The Spirit of Jealousy, Part 2 | 21 Days of Action, Day 3 | Dr. Mike Woods, Sr.

In this 21‑day “Taking Action Against Strife” series, Dr. Mike Woods, Sr. delivers the third day’s teaching, focusing on the spirit of jealousy and its role within the broader demonic stronghold of strife. He opens with a call to unity, fasting for fire, and a reminder to share the message. The sermon weaves personal anecdotes, scriptural citations (Galatians 5, James 4, Acts 7, etc.), and theological assertions that jealousy is a work of the flesh, a gateway for demonic oppression, and the root of conflict, gossip, and judgment. Woods emphasizes that jealousy arises from unresolved personal or relational issues, comparisonitis, and unfulfilled desires, and that it can be countered by letting Jesus heal the heart, cultivating godly confidence, and maintaining discernment. He provides practical steps: daily fasting, prayer at set times, sharing the teaching, and avoiding environments that foster jealousy. The talk also includes a prophetic prayer rebuking the spirit of jealousy, strife, insecurity, and idleness, and a declaration of divine protection and prosperity. Towards the end, Woods addresses perceived censorship by Facebook, urging the platform to support faith‑based voices, and extends an invitation for viewers to join the fast via the church website. The sermon concludes with a salvation invitation, a call to action for sharing, and a final prayer for the removal of jealousy from the community.

Welcome to day number 3, our 12 noon Bible study of 21 Days of Action, where we are fasting for fire. We're seeking God, we're gonna serve God better, and we're going to share God better. Glory to God! Through the fire that's going to be released, uh, through this fast. So the actions that we're looking to achieve out of this fast is seeking God better, taking action on a daily basis in a better way to seek God. Secondly, to, oh my God, serve God better, to show up in the world as our authentic self and really advance the purpose of God on this planet, carrying out his plans through our life. And then thirdly, we want to, through the fire of God, share God better. So I want to welcome you all that are here live or by replay. Do me a kind favor, guys, uh, if you have not shared this, uh, please go ahead and share this now. Uh, hi, daughter Zion Jasper, good to see you on this afternoon. Uh, much love to you. Uh, good to see you, daughter Kiara, good to see you. Glory to God this afternoon. Pastor Jeffrey, good to see you, sir. Uh, good afternoon, Minister Tanya, good to see you, cousin. Uh, just so grateful, uh, for each of you that are participating in this fast. Number one, I know, um, it just— the shift in the day-to-day can be challenging, but it just says a lot about you and your desire to increase your hunger. I mean, seriously, to increase your hunger for God. Glory to God. Because, you know, really fasting and fire— we, we learned this Sunday— are inseparable. So if you really want the fire of God to show up in your life, uh, we learned, uh, through some very direct detail, glory to God, that you can't separate the two. Some things only happen, some things only move, uh, through fasting and prayer. So we're grateful, uh, for everybody. Ay, Mother Martin, good to see you on this afternoon. Hallelujah! Good afternoon, Minister Alexander. Good to see you, woman of God. Prophetess Shannon, good to see you. Glory to God this afternoon. We are grateful again for everyone that is here. Amen. I am amped. I am super duper excited about how better we're gonna be after this fast. It's gonna be so phenomenal, man. So you ought to be excited too. We're going to pray in a moment. I'm gonna give you a moment though to share this, because at the end of the day, uh, the reality is whether you're coming in live or by replay, it's nice to be nice, right? So you walking in the room, say hello, comment below as all of us have done, and then please do me the favor, guys, and share this. The Bible says we are blessed to be a blessing. The way this word gets out, the way that it penetrates those that need to hear it and they're able to engage it is when we individually share. So I'm sharing it with some people, glory to God, uh, via text right now. Uh, you share it on Facebook and Messenger. Uh, do what you need to do, uh, really quickly, and let's get this word out. I'm trusting God, glory to God, that, uh, part 2 of this message on the spirit of jealousy, which is a part of our series, glory to God, on taking action against strife, uh, we've identified that jealousy is one of the spirits along with greed and a few others. Glory to God, they operate inside of the stronghold or the strongman called strife. So we give God glory, uh, for exposing these things to us so we can deal with them in our life. I don't know about you, I was tremendous blessed, tremendously blessed by yesterday's teaching. Oh my God, I'm telling you, I was, I was Bless Myself, how the Holy Spirit disseminated that. I talked about how we need to learn how to shift cultures and manage our environments better. So I'm grateful. So just a few moments, share it, glory to God, and we're gonna get started. I'm doing the same thing, praise God. Just really quick, I want you to do that. Please oblige me, guys, please oblige me. Uh, it'll be so great, I'll be so grateful if you do that. Glory to God. And I know God will be pleased. Uh, just please oblige me. Glory to God. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Jesus. Oh my God, we give you praise. We give you praise. He's so worthy. He's such a good God. Hallelujah. He's such a kind God, and beside him there is no other. We bless his name. Glory to God. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Wonderful Savior, we give you glory. We give you honor. Oh my God, you're so mighty. You're so mighty. You're so glorious. 