The Seasons of our Life, Part B: "SeedTime." | Dr. Mike Woods, Sr. | 11 April 24

In this live teaching, Dr. Mike Woods, Sr. continues his "Seasons of Our Life" series, focusing on the second season, "Seed Time." He opens with a high‑energy invitation to share the stream and engage, then outlines the four‑season framework (Plowing, Seed Time, Waiting & Weeding, Harvest). Seed Time is defined not merely as financial giving but as the period of learning to do God’s will, which he equates with the Word of God. Using extensive biblical exegesis (1 John 5, Revelation 1:5, Mark 4, James 1, Matthew 7:21, Luke 6:47‑49, Ecclesiastes 12, Psalm 126), he argues that the Word is a seed that must be spoken, sown, and lived out; obedience to the Word produces a harvest proportional to the seed sown. He expands the concept to kingdom authority, urging believers to see themselves as kings and priests in various professions (medicine, finance, entrepreneurship) and to sow seeds in those realms. The teaching culminates in a concrete financial challenge: each listener is asked to sow a $126.50 “seed” (or tithe) as an act of obedience, promising that such sowing in tears will reap joy and abundance. Throughout, he repeatedly calls for sharing, engagement, and obedience, ending with a prayer of declaration and blessing.

Glory to God, we give you praise. Father, we thank you for another opportunity opportunity to teach your word, to share your word. We thank you, God, that the grass does wither, the flower fades, but it's your word that stands forever. You also said prophesy shall cease. Glory to God! But your word stands forever. Dancing will cease, but your word stands forever. And so, Father, we thank you for the eternal integrity of your word. And so, Father, tonight as we disseminate this word, this teaching, I decree and declare that as it goes out, it will go out with power, it will go out with authority. As a matter of fact, your Bible tells us that you sent the word and it healed us. So, Father, even as we disseminate the word, I decree and declare that there will be many that will be healed. Hallelujah! Many that will be delivered. Many that will be set free. I thank you that lives will be changed and that we will not be the same again after this teaching on tonight. You even said, God— oh my God, I thank you, hallelujah— that the word of the living God is God. You said in the beginning was the word and the word was God. So as we disseminate your thoughts, your persona, your person, may you personally, Lord. Superimpose yourself upon our life, upon our situation. Father, we trust you. Father, we need you. And Satan, you're a liar. We rebuke you in the name of Jesus, and we declare victory over the enemy. Oh God, and we declare that the Spirit of God that gives life will release life on this live today. Life to our finances, life to our bodies, life to our situations, life to our business, life to our ministry, life to our families. Release life, God, in the matchless name of Jesus we do pray. Amen. Hallelujah. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. We love the Lord. God is so good. God bless you, Sharon. Good evening. Good to see you. Glory to God. Hallelujah. Welcome to everyone. Welcome to everyone. All right, we're going to get started tonight. I am eager, eager, uh, to jump into the heart of this, man. We have been plowing through this series, man, like crazy. And, um, I don't know about you, but this series, uh, has literally been blessing me, uh, as I have been teaching it. And so tonight I want to make sure that we have enough time— hear me— to dive into this and just really unpack some of the things that I believe God is saying to us. We're continuing in our series on When God Wins. And if you're alive and been walking with God anytime, glory to the name of God. God bless you, Lois Kimber. Thank you for saying hello tonight. Hello to you. Glory to God. Um, If you've been walking with the Lord any amount of time, hear me. I want you to understand, you have come to a crossroad where you prayed, you have been looking for answers, and it seems like God is moving like an old man and he ain't showing up. And I've had several seasons like that in my life, but here's what I've learned. Those seasons, one, teach us patience. The Bible says, let patience have her perfect work, being entire, wanting nothing. So those seasons teach us how to wait on the Lord. It teaches us, number two, to respect the timing of the Lord. We come to understand things like, you know, really, pain, uh, comes before pleasure. We, we understand that you know, discomfort. And my God, sickness has to happen before you can actually be healed. And so God teaches us processes and to understand his timing and how to accept his timing, because guess what? He always knows what he's doing. And the ultimate picture is God is always trying to teach you and I something we don't know. And I know we got a bunch of people, bunch of people you know, out here today just because you got a phone and can get in front of it and talk. Glory to the name of God. Tons of people online doing that, and