The Spirit of GREED | 12 NOON TEACHING, DAY 1 OF 21 DAYS OF ACTION | Dr. Mike Woods

In this hour‑long noon teaching, Dr. Mike Woods launches the church’s 21‑day “Taking Action” series, inviting viewers to join a 5 am and 12 noon prayer‑fast. The central lesson focuses on the spirit of greed, which he defines biblically as covetousness, pride (the Hebrew rachab), and an insatiable desire for what belongs to others. He links greed to the broader problem of strife, explaining that jealousy, slander, and conflict arise when people are never satisfied. Woods argues that greed reveals insecurity and a lack of trust in God, turning money and material wants into idols, and he warns that such idolatry blocks divine prosperity. Using a personal story about longing for shoes, he illustrates how honest prayer and surrender can lead to God’s provision. He then provides concrete fast guidelines (no meat, sugar, soda, etc.), lifestyle clean‑up tips, and a daily rhythm of prayer and word‑eating. Throughout, he repeatedly urges the audience to share the teaching, tag friends, give financially to support the church’s building project, and to live for the “audience of one” – God – rather than seeking human approval. The sermon ends with a prayer of repentance and an invitation to be baptized, emphasizing that those who reject greed and embrace God’s kingdom will inherit His authority and blessings.

Amen. I don't take that for granted. You could be doing a whole lot of other stuff, glory to God, but you're choosing to stop what you're doing and be a part of this word. Praise God. All right, let's pray. Glory to God. And we're gonna get right into this. Father, in Jesus' name, we thank you today for your goodness, your mercy, your grace, your kindness, your favor toward us. We thank you, God, that as we teach today, your people will be blessed by you and never impressed by me. Thank you, Lord, that we'll see you more clearly. Know you more and love you more dearly and will walk with you more nearly. Now, Lord, let the words of my mouth, the meditation of my heart be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength and my redeemer. In Jesus' name, amen. And thanks be to God. All right, let's jump into this, family. Uh, I pray, I pray, I pray, glory to God, you guys are sharing and you're making sure others are connecting with this word. Amen. Hallelujah. All right, so today, praise God, again we're talking about— man, uh, we're picking up on our teaching that we've been sharing, praise God, on strife. And man, let me tell you something, these teachings have been absolutely a blessing to me. I pray that how they've been blessing you me, they've been blessing you as well. Um, and so today, glory to God, please go back and watch the other messages. This would be like message number 6 of this series, glory to God. Uh, because at the end of the day, uh, the Holy Spirit has deemed this important. We have discovered that walking in strife will hinder the blessing of God from flowing out of our life. It hinders the anointing It will destroy families. Strife will destroy churches. It'll destroy marriage. It'll destroy business. It will ruin the best of friends. It will mess up relationships between children and parents. And you know, my greatest goal, guys, I don't want any of you to ever live life with regrets. So I want you to be able to identify these things in your life, get rid of them so that you literally have no regrets. Glory to God. Hallelujah. So whether you're watching this live or by replay, I want you to take good notes. I want you to intensely focus. Glory to the name of God on what's being said. I promise you, you're going to be blessed. You're going to be made whole. Glory to God. All right, so we're talking today about a greedy spirit. Glory to God. And matter of fact, type that in the comments, guys. A greedy Spirit. A greedy spirit. Yeah, say it out loud if you can, if you're somewhere where you can say it out loud. A greedy spirit. Because I wanted to be very clear that this is what we're teaching about today. Thank you, Father. A greedy spirit. And I want to start in Proverbs, uh, 24:25 today. And again, this is a part for real of taking action against strife. Because, uh, inside of that stronghold of strife— because strife in itself is a chief demon— and inside of that stronghold are several spirits. Actually, jealousy, uh, envy, and greed are inside of the spirit of strife. We're just going to deal with the spirit of greed today, and if the Holy Spirit allows us, we'll deal with the spirit of jealousy tomorrow. But the reality is We got to identify this and make sure that there are no traits of this working in our life, because perhaps, perhaps, guys, perhaps the blessing is being slowed down in your life because there's some greed that's not dealt with in your life that you need to deal with, that you need to handle. Praise be to God. Hallelujah. So I want us to take this, uh, seriously. Glory to God. And understand that we really need this. All right, so Proverbs 28 and 25. Glory to God. Um, let me get it up here. I pray y'all having a good day. I pray you're surviving this fast. We eating the word, man. We eating the word. Glory to God. We're eating the word. Proverbs 28:25. Are y'all ready? Let's go. The Bible says he who is of a proud heart— listen to this— stirreth up strife. But he that putteth his trust in the Lord shall— oh my God, here we go— shall be made fat. Let me just read that again because it's just all right to read the Bible. The Bible says he that is of a proud heart stirreth up strife. Good God. But he that putteth his trust in the Lord shall be made fat. Good God. So the word proud there is rachab, or rachab, R-A-C-H-A-B. And this word literally means, oh my God, of a broad, greedy spirit. All right, so that's why it pays to study, right? It pays to study because you would have thought that proud was transliterated there something else. But it really means a broad, wide, greedy spirit. Watch this, where you never have enough. I said this last week, uh, last Thursday when I was teaching. I'll say it again right here just so it could be reviewed in your head. Strife oftentimes, more times than not, watch this, is a result of you not getting what you want. Anytime you embrace strife, it's because you're not getting what you want. Let me give an example. You want somebody to do blank and they do something else. You want somebody to love you differently and they, you know, they're not just loving you the way you want to be loved. So you get in strife because you're not receiving from them what you think you ought to be receiving, and so you choose to have strife or conflict about it because you're not getting what you want. And watch this, you may say, Apostle, hey, they wrong, you know, they're wrong. And they may be, you know, they very well need to be wrong. But I want to submit to you, you're wrong too if you enter into strife, because two wrongs don't make a right. My God, because they're not giving you what you want. You gotta choose to follow peace with yourself, peace with God, and watch this, peace with them. You don't get to be hateful, you don't get to be evil, you don't get to start arguments, you don't get to treat them bad, you don't get to give them the cold shoulder. But listen, you're going into conflict and strife because you're not getting what you want. And in a person, greed is one sign that you are operating in strife because you're— you so— you want so much, and when you don't get what you want, you stay in strife. Mad at God, mad at everybody else, mad at the world because you're not getting what you want. Oh my God. So the Bible says— as a matter of fact, if we read this in the, in the, um, Amplified Version, it says it just like it's translated. It says, 'He who is of a greedy spirit stirs up strife.' But if you trust God with your heart My God, I love this. Are y'all with me? He says, but if you trust God with your heart, put your trust in God— hear me, guys— the text says you will be made fat. What do you mean, Michael? Okay, well, let's just break it down. I wasn't gonna go down there, but trust— but I've taught that before— but is secure and confident. See, some of you move in strife and you get in— oh my God, you get mad at God, you get in depression, you get confused, and the enemy starts working because you really don't trust God. You really don't have batak. You trust yourself, you trust your own resources, you're operating in batak. You, you're not secure in God, which creates physical carnal life