5 o'clock prayer was great this morning. Glory to God. Uh, I always enjoy spending time with you guys. Yeah, and you know, today is Thursday, so once I start teaching, I'm really not going to be long. That's my plan, unless the Holy Spirit kicks in and takes over. But we have to be back here again tonight at 8 o'clock Eastern Standard Time. For our Thursday night Global Kingdom Bible Study. So listen, we want to make sure where we're going to continue the teaching, Burning Ones Fast and Fasting Ones Burn. So we're going to, um, again, stay in that series we started Sunday on fasting, and we're going to talk some more about being a burning one through fasting on tonight. So I mean, boy, we're getting a whole lot of word. I mean, I'm telling you, to be saved, you gotta love the word of God. It's your lifeline, it's your source. Amen. And anytime you start doing anything outside of the word and labeling it God, that's called religion. That's called— that's called you trying to make up your own rules when at the end of the day, God has a plan that he's— I'm on God— skillfully outlined for us in the Bible. We just gotta trust it. Glory to God. And we gotta follow after it. I'm talking about we gotta follow hard after it. Glory to God. Hallelujah. So, glory to Jesus. So let's, let's jump, uh, right into this, um, and we're gonna pray. Glory to God. And jump right into this teaching. Glory to God. I'm super excited about sharing again today. Uh, let's pray. Father, in Jesus' name, we thank you for everyone that is here. We thank you, God, for the light, the illumination, and the intelligence of the Holy Spirit. Father, I'm asking you today to do something unusual, something man cannot do. Saturate our mind, saturate our heart. It's in you we live, it's in you we move, Father. It's in you we have our being. You're our help, you're our strength, you're our guide. You, Father, are our everything. So we give you glory, we give you honor, we give you praise. Oh my God, we lift you up, we exalt you, we extol your great name. You're high, you're mighty, and you're wonderful, and we bless you, God. In Jesus' name we pray, amen. And thanks be to God. So yesterday, guys, uh, we talked about— and if you haven't shared, please go ahead and share. Glory to God. Uh, we, we talked about the transference of spirits. Glory to God. And You know, you need to go back and watch that because that, that was a good teaching. Because a lot of times, uh, the spirit of jealousy, greed, and strife— watch this— is introduced in the environments that we keep or the environments that we cultivate. So we got to make sure that we're managing that wisely, uh, we're managing that through the Spirit of God. So please go back watch that teaching so you can get, uh, the ins and outs of what that means. The transference of spirits— your— the company you keep means something. So today we're going to talk about jealousy. Glory to God! And, um, just how powerful this demon is and how to deal with it. First of all, jealousy, guys, and I want you to hear this You know, it's an enemy of the heart. It's an enemy of your walk with God and your heart toward God. And, uh, a lot of times it emerges— it emerges, I'm sorry, from unresolved issues that we have with other humans. And in many cases, some people have issues with God that they need to resolve. And in some cases, there are issues within yourself that you have with you. But these issues cause an open door, a portal for spirits to come in and begin to drive and lead your life. And a lot of times through deception and familiar spirits, you'll think that you're being led of God. Hear me. And, and you'll believe, glory to God, that what you're thinking is God and really is your emotion. I don't know if you guys remember, but the first message I taught at the beginning of the year was a call to action because we're taking action this year in our life. And one of the things that I shared was that we need to take action in the area of making the right sacrifices emotionally, egotistically, and economically. And so I just want to really point my finger at emotionally A lot of times we're tied emotionally to stuff that's hindering our movement, and so it opens doors for us to start moving in strife, moving in greed, moving in jealousy, moving in issues, moving in problems. Glory to God, that literally is not the will of God. All right, so I want to just give you a few things off the top, man. One, and you can write this down, or yeah, type it in the comments, please. Life can be hard on your heart sometimes. You know, you encounter people, you get in situations that you thought were good for you, and you end up heartbroken. You end up rejected. You end up— disappointment, oh my God, shows up, and disappointment starts driving your actions. You start moving in vengeance and retaliation. You start moving in the spirit where you're trying to prove stuff to everybody. Your life sometimes can be hard on the heart, but the remedy for that is number one, really letting Jesus heal the heart. Okay, letting Jesus really heal the heart. Glory to God. Hey, Dr. Tam, welcome. Glory to God. Letting Jesus heal the heart and make you whole, and, and that comes from just opening up to him and understanding again and trusting him that he has full power and authority to make you whole from whatever has affected you in the past. My God, today, you know, the world— see, we're in God, we're in the kingdom, but the world is huge. And listen, the world is filled with a whole bunch of outside influences. I need you to hear this, guys. I need you to hear this, and I need you to hear this good. There's a lot of stuff out there that wants to influence you to not follow God fully or wholly. Hear me, guys, as you should. And the reality is you really got to make