we got a bunch of people who are connected to everybody. And because of this, you got tons of believers who are of the deception that they know everything. I need to submit to you that none of us know everything, and this is why it's so important for you to sit under teaching, for you to get the word of God. And I'm not talking about somebody entertaining you every week. I'm I'm talking about you eating some meat where you could grow. I'm talking about you being challenged in your comfort zone and being pushed into places you've never been before. And so we started, uh, last week talking about the seasons of our lives, and we just kind of laid a backdrop in Ecclesiastes 3:1, and then we start unpacking the 4 seasons that we're going to talk about in this series. And the first one, we talked about the plowing season. And just by way of review, in case you forgot, some of you probably didn't even watch that message, so you need to go back and watch it because it's probably why you still plowing, because you don't understand why you in that season and can't get out of it. Plowing season is a season of work, it's a season of correction, it's a season Glory to the name of God, where God is teaching you clarity about his will. We unpacked all of that in that lesson. So tonight, glory to God, I want to talk about the season of seed time. The season of seed time. Uh, I, I told you when I first started teaching this, we're going to look at 4 seasons: plowing, seed time, waiting and weeding, and then harvest. Most of us want harvest, but we don't want plow, we don't want seed time, we don't want waiting and weeding. Now I want to share with you something, first of all, about seed time, because most time when you hear this in the church today, most people connect seed to money. And while money is a type of seed you could give to the Lord, that is not the summation of what seed time is in the realm of the spirit. So as I study the word and what I have gathered, and we're going to look at some of this tonight, is that seed time— hear me— is when you are learning— hear me— to do the will of God. And the will of God is his word. His will is his word. Are y'all hearing me? Okay, maybe you don't believe that. Let's go to 1 John 5. Let's start right there tonight because I got some doubters in the house, whether live or by replay. So let's, let's, let's start in 1 John 5. Let's just go there. Glory to God. Hallelujah. Jesus, wonderful Savior. We love him. He's a good God. 1 John 5, not Saint John, but 1 John 5. I want to read verses 14 and 16— 14 to 15, I'm sorry. Uh, the Bible says, listen to this, And this is the confidence we have in him. The word confidence in this text is a Greek word, parrhesia, which means boldness or frankness of speech. So God has placed in our wheelhouse as kingdom citizens, as believers, the ability to speak boldly freely and frankly with him, and we have confidence that we can do that. He says this is the confidence we have in him. Watch this, that if we ask— the word ask is a ishio in Greek. It means to come as an inferior to a superior. I'm gonna say that one more time. Uh, a ishio means to come as an inferior to a superior. Glory to God. So when I approach God in confidence, I— even though I can speak boldly, speak frankly, I must come to him with respect, with honor, and come to him as an inferior, uh, being totally aware in my mind, my heart, that I am inferior to the person I'm talking to and he is my superior. And he has everything I need. So if I ask anything according— symphonia in Greek— in alignment, in the same key— glory to God— as his will, that's what I wanted to get. The Bible says he hears us. The word 'heareth' is A-K-O-U in Greek. It's where we get words like acoustics. It's full sound. It's sound that you can literally feel and almost seemingly touch because it's full sound. You get immersed in the sound. I have in my, glory to God, living room a system that fully immerses you when you turn that thing on in what's happening in the sound. Especially if the movie or the television show was recorded, uh, in that type of immersive sound. It creates an acoustics based on the room and it immerses you in it as if you're in the scene. So much so, if somebody's walking behind you, you feel like you, you could feel them walking up behind you and you're watching that on the screen. God says, I'm listening with an intent to immerse you to make you become a part of what you pray for, as long as you come as an inferior to a superior. And I'm laying a backdrop to where I need to go. And as long as you're asking according to his will— his will is the Greek word philia, philia, which means, oh my God, his promise. His instructions, his word. His will is his word. Oh my God, Old Testament, New Testament. Oh, we'll— new will. Hear me, his will is his word. So if I'm praying according to his word and I ask him to do what in his word, he says, I'm going to immerse you in what you asked for. And anytime we're not praying like this, I want to submit to you, we're asking amiss. Oh my God. And that, my friends, in no way, shape, form, or fashion is the will of God. Glory to the name of God. And watch this, and if we know he hear us— my God. So orda in Greek, which is absolute knowledge. 