The Power of Vision, Part 2: Vision & Assignment | Dr. Mike Woods | Live From Cairo Georgia

Dr. Mike Woods argues that believers need a clear vision and specific assignment from God to move beyond entertainment-focused church and into purpose-driven action. He uses his own business ventures and the statistic that 3% of Americans control wealth to urge listeners to become entrepreneurs, own property, and deploy professionals across sectors for God's kingdom.

Thank you for another opportunity to come into your house and share your word. Thank you for these blessed people, your people. And Father, I pray that you would anoint every ear to hear what the Spirit would say to the church. Father, do something unusual in this place, something man cannot do. Saturate the walls, charge the atmosphere. Dear God, let your Shekinah glory be revealed. God, let the wind and the fire of God blow through this place. God, let fire fall and let wind blow. God, sit on us in this room like you sat on them on the day of Pentecost. Sit until we're blessed. Sit on us until we're healed. Sit until we're delivered. Sit until we're transformed. Sit until life is better. Sit until the burden is removed and the yoke is destroyed. Cast the devil out of the mind. Break down every stubborn will. And Father, we say yes, Lord. Yes to your will. Yes to your way. What you desire, we'll do. Have your way in this very room. Father, we decree— put some pressure in that hand. Father, we pray for our brother. We pray for our sister. And we decree and declare, God, that they're going to be blessed tonight. And Father, that your word will be transformative for them. Bless their children, bless their family, bless their finances, bless them in their pursuit of life. God, God, in the name of Jesus, may they never be the same again. And we give you glory for it now. Father, let your word go out in such a way that the weak will leave saying, I'm strong. And the poor will leave saying, 'I'm rich.' The doubter will leave with faith. And Father, let vision come alive in us. Let vision become a real reality in our life. And we'll give you praise for that now, in Jesus' name. Amen. And thanks be to God. Listen, if you love God tonight, just clap your hands really, really good. Put those hands together. Remember I told you this morning That means you're pulling stuff together in the heavenlies. Come on, while you're clapping, you're pulling your money together, you're pulling your healing together, you're pulling heaven to earth. Come on, clap till you feel that. Clap till he opens the door. Clap till he makes a way. Clap to it. There's a new faith in your life. Come on, clap your hands on me, people. Come on, clap your hands. Come on, pull it together, pull it together. The next time you feel like you're depressed, just go to clapping and tell God thank you. Just pull it together. We clap our hands and say thank you. Come on, we clap our hands and say thank you. Thank you. Bless you, God, and we give you praise. Before you sit, just look at somebody and tell them, God's about to do. Come on, tell them, God's about to do. What you thought could never be done. Come on, if you believe that, praise him again before you sit. Believe it or not, no matter what it looks like, I believe that we're in a season of possibilities and that anything is possible. Glory, glory. Matter of fact, the Bible already gave us the promise that all things are possible to them that believe. Glory to— and is there anything too hard for God? Nothing. There's nothing he cannot do. Glory to God. Hallelujah. I want to give honor again to the angels of this house, uh, Apostle Frank and Apostle Darlene Britson. Come on, give God praise for your leaders. Glory to the name of God, thank God for them. Uh, we sat down, glory to God, and ate really good. And I think it was a little too much because that's why we were so late. Glory to God. But we ate well today. God bless the cook. There she is right there. Y'all give God praise for the hands that prepared that food today. Glory to God. Hallelujah, God is good. You may be seated. I want to jump right into this too. My beautiful wife tonight, I love her with the love of the Lord. Amen. I'm telling you, I'm nothing without her. Amen. When God says he'll give you a help meet, you know, it's— you have to get to a point where you understand that when you marry, you marry for purpose. Yes, Lord. The romance is great, and I appreciate God for that, but you— once you get past that, you need some purpose, and you need someone in your life that, Lord, can see who you are, has a revelation of who you are. Yes, Lord. You don't ever want to be married to anyone to whom you have not been