insecurities. When you're not secure in God The direct result of that is life insecurities. So you have insecurities about yourself, you have insecurity about finances, you have insecurity about your future, you have insecurity about where you stand in the eyes of your friends, your family, your husband, your wife, because you really don't trust that he's guiding you. So the reality is The greedy spirit— oh my God— can spill over into your batak, your faith, your trust, your confidence, your security in God, because you want what you want when you want it, and, and you're not willing to be processed through whatever process God is taking you through to get to you where he's trying to get to you. Glory to God. So you're refusing to trust God. And now you walk around with an attitude. Oh my God, you got an attitude with God and you got an attitude with everybody else. And the reality is your attitude is not going to change anything. And what you need to do is humble yourself. Glory to God. And get some confidence in the Father. Oh boy, oh boy, I wish I had some help here. Glory to God. I wish somebody was praying me through here. Glory to God. The Bible says if you trust him, if you get secure in God, it says you'll be made fat. Not with weight— wait a minute— not with weight, not with weight, not with obesity. This word fat is transliterated from a Hebrew word, dashen, or dashen, dashen, D-A-S-H-E-N, dashen. The word dashen means that you will become prosperous. You will become wealthy. Oh my God, oh my God. So can I submit to you, the only reason you're broke right now is because you're insecure about God, because you're greedy toward your own way. Oh, oh, you're greedy toward getting it done your own way. Oh my God, today we're fasting. We're about to break this thing down. See, you were saying in the beginning, I ain't greedy, I don't even hardly eat. Yeah, but you greedy for carnality. You greedy for walking in the flesh. You greedy for being insecure toward what God can do. You say you trust God, but when it boils down to it, when the rubber hits the road, You're bent out of shape. You're losing it. You're— you got an attitude because God is not giving you what you want, how you want him to do it. And it has nothing to do with him. I love y'all. I love y'all. It has everything to do with you. Your insecurity in his word. Your ineptitude to trust what he said. Yeah, you know what he said. You go to church, but you're, you're not confident in it. And Dashaun says, if I get confident in it, yeah, he's gonna make me prosper. He's gonna cause me to be rich. Watch this. Which means wherever I put my hands, it's going to prosper. Hallelujah! It's going to prosper. Glory to God. Whoa! Whoa, whoa, oh, I'm just trying to help you through this fast. Get your attitude together, all right? Get your tune right, shouty. I'm telling you, through this fast, take this time, shouty, to get your tune together. Listen to me, because if you keep having that bad attitude with the Father where you don't trust him Oh yeah, I trust Jesus. Yeah, you trust him as long as everything's going good. But when he takes you through the test where he's trying to anoint you more and take you to the next level and do for you things that have never been done and usher you into glory and dimensions that you've never seen, are you willing to keep trusting him through the process? Question because Can you trust him when you can't trace him? Oh yeah, when you can't trace him, can you trust him? Are you hearing this? That's a question. That was a question. When you can't see him, can you still be secure in what he said? You know why you're secure? Because you believe. You know why you trust? You know why you batok? You trust him and have confidence in him, and you have no insecurity toward the Father whatsoever, because you understand for real— hear me— that he cannot lie. There's no ability in God to tell a lie. So what you got to do, get your tool right. Understand, God ain't man. He ain't that dude you dated. He ain't that bum husband that left and didn't come back. Come on, abasi antolobo ko yasha. He's not your boss, he's not your friends, he's not the person that bullied you in school, he's not that parent that didn't show you the love they should have. You can trust him. And what, what Apostle Woods is trying to help you do today is understand that God's ways are not our ways, his thoughts are not our thoughts. And you can't be so greedy and entitled that you feel like God's got to do it your way when he already planned a way to get it done. Glory to God! I love him, I love him, I love him, I love him today. He's such a mighty God, he's such a good God. Hallelujah, hallelujah! You ought to praise him, you all just praise him. Glory to God, he's worthy. He's worthy. Yeah, he's worthy. Glory to God. So greedy people who operate in this greedy spirit, who are insecure, who lack confidence in God, they stir up strife for several reasons, okay? Number one, you, you can write this down if you want to. A person that's operating in a greedy spirit stirs up strife often because, watch this, they are never permanently satisfied no matter how much they have. Oh, oh, oh, oh God, let me just go there. Let me go. Can I go there, Lord? Yeah, I'm gonna go there. All right, so let's think about a married couple right here. So you can have— because the church is the bride of Christ, right? We're his bride. Glory to God. So let's, let's look at a married couple in the natural. Listen here, honestly, you married to somebody, honestly, right next to you every night, every day. Guess what? You should be permanently satisfied. You got sex all night. You can talk to this person as much as you want. Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy, oh boy, oh boy. Oh. But then you go and cheat, or you start talking to somebody else and putting your confidence and trust in them, that means you, you're not exercising your right to permanent satisfaction. And you may say, well, I married them and they don't satisfy me, they don't give me everything I need. Well, you married them, so you got to figure out how to find that confidence inside of that situation. So let me flip that over to God. First natural, then spiritual. As his child, as the bride of Christ, we should be permanently satisfied with what he gives us, with how he made us, with who we are. And so we shouldn't be running around being mad and angry. Well, God, if I'd have been skinny, if I'd have been short, if I'd have been tall— oh my God, but I, uh, if I hear somebody else say, and my parents would have been rich Now let me tell you something right now, that don't mean nothing. Glory to God. Because your parents could be rich and selfish and not share nothing with you. Are you, are you hearing me? You need to be satisfied and secure in God. Okay, secondly, you gotta recognize that permanent satisfaction is provided by God. So watch this, everything that God gives us, he gives it to us with the intention to satisfy us permanently. Oh my God, so we don't have to look to the left nor to the right, but we can constantly look for him to satisfy us in the areas we need satisfaction. Oh, but God is all about making sure you're okay. But you know what happens when we don't trust him and we go to the left or the right and try to fix it ourselves? That's greed. We're actually saying to God— oh, I'm gonna, I'm gonna throw the Bible at you again— that God, you're not enough, and God, honestly, I think you need my help. Because if you had my help, maybe we can accomplish this better. Can I submit to you, God really just needs you to yield to his plan. That's, that's the help he needs from you. He needs surrender, not you being so greedy that you got to control even what God's trying to do. That's called witchcraft. You're trying to manipulate the will of God through your own carnal desires. Watch this. Even it's a desire to lean to your own understanding, but the Bible saying, all your ways, but talk, trust the Lord and he'll direct your path. So stop leaning to what you think is right and trust the Lord to give you direction, to order your steps. Oh my God, oh my God, oh my God. I see y'all coming and y'all keep coming and keep engaging if you're receiving this. Messiah. Listen, he, he simply— that's right, daughter, that's right, Zion— he needs you to surrender. The old mother used to sing the song in the church: All to Jesus I surrender, all to him I freely give. I will ever love and trust him in his presence day I wish I could sing it like a field. Daily