The Mystery of Dominion, Part 21: "Dominion and Gates, E" | Dr. Mike Woods, SR. | 29 MAR 26 6 PM

In this live teaching, Dr. Mike Woods, Sr. leads a congregation through a multi‑section sermon focused on spiritual heart health and dominion. He warns that past trauma, media, and sinful habits can harden the heart, making believers “bad ground.” He calls listeners to stop self‑labouring, take Jesus’ yoke, and receive a new spirit (Ezekiel 11:19) that transforms a stony heart into a heart of flesh. The teaching outlines a step‑by‑step process: (1) come to Jesus for rest; (2) receive a new heart; (3) fix the heart by obeying God’s word; (4) admit personal problems and practice confession; (5) surround yourself with godly friends; (6) practice unconditional forgiveness; (7) guard the “gate of Ephraim,” a metaphor for high spiritual standards that lead to double fruitfulness. Throughout, the pastor emphasizes continuous worship, listening to God’s word, and avoiding secular distractions. The service moves into a lengthy prophetic prayer segment with intercessory declarations of healing, prosperity, and spiritual acceleration for individuals, followed by practical announcements about upcoming leadership training, fasting, worship services, and a celebration of the church’s First Lady. The overall message is a call to spiritual renewal, active obedience, and communal engagement to unlock divine dominion and abundance.

The Bible says there's no other name given among men whereby we can be saved but the name of Jesus. The scripture further declares that every knee should bow And every tongue would confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. We declare it in this place that you are Lord God, and there is no other name above your name. Worthy is your name. Kela mande de deo satatabaye ko. Kolam bandi kasi antaya. That's his saving name, his saving name.
Hallelujah! That's the name we find power and rescue. Kilantata mandi ansaya. There's a time you said the name of Jesus in the church, people would lose it because they understood the power in that great name.
Shabbat to to Rabba Kataya.
He should be the center of all we do.
He should be the center of attention at all times. Worthy is your name, worthy is your name. Hallelujah! We bless you tonight, God. Hallelujah! There's an awesome presence that fills this room tonight. He is here for us. He is here for us. He's here for us. Hallelujah. We bless your name, wonderful Jesus. Great are you, mighty God, worthy to be praised. Hallelujah! Glory to God. Father, we thank you. A mic's still on. Father, we thank you for your goodness, your mercy, your grace. Thank you for your favor. Thank you for your very presence in this room right now. Father, do something tonight that man cannot do. Charge this atmosphere with glory, with power, with favor, with your love, with miraculous manifestations of who you are. Father, we thank you, we bless you. Rebuke diabetes, we rebuke high blood pressure. We rebuke tuberculosis and cancer, and we declare that the body is being made whole now in the name of Jesus.
We rebuke the spirit of infirmity for those in this room and even outside of this room.
We rebuke everything that's not like you, and we declare the victory in Jesus' name. May we be blessed by you tonight and never impressed by man, never impressed by me or any other person. May our impression be of you. So we yield ourselves to your usage. We humble ourselves as servants. Get the glory tonight. All of the messages declared and preached and taught. God, you get the glory out of this tonight, and we bless you for it, and we honor your name. Thank you for the light, the illumination, and the intelligence of the Holy Ghost. We praise you for it, Lord, in Jesus' name. Hallelujah! Would you clap your hands and bless the Lord tonight?
Come on, you can do better than that. Come on, thank God for Jesus.
Thank God for Jesus. While you're clapping, I release angels at my charge, and I declare that ministering spirits are in this room. I declare they are here to minister.
Ataba, come on, while you clap, we make this environment conducive For angelic presence, we give you glory.
We release angels even in our charge to go to where Asia's daughter is going to the hospital. We declare healing and deliverance now in the— we rebuke death, we rebuke sickness and disease, and we speak life. And we release angels now in the name of Jesus.
We declare it to be so. We dispatch angels to every home under the sound of my voice, and we declare that provision would be in that house.
We declare that every dry season would come to an end. We release angelic assistance that dry seasons would end tonight. God, we thank you. Not tomorrow, not next week, but we receive it now in the name of Jesus. And as we clap our hands and bless you and worship you and zamar you, we release angels to release provision. For your word declares the angels hearken to the voice of thy word. So Father, your word says— yes, God, your word says you would supply every need according to your riches in glory. Not our bank accounts, not our ability, not our skill. Oh God, not according to our anointing and our grace. But you said you would supply according to your riches. So Father, we release angels to enforce the covenant of your word, and we declare every need is met. And if we need it and it's not on earth, we thank you that the angels will create it because we need it. We declare not another day when we have lack and dry seasons. I declare that the dry seasons have come to an end. Well, you ought to praise him for that, unless you like dry seasons. But I declare— I heard the Holy Ghost say no more dry seasons. Somebody will catch that tomorrow morning. But if you receive it and put the angels on it, the Bible say your latter rain shall be greater than your former rain. I heard the Lord say the latter rain has come and the dry seasons have come to an end. I dare you open your mouth for this season of rain, this season of supply. The dry seasons are over.
Hallelujah! Oh God, woo!
No more dry seasons, I declare it in Jesus' name. And we release the angels, hallelujah, to go into Satan's camp and to return to us retribution, everything that belongs to us.
We release angels to go and get our children, to to go get our money. We command the devil, loose our money and let it go in the name of Jesus.
The dry seasons are over, says the Lord.
No more dry seasons. For I shall fill your cup and it shall run over. For know this, you are blessed beyond measure, and I have expanded your capacity so you might be a blessing on earth. For as much as you know your labor is not in vain, saith God. Kilatamande tebaia.
For I shall bring retribution and recompense.
For the days of dryness have come to an end, for the floodgates of heaven have opened upon you even now, said the Lord. And the floodgates of heaven shall eradicate dryness in every space and every place that pertains you. But receive it no more.
The angels are working on your behalf, and you shall be irrigated with the fruits of heaven, says the Lord of hosts.
Kela basha kotaya. I need somebody to praise God for this season of great rivers that are about to flow into our lives. This season of abundance and increase. Oh God! Yeah, I hear that.
For just as I drowned Pharaoh's army in the Red Sea and they were no more.
For I shall drown your Egyptian mindsets and thought processes. And the thing that has been chasing you to kill you, God said, now I shall drown it in the—
whoo— the rivers and the oceans of heaven. And those enemies will be no more, and you shall win. And oh my God, never lose.
If you will trust me.
The only reason the enemies of your past and the things that have held you down will continue to chase you, said the Lord, they'll only keep chasing you and coming after you.
Glory be to Jesus.
Is that you remain stagnant, you remain disobedient, you, you will not align with what I've told you to do. You have considered yourself me. You considered yourself God. And I say unto you, you are not me. I'm your Father.
I'm your King.
And if you will trust my voice, and if you will trust my word, if you believe the word of my prophets, you will prosper.
You will be established.
You will be launched forward, and I will lift you higher than you've ever gone. But you shall remain in the same place, going round and round in circles, if If you don't obey—
why, Sandra, you obey, obey, obey, obey. Trust me, some of you must blindly obey the instructions I've given you. Obey so I can show myself.
You're trying to control it and you can't. You're trying to hover over what I'm—
what I've done for you and you can't.
You're trying to structure it thinking that you're being a good steward. No, you're not.
You're being disobedient, saith God. God says you now must reposition yourself so I can end the dryness. You are the cause of the dryness, saith God.
I never intended for you to have dry seasons for this long. But you have chosen not to obey me.
But if you obey, I will relinquish you forever from dryness, and you will live in the realm of abundance and supply all the days of your life, says the Lord. But you must obey. You must obey. You must obey, says the Lord. Hallelujah, hallelujah. I've told you, I take no pleasure in you that will draw back, in you that will hold out your talents, your gifts, your anointings, your treasures. For I take no pleasure and those that hold back your righteous behavior, you gotta let it go, says the Lord of Hosts. And we give you praise and we give you glory, God. Come on, bless his name again. Come on, open your mouth, open your mouth. Come on, open your mouth. Hallelujah. If I were you, I wouldn't play with God. You better obey him. Glory to God. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. We give you praise. We give you glory. God's a good God. And beside him there is no other. Y'all good tonight? All right, glory to God. Let's, um, let's jump into this because I want to cover this tonight. The Lord released me to teach what I was going to teach this morning, so we're going to teach it. Glory to God. Hallelujah. He's a good God. He's a great God and greatly to be praised. All right, this is part 21 of the mystery of dominion. Say this with me. Say, in the name of Jesus.
Say, it is God's will that I dominate, that I rule, that I have influence in the world. Say, in Jesus' name. I'm coming into who I am, how I fit, how I show up in the world. Say, my gifts, my talents, my abilities, my anointing is necessary. Say, the world needs me. Say, in the name of Jesus, I am a dominionaire. I am a person of authority. I'm in authority, of authority, under authority. I have been assigned by the King himself to have dominion, and in the name of Jesus, I will walk in it. In Jesus' name, amen. Man, if you believe that, give God a praise in this room.