revealed, because where there's no revelation, there's always violation. If people have not— listen, I'm not talking about knowing one another by the flesh. If you, if you don't know me by the Spirit, you're gonna violate me. You don't know how to honor me. You know how to deal with me. But when you, you know my ups, my downs, you know my purpose, you know God's plans, you know how to handle me. And watch this, you know how to help me. But it has to be revealed. Yes, Lord. Glory to God. Most people look for hips. Tips, fingertips, and all that stuff, man. You better get you some purpose. Glory to God. Hallelujah. Because purpose is the key to fulfillment. Yes, Lord. I'll say that again. Purpose is the key to fulfillment. Yes, Lord. See, if, if you're, if you're in the purpose of God, you will be fulfilled all the time. Yes, Lord. Yes, Lord. I wake up, Mary Taylor, fulfilled because I'm in purpose. Glory to the name of God. And guess what? I don't care how fine it is, I don't care who show up, they cannot fulfill me because I have found purpose. Yeah, glory to God. And, and you know, I listen to my wife talk to the ladies a lot. She tell you, you really want a husband, a good husband, first of all, stop looking for one. And how you get purpose is you hide in purpose. The Bible said he that finds a wife, you can't find nothing not hidden. That's right. So if you ain't hiding, you're not gonna be found. And, and she talks to the ladies, tell me I was hiding. She was hiding what God was dealing with her to do with her life, and I found her there. And when the man is praying, he'll find your purpose. Amen. Amen. So I'm grateful for her. I love you, dear. Thank you for being in my life. Thank you for saying yes. Yes, Lord. When I proposed, glory to God, because you could have said no. Glory to God. But she said yes, and I'm grateful. Glory to God. I want to, uh, jump right back into this, um, tonight on vision. This morning we started it, and I didn't even scratch the surface But, uh, if you wasn't here this morning, I want— and if you was here, I want to just review something really quick. And let me make this disclaimer really quick, um, my goal here is not to entertain you. Church is, uh, way too entertaining sometimes. Yes, Lord. And a lot of times we never accomplish what we're supposed to accomplish in the kingdom. Yes, God. Cuz when we come to church, we get entertained well, yes, Lord, uh, but we don't get empowered. So my goal is not entertainment, my goal is empowerment, yes, Lord, my goal is education, yes, God. You know, the Bible says we'll be ever learning and coming into the knowledge of truth. I can tune up, I can hoop, I can do all of that, but that's not my interest tonight. Yes, Lord, my interest is making sure that I make a deposit again that you can leave this building with and use in the world. Yes, Lord. See, I believe, and, and, and I might be wrong, but this is my core belief, that God is more desiring us to show up right in the world than he does in church. I believe when we come in here, this is Kingdom University. We should be able to get taught in a way that we can be empowered to show up out there, and so that dominion can really happen. See, Genesis 1:28— name of our church is Rhoda Church. The word dominion, um, and my whole life for 35 years has been centered around this dominion idea. The word dominion is raw in Hebrew, and it means to have full authority. Listen, to have full control. But it's hard for us to have full authority, full control, if we don't know how to do that. And then we don't understand really that we're supposed to be in charge. Touch yourself, say, I'm supposed to be in charge. I'm supposed to be in charge. Now let me share a quick fact with you, and we'll get into this. I'm not gonna be long, I just sound like it, I promise you. 97% of all Americans work for the other 3%. So that means 3% of America controls the wealth. Yes, brother. Are you hearing this? Let me take you deeper. Of the 3%, about 0.79% are born again. So the heathens control the wealth, but we're supposed to have dominion. But we're employees, and we should be deployed and not employed. All right, man, we should be hiring people rather than them hiring us. Yes, Lord. We should be buying property, developing communities, building businesses, building schools. We should be operating in our Dominion purpose. Dominion is not Plan B, it's still Plan A. Yes, Lord. We just gotta do it, and we can't jump, shout, speak in tongues over that. When we get through jumping, shouting, speaking in tongues, spitting more bubbles, we gotta show up. I'm just saying, we gotta get some church folks that's 3 percenters. I'm so glad I signed my own check. I'm