THE POWER OF FAVOR, PART 4 | APOSTLE MIKE WOODS SR

The livestream begins with a worship interlude that repeatedly welcomes Jesus as King into the sanctuary, followed by an extensive prayer of gratitude, protection, healing, and blessings for the congregation, their families, and the nation. Apostle Michael Lyris Woods (Mike Woods Sr.) then leads the main teaching, continuing his series on "The Power of Favor." He defines favor as uncommon success and divine endorsement, explains its cost and ingredients (blessing, mercy, illumination), and emphasizes that favor operates only when paired with genuine, daily faith. Using biblical examples (Joseph, Daniel, Mary, Hebrews 10:38‑39, Hebrews 11, Luke 22:31‑32), he illustrates how faith activates favor and how the devil seeks to sow doubt and break believers. He urges listeners to live by aggressive, daily faith, to trust God’s power rather than His works, and to cultivate servant‑heart apostolic identity. He further connects favor to knowledge of God (2 Peter 1), grace, peace, and the divine nature (epignosis), urging believers to let God’s mind govern theirs. Throughout, he calls the audience to active worship, to share the livestream, and to engage in community. The session ends with a declaration of transformation in God’s presence, affirmations of faith, and a collective worship song.

Lord, we thanking you right now for life, for health, and for strength, because we know it's because of you that we live, that we move, and that we have our being. Lord, we understand and we know that it's not no goodness of our own, God, that we are here today. But Lord, we stand and we thank you right now, Father God, for life today. We thank you for health and strength today. We thank you for the activities of our limbs, God. We thank you for our mind, God. Hallelujah.

Lord, we thank you for the breath of life that you have instilled in us today, God, because we realize that it's your breath that we breathe and it's your air, God. And without you, God, we know we can do no thing. So Lord, we thank you and we praise your holy and your righteous name. Lord, we bow before you today as the King of Kings, as the Lord of Lords, God, as our way maker, God, as our provider, as our wheel in the middle of a wheel. Lord, we thank you right now, God, for all you've done for us, God. We thank you for your many blessings, God. We thank you for this house of worship that you've you've given us, God, to come in and be able to worship you in spirit and in truth, God, with no boundaries, God, but giving you the glory and all the honor. Lord, we thank you for our pastor, our Apostle. God, we thank you for the word of God that you sit on him, oh God, in the mighty name of Jesus. As he began to give it to us, God, give us ears to hear and a heart to— and a heart to receive, God, what you have to say. Lord, don't let any word be fall on deaf ears, God, but open our hearts that we may receive it, God, we may eat it, God, we may regurgitate it and eat it again, God, so that it can be edified to body. Lord, we thank you for strength today, God. If there's anybody not feeling well, any sickness, God, we bind up anything that's not like you in the mighty name of Jesus. We take it from the root, we curse it, and we send it back to dry places. Every pain, every ailment, right now in the mighty name of Jesus, because your word said that by your stripes we were healed. God, if it's finances, we are healed. Healer. In our minds, God, we are healed. We thank you right now for being a healer. We thank you for being a way maker. We thank you for being our way out of no way. Lord, we thank you. Lord, we praise you today, God, for being who you are, God. We thank you for our government, God. We pray right now for the President of the United States. God, we pray for all those that are in office, God, all his cabinet. Lord, you said that the heart of the king is in your hand. Lord, you said if we pray and seek your face, God, and turn from our wicked ways, you would hear from heaven and you would heal the land. So Lord, we're praying and Lord, we're believing and trusting in you, God, that the government is on your shoulder and we will not be bound, we will not be sad, we will not be afraid, God, because we know that you are the King of Kings and you are the Lord of Lords and every knee gotta bow to you, oh God, every knee has to bow. So Lord, we thank you right now. We thank you, God, for even those that didn't make it, God, and had a desire to come. Touch them, God, wherever they may be right now, in the mighty name of Jesus. And Lord, we thank you right now for all things, God. We thank you right now for all things, God. We praise you right now for all things, God. All things are new, God, in the mighty name of Jesus. And Lord, I thank you right now for being back into this place, God. We thank you, God, for protecting this building, oh God. Everything that we had was here when we came back. We thank you for it, God, that your angels of goodness and mercy surrounds us, God, that you shield us, God, even from danger seen and unseen. We thank you, God, for standing guard. We thank you for your ministering angels. Lord, we thank you for having watch over us, oh God. We praise you right now in the mighty name of Jesus. We pray for every family member, God, that needs prayer, every family member that is lost. We plead the blood of Jesus over everything that's not like you. And Lord, we ask right now as the word come, God, saturate the atmosphere, God, God, saturate the atmosphere. God, let us receive what it is you have in the mighty name of Jesus. What the Spirit of the Living God would say to the church. Do something unusual. Do something man cannot do. Charge this atmosphere and saturate the walls. Let your Shekinah glory be revealed in this place, and we'll give your name the praise.
We'll give your name the glory.
We'll give your name the honor.
Yes, Lord.