up in your mind that with everything in you, you're going to follow after what God says. And these influences outside of us, they can actually disrupt the rhythm of our heart toward God and create these distractions that get us looking to the left and looking to the right. Listen, you gotta allow God to deal with these unresolved issues in you and make up in your mind, I'm not going to let the hard things, the hard times I've been through, or the hard things that show up become a portal for demonic activity. Which brings me to the second point: demons are real. I need to say that before I start teaching this. I probably should have said this in the beginning of this series because exactly what we're teaching about is the function and operation of a demonic force called strife. And this demonic force carries a team of demons with it when you open up to it And we've been discussing this team— conflict, bickering, arguments. Oh my God, jealousy, greed, envy, division. Oh my God, all of these things, all these demons operate. And the assignment of a demon that is sent from hell is to distract you and break your focus from your God-given purpose. Listen, the demon has no power to take you to hell. He can take you through hell if you allow him. You go through hell on this earth, but if you're saved, the demon can't take you to hell. You could go through hell to hell if you trust him and start following him. So you can't allow yourself to be distracted by these real entities. Demons are real. I'm gonna say it again. Demons are real. The devil is real. He's not some entity that's in hell with a red suit, horns, and a pitchfork and flip-flops on. No, that Persian picture of this satanic image that we've gotten, that's not who the devil is. The Bible says the devil comes as a roaring lion. He comes as an angel of light. He is a demon that's able to disguise himself as need be, but to accomplish his purpose. And that's, that's why our eyes have to be open. We have to be on our P's and Q's. Hear me, guys. And we have to have a strong sense of discernment where we understand— glory to the name of God— uh, Pastor Jeffrey posted something today. You ought to go on his page and like that post and share it because it lines up totally with what I've been teaching. He said something to this effect: the courts of chaos, the royal court of chaos and conflict, are looking for actors and participants, clowns, who will accept— hear me, he didn't say it like that, I'm saying it like that— that will become jesters in his court. That's the word Pastor Jasper used. I'm using the word clown because we got a whole bunch of clowns out here that all they do is stir up trouble, stir up strife, And most of the time— and, and we're about to jump into this— is rooted, oh my God, in the spirit of jealousy. Glory to God. It's rooted in unresolved issues that we open up our heart to. Glory to God. And allow them to have control in our life, man. Oh my God. I'm gonna get through this, guys. I promise you today I'm gonna get through it, and I'm not gonna be long because again, I gotta come back tonight. So let's go to Galatians. Let's start here. Galatians 5. Galatians 5. Glory to God, we love Jesus, man. I pray y'all in love with him like I am. Glory to God. Galatians 5. Hallelujah. Thank you, Jesus. Oh, Galatians 5. Hallelujah. Thank you, Lord. We gonna, we gonna jack the devil up today and we're gonna make him clear he has no place in our life. As a matter of fact, right now I decree and declare in the mighty name of Jesus that the devil and none of his cohorts have place in our life. For God, you said in your word that we should not give place to the devil. So we make it known to hell, that it has no place in our life, in our purpose, in our destiny. And we serve notice on you now. We say get out in the name of Jesus. And we rebuke every place of idleness, for the idle mind Oh my God, is the devil's workshop. And so we decree and declare that no idleness can live in us, but we are focused. We're, we're locked in like a flint on the will of God in God's kingdom plan for our life, in Jesus' name. Galatians 5:19, I'm gonna read two verses, 19 and 20. Glory to God. Galatians 5:19, glory to God. I'm gonna read 19 and 20. Praise the name of God. The Bible says, glory to God, now the works of the flesh are manifest. Listen to this, which are these. Thank you, Lord. Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath. Are you ready? Strife. Oh my God. Seditions, heresies. And I'll read the first word in verse 21: envying. So wait a minute, what are you saying, Apostle? One, it's clear that jealousy is a work of the flesh and a manifestation of carnality. So the moment I start moving in carnality and reacting in my flesh— oh my God— I open the door for jealousy and all of his friends: envy and strife, immolation, variance, hatred, wrath, seditions. All of this stuff is connected to the spirit. So we, we're clear too from this that jealousy is not a fruit of the spirit. So if you're Holy Spirit filled, then jealousy is something you should not be operating in. Oh my God, oh my God, oh my God. As my grandbaby would say, OMG. The reality is, if you say that you are baptized in Holy Ghost and Fire You should not be walking around in jealousy toward anybody or anything. That is a work of the flesh. Oh boy, somebody said, well, Apostle, I got that covered. I'm not jealous of nobody. Well, let's keep teaching. Let's, let's make sure. Glory to God. Let's make sure, because again, the chief stronghold here, the strongman, is strife. And we see again that strife bursts out this jealousy. Glory to God. Let's go to James 4:2. Watch this. Let's go to James. We could— right there. Let's go to James 4:2. I told you I'm not going to be long. I'm not going to tear it long today. Glory to God. James 4:2. Glory to