1 1 2, that's absolute, can't change that. That's orda. So the, so, so the writer here is saying, if we know, we, we got confidence that he heard us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions we desired of him because I asked it according to his word, I asked it according to his will. Matter of fact, touch yourself and say, I know he heard me. Yeah, I know he heard me. I know he heard me. See, when you walk away from prayer, what gives you the confidence that he heard you is that you came as an inferior to a superior and that you asked according to his will. Not that you cried, not that you yelled, not that you screamed. Not even that you talked in tongues. What gives you the confidence that he heard you? Hear me, according to John, is that you ask— oh my God— according to his will. Somebody type in the comments, I know he heard me, like Pastor Jeffrey. I know he heard me. I know he heard me. See, you got to have an assurance that when you're finished praying, he heard you. So his will is his word. That's what I want to establish here. Glory to God. So again, to me, seed time represents, from my studying— y'all please share this, glory to God, please share it— seed times represents, glory to God, learning to do the will of God. That's important, people. It's important to learn to obey the word, to do the will. And I think religion so many times has taught us to major on correcting things about us in our walk with God so that we can make ourselves pleasing to God. And not saying behavior and how you behave is not important, that's important. That's a part of his will. But when all you do is spend your days trying to correct your behavior and not really be a kingdom citizen and operate in the will of God— I hear the Holy Spirit, there's another scripture that's not even in my notes. I'll go to Revelation, please, 1 and 5. Revelation 1 and 5. This is a part of his will. Watch this. So you can work hard correct your behavior. Hear me, Revelation 1:5, go there please. Get yourself in line, get yourself together, be a great moral character. Hear me, I still not be doing the will of God. I just want to say that for the people that think that just because they're holier than thou and they don't do things that other people do, they don't miss it, they don't make mistakes, that they're doing the will of God. No, the will is his word, and there are areas that many— hear me— fall short of. Let's read this. Uh, the Bible says this, Revelations 1:5. I'm gonna read 5 and 6. The Bible says, and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness and the first begotten of the dead, and the Prince of the Kings of the Earth. So if he's the first begotten, then there's going to be a second, third, fourth, fifth. That lets us know that they're going to be people, other people other than Jesus, that will die and be resurrected, whether in miracles or in the Rapture. Glory to God! But there will be others that will come back from the dead. Hear this, and if, if that is— and if we don't witness that and don't see that, the very fact that you were dead in trespasses and sin Hear me. And you got saved and filled with the Holy Spirit. Now you've been begotten of the dead because you were dead in trespasses and sin. You was a dead woman, dead man walking. Hear me. But God brought you back from the dead. So let's keep reading. He says, and the prince of the kings of the earth— keep that in mind. I want you to underline that, kings of the earth. Hear this, hear this, hear this. Oh, we— here we go. Unto him that loved us and washed us from our sins in his own blood. Now here's what I wanted to get. And have made us, us, come on, us kings, lowercase k, and priest unto God and his Father. To him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen. So this is a part of the will. Wait a minute, you stop sinning, you stop lying, stop cussing, stop fornicating. Yeah, you stop fornicating. Uh, glory to God. You stop committing adultery, you stop cussing. Glory to God. But have you become a king? Have you become royalty? Are you operating in the will and really walk? Not just saying you're a king, but a king. The, the, the Greek, the Greek word here is basileus, and that means— this word means, watch this— a leader of the people of the earth, a commander in the land. So in the marketplace where, where things are bought and sold, in the mill where things are created, have you become a king? Are you hiring people? Are you signing your own check? Come on, church. Yeah, come on, come on. I know you, you in the— you want to be in the— you say you want to be in the wheel, right? Yeah. So, so you should be working on royalty being a head in the earth. He's the King of Kings. He wasn't just talking about kings that are in monarchy, that are born into kingship in commonwealths around the world. He's talking about in his kingdom. You and I should be in authority. We should be ruling. Okay, okay. Okay, yeah, yeah, I, I know you don't