Just lay your hands on yourself and say, you are welcome, you are welcome, God. Welcome, welcome, welcome, welcome here, welcome here. Ain't going to be fooling with this. It was working perfect before I started. Yeah, perfect. Glory to God. Glory to Jesus. Hallelujah. Thank you, sir. All right, we going to make sure we we get this out tonight. Amen. Amen. Glory to God. All right, those of you watching us live, welcome to our live stream tonight. Do me a favor, please go ahead and share this. Share it in your story, share it with people down below, tag them. Uh, if you are perhaps watching us and you come in, whether you're on YouTube, Facebook, either one, we're streaming over 4 different platforms tonight, 3 pages and our YouTube channel. So however you are watching us, do me the kind favor, please, and share this live stream. Tonight we're going to continue our series on the power of favor. Somebody say that with me. Say, the power, the power of favor. Say this with me. Say, God desires me to live to live in the realm of favor. Glory to God. And I want you to believe that is true. We started teaching this because I believe we live in a time where it's going to take for real the favor of God to cause us to prevail over the systems of the world and the things that the world is doing, we're going to have to be living consistently under God's favor. And we define favor just by— we'll review— as uncommon success, divine endorsement. It's a supernatural current that pushes you into places that effort alone cannot Favor brings you to a place where you understand you must depend on God. Say that with me. Say, I must depend on God. I want you to grab this tonight. You got to put your dependency and your trust totally in him. You can't trust the government. You can't put trust in your job. You can't put trust in your business and your clients. Your trust has to be in him, because anything we've achieved by effort can dissolve if it is not maintained by God. So we need favor. So we've talked about the nature of favor, we've talked about the functions of favor, We talked about the principles of favor. We— Sunday we was talking about how favor has a price, it has a cost. We talked about blessing, mercy, and illumination as elements or ingredients that connect us to favor. And one of the things I share with you is that every success story has a memory of favor. So if you're going to have uncommon success, there's going to be some favor connected to it somewhere. Are y'all here? Yes. So you can't just kind of coast through life expecting to have success and to be effective in the kingdom if you're not aligned with the favor of God. So tonight I want to talk about— I want to kind of talk about faith and favor, because it's impossible to believe that favor can work if you have no faith in God. All right, I'm gonna say that again. It's impossible to believe that favor can work if you have no faith in God. Say this with me. Say, I gotta have faith in God. You gotta trust that God is who he says he is. You gotta trust that God can do what he says he can do. All right, say that with me. Say, God can do— God can do what he says he can do. What he says he can do. My God, tonight he can't lie. If he said it, so shall it be. The Bible says if he said it, so shall it come to pass. He can't lie. His word is true, but you got to believe that. Yeah. Hallelujah. So just as a recap, some— there are some things that we've said about favor that it takes faith really to believe. So say this with me. Say, favor is the key. Favor is the key to uncommon success. So we've talked about it already, and I'm going to teach it again. I want us to just really hear it again. Say this with me. Say, favor is the difference between my present and my future. Okay, you again, you got to have faith to trust that fact. These are facts about favor, but it takes faith to believe that they're going to happen. Number 3, faith— favor will cost you something. It costs integrity, it costs peace, it costs patience, it causes you to take risks, and most of all, it causes you— it costs faith. Say that with me, say it costs faith. Faith creates envy, and favor also creates envy. When you operate in favor, people— and we've taught this— people, you're going to have both that will be envious of you because favor is on your life. We read about Joseph, how Joseph's brothers envied him. They threw him in a pit because God's favor was on him. The enemy hates people who are favored. He hates people who operate in high levels of favor. So touch yourself, say, favor is working through me. Say, not everyone will celebrate my elevation, my promotion, my favor. You got to believe that because, because when you run into it, you just gotta know they hating or they're coming against me because of favor. Are y'all here?
Yeah.
Now I want you to understand And there's some people that's going through stuff now. If you listen to me, there's some people— some things are coming against you not because you are under favor or walking by faith. Some things are coming against you because you're not in faith and you're not operating in favor. But for those of us that are aligned in favor, hear me. We get attacks from the enemy because he does not want to see us achieve the results of faith and favor working together. All right, are y'all here?
Yes, sir.
Glory to God. Here we go. So let's, let's jump into this. Go to Hebrews 10. Glory to God. Somebody type that in the comments. And please, guys, by all means, I need y'all to share this. Praise God. Hebrews 10, we're going to read verses 38 and 39, and we're just going to kind of walk through this because it takes— it took favor for Joseph in Genesis 39 to go from that pit to ending up in the palace operating operating in the favor that God had planned for him. He had to trust that what God had spoken over his life was real. What God had spoken was true. Are y'all here? He had to trust that. Praise God. So God wants to take you from pit to palace. He wants to take you from obstacles and challenges to sitting in a place that he ordained for you way before you even got here. But you got to have faith to do that, right? Daniel— the Bible said in Daniel 1:9 that God brought Daniel into favor, not just with him but with the king. Yeah, Daniel was favored by people in high authority. Glory to God. And he was able to accomplish great in the earth because of the favor he had that with people in high authority. So you and I need favor in the world. Amen. So we can accomplish the things that we need to accomplish. Watch this. Mary could not even give birth to Jesus. Glory to God. You can— Luke 1:28-30, the Bible says she was highly favored of God. So watch this. Favor gave birth to the natural, which was Jesus. All right, so say it again. Say, I need favor. I need favor to give birth to the supernatural. Give birth to the supernatural. Favor is a force that is important, and it works together with faith to make life easy. Hebrews 10:38, the