God. Hallelujah. Well, let's read verse 1 and 2. We've read this several times in this teaching. But we need to read it again right here, all right, just in case you're questioning whether you're battling with this, all right. He said, from whence come wars and fightings among you? Come they hence even of your lusts, that your war is in your members? Verse 2, ye have lusts and have not, you kill and desire to have and cannot obtain, ye fight and war Yet ye have not, because you ask not. So he's saying a few things here. First of all, in the text, he's saying that jealousy happens through a process, all right? You're looking at somebody else or someone else doing their thing, you want what they got, and it starts processing from the spirit of strife. You get striked out about it. And that strife pressures you into comparisonitis, which you start comparing yourself to them. Well, God never told you to do that. That's sin, okay? Comparisonitis is sin because you should be operating in a place of authentication and vintage, uh, ideals and dreams. You, you should be operating in your very unique person. That God made you to be. And you, you never should compare yourself to another person, because when you do that, you open the door for jealousy. Glory to God. You open the door to have strife with somebody you don't even know. Sometimes you, you can have strife with somebody that you barely know because they have something you want. And the devil is a liar. I said this last week, I'll say it again, I'll say it again right here. When people are hating on you, or you're hating on somebody else, it's not necessarily that you hate them. You are hating because they have something you want. Oh my God, you're hating because you can't do what they're doing, when really you're not supposed to do what they're doing. You're supposed to be doing what you're supposed to be doing. But the problem is we're so connected to everybody else's life through social media. You know, I'm, I'm so over a lot of this stuff, man. Uh, I think I said something in one of my lives, and where Facebook decided they was going to remove the audio in one of the teachings, I had to, uh, review it and refute that with them. Because at the end of the day, this is freedom of religion, this is freedom of speech in America. So if you got people on here saying all kind of other crazy stuff, why I can't talk about Jesus? Why I cannot say what the Bible says? And they were trying to say that, you know, some of my things I was saying was offensive to certain groups. Well, those groups, if they're offended by what I say, they don't need to follow me. They got the right to unfollow me. And not watch my videos. Oh, here's what I'm saying. We're so connected and we get caught up in what everybody else is doing that it causes strife to enter our life because we want, we want the life we see. And then we start building erroneous versions. Oh my God, erroneous versions, error-filled versions of ourselves. What makes it an error? It's not who God says you are. You're in error if you're not walking out the uniqueness. Well, oh, Apostle, I'm in the permissive will of God. No, listen, that ain't in the Bible, okay? That's something somebody made up for not wanting— either you're in obedience or disobedience. Delayed obedience is disobedience. And watch this, partial obedience is disobedience. So either you're obedient or you're disobedient. Either you're in the will or you're out. I'm in the permissive. You find it in the Bible, show me, I stand corrected. It's not there. Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy, oh boy, oh boy, oh boy. Oh, listen guys. You gotta understand, you are who God says you are, so you can't open those doors. That's all I'm trying to say. We become jealous. It's a process. We become jealous. It doesn't just happen. It happens over time, over feeding your spirit with comparisonitis and plugged into things— glory to God— that, oh my God, that you long for and lust for. That are not for you. Glory to God, glory to God. That's right, Pastor Jasper, it's called version control, because if you're not controlling the version, you're operating in perversion. See, perversion— okay, Facebook might block this again, but I'm gonna say it— perversion is not just woman on woman, man on man, or man on bees, or a man with multiple women, or women with multiple men. That's not just perversion. Perversion means to deviate from the authentic version, which means you have not controlled the version properly. Oh my God. And if you're not controlling the version of you properly, you're in disobedience. I'm sorry. Okay, we're gonna be better. We're gonna be better after this fast, right? We're not gonna be faking. We're not gonna fake the funk anymore. No more faking it until we make it. No more lying on God, talking about we're in a permissive will. Oh my God, we are going to— glory to God— make sure that we are on point. You know why we can be on point? Because God has laid everything out to us and made himself available to share with us whatever we need to keep us in line. Watch it. Dr. Tam is on this live, my daughter. I love her so much. She's so precious. She, she's a teacher, she's a, she's an inspiration, she's an influence, and she's going to be a medical doctor. Guess what? All of that is part of her purpose. She is moving in obedience. She's in school, glory to the name of God, in obedience. So God, what God does, he puts prophets in your life. He puts his voice in your life to get you on to move you into his will, not for you floating around in this— oh, I'm in the permissive will. No, no, I need you to find the will of God. Glory. And guess what? His will is his word. It starts right there. And then there's an innate plan you came to this planet with. My God, today. My God, today. Oh my God. By God today. So he