woe unto you hypocrites. It's very hypocritical to be religious, and God says caution to you. Because you're causing others to miss the kingdom. Let me say to some pastors and some teachers and some apostles that may happen to stumble over this message in your, in your search for 130—
I'm sorry, but your search for 1 minute and 30 seconds of ministry while you're scrolling, because that's what a reel is, that most people only have an attention span for 130 seconds.
So God bless your hearts tonight if you've been sitting here with me for 40 minutes, because most people can't stay on one live stream but 1 minute 30 seconds. That, that's what they gotta— I'm telling you, the numbers don't lie. That's what they have intentions, man, for. Nobody wants to learn. But let me say to you, preacher, you pastor this year, or that's watching this replay, Let me say this to you. Woe unto you, you hypocrite, if you're standing in the pulpit Sunday after Sunday and it's about you and about how much money you could raise, about how well you entertain the people that day, and you're really— and how many people you've gathered. Listen, let me say something to you. You think you're having church grow because people are leaving other churches coming to your church. That ain't church growth. Woe unto you! Through your entertainment and your spectacular ability to woo your crowds, people are leaving other churches joining your church, and it ain't even that you better than the guy they left. You just entertain more well. Okay, my God, here, listen, the reality is real church growth comes through winning souls.
And God added to the church daily such as would be saved. We're gonna get there in a moment. I need you to hear me. Woe unto you that then shout, go through the motion of church, breathe on people, they pass out. Listen, God has used me to do all of that, and he still does, but it makes no difference if it doesn't culminate with a kingdom expression in the world. With transformation that deploys people into the world to bring about change. I am not impressed, and you could probably care less if I'm impressed or not, and, and that's good. But the reality is God's not impressed neither. If all you do is have good church, you're religious, and you need to make a difference in the world. I was— I went to church earlier today, and I was out after service, and, uh, God was just dealing with me as I was driving about impact and all the people I saw out on Sunday who probably attended the virtual service and haven't been in the church building, and people that just wasn't saved and needed help. And I started saying, God, give me wise strategies so that these people can be transformed. He says, son, the only strategy you need— hear me—
is fire.
And then I talked to my wife on the phone and she confirmed something God said to me. We didn't need another building where we had time constraints on how we worshiped, because we need room for fire to burn. God, I love you. God, I love you. I give you, I give you praise, God. Oh, I got to get through this. I got to get through this, God.
So religion, sin are enemies to fire. Third enemy is fear.
Go to Proverbs. I don't have time.
I could teach all them by themselves. Go to Proverbs 29:25. Stay with me, church. Glory to the name of God. Somebody just type in the comments, fire, fire, fire. Type that fire emoji. Fire, fire, fire, fire, fire.
Proverbs— oh my God—
29:25. You'll, you'll see these words. The Bible says, the fear of man— glory to God, hallelujah— the fear of man bringeth a snare, but whosoever putteth his trust in the Lord shall be saved. Oh my God, today. Oh my God, again. God bless you, Mr. Sims. Good to see you, girl. Glory to God. Hallelujah. The Bible said you put your trust, or if you have reverence or fear of man— watch this— the Bible says here, I need you to hear me. God have mercy. You bring a snare on yourself.
So here's the third Enemy of fire is fear. People, a lot of people really fear the fire. So this word snare means that you become bait. It's moquish, moquish in Hebrew. It means you become bait for the enemy. You open the door for the enemy to come into your life because your trust is misappropriated. I got to get out of here, man. You start— you're trusting in man's culture, man's way of doing things, man's ideals over the word of God. You trust doctors before you trust God's word. Oh God, oh my God, listen, you, you, you trust your job before you trust God's word. But if God said it, it shall be so.
Stop being bait, man. Stop being bait for the enemy to bring doubt. Fear robs you of fire. I'm moving, I'm moving, I'm moving. I'm almost done, I promise you. Stay with me, I'm almost done. Glory to God. Ah, but whosoever putteth his trust in the Lord is safe.
So if I trust in God and his fire, I'm safe.
So how do I get fire, Michael Woods? Here's some prerequisites to fire. Let's get them, let's get them, my God, today.
Let's get them.
Go to Matthew 3:11. Matthew 3:11. Remember, he sent his word and it healed them. My God, oh God, I feel you, Jesus.
Yes, God, he sent his word, hallelujah, and it healed them. So as I'm teaching tonight, he sent out his word, hallelujah, and healed them. Glory to God. Alicia asked, how do you get fire?
Alicia, I'm about to tell you. Glory to God.