Bible said, now the just shall live by faith. Now I want to stop right there because it says the just shall live by faith. It doesn't say we should try it out every now and then or try it out when we got a situation, okay, what we need to believe, or we ain't got no choice to believe. Now we should be living every single day by faith. Say that with me. Say, I should be living every single day, every single day, by faith. That's real, y'all. Not try it out when it's, it's inconvenient in your life and you ain't got no other choice, all your other options ran out, and now you choose to believe God. No, don't wait till you get cancer to believe God to heal it. Believe God before it even shows up that you will never get it. Amen. Are y'all here? Yes. When you're living by faith, you believe in advance that the promises of God are going to manifest and work in your life. Amen. See, if faith was important important to our daily lifestyle, we will have less situations where faith becomes urgent. See, a lot of times we have an urgency of faith because we have not made it important on a daily basis, right? Say that with me. Say, in order to see favor, in order to see in my life. I must make faith important every single day. Matter of fact, it should be the most important thing because it said you shall live by faith. You don't live, is that you breathe by faith. Okay. I mean, how many times have you really throughout the day just realized that your lungs still working? Your heart's still working because God is involved. Sometimes we go throughout the day and think we're really carrying it. Yeah, that's true. And a good sign that you feel that way is when you start getting depressed and getting upset about stuff that you can't fix, okay? Because at the end of the day, you're not in control anyway. But when you— when it gets out of your control, that's when you lose But if you're operating in faith, you'll always know that God's got you. Okay, watch this. He says, the just shall live by faith. But if any man draw back— wait a minute— my soul has no pleasure in him. Not draw back from believing, but watch this. If any man will draw back— hear me—
from—
ooh-wee— living by faith at all times. So God's not pleased— this is what he's saying— when we choose faith based on urgency. We got to operate in this all the time. Because he says, if you do this, I'm not pleased, because it says you don't trust me. It says you don't believe I really got your best interest at heart. This is big, man, because a lot of times what we do, we come to church, we go back home, come to church, go back home, and we never really get the idea One, that God is real for real, and God— watch this— is spiritually, volitionally, and emotionally attached to who we are. He said pleasure is an emotion. He said, I don't get no pleasure out of you not believing me. I get no joy out of you being a doubter. Oh, here, so I can't give you favor. That's why the favor gets held up, cuz we're operating in the realm of doubt. Pleasure is favor. God says, I cannot give you favor because I'm not pleased. Oh, and, and a lot of time we think just because we're not fornicating, lying, cheating, doing those sins, that— but you can stop doing that but and still not really have favor, come on, because you, you doubt God. It's, it's a baby Christian that all you can believe God for— hear me— and all you can trust that's right about God is the fact that he wants you to obey rules. It's funny how we get that. We'll hear the preacher say, stop sinning, stop doing this, stop— and we'll stop. And we'll hear him say, you're going to hell if you don't stop, so we stop. You know, it takes faith to do that. It takes faith to believe that if you don't do what brings you pleasure, that God is going to be pleased with that. You're doing it because you're trying to please a God you've never you ever seen. So he's saying, in every aspect of your life, don't just stop there. Yes, live right, live holy, but also believe every other word he said in the book that he promised you he's able to perform. Amen. Amen. Yeah, church is a little slow right here. Because we like good church. Come on, we like legalism. Don't take a bath, don't put on pants, don't wear earrings, don't brush your teeth. If somebody's talking to us like that, we think that God is present. And God is saying, I just need you to trust me. I need you to trust me with your whole life. Say that with me. Say, I got to trust him. I have to trust him with my whole life. My whole life. Whole life. All of it. You got to give it. He says, now watch this. He said, I have no pleasure in them that draw back. He said, but we are none of them who draw back unto perdition. So again, he equates this to going back to sin.
Sin.
Going back to Bunton, perdition is sin and fear of what's to come. Perdition is actually fear of punishment or fear of torment. He said we're not of them that go back to being afraid because we live by faith, because we know God is real. He got us. We're not living in fear because of what government officials do. Are y'all here? Yeah. We don't live in fear because we may face financial difficulty, because we live by faith. He says we are of them that believe to the saving of the soul. Now, if you could believe that God saved your soul, you believe you actually got a soul and that soul is You believe a man actually came out of heaven, got on the cross, died for your sin, and now you can have eternal life. You know how many people in the world believe that? I believe it. Amen. I'm sure everybody in the room believes it. I'm sure everybody watching believes Now, if you could believe that, why stop right there? Are y'all hearing this? You ought to be able to believe he can heal your body. All right, if you believe he saved your soul, which you can't see, but you can't believe he can heal your finger what you can't see. Are y'all hearing this? I mean, just really just think about it now. You believe your soul is saved, but the stuff that you're used to controlling, when it's out of your control, you— it's hard to believe that God's got you right there. To. Okay, I know it's, it's, it's, it's a real problem because we can never really operate in the invisible kingdom if we don't operate by faith. Are y'all here? Yes. And our faith— when you live by faith, your faith can't be laid back Laid-back faith is slow. It creates delays. Your faith has to be aggressive. Aggressive faith changes things. It changes people. It releases the favor of God. You got to be very deliberate to believe. Now, faith is pistos in Greek, which means to have total confidence, total reliance on what you cannot see, to leave what you can see and put confidence, reliability in what you can't see. That's what faith is. So if I'm gonna put my faith in something, it's going to be in God because his promises are true. His promises are yay and amen. And the more I walk by faith, the more I see that what he has said is real. Are y'all hearing me?
Yes.