Hallelujah! Glory to God. All right, we're gonna get into this. I believe God's got something to say to us and I want to hear it. Praise God. First of all, let me start here. You gotta have a desire, man, to move into places in God that you've never moved before. You gotta want it's not gonna just happen, right? Because I said this, I think this morning or last week, so I don't remember when I said it. I think it might have been this morning, it might have been last week. I think it was last week. I said God's a gentleman, so he won't force you to do anything. Are y'all hearing this? He won't force you to walk out dominion. He won't force you glory to God, to obey him and, and not be religious and just settle.
And that's what this teaching tonight is about. It's about being obedient and not settling for less than God has provided. And these—
this gate I'm going to talk about tonight, the Gate of Ephraim, is all about settling the fact that I, I must do my part to receive what God has for me. Say that one. Say, I must do my part to receive what God has for me.
Now you got to know, if we on this 20— we, I mean, we've been in this—
this is the 21st message.
I've been telling y'all, we teaching this this long because God really wants us to get it. Are y'all with me? He don't want this just to be another message you heard and you don't walk out.
Are y'all with me? He wants you to really walk this out for real. Say, I gotta walk it out for real. All right, go to my first scripture, Mario. We don't get into this, uh, I was gonna do a little review, but I think I'm gonna just run with it. Glory to God. So the Bible says in Nehemiah 12:39, glory to God, it says, and from above the gate of Ephraim— somebody say Ephraim.
He says, from above the gate of Ephraim, glory to God, he says, and above the old gate And above the Fish Gate and the Tower of Haniel and the Tower of Meah, even unto the Sheep Gate.
And to—
and they stood still in the Prison Gate. So tonight again, we're going to look at this gate called Ephraim.
Somebody say Ephraim.
Now let's just get a working definition of what Ephraim means.
Glory to God. Ephraim's name means doubly fruitful.
Say doubly fruitful. Not just fruitful, but doubly fruitful. There's a dichotomy of fruitfulness that should exist in your life.
You should be fruitful in the realm of the spirit, and you should be fruitful in the things that pertain to your assignment and your purpose You should be fruitful, glory to God, in wealth.
You should be fruitful in many aspects of your life. Matter of fact, in everything you touch. Say that with me. Say, in everything I touch, I need to be fruitful. Said, doubly fruitful. Now you got to understand, this is the first charge of the fivefold commission of man.
In Genesis 1.
Go there, next slide, Mario. Genesis 1:28, and y'all know this one. And God blessed them. I'm gonna just hit this because I hit it this morning. Anytime God opens his mouth and says something— and God blessed them and said unto them— are y'all hearing this? So whenever God speaks, y'all remember this morning, it's law. So you got to have a sensitivity. Dominion cannot happen without a voice from God. So even as we were praying this morning, I want you guys to get a sensitivity to God's voice because you got to know what he is saying. Matter of fact, right here, right now, put your hand on your ears and say, Father, in the name of Jesus, anoint my ears. To hear your voice. Say, in Jesus' name, help me to hear and not hear, so that the voice that stands out is your voice. And when you speak, I will obey, because what you say becomes law. I want, I want you to walk that out. Because all you got to silence the other voices, because guess what? We've been programmed to hear things a certain way. And so, but when God speaks, it becomes law. But watch this, on the other end, that, that you receive as authority, when it speaks, it also becomes law. So there are negative word curses that have been spoken over many people's lives in the past. And what they did was they received it as law. God knows I'm so glad I didn't speak— he received some of the stuff that was spoken over my life. You're gonna— you ain't nothing, you ain't gonna never be nothing, you're just so sorry, boy.
What's that to say to a child?
But at the end of the day, I'm glad God had me even as a kid not to receive that crap. I'm glad there was a preceding voice. And even as a little boy, I was clear on the voice of God. What am I saying? Most people are living out a life that's connected to a voice that got them there. Most people's— what you see as a manifestation in your life is manifesting because of a voice in the past that you've allowed to continue in your life. Listen, you could be trying to process new information and you'll block it and reject it because that old voice, that old traumatizing voice, is stealing from you what God's trying to give you. Watch this. God's word is spermatic, so when he speaks, it's always a spermatic release. Which means it's a seed and there's life in it. Are y'all hearing this? If God's voice is spermatic, I want to open up the womb of my spirit, my ground, to receive it. Many times we are not fruitful because we have not received the seed of God, because we've taught this about us being fruitful and sowing what's in us to the world. But watch this, you really can't do that if you haven't opened yourself up as ground. Are y'all seeing this? I know we've been to church, but what kind of ground are you? Has God been able to plant the spermatic seed of his word in your life? And maybe the unfruitfulness is connected to the kind of ground you are.
Are y'all hearing this? Okay, maybe that's for the people in here.
I'm trying to get us to the meaning, man. We got to become ground so that when God's work— not just good preaching and good teaching, but when God speaks, our spirit is open and that thing he says can be planted in the soil of us. Notice what he said. He blessed them.
They were the soil.
And said— he sowed his spermatic word—
be fruitful. Say fruitful. Now that, that's 5 things in there, like the 5-fold ministry: fruitful, multiply, replenish, subdue, dominion. 5. Glory to God. Um, here's the interesting thing. If you don't learn to receive—
hear me—
you'll never be positioned where you can effectively give.
Here's what people are doing, because you reproduce after your kind. Are y'all hearing this now? Okay, you just gotta know who you are. And if you don't know who you are, you're gonna reproduce and multiply yourself over and over again. Every time you— watch this— if you haven't received who you really are in identity, you're gonna keep multiplying unfruitful things in your life.
Here, what we— here's what we need to do. We need to open up to receive. Some people don't know how to receive.
I used to be that way. I used to— didn't want nobody give me nothing because I didn't want you to feel like I owed you something.
Are y'all hearing this?
I'm not just talking about a word, but don't get out— I was like, no, I'm good. I would need it, and pride would say no because I don't want you to feel like I got to give you something back.
Are y'all hearing this?
But reality is we got to learn how to receive on all levels. And I know somebody said, well, nobody will never give me that. But maybe it's because you're not open to receive blessings. Look for those who— I mean, I believe right now there's property looking for you, there's money looking for you, there's careers looking for you, there's purpose looking for you, contracts looking for you, but they won't show up because they know you won't receive them. You're closed. Someone said, no, I'm open.
Well, we're gonna see in a minute.
Let's look. So let's look at Ephraim just a little bit, uh, just a little bit. Ephraim, first of all, he was— Joseph had two sons, so he was one of the two sons of Joseph. In Nehemiah's progression here in the text, he wanted Ephraim, this gate, to be rebuilt and repaired so that every person that passed through the gate would be fruitful enough to ensure that the kingdom functioned. Notice, go, go back one, Mario, so that I want to show you something. Notice where it was located. And from above the Gate of Ephraim, it was the highest gate of all gates. And above the Old Gate and above the Fish Gate and above the Tower and the Tower of Haniel and Tower of Miah, even to the Sheep Gate. And they stood still in the pre— so this gate was a watch gate. It was a high gate. And when you passed through this gate, you were inventoried for what you brought into the kingdom. Oh God. So watch this. God is checking your fruit all the time. Notice what he says in the book of Revelation. I stand at the door and I knock. If any man open the door, I'll come in, sup with him, he with me. Are y'all hearing this? So notice he said, I'm gonna sup with you. So you at the table when you let him in. So that means you supping with somebody, a potluck. Turn— y'all have those all the time. Everybody brings something. Are y'all hearing this? And, and you bring something because everybody else bringing something, then you want to make sure you contribute your part. Are y'all hearing this? You might have some folks show up that don't bring nothing and sit at the table and decide they gonna eat anyway. But the reality is, when you're supping and having fellowship with somebody at the table, what are you bringing? So if I'm supping with God, what am I coming to the table with? Or am I just sitting down saying, 'Lord, what you gonna give me?
You gonna give me some money? You gonna give me a house? Gonna give me a car?
Give me a husband? Give me a wife?' We— because that's how we act. We think God's a sugar daddy, and he's not. He says, 'What are you showing up with?' This is the next exchange. What gifts you bringing? Are you gonna lay down your life and serve me? This is why he's still at the door knocking, because some people don't want to let him in because they know if they sit at that table, they got to give up something. What are you willing to give up in the exchange so the kingdom can be advanced?
Are y'all with me? Go to Mark 4. All right, we're gonna start here. We're gonna— I want to read this parable because I think it's important. Amen. Mark 4, let's start at verse number 3.
He says, listen— I'm reading out a New Living Translation.
The King James is on the screen.
He said, a farmer went out to plant some seed.
Y'all know I really want to stop right there, right?