so glad I don't have to depend on tithes and offerings. This time in life, I depended on the offering to live. Y'all ain't got to say nothing. I was full-time in ministry. I was traveling all over this country doing revivals, and if people didn't give I was jacked up, but I was on the plane coming back from San Diego, California one year, and there was a Forbes magazine that somebody left in the pocket. I picked it up, and on the front of the magazine it said, it's time to take control of your finances. Yes, Lord. Because this is a real story. That meeting I was doing in San Diego, I would do it every year for Bishop George Dallas McKinney. Uh, God bless his soul. He's gone on to be with the Lord. He's one of the general board members, uh, for 50 years in Church of God in Christ. He was a great man, and he would have me come out every single year. For about 10 years, I was going to preach for Bishop McKinney, and I would preach 7 days to 15, 16 services in 7 days. Sometimes we do on Sundays, we would do 3 services, and during the week we do 2 services, 12 noon and the revival at night. We won't do that kind of church no more. COVID killed church. I'm telling you, we gotta get— we gotta take it back. Glory to God. But anyway, I would go out there— this is a true story— my whole year would be based in the finances I would get in that meeting. I would leave that meeting sometime with $60,000, $75,000, $80,000 they would give to me as seed gifts. Yes. Well, this particular year, I'm on the plane thinking like, oh my God, this, this meeting sets the standard for my finances for the year. So when I ain't moving like I want to move, I got some money in the bank to kind of live through. I picked up that magazine. God said, you got $8,700 in your pocket. It's time to take control of your finances. Yes, Lord. That's when I started my first company. I started a company called Runner Customs. It was a custom clothing company, a tailor. We tailored suits, shirts, jeans, everything. Created a digital concept, a tech concept to that company. And 6 years later, 7 years later, we were able to have an exit strategy and sell the technology to a company called iTailor Now, who is making millions of dollars with our tech that we sold them. No, we got a good price for it. Glory to God. But I had to take control so I wasn't depending on people so I could become a 3%. And I'm saying, if God has no respect of person— how many have the Holy Ghost? Holy Ghost-filled people, raise your hand. With the evidence, speaking in tongues. It's a few of y'all. If you don't have it, we're gonna help you these next few days. Stay with us. But if you have the Holy Ghost, that's God in you. Yes, Lord. So you are a creator because you have the Holy Spirit. Yes, Lord. And you should be able to create like he creates. I'm already preaching. And that's one of the confessions I make every day. You should do it. I'm a creator because God lives in me. Yes, Lord. Yes, Lord. I'm talking about for real. This thing didn't just come for you to speak in tongues. Glory, glory. It came for you to create something. Yes, Lord. To do something authentic, something vintage, something unique. Heathens should be just creating Apple Watches and all this tech that's being created, and apps, and building computers, and AI. Where the saints at in that, that say the Creator lives in you? Yes, Lord. My God, my God. I'm just saying. And look, it ain't just y'all. I talk like this everywhere I go, 'cause I understand my purpose in the body is to be— I understand the body of Christ is extremely constipated spiritually. Because we get fed a whole lot in church, YouTube, Facebook Lives, Reels. We just— we feed every day, following everybody. We're constipated. Constipation means that you stop. Y'all listen, y'all, the kind of food y'all cook— don't look at me like that. Y'all know what that is. It means it's hard to get it out. Watch this. Revelation. Because apostles— the apostles can teach you revelation on revelation, but if you don't make application of that revelation, it leads to constipation. So if you don't make application of what they're teaching, you're going to be stuck. So my role in the body is to be a spiritual laxative. I'm fiber. My job is to get the body moving with all we know, with the God that's in us, to get us to show up in the world so we can change the regions that we live in. Amen. So this morning we start talking about the power of vision. We're going to talk about that again because you really cannot have dominion. Because really and truly, you were created to dominate. Genesis 1:28 tells you that. Be fruitful, multiply, replenish the earth, subdue it, and have dominion. That's