THE POWER OF FAVOR, PART 2 | DR. MIKE WOODS, SR. | 17 JULY 2025

In this live Thursday‑Night Thirst sermon, Dr. Mike Woods Sr. expands his teaching on the biblical concept of favor, defining it as a divine endorsement or supernatural currency that grants “sweat‑less victory.” He grounds the message in Scripture—Luke 2:52, Genesis 37 (the story of Joseph), Proverbs 19:21, and examples such as Esther—showing that favor is both a gift and a responsibility. Woods outlines five core principles: (1) favor costs something (it may require leaving comfort zones, changing “topography,” and enduring envy or betrayal); (2) favor creates envy and resistance, so believers must expect opposition; (3) favor can be grown through wisdom, humility, faithfulness, and intimate obedience to God; (4) favor aligns a believer’s personal story with God’s pre‑written purpose, including the idea of a “pre‑Adamic memory” that deposits destiny before birth; and (5) favor must be pursued deliberately, celebrated, and shared. Throughout the sermon he interweaves fervent prayer, healing declarations, and repeated calls to share the livestream, give financially, and attend the upcoming Sunday service and his birthday celebration. The tone is highly enthusiastic, persuasive, and exhortative, aiming to motivate listeners to seek, retain, and broadcast God’s favor in their lives.

Well, praise the Lord this evening. This is the day the Lord has made and we shall rejoice. Glory to God and be glad in it. I pray everybody is well this evening. Uh, welcome to our Thursday Night Thirst. We are virtual only, not in the sanctuary tonight, but nevertheless, glory to God, we are going to share what thus saith the Lord Listen, if you're just joining us, please share this. Uh, this experience is going to be a blessing tonight. Uh, there is something that the Lord has to say, and, uh, we trust— glory to the name of God— that you will find it so blessed to receive it yourself that you'll give it away. Remember, a blessing is not a blessing until you give it away. The Bible says we're blessed to be a blessing. So I want to challenge you tonight, uh, to be a blessing and give this away. Glory to the name of God. It says it right on the screen. Ha, it's a question: have you shared it yet? If the answer is no, you need to go ahead and share this right now. Tonight, uh, we're going into part 2, glory to God, of the power of favor. I'm super excited, man, to, uh, to share this. I believe God is going to meet us here. I believe we're going to see a great manifestation of his power, his glory, his anointing through the word. I believe we're not going to be the same. Glory to God. So please, uh, bless somebody else with this tonight, and I promise you Uh, they'll be glad you did, and I certainly will be glad you did, and the Lord definitely will be pleased that you made the choice. Glory to God, uh, to share this experience. Glory to God, somebody needs it. Praise God. I'm gonna say it again, somebody needs it. So let's make sure, uh, they get it in their life, uh, tonight. Praise the name of God. So please, guys, go ahead, share this experience, and we're going to pray and we're going to believe God that as we minister the word tonight, that heaven would superimpose itself upon us, and that really we're teaching about favor, that the favor of the Lord will be released in every life and upon every heart and every ear, uh, that would receive tonight. Glory to God. I don't want to just teach a blanket word. I want you to actually walk this word out. I want you to experience it. You know, God is so good. He's been showing me his hand all week long, and I'm just so grateful to how much he loves me. Glory to the name of God! And I'm sure you are as well. So let's pray and let's give God praise and glory tonight for his favor, for his blessing, because the blessing of the Lord, it is that which makes rich and adds no sorrow. And really, the blessing or the favor of the Lord makes rich and adds no sorrow. Let's, let's pray. Father, we give praise, we give you glory, we give you honor, we bless you for this day you made. God, our heart is beating because of you, our lungs are pumping out air, and, and we're breathing because of you, God. And so we thank you, we thank you that we're healthy, we have strength. And Father, I even pray for my daughter Zion right now in the name of Jesus, who is not feeling well in her body. I decree and declare healing in her body, and every other person that's got sickness or illness or infirmity of some kind, I decree and declare, God, that your word says you sent the word and it healed them. So Father, as we teach tonight, hallelujah, I feel the anointing, glory to God. As we teach your word tonight, I decree and declare that the word of the living God, hallelujah, as we receive it, as we hear it, it will heal us. You said it, God. You sent the word and it healed them. So Father, I thank you for the faith to believe and receive that even as our ears behold the word of God, that our bodies are being healed, finances are being healed. And Father, we thank