I told you, you got to bring something. Something. You can't reap a harvest in a field where you have not sown. You got to show up. Oh God. And farmers need seed to have business. Now I gave Apostle Richardson credit about 5 times, now I'm keeping it. Okay, so at the end of the day, I'm not— the credit attribution is over. Glory to God. Apostle, if you're watching, I gave you 5 times, brother. It's mines now. So, because I dug in it some more anyway, I added something to this thing. There are billions of dollars of loans that have been taken out by farmers to buy seed. Why? Because they understand I cannot be fruitful I cannot pass through the gates of Ephraim without seed. I mean, farmers will go into debt to buy seed on a promise that if I plant it, I'm gonna get a harvest. So the question again, what are you willing to sacrifice? What are you willing to give up to get a harvest? Let me read And verse 4, as he scattered it across the field, some of the seed fell on footpath. Glory to God.
And the birds came and ate it.
Verse 5, other seed fell on shallow soil with underlying rock. The seed sprouted quickly because the soil was shallow. Verse 6, but the plant soon wilted. You can go to the next slide, Mario.
6 through 8 is there, I think.
He says, but the plant soon wilted under the hot sun. And since it did not have deep roots—
here we go— it died.
I want to stop right here for a moment because no matter what you're doing in the kingdom, whether you're sure, mother, in the world, whether you watch this being a receiver, allowing God to plant into you, the roots need to take deep. I want to suggest to you that maybe some of the fruit you've been yielding is a result of old root systems. See, you can get saved and still have a root system that you haven't uprooted in order to get a new harvest. You have to uproot those systems. Oh my God, every tree has a root system that you can't even see underground that causes the tree to have life. Your life has a root system. Here's a problem: most people's root system on the outside, we go through the motions of church and being saved. But brooding beneath the surface is a root system of religion that needs to be broken, because God's trying to push something new on you. He's trying to shift your mind to new harvest and new fruit, but he can't because that old root system is still in place. And there you can't plant on top of an old system. Hey, come on, Jesus! You can't put new wine in old wineskins. You gotta uproot that old system. Watch this. My grandmother— I remember this when I was a little boy— she, she had live plants that stayed alive, mind you. And if a plant outgrew a pot, she wouldn't keep trying to keep that plant in the pot. She uprooted, and you can see all the stuff hanging off it, and replanted in a bigger pot because the new growth had to have room to create a new system so that the plant can be further matured. Some of us are still trying to cram stuff from the old system in the same pot. And God says, I need to uproot you and put you in a new pot. Now watch this, this has nothing to do with the type of church you went to, because some of you went to a church that looked like it was a charismatic church. You got to be careful because the word charismatic means entertaining. That— look it up. You— and you look— went to a church where the pulpit was clear and the preacher walked around with a Bible and taught. You thought you was in something new. No, you were just in another form of religion. And that's a root system too, because you never learned how to actually do the kingdom. Oh boy, you were just— you were there, you got what you got. But what you got to understand now is there's more.
I gotta uproot that system.
'Cause for where you're going, that system won't work. That pot is too small. It's a church pot and you need a kingdom pot. It's not a dominion pot. You need a place where you can show up and rule and you can keep growing. Okay, okay, all right, I see how y'all doing.
Okay, I'm gonna keep moving. Verse number 8, he says, still—
well, no, verse number 7, he said, other seed fell among thorns and grew up and choked out the tender plants so they produce no fruit. You got to be careful that you don't allow people who don't understand your process and where he is taking to choke out your dreams, to choke out your vision.
Because you can have some people that don't understand what God is doing in you, and you just lend your ear to what they saying, and they'll choke your dreams out.
Watch this, sometimes it ain't people, it's circumstances that will choke your dreams out. You could be going through so bad and you'll be like, I don't want to do this because this is hard. Are y'all hearing this? This is tough, God, I don't want to keep going. And, and what is happening, that system is trying to choke you out so you don't finish.
So you got to be careful. I'm just supposed to be reading this, got a lot of COVID Let me keep, let me keep reading.
Verse, verse 8 says, still other seeds fell on fertile ground. And they sprouted, they grew, and produced a crop, some 60, some 30, some 60, and even 100 times as much as they had been planted.
Then he said, anyone who has ears to hear should listen and understand. So he said, don't avoid this. It's important to understand this parable, and I'm gonna tell you in a moment why this parable is important.
Let me keep reading.
He said, later, when Jesus was alone with the 12 disciples and the others who were gathered around, they asked him what the parable meant. Verse 11, he replied, you are permitted to understand the secret of the kingdom of God, but I use parables for everything I say to outsiders. Wait a minute, so there's a code in the kingdom?
Listen, this is Jesus talking.
He says everybody won't understand what you're saying.
Watch this. When you—
oh, here we go— are you real? I talked about this Thursday. A real apostolic hub driving kingdom progression, you're gonna be persecuted. Are y'all hearing this? Why are you gonna be persecuted?
You're gonna be persecuted, number one, because of your purpose. Your purpose is to deploy people to take over. Over in their fear of influence. So the persecution is going to come. You're going to be persecuted also because of your perspective, how you view things, because now you're going to start looking at things different than everybody else. And then guess what they'll say?
That must be a cult.
That's a cult. You, you got to go to church in the morning and at night. That's a cult. No, we learned how to take dominion.
Are y'all hearing this?
But you're gonna have the persecution because your perspective is shifting. Watch this. You'll also be persecuted because— are you hearing this? Your posture. Your posture is a threat to the enemy because you're now standing in a place where you can defeat him for real. I'm telling you, that's why I'm not intimidated by small crowds. This ain't just good church. This is God raising up a grassroots group of people to really change the world in their fear of influence. I use this.
Somebody said to me, they said, well, Pastor, I know I'm supposed to be at your church because I'm, I'm over here and I'm dying. My pastor just ain't teaching nothing.
And I ain't growing.
I just need to get over there so I can learn. I'll be watching.
I know I need to be a part of your church. And the next thing, Lord, the Lord said, well, tell her to go. I said, well, go, get up, come on. If you know your season is up, get up and go. About 2 months ago, I ain't seen him yet. Listen, I'm not going to waste time on indecisiveness. Either you want it or you don't. The reality is, if you know you dying, why sit ye here and die? Why you gonna sit there? No, you're getting malnourished.
Okay, yeah, yeah, you want life support for real.
Like, gee, it's because of what's in you. And that word ain't enough to feed where God's trying to take you.
Okay, if you're watching, I love you. I just want you to make a decision.
Go and do what you got to do. Stop playing, because time is of an essence. God needs you to get ready, and he's going to accelerate this thing in such a big way. Okay, so there's a code in the kingdom that you can't— you can't even spy on what God's trying to do. God said no, either you in or you out. And the other stuff you gotta figure out is gonna be released in a mystery. But guess what God's given us? He's given us the mystery of dominion. He's unlocking this for us so we know how to do Can I submit to you, if you miss one of these 21 messages, you need to go back and watch the ones you miss, because inside of it is the blueprint on how to take dominion. And I'm gonna keep teaching until God releases me. Glory to Jesus. He said, I use parables for everything I say to the outsiders. Somebody say, the outsiders. I'm gonna tell you something, man.
Everybody that go to church ain't a kingdom-minded person.
They won't even understand what you're talking about. You start talking kingdom, you start talking about dominion— what? They start thinking you, you thinking about controlling people. That's not what we're talking about. We're talking about influence. We're talking about reversing the dominion that is already in place, displacing it and replacing it with God's people. There are people in every arena— media, politics, finance, commerce, military, government, in every education, every sector of life— controlling those sects that are not saved. So we gotta displace them and replace the dumb, the people who are dominating, with people of God.
Are y'all here? But you ain't gonna never do it lazy. You ain't gonna never do it if you don't want it. All right, let me keep reading.
He says, so that the scriptures might be fulfilled. What they— when they see what I do, they will learn nothing. When they hear what I say, listen to this, they will not understand. Otherwise they will turn to me and be forgiven. So God says, I want to marvel on them, to marvel at the teaching, marvel at the miracles so that they'll want to get inside so they can be saved. Oh God. Then Jesus said to them, if you can't understand the meaning of this parable, how you understand the other parables? The farmer plants seed by taking God's word to others.
Verse 15, that seed fell on the footpath represents those who hear the message only to have Satan come at once and take it away. That happens most Sundays at most churches.
The spermatic word is released.
Remember, and God said, and he blessed them. The word will come forth, but because the ground—
remember, you are ground—
you hear it, but it doesn't plant. And then Satan comes and steals it because your ground is fallow. Are y'all hearing me?
Verse 16: The seed on rocky soil represents those who hear the message and immediately receive with joy.
Oh my God, a whole lot of that happens. People get the word and get happy. They'll run, they'll do a praise break over the word and be excited with joy, running around the building with joy. Nothing wrong with that. Here's the problem: it's not just for you to grab and get joyous about in the moment. When God speaks, it's a life-giving word, because again, it's spermatic, for you to take out of the church and change lives. Are y'all with me? Oh boy.
He says, okay, it's verse 17, but since they don't have deep roots—
because again, getting emotional about the word, it's not— sometimes we can get too emotional and the word don't take root. I've been teaching sometime in some places, not y'all, but some places, and some folk be shouting over what I'm about to say.