the first word God gave mankind. He didn't say run. He didn't say let it flow. He said speak in tongues. He said dominate. Are y'all hearing this? I'm not disdaining none of that because I do all of that. But what I am saying, we need balance. And you were created to dominate, but you can't dominate without a vision of domination. If you don't first believe that God— and remember, we got— this is one of the things, if you missed this this morning I want you to get it, write it down. Vision is God's optimal reality for your future. It's what God sees as your optimized life. It's what God has already planned for you. Yes, Lord. Yes, Lord. Are y'all hearing me? Touch yourself and say, God's already planned some things for my life, some things for my life that I need to adhere to and see come to pass. Go to Jeremiah 1:5. Let me just start here because I want to show you that before you were ever born, God had a plan. He had an idea. Glory to God, that was a big idea that he wants you to fulfill. Yes, Lord. Jeremiah 1:5. Listen to this. It says, before I formed thee in the belly— I love this— yetzar is the word formed, which means before you became a living chromosome, before you had a body, before you had a heart, liver, lungs, a brain, a respiratory system, before you had any of that, God said, before you were formed with a physical body. Watch what he says. He says, I knew you. He says, I knew you. Yes, yes. The word knew is yada, Y-A-D-A, which means he hung out with you, he spent time with you. He was intimate with you, and intimacy is not sex. Ask any woman, they'll tell you intimacy is not sex. Most men think intimacy means sex, but intimacy is not sex. I just think that intimacy means intimacy, which means I, as a man, I have to open myself up to my wife. Yes, Lord. And let her see every part of me, even the parts that are egotistically guarded. I have to be able to be vulnerable in front of her so that she'll feel safe in my total reality. God says, before you were breathing and had a heartbeat Me and you hung out. I knew some things about you. Watch this. I placed some things inside of you. I put some things in your spiritual DNA. Watch this. I impregnated your spirit with a purpose and a destiny that you were supposed to deliver on Earth. Yes, Lord. Oh God, matter of fact, if you ain't scared, say I'm pregnant and I know who the daddy is. I know who the daddy is. I need you to understand, cuz there's some people that don't know. They need more, glory to God, to tell them who the daddy is. But I'm telling you right now, there's a dream, there's a purpose that's down in my belly that God the Father is the daddy of— he knew you, so you ain't no mistake, ain't no oops. You're supposed to be here. Touch yourself, say, I'm supposed to be here. I'm supposed— I don't care how you got here, you're supposed to be here because you're God's delivery system in the earth. So when he knew you, he put a dominion purpose in me. Before I formed you in the belly, I knew you. And before you came out of the womb— wait a minute— I sanctified you. Glory! Now, not what the old church taught sanctification was. My dad was a pastor. My granddaddy was a fireball, hellfire and brimstone preacher. So I grew up in that strict, structural, religious, legalistic holiness. I appreciate it because it taught me right from wrong. It taught me how to pray. It taught me to honor holiness and the ways of God. But here's what I learned: sanctification is not a long dress. Y'all gotta talk to me. It's not no makeup. And no earrings and no red fingernail polish and your head tied up and you had a dolly on it or something. That's, that's not sanctification. Listen, I learned that it's just as much hell because God delivered me from being a hoe. So I learned there was just as much hell under a long dress as it was a short dress. Okay, okay. It just took the woman in the long dress a little longer to bend down and pull hers up. But if she really wasn't sanctified in her heart, she was worse than the one with the short dress. Glory, glory. I grew up in church, trust me. Can I tell you something? The reality is sanctification means that before you do one thing— watch this— before you came out of the womb, before you put on a dress, put on lipstick, before you knew you were male or female, God said, I set you apart. Yes. For a particular work. That's what sanctification is. It means that you have been set aside for a specific assignment. Yes, Lord. I'm trying to help you understand you're special, and you have been set aside for a specific assignment. Yes, Lord. A kingdom assignment that will lead you into a space where you can actually dominate. And every assignment— God, let me just