you, relationships are being healed, families are being mended, reconciliation and restoration is happening in the mighty name of Jesus. Whoo! God, I give you the glory tonight. I give you the honor and I give you the praise. You're so good. You're so kind. In Jesus' name. Would you take a moment just to bless God for his goodness? Hallelujah. Bless God for his healing power. Listen, I believe tonight that even as we teach, as I was praying, healing is gonna be released in your physical body. I believe it's gonna be released in your finances, in relationships that maybe perhaps you need healed. Listen, I need you to receive it. Why don't you give God glory, give God praise even now? Glory to the name of God for what he's about to do. Praise God. Hallelujah. As the word goes forth— ah, yes, Lord, tonight, glory to God— I decree and declare you shall be whole, you shall be healed. Hallelujah. He sent his word and it healed them. Past tense. Glory to God. So I'm believing God that as you leave this live stream tonight, hallelujah, your body will be healed, your finances will be healed. Hallelujah. Even if you got mental issues, you got emotional sickness, wherever the sickness is— sickness in your finances, sickness in some relationship— I keep seeing that. God said, my word Hallelujah! It's gonna stitch it back up, give you surgery, and bring healing to you in the name of Jesus. Glory to God! Hallelujah! Somebody ought to bless the Lord tonight. We give you praise. Hallelujah! We lift you up. We receive the victory. In the name of Jesus, I feel victory, Bruce. Glory to God, I feel victory. Hallelujah, Sharif. I feel victory. Glory to God. Hallelujah, Stephanie. Glory to God. I just need you to praise him for victory right now. Ha, shabbat to Rabbi. I feel victory, Brother Smith, in Jesus' name. Glory to God. Just a few moments, I want you to bless him tonight. Ah, right where you are. If you're not ashamed, right in your living room, right in your car, take a moment to give God glory. Come on, give him the fruit of your lips tonight. Father, we thank you. Father, we bless you. Dear Jesus, we honor your name, and we declare tonight that there's none like you nowhere. God, you rule and you super rule. Heaven is your throne. Glory to God. And the earth is your footstool. We give you the glory. Ha! Shibu kurangese tete mosutu rabaya. We praise your name, God. Hallelujah! We worship and adore you. Hallelujah! You are the God that healeth us, and we receive it. Hey! Shaye monture kisatai shimuntu tebebebe sutu rebekeya branse boboto rabakai. I declare no more. I release the power of Jehovah Rapha into your home, into your body, into your marriage, into your relationships with your children. I declare healing in the name— In the name of Jesus. Oh, rababai, nitiku sutu retete, ruchete de monsu rabai, branche bebe tu satay, we give you min setaya, brisu tu rakanta tabaya, in the mighty name of Jesus. And so, Father, we thank you again for the light, the illumination, and the intelligence of the Holy Ghost tonight, and we declare we'll never be the same. In Jesus' name, amen. Glory to God. Glory to the name of God. Somebody type in the comments really quick, just type favor, favor. Hallelujah, type favor. My God, tonight just type favor. Glory to God, favor. I'm telling you, it's on your life. Glory to God, it's on your life. Glory to God, just type it as a prophetic utterance, put it in the atmosphere. Hallelujah, favor, favor. Go, she baban. Yes, God, favor, favor. Come on, come on, type it. Glory to God. Put it there, put it there, put it in the atmosphere. Glory to God, put it in the atmosphere. Praise God. Favor, favor. The favor of the Lord is with you. The favor of the Lord, glory to God, is upon you. Yeah, yeah. I release the favor of God. I feel Jesus. This, this, this live stream is going to be life-changing tonight. Glory to God. Let's— I'm gonna play really quick the video, uh, that introduces this series, and then we're gonna come right back. I love y'all. There are moments in life when effort isn't enough. There'll be times when your connections will fall short. And no matter how hard you knock, there'll be doors that will remain closed. What you need in these moments, it's not more hustle, it's not luck, it's not more friends. What you need in these moments is favor from God. Favor is the unfair advantage, the supernatural endorsement, the divine yes in a world full of nos. Every success story has a memory of favor, and in this season, God is about to tip the scales in your direction. You are one moment of favor away. From everything, and I mean everything, changing. Hallelujah, hallelujah! Receive that seriously. You are one moment of favor away from everything changing. I don't care what it looks like right now, you are one moment of favor away from from every single thing in your life changing. Oh, you ought to bless the Lord for that. Hallelujah. So let's go to Luke 2:52. Again, we're talking about the power of favor. This is part 2 of this series, and I want to read the foundation scripture for the entire