We about—
I'm about to tell you. Glory to God.
Here's some prerequisites.
Matthew 3 and verse number 11. Glory to God. I love you, Jesus. What a mighty God we serve.
Watch this. 3:11 says, I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I'm not worthy to bear, he shall— watch this— baptize you with Holy Ghost—
watch this—
and conjunction and with fire.
Oh God, today.
Oh, shaya! My God, somebody shout fire, fire, fire! So here's some prerequisites to getting fire. Here's the first. The first is true repentance. He says, I baptize you with water unto repentance, or because of— the word unto is eis, e-i-s in Greek, and it means because of. So he says, I baptize you with water because You repent it. So the first thing I need to do is truly repent. The word repent or repentance is from the Greek word metanoia, which means to return to the top. Metanoia means, oh shanta tabaya, it means a change of mind, a change of heart, and a change of behavior that restores me to the top by God today. So honestly, true repentance happens when your mind changes about the offense that you are committing. So, so let me ask you a question. Can you truly repent, man? Come on, preacher. Married pastor? Can you truly repent if you have a wife? Come on, can you truly repent if you have a wife and you refuse to stop seeing your mistress that you've had for 20 years? But every time you sleep with the mistress or you spend time with the mistress. And I know these new thought people are going to say, Woods, you're closed-minded. We have polyamorous relationships now. We have open marriages. Okay, y'all keep doing what you're doing, but I'm gonna tell you something: you're going straight to hell with your polyamorous open marriage self. I just need you to understand that, because you cannot— oh God— truly repent and you got a hoe on the side. Oh, y'all ain't got to talk to me. Oh yeah, don't scroll please, don't scroll please. Yes, God, today you cannot truly repent until you let that hoe go, let that mistress go. Glory to the name of God. And declare yourself free, declare repair yourself whole and return to the top.
Otherwise, you're living in adultery because it's still in your heart, it's still in your mind, you're still talking, you still texting.
Ah, you still going through all the motions every day.
You have not repented because your mind hasn't changed.
Okay, on the other side, Pastor Bishop Prophet, who is gay and has a husband, can you truly repent of your consistent act of homosexuality? You live with a man. Oh, but I have grace. God loves me.
Ah.
He loves you. I love you. And people say, oh, you're so mean. No, it has nothing to do with mean. No, this is telling the truth. And I'm not just picking on homosexuals, I'm picking on the hoes too, the adulterers too. Glory to the name of God. The lesbians too. If you're in any kind of sin, you cannot truly repent if you're still doing it. You can repent for the moment. But as soon as you go back, because it's in your heart, you're gonna go back. All right, you got grace until you go back.
But to get fire, you gotta truly repent. You gotta be— you gotta decide, I'm changing my mind, because God can't dwell in an unclean temple.
See, people want to take this stuff out of the Bible.
It's still in the Bible.
See, people want the fire that lays hands and people falling out and they're prophesying and everybody's crying. But the reality is fire happens with you first when you truly repent.
Oh my God, today.
Oh my God. And it cleans you up.
Where fire really comes You don't want to do that no more because you truly repented, because you had an encounter that has made you aware that God is really real and I need to be working really hard to please him. Oh God, to make him happy.
Glory to God.
And I know you say none of us are perfect, we all make mistakes, Apostle. Yes, but every day you wake up, you ought to be trying to live for him. And the Bible says if you sin, you have an advocate with the Father.
So your motive shouldn't be, I'm going to live in perpetual sin, but I'm going to live in total repentance. I'm going to live in true repentance by changing my heart, my mind, my action, because You cannot truly repent when you start believing what you're doing is okay.
You outside the pulpit cussing like a sailor, lying, sleeping around, and you want the fire of God to flow through you. You need deliverance. God loves you, but you need deliverance. And I don't care how many people echo the voice of the late Carlton Demetrius Pearson's voice that there is no hell. I'm telling you, there is a hell, and that is a dimension of fire that you do not want to experience.
I'm not going to teach about— I'm going to do a whole series on hell before this year is out. Just because the status quo has come to this craziness that there is no hell. There— listen, there is one, and I'm going to prove it to you in scripture and through revelation.
The reality is, I wouldn't play with my life like that.
Repent! If you're here tonight and you know you got sin in your life, I want to challenge you to repent. Some of the reasons why you have things in your life— glory to the name of God— that the fire has not consumed because the fire is not there because you got sin in your life that you need to let go of.