live, I surrender all. That's what he wants, all. Here's a question: is your all on the altar? I mean, I mean, even the way you think it ought to be done, or are you greedy? Oh God, have mercy. Go to James 4. Go to James 4. I'm gonna show you this. James 4. Because some of y'all said, Apostle, you, you just, you, you ain't, you ain't right, sir. James 4. Okay, James chapter 4. Let's look at verse 1 and 2. I read this last week, but I'm gonna read it again. He says, from whence wars and fightings among you? He said, where they come from? Where are these conflicts coming from? He said, watch this: Come they not hence even of your lusts that war in your members? Verse 2: Ye lust and have not. Ye kill and desire to have and cannot obtain. Ye fight and war, yet ye have not because you ask not. Yeah, because again, God has already planned it. He already has the resources available. The question is, have you asked him for it in the right way? And when you ask, did you trust him, or did you immediately work revert back to trusting in your way of doing and being right. Are you here? Are you here? Oh my God, where's it coming from? Could it be the spirit of greed that you're never satisfied? Glory to God. Are you warring with people because they have what you want? And you ain't got what was promised you. No, live by replay may not be the group that's on here now, but live by replay, okay? You know, some people just walk around pouting all the time, you know, just pouting and mad, got your lips poked out. Hear me, your lips is poked out. And again, an attitude, mad, throwing a tantrum like a 3-year-old in a grocery store. Because you got a prophecy, it ain't coming to pass. You got scripture that's telling you certain things is yours and you ain't seeing that in your life, and you mad, you got conflict with your greedy self. God says, I need you to calm down and trust me. And many of you— watch this— you cast judgment against those oh my God, that have what you want, and you'll begin to slander them. You'll slander people that's got a nice car, a nice house. You know, I've seen saved people talk about people who have acquired material things, and they cast judgment on them. Well, they got a nice car, but they ain't saved. Come on, man. You know, basically, a hater is someone that doesn't dislike the person, they just dislike that they don't have what that person has. And so they enter into judgment when Matthew 7:1 clearly told you to judge not that ye be judged. Oh my God, oh my God. You know what we do in prayer? Many a times we'll ask things and we really don't believe that we can receive it, but the Bible says believe when you pray that you receive what you ask And if you ask anything according to his will, he'll do it. Maybe because God can't lie, maybe you need to change how you praying. Maybe you need to make sure you're praying the will of God and asking him to do his will, because in reality, that's his obligation. He— to uphold his word, to uphold his truth. You're too busy worrying about how you feel, how you sound when you pray. If you cry when you pray, if you get emotional— ah, no, no, no, no. What moves God? Two things move God in prayer. Number one, faith, because without faith it is impossible to please the Lord, right? Right. Okay, that's what moves him. Secondly, he's listening for his voice. He comes into agreement with what he's already said. So he can uphold the integrity of his word. 1 John 5:14 said we ask anything according to his will, he does it. His will is his word, so I gotta ask it according to his will. Oh my God, oh my God, let me deal with that. Yeah, let me deal with that. Ahiyaga. This for somebody, I don't know if you're on here or if it's gonna be somebody on replay, but let me deal with this spirit of slander. Because slander operates inside of the spirit of greed. Because again, when you see somebody else that has what you want and you're not getting what you want, you go into strife and conflict and the manifestation that you actually are in strife because you begin to slander them. Listen, you could be— oh my God— a lady that's on the slim side, and you know, women are notorious for this kind of crap, man. They'll see other women, and because they become insecure about something about that woman, instead of celebrating the good things about what they see in a pure way, they begin to try to find fault in the person. I've seen slender women see a, a heavyset woman who's beautiful and say, oh my God, she's so pretty, but she needs to lose some of that weight, and say in a very judgmental way. Well, I don't know, vice versa. I've seen heavyset women see a slender woman and say, oh my God, she don't look good in the face, she got a good body to try to make them feel good about their insecurities. And really, you don't have to do that. You just have to be pleased with who God made you. I don't look at men that have six-packs and, and biceps and triceps and, and start trying to slam them. Oh, they ain't saved. They ain't smart as me. Yeah, they ain't doing what I'm doing. No, I don't do that. I said, God, you help me to weigh what I'm supposed to weigh. That's a prayer you can pray during this fast. It could be one of your confessions and seeking God. God, help me to eat what I'm supposed to eat, exercise daily. Dear God, I decree and declare that I weigh what I'm supposed to weigh. I weigh, God, what you want me to weigh. I am a living manifestation of what you, Father, want me to look like, you know. And that'll keep you from slandering others. You know, I remember one time, you know, I, you know, sometimes family members can be the most judgmental, devilish people on the planet. I remember, you know, one time when Rachel and I were married— God bless her soul, Rachel is in heaven— and, um, listen, we have bought a Lexus, a new LS400, brand new, uh And we were living in Mississippi at the time, and because people often are intimidated by you, uh, we were having a family function, uh, at my cousin Tracy's house. Uh, Tracy was like a brother to me. So we drove in from Mississippi, Rachel and I, uh, to this function at his house, drove up in our brand new Lexus, you know. In my mind, I'm the guy that everybody said would never make it and always, you know, never thought I would win. And figured when they see me pull up and the kind of prosperity God has blessed me with, they're going to rejoice, they're going to be happy. And you know, my father, my mom, my dad, everybody's going to be pleased and excited and congratulatory. Matter of fact, one person had the unmitigated gall, the audacity to say, the auction to utter out of their mouth. And I heard them, they were whispering to another person, they said, oh, I saw his car, you know, he ain't gonna have it long, he gonna lose it because he don't know how to keep nothing. And I was like, whoa, I said to myself, whoa. I got my little wife, I said to my cousin, I said, man, I love you, but I got to get out of here. Because, yeah, I feel real bad. I'm hurt by something that was said. We'll talk about it later, but I gotta go now before I go off. See, the reality is people are okay as long as you're losing. Oh God, have mercy. Oh my God. People are okay as long as you're in the dirt robbing Peter to pay Paul, you need to call them for help. Oh boy, I got so many stories like that, that how family members— hear me— have hated on my progress, and it got back to me, or I heard it myself. Some bold enough to say to my face and express their judgment. But I've taken it, glory to God, and I'm gonna keep taking it because you know what it does? It's fuel. Yeah, for me to keep aligning myself with the will of God and doing what God has called me to do and inspiring those that will be inspired by my success, by my productivity. Stop worrying about these Negroes. Yeah, wanted to say something else, but we is fasting these 21 days and we're gonna get that all the way out vocabulary. Glory to God. Hallelujah. Glory. We'll crucify that. Praise God. Stop worrying about these Negroes. Oh my God, they can't celebrate you. Matter of fact, glory to God, Stephen Covey said this. A lot of preachers took it years ago, but Stephen Covey said this about 28 years ago. Stephen Covey said, never go where you're just tolerated, go where you're celebrated. I think I'll say that to you prophetically. Stop showing up in rooms where people just tolerate you and go to places where they celebrate your anointing, where they celebrate your value, where they celebrate your uniqueness, where they celebrate who you are and