And look, here's, here's the devil's plan. Let's go to Luke 22. I'm gonna be out of here quickly. Glory to God. Go to Luke 22. Glory to Jesus. And we're going to read verses 31 and 32. Because the devil has a plan for your faith. The reason he has a plan, because he doesn't want you to walk— hear me— in favor. He doesn't want you to experience the favor of the Lord. What he wants is for you to live in doubt and fear so that you never see the promises of God manifested in life for real. He don't want you to walk by this. So watch what he does. What— this is his desire. Listen to this. Luke 22:31-32. And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan has desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat. But I have prayed for thee that your faith fail not. And when you are converted, strengthen thy brother. It's a lot right here. First of all, I want you to hear the devil's plan. His desire is to have you and to sift you. To sift means to break into pieces. So he wants to break you into pieces. So stop saying when you're going through something, 'Cause I'm just in pieces, I'm just broken in pieces.' Get that out of your mouth, because at the end of the day, you're operating in the devil's desire when you say that. That's what he want, to break you up spiritually, to break you up physically. Stop confessing, 'Oh, I'm just physically just broke down, this old body.' Stop saying that out of your mouth. Glory to God. You gotta change your testimony because he wants to break you into pieces. He wants to— watch this— silt also means to shatter beyond repair. So he wants to break you to the point where you never recover. Do you realize there are some people that if they don't find God They are broken beyond repair if they don't listen to truth, if they don't open their ears to receive what God has to say. Something has happened in their life that has broken them beyond repair, lest they find God. You ought to thank God that the thing you went through didn't break you beyond repair. Thank you, Lord. Thank You ought to thank the Lord that you still got the right frame of your mind. You ought to thank God, glory to God, that the things that happened to you when you was a child, the things that happened in a bad relationship, that they did not destroy you, that you're still here and you still got a mind to live for God. Yes, Lord, thank you. Hallelujah. Because the devil's desire is to break you, to break you down. He wants to agitate you so that you'll stop trusting God. Anytime you get in a place where you don't feel like God loves you or you don't feel like you can trust him, it's always the devil, and he is plotting an overthrow. To take over your life so you don't fulfill purpose. He wants to overthrow you. He wants you to resist faith, because if you don't resist faith, the only other option for resistance is to resist him. And if you resist him, he has to flee.
Yeah.
Hear me, the devil plan is to weaken you, to drain you, to wear you down. He wants your faith to be so worn down, glory to God, that you won't even think about God when it comes time to create in crisis. He wants you to try to create in crisis on your own. He wants you to work your own way out. Hey, we know we ain't got no business doing that. I'm serious. If we belong to God, everything in our life is a job for him. We have to follow his way out. We have to do things by favor and trust that God's got us. If I don't say anything else tonight, I want you to get that. God's got you. Those of you at home, God's got you, and you got to trust that he's going to bring you through and bring you out. Say the word. Say, God's got me. God got me. Y'all write in the comments, say, God's got me. Glory to God. He's never going to leave you alone. God's interested in your victory, and the devil wants to continue to pressure you and weigh your faith down through disappointments. You know, every time you go through a disappointment, that if you do not grip yourself in faith and know that whatever's happening is working together for your good, the enemy He will use that disappointment to cause you to get a step further away from God. And whatever disappointment that you trust that God wasn't there to help you, you get farther away from his hand.
Yes.
Are y'all here? Yes. He's— and that's how the devil is weighing you down, sifting you, breaking you into pieces where you want no parts of God. And watch this, you could be serving God religiously and not really operating in the levels of his promise that he's ordained for you. God have mercy. See, the enemy ultimately wants you to back down. From the promises of God, from faith in God, so that you won't stand firm and— watch this— stand through to see the word of God manifested for real in your life. Say that with me. Say, the word of God, the word of God, can't fail, can't fail. Listen, so if something in the word doesn't work for you it ain't the word, it's your lack of trust in the word. Oh boy. Remember, watch this, we read it. He said if you draw back, God says I have no pleasure. So if you doubt, God says I have no pleasure in you doubting. But then in Hebrews 11:6, he said without faith, without trusting God, without is impossible to please him. So you can't even bring pleasure to God without faith. Nonetheless, you can't receive favor from God if you do not have faith. Are y'all here? Glory to God. So watch this. So let's just get a quick— go to Hebrews 11:1 real quick, real quick, and I'm gonna be out of here, I promise you. I'm not gonna wait long. But I want you to understand that in order to see favor manifested, you gotta do it in faith. It doesn't just happen. I wish I could stand and tell you you got favor just because you got saved. You did. Otherwise, otherwise, if that was the case, everybody that say will be seeing the blessing lessons of favor in their life. All right, so we see clearly that ain't the truth. The tree is known by fruit. All right, and if you want to see the fruit of favor, you got to align in faith with God's plan. So the Bible says this, it says in Hebrews 11:1, now faith is the substance of things hoped for The evidence of things not seen. So the first thing we see, and this is just a refresher, I've not taught this verse many times, but I need you to grab this because you will not see favor if you don't operate in this kind of faith. Faith is never tomorrow. It's not a minute from now. It's now. All right, it's not a second from now. It's not So every day of your life, you need to be living inside of now faith. You need to be trusting and believing God now. And I'm telling you, family, in this season of our lives, we need faith like never before. We got to believe that God's going to show up for us. We got to believe that the substance of things is faith. Oh boy, the things you desire is made from faith. All right, the things you want to see happen in your life made from faith. That's interesting. Because you thought it was made of your money. The money you need to produce it is made of faith. It's made— you, you have to trust God for every single thing. It's the substance of what you hope for. Now, if you're not hoping for nothing, this don't matter. But if you're hoping for something better If you're hoping to pay off your debt, if you're hoping for a home, if you're hoping for material things that you need to survive, then you need some faith, and you're gonna need it. Glory to God. Because let me tell you something, there we got 66 books of covenant that tell us what belonged to us. You're worried about the big beautiful bills. When you ought to be concentrating