teach this like this. Yeah, I'll teach it like that, Holy Ghost. Because you're sanctified for a sign, not to prove you're holier than the next person. Because you can be holy than the next person and be doing nothing. Are y'all hearing this? Holiness will get you to heaven, but doing nothing won't get you heaven on earth. Yes, Lord. All right. Oh boy, I don't know about you, I don't want to just go to heaven to experience heaven. I want to experience heaven every day. And I discovered the way I do that, heaven comes down to me And I can have heaven on earth when I operate in obedience to my assignment. So on every assignment, watch this, you have number one, people. You have people that that assignment is connected to. Yes, Lord, I believe that. So before you came out of the belly, God had already prepared the people that your assignment was supposed to affect. Yes. Can I share something with you? Everybody's assignment is not to hold this, right? Right. See, there's a problem with the church. Everybody want this. Reality is, I, I wish sometimes I can give it back. Y'all ain't got to say nothing, because there's too much hell that comes with this sometimes that I have to endure to be me. So sometimes I wish I could turn this over to somebody else. You got people that will kill people and cutthroat and lie and run people down because they want to hold this. Yes, sir. But can I tell you something? This assignment right here is only to train the ones that are in the seats to go out there and do the assignment that they were created and sanctified to perform. Yes, Lord. Amen. Because there's a people that's waiting on you. To show up in Cairo, in Thomasville, and Tallahassee, and all these cities around here. Tell him, all these cities around here, there are people that need you to be a light. Yes, Lord. That need you to walk in your assignment so they can see that the church is more than just a building where we go and preach and we go and have good church, but the church really changes our life. So you've been sanctified for people that's always already waiting on you. Secondly, in every assignment— watch this— because with people come problems. So in every assignment there's also problems. Oh God, I don't know, you get more than two people in the room, Apostle, it's a setup for a problem. Yes, Lord. Yes, Lord. Because people by nature are humanly competitive, and people by nature many times do not really want to see someone else succeed. So it brings problems. As Cain and Abel. Glory to God, the man killed his brother over worship. That's what it was all just because— glory to the name of God— Abel worshiped in the way he was supposed to. Cain says, no, what, this is a problem for me? You, you outdoing me, let me kill you. Here's the thing, we read it this morning that the thoughts that God have for us are thoughts of peace. So no matter what problems people try to bring to me or how they step to you, you got to understand that the presence of God is available to assist you. Glory, glory! Just touch yourself, say, he's here to assist me. I need you to understand, you're not in this sanctified place alone. Wait a minute, he said, then I also ordained you Yes, Lord. A prophet. Yes, God. To the nation. This is indicative of the fact yours may not be prophet, but everybody has an office, has a position, has a place of authority that God has ordered their life to. This specifically is Jeremiah, but you have an ordination over your life. And again, it may not be to hold it. Some of you want to hold this and you're supposed to own a chain of hair salons and become a multimillionaire. Y'all ain't got to say nothing. Some of you want to hold this and you're supposed to be a lawyer. You want this and you're supposed to be an MD. Listen, we cannot reap a harvest from a field where we have not sown. Amen. I'm gonna say it over here, that's tweetable. You cannot reap a harvest from a field where you don't sow. So if we're to take dominion in the medical field, then the body of Christ needs to sow doctors into the medical field. We can't reap a harvest right there, become 3 percenters, if we don't deploy doctors. We can't— we Baharis in the tech space, and we don't deploy techies and train our children how to code. Y'all ain't got to talk to me here. We must understand that the footprint that we leave comes through planting ourselves in the world. In our ordination. A prophet to the nations, ethnos, which means people. Your assignment is to people, and again, with people comes problems. But also, thirdly, in every assignment— listen to this— there are places. Every assignment has a geography. There's a place you go to fulfill that assignment. Oh boy, you