Repent. Repent. Oh my God, today. Repent. Amaya. Sutekesi andoshai. Repent. We don't want to hear this, but repent. Brahmsata bababakata yamansoto babaya. Come on, gay preacher, repent. Come on, whoremongering preacher, repent!
Abata! Sumba kante tebesa! Rebatata munsiya! Come on, prophet that's sleeping with everybody, repent! Rebasanta kanta tabata kaya! Rombasa tabamando! Come on, man of God that lacks integrity, repent!
Ushabaya! Rebusiantabaya! Ushiantoshi! God, I give you glory! I give you honor. I praise you, God. Oh God, I praise you. I praise you.
I know this ain't popular, saints.
But somebody's got to tell the truth.
We gotta be the church and we gotta represent the church in power and authority, and it starts with repentance, true repentance. I got to get out of here, man. I got to get out of here. There, there's another thing in this text that's a prerequisite to fire. So true repentance is one.
Number 2, there's a 3-dimensional baptism that has to take place in your life. One, you have to be baptized in water.
I don't know how we have kicked the ordinances out of the church that are biblical, but God today, like baptism And because I'm an apostle, I'm not going to tell you you're going to hell if you were baptized in the name of Father, Son, Holy Ghost. I'm not going to tell you that. That's not my job. I'm not going to do that. But what I will tell you, Acts 2:38 says, repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sin, and be filled with the Holy Ghost. So if I take you down, because the apostles baptized in Jesus' name, if I baptize you, I am baptizing you in Jesus' name. Because the Bible said whatever you're doing, word or deed, do it in the name of Jesus.
So I'm gonna take you down in Jesus' name. Now I ain't got no problem with nobody else, but that's what I'm gonna do because I'm an apostle in the Lord's church.
You need water baptism if you have not been baptized. This church of today has forgotten, my God, that baptism is necessary. It is an outward witness that says to the world, I am buried with Jesus and I am also resurrected with him in the newness of life. The word baptism is baptizo in Greek, and it means to submerge completely until the result is achieved. So you are submerged in water until you are totally wet. Now, I will submit to you, as my old mother used to say in our church, you can go down a dry devil and come up a wet devil. I'm gonna say that one more time because it's true. You can go down a dry devil, come up a wet devil if transformation hasn't happened in your heart.
That's why repentance, true repentance, is necessary.
But then he doesn't stop at water.
He says, there's coming one mightier than I, Jesus. John baptized, was baptizing But he said, there's another coming that's mightier than me. Oh my God, he's gonna baptize you, number one, with Holy Ghost.
So this is a prerequisite to fire. I need to be baptized in Holy Ghost.
Wait a minute, and the Holy Ghost is not wind, the Holy Ghost is not fire, the Holy Ghost is a person.
He is the person of God in you. He's not tongues, he's not gifts, he is a person. That's why you got all these people going around now who've changed the way they speak of the Holy Spirit.
They call him Holy Spirit.
I'm still— I still say the Holy Ghost because me and him got that thing. I, I got a personal relationship with him, probably better than most, and he is the Holy Ghost. He's the king of my life.
But you could be proper and say, Holy Spirit. I had a talk with Holy Spirit. If that's how you say it, that's fine.
But the Holy Ghost, that's what I got. Glory to God. And I'm baptized in him. Again, remember, to submerge until the result is achieved. Somebody type in the comments, Holy Ghost, Holy Ghost, Holy Ghost. Glory to God. I feel him right now too. Listen, he, he will baptize you into all 9 fruit of the Spirit start to manifest in your life.
Yes, yes, until the gifts of the Spirit come alive in your life.
He submerges you, so you— it's an ongoing continual baptism. I'll give an example. The word baptism, baptizo again in Greek, was a commercial word. So if a sheep shearer took wool off a sheep and they wanted a red garment out of that wool, they would take that red wool, that white wool, dip it in a red dye pan. Now one dip wasn't enough. They would keep dunking it and dunking it and dunking it until the wool that once was white is now red. You need to keep getting dunked in the Holy Ghost. Glory to God. That's why you need Holy Ghost-filled services. You need Holy Ghost- filled Bible studies. You need Holy Ghost-filled meetings. You need Holy Ghost-filled devotional time where you're constantly being baptized in the Holy Ghost until you emerge like him. Oh God, have mercy today. Have mercy today. That, that ought to be our quest. So that's, that's—
so we need Holy Ghost, right? Thirdly, He said he's gonna baptize with Holy Ghost and with fire. Oh God.
So two distinctive things, and is a conjunction. So I got to get baptized in the Holy Ghost, the person of God, to become like him, and then I gotta get baptized in fire.
