And this one, this is the 5th installment and hopefully the last. Hopefully I'll be able to finish this. Glory to God. Um, because I really want to move on to something else the Lord is talking to me about for this month. So hopefully we get to finish this today. But say it with me again. Say, the power of favor. Say Say, God has ordained favor for my life. Say, it's his will that I not just say it, but I live in it, I operate in it. Say, my life should be filled with the favor of the Lord. Say, increase is on God's mind. I said Therefore, increase should be on my mind. Say, I believe that favor is divine endorsement. Say, I have been endorsed by God, and because of that, say, I cannot fail. If you believe that, shout about it in Jesus' name. I'm telling you, when favor is present You are failure-proof.

Good God Almighty. It's just the truth anyway. So this morning, I just want to review real quick some of the things we've already discussed, and then we're going to jump into this.
First of all, we've learned that favor is the key to uncommon success. Say that with me. Say, God wants me to have uncommon success. That means when the world looks at you, they should see something that's not normal to them. They should see an effectiveness. Glory God. They should see a— hallelujah— productivity that's above the norm. Matter of fact, touch yourself, say, I'm productive. Mississippi. Yeah, I, I, I knew I was about to get— I'm like, this Mississippi.
Glory to God. Good to see y'all.
I said, I know these people. Thank y'all for being here. Glory to God. Say it again. Say, I'm productive. I'm productive. And say, God God wants me to have uncommon success. You cannot do that without favor. All right, what— matter of fact, we've also learned that favor often can do what effort cannot.

And there'll be seasons in your life where no matter how hard you knock on the door, it's going to stay closed.
Yes.
Y'all ain't got to say much.
but when favor shows up, that door has to open. God puts us in impossible situations so that the favor of the Lord can show up and he can get the glory. Amen. So secondly, we've also learned that favor is the difference between your present and your future. Yes. You ever wonder why seemingly everything looks the same all the time? Yes.
Like there's a cycle that can't be broken. Are y'all here?
Like, every time you look up, it's the same old stuff. It's because there's a lack of favor influencing that situation.

So if you want to move from where you are to where— watch this— God desires you to be, because honestly, you can be where you are and get settled in the fact that this is the way it is. And this is the way it's going to be. But I want to submit to you today, you should not accept your situation as the norm. Amen. There is more. All right, I'm gonna say that again. That's a joke. There is more. Hit yourself in the chest and say, there is more. Don't you settle for what's going on. Don't you settle for what things look I am not settled that this little building and our small congregation is all, glory, that we will be. Are y'all hearing this? And guess what? The difference between where we are now and where we're going is favor. Amen. Thank God that even in our infancy, God has his favor on this ministry. Are y'all here?

Thirdly, we've learned that favor will cost cost you something.
It has a price tag. It's not free. It'll cost you patience. It costs faith. It costs risk.
If you're going to see the favor of God, you have to take risk of obedience. Say that with me. Say, risk of obedience. There's some things that God will tell you to do that are risky. Yes, yes, yes. But in order to see the favor of God move in your life, you got to take risk of obedience and say, God, I really don't want I was having a conversation with somebody last week and they was like, 'I really don't want to do this, but I gotta go back.' They said, 'I'm just gonna be honest with you, I don't want to do this, but I must obey.' Are y'all hearing this? Because what's it— and favor follows obedience. I'm gonna get where I need to be.
I just want to review this real quick for those that this is your first time.
I want you I want you to get it. Glory to God. Hopefully we learned that favor creates envy. We learned that from Joseph. They were so jealous of the favor that was on Joseph's life that they threw him in a pit. Are y'all here? And wait a minute, it was his brothers, right? Most of the time, the people that will envy your progress were the people you don't expect You only got to say much. There are some people that are all right with you as long as you need them, right? As long as you down on your luck. But when God starts changing the game and they see the blessing and favor on your life, you ever see how people shift? Glory to God. It's almost like they wanted you to stay down, and if they see you rising, they won't support your ride. Because at the end of the day, I ain't gonna support that because that looks like that's going somewhere, right? So let me step back and not be involved because I really don't want to see them blessed anyway. Oh, y'all looking at me like everybody wants to see you blessed. Everybody don't want to see you blessed. Everybody don't want to see you prosper. Everybody don't want to see you anointed. Everybody don't want to see you move in power. And most of the time, it's those that are as Cain and Abel. Cain killed Abel because he had favor with God, and all Abel did was worship God and do what God said, and Cain killed him. Oh boy, you better make up your mind that you're going to accept the fact that not everybody will celebrate celebrate your elevation. Not everybody will celebrate your promotion. Everybody gonna celebrate the good things God has done in your life. Are y'all here? Glory to God. We've also learned that you will succeed more quickly with favor than without it. See, we've been trying to do stuff, we're overworking ourselves. We on the grind and we be doing it in our own strength. But I'm telling you, there's an acceleration that comes with favor that makes things that should have happened in 3 years happen in 3 days. Are y'all hearing this? The supernatural will get on your effort, and stuff that should have took you 5 years happens in 5 days, 7 days, 10 days, and it blows your mind.