can be the best at what you do, but in the wrong place, nobody never be affected by it. Nobody never know it. But you got to get in the right places. Are y'all hearing this? Yeah. So you got to get a God vision for your assignment, and you got to know where you belong. That's true. There are some places in my assignment God has taken me, I ain't never got to go back, but I'm glad I went because it built character in me. Yes, Lord, it made me the man I am today. Glory. I want to tell you, I got a church, I got churches I cover in Mississippi, and I, look, I had to obey God last year and start another church in Mississippi. Yes, Lord. I love Missy, my wife. I won't go back there, but I had to obey God. But I understand why, because one of my spiritual daughters who was connected to me in the first church, an inheritance that had to come through me to her was left undone. So in the spirit and in the natural, I had to go plant that church so she could take it over. Y'all ain't got to say nothing. But do you realize every Saturday I was driving down that road, I'm like, Satan, the Lord rebuke you. What in the world am I doing? But every assignment has a place. Glory, glory. And you got to be willing to embrace the places you need to go to fulfill the assignment on your life. Yes, Lord. Yes, Lord. There are people who are scared to move because they don't understand places. I was prophesying to the man of God. He came from this morning He came from Atlanta back to Cairo. Yes. And this, this county. Yes. Are y'all hearing that? He came from big city and because God told him to come home, but his blessing is in this place. Yes, Lord. Are y'all hearing this? Every assignment— people, problems, places— every assignment also has particular Yes, Lord. So God gives you the specifics. He's a God of specificity. You don't miss. He's accurate. So when God starts talking to you about sanctification in an assignment or in a vision, he's going to give you the specifics on how to accomplish that. Oh my God, today I thank God for the Pacific. For the particulars. The Bible said let everything done be done decent and in order. The word decent there in Greek deals with the idea that everything must be done according to God's pattern. It's out of order if it's not patterned through his mind. So he says let everything we do be done decently through his pattern. You can't choose to do a God assignment the way you want to do it. Yes, Lord. Watch this. You're not your own. You're bought with a price. I mean, I'm grown, I can do what I want to do. No, when you come to the Father, you, you have to come childlike. When it comes to the kingdom, the Bible said, suffer not the little children, for such is the kingdom Glory, glory. So when you come before the King, you got to come childlike. No matter how old you are, he's older. He made you. He's your daddy. Matter of fact, he created heaven and earth. So you have to surrender all to him. All to thee, my blessed Savior, all to thee I freely give. I will love and ever trust you. In your presence daily, Leo, I surrender all. This question: is your all on the altar? Yes. Is your all surrendered? The only way you get the pattern is you have to yield yourself. You have to mortify yourself. Paul said like this: mortify the members of your flesh daily. The old preacher took that and said, mortify your flesh, don't fornicate. And listen, those things are right, but you got to mortify that stinking thinking too. Glory, glory! You got to mortify doubt. Yes, Lord! You got to mortify fear. And you got to put those things together because watch this, faith and fear are inept to each other. Go to Hebrews 11:6. Let's just teach this. Glory to God. Go to Hebrews 11:6. Well, I hope y'all getting something out of this. Hallelujah. Say, I'm here on assignment. That was about 2 people. Say, I'm here on assignment. Thank you, thank you so kindly. Also, one, watch this. So in order for me to do what I've been sanctified to do, the Bible says without what? Without faith, it's impossible to please God. So What pleases God is vision, his optimal reality for your future. You cannot obtain that if you don't have faith. You can't have faith and fear at the same time. Oh boy, faith and fear are inept to each other. They can't even be in the same room. Either you have faith or you have fear. You cannot occupy both spaces at the same time. See, the old preacher taught us that pleasing God again was just keeping our flesh under subjection, living right. I agree, but if you had enough faith to keep your pants up— are y'all hearing this?