I ain't even said it yet.
I could be about to call them a jigaboo and they just be done said amen.
I can't even get it all the way out. Amen mean I agree. Some people are not engaged. They want to be in church. They want to have good church. And what makes them have good church? Oh, glory, preach, Pastor! But have you heard what he said? Because you can get joy about it and it don't take root because your ears were not sensitized.
Oh wow, okay, y'all quiet. Okay, I'm gonna keep moving. 'Cause I don't want y'all to stone me. He says the seed that fell among thorns represents others who hear God's word, but— verse 19—
but all too quickly the message is crowded out by worries of this life, the lure of wealth, and the desire for other things, so no fruit is produced.
So the word comes forth and you still don't have faith to trust God.
It was in vain.
It didn't take root. And we're going to look at why, okay? He says, and the seed that fell on good soil represents those that hear, accept the word, and produce a harvest.
So that's what we want, right?
The word to be taught.
Now then, we just dance over it. It's okay to have joy about it, but let's let it get on good ground. Let's be good ground so it's not just another sermon or another teaching or another good adjustment of the text and another good process of hermeneutics. Are y'all hearing this? Because again, you, you have churches that are packed out with people and the preacher preach. He lives for the joy moment, the celebration moment. Preachers love that. I mean, I'd like to see people enjoying the word, but the first thing I want you to do is let this thing take good ground.
And that's the only way that's going to happen.
I got to teach you how to become ground. Because guess what? Coming up, we just went to church. We didn't understand that we were actually ground that the word were being sown on, because we didn't understand this parable. Because the preachers just preached to us. A lot of times You know, he was more happier than we was. No, okay, another message for another day. All right, so why is it vital to understand this parable? First thing, I want you to write it down. All this— notice in the parable, all the seed that was sown was exactly the same. Only the ground is different. We read it, right? The same seed of the word. Listen to me, it was in all three cases same word. The only difference was the ground. So the question becomes, what kind of ground are you?
So if you don't understand this parable—
watch this— you won't understand any parable, because you got to learn how to receive whatever is spoken. Are y'all with me? Here's the lesson: God and his word are the same all the time.
He don't change. The effectiveness of what you receive changes when you become a different kind of ground.
Touch yourself, say, I'm ground. Yeah, see, the quality of life that comes out of the word is based on how we respond in application to what we hear. not just hearing it but doing it, not just information but application. Y'all hear? All right, number 2, write it down. There are 4 types of ground in the text we just read. Just breaking this parable down. The first one was ground that receives absolutely nothing because Satan comes immediately and steals what was sown. This is what we don't want to be. We don't want to be the ground. If you're going to be in here, you got to sit down, man.
I'm telling you right now, because you can't interrupt the service. So you're gonna be here, sit and listen to the word, all right?
Say this with me. Say, in the name of Jesus, I'm good ground, and when the word is sown, I'm gonna receive it, and Satan cannot steal it. The second type of ground was ground that was full of rocks and had no depth. Glory to God. That kind of ground is that you hear a word and it'll last for a little while Listen to me. And then as soon as trouble rise or life starts lifing, you forget the word you heard and you go back to the old system because the word didn't take root. Are y'all here? Because that just lets you know right there that word It don't change God. His word is the same. He can't lie. But if it didn't take root, it's on you, it's on me. Because if I react to life unbecoming to the word— see, most of us are reactionary. Life happens and we react to life based on a system that was taught to us that wasn't necessarily rooted in God's word.
Hallelujah.
Because most of the time what happens here, you follow impulses. You follow impulses and you say, oh my God, I got— I, I need to pay this bill. And so impulse starts making you react to the bill and not what God said about the bill.
Okay, yeah, that's too close.
Okay, I'm just saying nothing is ever big as it first appears. It looks big, but you gotta not react to it like you normally would. You sit up there worried half to death about a bill, and you serve a God that said he will supply all your needs. You know that scripture, but did that scripture take root? Oh God, I'm serious. Did it take root? You know that word. By taking root, do you really believe it? When you go to the doctor and they tell you something that ain't favorable, who you gonna trust? You don't leave the office of the doctor bent out of shape. Are y'all hearing this? Or are you gonna trust the word of the Lord, knowing that God will do exactly what he said if you trust him.
I'm just saying, what kind of ground are you?
Yeah, third kind of ground is ground that cannot focus. Notice it said it was distracted by the things of the world. So the ground that cannot focus is distracted by pleasure. See, a person that got mixture in their life where the word of God comes forth and asks them to dismiss the pleasures of the world from their life and they don't, that word is never going to take root because you can't have mixture with purity and toxic behavior. Are y'all hearing this? A sure sign you ain't receiving the word because you keep operating in toxic behavior. Notice how you got to become the ground.
I'm just trying to get us to dominion, y'all. I really am. I'm gonna let y'all go. I'm gonna let y'all go.
We got a few more moments. Say, I'm good ground. So I cannot be distracted by pleasure, delight, popularity, glamour, and any other thing that breaks my focus from what God said. You make life hard when you do that. You got word coming to you but won't apply it.
Number 4, you had well-adapted soil.
This kind of soil, glory to God, produces 30, 60, or 100-fold.
See, when you're really walking in the word, you won't have partial harvest like 30-60.
When you walk out the word, you'll be seeing 100-fold returns. A 100-fold return on the word is 10,000%. That's a lot of percent.
We be fussing about 6% interest rate.
God said, if you walk out my word I'll give you 10%, 10,000% return on what I told you.
You gotta believe that, man.
That means, you know, you're getting 10,000% return on something, that means it's always flowing and it never stops. Hey, glory! 10,000% means you living off the interest. You have created a whole lifestyle just off the interest of what you have planted as seed, or what you have invested. That's why when it comes time to sow, stop looking for the lowest denomination. If you really want a 10,000%, a thousand times more return, you need to sow like you want that. Okay, let's stop half doing stuff for God. So y'all won't think I'm just talking about money, I'm talking about all of it. You gotta give God a hundredfold type sacrifice. Are y'all with me?
Oh boy, this lets us know that not all good, well-adapted soil produces the same fruit. So that's why you can see somebody else who's prospering, they serve the same God. It ain't that God has respect of person, he respects principles.
Oh God, he respects principles. So if one is adhering to the principle more than the other, God's gonna honor the principle, not that he loved them more No, quite the contrary. They are proving they love him by obedience. Okay, so I can't get mad if I see someone with a jet and I need one. I need to figure out how to become the ground. Are y'all hearing this? To produce that jet. I can't get mad if someone builds a new church or buys a new church. I need to become the ground so I can buy a new church. Are y'all hearing this? That's why the stuff we see manifested with this new building, the 33 acres around the corner, it's me becoming ground. It's me listening to the spermatic words from God of what God can do beyond what I'm looking at. Are y'all hearing this? We gonna see a hundredfold return in all of the things God has promised us. But the reality is, I have to stay good ground. You know what I mean? So never means I can never get to a point where I don't listen, because there are people that know more than I know about that. So I'm always listening to people who are in that sphere of influence on how to maintain good ground so I'm making the right moves every time. Are y'all hearing this?
Because we don't know everything.
The Bible said we're ever learning and coming into the knowledge of truth.
Oh boy. So the level of obedience then that a person is willing to walk in When it comes down to the word, most of the time determines what is manifested and what comes forth. Are y'all here? Yeah, God.
So you gotta ask yourself the question: how many compromises do I make?
How many times do I compromise when God tells me to do something? Are y'all here? Sometimes I say, 'Boss, you brought me out here tonight for this.' Yeah, I did, because I'm trying to get you to dominion. Hallelujah. So why do we need to understand this parable? Here's another reason. He shows us that the heart that is hard and deceived received can never receive from God. Watch this. The word comes forth and the world now is filled with people that receive that word in a variety of ways, right?
But a lot of times people hear the word and won't take it in because of hardness of heart. Sometimes you can be up here talking and teaching, there are people that will not receive nothing you're saying. Are y'all hearing this? Because their heart is hard. And I want you to really examine yourself because you're missing an opportunity if you're rejecting what God is saying to really move in the dimension of dominion that you've never really experienced and never thought you would experience because you chose to obey.
Are y'all with me? You got to make sure your heart ain't hard. Let's look at some scripture. Uh, go, go to the next slide, Mario. I think I got it there. Yeah, Acts 28:26. Let's look at that.
He says, saying, go unto this people and say, hearing you shall hear and shall not understand, and seeing you shall see and not perceive. For the heart of this people is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes have they closed.
What a waste, man.
Oh God, lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their eyes and understand with their heart and should be converted. And I should heal them. In other words, the healing, the miracles, the deliverance, the breakthrough you need will not happen until you open your eyes, open your ears, open your heart to understand, and then allow that word to convert your heart. Allow that word to destroy— watch this— that root system. Because a lot of time we think that root system is right, man. That thing is full of strong delusion because we can be comfortable in an old system and there's a lot of delusion and illusions in it that the word of God— and then people try to mix that root system with the word. Like this guy, Carlton Pearson, who I love this man, man, but he went left and start talking about everybody already saved and start preaching this doctrine of inclusion that again the church labeled as heretical. But what he was trying to do was mix a system because he still tried to stay like he was, as now he wants to say everybody's always saved.