Say, Lord, give me favor. Say, I receive it in the name of Jesus. We've also learned that every success story has a memory of favor. We've learned that you cannot work hard enough to earn favor because God is the one that dispenses it. Hallelujah! We learned that uncommon people are humble enough to pursue favor. You have to decide.

it's a good place to talk about this because it's important that we understand that every time God gets ready to do something different, there's a season of learning that's required. So I've been for a year writing episodes Putting together the structure for my— me and my wife's podcast called At Home with Mike and Felicia. But God said, there's one more piece that you gotta learn about this industry so you could really maximize it and take what you guys are going to do to another dimension.
So I registered a while back for a conference where they're teaching you how to master being a podcaster. I thought I knew everything, but I watching these people, and I'm like, no, you really don't know. Are y'all hearing it? Amen. Because watch this, you earn what you learn. Come on. An element of favor is learning. Yeah. When you have the opportunity to sit under someone that knows something you don't, come on, you're learning what they know, right? Right. And they're favoring you with their knowledge. Yes, yes. And if you learn what they learn, you can earn what they earn. So if I listen to a guy that's got 10 million downloads on his podcast— y'all ain't got to talk to me here— obviously he knows something I don't. So I need to learn the keys on how he did that. Watch this. Inside of the word learn is earn. L-E-A-R-N. Drop the L, you gotta earn. So if you want to really earn learn the honor. The— watch this— you want to maximize the kingdom in the world, you got to take the position of a learner. So this week I'm going to a conference where I'm gonna be learning for 12 hours. I don't know why it's got to be 12 hours all day every day, but we're gonna sit there 12 hours and learn how to be a podcaster at another level. Are y'all hearing this? See, the, the phenomenal part of this is you have to be humble enough to pursue it. If I was arrogant, like, man, I know everything, I ain't gonna go sit down there with all these people for 12 hours, I wouldn't get the knowledge, and I would go through a repetitive cycle of the same kind of results. Oh boy. See, I got to take the position of a learner. Say, learning is Yeah, it's a good place to be.
So let's jump in this thing. So let's talk about how to activate favor in your life. Let's go to Proverbs 3. Glory to God.
Let's start right here because we got to really look at how to— once favor shows up, how do we sustain it and how do we keep it in operation?