— and not cuss, not lie, not drink, not steal, Wonderful. It took faith to trust the God you couldn't see, to obey that. But bringing pleasure to God by showing up in the world with a vision, showing up to dominate, is another dimension of trust. Watch this. Faith is pistis in Greek. It means to be totally reliant, totally confident. Totally dependent upon. Yes, Lord. Yes, Lord. Wait a minute. It means to be totally reliant, totally confident, and totally dependent upon what you cannot see. It means to leave what you can see. Yes, Lord. Yes, Lord. What you do rely on, what you do depend on, what you do trust in. Glory, glory. Leave what you can see. For what you cannot see. Oh boy, I was preaching a few years ago, several years ago, probably about 10 years ago now, um, in Pittsburgh at Archie Dennis Church. And I was sitting there waiting to preach, and the lady got up to testify. And when she was testifying, I was like, whoa, that's faith right there, because the stuff she was saying she walked away from to trust God I was like, that's faith. And so she started saying— she— let me just tell you what she said. She said— she got to say— she said, I thank God I'm saved, I love God, and I'm gonna serve him all my life. She said, my old boyfriend from college— she said, I got a call from him last week, and she said, he told me he just signed a $10.5 million 2-year deal with the Pittsburgh Pirates. Glory, glory, glory! And we always talked about that he would make a lot of money. He always told me the things that he would do for me. And she said, no doubt he loves me. Yes, Lord. She said, but I got one problem. He never fell in love with my God. She said, this man was my first. He was an apple of my eye. That's on the phone. He told me, he said, look, I want to share this blessing with you, is what she said. He said, she said, he said, because I love you, I just opened the bank account and I deposited $1 million in it in your name. For you to do whatever you want to do with it. And then she— he told her, you know how we used to shop for cars? I just went out and bought you a candy apple red 500 SEL Mercedes. So back then, SEL was the top one. And then she said he was 6'4", 212 pounds. A proportioned protoplasm for her to hold in the midnight hour. She said he went on to say, I bought you a $10,000 sable mink coat, and then I bought you a marble and glass condominium that overlooks Three Rivers Stadium so you can sit on the balcony and watch me play when we have home names. I said, my God, God, God is blessing her. But little did I know, she said, I got one question for you. Have you decided to follow Jesus? She said, I loved you when you had no money. Yes, Lord. And the only reason we couldn't be together, because you wouldn't Follow my God. He told me, I ain't said nothing about Jesus. I said, I want you. And she said to him, I gotta respectfully decline the $1 million, the $10,000 sable mink, the Mercedes-Benz. Marble and glass condominium. I got to walk away from 6'4". Y'all ain't got to talk to me here. She said, I got to walk away from 6'4", 212 lbs of proportioned protoplasm that I can hold in the midnight hour for a God I ain't never seen. Lord have mercy. For a heaven I ain't never walked on. And I said to myself, I said, my God. That's faith right there. She walked away from everything she dreamed of so that she could be right with God. And can I tell you something? Some of you got that kind of faith. You walked away from stuff you love doing. You walked away from people you loved hanging out with for a God you ain't never seen, for a heaven you ain't never been to. That's brave. And you gotta learn how to trust him on everything. Just like that. Without faith, it's impossible to please him. You got to get totally reliant upon him. Yes, Lord. Stop relying on your bank account. Are y'all hearing this? He said, I will supply all your needs. According to his riches and glory. Yes, Lord. According— simpaneo— which is in alignment with his riches. Yes, God. And that indicates that he's not going to bless me from what he has, he's going to bless me out of what he has. Yes, Lord. See, if I gave you a checkbook, if I cashed out you right now— nobody writes checks anymore— if I cashed out you, except my wife, glory to God, hallelujah— if I cashed out you $5 right now, I'm blessing you out of what I have, or from what I have. Yes, Lord. I'm not blessing you according to what I got. Because if I blessed you according to what I had, it's gonna be far more than $5. God is saying, I want to share what I have with you. You just gotta believe it's available to you. You know why he wants to share it? So you dominate. Nothing can be established without wealth. You got to have a vision. And what I've learned is I want to testify to it. We got a vision to build something for