Now let's go to Hebrews 11:29. I'm almost through, man. I got a meeting with my team at 8 o'clock. I got to get out of here. I'm trying to finish this.
Go, go to Hebrews.
Oh boy, I didn't realize when I was studying yesterday and I finished this up today that I had so much information the Holy Spirit was giving me. Glory to God. Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah. We give you glory, God. We give you honor. Hebrews 11:29, the Bible says this.
I hope y'all are learning something. Glory to God.
I hope y'all stay with me.
Stay with—
again, it says a lot about you that you can be on the live longer than a minute and 30 seconds and learn and grow. And remember, we said it prophetically. The Holy Spirit spoke to us and said, glory to God, hallelujah, that he sent his word and it healed them. And as we teach tonight, people are being healed. I'm telling right now, your blood pressure, your kidneys are going to function properly. Diabetes, your pancreas is going to begin to pump out insulin. Your heart is going to be healed. Glory to God, I receive it in my cardiovascular system. Glory to the name of God. No, a new heart in the name of Jesus. I declare it. Reba sanda tabasi. I declare for you that as we teach this word, the fire is consuming your debt. Oh, it's consuming your problems. Oh my God, today I love you, Jesus. Watch this, Hebrews 11:29. Oh boy, good stuff, man. The Bible said by faith they passed through the Red Sea as by— here we go— dry land, which the Egyptians are saying— listen to this— were drowned. Now here we go. This verse is an example, guys, of God being a consuming fire. They believed that God would destroy and consume their enemies.
Look, God, they're passing through the Red Sea on dry land, and the enemies that were trying to destroy them drowned in that sea. Would God consume them?
Now, now, now, now, I need you to understand, there's no problem that you're facing— oh boy, oh boy— no problem you're facing that God can't consume. Now go flip over one chapter to 12:29. Oh boy, matter of fact, I'm gonna back up to 27.
Hebrews 12:27-29, let's go. The Bible says, and this word, listen, yet once more signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken as of things that are made. That those things which cannot be shaken may remain.
Now watch this.
So if I'm in God and I lay a firm foundation in God, it doesn't matter what happens in this world. It doesn't matter who's in the White House. It doesn't matter who's in the mayor's house. It doesn't matter who's in the governor's house. So no, because no matter what is going on outside of the kingdom, I am protected. And while everybody else is being shaken, oh my God, today I can stand. Woo! Woo! Glory to God. Hashiatai, mankatabo, rababansatai. In God, show up in the world and watch this, disseminate fire to those that need it. Um, can I prophesy to somebody tonight? I don't care what it looks like.
Everything around you may be being shaken up right now, but can I prophesy to you tonight? You're going to remain. Yeah, you're going to remain because God has need of you. You're going to remain because God has need of you. Are you hearing me? You're going to remain because God has need of you. Lord have mercy.
Verse 28 says, wherefore we receiving a kingdom— watch this—
which cannot be shaken. Oh, are you hearing me?
So I have—
you and I, when we got saved, we received a kingdom that cannot be shaken. The reason it cannot be shaken.
The first reason again is that it is protected by fire. So anything that tries to penetrate the kingdom we have received— now here's the catch: you have to receive it. Notice it says, 'Wherefore we receiving a kingdom.' So you got to receive this kingdom, the basilia, the authority, the rule, God's way of life You got to receive it as your own, which means you have access to him, you have access to his resources, you have access to his plan. I didn't say receive church, I said receive the kingdom and the king. The church is just a place where you get trained to go out in the world and do kingdom. He says, listen, you have— we have received a kingdom that cannot be moved. Wherever you are moved is because you're operating in something That's not the kingdom.
Oh boy, oh boy. Receive the kingdom. He said, let us have grace whereby we may serve God acceptably.
Which—
wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute.
Grace, charis in Greek, to serve God. Grace means to be empowered towards something. To be delighted to do something. It's not just exoneration from sin. Grace is a gift that empowers you toward the right thing. So God gives me a gift that should empower me toward righteousness. Watch this, he elevates you and I in gifting only, not for pride and arrogance only. He lifts up us up high so we can see the full perspective perspective of the future calling to us. Oh my God, to operate in fire, to operate in Kingdom principles. So the food— we can't see the future calling us unless we're elevated to see the large perspective.