Thank you. Glory to God. Y'all, y'all, y'all there? Proverbs 3, verse 3. The Bible says this, it says, let not mercy and truth forsake you.
Bind them about your neck. Write them on the table of your heart. Verse 4: So shall you find favor— wait a minute— and good understanding in the sight of God and man. So wait a minute, let's start right there. God wants to not only give us favor with him, but he also wants to give us favor with man. Amen. Well, the first thing I got to do to get that, in verse 3, I gotta have some righteous alignment. And how does that happen? I gotta first of all not allow mercy and truth to forsake me. Let's deal with mercy. We talked about this a little bit, um, a couple of weeks ago because I talked about mercy, blessing, and illumination. Well, let's look at this real quick because mercy here in Hebrew is the word shesed, and shesed means kindness. Say kindness. Do you realize God wants to be kind to you? Don't you say, God wants to be kind to me. But here's what I want you to know: he's not going to force his kindness. See, when God is kind, it comes with benefits. Yes, it comes with stuff. It comes with, glory to God, promotion and elevation. God's kindness is not empty.
Amen.
Shesed means that God comes in his fullness. Amen. And he shows you himself fully and gives you full access. So he says, don't forsake full access. Okay, so that means when you're going through a problem, nothing is ever as big as it first appears.
Mm-hmm.
Sometimes stuff be happening, we be freaking out. Yeah. And you really think about some of the stuff that done happened in your life. Yes. And you was just freaking out because at that moment it appeared like a huge thing, a huge crisis. Yes. But if you look back over it now, it really wasn't as big as you you thought. As a matter of fact, guess what? You're here, you're breathing, your heart is beating. You live through it. But when you keep this attitude that mercy is always with me, God is kind to me, so there's never a situation that God's not kind unless you reject his kindness. The quickest way to reject his kindness is out. Oh boy. Uh, his greatest pleasure is to be trusted. What grieves him most is to be doubted. You want to grieve God? Doubt him. Operate in fear. Live in this dimension of where you're going to call on him. We talked about this Thursday night, where you going to call on him when it's convenient for you. But living by faith means I don't just try faith out every I live by faith all the time.
Amen.
Wait a minute. The just shall live by faith. Hebrews 11:38. You so not try it out when you feel like it. It has to be a lifestyle where I know that God is with me. This is the edge the believer has over the rest of the world.
Oh God, just touch yourself.
Say, I got an edge, an edge over the rest of the the world. Oh boy, I need you to really believe that you, you are— when you walk with God, there's a kindness that's with you that other folk ain't got access to. You just gotta accept that loving kindness and understand that wickedness, shame— watch this— God's not going to allow wickedness to come bring shame in your life because of his person. Amen. Long as you embrace it.