says again in James 4:1, he's letting us know we become jealous. And he also is saying to us in these verses that strife comes from unfulfilled desires that we have. So he said, look at yourself, desires that you have, and they're unfulfilled, it causes strife, which ultimately leads to jealousy. Listen again. We see people with things we want and we become jealous of them. Glory to God. Listen, no, just understand that whatever God has for you is for you. You don't have to be jealous of somebody else's marriage, somebody else's house, somebody else's car. Whatever is yours is yours. Somebody else's prosperity— guess what? God promised prosperity for all of us. He is no respecter of person. But you know how Jesus said, the poor you have with you always? Not because there's just going to be some people that's going to be poor because that's just, you know, the will of the God— will of God. No, he said that because he knew there were some people that were not going to accept that as reality, that you can prosper, that you can win, that you can have riches in your life. So you don't need you coveting, being lustful, being jealous of some other businessman, businesswoman who's rich, who's wealthy, who's doing well because they're doing what they got to do. Following their dream, following their purpose. Come on, man, there's no need to be jealous of Dr. Tam because she becomes a doctor because that's her purpose. Find your lane, flow in it. Are y'all hearing this? Oh my God. Yeah, yeah. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord. I, I, I dare you just type in the comments right here. I'm gonna pull up real close because I want to say that I hear that, Father. Liski komansa. Type this in the comments. Say, what God has planned— watch this— is planned. So that means it's already yours. It's planned. It's there. It's yours. What God has planned is planned, and it belongs to you, which means it's really a plan. He's planned for you to prosper. Oh my God. He's planned for you to win. He's planned for you to have good health. Good God Almighty. He's planned— glory to God. For you to soar, for you to live debt-free, for you to prosper in your business, for you to prosper in your dream. It's planned already. Now my question is, what you gonna do about it? Are you gonna sit around and just be jealous of other people and keep watching everybody else's life, wishing you had their life? Or are you gonna line up with what God has planned for you He ain't changed his mind. My question to you: have you changed yours? Ah, have you changed your mind? At one point you were really clear about what God was saying to you. I'm talking to somebody. At one point you felt really good about the promise of God on your life, and you knew it was him. And then here comes— oh my God— your old friend again. Oh my God, oh my God, oh my God, oh my God. Trying to remind you, well, you know, you fail at everything. You know, you don't have no money, you don't have the education, you don't know nobody. Your old friend is just preaching in your ear, and then you start digressing and devaluing, which ultimately leads to destruction of the plan that's already planned. Don't destroy the plan with doubt. Don't destroy the plan, oh my God, because you yielded to an illegal voice, a counterfeit demonic voice that was designed to pull you away from God's plan for your life. Oh my God. Oh my God, today. Oh my God. Oh, I hope y'all catching this. Oh, I hope you're catching. I'm almost done. I said I wasn't gonna be long. So pride says I should have what you have, and what that pride does, it causes you to be jealous. Let me give you a very transparent moment, right? Very transparent moment, and I'm gonna say this in a very, um, tactful way, all right, to protect the name of the person that I'm speaking of. But transparent moment about me, all right. Just want to show you how I was operating in this and didn't know it. I thought I was entitled. I thought I should have what this person had. Um, about 5 years ago, maybe 6, there was a particular preacher that he was boasting over 35,000, 40,000 members in his church. And I will sit and listen to him preach. I will watch his ministry, and a lot of the things I will see, I'd be like, man, all of that is fabricated. He's not really tapping in, you know. All of this is rehearsed. All of this is learned behavior. He really doesn't have a prayer life. God himself, he's not touching you— watch this— like I do. He doesn't spend the time with you that I do. I'm sitting here watching this man, and then I said, even his conduct is terrible. It is rumored that he sleeps with men. But God, he has 35,000 people and I have what I have here. What's— what am I doing wrong? The Spirit of the Lord said to me, the Spirit of Grace said, son, first of all, what you're doing wrong is you're moving in judgment. Because while you are right on a lot of things you see I'm the one that makes the decision to rain on the just as well as the unjust. I felt this big when the Spirit said that to me. And then secondly, he said, you're operating in jealousy. So you're operating in judgment, now you're operating in jealousy. You want what he has, you feel entitled, when the way I'm gonna bless you is not the way I'm gonna bless him. And you don't know what I'm doing with him and how I'm breaking him in his conviction. You don't know where I'm leading him, but you want what he want, and you feel like I'm doing less for you than I'm doing for him because you're trying to operate in comparisonitis. That's where that came from. That's why I, I said it to you earlier. God said it to me first. I had never heard that word before in my life. God said to me, you're operating in comparisonitis. Comparisonitis. Okay, but at the end of the day, which was a sickness, is a disease. You feel like because