want to hear this because you think you're perfect and better than everybody else. Oh, religious one, you're deceived. Because at the end of the day, if you're living beneath your privilege, you're not doing the will. So seed time is when you're learning to do the will. Listen, we can never reap a harvest in a field where we have not sown. So we gotta sow doctors in the medical field so we have kingdom doctors who are leading in medicine. We gotta sow financial experts and, oh my gosh, stockbrokers, and glory to the name of God, people who, oh my God, control the economy in the economic realm so we can be heads in that realm. We gotta sow entrepreneurs so that they can be raised up and be heads in the Fortune 500 companies. Watch this, let me just give you that real quick. Fortune 500 companies mean the top 500 companies in the world. Let me help you, let me help you. Of all Fortune 500 companies, 96.3% of the people that own those companies, whether it be shareholders or a single CEO and founder, 96.3% are non-believers. We got a long ways to go. We, we gotta learn to do the will. We got to start planning, making our stake in the earth so we can be kings in the earth. Lord have mercy. Glory to God. He's made us kings and priests. So a king is a ruler, one that's in charge, a leader, one that's in authority. A priest is an intercessor, not just one that prays for the earth— that's a part of it, goes to God on behalf of them— but one that stands in the gap for the earth if the earth is in need of help. Of resources. Because God has resourced us, we're able to resource them. Oh, he's made us kings and priests. Listen to this, this for real, man. Anytime in my life I have chosen God's will instead of mine I have learned that I'm planting a good seed— hear me— that eventually brings a good harvest in my life. But every time I chose my will and didn't choose his— again, his will is not something spooky that you see in a dream. His will is his word. So when you go against what his word is asking of you and you choose that you above that, you're setting yourself up for failure. You can't expect nothing but a bad harvest. And you wonder why you have all these bad harvests in your life. It's because, my friends, you constantly choose you over the word, and you can't do that and expect a good harvest. Praise God. I'm not gonna go there, but I will share a few points from Mark chapter 4, the parable of the sower, because there's a lot to read. But if you go and read it later, Mark chapter 4, uh, Jesus is teaching a parable about sowing. And of course, you know, he talks about the different types of ground. We talked about fallow ground, uh, last week. Glory to God. But one of the main things in this chapter is that the parable of the sower is teaching us— watch this— that the seed— hear me— is God's word. I want you to get this tonight. I want you to get this tonight. Uh, Mark— in Mark chapter 4, when you read the parable of the sower, this is the main thing you need to get out of this text. We have the authority to sow the word out of our mouths. Spermatikly, it's a spermatic word that is released in the realm of the spirit, breaks an embryo in the earth realm, and gives birth to something we can tangibly handle in the earth realm. Listen, instead of complaining about your situation or how you're so broke and you're so depressed and nothing's happening for you and you want to quit and you want to give up, no, start speaking the word and speak it, Sport, because you gotta sow the word. Death and life is in the power of your tongue. And then you can speak death out of your mouth, but when you are practicing the will of God, the integrity of the word, you're constantly and consistently sowing your word and the promises of God into situations. So because basically what I'm saying to you is you got to be— hear this— a doer and not just a hearer. Matter of fact, type that in the comments, somebody, please. I, I got one obedient person in this, on this stream tonight that will type something in the comments. Um, but type that in the comments: don't just be a hearer, be a doer. Don't just be a hearer, be a doer. We hear so much word, we got access to so much word. We go to meetings, we go to conferences, we go to church, we get on lives. But it's not enough to hear it. You need to put the word in action and do it. Oh my God, be a doer of the word. Glory to God. Yeah, go to James chapter number 1. My God, today, thank you, Lord. I hear you, I hear you. Yeah, I hear you, Father. Verses 21 through 25. Watch this. I want to show you why you need to not just be a hero and you need to be a doer. Watch this. The Bible says, wherefore, listen, lay aside, listen to this, all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness. I feel like I should break that down. So first of all, he says lay aside or lay apart, uh, repario, repario, which means to which is filthiness, which means to make filthy, that things that dishonor or defile. So he says lay aside anything— I want you to hear this— that defiles your spirit. God, oh my God, that dishonors the God in you. And superfluity— I