But when you take control, working witchcraft against yourself— are y'all hearing this? We be talking about witches, binding the witches, and sometimes you the biggest witch because you working witchcraft on you. Witchcraft is simply manipulation and control that requires a medium. See, if a witch is burning a candle, that candle is a medium that she's using, or he's using, to cause whatever he's trying to do to do. But when you're manipulating self, you're using the situation— that's your medium— and you use that to feel powerful, to try to control it. This is— your life is a job for Jesus. Oh God, have mercy. Not no job for yourself. We get up trying— I'm just living my life, just trying to make it. Nobody gave you authority to do that. You should be living the life God created for you. All right, say, say, my life is a job for Jesus. Job for Jesus. So, so again, he said mercy and truth. That's right. God, here we go. This word truth, emeth, in Hebrew, emeth, it means stability. Watch this, stability in God's spoken word, cuz everything God says is true. So you got to learn to find your stability in what God says. See, a lot of time we have created stability in other things, systems of the world. Yes, sir. The world's way of living, the world's way of working. But God says, no, I don't want you to forsake what I say. Yes. Watch this, the word is so powerful. I mean, if you never get a prophecy You got 66 books of word that if you learn the word of God, you can build a stable life. If you stop scrolling long enough and liking folk pictures long enough and getting the word— the church I grew up in, a mother would break out in a song and just won't serve She would say, get in the word and stay there, be ready when Jesus come. Get in the word and stand there, be ready when Jesus come. You know what she was saying? Your stability, your life creates preparation. It happens in the word. The word has integrity. God can't lie. Are y'all hearing this? Watch this. A prophet can lie. We run from tent to tent trying to get a prophecy, but a prophet can't be a lying prophet. Okay, there are many in the Bible if you don't believe it, and there's a lot of them walking around now. You better get the word and know it for yourself. I'll never forget, I was in church one Sunday coming up as a teenager. A prophet came through through, and he was ministering everybody, and, uh, everybody just going crazy over the prophet. He got to this one mother, started prophesying to her. The mother just looked at him, and when he got through, he said— she said, 'Son, you're lying. That's not for me.' Oh Lord. And he was lying. And mother just called him out. Are y'all hearing this?
And she went on, she said, said, that's not for me because the Bible says— with it—
because he was talking to her about her sickness. Instead of encouraging her toward healing, he was prophesying this maintenance in the sickness. And she said, son, you're lying, it's not for me.
The Bible says with his stripes I'm healed.
She stood to what the word said. Are y'all hearing this? So somebody comes telling you something that don't align with the word of God, you need to shoot that down immediately. Ain't no prophet gonna come in here telling me that, uh, the Lord said your wife is my wife.
The devil is a liar and his grandchildren.
Glory to God. The devil is a liar. That ain't God. That's my wife. I have a covenant with her. Are y'all hearing this? As much as Pastor Jerry loved me, if I prophesied to him and told him, uh, leave Zion, she not the one for you, he gonna say— he gonna say, Apostle, I love you, but that ain't God. Because he knows what God said to him. Are y'all hearing me? All I'm saying is you cannot forsake what the word verse say. Amen. So instead of freaking out when you got a need, you better remember the word says my God shall supply all of my need according to his riches in glory. Amen. When you get sick, remember his word says he healed you already.
Okay, I'm gonna keep moving because we can't stop right there.
But, but notice he says don't forsake mercy and truth. Uh-huh. He gives you instruction. He said, bind them about your neck. Make mercy and truth a necklace. Yes. Wow. Glory. Just like this chain I got around my neck, it's not coming off unless I take it off. Yes. Unless I allow somebody to snatch it off. The reality is you got to put mercy and truth on like a necklace and keep it it on. Listen, I know this is around my neck, and honestly, I can't wait till service is over so I can get it off. Some people like that with mercy and truth. They only handle God in religious settings. They only talk about God when it's convenient to the culture. But in other times, we don't have mercy and truth on our neck. We— I was watching a podcast, my wife and I, the other day, and I'm like, okay, one of the men at the table, I know, saved. It's his podcast, he saved. But then you got some more folk at the table, a rapper, a billionaire, movie producer, and, um, multi-millionaire restaurant guy, all them at the table. They done served them the strong drink. One of the guys drunk said, this alcohol— he said, look, I can't drink this at your table, you're saved. So he put it down and said, bring me something else. Are y'all hearing this? Someone cussing at the table said, oh, I can't cuss. I mean, he— the person that's supposed to be saved says, no, you cuss at my table. This is an open forum. You can be open, you can be vulnerable, you can be yourself. I think we ought to be the light. And you got some men who are not saved trying to respect the fact that you're saved, right? Then you need to say, okay, that's good, thank you for that honor. And don't let them cuss at your table. Are y'all hearing this? You have to set a standard. Somebody said, I wonder who Apostle talking about.