who God has made you to be. You do not have to subject yourself to slander. And for God's sake, hear me. Oh, that's right, Kierra. That's right, daughter. Praise him. I speak to you now. You keep showing up in places with that bright, beautiful smile and that joy that's in your soul. Glory to God. You keep letting God advance you, and you refuse to go back to what God brought you out of to accommodate the word curses of people that wish they were increasing and becoming the person you are. And that goes for anybody else. I need you to understand, glory to God, God has more for you, and you don't need to slander anybody because of their progress. The scripture declares, rejoice with them that rejoice. Oh my God. And that person that said that, glory to God, is a leader in the church. A demon. Glory to God. I'm telling— I'm not pulling no punches this year. Glory to God. I'm not putting no punches with people who— I don't care, family members, friends, I'm calling it like it is. Glory to God. When my books come out, some of them gonna be real surprised because they are exposed in my books. Glory to God, because at the end of the day, I'm not pulling no punches. The reality is I'm healed, I'm delivered, I'm free, I'm blessed, I'm prosperous, I'm God's son, and I ain't got time for demonic voices of slander coming at me. And I'm not gonna slander you because you know what, I ain't got time for that. But I am going to tell the truth, and I am going to walk out my soul salvation. Glory to God. With fear and trembling. I listen, I don't have time for people. That's why I, I choose, you know, you can have a family of choice, a family of covenant, hear me, or family of culture. The family of culture is the family you got because you were born into it. You ain't necessarily Are you hearing me? Listen to me. Got to embrace that unit as your family of choice, because the Bible says, who is my mother? Jesus said this. Who is my father? Who's my brother? Who's my sister? Them that do the will of God. Basically, them that celebrate the will of God for my life. Those are the ones you embrace. I don't have time for Negroes who— yeah, but I'm telling you, that word is going to die this year. That word— oh my God, yeah, I said Negroes. Glory to God. But that other word is going to die. The other N-word is going— it's dying. It's dead. I declare it's dead in my tongue in the name of Jesus. But I'm not going to tolerate it. Who sit up— hear me— with their judgmental self smile in your face, laugh in your face, and when you're not around them, they got everything to say. I don't have time for you. My name is Michael Woods, and I approve this message that I'm teaching right now. The Holy Ghost approves it, and God disapproves of that kind of activity. And I ain't the one to be sitting around waiting for you to like me. Oh God, because guess what? If you ain't got a revelation, you're gonna always violate me anyway. When people don't have a revelation of you, they're going to violate you. So I ain't wasting no time. Oh God, God, I give you the glory. Y'all excuse me, y'all excuse me. I, I really wasn't supposed to stay on that that long, but the Holy Spirit took over because what I just said needed to be said. Because some of you are bound, you are in bondage by people who have greedy spirits, and you're living for their approval. A long time ago, I learned to live for the audience of one. That's what I do every day. I live for the audience of one. I live for the audience of one. You know who that is? That's God. He's my audience. I live to please him. I suggest, family, I suggest you get in practice with living for the audience of one, living to please— living to please him. I ain't sitting around waiting for you to like me. Hey Prophet George, I love you, girl. Good to see you. Yeah, you need to stop waiting around to get folks' approval. He already approved you. He already calls you his masterpiece. Glory to Jesus. We, we got it this morning in prayer. We're a peculiar people. Why you waiting? Ah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, on somebody to approve of you. Glory to accept who God says you are. Thank you, Jesus. Wonderful Savior. Mighty God. Oh my God, today. Well, Yeah, God, let me keep going. So again, I was getting ready to define slander before I got arrested by the Holy Ghost. It's gonna be a good 21 days, y'all. Oh God, we gonna be better after these 21 days. We gonna have power, we gonna have more fire. Oh my God, hallelujah! The glory of the Lord is going to shine through us, it's going to be upon our countenance. We gonna see salvation happen in the name of Jesus. Glory to God for others, we're coming out victorious. So slander— let me keep moving, let me, let me keep moving. I got, I got a little ways to go, I'm almost done. I got 13 minutes to finish this. Glory to God, are y'all being blessed? Glory to God. That's right, Minister Anderson, people Need to be healed from people. That's so good. It's so the truth. Glory to God. Hallelujah. We have approval addiction. We are addicted to being approved by others. So right now, in the name of Jesus, I decree and declare that by the power of God, lebe soto, sho, Bransébé papaya poso rebésa pa soto rambakan tetenebé. I command the spirit of approval addiction to be broken now in the name of Jesus of your life. I command in the name of Jesus that the only approval you'll seek from this day forward will be of God. You, Osha, I declare you'll never walk on pins and needles and be nervous to talk and be nervous to speak up and be yourself around people another day. I decree and declare that the spirit of approval addiction is being broken off of you now. And oh God, rebis! And you're free to be you. Oh my God, in the name of Jesus. Oh my God, this is why Glory to God that we have so many fake people in the church. Oh my God, who try to be things they are not because they're insecure in themselves and who God made them, and they don't trust what God is doing in them, so they try to be something else to appease people. Stop being fake for others, they ain't worth it. Glory to God. They're not worth it. I'm gonna say it one more time, they're not worth it. Get your mind right. Accept who you are. You're valuable. Oh my God, you're authentic. You're precious. Again, we got it this morning. You're peculiar. You're a royal priesthood. You are a holy nation. You've been transformed out of darkness into his marvelous light. You've been transformed out of the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of his dear son. You are special. You are his special people called to a special purpose, and he has named you glorious. He's named you son. Walk in who you are. You are his family. Oh God, hey, I feel the Holy Spirit We're gonna be better after this fast. We're gonna be better. We're gonna conquer some things. We're gonna take territory. Glory to God. I hear you, Father. Our borders are going to be enlarged. New things are going to come forth and emerge after this fast. Great things are going to come alive in us after this fast. Oh my God, oh my God. Oh Jesus, I love you, Jesus. Let me keep moving. So slander, I'm trying to define slander, really. That's where I'm at in my notes. I'm trying to define slander for you. Oh, let me define it. The Holy Spirit keeps arresting me. Can I define it? Holy Spirit, please, please. Hallelujah. Glory to Jesus. Oh God. All right. Slander, it is, is finding fault with people and their conduct and then spreading criticism to others. Wow. So it's a lot of that that goes on in our world, especially in this connected world to the internet. There's a lot of slander that happens with Christians. So let's say, for example, A negative situation arises with a preacher. Someone worldly posts that. The church gets on the bandwagon and starts sharing it. You have become a slanderer. You don't have to agree with what they did, or you can believe that what they did— if you feel like they did it but you don't need to slander them. Because many times, especially preachers are notorious for doing— especially the preacher who has thousands of members, thousands, millions of followers. Yeah, very influential, on the COVID of Time magazine, all the stuff. Preachers who don't have that— oh, this is my opportunity to feel good about myself, let me share that. It's not your job. Touch not my anointed, neither do my prophet no harm. You leave judgment of God's vessels, God's men and God's women, up to God. Keep your mouth off God's preachers. Keep your mouth off the men of God, especially there's