Well, I was out on the 4th of July with my family, and we were up in the Georgia mountains, and I was— they had this big fireworks show, so I was flying my drone. I have a professional drone with this 6K camera on it, and so I'm flying the drone, taking this footage through fireworks through the mountains. And so when I bring the drone down, someone comes up to me and they say, hey, I have a house in those mountains. I want my house to be a Christmas card this year. No one can get a good picture of it in the mountains. I've been looking for someone with a drone because I know it's going to take a drone to get up there and see it as it is. So the drone elevates to the height of the house. It can take a photo of this home, it can circle this home and give the lady everything she needs for a Christmas card. The reality is there's certain things you will not see until you change your perspective. I was on a flight one time leaving New York. As I left LaGuardia, the pilot got on the plane and said, if you look out to your right, you'll see the beautiful skyline of Manhattan in New York City. But if you look to your left, you'll see the beautiful skyline of Atlantic City, New Jersey.
And it looked like they were this close. It was because I had raised up a different— to a different vantage point. Here's what God is saying: I need you to operate in this realm where the things of earth— this is Bible— grow strangely dim.
Oh my God, oh my God, I hope y'all got that.
I hope y'all got that. So God says a grace that we can serve God acceptably. This is what I want to get Euretos in Greek is acceptably— watch this— in a manner that is pleasing or agreeing to God. Oh boy. So grace gives me the ability to serve God in a capacity that he agrees with. That'll let you know some of this stuff people are saying they got the grace to do God don't agree with all that stuff.
I'm gonna tell you, I already preached it, I'm not gonna go back there. But the reality is there's a grace to serve God in the realm of what he agrees with. Most of the time people come up with this stuff because they have lifestyles that they want to maintain, and if the Bible contradicts the desires, then the Bible has to be wrong. And that's crazy. The Bible is a transformative book.
If it was just a dead religious book, then yeah, of course, let's try to make some adjustments. But the reality is that's not the case. The case is the book is alive and it can change you if you receive his principles.
My God, today I got to get out of here, man.
He says we live with reverence and godly fear. Why?
Verse 29: For our God is a consuming fire. What does that mean? The word consuming—
let me, let me, let me—
I got to get out here, guys. The word consuming— God have mercy, Lord have mercy, I love you, Jesus— the word consuming here means to be filled in one's mind and one's attention with a thing, to absorb it as to become one with it. So that's why I read the scripture about the Israelites— hallelujah— making it over on dry land and the Egyptians being absorbed by the Red Sea. God consumes our enemies. He consumes what's not like him. He consumes the things that go against his covenant, like sickness, disease, poverty, He's a consuming fire. Wait a minute, fire is combustion or burning where substances combine chemically, and they combine with oxygen from the air, and they give out a bright light, heat, a flame, and smoke.
In the spirit We give off light. We should give off heat. We should give off smoke.
Watch this. We should give off a flame that changes the world. For ye are the lights of the world, a city that sits upon the hill that cannot be hid. Let's go, let's go. So God is a consuming fire. He consumes everything in your mind, in your spirit, when you allow him, that's not like him, so you could place your own attention on the things that he is thinking concerning you. Let him consume it. I'm just— let the fire consume you tonight, whoever you are, wherever you're watching from, glory to the Lord, live or by replay. Let the fire— if you're listening to this podcast, let the fire consume you. Let the fire consume you. Let it consume you. Let it consume you. Let it consume your disease.
Let it consume your sickness.
Let it consume every desire that doesn't please God. My God, today I got to go, y'all. I got to get out of here. Good God. Listen, fire can be constructive or destructive. My God, I'm gonna say that one more time. Fire can be constructive or destructive. It can build up— I'm coming to a close, stay with me— or it can tear down. My God, today Said that one, said fire can be constructive or destructive. I need you to hear me, I'm almost done, stay with me. God wants to consume and build you up, but fire can— in the natural, fire can burn down a home, it can burn down a forest, it can burn down a skyscraper, it can burn up a nation if enough fire is produced. It could be violent, but it also can be helpful and assisting. When you're filled with fire and when you move in this dimension of fire, you have that authority with you to destroy or to build up. And God wants us ultimately to destroy those things that are not like him. To burn them up, to consume them so that righteousness and purity— now I'm not saying throw all the sinners in fire, that's not what I'm saying. I'm saying take those spirits, those habits that fuel that unrighteousness and consume it. That doubt, that fear, and consume it. I'm almost done. I'm gonna take the word fire, F-I-R-E, and I'm gonna give you some acronyms so you can remember the 4 benefits of this dimension. So if you take the F off fire, the first thing fire does is it gives you freedom. Oh my God, it gives you freedom. Uh, John 8:36 says, he who the Son sets free is free indeed. So when fire shows up, it brings liberty in your life. When the fire of the Son, the fire of the living God, comes into your life, it gives you freedom. Glory to God. You have not had real freedom until you've experienced the fire. I'm almost done, guys. Freedom, freedom from sickness, freedom from poverty, freedom from debt.