I'mma tell you name Podcast. I ain't gonna call him now. I'm trying to get better. My wife is working on me. I'm trying to get better by calling people's names. What is it, the King's Table? Yes, just Google King's Table.
Yeah, that's Google King's Table. And the one that run the podcast, everything he do, he want to be worthy anyway. So in the name of God, yeah, okay, I need people that have influence to be a lot The world is looking at the church and says something strange about this. And this is why when they look into the house of God, not particularly this one, any church, the world is looking, saying, I don't know if I want to go in there because they act and look just like me, right? Oh boy, are y'all here? There's got to be a difference. Put Mercy and Truth on your neck and it'll remind you of who you are. It'll remind you that you're not a second-class citizen. It'll remind you of how you should be behaving and acting. Yes, sir. There's some things we should not do if we're children of God. Boy, I am so glad I'm at a point in my life where I have no desire for sin. Y'all ain't got to say nothing, cuz sin will make you stay longer than you want to stay, and it make you pay more than you want to pay. All right, but you have to make up in your mind, I'm not going to miss the mark. I want to please God and mercy and truth. When you understand the truth about God, you God's word, the truth about yourself, guess what you'll do?
You'll live for it.
You'll make a collective effort to do what's right. Trying to make an excuse to live how you want to live, that's why you're missing favor. But put mercy and truth on your neck like a necklace. All right, then he said, he said, don't stop there, I want the outside and inside. Then he said, write it on the table of your heart. Yes. So your heart decides— mind, will, emotion— your soul desires something. Mercy and Truth was there to say, no, look good, but you can't do it. I know you want it, but you can't have it. Y'all ain't got the same other. See, cuz even though you're saved, you still have desires. And anything that's not going away, you got to control it, cuz those desires ain't going away. Amen. But you got to mortify the members of your flesh. Amen. And write on the table of your heart, mercy and truth. And this becomes a thing where you're not legalistically living right, you're living right because of God's kindness. You, you look at it as a penitence or a recompense for what he's given you. All right, you said, Lord, you've been so good to me, you've been so kind to me by giving me new life, so what I'm gonna do is please you. I'm gonna please you with my mind. I'm gonna please you with my body. I'm gonna present my body a living sacrifice. Wait a minute, sacrifice ain't nothing— ain't something you don't want, right? Anything you sacrifice, you want to keep. Yeah. Okay, so after you get saved, there's some stuff you got to decide. I gotta put this down. Yeah, because it's a living— it's still alive.
Die.
Yes, but you got to kill it, cuz once you sacrifice it, it dies. What kills it is mercy and truth. Truth sets you free. The kindness of God makes me not want to do stuff that's going to displease him. All right. Oh God. Okay, someone said, I thought we was talking about favor. I'm trying to show you how to Trying to get it, because verse 4 says, so if you do this, you'll find favor and good understanding. Ah, con in Greek— watch, in Greek— in Hebrew, I'm sorry, con in Hebrew. And if favor is con, it means charm, elegance, excellence, acceptance.
Yeah.
God says you're going to have elegance and excellence. Yeah, you'll find God's endorsement of excellence and elegance in your life. Are y'all here? God never called us to mediocrity.
You got it aligned so you can have elegance.
Yes, stop living beneath your privilege. Yes, God wants to bless us so we can be a blessing. You can't be a blessing if you ain't blessed.
That's right. God wants to bless us where we can help people that need help.
He wants you to be an example of excellence. That's why I decided, no matter how small we are. Everything I do, I'm going to keep doing it in excellence. That's right. Amen. No matter what it costs me, we got to do it excellent. That's right. That's why I'm, I'm glad our singers rehearse so they can sing in excellence.