love that word. He said lay apart— listen to this— filthiness. But then he also says superfluity. I want you to lay aside surplus that can be used to— watch this— super abundance. Hear me, because when people read this they automatically think everything is bad. But he says lay apart all filthiness and superfluity. But then he says, 'Lay apart abundance, superabundance'— watch this— 'born out of greed.' So he's not saying something's wrong with abundance, but what he is saying, 'I want you to lay aside greed.' Hear this. And naughtiness, kakia, which means being, have, being full of malice, being bad, being a bad girl, a bad boy, always looking to be bad and bad, just naughty all the time, never seeking, hear me, to do what's right. He says, but receive with meekness the engrafted word. Come on. Which is able to save your souls. But be ye doers of the word— hear this— and not hearers only, deceiving your own self. For if any be a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass. For he beholdeth himself and goeth his way, and straightway forgot what manner of man he was. Verse 25: For whosoever looketh into the perfect law of liberty, the word, and continues in the word, He being not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in all of his deeds. In other words, James is saying here, listen, one, he said the word— I like this part— when you let it get engrafted, it becomes a part of you. It becomes, watch this, a way of life. It's engrafted in you. It's a part of your DNA. It's a part of your persona. He says, let this word have the power— listen to this— to save your soul. Not just from hell, but your soul is your mind, your will, your emotions. It's where your 5 senses are: your ability to speak, your ability to hear, your ability to see, your ability to feel, your ability to taste. All of those things are in your soul. Your intellectual capacity is in your soul. So God says the word rescues your soul. Who from carnal manifestations? Because trust me, you don't just need your soul delivered from hell, you need your mind, will, and emotions delivered every day. The word— hear this— brings forth that deliverance. Lord have mercy, Jesus. I, I need to go. I need to get out of here, man. To be engrafted in this word, it has to be implanted and rooted in your heart. Plant it and root it. Listen to this. In your heart, man. Good God Almighty. Listen, you hear it, but then according to what we just read in this text, you are blessed in the doing. Here, are y'all hearing that? So the blessing comes when you go forward and do it. Listen, hearing— this is what hearing is like. If you, if you have a package of, uh, let's say apple seeds, you went to the store, you bought some apple seeds or some corn seeds, and you read the instructions on how to plant them, right? Then you went home and said, I'm gonna plant these and grow me some apples. Make— grow me an apple tree, grow me some corn. Hearing is like taking that seed pack and putting it in your drawer and never going to get it. You know it's there, you know the ability those seeds have to produce, but you've never sowed them. So being a hearer of the word and never sowing it, never using it Knowing its ability to produce, knowing that we just read— my God, today, knowing that we just read, we'll be blessed in our deeds if we do it. I'm talking about seed time tonight. You, you gotta do what the word says. I just hear it. A lot of us have heard a lot of words, a lot of good preaching. Some of us sit and watch preaching all the time, and I'm— there's nothing wrong with that, you need it. But here's what I'm saying, it's not doing you much good if you don't use it. Glory to God, glory to God. My God, go to John 13. Go to John 13. You only have a right to expect a harvest when you sow the word. I just want to introduce that to you. You have no right to expect a harvest if you do not sow the word. My God, today. My God, today. And you get frustrated when you're not getting a harvest, but your harvest is always proportionate to your seed. I'll say that again: the harvest is always proportionate to the seed. So if you're sowing little word, you're going to have little harvest come up. If you're not praying the word in the spirit spermatically and breaking embryos in the earth realm to produce a harvest. Oh, you don't have a right to expect one. Oh boy. But for those of you that's been sowing, glory to God, sowing the word, you got a right to expect a harvest. Praise God. John 13:17, listen to this. The Bible says, if you know these things, blessed and happy and to be envied are you— I'm reading out of Amplified— if you practice them, if you act accordingly. Watch this. And really do them. So if you know the word, the Bible said blessed and happy will you be, and envied even, if you practice what the word says. But if you just listen to words, scrolling timelines, and never really listening to nothing. Glory to God. Never really taking anything systematically. That's why I teach systematically, so that those that listen can take it and meditate on it, swallow it, regurgitate it, swallow it