and studying the big beautiful covenant. We got a great covenant with God. Hear me, that if we trust God, hallelujah, what we need he will provide. He will do what he said he will do. Type it in the comments. Faith is now, and God will provide. Hallelujah! You got to believe that because faith is now. It's the substance of the things you're hoping for. Again, what are you hoping for? You want anything? Faith. Glory to God, it's going to come by faith. And intertwining that faith is what— with the promises of God is what releases the favor of God to produce those things. Oh boy. He said it's also the evidence of things not seen. Evidence is proof. Proof that what you can't see right now, it really exists and it really is real. Say evidence. Evidence got a whole lot of folk in jail. It's proof that you've committed the crime. If you give the opposing attorney brings evidence against the person being prosecuted. That evidence is used to convict that person and sentence them to jail. Say evidence. Evidence. Say it's proof. It's proof. Watch this. The same way faith is the proof of the things that you cannot see tangibly being a part of your life, faith will show you that they actually can be a part of your life when you believe God to produce those things. Faith is your evidence that you can be a millionaire. Faith is your evidence that you can, glory to God, have a debt-free house, that you can have a great portfolio, that you can have a good family, that your body can be healed. Faith is the evidence, right? Somebody ought to shout, I got evidence! I got evidence! Next time your body starts wracking with pain, you ought to open your mouth and say, I got evidence I'm healed. The word of God says with his stripes I'm healed. Glory to God. The next time you're broke, open your mouth and say, I got evidence that God would supply all of my needs according to his riches in glory. You ought to be able to say, I have evidence. I have evidence. Or even when you can't tangibly touch it, faith gives you is. He realized that faith is the most powerful force you possess as a human. I'm gonna say that again. Oh God, have mercy. Faith is the most powerful force you possess as a human being. You better put it to work. Work, you better use it because it's the very thing that releases the favor of God into your life. You know why? Because when you lose faith, life has no meaning. You can't trust and believe that there's something more than what you physically see. It extrapolates, it sucks out of your life the very essence sense of the very desire to want to live because you have no reason. Faith gives you reason when you can't find one naturally. Oh God, maybe someone watching me, you're contemplating suicide. Maybe you're watching this live or by replay, but I'm telling you now, you got plenty to live for. Put your faith in God and God will give you evidence that— oh my God— that you have not seen before and reason to keep living. Yeah, you got to decide that my life has meaning, my life has purpose, I got a reason to be here. Now here's the catch. This is what makes faith the most powerful force on Because God requires faith in him before he reacts. He will not move unless you believe. His greatest pleasure is to be believed, is to be trusted. You can dance all night. Ain't gonna do you no good if you don't trust God. You can pray all night, it ain't gonna do you no good if you don't believe what you pray. Okay, all right, all right. You can pray all night with no faith, it's not going to amount to anything. You just wasted time. That, or went through some religious motions to make you feel good. The Bible even tells you, believe when you pray that you shall receive the things that you ask. All right, so no matter how you— how long you pray, how many tongues you speak in, if you don't believe God, he won't move. My Lord, because without faith it's impossible impossible to please him. I'm going, I'm going. Reality: every human being came to this planet with a measure of faith. I'm gonna say that again. You were born with a measure of faith in you. Let me tell you why. The reality is, when God breathed the breath of life into Adam, the Bible says Adam became a living soul. He became a living Nefesh, which means he was a living expression of God. He was a type of God, not God, but an expression of who God is. Every human, saint or sinner, has a dimension of faith because they have a dimension of God, because God is an expression of what faith looks like. Everything God does, he does it knowing that it will happen because he's God. He never doubts that when he speaks to light and say, let there be light, he never doubted that light would show up because he's God. He spoke it and it happened. You have an element of that in you when you come to this planet. The Bible said every man is given a measure of faith, and we grow from faith to faith, just like favor. Your faith has to be grown. Say that with me. Say, my faith, my faith has to be grown, has to be grown. Now, can it be grown if you don't listen to the word? Faith come by hearing, hearing by the word of God. How can you hear without a preacher? How can he preach except he be sent? So you got to have a hunger for the word of God. Even those of you that think that, okay, I'm gonna go to church when it's convenient, and I'm just going to listen to the live. I'm telling you, in the days to come, I'm praying about it. God is going to give me some instructions. I know he is. He just ain't gave it to me yet. Where everything we doing in church, when you see the video, you're gonna see it after it happened. It is not going to be live. So you need to get in your mind right now that you belong in church. Church ought to be a week— we go everywhere else we want to when we want to go. All right, but when you need to be in the church, sitting on the teaching, sitting on the preacher, getting the word, you need to be in the building. Okay. All right, all right. Whether you remember here or somewhere else, you got to make up in your mind that you're going to sit and be accountable to the word of the living God. There's something different that happens in the building for you if you're in the physical presence of the word being taught. Amen. Okay, the Bible said the word of God is alive, it's sharper than any two-edged sword. There's something that can tangibly happen for your life when you're in the presence of the word being taught. Okay, I'm going to keep because I don't care what you say, faith comes by learning about God. The more you learn about God, the more faith you have. And you have to— and I'm telling you something, the best learning environment is in person. All right, that's why children go to school. One of the hardest things in the world was when COVID hit, was to train these children at home, because there's a different level of accountability and structure in the classroom. Oh, glory to God! You got to come to church where you can learn. Hallelujah! Glory to God! Listen, I wish I could take days off like some I can't. I had to be here. I thank God I got a vacation last week. Glory to God. But I couldn't take off tonight. That's hard. It was raining. I had 100 excuses, but I was here, and I'm here. Glory to the name of God. Because you know what? I want to be around the things of God. Okay, here we go. This is going to be a good one. Believing in God— watch this— does not guarantee immediate favor. All right, while favor is connected to faith and belief, just because you believe doesn't mean it's gonna come right when you want it to. God moves in his own time.
Me.