I'm like, brother, because he want the business, right? Some of them miss the pastor. That's right. But I'm telling you, this really happens. But he's always in the mortuary mode. Yeah, because he's looking for business. Even at the Hawks game, somebody go down, don't you pray, because they might I live. I got my folk on standby to come get the body. I said, Willie, come on, man. He said, let not mercy and truth forsake you. Yeah, bind them about your neck, write them on your heart, so you will find find favor. I want to really want you to see this. He says find favor. That means it's hidden. Yes, you can't find something that's not hiding, right? Oh boy, favor is hiding, and the map to find it is mercy in truth. Oh God, he says you'll find favor and good understanding.

Insight, understanding—
the Hebrew word for understanding means insight, prudence, wisdom.
Good is benah in Hebrew, which means profit.
So you'll get wisdom that will be profitable profitable to you if you have mercy and truth as a necklace and on your heart.
All this favor— remember I just told you in the beginning, learning is favor. So God says he'll lead you down paths where you can get profitable understanding, things that you learn that will help your bottom line. All right, because we got to advance the kid. So you don't need to be broke. Amen. Oh, y'all ain't got to say nothing. Amen. You need increase. I just told you earning comes through learning. I'm gonna say this and I'll keep moving. If you learn what a doctor knows, you can earn what he earns. You learn what a lawyer knows, you can earn what he Learn what Bill Gates knows, Jeff Bezos knows. You can earn what they earn, but you got to find where your favor lies by having mercy. You can't just go learning stuff that ain't connected to purpose. Well, Mr. Burns was praying about purpose this morning, and we need to be very clear that there is a unique wine a unique authenticity in us. Yeah, that's different than anybody else. Matter of fact, say that with me. Say, I'm a person of purpose. Say, the favor of God is on my life and my purpose. Say, God's plan will be revealed in me, through me, upon me, and I will profit and prosper and advance the kingdom in the world. If you believe that, give God praise and glory. Hallelujah. Proverbs 22:4, the Bible says, by humility and fear of the Lord are riches, honor, and life. So also favor comes through humility humility. You can't be arrogant and think favor is going to show up in your life. You got to humble yourself. You know, you ever met people who are arrogant and they got no reason to be? I mean, nobody has a reason, but then there's some folk that walk in pride. It ain't got nothing to be proud about. Sometimes even our children will operate in a prideful place toward us. Yes.
Well, maybe it's just my children I'm talking about.
They think because they're my child, yes, there's certain things they're entitled to and certain things I just all to do. No, not when you get grown. Okay, y'all ain't got to talk. Somebody say, oh, you always be parenting. Yeah, I agree, you going to always lead them. But there, there are some things you got to do in humility to show you're worthy of what I have to give as a father.
That's right.
Come on now, y'all ain't got to talk to me. That's called the spirit of entitlement. And many times our children walk in entitlement. If you're, if you're 21, 22 years old and you're, you're out on your own, you're not entitled to nothing when it comes to me. Y'all ain't got to talk to me. I'm talking about my children, not yours. Y'all can smile.
They're my children. Glory to God.
But sometimes I need them to understand, you ain't got no money. I got money, you don't have no money. You can't, you can't just think just because I'm your daddy you're entitled, but you don't show up to connect to nothing that connects to your inheritance. The Bible said, train up a child the way they should go, when they're old they will not Daddy's part. So we've done our part, trained them up, but we can't make them do nothing other than grow. But you would think you got enough sense if you need something from me to at least say, I'm here, Daddy, to help you build my inheritance. Show up in the building to help do ministry. Show up at the office to help do business. Glory to God. But when you make a decision to extract manipulate yourself, you working on getting roped all the way out my wheel. They don't like when I say that, but it's gonna happen if they don't do right. Because a good man leave inheritance to his children's children, right? But a profitable man is wise. So maybe my grandbabies will get it. Yeah, well, we're just holding the trust so they get own it though, cuz these grown ones ain't making it so far, cuz it's pride. But the Bible said by humility and reverential fear— oh my God— are riches, honor, and life. Yes. So what I'm going to leave you riches, honor, and life, and you have no humility and reverence toward what I do and what I'm doing to leave you that. That's heavy, I know, cuz entitlement says you supposed to leave. No. And you sometimes we feel like that about God. Okay, I'm saved, God, you supposed to bless me. Yeah, no, you're supposed to do your part. You got to line yourself up and be Humble. Put mercy and truth around your neck and on your heart and operate in obedience. Amen. Amen. Go to Proverbs 10:4. What kind of a church is this?