again. That's what the word meditate is, hagia, which means to chew it up, swallow, regurgitate, chew some more, swallow, until it is engrafted, rooted inside of you. That you practice it. This thing has to become a practice. Go to Matthew 7:21. Glory to God, I'm almost finished. Praise God. Matthew 7:21. The word, the word of God says this. He says, not everyone who says to me, Lord, Lord— listen to this— will enter the kingdom of heaven. Oh boy. But he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven— his will is his word. So everybody that's saying Lord, Lord won't get to experience the Kingdom of Heaven— watch this— on Earth. Or in heaven. Glory to God, because you can have heaven on earth. You can have kingdom manifestations for your life on earth. Oh my God, today. Oh my God, today. I, I got to get out of here, y'all. I'm almost done. I got to get out of here. Glory to the name of God. Go to Luke 6:47 and 49. Praise God. Luke 6:47 and 49. I love Jesus, how about you? Luke 6:47 and 49. Praise the name of Jesus. God is so good, he's so wonderful. Hallelujah, he's so mighty. Beside him there is no other. Luke 6:47 and 49. The Bible said the man who hears the word— listen to this, listen— and does it is like a man that builds his house on a rock. And I'm not going to read through the rest of them— build no sand, build no water— we know none of that works. At the end of the day, what stands, what lasts, is when you build on a rock. That's the foundation. So the word of God has to be your foundation. So when you hear the word and do it, you're building your life on a rock. You're building your life— hear me, guys— on something that will always work. Listen, something that doesn't miss it to the left nor to the right. Oh boy, God have mercy. Oh my God, today, Lord, are y'all here? I mean, really, are you here? When you do this, you're setting yourself up for stability, for the ability for the storms of life not to blow you away. You can stand against anything when you build your life on the word. Not on your premise, not on what you think is right, but on what he says is right, his will. Again, seed time is learning to do the word. Oh my God, today, Lord, I love him. He's such a good God. He's such a mighty God. Beside him there is no other. He rules and he super rules, y'all. Glory to God. Hallelujah. Hallelujah! He's amazing, he's wonderful. We're talking tonight, for those of you that's just joining us, about the seasons of our life, and we're in the second part of this. So really what God wants you to do, guys, he really and truly is interested in you building your life on a rock. Glory to God! Something that will stand something that won't be defeated. Glory to God. Something— hear me— that can withstand the storms of life. Good God Almighty, Lord have mercy. Oh, go to Ecclesiastes 12:13. Let's walk this out. Glory to God. Stay with me, I'm, I'm almost through. Glory to God. I got 9 minutes, I'm almost through. Ecclesiastes 12:13. I pray y'all learn. I, I just love the word, man. I love it. I love it. Glory to God. You got to fall in love with this thing so you can walk it out and practice it. Oh boy. Ecclesiastes 12 and 13. The Bible says, let us hear— hear this— the conclusion of the matter, of the whole matter. Fear not. Watch this. Keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man. This is a conclusion of all of it, okay? He said, listen, obedience to the word Listen to this, is the adjustment to all inharmonious circumstances. So wherever there's inharmonious circumstances or there is something that's out of line with God, obedience to the word is the equalizer. Glory to the name of God. Uh, one of my favorite movies is Equalizer 1, 2, and 3. Denzel plays that role. Glory to the name of God. And he is the person that adjusts wrongs in— that's the central theme of the whole movie trilogy. He adjusts wrongs for people who have an inability to adjust them for themselves. Can I tell you something? Obedience to the word allows God to step into your life and make the necessary adjustments to inharmonious situations. Listen, the word of God— listen— is the conclusion of every matter. It's the root of all character. So if you've got some bad areas in your character, you know, I mean, you can't stay out the wrong bed, you wake up in the wrong bed all the time, you cuss all the time, you lie, you know, you got some problems in your character. Well, the word of God Hear me, can help you correct those things. Ain't no need beating yourself up. But if you want to change things about you, get in the word and stay there. Glory to God. And begin to speak it again, spermatikly, out of your mouth till it breaks the embryo in the earth realm and manifests through your life. It's powerful all by itself. Ah, not only that, the word is the source. It's the conclusion of everything now, of all happiness. You ain't happy? Find the promise in the word about joy, about happiness, and start speaking those scriptures about joy and your joy walk, and start praying those things back to God and watch them manifest in your life. Okay, word. That's why you all love