Glory to God. Freedom, freedom, freedom, freedom. Fire brings freedom.
He who the fire sets free.
God is consuming fire. He's the Son. He's— that's him.
Is free indeed.
I'm tell—
I, I announce freedom and liberty over your life tonight.
Glory to God. I decree and declare that your life, glory to God, is filled with the freedom of God.
Somebody just shouted, I'm filled with freedom!
Glory to God. I declare that no weapon formed against your life shall be able to prosper because you are filled. Glory to God, we're Freedom. Thank you, God. We give you glory. You're filled with freedom. He who the Son sets free is free indeed.
Oh my God, today. Oh my God.
Woo! Woo! No longer bound. No more chains holding you. You're free. You're free, you're whole, you're righteous.
God is your King, God is your God, God is your friend, God is your liberty. Freedom, freedom, freedom, freedom.
Stop accepting bondage. When fire shows up, freedom—
my God— today comes with it. All right, so freedom. Secondly, watch this, almost kill a myth today, that every person with fire is crazy or got some mental issues. That's, that's, that's crazy, because if you take the eye of fire, I want to show you that fire releases intelligence.
Where there is fire, there's also spiritual intelligence. So people with fire are not just people running around speaking in tongues and shouting and laying on the floor and rolling and foaming in the mouth. That's the impression that a lot of people have of people who move in fire.
I want you to know that ain't what fire is all about.
Fire releases intelligence, you know, and it's intelligence, honestly guys, that's central to biblical teaching. And when you, when you look at scripture, you'll see that fire, man, is really— are y'all here? It's really not just the capacity for learning or reasoning and understanding, but the spiritual intelligence that I'm talking about.
Listen to this, because when you feel the fire, you got sense too.
Because again, we got to show up in the world, right? We got to deal with people who are not saved. So we— so fire is a spiritual dimension that leads to— watch this— more goodness, virtuous decisions. Hear me. Oh my God, today. Oh my God. And the discernment to differentiate right and wrong. I'm gonna say that again. When you're filled with the fire of God, you're also filled with the intelligence of God, the wisdom of God. And it's the ability— it's a spiritual dimension that leads to moral goodness. People who live outside of the realm of moral goodness, who don't make virtuous decisions who cannot discern what's right and what's wrong. See, these people running around here talking about wrong stuff being right is because they do not have spiritual intelligence. But when fire shows up, it— oh my God— burns up the impure things, the thought processes that are beneath God. And now you have access to think through God's wisdom and God's intelligence.
Glory to God. Ushabanti aso, rakikaman soturabandia.
It's a moral compass. So you can't tell me you have fire and you don't have intelligence to make the right decisions that will be profitable for your life, because that's what fire does. It blocks those distractions that goes against God. So let's go to Proverbs 1:7 real quick. I'm almost done, guys.
I thank you for your patience. Thank you for your time. Glory to Jesus.
We lost a few people, but I, I thank you.
Thank you for staying on.
Glory to God. The Bible says here, watch this intelligence. It says the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge. There it is.
There it is.
Da'ath is knowledge. Glory to God. It's perception. It's skill. It's discernment, it's understanding, it's wisdom. Watch this, it's intelligence. Glory to God. So the fear of the Lord is the beginning of intelligence.
Listen, you're looking at somebody at one point in my life, I turned it all the way around when I got serious about God and let the Holy Spirit take over. Glory to the name of God. I was not smart at all in school. I was made—
when I—
because I was goofing off in 8th grade. I'm talking about D's and F's. I don't even know how I got from 8th to 9th grade, but by the grace of God, I made it. But from 8 to 9, I turned that all the way around and became a student with, uh, a honor roll student throughout my high school career.
Glory to God.
The reality is you can think yourself that you're not capable, but God will anoint your mind and give you intelligence to do things that pertain watch this, to what he has called you to do. Oh my God, today, whoa, Shia, my quarter, am I—
touch your mind and say, I'm intelligent. Glory to God. So fire and intelligence are part of God's nature, and if they're part of God's nature, they're part of your nature, they are part of you. Glory to God. So God possesses this omniscient quality. Let's just go there. His mind is omniscient, which means he knows everything. Omniscience means omnis— it's omniscience, which means all knowledge, all intelligence. So God knows everything. He's the only know-it-all that exists. But watch this: if you know the know-it-all, and if you spend time with him, what you need to know He will share with you what you don't know when you need to know it.