Faith doesn't have the ability to move God before he wants to move, right? Are y'all hearing this? Yes, because he's God and he's going to move when he's ready. Your job, keep believing. Your job is to keep trusting, right? Say that with me. Say, my job, my job is to keep believing. Say, my job is to keep trusting. Trusting. Oh God, you got to believe when you can't see him, when you can't trace him. You got to trust him. Are y'all here? Yes. Glory to God. Listen to this. God— and I'm almost done— wants us to trust his power, not his works. Okay, I'm gonna say it again. God wants us to trust his ability, his power, not his works. Israel knew the acts of God. Moses knew the way ways of God. Moses trusted in God's power. Moses trusted in God's ability. Israel lived for the acts. That's why anytime they got idle, they was doing something ridiculous, building a calf and all kind of stuff, because at the end of the day, they didn't know the heart of God. They know the power of God. But when you know the power of God, even if he's not moving when you want him to move, you keep believing, you keep trusting, because you don't live according to acts, you live according to his ability. He's God, and ain't nobody God but God. Yeah, hallelujah! He's God all by himself. Yeah, he has declared that he is God God all by himself. He don't need nobody else to declare it. He don't need nobody to come into agreement. He's God. Yeah. And we gotta trust his power. And I think about that often. I'm like, God, why didn't we come up with a bigger word for you? Being the etymologist as I am, my love for words, I'm like, God, we could have came up with a huge word for you. And he began to tell me, he said, son, there are not enough syllables. Dictionaries. There are not enough cyclopedic indexes. There are not enough concordances to define who I really am. Are y'all hearing this? He said to me, he says, son, who I really am rests in those 3 letters, G-O-D. And I become God based on the experience that I have with my creation. And the more you walk with him, the more he becomes God. The more you get to know him, the the more he becomes God to you. You have to spend time with him and trust his power. And even when it seems like he's moving slow, if you're close to him, you know that he ain't here now, but I know he coming. Amen. He may not have fixed this now, but I know he gonna fix it. Are y'all here? Yes. We gotta trust his power, not his word. Watch this. Your faith Faith can only manifest through tests. The Bible says the trying of your faith works patience. So God will take you through to teach you how to trust him, to teach you how to wait on him. Your faith has to stand trial. You can say you got faith, but you really don't know you do until your faith has been tried, until your faith has been challenged. You won't know God can provide until you go through something where he has to become Jehovah Jireh, God your provider. You won't know his ability until you get in a position that you have to trust him to manifest in the area you need him. You won't know he's Jehovah Rapha until you need him to heal you. So he tests you. Are y'all here? Glory to God, we love him. Hallelujah. You have to understand that God, through favor— and this is my last, this is my last scripture wants you to possess what he has provided. Say that with me. Say, God, come on, y'all may say it. Say, God wants me to possess what he has provided. Go to 2 Peter. Glory to God. 2 Peter. Jesus, my God. Today, 2 Peter chapter 1, I'm begin reading at verse number 1. The Bible says, Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ. Let me just stop and say that right, right here, right quick. This is a rabbit trail. This is free. Glory to God. Won't charge you for this one. Okay, notice Peter says, I'm a servant and an apostle. Okay, I want to just make a quick commercial break right here for the apostles that believe believe that just because they carry the title Apostle that they are not servants. I need you to understand, Apostle such and such, your chiefest call is one of a servant. We're serving his doulos in Greek, which means you are bond slave. You are slave to the assignment of God, which means that apostolically we should never embrace our own agendas. We should be doing what God says. Amen. So because you got a lot of apostolic types that refuse to serve, they want to be served. They want somebody to carry their bag. They want somebody to open their car door. They want the status that they think comes with this office. But the apostle is a chief servant that happens to have plenipotentiary status, gubernatorial authority. He has the ability to be a stratosphere warrior. The reason he can operate in those dimensions is because an apostle humbles themselves as a servant, not a celebrity. You're an apostle with 15 armor bearers and you got 3 members. You recruited the armor bearers on Facebook. Book, you got 3 members. Something's wrong with that picture.
I—
Lord, okay, I'm going home. Glory to God. This is 2 Peter, servant and an apostle. And I love how servant is first. Of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious— what?— faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Savior Jesus Christ. Christ. So first of all, here we see— I'm going to show you how to possess what's been provided. So first of all, you got to become certain whether you're an apostle, pastor, prophet, teacher, you need to get the mindset of a servant. We are bond slaves to God. I know black folks don't like that word slaves, but listen, we are slaves to God. I ain't talking about some man out there telling pick some cotton. But we are bond slaves to what God wants from us. I wouldn't dare tell you to say I'm a slave of God, but I want you to think it even if you don't want to say it, because you are a slave. You ought to be controlled by him. If he says jump, you should say how high. Are y'all hearing this? We— and watch this, amazing how people will turn flips for man but won't turn flips for God. A man can say that God said, and people will turn flips over a lie. Well, because many times God didn't say half of the stuff some of these people saying he said. Well, okay, and, and they'll turn flips and move into obedience over that when God ain't said not one word. But when it comes down to the precious promises of God, to the word of God, we won't stretch out in obedience and faith because we do it for men to win the approval of me. But you ought to want the approval of God. You ought to want him to be pleased. Remember we read in the beginning, you don't want him to have pleasure with you. Yes. Oh boy. So if he said it, I'm gonna do what he said. If it were demanded, and I'm gonna follow what the word of God is telling me to do. Yes. Have mercy. He says, listen, this is— listen, I'm— we have obtained like precious through the righteousness of God and our Savior Jesus Christ. Watch this: grace and peace be multiplied to you through the knowledge of God and of our Lord Jesus Christ. So there's the second thing. If you want to see the promises of favor manifested through scripture and the integrity of God's word to come alive in your life, you need grace and you need peace. To be multiplied in your life. Say multiplied. And he tells you how to get it. He says through the knowledge of God. So as your knowledge increases, as your intimacy with God— hallelujah— increases, grace and peace peace. Multiply. Yes, Lord. What? Wait a minute. Grace, charis in Greek, which is favor, which is God giving you a free gift of favor to be empowered to fulfill righteousness. Grace is not just the forgiveness of sin. That's a type of grace. He empowers you through that to get up and live right again. But it's a free gift of favor. God says, I want to multiply this toward you, my God, through the knowledge of Jesus Christ, to the knowledge of God. You got to get to know it. All right, I taught a few weeks back, it's in the knowing. All these messages tie together. We got to know God for real. It's not enough to know God through the preacher. Are y'all here? There's some people, they only believe they can hear from God through their man or woman of God, all right? And the dangerous thing about that, some of these preachers like people thinking that. Uh-huh. The devil is a liar. I want you to know God for yourself. I want you to understand that he hears you just like he hear me. Amen. When I pray, God's looking for faith. When you pray, God's looking for faith. And if he finds faith, he's going to hear you just like he hears me. Amen. Ain't no special privilege I got with God just because I got a title. We're all servants. Yeah. Are y'all hearing this? Yes. Some preachers like feeling like they that needed. I promise you, I want to I want the people that are connected to me to be so mature that if you call me for prayer, glory to God, you already, already know anyway what's about to happen, because you don't pray, you don't heard from God. I'm just a second witness to your relationship. Are you hearing this?