a man of God that have been in the media lately, watch this. This is the first time they ever been in the media with a scandal. All right, okay. I'm not calling his name because I don't want to keep this alive, but what I'm saying is, but I'm trying to teach a point, that the next time this kind of stuff comes up, you stop hitting the share button, you stop texting people or asking people, ooh child, did you hear about something? You just became a slanderer. Your posture should be prayer. What if the person you talking to didn't hear about it? But what if that person went to one of their conferences and got free, got loose, got changed by a word they spoke, and you discouraged them by leading them to some trash that only God can fix? Oh boy. Keep your mouth off God's vessels. You may not agree with the conduct. It's not your place to speak on it. Not your place. Not your place to speak on what somebody— who gave you authority to talk about what somebody does in their church? Maybe you're mad because you don't have that many people in your church. Glory to God. Maybe you're mad because 175 people didn't get saved in your church that Sunday. Keep your mouth off God's preachers. I have preachers that be sending the stuff to my inbox saying, hey Apostle, did you see this? I immediately say, stop sending me this stuff. I don't care. Pray for them. That'd be my response. I know they'd be saying, Apostle, you think you all that. Yeah, I don't think I'm all that. I just know what I'm supposed to be doing. And I ain't got time to be a judge of another man. I got work to do. And I— what you need to be doing instead of being on the internet scrolling all day is doing the work of the Lord instead of sending me an inbox about somebody swag surfing in their church. I'm not the pastor there. I'm not his spiritual authority. There's nothing I could do but pray. And know what I'm supposed to do. It's a greedy spirit because you ain't getting what you want, so you want— oh, it's a greedy spirit because you ain't getting what you want, so you slander somebody else because you ain't got what they got. Oh boy, people couldn't wait to spread this crap. God bless Eddie Long and his soul. Bishop Eddie Long was one of the greatest pastors ever to live on this earth, and he was one of the greatest pastors in Atlanta, Georgia. Eddie Long did more for this city and this state than any pastor I know. He was a great leader. That's why he had so many people. He was a great preacher. He was a theologian. He was a revelator. He loved God. I have nothing to do with his issues. Or what people think about him. I never would spread that debauchery. That's crazy, because at the end of the day, you have to consider yourself. Oh boy. Oh my God. Oh my God. Oh my God. We gonna go. We gonna go. Cause yeah, I'm just trying to give you the definition of slander. That, that really— and how it connects to a greedy spirit. You're greedy. That's why you talk about people. That's why you gossip. That's why you got conflict, because you're greedy. Shout it! Yeah, yeah, great. So, yeah, Lord. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You, you greedy, man. You need deliverance. You need freedom. Rebansata baman dosi. Yes, Lord. You want what they got, so you talking. Celebrate that sister when her business is prospering instead of running your mouth. Celebrate that sister when she gets a husband. Maybe God will give you one. Oh, celebrate the blessing that that sister has in how her husband treats her. Baby, God will give you a good man if you rejoice with them. Come on, Sean, I need you to do right. Rabba satabakoria, lebe satabadi, nusa yemenke aso. Yeah, Lord, we're gonna be better after this fast. Rabba satabakosi, ere sonayante bosai. We give you glory. Hondabayah, we give you honor. That's right, Prophet. Yeah, yeah, but listen today, glory to God. Finding fault with people and their conduct and then spreading criticism to others. Watch this, the word slander in Greek is the word diabolos. Which means evil or devil. So when you slander, when you hit that share button or open your mouth and judge somebody's conduct, you can be displeased with it, but your job is to pray, not judge them, not pick up the phone and start texting people about what you heard. We give you glory, God. We bless you. So let's— we're talking about the spirit of greed. I got to get out of here. I got 60 seconds. I'm supposed to be on here an hour, from 12 to 1. Just, just give me 5 more minutes, I'm gonna get through it. Let me define greed for you because I need you to see this spirit. I think we've already pretty much defined it, but I want you to see it in, in a definitive value. Come on. The Bible says, oh God, that greed is a very serious offense. We're going to read that in a moment. But I want to define this to you. Greed is to covet, to have an intense desire for— listen— to lust after, to envy, and to be jealous. So it ain't that you just want a whole lot of stuff, but it's you coveting somebody else's husband. You I had a dummy, okay? I'm just gonna— the Bible say it's a fool that says there's no God, so I'm gonna just be nice and call him a dummy. I had a dummy because they couldn't discern who I was, so they sent me an inbox dummy, okay, and say, I see all these pictures you posted your wife, y'all in Hawaii, y'all at the game, you loving on her, you do this for her, you do that for her, but she don't never post no pictures about you. But, and I think you really made a mistake and married the wrong person anyway. You should have kept looking, and it should have been me, huh, dummy? Because you have not— you're coveting after what Felicia has. Come on, I ain't going nowhere. I'm sorry, listen, I don't care how fine you are. I, I don't care. I'm where God has planted me, so you don't need to send me no inbox about what I should have did. I know what I should have did. And here's what I do know: God ain't about to put my mail in your mailbox. Oh, glory to God! He about to tell you what he done already told me and have you come to me and tell me I'm wrong. No, Felicia Woods is my wife. You dummy are out of order. Now I'm saying it this way because I should have shared your whole inbox on Facebook, but I didn't want to be a slanderer. Hallelujah! Glory to God! I gotta practice what I preach. Now I'm saying that to say though You need to stop coveting what belongs to other people. You have your own stuff. God has his own plans for you. There's some things— there's a husband that's just for you, there's a house that's just for you, there's money that's just for you, there's a business that's just for you. Oh my God, there's success that's just for you. So you ain't got to get mad about what God's doing through anybody else. Oh my God. There's more just for you. You ain't got to have greed, man. Oh my God, you ain't got to be greedy and covered up with somebody else's stuff. You sitting around with that greedy spirit wondering why God did that for them, it should have been me, or why they didn't pick me, why he didn't see me, or why she didn't see— come on, man, come on, man, get it together, snap out of it. You're greedy. Come on, Shawty, snap out of it. You're greedy, and I need you. I need you to realize that there's a plan for your life that's for you. May not be the people that's on here, but if you're watching by replay, this is for you. Glory to God. God. Shabaya. Stop coveting. Stop having lust for other folks' stuff. Watch this. One of my core beliefs about lust— thank you, Holy Spirit— is, is that lust is one of those things that you want it so bad. Hear me. That you can't even be happy without it. You miserable because you can't get it, and that's connected to greed, man. You are happy because you lusting after something so bad, and so you just miserable because you can't get it. I'll use myself as an example. I've been there, man, and I'm transparent enough to tell you All right, I've been there. That was a season of my life. Glory to God. I wanted to have nice shoes so bad, right? Because when I first went full-time in ministry— true story, I've been in full-time ministry this year 35 years. That's something to praise God for. Hallelujah! I celebrate 55 years of life, 35 years of ministry this year, and I'm gonna celebrate real big. That's a milestone. But anyway, that was a season when I first went full-time and I was traveling preaching. I had one pair of shoes. It was a pair of black Cole Haan patent leather shoes that I loved. As a matter of fact, I didn't even buy them, somebody gave them to