series because, glory to God, it's just all right to read the Bible. And we're going to jump right into this. Luke 2:52, the Bible says, and Jesus increased in wisdom, in stature, and in favor— watch this— with God and with man. I'm gonna read it again because once again it's just a wonderful thing to read the word. Glory to God. And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature and in favor— listen— with with God and with man. So we learned a few things on Sunday when we started this series. All right, the first thing, uh, I share— I gave us a working definition of what favor is. We learned that favor is divine endorsement. Type that in the comments: divine endorsement. Favor is divine endorsement. That. Glory to God. Not gonna get into it. Go back and watch the message from Sunday, it's still up. Glory to God. Divine endorsement. We also discovered that favor is the supernatural current that pushes us into places that effort alone cannot. And if you find yourself exhausted from trying to pursue your own physical efforts in bringing something to pass, it is a sign— and we learned this Sunday— that you are operating— hear me— outside of the favor of God. Glory to God. You're operating outside of the favor of God when your efforts— glory to the name of God— exhausts and we all have been there. Glory to God. We learned that favor consistently is flowing. The key is, is staying aligned. We discovered that favor not only is divine in origin— and I'm just reviewing Sunday, you can go back and watch it— we also discovered that favor can be grown and increased. So when you get saved, favor is available. You have to grow your favor. We learned that you grow it through wisdom, sitting at the feet of wisdom. You grow it through humility. You grow it through faithfulness and intimacy with God. I'm gonna say that again. You grow it through wisdom, humility, faithfulness, and intimacy with God. Thirdly, we learned that favor should be pursued Request it and celebrate it. Make sure you go back and watch the message from Sunday. Glory to the name of God. Favor— I'm gonna say it again, hallelujah— has to be pursued. You gotta deliberately— you gotta desire it. We talked about how, glory to the name of God, you cannot manipulate favor, with how favor is not going to force itself on you. You got to want it. And the sign that you want it, you make yourself irresistible to it. We learned that Sunday. You got to become irresistible to favor. Matter of fact, I made a statement that favor was looking for us. Yeah, glory to the name of God. And the resources that come with favor are looking for us. And I begin to tell people, y'all might have thought I was crazy, to shout out your phone number, shout out your address. Glory to the name of God. Shout out your name, because prophetically, favor is trying to locate us in the spirit. But we gotta align— watch this— cease from trying to do it ourselves. And when you don't operate in wisdom and you try to operate in your own energy, you wear yourself down. You'll take yourself to an early grave trying to accomplish a kingdom assignment in your flesh. Oh my God, let me go, let me go. Okay, I said I wasn't gonna teach that. We also learned that favor— I'm just reviewing Sunday— favor opens doors that no man could shut. Go back, watch Sunday. Glory to God. We also learned that favor accelerates destiny and that favor brings provision and resource. Glory to God. So tonight, praise God, I want to dive in here And I want to give you some principles of favor. I want you to go to Genesis, the 37th chapter. Let's start there. And I want to give you some strong principles that I believe are going to help you, glory to God, uh, walk favor out and become a person that operates consistently under the auspices of the favor of God. So I want you to go to, uh, Genesis 37, and we're going to start, praise God, uh, at verse number 1, and we're going to just kind of walk through a few principles here looking at Joseph, uh, because the first point in this— hear me— is that favor will cost you. Write that in the comments: favor will cost you. There's a price for favor. It doesn't just happen because we like to see it. Glory to God. And I said Sunday, somebody said a long time ago that favor ain't fair. I choose respectfully disagree with that statement. Favor is fair. It's available for anyone that will align themselves and pay the price to receive it. So watch this, you can be saved, full of the Holy Ghost, and not operating your life under the favor of God. Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy. You could be a tongue-talking shouting and bucking, worshiping and crying, falling in the flow, and literally not be operating under the auspices of favor because you have not aligned yourself in obedience and you're not willing to pay the cost. Glory to God. Let's look at Genesis 37. I'm gonna start at verse 1. The Bible says, and Jacob dwelt in the land wherein his father was a stranger. In the land of Canaan. Glory to God. Now I want to— I want you to see something. Sometimes favor will cost you. This is one of the costs of favor, is taking planning in places that are strange, planning in environments that are out of your comfort zone. Sometimes favor will require you, hallelujah, to change your topography. Glory to God. To change your geography— topography is how you are viewed from the aerial perspective. Uh, I am a licensed drone pilot. I can fly a drone just like an airplane pilot can fly a plane, just only I'm flying a drone in my hand with a remote. But listen, what is— when I'm looking at aerial views with my drone, that's called topography. And, and the way topography is measured is measured in perspective— watch this— to what's on the ground and the altitude you have reached. In other words, the higher you go— watch this— the closer objects on the ground appear to each other. And topography in the spirit— watch this— Glory to God! The higher you go in obedience and discipline, in humility and faithfulness, the closer you become to your destiny and the plan of God, and the more favor increases. And sometimes, again, it's going to cause you to go to altitudes, to go to places that are strange to your flesh, that are strange to your intellectual capacity. That are strange to what you feel is coming. Oh my God, that are strange to your religious appetite. Glory to God. So you gotta make up in your mind that you're gonna climb with God and you're gonna get— you're gonna put yourself in a humble position. Watch this, this is how we climb. You gotta humble yourself first so God can exalt you. You. So God lifts you up out of humility and only, only does that so you can begin to see from a different perspective. The reason a lot of the things that you know are destined for you, or prophecies that are hanging over your life that you know are supposed to come to pass for you, the reason why they seem so far away, because you're still perceiving them at ground— oh my God, oh my God, you're still perceiving them at ground level. You're still looking at them through the eyes of the flesh. You're still looking at your future and your kingdom destiny through carnal eyesight, through old systems. Through old perspectives. And when you cannot weigh a spiritual matter, oh my God, with old perspectives— oh wee, boy, I wish I had some help tonight. Glory to God. Yes, Shemaiah. So you gotta rise up to— and you know, one of the things about my drone, glory to God, it, it— because of limitations with, with the FAA it can only go to certain altitudes and certain spaces. Here it is, glory to God. And you have to be very cognizant of boundaries when you're climbing. Well, in the realm of the spirit, let me tell you something, there are no limits. There are nothing above your head. You could go as high as you want to in the spirit. And once again, remember, the topography suggests And it may be strange to you as you climb to new dimensions because now you got to trust and believe in a way that you haven't before. Oh, Shabbat, you gotta understand that God is trying to expand how you think. He's trying to expand— glory to the name of God— how you view life. I gotta get out of here, man. Let me go, let me go, let me go. So sometimes you got to go into strange altitudes, strange lands, strange topographies and geographies. Sometimes you— the favor that needs to be released will require you to move. It'll require you to change position. I talked about this a little Sunday. In order to change your condition, you got to change your position. Don't complain about what you permit. If you're allowing something, you don't get to complain about— just shut up about that. Glory to God. Because you have the power to really control the narrative. Oh my God, you have the power, glory to God, to shift things in the direction that they need to go for your life. But you got to choose to climb, okay? You got to choose to get out of that familiar territory, hallelujah, and dwell in the land, hallelujah, where it seems strange. And you— and God will appoint you to those places. All right, verse 2, the Bible said, these are the generations of Jacob. Joseph, being 17 years old, was feeding the flock with his brother. And the lad was the sons of Bilhah with the sons of Zilpah, his father's wives. And Joseph brought unto his father their evil report. Joseph brought to Daddy the evil report. Glory to God. Of the other children. I'm gonna keep reading. Now Israel loved Joseph— here we go— more than all his children. The word loved here is ahav. Which means that Israel, or Jacob, he favored Joseph more than all of his children. I— now I'm not gonna get into you parents that's got a favorite. Glory to God, we're gonna get into it. Glory to the name of God. But here we see, glory to God, Jacob had a favorite and it was Joseph. Glory to God. The Bible says he loved him because he was the son of his old age. And he made him a coat of many colors. Don't have time to teach this. I'm trying to get to verse 4. Let's go. He says, and when his brethren saw that their father favored him more than all his brethren, they hated him and could not speak peaceably unto him. So