Hebrews— I'm sorry, Proverbs 10:4. The Bible said, he becometh poor that deals with a slack hand. Now let's talk about that a minute. Glory to God. Say a slack hand.
That's a lazy, deceitful, treacherous trust hand. So when you deal with people who are lazy and deceitful, he said poverty is going to be your portion. My Lord, watch this.
Even if it looks good at the door, huh, if they have wickedness and deceit in their heart, there was no good that can come out of that for you. That's why you got to watch covenants you make with people, partnerships you connect, cuz everybody can't pour into who God has made you. Everybody can't connect with your dream. Watch this. The reality is your dream is an anointed dream. It's a heavenly dream. That comes from God. Woo! So everybody cannot flow with you. So you can't put your hand in the hand of someone in covenant who's not aligned. How can two walk together except they agree? How can you walk with someone that has no alignment with what God has said to you?

I'm so glad, uh, today I celebrate 6 years of marriage to my wife. I love her so much. I'm so glad that 7 years ago I found her.
Are y'all hearing it? Because in her heart she wants what I want. She desires life to look the way I desire to look. So what we do is she strengthens me in areas I'm weak. Yeah, I strengthen her in areas she's weak. Yeah. And we come together in covenant to build what God has told us to do, whether it's in ministry or business. The reality is, if I'd have married somebody that didn't have her heart, I wouldn't be able to do I do? I will be operating from a position of stress and pressure trying to accomplish the will of God. You got to have somebody in your corner. Are y'all hearing this? That wants to see you win, that wants to see you make it. You cannot align with a slack hand, some old lazy person that shows up in your life and all they want is for you to give them something. The devil is a liar. You need— if you didn't come to the relationship to give, you came to take. Y'all ain't got to say nothing to me here. I'm gonna say it again. If you didn't come to give, you came to take. And you got to make up in your mind, I came to bring value, I came to help build, I came to help expand, I came to help you be better. You need people that's carrying something. That's gonna make you better. Are y'all hearing this? Every leader needs people around them that has their heart, right, that wants to see them flourish. You can't have people around you planning a coup. Y'all are talking to me here. Planning an escape, planning to set up camp. I've been through that, done that. You got to understand, I thank God for the people that are around me me now. People that, even if it ain't but 7, 8 of them, I thank God for them because I know they love me. I know they're aligned with my heart. You need people who want to see you win. Amen. Amen. Cuz you know what? Amen. When you help someone else get to the top, yes, hallelujah, they'll never forget you. Y'all ain't got to talk to me here. You got to position yourself to push others up so they can pull you up. And that's what we do for one another. We pull each other up and make each other better.
So favor partners with faithful effort. Are y'all hearing this?
Watch it. He said, but the hand of the diligent makes rich. So you got to— you got to get with some diligent folk. The Bible said the diligent soul makes fat, fat rich, which means you you lack nothing. Nothing is broken, nothing is missing. God said, I want to fill your life completely with everything you need. Somebody shout, complete me, God! You need to be around some diligent folk, some folk that's got a mind to work, some folk that want the dream for themselves as well as you. Listen, this thing cannot be done in a corner. It cannot be done alone. I feel like preaching. Just look at somebody and say, the diligent hand makes rich. Listen, I'm telling you right now, God don't want you broke. Glory to the name of God. He don't want you struggling. God wants you rich. That's what the— this word rich is. Rich, it literally in Hebrew means overwhelmed. Asha in Hebrew, overwhelmed with money and resources. Just say that with me. Say, God wants me overwhelmed with money and resources. The reality is— I got to stop, I could keep teaching this— but the reality is, in his favor is life. Matter of fact, the Bible says in Psalm 35, oh glory to the name of God, his anger endureth for a moment. Glory to God. Some of people still walking around thinking that God is angry at them, but the Bible said God only anger for a moment, but in his favor, oh my God, is life. Now just touch yourself and say, God wants me to live. The word life there in the Hebrew word is the same word asha. He wants me to live in abundance. He wants me to live as a resource. He wants me to be resourceful. Just say that, woman. Say, I am resourceful. I really didn't mean to do this, but, but, but nudge somebody and say, the Lord wants to give me life. I'm telling you right now, glory to God, you got to learn to pursue faith. You've got to seek God's face. You gotta seek God's heart and not his hand. When you go after his face and after his heart, God will release faith. He'll open new doors, he'll make new ways. I know, like, it keeps coming back to me, Psalm 35. Oh God, his anger endures for a moment. I don't know if this is for somebody watching or somebody in here. You're mad at God, you're bitter at God, but God said, my anger is only for a moment, in my favor is life. I need you to grab that abundance, resources, wealth, riches. I need you to get it. God don't want you to be the underdog. He don't want you begging. He wants to to make you rich. For the blessing of the Lord, it makes rich and adds no sorrow. Same word, Asher, in Hebrew. I'd like the church to be able to to take care of the bills on their own without me. My wife told y'all last week, I always jump in. I'm gonna always give and participate in giving. But even when we come short, I'm gonna always do what I got to do. But I just believe that there's a group watching and a group in this room that's going to make sure we don't come short. So I'm going— I'm not going to tell you to stand up, get in the line. I'm gonna trust your integrity. Say integrity. That means that you're honest. Glory to God. So I want you to get to see— there was a lot of things going on in the city this week. Uh, I think Sarah Jakes was at State Farm, and I know they was raising all kind of money down there, and folk probably weren't saying nothing every time they called a $1,000 line. I'm simply asking you today to help us do what we need to do. I need every person that can, that will, make a sacrifice up and above your tithe. Your tithe, the 10th, is holy unto God. That's not yours anyway, it belongs to him. But your seed is your free will giving. It's God's exchange system between heaven and earth. Again, nothing leaves heaven until something leaves earth. Nothing leaves heaven until something leaves earth. So I need you to trust God. And if you believe this ministry is good ground, and I know it is, I want you to be obedient and make a sacrifice. Glory to God. You know, a lot of times Sometimes this is the hardest thing. People don't realize it for ministers, especially a preacher like me, because I don't like to ask you, but I have to obey God. Because whenever I ask you again, God never talks to you about the seed unless there's a future on his mind. He has something he wants to do with this seed, but it's tough sometimes for me. It leaves your hand but not your life. It moves into your future waiting for you to arrive. And when you get there, it's going to be multiplied. We thank you that you shall meet us at the point of our need in our giving today. We thank you that this church church doesn't lack a thing, neither does it have a care, but all of our needs are met and supplied according to your word. On tomorrow night, it is scheduled for us to have our leadership training. We will meet tomorrow night at 7 o'clock via Zoom, all leaders, but we won't do class tomorrow night. I want to just have a meeting with you guys. It's very important. I want to share some things that's in my heart that the Holy Spirit gave while I was away on vacation. So I need every leader, if you called for leadership, to be on the Zoom on Monday night. Amen. Amen. Amen. All right, then on Tuesday, remember, we're fasting. We fast from midnight to 3 PM. So that's 11:59 Monday to 3 PM on Tuesday. Fast. No food, water only till 3 PM. Meet us for prayer at 5 AM. I'll be praying online. We'll be streaming on all the platforms— YouTube, Facebook. So join us for prayer on Tuesday at 5. Then on Thursday night— somebody Thursday night? Thursday night we have our midweek experience. Now I know some of y'all like to stay be at home on Thursday. But if I'm coming over here on Thursday, that means I want you to come too. Amen. Amen. Something that happens when we gather corporately, it doesn't happen online. So I'm asking you kindly to be in the building. I don't mind preaching to the chairs, but I would rather preach to you.