me. Okay, um, I had one black suit, it was polyester. Poly and ester. I get to preaching and sweating, and I used to preach hard back in the day. I'm talking about preach hard. I'm climbing on benches, all kind of— wow, I was a wild preacher. I get to sweating, that polyester get to sticking to my body. Them sisters be fighting that cheap fabric. But that's all I had. I had one black suit. I would travel with one black suit and— watch this— I have to wash that polyester and iron it. Oh my God. And when you iron polyester, it shines. So that black be shining. People say, oh, you in the glory. No, that suit was just cheap. Oh my God, that suit was cheap. It was so cheap. Glory to God. But I longed— hear me— I longed for good shoes, man, because I preach every night. I would do revivals 5 days, some 7 days. I mean, some revivals I would go, we'd be scheduled for 7 days, Sunday to Sunday. We end up doing 14, 21 days, an entire month. God will break out revival, people getting saved, delivered, filled with the Holy Ghost. Just a wonderful, wonderful, wonderful time. But I was suffering in my feet. I preached so much in those shoes that holes began to form in the bottom of the shoe so much. So I get to preaching, I would kick my shoes off, and the mothers be like, oh my God, he's moving to another place, he took his shoes off like Moses, he's going to holy ground. No, No, Mama, that ain't what it is. These shoes are hurting my feet, okay? And that's why I'm taking them off. My, my heat— the, the, the top of my foot is rubbing on the floor, so I might as well just walk around in my socks anyway. So I longed, I lusted after shoes. So I'll be so unhappy. I will see people with Gators, man, I would be so unhappy that they had Gators on. And I'd be preaching to the people with gators on. I go to other preachers' churches, they had nice leather shoes and nice suits. And I'm, I'm longing for this. And the Holy Spirit said to me one night in my hotel room, he said, am I not blessing you without that? Am I not using you? He said, what you've done is sat here and wanted what someone else had, but because you didn't have the money to buy it, you didn't ask me for it because you base you having it or what you had in the bank. He said, son, ask me for it. And you know what? I started praying for shoes. And my wife Felicia Woods is on the verge of putting me out of the house right now because I have so many pairs of shoes. I have so many shoes now, I almost don't have a place to put them all. I have golf shoes, I have dress shoes, I have sneakers. I have so many crocodile shoes that are crawling around in my closet, but it came through prayer, man. And I had to get rid of that covetous idea of love. And even down to the point I would talk about walking around in them pretty shoes, but you ain't anointed. Oh boy, oh boy, but you can't prophesy. You got gators on, but you ain't no prophet like me. That was wrong. That was wrong. I was young, I was immature, and I just didn't know that I could ask God for what I wanted. Oh my God, I don't know if Felicia just said amen to my shoes and about to put me out or what. All the time she emerging types. Amen. Glory to God. Glory to God. We're gonna, we're gonna go through May and we're gonna, we're gonna have a, a, a, a— people, we're gonna find everybody where 11, 11 and a half, and we're gonna just start giving stuff away. Glory to God. Because I, I got to have a place to live. Praise God. Wonderful Jesus. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. She said, yeah, I said amen to you. So y'all pray that the woman of God do not put me out of the house. Glory to God. Behind these shoes. But I'm just trying to tell you, if you break this spirit of greed, you ain't got to want it. God will cause you to walk in overflow. The very thing you were greedy of, the very thing you were greedy of. You'll start having a super abundance of that thing if you let it go and stop lusting after it and let God be God. Go to Ephesians 5. I got to get out of here, man. I got to get out of here. Go to Ephesians 5. Ephesians 5. Thank y'all for staying with me. Thank y'all. Thank y'all so much. I'm almost done. Glory to God. Prophet Tawanda says she bet it was shoes. It was. Glory to God. Hallelujah. Thank you, Jesus. Oh God, I love you. I praise you. I give you glory. Ah, I give you honor. But you know what, that thing will overflow so that the people connected to you, it'll start happening to them. Same thing happened to my son Apostle Brandon. Apostle Brandon will see my shoes and be like, man, I love them shoes, I like them. And now this dude has an abundance. We were talking the other day, he asked me how many pair of shoes I got. I text him back and he text me back how many he got. And I thought, I said, man, you are on my heels, you're about to catch me. Glory to God. Because when you understand that you can ask God for what you want, he'll give it to you when you just let go that intense that's desire for it. Just want him more than anything. Just seek him and he'll add the things to you. Seek ye therefore first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added. You ain't got to be jealous of nobody. That's Matthew 6:33. We got to get out of here, man. Ephesians 5, verse 5. Let's go, let's go. I gotta go, y'all. Watch this. He said, for no— know this, you, you know this, that no whoremonger, listen, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, nor idolator have any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. Wait a minute. Let no man deceive you with vain words. Here we go. For because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. Verse 7, which is what I need you to hear: Be not ye therefore partakers with them. So let's back up. He said this, you know, all right? If you didn't know, now you know that no whoremonger— y'all know what a whoremonger is, right? The word whoremonger here is pornos. P-O-R-N-O-S is the root of words like pornography. Uh, pornos here deals with the idea of a human who prostitutes their body, male or female, that sells their body for money. This deals with a— not— and watch this, this ain't just a prostitute in traditional sense. Oh boy, here we go. For, for you prostitutes out there that you ain't on the corner, you ain't a part of an escort service, But you date and you give up your cookie— are you hearing me— to get your light bill paid, huh? Or you give up your cookie to get your condo paid. You give up your cookie to get that new dress, them new shoes. Uh, that's a whoremonger. I have a better word for it. It's a hoe. It's a hoe. That's what we used to call the hormone, a hoe. Yeah, uh, not a garden tool, a hoe. You, you are exchanging your body, male or female, so you can get what you— there's some manipulating men, y'all. I gotta say, they prostitutes. They'll sleep with women to get what they want so they can eat, so they can get money, so they can Oh my God, get them to buy them things that they ought to get they sorry lazy greasy tail up and work themselves. Oh boy, oh my God, today— Eba sandolo bo shiaya. Hey Apostle, God bless you, mother, we love you. Glory to God. Apostle Betty Harris will be 80 years old this month. Glory to God. Make sure y'all follow her page and come out and celebrate her 80th birthday with her. I'm gonna be there. I am super excited about watching mother continue to sow in the things of God. Glory to God. God bless you, Mom. We love you. Glory to God. Listen, okay, here we go, here we go, here we go. Because women, you got to be careful that you don't hook up with men who are sorry and whoremongers. All they want to do is get in your pants and then manipulate you and your heart to do things for them, and they're not really there for you. That's a dangerous place, man. Okay, I'm gonna let it go. I'm gonna— somebody said, 'Possibly you, you, you,' okay, I'm teaching too long. I know it, I know it, I know it, I know it. So no among the— no unclean person. Nasty, filthy. All right, hoarders, come on. You, you, this is, this deals with you cleaning yourself, your physical body, and cleaning your temple. Come on. So on this 21-day fast, that's why we got some strict diets on this 21-day fast. We have taken meat, fish, chicken, all of the starch, all of the sugar. Listen, and don't y'all be out here eating no Impossible Meat Hear me? Don't be eating, drinking no Coke Zeros, no sodas. That's still a soda. No sugar, no Kool-Aid. Glory to God. Because we trying to get our temple inside clean. You know what? You can't be here to fulfill your purpose if you