you're, you're more anointed— yes, son, I'm gonna tell you, you are more anointed. You do have a more consecrated life, but that's not how I'm doing it for you. You are an apostle, so there are other things you have to endure. There are other things you have to learn. He's a pastor. Oh boy, I mean, I cried, I wept. But God says you're moving in jealousy and you need deliverance. Oh my God, oh my God. Oh, and guess what God did? He set me free, and I never did that again. I became pleased with my process. I became pleased. My God, God bless you, Apostle Ball. Good to see you, man of God. Love you, my brother. Good to see you. Glory to God. Glory to God. Listen, I need you to understand, it's not by works, because that's the last thing the Holy Spirit said to me. He said, son, it ain't about what you doing, it's by faith. And he said, quite honestly, with everything you named about him I'm responding to his faith. I couldn't say nothing because it's scripture. It was God talking to me. I had to humble myself down, glory to God, and receive what the Lord said. And I'm saying to you today, stop the comparisonitis in the name of Jesus. Oh God, stop comparing your ministry to other ministries, your, your dreams to other people's dreams, your business, your marriage. Oh my God, and do what you got to do to extrapolate out of your life. Oh my God, Jesus. Oh my God, my God, I thank you. Oh my God, what God has ordained for you. Listen, let me keep moving, let me keep moving. I said I wasn't gonna be long. I said, don't go to Acts 13. No, go to Acts 7 and 9. Let's go there first. Acts 7:9. Oh boy, look, don't, don't, don't leave me because I was transparent. Preachers ought to be more honest. Glory to God. Hallelujah. Glory to God. So that's my life, that's my ministry. That's why the enemy could never use anything I've done against me, because I tell on myself. I am totally transparent about my life. Listen, if somebody tell it, 9 times out of 10 I done already told it. And if they said it and I ain't said it, it's about a lie, okay? Because at the end of the day, I'm gonna expose myself because I want you to overcome not only by the blood of the Lamb but and by the word of my testimony. And that's how you should live. Glory to God. Oh my God, I give you the glory, God. I give you the— Acts 7:9. Acts 7:9. I said, ah God, I'm trying to hold my peace, y'all. I'm telling you, but this fast, man, glory to God, this revelation just be flowing through me like crazy and I want to release it, but I'm trying to be considerate of time. But since y'all ain't eating, you might as well eat the word. Glory to God. Glory to God. You might as well get a hunger, you know. That's really what this is about anyway, that you get an appetite. Glory to God. Hallelujah. Wonderful Savior. Glory to Jesus for the word above everything else. Glory to God. We give you praise. We give you glory, God. We give you honor. Yeah, Apostle, you know about that, sir. Any apostle that's worth his salt understands that examining ourselves is the first order of business at all times. So I know you understand that, man of God. Glory to God. Lebe Satana Baba Ki Ando. We give you glory. Hallelujah. Acts 7:9, the Bible said the patriarchs, which are the fathers— listen to this, watch this— they move with envy, sold Joseph into Egypt. My God, today But God was with him. So Joseph's brothers, his— these patriarchs, all right, they were envious of him according to this text. They hated him so much that they became slave traders to try to bring him down. This is what the spirit would do. In a hat— oh man, that's right, Minister Alexander. Jealousy is sitting there wanting what somebody else got, and you don't know know the process they went through to get what they have. Good stuff, good stuff. Oh, my dear, yes, God, we give you the glory, we give you the glory. Listen, these brothers of Joseph were so jealous they became slave traders. And that's what people will do. They'll be so jealous of you, they'll try to put you in bondage to their jealousy and start— watch this— spreading whispering and spreading rumors about you, doing things, glory to the name of God, to undermine you, set you up to destroy you. That's why not only do you not need not be jealous, but you— that's why we was talking about this yesterday, transference of spirits. You need to make sure, hear me, that there are no jealous people around you. Oh my God, that, that are faking the funk, acting like they want to be a part, but they really want what you got and will try to destroy you to get it. Oh my God. Oh, Tabah. Oh, Daughter Zion. Yes, that's what it is. It's snake talk. They're like snakes behind your back. Glory to God. You, you need to understand, guys, that this is a powerful demon. Listen, Jesus said it even in several places, guys. That it was because of envy— hear this— that the religious leaders crucified him. So this spirit will cause people to kill you. Be careful. That's why you can't let everybody in your culture, in your inner circle. Hallelujah. Glory to God. Go to Acts 13. I'm almost done, I'm almost done, I'm almost done. Glory to God. Let's look at verse number 44. 44. 