Amen.
You know, I grew up in the church where, you know, you had to call pastor for everything. I'm like, we ain't got to call the pastor to pray about the color of these curtains. Y'all hear this? Or this carpet. No, don't call me about that. You can talk to God yourself about the color of your carpet. Are you hearing this? When you get in there, I come bless it. Praise God. Amen. But don't get me in on that because you don't need me for You got to grow up, or you go to the Bible college, you call the preacher on the phone, well, I'm about to buy a car, I don't know what color to get.
Uh-uh.
Are y'all hearing this? And I saw, I watched the man of God be there for everything in people's life. And then, you know, because you felt honorable being that person that was doing it, But then the more I thought about it, I'm like, these people, some of this stuff is simple. They can get to God for themselves. Glory to God. I mean, you single, you met a guy, yeah, okay, call me about that so I can put my eyes on him and tell you what the— said. All right, but I want you to pray about him too. Yeah, because when I tell you he ain't the one, I want you to be done heard that as well. Glory to God. So you ain't moving in your flesh. What's up, stuff, man? You just gotta know that you— there's grace and peace. Priest, peace is skill. This, this Greek word for peace here is irene, or sirene, is where you get the words Irene. It's skill, ability. So every one of you have skill and ability, and if you can operate confidently intently in the skill and the ability that God has given you, and you let that multiply, favor will follow your God-given skill set. Oh, but I gotta get out of here. Verse 3 said, according as his divine power— said divine power, come on, say it again— said divine power. That's dunamis in Greek, his ability. His— oh my God— his inherent ability, which— watch this— if nothing ought not give you confidence, this ought to. God says his divine power, through his ability— he didn't shortchange you at all— he gave us all things that pertain to life and godliness. All things. I mean, he didn't leave nothing out. He said, I'm according to my ability, God's ability. He said you got everything you need that pertains to life and God. And notice how Apostle Peter starts it off. He said all of us have received this precious faith, not just me because I'm the apostle. All of us have this precious faith where we have everything that pertains to life and godliness. What a mighty God we serve. Yes, Lord. Wait, rub your belly. Say, I got everything I need. I got everything I need to be who I am. To be who I am. Oh, I need you to say that again. Say, I got everything I need. I got everything I need to be who I am. Be who I am. You ain't got to borrow my anointing. You ain't got to borrow nobody else's anointing. You ain't got to borrow nobody else's purpose. Or gift. You have been uniquely and authentically qualified to be who you are, and God's going to perform great work in your life because it's already there. Yeah, thank you, Lord. And when you begin to line with that, favor is released and it follows you and it looks for you, because favor comes upon purpose, because it wants you to produce uncommon unsuccess. Watch this, it says, through the knowledge of him that has called us to glory and virtue. So again, there's that word knowledge again. I love this word because epignosis in Greek is knowledge. It means that you're thoroughly furnished with the intelligence of God. That's, that's it. Epignosis says My mind has been replaced by his intelligence. Glory! That means your brain is only a house for his thoughts. Epignosis means you cease to work things out in your own intellectual capacity and you trust that God Nonsense. His intellectual capacity is greater than yours, and you let him overthrow your mind. In this church I grew up in, a mother used to get up and testify. She would sing, my mind done gone, Jesus got it, my mind done gone. That's just how she said it too. Jesus got it, my mind done gone, Jesus got it, my mind done gone, Jesus got it.
Shout!
She was saying, look, I ain't got my mind no more, he got it. Somebody say, Apostle, you crazy, we got to think. I said, no, you know, God said, let this same mind be in you that was also in Christ Jesus. That's epignosis. But guess, guess the operative word there— let. Let. You got to let his mind come in and take over. Amen. That literally means let his mind come in, take charge. Think like Jesus would think concerning your life. Are you hearing this? Yes. Oh God, because guess what? He's already got a plan. That's right. Before I formed you in the belly, I knew you. We talked about that last Sunday. Now, Pastor Jasper preached last Sunday, but Sunday before last I talked about let that— how we were created in the before, and God knows us. No is an intellectual term. He programmed a thought process perfectly designed for our life and our purpose, and we got to get that hypnosis and let him take over. Hallelujah. So favor can constantly flow through our life. Verse 4, I'm done. He says, whereby are given unto us exceeding— somebody say exceeding— which means far beyond what we can think or say. Exceeding great and precious promises. You cannot come up with these promises. He came up with them. So I got promises over my life, and they are mine right now by faith. Amen. My favor and my faith is taking me someplace. Say, I'm not what I used to be. Say, I'm moving into new dimensions, new levels, new heights, new blessings, new breakthrough, new money, new increase. New favor rests on my life right now in Jesus' name. If you believe that, shout about it in this place!