kill it with food. So part of this discipline Oh boy, that— you make sure you tune in Thursday night. God gave me a word about— because we're teaching a series on the fast called Burning Ones Fast. Fasting One Burns. Thursday night we're going to talk about— oh my God— the power of discipline and what that means when we fast. Let me tell you something, there's something that's got to happen on the inside so you can make sure you're here to do your purpose. Then you need to physically clean up, man. In your house. Clean up your house. Dirty kitchen, clothes everywhere. Clean up. Okay. Yeah, man. Yeah, man. He said no covetous man. There it is. Greedy. That word covetous is greedy, lustful man. So just like the whole can inherit the kingdom, just like the unclean person, this person that operates in greed, the slanderous lustful person. Oh my God, oh my God, they can't inherit the kingdom, the royal authority of God. We talked about this Sunday, man. The kingdom is the royal authority of God, and we all have a right to it. I'm close, I'm coming quickly to a close. All right, all right, all right, because I'm boring y'all. Let me keep going. So greedy people are idolaters according to the scripture. The Bible said you are an idolator because you idolize what you want and worship it more than you do God. You have made what you desire an idol, even if it's to get a bill paid, even it's for money. You start idolizing that and you put it before God. I've been to hit you in the jugular right here. For you non-tithers. You have made your paycheck an idol. And because you disobey God, the Bible says here in Ephesians, you are a child of disobedience, and you idolize that 10% more than you do obeying God to bring to him what belongs to him. It ain't yours. Oh, y'all gonna get off now? Uh-huh. I knew it, I knew it, I knew it. I— the number was gonna start dropping right then. We lost 5 people the moment I said tithe, because you in idolatry, because you think you're just gonna be blessed holding all your money. You think you got a good excuse for holding all your money. No, you're cursed and you're idolator. Bottom line, point blank in the story, the tent is holy unto God, so it doesn't belong to you. You operate on the 90%. So I'm gonna hit that and leave. I'm gone. Yes, Shawty, I'm telling you, I'm not pulling no punches these 21 days. So, so you better get ready to change. You better get ready to be better. You better get ready to grow. You better get ready to increase. We're throwing the excuses out of the window. We're going to become obedient and we're going to do what we got to do. Jesus, we bless you. You worshiping, you, you can't even be obedient, but you praying for money. You're praying for God to give you material blessings, but you won't put yourself in a position to be blessed. You're in your own way because you're idolizing 10%. Guess what? You got a whole 90% left to have to trust God and move in faith with. 10% is just a pinch. You know what it is? That's a dime, 10 cents out of a dollar, and we idolize that dime. You are idolater and you need to be free. And this fast— ah, Shabba Montauk, rather— church is going to be a 100% fasting, tithing church after this consecration because some of y'all sleep. You ain't got it. And Shawty, you need to wake up. You, you struggling financially not because you don't come to church and because you don't worship and because you don't love God. You struggling because you don't tithe, Shawty. Come on and stop complaining about what you're permitting. Nothing's turning because you're trusting in your insecurity and you do not trust God. You say, oh yes I do, I trust God. No, I can't tell. I can't tell. I'm your father, I'm your leader, I'm your apostle. I see it. This ain't for the people that ain't connected to our church, that this for they pastor to tell them to do. But if I'm your pastor, if I'm your apostle, if I'm your spiritual father in any of that above, you need to hear me out. You need to stop robbing God. You coming in the church every We with a.45, a Uzi, and spraying God. Malachi said, will a man rob God? Yes, he will, in tithes and in offering. He asked the question for you because you won't answer it honest. Well, that's for the Old Testament. No, it's not. You want to go by the New Testament? Okay, New Testament says bring everything, sell all your goods and bring your gifts to the apostles' feet. So what you want to do, you want to give the 10% that Jesus allowed you to fulfill the law in and let that be represent the whole, or you want to bring everything? Stop idolating that pinch. It's just a pinch. Oh my God, it's just a dime out of every dollar. You wonder why your finances ain't right because the first fruits of all your increase belong to God. And you got to, you got to ask yourself the question like they did in Malachi: wherein have I robbed God? Yes, in tithes and in offerings. He said, do this and I'm going to prove myself to you. See that alarm right there telling me I've been teaching way too long. I'm gonna get off here, man. I'm gonna get off. Let me get off. We just read that these sins— did y'all, did y'all read it? That these sins bring the wrath of God. We read that, right? We read that orge in Greek is the wrath of God, and that's the anger of God. We don't want to fall into the hands of an angry God, people. By putting what we desire, our lusts, over him. Oh my God, today, yeah, it's quiet in the camp right now. I know, I know, but I love you and I'm trying to help you. Stop idolizing your desires and being an idolator, putting them before God. Stop lusting in your flesh. And that ain't just sexual. We've already defined it, so you know it's not just sexual. You can lust after somebody else's stuff. You can lust after something that doesn't align with your purpose. You can lust after a position or title that you ain't even called to, and you make it an idol, and you invoke the wrath of God. What I don't want to do is invoke his wrath. I have been on the other end of God's anger before. Hear me, this your father talking. That's why I teach to you so passionately, because I've been on the other end of God's anger before, and it ain't pretty. I'm telling you right now, it ain't pretty. So I need you to get yourself together. We about to close so I can pray, man. Jesus, listen, I want to challenge you to not even associate yourself— hear me— with people who operate in this spirit of greed. When people are greedy and you see that covetousness, that lust on their life, and you see they're never satisfied permanently by anything Go the other way. Pray for them, go the other way, because I'm telling you right now, it's contagious, it's frustrating, and it's toxic. It starts put— imparting impurities in your spirit and in your life, and you do not want that. Walk away. Pray for them, walk away. You don't want that divisiveness. I'm almost done, man. Glory to God. Good God from Zion. Can I read that, God? Yeah, I'll read it. 1 Corinthians. I'm closing, I'm closed. This is the last scripture. I'm closing, I'm done. Stay with me, do not leave. Stay with me. Glory to God. 1 Corinthians. 1 Corinthians. I want to go to 5. 1 Corinthians 5. I love y'all. Hallelujah. 1 Corinthians 5. 9. Let's start at 9. You ready? The Bible says, I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators. Uh-oh. So that's important, right? Again, pornos, people that— this part, this is porn. So there's pornos And it's porné. Porné, this is just people that just have sex outside of marriage. So the Bible says that you don't need to keep company with them because it will influence you to do the same thing. Are we here? Glory to God. He said in verse 10, yet not altogether with the fornicators, but also— here we go— with the covetous. Oh boy. The Plinonectes, Plinonectes, those that carry greedy conscience, those that carry out a greedy— that's what Pliny, oh my God, Niketos is. It means those that are greedy and lustful and carry out acts of greed. The Bible said don't associate yourself with them. Or extortioners. Oh my God. Or with idolaters. Cursed people. Yeah, people who worship idols, people who worship the 10th. Yeah. For then must ye needs go out of the world. Wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute. But now I read unto you not to keep company if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator or covetous or idolator a whorrella, or a drunkard, or extortioner. Will such one know not to eat? So don't fellowship, don't eat, don't entertain people who are basically living beneath their privilege, living in sin, missing the mark, operating in strife, operating in greed. God says if you do this It's better that you not even be on earth. He said you need to go out of the world. You just need to leave this world. Now you can do that two ways. You can physically die and go to heaven, or you can experience heaven on earth by keeping this stuff out of your life. I'm done, I'm done. I gotta quit, I gotta quit. Glory to God, I gotta quit. Let me just go over 1 Corinthians 6:9. 