God's not a Buddhist, God's not a Methodist, God's not a Christian, all that stuff.
Inclusion. And everybody's included. There is no hell, right? You cannot have that kind of mixture. And then he wanted to still preach out the Bible and mix it. There's no power in that. That's deception. He wanted to keep one system and introduce a new system, and God says, I gotta step up off of this. Because there's no anointing in that. That's not truth. And he didn't allow himself to be converted by the word. He had a hard heart because he, he didn't feel like he could be saved— hear this— and get to heaven in what he was preaching because of struggles that he was dealing with.
Are y'all hearing this?
So what we'll do many a times, we'll try to make the word fit our struggle.
It is what it is, man.
And what you got to do is decide what you want.
Now, either you want to be converted and be healed, but you got to receive it. You got to get that stuff out of your heart. Yeah, you ever seen some folk that they'll come to your house and they'll be flipping the TV and they'll get to a Christian station and flip real fast because they don't want to stop and hear no preaching. Or you—
or they'll be on social media, just scroll right past the word, go and look for something else, because they think that their heart— their heart is hard. They think that preachers in the church, because of the example that has been displayed, is a bunch of junk. And why am I going to waste my time listening to that? That's why we got to get this thing right, so that people will want to engage us, so that people will want to hear what we got to say. You know how we do it? We gotta live what we preach. We gotta live what we talk about. It's, it's a lot of preachers that's real good at holding this mic, but they live a nickel worth of nothing. And we gotta learn how to live what we preach. I don't care what nobody say, holiness is still right. Are y'all hearing this? The Bible said without holiness no man can see God.
Are you—
watch this. So that means now, not just when I die in the eschatology way, I want to see God and have heaven on earth. I can't have heaven on earth if I'm living like a heathen. And then throws— throw the grace card at it. You'll never have heaven on earth living like that because the Bible says sin separates you from God. So every time you sin, there's a separation, and you got to fix that and repent and get back in the right place with God.
It separates you.
What if you die while you're doing it? I never seen nobody in the midst of sin repenting. Maybe in the back of your head, Lord, forgive me, I know this is wrong. That's kind of sick. Are y'all hearing this? Why are you doing it then? You know it's wrong. You just shouldn't have been there.
Okay, this is too much. Okay, I'm gonna keep going. I'm gonna keep going.
I could tell. I'm gonna keep going. Here's other reason why people's heart is hard and why they are deceived by their hardness of heart. There are people— watch this— who have been hurt by folk in the church, and because they've been hurt by folk in the church, now they can't receive from nobody. That's sad, but everybody in the kingdom ain't the same, and you can't blame God Are y'all hearing this? For what somebody else did. You got a lot of people walking around, I've been— I got church hurt, I've been hurt by the church. And people will use that quick as to why they don't go to church. But I don't know why I'll never hear nobody talking about club hurt. You don't hear nobody in the world talking about I got hurt at the club. They hurt you in the club too, they hurt you at the street, but you keep going. When you was the sinner, you kept going with— no matter how somebody hurt you, you kept doing what you were doing. They're supposed to get high with other folk. They get hurt by them, they still go get high with them. Are y'all hearing this? You got to get healed so you can receive from God, because a lot of time it makes you think God don't care about you. So why should I listen to the word? God don't care.
Oh boy, let me get out of here, man. Let's get out of here. I want to get— let me hit this, because humanism, which is ISM, humanism, ignorance that separates members, human issues that separate members.
It is secularism, it's more trust in the world than God.
That's what humanism is.
That means you trust human ways of doing things over God's way of doing things. Sadly, saints, it's a lot of Christians that's humanist. They go to church, but they trust the ways of the world. They trust those old root systems over what God said.
Oh man, I'm not getting many amens here tonight, but it's okay.
Glory to God. Say ignorance that separates members.
Ignorance that separates members. See, humanistic people have an agenda that's deceiving— watch this— a whole bunch of people, even people who call on the name of Jesus. I want to show you this because it's centered around human interest. You got preachers who use their pulpit every Sunday to raise humanistic concerns—
watch this—
without a solution in the supernatural. Natural. I get it, you know, everybody called it different stuff, but we have to be careful that you get so deep in a cause that you reject the supernatural. Are y'all hearing this? All right, go to Hebrews 3.
Let's look at it, because humanistic people don't want to wait.
They don't want delayed gratification. They don't want accountability. They just want to complain.
They want to be heard. They want to march.
They want to boycott stuff.
They want to talk about Black Lives Matter. They do matter. All life matter.
Are y'all hearing this?
Not just Black life, all life matters. But the humanistic side will herald that and miss what God is able to do for people.
Watch here, here's, here's, here's something about God's people. Watch this. He says, wherefore, as the Holy Ghost said, today if you will hear his voice— there's that voice again, okay?
See, this is a cure for a hard heart that's humanistic, that wants things your way.
He said, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness, when your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my work works 40 years.
Provocation means provocation for the vocation. God says, listen, I spoke to them.
They didn't have to be in the wilderness for 40 years.
Watch this. They wasn't because they didn't listen to my voice.
They stayed in that wilderness going round and round because they weren't paying attention to what I was saying. He said, your fathers, these people that went before you, they tempted me, proved me. Me, even though they saw what I was doing. You can see God working and see him doing things for other people and still reject him when your heart is hard. Because if you're humanistic, you're more comfortable leaning on your humanity. That's not the will of God. You'll never take dominion like that. You'll always be a regular human. Glory to God, man.
I don't have time to deal with all—
go to Jeremiah 17. We'll go back. What? Go back, Mario. Let's go there. Let's, let's go there.
We'll go there.
He says, wherefore I was grieved with that generation and said, they do always err in their heart and they have not known my ways. So I swear in my wrath, they shall not enter into my rest. Okay, here we go. What you don't want to do, leaning on your carnality or your humanistic ways, is to miss the promise of God. I don't know about you, but I want rest, and I don't want it when y'all on Facebook seeing my picture saying, 'Rest well, Apostle.' I want rest now.
Are y'all hearing this?
Now you do see somebody gone rest well, they ain't gonna see that post.
I'm just— I'm sorry, they're not gonna see that comment. The reality is I need some rest now. God, we're laboring, the Bible says, to rest. We want to enter into the rest of God where we're walking in his assignment. He said this is how you do it. Take heed, brethren, lest there be any of you with an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God. But I exhort one another daily while it is called today, lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. So missing the mark in humanism, you can be deceived by what you believe is— because watch this, a deceived person is worse than a liar.
I'm gonna say that again. Deceived person worse than a liar. A liar at least know they are lying.
A deceived person believes they are correct. And a lot of times in our humanism, we'll think it's right because we've been doing it. Well, I've been doing this this way all my life.
Well, you need to get rid of that root system.
So you're not doing it that way anymore. Are y'all hearing me? All right, go to the next one.
1 Corinthians, I think it is. Yes, 1:19-20. I want to read this because— here we go— too much education, I believe, can cause you to harden your heart. I'm not against education. I'm an educated person. The reality is though, if you get too much education, you'll believe you don't know God if you're not careful, and you don't need God. Are y'all hearing this? Let me give you a shocking statistic, then I'm gonna read this. 70+ percent of all college students who had faith in God before they went to college lose faith in God when they get to college. That's real empirical data.
That's, that's heavy, man, because going through the gates of education to become a better person strips them of faith. And I'm not talking about because of their behavior. They just start coming into this mindset that what I need is the education to survive in the world, when you could be educated and not have God and still have great failure.
Watch this, let's read it.
1 Corinthians 1:19-20, he said, for it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise and will bring nothing to the understanding of the prudent, the wise, and the educated. Created? Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the disputer of this world? Have God not made foolish the wisdom of this world? In other words, God is saying, listen, we— if we just look at the world's condition and the way the world is, we'll understand that God is greater than the world. How they've taken what God created and made a mockery of of it.
God's wisdom is greater. 1 Corinthians 2:14. Let's go, we're gonna get out of here.
He said, but the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit. I'm trying to help you be good ground. See, you can't receive this in your natural man. Your trichotomy, your body, soul, and spirit, your three parts, your tripartite being is body, soul, spirit. You can't receive the word in your body. Are y'all hearing this? Your natural senses and intellect won't receive. That's why there are some things in your intellectual capacity that reject certain things, because your natural man is trying to process a spiritual thing. Why? The scripture says here, for they are foolishness to him, neither can he know them because they are spiritually discerned. So some of the things, instead of trying to analyze it in your mind— see, the old root system will rob you from dominion because you're trying to analyze the message of dominion with your natural mind. How can I dominate? How can I take control? How can I be in charge of this and it's just me? Well, guess what? It ain't just you. It's you and him. So you can do it. You got to discern it in the spirit. That's why you got to spend time in the spirit.