44. My God, did they— we're gonna see something here very powerful. Glory to God. About this spirit. And the next Sabbath day came almost the whole city together to hear the word of God. I love this. That's this— this is powerful. I'm longing for this kind of revival. Glory to God. Hey, my God, my God, oh my God. Listen, I'm even believing God for this. Matter of fact, I'm gonna pray it right now because I'm believing God that when I go to Cairo, Georgia, uh, February 25th, 26th, and 27th— that's a Sunday through a Tuesday— for revival, we're calling this revival Fresh Wind and Fire. And I'm looking for God not only to blow fresh wind and release fire. But I'm looking for the entire city of Cairo. I'm believing God that Apostle Brinson's church will be overwhelmed and people will be trying to get in from outside because people are going to want to hear a true word. My God, from God. Listen, this kind of revival is what we need, not just 40,000 gathering in one building. We need a revival where there's a hunger For a real word and people, oh my God, they gather together. Watch this though, watch verse 45. But when the Jews, here it is, saw the multitudes, hmm, they were filled with envy and spake against those things which were spoken by Paul, contradicting contradicting and blaspheming. You know, when there's real revival, there's going to always be opposition and someone to contradict and blaspheme against what you're saying because they're jealous that their powerless— oh my God— religious acts are not working. But I'm believing God that even here in Atlanta, that the glory will begin to visit our meetings at Rhoda Church in the DMV. I'm believing God in Jackson that people will flood our houses to hear the word, not to see a man. See, church has become so iconolistic that people show up to see a human, a man. No, we don't want that. If the glory is dependent upon my presence, we got a problem. Glory to God, because sometimes I'm not going to be there. Oh glory, listen, so at the end of the day, we need to make sure that we learn the combination and we are always synchronized with God's plan to overwhelm us in our services. So wind and fire is constantly burning and blowing in every service we have, and that people will begin to hear of it. Glory to God. I remember one time Prophetess Shannon prophesied that even in our church in Atlanta, that people will begin to become curious about what God is doing in our house, because they will hear of the glory, they will hear of the power, they will hear of the anointing that flows out of that house. Listen, I believe it because I've seen it myself, but we got to be ready. God bless you, Apostle. That's why I was trying to call you. We got to connect, man. I want to come to your region, and I want us to connect and do something together in that region. Glory to God. Because the last time, the assignment is what it was, but there is something greater than that that we have to do together, and I want us connect to make sure we get it done this year. Listen guys, I'm telling you, God wants to overwhelm us with his authority, his presence, his glory. Listen, they slandered Paul because he was— that's why I've heard the, the chatter where people, glory to God, have, have called us a cult. Glory to God. Ah, because we move in power, we move in authority, we move in gifts. Oh, it's just a cult, don't go over there, it's just a cult. The devil is a liar. I've heard ignorant people say that people who attend our ministries are brainwashed. Hallelujah! The devil is a dumb devil and his grandmother. Glory to the name of God. We ain't crazy, we ain't ignorant, we just full of fire, we just full of the power, we're just full of the anointing, and we will not settle. Glory to God, my God for anything less. Whoa! Shabaya! God, I give you the glory, I give you the honor. I give you praise. Hallelujah! I thank you, Lord. I thank you, Lord. Listen, listen. When we see this same pattern— I gotta move— that we're reading about in these texts, that pattern of you have something I want, so I— if I can't have it, I'm gonna be envious and I'm gonna have a bad attitude towards you. When you see that pattern, rebuke it and walk away. Mark that person as someone that needs freedom and deliverance from jealousy, and you are not obligated to be in their presence. Watch this. Family, friend, or foe. I'm gonna say that again. Family, friend, or foe, if they are moving in jealousy toward you, you are not obligated to entertain their presence. Your only responsibility is to pray for their deliverance, because that spirit is contagious and that spirit is dangerous. They will put you on the slave block. Guess what? I, I said this other day, I'll say it again. There are people that have perceptions of you that are not real, and they, they feed that perception consistently because of their jealousy. They want that perception, that persona they have of you, to be real. So they keep feeding that you're the person from the past, or you're what I first thought you were, so they can stroke their own personal insecurities about you. Listen, you don't have to wait around and wait for people to like you. Glory to the name of God. You shake the dust from your feet and do what God has called you to do. Oh my God, did they rebasa? Oh my God, oh my God, oh my God, oh my God. You got to deal with that jealous spirit, that jealous attitude. Glory to God. Oh, that— I like to say, family, friend, or foe. Family, friend, or foe. You got— whether you really admit it or not, there are family members, they want to be saved, they looking at you, but they ain't getting saved. So they moving in jealousy. They watching God bless you, they watching God change your life, they're jealous. So they got an attitude. Oh my God, sometimes people have an attitude because you found something that they wanted before they did. It. And so they start trying to pull you away from it because they didn't find it first. I'm talking to somebody. It's okay, it's okay, it's okay. You don't have to deal with it, you just need to rebuke it. Glory to God! I love Jesus, I love Jesus. So what we've learned so far, and I'm almost done, is that jealousy and envy are the root causes of strife, slander, and gossip. I said that 100 different ways, but that's all I said. Jealousy is the root cause of judgment, strife, slander, and gossip. The spirit becomes a driving force behind these entities. It becomes the ringleader. While the spirit of conflict and strife is the organizer, jealousy