But you got to have fire in your life. It's a dimension of fire.
Because when that— watch this—
you ever heard somebody say a light just came on? Fire produces light. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Fire produces light. So light pops on.
Oh my God, that means that's the fire that's giving you innovation. You should have the fire of God so burning, so in your intellect, in your mind, that you could create and create things like he does. I'm telling you, there's some innovation in your belly. There's some creativity in your belly. So, that there's something in you that you can do creatively through the Holy Ghost that will blow people's minds.
Oh God, I love you, I love you. So he has this omniscient quantity and quality of knowledge. He's the intelligent King, he's the architect, he's the economist, he's the great philosopher of creation.
Glory, he knows everything. He is an expert in every realm of knowledge. He's an ontological genius. Glory to God. He's savant, he's virtuoso, and he's a mastermind. I'm just trying to tell you who you know. I'm just trying to show you the consuming fire. So let him consume all that stinking thinking, all that low thinking. I'm telling you, your God is awesome and there's nobody like him.
I got to get out of here. Take the R off fire— God, I wish I had time— and you get revival. Wherever fire shows up Glory to God. Revival. Glory to God. Comes. See, you can't have fire without revival. Revival. Re-vival, which means to re-life, to return life, to give more life.
That's what revival literally means, to bring life. And watch this, revival comes when we cry out for it. Let's go to 1 Kings 18, verses 36 through 38. I'm gonna be quick, stay with me, guys. Glory to God. The Bible says, at the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice— glory to God, I love it— Elijah the prophet came near and said, O Lord, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, let it be known today that you are God in Israel. And that I am your servant, and I have done all these things at your word. So watch this, two things are to note here. Glory to God. Matter of fact, three things. One, that at the time of the evening sacrifice. So understand that revival and fire comes through sacrifice. There has to be seasons of sacrifice and prayer. Watch this. I was talking to my wife today, and again, we've been in this season where we're making the decision about— because this building that we get is going to be home for a while. And at the end of the day, we, we had narrowed this thing down to two spots. And honestly, at first I was leaning toward one of the spots. I just loved the location, um, but I knew in my spirit it wasn't our home. And so I kept praying.
It never would sit right with me.
But my wife's Holy Ghost works a little faster than mine, so she had already came to the conclusion without even telling me. Today I told her, I said, well, you know, I think the— I said, the Lord is saying to me that this is what we need to do, and I think we need to let this other one go.
And she was like, thank you, Lord, I had already knew that. And one of the reasons we talked about it was so we can have a place for revival. Not just a series of services, but a place where we could cry out to God for revival, where we can have 5 AM prayer, where we can have prayer meetings every week.
Glory to the name of God. Because revival and fire is born in prayer. You, you got the church at this microwave church today. Glory to the name of God. Nobody wants to lay on their face, nobody wants to sacrifice. But revival and fire comes through sacrifice. Then secondly, the prophet was there. So revival always has a prophetic voice. You cannot kick prophets out the midst and talk about revival. Prophets and revival are tandem.
I don't care how many evangelists you bring in, you need a prophet in the mix.
If you're gonna have revival, because the prophet has the ability to see the future. The prophet has the ability to put his ear to God's mouth and judge the temperament of the culture and declare what is needed to bring forth revival. So the prophet was there.
Oh my God.
And then thirdly, the word was there. My God, he was praying The word. You cannot have revival for real without the word of God. I'm not talking about a whole lot of entertainment, somebody hooping and hollering and tuning up. And again, if God gets to that—
I mean, I preach like that sometime whenever God brings me to that, I do it.
But I've been preaching for 35 years. I'm a preacher. But what I do understand is that ministry is God's time, and that I should be led of the Spirit when I'm ministering.
Are y'all hearing this?
So it's not about entertaining or giving the people for say what they want, is giving the people what they need that comes from heaven. And what they need is the word. The Bible says here in verse number 37, he says, answer me, O Lord, answer me, that this people may know that you, O Lord, are God, and that you have turned their heart back again. That's what revival is, is when God invades a people and turns their heart, their passion, their desire back to him. Oh my God, oh my God, I dare somebody shout it, turn my heart again back to you. Glory to God.
Lord, I love him.
Oh, I love him.
Oh, I love him so much.
Woo-hoo-hoo-hoo-hoo. I love him so much. Jesus!