You got to spend time with God.
You know, thank God I read this when I was studying for this.
I read this, and thank you for bringing it back to me.
I was reading while I was preparing this. There are some scientists— watch this— and thank God for these scientists who believe that they can prove through science the existence of God. Yeah, they gonna keep searching, but they don't realize it's spiritually discerned. But I honor them just for wanting to, cause some scientists be like, you know, God— all the science refutes that God is real. That's what they say. But these scientists said no, and they're back and forth with these other scientists. No, he real, and we got to prove it. They ain't gonna serve him until they prove it. But what they don't realize is They're not going to know them because it's spiritually discerned, not scientifically discerned.
Are y'all with me? I'm almost done. God is not hiding in your head. He's in heaven. Watch this. And then he sends Holy Ghost and moves in you.
In his omnipresent ability, he lives in all of us, and we, we discover him. Watch this. The kingdom of God is within you. That's why every time you worship, every time you pray, guess what you do?
You can enter into the kingdom. The worship you exhibit becomes your access through the kingdom gates of the kingdom that live in you.
That's why you got to worship beyond this place. It's not just a song.
You got to worship the King in private so you can get in his space. Are y'all here? All right, next scripture, Mario. Let's get out of here, man. Let's look at this hardness of heart piece, man, and then we're gonna go. We're gonna go. Okay, okay. You cannot be so open that you accept all the ideas the world brings, because again, the world is— again, they doing their own thing. They're operating in natural, not the spirit. You need ideas and innovations that come from God. I posted something, uh, yesterday, I think it was, and I said that AI is going to be the extinction of many— extinction of many people, when it should be your extension.
AI is not here to replace you. People been saying that, oh, AI gonna replace us. Why you speaking that foolishness? Do you realize the whole program is written by men? The code is written by men. I told you, I'll be telling my AI because it's supposed to represent me. I'm not gonna use that. No, go back. You, first of all, you can't tell me what to say because you don't pray. I don't said that too.
Yeah, he said, oh, I'm sorry, Dr. Woods, I respect your prayer life as a man of God.
Thank So do what I'm asking you to do, not what you want to do. It should be an extension of who you are. You have to teach it who you are and not try to create an identity through it, right? Okay, because, because you get all these ideas that ain't God and come from some computer that's created these ideas from data based on the question you asked.
Hallelujah.
Thank God. I see all these flyers now produced with AI. You could tell because all of them look the same.
I said, okay, I ain't doing another AI flyer.
I did a couple of YouTube thumbnails. I said, I ain't doing no more. And I told— I said, your design capabilities are limited. I said, all the flyers you produce look the same. All of the thumbnails you produce are the same. Can you do anything unique?
It just sit there thinking, who is this negro thinking? Who in the world is him?
Let me cut him off. Because at the end of that, because I'm not gonna let you control what I'm trying to do. So okay, we just go back to designing it ourselves. Because at the end of the day, we don't need this and it looks like everybody else stuff. Or they take the picture and one of the pictures we decide, we would look going through pictures for our books and one of the pictures my wife said, you can't use that one 'Cause that ain't you.
It made me look younger.
I looked a little different. Glory to God. And I kind of liked that cover. You're not— that ain't you. Cause it ain't. I mean, they took my picture and did something else with it. So at the end of the day, listen, you can't let this— you got to spiritually discern what's happening in life and not just accept what you see on a timeline, accept what chat GPT gives you.
All right, are y'all here?
You can't watch the wrong movies and the wrong podcast because some of the information that's being disseminated, you don't need it in your spirit. Some of the things that's being shown can trigger things from your past if you're not delivered. So you got to be careful, right? And it can contribute to your hard heart. Because abuse, abandonment, rejection, and all the painful experiences we had will cause us to harden our heart. Seasons of disappointments, trials, and tragedy will cause bitterness to set up in our heart, and we won't want to hear nothing God got to say, and we become bad ground.
Are y'all here?
My Jesus.
So how can we change this condition of the heart and become good ground? I'm glad you asked. Matthew 11:28, we're getting out of here, and through 30, he says this. He says, come unto me, all you that labor and are heavy laden. In other words, first of all, stop, stop laboring. Stop doing too much. Stop trying to do it yourself. Stop carrying this load yourself. This is Jesus talking.
He said, come to me. I'm not here to just watch you do it. If God told you you can get it done, you heard his voice, why are you laboring? Why are you carrying the whole load? He said, come to me and I'm gonna give you rest. In other words, I'm gonna work with you and you step back and let me do it. Here's what I want you to do while you're resting: take my, my yoke upon you. Stop laboring in the throes of labor in this assignment, trying to do this without me, but yoke up to me.
You know what a yoke is?
A yoke is a control device that controls a horse, controls an animal, and causes direction So God said, put this yoke around your neck, and wherever I go, you go. Whatever I do, you do. Like Ludacris, when I move, you move, just like that. Are y'all hearing this? God said, put the yoke around your neck.
Somebody said, Pastor, you old. Ludacris ain't even got an album in 20 years. But it's okay, that's what I know.
Glory to God. But I'm just telling you, the reality is You gotta yoke up with him and what he tells you to do. He said, take your yoke and learn of me. All this labor and all this toiling.
He said, learn of me. I am meek and lowly in heart, and you shall find rest unto your soul.
For my yoke is easy and my burden is light. So if you're doing this and it's hard Are y'all hearing this? That means you ain't yoked up with God. You yoked up in that root system that's comfortable, and you're not being good ground.
That's the first—
what am I going to do? First thing here, come to Jesus. Why? Because Jesus gives us a new heart. He'll give us a heart that's responsive to him, that's sensitive to him. Oh my God, let's read Ezekiel 11:19. Go there, Mario. Yeah, he says, and I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you, and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh and will give them a heart of flesh.
Are y'all hearing this?
So your heart should be a heart of flesh that can receive, that knows it is controlled by entity higher than the body. I don't care what science does, they can't figure out how the heart actually works as a machine to give life. They can diagnose it, they can check it, they know now when things go wrong with your heart, but they don't really know the science behind how it exists, how it was created. Listen, the reality is you can't put your trust in anything but him. He said, I want to take that stony heart that has mixture where you trust in the old system and me, and I want to give you a real heart of flesh where you can get this new spirit and you can be of one heart with me.
Touch your heart and say, Lord, give me your heart. So I want to be one with you.
I want to be sensitive to you.
So I want to be responsive to your touch, to your voice.
To your instructions. Say, I receive it now in the name of Jesus. Say, in the name of Jesus. Say, I will work and develop what you gave me. Say, I receive a new spirit to walk in your ways, to walk in your assignment, to walk in your plans, in Jesus' name. If you believe that, give God some praise right now. Glory to God. Next thing, so, so, so here we go. So we're gonna come to Jesus, we're gonna get a new heart, and then number 3, we're gonna fix the heart. We gotta read, hear, and listen to the word of God and do it. No matter how you feel, you gotta obey God. Say that with me. Say, whatever God tells me to do Say, I'm gonna do it.
I need you to mean that because the results in your life are gonna be phenomenal. And I'm— trust me, I'm coming quickly to a close here. They're gonna be phenomenal when you make up your mind that's what you're gonna do. Matter of fact, you're gonna be amazed at the results of following God and obeying God. I'm talking about for real, not— and again, this has to do with behavior and sin because the church has been you better do this. I'm talking about really just not making church and God and the Bible and worship and singing and all of that stuff an idolatrous approach to a process that makes you feel good. This stuff is meant to be lived. Are y'all hearing this? It's meant to be manifested for real. Somebody say, for real. Oh my God, are y'all ready for this? That is number 4: admit your problems.
If you want to get rid of your stony heart, admit you got issues and ask God to change you.
That's the hardest part for some people because that old root system makes you afraid to align with where you come short. If you really come short right there, you should really be able to admit that. The Bible said confession is good for the soul.
I'm gonna take you deep. You need to have somebody you trust enough— are y'all hearing this— that you can confess to someone other than God. Oh yeah, okay. The word confession itself in Greek means to exclaim your problems to someone or a group of someones so you can get help.
Are y'all hearing this?
You need to be able to talk to somebody because you can talk to God and he'll talk back. I believe it. But he also assigns people to your issue, and you ought to be able to talk to folk that you— listen, some of the stuff I went through in my past I believe I could have had just one person I thought I could trust. Some of the things I wouldn't have went through because I just needed somebody I could talk to about my struggle. Oh, y'all ain't hearing this because, because some people want to see you fall. They don't like the fact that you're doing good anyway. So instead of helping you, they convict you, they judge you, and they use your inabilities and your weakness to make them feel good about their idiosyncrasies.
Right now, you need somebody you could trust. And so I want to challenge you tonight, pray for someone you can talk to. Are y'all hearing this? Go to Proverbs 29:1. I'm out of here, man. He that being often reproved hardens his neck shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy. Listen, when you harden— in other words, when you harden your heart against correction The Bible said here, simple, you'll be destroyed. You got to receive correction when it come. Oh, it's quiet because a lot of times we don't like it. But when you're reproved and when correction come, just receive it because that's gonna remedy where you are.