God and dominate. You won't have to go looking for money. Money will come looking for you. I'm telling you right now, right now while I'm talking, money is looking for you. Money's trying to find you. It's trying to find your address. It's trying to find your bank account. The heavens— there's money accumulating all around us that's already been released for our purpose and our destiny, and it is looking for you. I think you just know somebody said money's looking for you, baby. Are you scared to say that in church? Glory to God, it's looking for you. It's looking for you. I'm telling you, not just a little money, but lots of hundred thousands, millions are looking for you because you have that kind of purpose. You have that kind of dream. You ought to, by faith, just shout out your address, shout out your phone number. Because money is looking for you, cars are looking for you, land is looking for you, houses are looking for you. You ought to shout out your phone number. So that it can find you. I'm telling you, the blessing is looking for you. You gotta have faith to receive it. Oh my God, it's looking for you. It's looking— businesses are looking. God said he'll give you houses you didn't build. You, you'll reap from gardens you didn't plant. From fields where you have not sown. I'm telling you right now, God's about to give you a ridiculous blessing, and you got to make up in your mind that you're going to operate in the ridiculous faith it takes to get that ridiculous blessing to come alive in you. I'm telling you, God's about to bless you in a way that don't make sense. Glory to the name of God. He's about to bless your socks off. He's just looking for faith. Come And the Bible said, you, when you come to God, watch this, you must first believe that he is. Listen, this is the vision I told you this morning. You got it first. Nothing else matters if you don't have a vision of God. Yes, I was in Vegas one time and I was staying in this hotel that they had just built, and the man downstairs was telling me He said, man, you know, this hotel cost $360 million to build. I'm like, what? Yes, it looks like it could be that. I'm like, that's a lot of money. Yes, Lord. $360 million. Yes, God. And I said, God, the world can build a facility like this where people are gambling and doing all kind of ungodly things, and the church is struggling. He says, son, the church is struggling because they don't know who I am. They don't believe who I am. Why? They don't believe that I am a rewarder— glory, glory— of them that diligently seek me. Oh my God, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm going to go, I'm going to go, but I need you to understand, God says, I want to reward you But the prerequisite is faith and diligently seeking him. So you got to go after him with everything you got. You gotta go after him. Y'all ain't got to say nothing to me. With everything that's in you. Diligence says that whatever it takes, I'm gonna do it because I want what God has for me. Whatever sacrifice I gotta make, whatever praise I got to sit up, whatever praying I gotta do, whatever I gotta give, I'm going to do what I gotta do because I need God to bless me with a blessing that doesn't make sense. Are y'all hearing this? He says, I'm a rewarder of them The word seek, and I'm closing, because again, you never get a vision of him. It's sito or sitayo in Greek. It means to pursue hard after with uninterrupted focus, to get a bulldog-type aggression. You know, a bulldog, when they bite into something, they don't let go until they know that the prey is dead, or they see blood. They don't let go until they're satisfied. Are y'all here? You need to bite into what God is showing you. Yes, Lord. Bite into what the word has promised you. Yes. Go. And don't let go until you see it manifest. Yes, Lord. Yes, Lord. Until you see it show up in your life. Y'all get a vision of him. He's a rewarder. Watch this. That means he justly compensates. Yes, Lord. The church— watch this. Has been done. I'm talking about the body of Christ as a whole. A great injustice. Yes, our God owns everything, and the church is the poorest demographic on the planet, collective. That's backwards. We should be ruling, we should be sitting in the seat of authority. We got to diligently seek the reward. Yes, God. You know what we've been doing? And I'm done. We've been trying to reward ourselves. That's why people steal. That's why preachers steal the tithes. I don't ever understand that. Preachers steal all the money from the church and then get caught for stealing the money. That's crazy. We use people for money. Yes, Lord. The reality is that we diligently seek the one that has everything.