here's another price when favor is on your life. Here we go. Oh boy. You're gonna have to pay the price of not everyone liking you. Oh, I settled in with this a long time ago. My God, tonight I settled in with this a long time ago. This, this Sunday I celebrate 36 years— we're really— this week was the actual date, but Sunday we're going to commemorate 36 years of full-time ministry actually been in ministry for 40 years, but 36 years of full-time itinerant ministry. Glory to God. And I learned that because of the favor of God, everybody wasn't gonna like me. I knew, glory to God, because of the gift that God had blessed me with, everybody wasn't going to like me. I was going to have haters. I was going to have people that would try to destroy me. Favor cost. Oh boy, sometimes even from your own people. Watch this, the Bible said his brothers hated him and could not speak peaceably. They could not come in a spirit of shalom and prosperity and assistance to Joseph. They couldn't do it. They were angry at him. They hated him because Daddy wanted him more. More. He loved him more. Joseph paid the price of betrayal and false accusation. That's— and guess what? They put Joseph in a prison pit, then a prison. Glory to God. Put him in a pit, throw him over in the pit, and left him to die. Then got him put in jail. Glory to God. Listen, I need you to understand, favor is not easy. It's going to But you got to decide that favor is more important to me than people— oh, here we go, here we go— liking me. You gotta decide that favor is more important to you than people liking your picture, liking your videos, like, liking your post. Glory to the name of God. You got to decide you're going to live for the audience of one and whatever he desires. Glory to God, you're going to do it. You're going to obey. And you're going to lose traction with some people because let me tell you something, especially in this day and time, obedience to God— hear me— it's not a popular thing. It ain't popular even among people in the church. People want to do what they want to do. And, and I understand, you know, I'm the, I'm the kid on the block that a lot of folk don't like because I'm gonna tell the truth. I'm not going to compromise with you. I'm going to tell you, glory to God, that you're going to hell for living in sin. And because that applies to me too, if I live in sin, I'm going to hell. There is a hell. If I live in sin, I'm going. If you do it, you are going to hell. And, and I'm gonna say that, but I understand there's a price for the obedience that I have to follow to be able to sit in the seat I sit in and stand in the position I stand in to obey God, to declare his truth. Ah, listen, and it ain't easy sometimes because I see people all the time compromising for crowds, compromising— glory to the name of God— for that which is common to people, for that which is common to man. Glory to God. But we— again, favor is about producing uncommon things. Even Esther, man. Esther, she risked her life to get in the king's court so she can find favor with the king. She could have been killed for going up in the king's court, but she risked her life so that she can find favor with the king. It's gonna cost you something. Listen, favor— and we see this, hallelujah, from Joseph, we see it from Esther, and even others in the Bible— we see that favor requires you to be bold. It requires you, glory to God, oh, to be humble. It requires faith. So faith will cost you. But the other thing we see from Genesis 37:4, and this is the second point, is that favor creates envy. Joseph's brothers were jealous and they hated him. When you walk in favor, I need you to get this tonight, You need to expect resistance. Oh my God. Eba si la boko sha daya. Le tamandi su rakesa. You're gonna be resisted. And listen, I'm telling you, these are family folk that resisted him. Listen, at the end of the day, sometimes family, they love you, but they don't know how to process the favor that's on your life. It take them a little time to figure out Well, they just got the favor of God. I might as well walk with it. I might as well roll with it. I might as well accept it. I might as well open my ears and my eyes so I can learn how to get that same favor they got. You, you, ah, but you got to stay humble. You got to keep walking by faith and not by sight. Glory to God. People of favor don't live by what they see. They live by what they cannot see. The Greek word for faith is pistos, and it means literally to leave what you can see for what you cannot see. Watch this, to become totally reliant, completely dependent upon that which you can't see. So when you walk in my faith, your total reliance and dependence and confidence shift to what you can't see. it's gonna cost you your doubt. If you ever want to really move, oh my God, and see favor fully unloaded and released, God— again, remember, favor is divine endorsement, is supernatural currency that comes from heaven and superimposes itself on your life so that you can have sweatless victory. Sweatless victory with no sweat. Are