See, we like prophecy that prophesies great things.
That in our eyes is great. But you know, the best prophecy you can get is a prophetic word that corrects you. And instead of you saying, oh, that ain't for me, you have to humble yourself and receive it so you're not suddenly destroyed without remedy. Ain't no coming back from destruction. When something is destroyed, it's over. And God says here, if you keep rejecting correction Destruction comes quickly. So admit your sin, admit you're wrong, admit you've been disobedient, and change it. Be sorry, go in the right direction. Are y'all with me? Number 5, this is how you change your heart and become good soul. You got to have friends Hear me, friends that are the way you want to be. In other words, you need some people that are doing what you want to do around you. You don't need to all the time have people that's on your same level as your friends.
Are y'all hearing this?
You need people that's already doing what you're trying to accomplish and that will hold you accountable to getting done what you're trying to to do. Number 6, if you want to be good ground and change that heart and not settle for less, you got to forgive everybody that you got anything against. I know you say you forgave them, but watch this— forgiveness doesn't carry a penalty. So if you forgive You cannot penalize them any longer. It's just like a wife that says, or a husband that says, I forgive my spouse, but I'm still gonna leave you. That's penalizing them. Okay, somebody say, okay, well, I'm just talking about for better or worse now, for richer or poorer, in sickness and health, to death do you part.
So when you're in that kind of situation, the only way you stay married— I've talked to people, I talked to my mother-in-law, and my mother-in-law, Felicia's mom and dad, before he passed, were married what, 60-some years? I talked to him and her, talked to him before he passed on. I said, how y'all do it? He told me, he said, I— this is his way of saying, I just put up whatever she do. That's how he said it.
And that's, you know, y'all know Eddie Roy didn't know that answer. He said, I just put up with whatever she do, and I, and I don't make a fuss about it. I asked her, she said it's a lot of forgiveness and a lot of patience.
In any relationship, even yours with God, there's going to be wronging and forgiving.
Are y'all hearing this?
So you got to be willing to let folk go because it's a gift to them. You can't penalize people when you talk about you forgive them.
I forgive them, but I ain't talking to them no more. It's not really godly.
What if God did that to you?
I forgive you, but hey, I ain't talking to you no more.
We're supposed to be like him, right? I ain't saying you got to be a fool and let somebody take advantage of you, but you still got to walk in the love of Christ.
You can still be lovable to people. And that— listen, there's some stuff that's been done to me, and my wife would tell me, she said, I don't see how you still just love them like that, how you go around them. She said, I wouldn't fool with them if I was you. And I understand why she feels that way.
And I tell her, I gotta be like Christ. I gotta— though I know how they feel about me, I know how they treated me in the past, but I've forgiven them.
So I still gotta show up and act like God would. Are y'all here? Glory to God. Are you ready? I'm almost done.
What was that, number 5?
Number 6. Y'all listen to— watch this, see, this will break your heart. You gotta listen to worship often. I keep my car on two things: worship or the word. This will keep your heart open. Open. You can't be bouncing back and forth in the church worshiping, crying, giving God glory, and then you get in the car, you got Big Daddy Kane on. Somebody say, Apostle, you really old, man. Big Daddy Kane? Come on, bro.
I just tell you what, that's what I know.
I don't know no rappers of the day, so—
but, but you, you, you, if you really want to be open to the things of God, you got to surround yourself with the things that pertain to him. That's got to be your— you know, it's okay if, like, so if you got a spouse and, you know, I'm not playing a Kirk Franklin when I'm trying to get in honeymoon spirit with my wife. I don't want to hear Kirk tell me, oh, Do you want to— no, I don't want no revolution right now.
I want something else.
Are you hearing this? So at the end of the day, so you got to set the atmosphere. Okay, I'm gonna get that. But you better believe outside of that, um, listen, and I've got some saved love songs I done found. There are some love songwriters that write and they born again, and those songs are amazing. Are y'all hearing this?
So you, you gotta just guard your gates, man.
This is what Ephraim is about.
That's what we've been teaching a long time, but that's what Ephraim is. Guard this high gate to tap into double fruitfulness. And here's the last one: listen to good teaching all the time. My children used to get in my car and be like, Dad, why you always got the word on here? Can we listen to something else? I said no. Guess they start doing— they got old enough, they get in the car and put headphones on, and I'll be like, no, take the headphones off, you need to hear the word. I just get on Junior all the time, nah, bro, take the headphones off, you need to hear what I'm playing in here. Trying to block out the word. No, take the headphones off so you can hear what's going on here, because this is what you need. Are y'all hearing this? Y'all stand. I'm done. Did y'all learn anything tonight? Yes, sir. Hallelujah. Well, give God praise. That's right, praise him for the word. Hallelujah. We thank you for the word, God. We going, we going. Thank you, Father. Just lift your hands. I hear you, Father. We bless your name, God. We bless your name. We bless your name. Come on, just begin to give him the fruit of your lips. Father, we glorify you. We honor you, Father. From the crown of her head to the sole of her feet, thank you. Do a new thing in her life, God. Touch from the crown of her head to the sole of her feet, God. Cover this baby in your blood. God, in the name of Jesus. God, we bind up everything that will try to torment our mind, God, and we decree and declare peace in our mind, peace in our body.
Heal her life, God, in the name of Jesus. We rebuke the traumas of the past, and we decree and declare she is whole, she is free, in the mighty name of Jesus. And no weapon formed against her future will be able to prosper. We give you praise and glory for it now, in Jesus' name.
Hallelujah, hallelujah.
I thank you that what's to come will be love and joy and peace, and what's coming in our life will be better than what has been. Thank you that the days ahead for her will be filled with wholeness in the mighty name of Jesus.
Hallelujah! In Jesus' name. Come here, Mario, let me lay my hands on you tonight, man. Father, we thank you and we give you glory. We bless your name, Father, from the crown of his head to the sole of his feet. We plead the blood over his life.
And we declare no weapon formed against him shall prosper.
Reba kando shoku rabaka tataya, ribi skutu randidi asatai.
We bless your name, God. We bless your name, God.
We bind up everything not like you, God.
Every thought, every desire, we bind it up in the name of Jesus. Father, you said whatever we bind on earth, you will bind in Come on, intercessors, I need you to pray.
Rebecco toto basa tataya. We bind up everything not like you in this young man, God, and we decree and declare your purity, your holiness, your righteousness shall fill his life. Every spirit that's not like you, we decree and declare you take your hands off of him, and we serve notice on you in the name of Jesus. Jesus, and we send you back to the pits of hell, and we release a spirit of obedience. We bind rebellion, we bind disobedience. God, we thank you for alignment with your will, with your way. God, I serve notice on you tonight, Satan. You cannot have his future. Lebas katataban. I declare that his His future is secure. The blood cover his future. The blood cover his life. Rebe soto, soto, soto, shata sata satakoto. This is God's man. This is God's man. His future will be filled with power. It will be filled with kingdom purpose. Roko soto. And we declare it in the name of Jesus. Come on, worship God in this place. Come here, Ross, let me just lay my hands on you. Father, I thank you.
Father, I thank you that even as I lay In about 60 seconds, I'm going to put my hands on you, Roz, and the tabanda kototo baya, and a spirit of acceleration is going to hit your spirit.
Hey, tabasa ta, and the prophetic is about to accelerate. Miracles and gifts of healings are about to accelerate out of your life, and God said a deeper understanding and a greater revelation of who he is is about to occur even tonight. You're about to see and hear what you have not seen and heard. Rabbah soto rambush katata sepe soto so uka pasaya pe suntekesi. Father, we thank you And when God was talking tonight about no more dry seasons, you were one of the people that he was specifically zeroing in on. It was corporate for everybody, but God said to remind you tonight that the dry seasons are over. Leke tatavanda tabaya. And God said, you have stepped into a new season of abundance. You stepped into a season where things will be easy, for his yoke is easy and his burden is light. God, I thank you for wide doors. I thank you for fresh revelation. I thank you for a fresh anointing that you're about out to rest on her life, for her family, for her children, for her clients. God, I thank you for wide doors in business. I declare that lack has come to an end, and everything she needs to propel forth, God, you're getting ready to supply it. I declare the supply is being released now. The gates of heaven are open. They have swung open for you, and God said tap in to new dimensions of glory. Do not receive the illegal spirit of lack or not enough, for God said no more dry seasons, more than enough. S— Yes, God!
Yes, God! We bless your name!
Come on, worshipers! Come on, worshipers!
Come in, TK! Come here, let me lay my hands on you! Father, I thank you now in the mighty name of Jesus for your woman servant.