1 Corinthians 6:9. I want to just read it. And 9, glory to God, it says, know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? So those who are unrighteous, unrighteous, those who are in sin, atikos, those who miss the mark, those who violate God's way of doing things, that's what atikos is. The unrighteous, those who are not right in alignment, not accurate with what God says. Oh my God, he says you won't inherit the kingdom, the basilia in Greek, the royal authority, the royal power of God. It says to me that I can have it. We talked about that Sunday, so I'm not going to get into it, but the reality is you can have the full measure of the kingdom operating in your life, and it's only limited in your activity and how you act and how you behave. Be not deceived, neither fornicators nor idolaters nor adulterers nor effeminate— oh, here we So the fornicator, the idolater, the adulterer, and the effeminate, which is the homosexual, okay, okay, or abusing of themselves with mankind. That's the— that's all this bondage sexual stuff. That's— this represents all this— oh my God— unnatural affection that takes place. He puts it all in the same sentence. Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners shall inherit the kingdom of God. But here's the victory, guys. Here's the victory. And such were some of you. I'm talking to ex-hoes, ex-liers, ex-drunks. Oh my God, ex-pimps, ex-prostitutes. I'm talking to you on this live today or by replay. Some of you got— oh my God— ex-cussers, ex-extortioners, ex-greedy people, ex-weed smokers, crack smokers, ex-alcoholics. But the Bible says you are washed. Oh my God, you ought to rejoice today because you are washed. Glory to God, you are washed. And you got to refuse to go back. I thank God I'm washed in the blood of Jesus, and I refuse to go back to the place that I came from. I refuse to return to that life of emptiness. Glory to God. I refuse to return to darkness. I refuse to return to confusion and the ways of the enemy. I choose God. Is there anybody here today that says, Apostle Woods, I'm washed, I'm clean, I'm not what I used to be, Yes, I was that, and I refuse to go back. I'm not greedy. I'm satisfied with Jesus. Oh my God, today he said you're washed. Not only you wash, but you sanctified. Oh my God, it's the Bible. The Bible said, yeah, you've been set aside. Oh my God, for a particular task, a particular assignment. A unique purpose that only you can perform. You are sanctified. You are sanctified. Glory to God. You're unique to this world. The world is better because you are alive. And wait a minute, you're also justified. Dakai ou, dakai iou. Yeah, I think I got it. Dakai iou. Yes, Lord. The scripture declares there that you're justified. That you've been made righteous by another. Oh boy, I'm putting my iPad down. That even before you sinned, you were justified by the blood of Jesus. He cleansed you, he washed you. So there's no reason for you to be guilty when you fall short. There's no reason for you to feel less than when you fall short. All you need to do is repent, get up, dust yourself off, and keep it moving, and bow. I'm never going back there again. Embrace the guilt that comes with— embrace the conviction and say, I don't like this. I don't like the feeling of being separate from God. And move into your purpose because you're not greedy. You're not what they are saying you are. You're God's daughter. You're God's son. You're his choice possession. Glory to God. I want to pray. Yeah, I want to pray. Glory to God. I want to pray. I gotta stop. I've been on here an hour and 33 minutes teaching. Thank all of you that stayed with me. These 21 days are going to be profound. Guess what? I got you closer to 3 o'clock eating on the word. Glory to God. Get off this live, feast on this word some more. Glory to God. Because we eat at 3, or after 3, whenever you choose. I believe this fast is doing something. I want to pray first of all if there are any persons on this live You're not born again. Maybe you're watching this live or by replay. I'm following the instructions of the Lord. If you're not saved, the Bible says in Acts 2:38, it says, be baptized, every one of you, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and be filled with the Holy Ghost, and repent of your sins, and you shall be be saved. I want to do the first part with you today. I'm going to take you through this prayer of repentance so you can receive forgiveness of your sin. I want to pray that you be filled with the baptism of the Holy Ghost today, even as you pray with me. And then I want to challenge you, if you're in the Atlanta area, get in contact with us at Rhoda Church so we can get you baptized. Glory to God. Hallelujah! Because we want you to be a part of the kingdom family. I'm not inviting you to church, I'm inviting you to be a part of a kingdom family that is global, the largest family in the world, the richest family in the world. I'm inviting you to be born again. So if you know your business is not straight and if you died today you would go to hell, I want you to pray with me now. And I need every saint praying that these lies— while I'm praying now, I need you pray with me that these live broadcasts, oh my God, that they will reach the people and that lives will be changed, that people will be saved. Glory to God. So let's pray. Father, in the name of Jesus, I'm praying for that person that's watching this teaching and they stayed to the end, God, because you had a plan for them. And Father, your word says no man come to you except you draw them. So something about this live drew them today, whether they're live or by replay, they're here and they're here now, God. And as your servant, I'm praying for them. So Father, I pray that you will purify their heart now with your blood and open their mind to receive not religion but relationship with you, that they may know the King. I pray, God, in the name of Jesus, that through learning, through obedience and submission to your will, they will receive the kingdom in the fullness, and you will sit on the throne of their life. And I declare it in Jesus' name. And I pray, God, even as they confess their sin today, you will fill them with the Holy Spirit, with the evidence of speaking in other tongues. I decree and declare it now in Jesus' name. Listen, if you're not born again, and again, if you know your business with God is not straight, you know you're living in sin, Maybe you, maybe you were saved before and you backslid. Maybe that's you. But either way, if you know you— if you died and dropped dead right now, you wouldn't go to heaven. I need you to repeat after me. Say this with me. Say, Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, I confess my sin and I ask you forgive me of all my sins. Say, Lord, I believe that you died and rose again. Say, Lord, I open my heart and I invite you in. Say, come in, Jesus, and live in me. Say, Father, I receive you, and I declare today, by your blood shed at Calvary, I am forgiven. I am saved. Amen and amen. Listen, if you pray with us today, the angels in heaven— oh my God— are rejoicing because you gave your life to God. Matter of fact, the scripture actually says that, that the angels of heaven rejoice at the coming of just one. So if you pray with us today Heaven is having a party on your behalf now, not because you entered into some religious thing, because you get to experience the glorious light of Jesus Christ in your life here and now on earth. Listen, if you prayed that prayer, I simply want you to visit rhodochurch.com/contact. There's a box there. I want you to fill out that box and just simply send us an email, say, hey, Apostle Woods, I prayed with you today. I gave my life to Jesus. I would like information on the next steps. Not second quarter, not third quarter, first quarter. We're believing God that we'll— oh my God, we will find the building that's for Rhoda Church Atlanta. We'll be able to start putting a contract on it. We'll have our down payment. We'll be moving forward. I need your help to do that.