y'all with me tonight? Glory to God. That's what God wants to give you. That's what he wants you to have. He wants you to have victory with no sweat. Lord have mercy. Whoa! Shaya mokura tisa tabo rabande sudra kande. Put your hand on yourself and say, I receive victory with no sweat. Say, in the name of Jesus. Say, I walk by faith and not by sight. Say, it's in him I live, it's in him I move, it's in him I have my being. Say, the favor of God endorses me in Jesus' name. If you believe it, I want you to give God some praise right there. Come on, open your mouth right where you are and give God some glory. Shout about favor on your life. So you got to get happy about it. Glory to God. It's gonna cost you something. Hallelujah. It's gonna cost you your doubt. You cannot walk in doubt and favor at the same time. Oh God, you cannot do it because you got to walk by faith, and faith and doubt are inept to each other. They cannot even stand in the same space. I gotta go, y'all. I gotta get out of here. Woo! Shabbat yotov, rabbi. Somebody ought to do like Pastor Jasper and just give him praise in the comments. Glory to God. Somebody ought to exalt him. Throw up some of those little hands emojis in the comments and let God be glorified tonight for the favor and the faith of God that's getting ready to flow out of you. Come on, open Open up your mouth, part your lips, and give God glory. Hallelujah. Father, we honor you. Father, we bless you for favor. Glory to God. It is fair. It is fair. Glory to God. Favor is fair. It is your portion. It is a benefit of being a kingdom citizen. Glory to God. Let me move. So favor will create envy. Glory to God. So watch this, even though you get resistance, even though people resist you because of the favor, and the enemy literally will send them to break your focus because you know what he wants you to do? He wants you to entertain. He wants you to entertain what they're doing toward you so that you get out of alignment. He wants you to react to how they're treating you so you get out of alignment. So God has some great things prepared, but you got to get aligned and stay aligned. All right, so we, we've already saw tonight— I'm almost done, man— favor will cost you. These are some principles of favor. Favor creates envy. And here's another one: every success story— you heard this in the opening bumper for this series, that every success story has a memory of favor. You will find behind every major success— watch this— in the kingdom, that there was a divine encounter. Honor. Glory to God. An open door or a helping hand that could not be explained naturally. Now you got people in the world that were born already favored because their parents were multi-generationally wealthy, okay? But there are those of us who came into this world with nothing. We— our parents did the best they could. They took care of us, they fed us, put a roof over our head, but there was really no generational wealth that was immediately passed down to us. So things were a little harder, all right? Now, your life, if you're gonna have good success in the kingdom You gotta write stories that create your history. If you break down the word history, it's his story. So you got to make history according to his story. His story has already been written for your life. I'm gonna say that one more time. His story has already been written for your life. Matter of fact, your name when you got saved was written in the Lamb's Book of Life. There's a story that's already connected to your name. There's a desired optimal reality for your future. I'm gonna say that again. God has an optimal reality for your future. There's a future he would like to see you at here. There's a future that he has planned in his perfect will. That he'd like to see you obtain. That future involves exuberant joy. Glory to God. It involves total happiness. It involves complete prosperity, wealth, and riches. It involves a life without pain, a life without sickness and disease. It involves a life without burden. God wants you to fulfill your purpose Guess how you get there? You get there by operating in favor and aligning your story with his story. Not you're going out here creating your own story. Oh boy, you have a story that's connected to God's purpose, God's plan. Let's go to Proverbs real quick. Proverbs 19. Really quick, I'm not going to tarry on this, but I got to hit it because the Holy Spirit put it in my heart. Hallelujah. Proverbs 19, glory to God, and 21. The Bible says here there are many devices. Proverbs 19:21. The word devices is, oh my God, makash alba, makash alba in Hebrew. This word literally means plans. Desires. Uh, there are many dreams in every man's heart. Every human being, glory to God, has many dreams in their heart. You have a lot of things you want to do, a lot of plans, a lot of ways you could do. And many a times, most humans They randomly pick a plan that fits what they like, or what placates them, what stimulates them. Or even if they see a need, they feel like the plan of God is for them— hallelujah— to solve that issue. Let me