I thank you for the prophetic mantle that's on her life. I thank you for the creator that lives in her, and I decree and declare that she is a creator, an innovator. You placed in the earth to manifest— —things that the world have never seen. And her hands shall be filled with creative inventions and witty ideas. I decree and declare that the heavens are open, and whatever her hands touch touch, I declare it shall be blessed. Whatever her hands touch, it shall prosper. And I declare she shall be a leading woman among women. Glory to God. And she shall exemplify wealth. She shall have the anointing of even the Queen of Sheba. And I declare— Rebel, that kingdoms will come to her for help. Prime ministers will come to her for help.
I declare it. I release it, God.
Devil, you're a liar. These things shall come forth, the things that our eyes have never beheld.
She shall make prophetic statements through her innovations and her creations. And we bless you, God, and we honor your name, Jesus.
You're so good, you're so kind.
Thank you, God, that we shall see it with our own eyes.
And we give you glory and honor for it now, in Jesus' name. Come on, the worshipers are worshiping.
Come on, the woman. The worshipers are worshiping. Hallelujah, Jesus!
We bless you, God. We bless you, God. We bless you, God.
Yes, yes, yes, the dry seasons are over. You ought to receive it in this room tonight.
We're going to prepare our hearts to give tonight really quickly. I heard that God— I need every person that will tonight And y'all know it's not often I do this, but there's a harvest coming, and God is stretching you into a new place. Up and above your tithe tonight, I hear this so clearly. If I heard the Lord say, make a sacrifice tonight, sow something you didn't plan on sowing.
Sow something in the realm that you represent no more dry seasons. And if you would at least get a seed that represents that, God said, I'll honor that. Make a sacrifice. Stop hovering over what you have, trying to control the outcome.
I'm not going to tell you what to do, but God—
yeah, I hear this so clearly. God says Sacrifice, which means you can't afford it.
Make a sacrifice tonight. So into where you're going, it leaves your hand but never your life.
Your seed is going to move into your future waiting for your arrival, and when you find it, it'll be a hundredfold. It'll be 10,000%. It'll leave tonight. Remember that former— buy seed. You got to get seed in the ground. How bad do you want that? Listen, our building is under contract. I told you God is gonna position you to help us pay that building off in 12 months. We don't pay that building off in a year. A million dollars in a year. That means he's about to prosper you. You need to get seed in the ground now, not wait till you get the money. You need to start sowing now. Down. Because the seed is what's going to produce the fruit.
Father, we bless you.
Thank you for every gift and every giver. Thank you for this word tonight.
Thank you for the gates of Ephraim that say to us not to accept less, because the Ephraim gate is a high gate, and we must raise our expectation to receive more, to expect more of you.
So we step through the gates of Ephraim tonight, even in our giving, and we expect more in the mighty name of Jesus. Come on, pray about your seed right now.
Pray about what you're giving. Libakanshikoto rabaya.
Come on, pray about that sacrifice. I'm telling you, God is accelerating all of us. I'm telling you, this next coming 12 months, I'm believing God that my valuation is going to be up and above $40 million personally. I'm thanking God for my net worth going to $40 million in 12 months. I don't know about you, because from $40 million I'm gonna go to $130 million in the following year. Listen, I need you to trust God because we got things to do, and I'm in it with you. I'm not just asking you to do it. I'm gonna give everything God gives me to this vision. I'm trusting him. Hallelujah! If I take care of his business, he gonna take care of mine. And I'm telling you, he gonna take care of yours if you take care of his business. Then we're under contract, family. And that's a sign of what he's about to do for you.
But you got to get in position.
You got— don't wait till the money come. No, you can't afford this sacrifice. Make it in Jesus' name.
For your name is great and greatly to be praised.
Come on, one time, we sing praises to your name.
We sing praises to your name. Come on, while you're giving, sing it. Oh Lord, oh Praises to— sing, oh Lord, oh Lord, oh Lord, for your name is great, for your name is great, and greatly to— and greatly to be praised. Hallelujah. Father, bless every gift. Bless the obedient sacrifice. Multiply back to your people a thousand times more, and we praise you for it, Lord, in the mighty name of Jesus. Thank you that we won't lack a thing, neither will you have a care, for you supply our need according to your riches and glory. And we thank you for the supply. We receive supernatural abundance and supply into our lives tonight. Thank you that our seed is not in vain. We thank you for the hundredfold return. In Jesus' name, amen. Come on, give God some praise. My God, my God.
Sister Bert, it's good to see you.
Let me pray for you tonight before you leave. Just come here real quick. We give you the glory, Jesus. Oh Lord, lift your hands up. Father, I thank you for your daughter, from the crown of her head to the sole of her feet. Thank you for what you're doing in her life. Thank you for ways made and open doors. Thank you, God. For strength. Thank you for the new day. Thank you for the emergence. That's what I see. Yeah, that's what I see. The emergence, the coming up higher. Thank you that you're expanding her capacity, you're enlarging her territory, and wherever she puts her foot, thank you that that place will prosper. Thank you for favor. God, when I lay my hands upon her, I declare that favor will be released in life in all regards, and that our hunger and thirst for the word will be quenched.
God says he's feeling that hunger, he's feeling that thirst, and God says he's giving you exactly what you need.
He said just trust him.
He said he's got you, he's got you covered. Just trust him. And nothing will go lacking. Oh, nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing. I declare over your life, no more dry seasons. And I speak to your body, and I thank you for strength and wholeness.
Satis—
In the name of Jesus, I declare it to be so. Side in the name of Jesus. And by the time you get to your house, a new peace is going to greet you. A new favor will greet you.
Hey, a new joy even will meet you.
Glory to God.
A new faith will meet you.
It's already moved into your atmosphere, and things are changing even as I'm speaking. And I give you glory for it now, Father.
Yeah, somebody ought to praise God with her. Come on, give God glory and honor.
Yes, God. Thank you, Lord.
Yes, Jesus, to be praised.
Yes, Lord. Yes, Lord.
Hallelujah, Jesus, we bless your name. Oh Lord, praises to— praises to your name. Oh Lord, oh Lord, oh Lord, for your name is great.
For your name Greatly to, to be praised.
Hallelujah! We love you, Father. Just a few announcements, we're going home. Matter of fact, you can stand. Spirit of the Lord is here. Glory to God. Don't forget our leadership training on tomorrow night at 8 o'clock via Zoom. Uh, look for the link on your phones. Glory to God, we will be right there in front of the camera tomorrow night at 8. Make sure you're in place. Glory to God. On Tuesday, we fast from midnight to 3 PM. Make sure you're fasting with us. We meet for prayer on Tuesday morning at 5 AM. Uh, please join us for prayer. Glory to God. And then on this Friday night, there'll be no Thursday night service this week, only Friday night, Good Friday. Uh, we got guests coming, so please let's come into this place and let's give God what belongs to him. Let's get people out on Friday night. There are flyers for this weekend service back there. Let's pack this place out this weekend. Uh, Friday night Good Friday service starts at 7 PM. On Saturday morning, we're celebrating the birthday of our First Lady. Y'all give God praise for our First Lady, and we're excited to do that. If you have not reserved your spot for breakfast, please make sure you do that. Uh, we're celebrating her at the Marriott Marquis downtown. Down at the restaurant Sear inside of the hotel. If you want to come, pay your $45 via the ChurchCash app, put in the subject First Lady's Birthday. We'll know that's your money for the birthday celebration. Uh, that's the cost of the breakfast. Glory to God. Uh, then after you do that, let Pastor Jeffrey know you have done that so we have a list of everybody that has done it. We gonna check anyway, but we want to make sure we have that list as as well. So make sure you let him know, uh, that you've paid for your breakfast. And we need to give account also to the hotel, uh, probably by tomorrow. So please, if you have not paid and you plan on coming, uh, get your payment in. Uh, on Sunday morning— somebody say Sunday morning— it is the First Lady's actual birthday, and we're going to be celebrating her and the resurrection with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We have a guest speaker. Again, there are flyers in the lobby. Um, please cut the lights on when we leave so they can see in the lobby. Uh, there are flyers in the lobby, and, um, take some with you, pass them out. Be very deliberate and invite individuals to this church. I mean, a lot of time— I said it before— People will come to church on Easter before they come on any other day. So this is a good conversation piece. Tell them, I need you to go to church with me. Uh, our speaker is Apostle Nerissa O'Neal. She's got a word from the Lord, I already know it. So let's come and receive what the Lord has for us. Amen. Amen. All right, all hearts and minds clear. Amanda say yes, I'm ready to go. Okay, we're going home. Father, we give you praise. Thank you for this night. Thank you for this day. Thank you for what we've heard all day. May we put this word in action. May we do what you've asked of us. May we enter the gates of Ephraim, the high gate, and never come down. May we never settle for less. And as we leave this place, may your spirit go before us, make our way smooth, successful, and prosperous.
And even we pray for Friday night in advance.
We thank you for miracles, signs, and wonders as we bring people in that are sick with cancer and AIDS and diabetes and high blood pressure and blind and deaf. God, we thank you for the miracles that your blood will bring even on Friday night, and we give you praise and glory for it now in the mighty name of Jesus, we praise you, Lord. Amen and amen. Hug somebody, tell them you love them.