God wants to give us revival. He wants to give us revival. And finally, if you take the E— so you take the F, you had freedom. You take the I, you got intelligence. Takes the R, you got revival. Take the E off fire, watch this, you got evangelism. You cannot tell me that you're filled with fire and you have no concern for people who are lost. The word evangelism is one gelzio in Greek And it literally means to cry loud, to herald the gospel loud, to declare the truth of God to those that don't know him. See, we have spent a lot of time preaching to church folk, and I'm telling you right now, this season we're in, if we're going to move in fire, we got to take the fire of God's word to the people that do not know him. My God, today— go to Exodus 3. I'm almost done, I'm almost done, y'all. I know I've been with you a long time tonight. Don't stay with me. Exodus 3. God have mercy. See, I ain't seen y'all in a week, so at the end of the day, y'all getting it all now.
Glory to God. Oh, glory to God. Exodus 3, verse 1.
The Bible said Moses kept the flock of Jethro, his father-in-law, the priest of Midian, and he led the flock to the backside of the desert. Understand this. And came to the mountain of God, even to Haran.
And the angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire—
listen to this—
out of the midst of a bush.
And he looked, and behold, the bush burned with fire, and it was not consumed. Now it was dry heat, 160 degrees on the backside of the wilderness. Every other bush in the wilderness was being consumed because it was so hot and the heat was so dry. This bush was on fire. What made it unique, what made it particular, is that it did not burn up. It was not consumed. It couldn't be consumed because when fire is congruent with fire, huh, it only creates a bigger fire. It cannot be consumed. So God, who is a consuming fire, takes authority over the natural heat, and this bush doesn't burn up. Here's the other thing: it takes time for a bush to burn up. God is eternal. So when God's fire got on the bush, it took— oh my God— the rules of time and suspended them so the bush could not burn up. Same thing happened in the fiery furnace with the three Hebrew men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.
They couldn't burn up because the Eternal One got in the fire, took time out of the fire, and it takes time— oh boy— for something to burn. So this bush wasn't consumed. So because it wasn't consumed, it got Moses' attention. You see that in verse 3.
And Moses said, I'm gonna turn aside and see this great sight, why this bush is not burning up.
This is a great thing. All these other bushes on fire and burning down, this bush is still burning. Can I tell you something?
When the fire of God is on your life, things that should have burned you up will not burn you up. Oh my God, things that should have consumed you will not consume you. God will get the glory out of your life. God will keep you alive for his work, for his purpose, for his plan for you. Are y'all here? Oh my God, today, whoo! I'm gonna drop down to verse 7. And the Lord said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people. Which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of the tashmakos, for I know their sorrows. Now watch this.
God says to Moses, I seen these people bound, they need my help.
So he comes in a fire, he gives an instruction to go help people that need him out of fire. You cannot tell me that out of all the fire you say you experience all the fiery services you say you have, that not one time something doesn't ignite in you to go into the world, show up, and evangelize those who need God. I got to get out.
I got to—
I'm late for a meeting. All right, 8 o'clock with my team. One more scripture, Acts 1:8. I gotta finish it, guys. I gotta finish it because I gotta start talking about mountains Thursday. Acts 1:8. Glory to God. I could talk— I'm gonna have to revisit fire. Gloria, I can teach this until Jesus returns. Glory to God. But watch this. But ye shall receive power after the Holy Ghost has come upon you, and ye shall be witnesses. The word witnesses is martus in Greek. It's what it was like, martyr. You'll be willing to even die for the cause of God. Watch this. Unto me in Jerusalem and in Judea and in Samaria and unto the uttermost parts of the earth. It's very clear here that when the fire of Holy Ghost comes upon you, hear me, you're gonna have the desire to be a witness in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and the uttermost parts of the earth. Let's pray tonight. Father, in Jesus' name, I thank you for this time you give me with your people tonight, and I decree and declare, God, that they'll never be the same. I release the dimension of fire in their lives, and may the grace to live acceptably be upon them. May this fire consume everything in us that's not like you— every thought, every deed, every action. May it consume, be consumed by your fire in the name of Jesus.
And may we have works of fire.
We just got past the Fourth of July where people were setting off fireworks.
But God, I'm asking you to give us works of fire that will show up in the world and will make a big bang in the world, that people will see you and will do works of fire, that through us others will be healed. That through us others will be delivered, that through us others will be set free and restored and changed. And I pray for freedom and intelligence and revival in Jesus' name.
May it be so. Amen and amen.