Hallelujah!
Glory to God! He says great and precious promises. Watch this, that by these promises— wait a minute— by these promises, you are partakers of a divine nature. So I can truly say that I'm a partaker of divine nature, of God's way of living. God's way— watch this— of being natural. That's what divine nature is, God's way of being natural. You know, he was natural one time. He was God incarnate, but he operated in the earth in a divine nature. Glory! Oh my God. So God says we can be partakers of that same nature when we partake of the promises. So we got to believe these promises are real to walk in healing, to walk in prosperity, to walk in deliverance, to operate in power, to operate in an invisible kingdom that we can't see with our eyes. Are y'all hearing this? Yes. An invisible kingdom that's unshakable, that's ruled by us, angels, and God. Are y'all hearing this? The administrations of the kingdom of God is humans, angels, and God. Are y'all hearing this? All right. And we're here on Earth to promote his kingdom on Earth. God has given us angels as our assistant to bring that kingdom into fruition. Say, the promises of the kingdom, the promises of the kingdom are available, are available to me, to me right now, right now, in the name of Jesus, in the name of Jesus. He says, I want you to be a partaker of the divine nature, but you got to do something. Watch this: having escaped the corruption that is in this world through lust. Here we go. Corruption. The word is pethora in Greek, and this word is powerful because it means the destruction, the perishing, the slow ethical decay of this world. Watch what he says. Now, that's what kerosene is— ethical decay, perishing. He's saying people actually lust after that. And I'm looking at this like, well, they can't lust after it knowingly, okay? Not understanding that really you're lusting after death. But they're deceived. The minds of people who lust after worldly systems and worldly things, who think they can actually exist in this world without God, are operating in deception. He uses a strong word here, Pastor Jeffrey. He said we got to escape the corruption, cuz guess what? You were born in sin, shaped in iniquity. You were born in a corrupt system. You were taught corrupt behavior. Even if it wasn't sin that you were taught, you were taught a behavior that was anti-kingdom. All right, all right. There was anti-Bible, and you were taught to trust in yourself. And many times we lust after the system because we see so many in this system that seemingly are thriving, seemingly are prospering. And it becomes hard to escape the desire for that. Oh boy, because we want it for ourselves. Well, God said, if you escape and lean on my systems, my word, my structure, I'll make you partakers of a divine nature. You'll have something this world cannot have. You'll know how to operate as supernatural humans who can take over the planet and advance the kingdom. You know, they all— there's talk, there's even teachings out there that there are aliens. I'm not going to touch that tonight because that's not what we're talking about. But what I will say is that on this planet, we are to become the natural habitats, and the people who are not in God will be aliens. The Bible said we're no longer foreigners and strangers or aliens, but we have been translated out of the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of our dear son. So we should be living at another level supernaturally so that people can see us walking and living as supernatural beings. And they look at us and say— when they're running to natural ways of solving issues, we run to spiritual ways They see us actually employing angels and they actually working on our behalf. They see us actually operating in miracles for real. And then we create our own healthcare system where people don't need the medical doctor. Y'all hearing this? All right, where we have our own banking institutions, where we have supernatural wealth programs that are flowing out of faith. Oh my God. Yeah, we got to be the example. We got to create a higher standard. You realize doctors ought to be the apostles of the medical field? We should have medical doctors who have apostolic government on their life to see things in the Holy Ghost. They don't need an x-ray, they can diagnose it through a prophetic revelation. They can take authority over an ailment. Do you realize that we had apostolic people and prophetic people in labs like the CDC, that some of the cures for diseases would already be created because we have anointed people who are creating them out of the mind of God? Amen. Are y'all hearing me? We gotta show up in society. So that they can see that with Spirit, stop lusting after the world's way of doing things. I'm done. Everybody stand. I'm finished. Glory to God. Those of you watching us live, don't leave. Stay with us. Glory to God. I'm going to pray in a moment. I'm ask you to say some things out Thank you, Jesus. When I'm in your presence, Lord, I change. I'm not the same. I'm not the same. When I'm in your presence, Lord, I change. And I won't go back to yesterday again. When I'm in your presence, Lord, I change. I'm not the same. Ashamaya. I'm not the same. When I'm in your presence, Lord, I change, and I won't go back to yesterday again. Just close your eyes for those that are watching, those in the sanctuary. When I'm in your presence, Lord, I change. God's trying to move us out old systems. I'm not the same. I'm not the same. When I'm in your presence, Lord, I And I won't go back to yesterday. Ah, yeah. Father, we give you praise and we thank you for this word. In your presence is fullness of joy, and at thy right hand there are pleasures forevermore. And when you're in our presence. And when we're in your presence, there is transformation, there is change. And so, Father, I decree and declare under the sound of my voice, those watching live, about replay, those in the sanctuary, I declare that as we dwell in your presence, as we become presence-driven people, we'll move by faith, we'll walk by faith and not by sight. And Father, we won't go back to yesterday. We won't go back to carnal thinking. We won't go back to doubting and fear and disbelief. God, in the name of Jesus, we declare that we change, we're transformed in your presence, we're different. God, we won't go back to yesterday. We won't go back to yesterday. We'll believe you, we'll trust you, God. And Father, we give you praise. May the fruit of favor be made manifest in our life. In the mighty name of Jesus, I want you to say this with me tonight. Say, in Jesus' name, I decree and declare I'll never go back to the way I was. Say, Lord, I give you my mind, I give you my body, I give you my soul, I give you my spirit. Live in me, think through me. I I lean and depend upon your word in Jesus' name. And it is true, when I am in your presence, I change, and I won't go back to yesterday again in Jesus' name.