it. That's why when Thursday come, you ought to be the first one on Bible study. That's why when Sunday come, you ought to be looking to hear the word. You ought to get excited because you get more— oh my God— into your life that you can sow. Oh, wait a minute, wait a minute. The word— hear this— It's the full duty of man. We read that. It says, for— he said, obey God, keep his commandments. Well, this is the whole duty of man. So if you want to know what to do with your life, there's something in this book for everything, whether it be business, whether it be finance, whether it be marriage, whether it be being single, whether it being— being a parent. There's something in this book in the word of God for everything you need. You got to find the promises that cover the needs you have, begin to speak those promises and ask God to do those promises, and believe while you're saying it. Jesus said, believe when you pray that you have those things that you ask. This is the confidence. Remember, I read in the beginning that we have in him, that if we ask according to his word, he does it. Gotta ask according to this book, man. Yeah, I'm almost done. I'm almost— it's the whole duty of man. So basically what I've said to you tonight in so many ways, a few different ways, is that obedience— hear this— is the seed that brings forth the harvest. I want to submit this to you, and I'm getting ready to close. There will always be seasons— thank you, Father, I hear you— of obeying God in a greater way if you're going to enjoy a greater harvest. There can be no greater harvest without greater obedience, and I'm talking about to the word. See, let's get obedient to the fact that we've been made kings, and let's start sowing seeds into our royalty, into our gifting, into our who we are to be on this planet. We're priests. Let's start obeying that. Let's start interceding for other people. Let's start positioning ourselves where we can really be blessed to be a blessing. And a lot of times you go through pain and turmoil and seasons where you feel like you've been abandoned and forgotten. Can I tell you something? There's great joy coming when you sow in tears. Let's go to that, uh, Psalm 126. And this is my last scripture. I'm almost done, guys. We've had people bouncing in and out all night. Well, praise God for everybody that's heard this. I pray you've gotten something out of it. Glory to God. Psalm 126:5. Glory to God. Woo! Shaya! Mantidi! Ansu! Bransik! Ididi! Anso! Tababaya! So, oh yes, God, we give you praise. Psalms 126:5. The Bible said they that sow in tears— can I tell you something, man? I have sown in tears for a lot of my life, and every season of transition and promotion, I find myself back in this place of tears. I mean, the last couple of weeks I've been weeping in prayer, uh, just in a deeper dimension than normal weeping. Um, sowing the word, having to stand on what God says to me and about me. And I have one promise. It's this text right here: those that sow in tears. I believe I'm talking to some people tonight that have had some tears in your eyes. You wonder when God win. And you've cried and you wept. But the Bible says they that sow in tears— here we go— shall reap in joy. Shear, you know, or runah. The word joy is runah. It's just like shear, which means you will reap with shouting. A great profit. You'll get— you'll see a profit from what you've gone through. And you'll sing with joy. You'll worship with joy because of what the Lord has done, not what he will do. What God says, I'll give you some joy. In other words, I'm gonna give you something to sing about. I'm gonna give you something to dance about. I'm gonna give you something to— glory to God— shout about the goodness of God to all the earth over. Because you sowed in tears, he said, I'm gonna cause you to reap in great profit and great joy. Well, I thank you. Glory to God. Verse, verse 6, I'm gonna just read it. He that goeth forth and weepeth bearing precious seed shall doubtless come again rejoicing, bringing his sheaves, his harvest, his aluma, his aluma, his blessing, his harvest with him. So God says he's going to bless you. In a way that the same eyes they watched you cry— hear me— with the same eyes they talked about you and watched you struggle, with the same eyes they gossip and lied on you, with the same eyes they watch you go through hell and high water, with the same eyes they watch you fight for your life, literally. God says here, Aluma, I'm gonna make them watch you come out They're gonna watch you get blessed. They're gonna watch you rise up. But you got to sow the right seed of the word, because God said your tears are not in vain. So dry your tears tonight. Weeping may endure for a night, but joy— there it is again— prophet comes in the morning. God says, I'm about to show you morning. But you have to trust him, and you got to stand on the integrity of his word. I'm done. Father, I give you praise. Thank you for this teaching tonight. Thank you that the seed is your word. And I pray tonight in the name of Jesus that as we believe and as we trust the seed of your