I don't have to come over here to do live. So God has instructed us in this season to have in-person service on Thursday night. It's a sacrifice, I know, but there's a blessing in sacrifice. I think COVID spoiled some of us. There's a time I was in church every single day. I went to church Sunday morning, Sunday night, Monday Monday night we had prayer meeting, Tuesday night Bible study, Wednesday night choir rehearsal, Thursday night men's meeting, Friday night YPWW. Saturday we came back for prayer again and we were back at church on Sunday. Some of y'all could have grew up in the church I grew up in, and let you not beat up, you would get beat down over the pulpit, talked about.
Y'all ain't got to say much. But it taught me accountability.
Amen. And all I'm asking for you, come spend a couple of hours with me on Thursday nights. I promise you it's gonna bless you if you make the sacrifice and bring somebody with you. There are people that can't visit the church on Sunday that will come with you on Thursday if you invite them.

All right, so I need y'all to do that. So So this Thursday we'll be here in the building. Prayer begins at 7 o'clock. We pray from 7 to 8, and then we teach the word from 8 to 9, and we go home. Amen. So please come and be a part of that. A very special announcement for this month. I want you to put these dates in your calendar: August 29th, 30th, and 31st. August 29th through the 31st, we're having what the Holy Spirit has commissioned as Soul Winners Weekend. And that one soul that got saved today just confirmed for me that I heard from God. God spoke to me when I was in Florida. He said, son, the harvest for Rhonda Church Atlanta is coming. He said, I'm going to do something for that church that I have not done in many churches. I'm going to bring you new souls in this hour, but we got to be equipped to get them. This weekend is going to equip us. We're going to start that Friday night, that Saturday during the day, we're going to have some training sessions that are going to be phenomenal to teach you how to win souls. We're going to talk about power evangelism, how to use your gifts in the marketplace to actually bring people to God. Amen. How the gifts of the Spirit are not designed for the church only. If you have to give a prophecy, just think how well that works. You start prophesying to a son. We're going to talk about how to use that in the marketplace.
Amen. Amen. So it's going to be a real good weekend.
We're going to serve you some lunch. Uh, the registration information is going to be here on Thursday, so you can, so you can register to reserve your spot. This place ain't that big. When we start running Facebook ads, just like every meeting we have, people gonna register. So I want you guys to register first. Amen. We're gonna feed you Saturday, we're gonna teach you. We'll have a service Friday night, Saturday during the day we'll have 3 sessions, we'll have a Saturday night service. We're gonna close, we're gonna come back Sunday morning, we're gonna believe God for harvest. Souls is going to come in and get saved. We got some great speakers. Uh, Apostle Michelle Sears is going to be with us, and Apostle Tony Hill is going to be with us, and myself. We're going to have a great time in the Lord. Amen. So put those dates in the calendar. It's going to be a good weekend. Amen.
All right, y'all ain't saying it with too much enthusiasm. Amen.
That's a lost word in the church, evangelism. People don't want to win souls. They think We supposed to just come to church, jump, shout, worship, speak in tongues, and nobody ever get saved? What are we doing this for if nobody gets born again? So we got to be trained to go into the world and preach the gospel. Amen. So that's what that weekend is.
So all your family members you've been complaining about, right? Y'all hear this?
Stop complaining about them and what what they doing and bring them to church where they can get saved, cuz we're believing God for a super harvest that weekend. Amen.

I think collectively Felicia and I have about 60 years of marriage collectively together. And we've been married 6 years, but collectively we got a lot of time with other folk. Amen.