submit something very important to you: seeing a need is not necessarily a call to ministry. Seeing a need and desiring to fulfill it is not necessarily God's purpose for your life. Purpose is revealed by God. Watch this. He says, although you have many plans, nevertheless— here we go— the counsel, the etser, of the Lord stands forever, or the counsel of the Lord shall stand, shall stand. Hebrew means throughout eternity. It never fades, it never dies. So the only thing that lasts, the optimal reality, the optimal plan, the optimal reason why your heart is beating, is because there's a purpose, there's a story that's already written. Not you creating your own devices, your own plans, doing what you want to do. You must align in obedience to God's plan, God's desire for your life. Ma, God have mercy. Help us, help us tonight, God. Listen, we gotta get back to Hallelujah! Seeking the face of God. I was getting dressed this morning, God spoke to me. He said, son, he said, like never before, he said, the church must build altars. And I said, God, what do you mean? Because I understand that lingo. But then he said to me, he said, no, I want you to understand altar is a place of sacrifice. He said, not just a place of prayer An altar is a place of sacrifice. Oh my God. And the Holy Ghost said, Michael, I want you to tell my people that— He said, tell my people, Michael, that they must sacrifice their plans. They must sacrifice what they want to do. And surrender all on the altar of sacrifice so that my plan, my story, my purpose can manifest. Oh my, surakisa ta heba surakiso torabaka in their life. Oh God, help us. Help us, God, help us. Oh my God, because guess what? People, again, they'll randomly choose the thing that they want to do, the thing that feels good. Glory to God. The thing— glory, love you, Apostle Kirby, good to see you, man of God. Glory to God. Tabassurakisa tabaya briso toramande. Oh God, we give you glory. Somebody ought to worship him, and you ought to make up your mind tonight that you're going to sacrifice, that you're gonna put your all on the altar, give up your plans for his plans. Again, his plans release favor. His plans open up new realms of glory, new realms of authority, new realms of through. Glory to God. Let's obey God. It's simple. Let's obey him. Oh my God, I got to get out of here, man. I got to go. I got a few more moments. I gotta go. Listen, every success story has a divine encounter, a purpose, an open door, or a helping hand that you can't explain. Every success story has a memory of favor. Your mind has two functions: memory and imagination. Your memory replays the past, your imagination preplays the future. The reality is God wants to deposit you in a place where you're consistently— hallelujah— preplaying what's to based on your alignment with his purpose and his plan, that your only history you play is the history that he's already made in heaven. The other stuff in your past needs to be forgotten. The Bible said forgetting those things which are behind. Oh boy. So only mem thing your memory should be functioning because— can I submit to you that there is a pre-Adamic memory? Oh God, I gotta get out of here. I feel like running. Glory to God. There's a pre-Adamic memory, which means before Adam. There's a memory of time with God that you had with him. Glory to God. Before you even got to this planet. It's pre-adamic, it's before you got to your mother's belly, it's before you had a heart, a liver, and lungs, and legs, and eyes, and arms. Glory to God. Before you became human flesh, God was depositing memories. Hallelujah. He was putting the story in you. Woo-wee. He was making prophetic deposits in your life. Glory to God. So then when you come to earth, you could become a prophetic being that replays the memory memories of your pre-Adamic past. Oh, not the memories, glory to God, that you create in physical history or chronological history, but you made some history with God. Y'all don't believe it? Jeremiah 1:5, glory to God. You can go there if you want to. The Bible says, before I formed you in the belly So watch this, before I formed you in the belly, formed, yetseb in Hebrew, glory to God, which means before I built you and gave you human faculties, living chromosomes, before I gave you a heart, before I gave you a liver, before I gave you a brain, he said, I knew you. The word knew is yada. Shebe kura tababasi. Ushabamandia. And we gotta get in our mind that we want to go to the Yada place. Ha! We too busy trying to find a prophet that'll tell us the future. Glory to God. But if you get in an intimate place with God, he will take you to the Yada place where he knew you in a pre-Adamic state. He knew you. The word Yada means that he circumspectly intertwined himself and his desires into your life, which means you literally— hear me, family— spent time with God. Oh my God, before you got in your belly, and all of his purpose, all of his plans— glory to God— his whole story for you. Hallelujah. Your whole life was deposited in you, and when you came to this planet, you came