word. I decree and declare that as we sow in tears the word of God and plant seeds, I decree and declare spermatic words will go forth out of your people, and it will break embryos in the earth realm and bring forth tangible manifestations of your word in their life, in my life. I thank you that we don't lack a thing, we don't have a care, Father, because your word says you would supply our need according to your riches and glory. So we declare we'll never be broke another day in our life. We declare that the harvest is coming in now in the name of Jesus. We declare that with your stripes we are healed, and we thank you that because we sow the word, our bodies are healed, our finances are healed, our families are healed in the name of Jesus. We give you glory. Thank you that you add to the church daily such as would be saved. Thank you, God, that you open up doors of opportunity for your people, and we give you praise for it now in Jesus' name. Amen. Hallelujah. And thanks be to God. Listen, I am grateful for every person that has joined us tonight. Listen, take this word and do it. Just do it like he said it. Just do it, man. Just, just do it. Just do it. Listen, just do it. Just open your mouth and sow the word. And where there's instructions that you literally got to walk out, walk those things out. Are you hearing me? Glory to God. You know, I have to be obedient to God. I don't even know sometimes— well, I do it because I'm being obedient, but a lot of times You know, we don't get the response that we should from people because people just do what they want to do. But at the end of the day, I have to obey God. I want to challenge you tonight to plant a financial seed so you can position yourself to speak the word over that seed. Listen, if you don't have financial seed in the ground that's a part of his will, you can't plant the seed that says, Lord, your word says, whatsoever I sow, that shall I reap. So Father, I have sowed bountifully, and I decree and declare according to your word, I shall reap bountifully. Well, if you haven't done that, then you misappropriate the opportunity to actually receive an abundant harvest. Listen, I, I literally need you to be obedient tonight. We read the scripture, he that sow in tears shall reap in joy. 1— Psalm 126:5. I want every person that will— please be obedient tonight. Don't turn me off, don't scroll. I need you to stay right here, whether you're on YouTube, any of these Facebook pages, Instagram, wherever you are. I want to ask you to trust God with a seed of $126.50. Now, if you have not tithed, you need to give your tithe. If you're not a member of broader church anywhere You need to give your tithe to whatever church you remember, and if you're not a member, you can give your tithe here. But that's another level of will, you know. He said, bring ye the tithe. So you can't pray, Lord, I brought my tithe, so open the window of heaven, because you didn't do it. You become subject to another part of that. So I want every tither that know you're supposed to tithe to tithe, and then on top of that, I want you to get a seed of $126.50, and I want you to put it in the ground. The ways to give are scrolling at the bottom of the screen. Listen, be obedient tonight. I want to pray. Father, in Jesus' name, I thank you for this opportunity to sow. And Father, many of us have sown in tears, and we expect the promise to reap in joy. And as we move in obedience to your word— not Michael Woods, to your word— And we take this opportunity to practice what we know, practice what we've heard. God, in the name of Jesus, we get a seed in the ground of $126.50. And for those that are tithing, they're tithing and sowing an offering of $126.50. And Father, we believe as we take what we have, you're going to turn it into what we need. And I declare no weapon formed against our finances can prosper. And I thank you, God, that if we give, it shall be given unto us good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, shall men give to our bosom. We declare that now, and we say it is so, in Jesus' name. Amen and amen. Hallelujah. Yeah, glory to God. I love you, I love you. I knew where you lose a few people when we start talking about giving, but it's Okay, listen, that's the way God does things, you know. That's a part of the kingdom system, you know. Giving and receiving is, is the kingdom economy. And, you know, if you really want to be blessed, you have to get in that economy. Glory to the name of God, of giving and receiving. And that's just reality. That's the word. That's the commonwealth of the kingdom of God. Giving and receiving is the greatest investment you'll ever, ever make. Listen, again, the ways to give on the screen. Get your seeds in the ground today, and I promise you, you won't regret that you did. Listen, I love you guys. I look forward to, uh, seeing you guys this weekend. Glory to the name of God. I believe God has something for us. Glory to God, that is going to literally change our lives. We just got to be in place. Glory to God. I love you. Y'all be blessed. Heaven smile upon you is my prayer. Amen.