to Earth as a delivery system. Oh my God, in the earth. What? God have mercy, you're here to deliver something. Oh my God, I am trying, y'all, to hold my peace. You are here to deliver something that he already deposited. He laced you with favor. Glory to God. He laced you with purpose. He laced you with vision and destiny. Glory to God. A kingdom plan. Oh my God, watch this, watch this. Oh my God. He sowed a spermatic prophetic destiny in you. Atayamansu. Ah God, spermatic means he planted a seed in your spirit. Glory to God. So when he sent your spirit into the earth, traveling inside of your daddy's sperm. Glory to God, there was a spirit of— oh, of destiny and purpose already in you, and that's why you're here. Your heart is beating. Oh, so you can replay that history and pre-play that future. Glory to God, that's coming, that God wants to manifest in your life. I got to get out of here, y'all. Oh my God, I've been teaching too long already. Listen, this is why sometimes you have what has been labeled— watch this— as déjà vu. You'll be sitting somewhere and say I've been here before. I've seen this before. I saw this happen. It happened to me all the time. You know what that's— don't know what's happening is at that point your spiritual senses are heightened and you recognize that you are catching up to what God already made in history. You're seeing clearly what God was already doing. That's why you remember it before. You never saw it while you was on Earth. I got— I gotta go, I gotta go, I gotta go. You never saw it while you was on Earth, but you sitting there saying, oh, I've been here before. Oh my God, oh my God, oh my God, I've seen that. I, I heard you say that. It happens to me almost every day. And then watch this, here we go, here we go. That drone again. The higher you go, the closer objects on the ground appear to each other. The higher you go in the spirit, the closer you get to the original authentic intent that God has for your life. Oh, there's already memories of favor that have been deposited in your spirit. Let's pray. Father, I give you praise. I gotta stop. Oh, shabba, lekesa tabamandu shukura. Thank you for favor, God. Thank you for the cause of favor, God. I give you praise. Thank you that even favor creates envy. And I thank you tonight that behind every great success is a memory of favor. You've already weaved a tapestry of favor and victory and success for our life. So Father, I pray tonight for every person under the sound of my voice that you will cause them to tap into their pre-Adamic memory that you have for them. That thing you deposited in their spirit when they came to this planet. And so, Father, I give you praise, and I thank you that what's to come is so much better than what has been. We give you praise, we give you glory, and we honor your great name. In Jesus' name, amen. And hey, man, man, Lord bless your hearts tonight. Thank y'all so much, man. I'm so sorry for getting so excited, but listen, I'm telling you, Holy Ghost is all over me right now. I just wanted to run out of this studio. The reality is the favor of the Lord is upon you. God is with you, and God loves you, man. Embrace it, receive it, walk in it, get yourself aligned. There's so much more than what you've experienced. God has so much more in store for you. Glory to God. Listen, I want to invite you to be a blessing to ministry tonight. Glory to the name of God. Don't leave, don't rush off. I want to invite you to get seed in the ground. Glory to God. I want to invite you to sow. Not going to tell you what to do, but if you want to be a blessing to this ministry, glory to God, God. The ways to give are going to scroll at the bottom of the screen in a moment, and I want you to get your seed in the ground. Praise God. I want you to bless— there are 5 ways you can give to our church. It's scrolling on the bottom of the screen now. Please be a blessing to ministry. We get to do the things that we do because of your giving. We even maintain the building we have. We have the highest level of technology when it comes to our cameras and our live streams We get to continue to upgrade and do these things at a high level of excellence because you give. And so many people are blessed by this ministry. I get so many emails and inboxes on people telling me how when they tap in online from all over the world— glory to God— how they're blessed by the teachings and how their lives are being changed. So when you sow, you give us the ability to continue to do this. Get your seed in the ground, whatever that amount is, but give something to God tonight. If this ministry blesses you, keep blessing it. Glory to God. So that we can continue to do what God has called us to do. Listen, I want to take a moment, guys, to invite you guys to join us on Sunday. I'll be celebrating. I actually just got excited about my birthday yesterday. Uh, praise God. I just been so busy and I just really thought, and my birthday is coming up. My birthday is actually July 22nd, but we are celebrating. My wife has been working on the COVID doing stuff.