is the leader that creates the manifestation of gossip, of conflict, of strife. Oh my God, of judgment. I gotta go, y'all. I gotta go. I got, I gotta, I gotta teach y'all again tonight. I'm getting ready to close. Write this down, write this down. Insecure people, watch this, they get competitive when they see people with things they don't have. So watch this. You ever seen somebody that you're talking about, you're honestly just trying to testify to them about the blessing that God has given you, and then instead of them celebrating with you Immediately they want to start talking about, well, let me tell you what, what I got, and let me tell you what God did for me, or let me tell you how this worked for me. Yeah, that kind of stuff right there gets on my last nerve. You'll be talking about a success you're having and they want to one-up you with a success there they've had. And it's okay to have conversations about the blessing of the Lord, but I'm talking about when it comes out of this spirit of competition. You know the person I'm talking about, always talking about what they've done. Dangerous, dangerous, dangerous. You trying to talk about how God is opening doors for you, giving you opportunity, and they want to top you with what they say God is doing with them because they're trying to maintain their perception of who they think you are. They're dangerous, man. I hope y'all learning something. Number 2, write this down. I'm closing with these points. Number 2, confidence— hear this— does not compare. Confident people don't compare themselves to others. You know, I sit down, I sit down and look at— listen at people sometimes talk about what they've done and what they're doing, and I just be totally quiet. I mean, I, I rejoice with them. And you know, I don't need to say what God is doing for me to compare to you, to make you— to minimize what God has done for you. Great! I'm super happy that that's happening for you. Praise the Lord should be our action. Let's rejoice! Glory to God! We don't drink, but, but, but let's celebrate! Glory to God! Let's, let's have a meal about that. Let's find something to, to just show, hey, I'm appreciative for what God is doing for you. But if you got to just always compare yourself to what somebody else has received, oh my God. Or, or you, I mean, or you get married and say, and you, and you, you're talking about your husband and, and you're grateful for how your husband treats you, and then they say, well Oh well, my husband do XYZ, and you know for a fact their husband ain't doing that. Glory to God. But they say it to compare. But confident people don't compare. Finally, watch this. No one will ever judge you for something you have if they have something equally or better than yours. Yeah, they won't do it. The only people that judge— okay, for example, nobody's ever judged me for having a nice car if they had a really nice car. Only people that judge you for having nice things are people that don't have nice things. Not all of them, but the people that are jealous and don't have nice things and want what you got, they're going to judge you. So I want you to understand something today, and I'm done. Take the position of humility and don't settle for being jealous, and don't allow jealousy to enter your world. That's what I want to pray for today. I want to pray that we will be very deliberate— glory to God— in ensuring that jealousy doesn't enter our world. Are y'all with me on that? Are you with me to, to make sure that jealousy stays out of our world? Glory to God. I mean, do you really want to see the peace of God moving away? Thank you, Jesus. Oh, I love him. Do you want to see God totally arrest your enemies for you and you don't have to worry about it? But you got to step away, you got to step off. That's what we want to pray for. And you got to let God be God. You got to let him have full control. Father, I love you. Let's pray, guys. Let's pray. Let's pray. Lebaso turamaye, ketansu tabaki, kurabasatabaya. The moment you see a confident person comparing themselves to you, kurabasatabaya, it lets you know there's some jealousy. Listen, a person that's comparing themselves to you, let you know they're not confident, and that lets you know that jealousy is working. Watch it. Be— and that's what I'm gonna pray for, that your eyes will be open. That these jealous demons won't bring destruction on your life. Let's pray. Father, in Jesus' name, I thank you for your goodness. I thank you for your mercy. I thank you for your kindness. I thank you for this word. And I pray, God, that this word would superimpose itself upon the hearer. And first of all, God, I pray in the name of Jesus that no jealousy will be harbored in our heart. We rebuke the spirit of strife, rebuke the spirit of jealousy, and we decree and declare, God, that we will be pleased with who you made us. We'll be pleased with what you've given us and where you're taking us, and we will not desire anybody else's stuff. And at that end, God, we decree and declare, yes, God, I thank you. I thank you, God. I thank you, God, that we will not be insecure. We rebuke the spirit of insecurity because it's only the insecure people that get competitive, hallelujah, with people that have things they don't have. And we realize, God, that this kind of activity, this kind of behavior is always from below us. So Father, we raise our confidence level in you and we trust who you made us. We thank you for godly confidence, not arrogance, godly confidence that is born out of a clarity, God, of the assignment, a clarity of our purpose, a clarity of the future and the destiny that you have prepared for us. Thank you, God. Yes, God, I give you praise. I give you glory. And I thank you, Father, that we'll have peace with what you do and what you say to us, and we will be obedient. Thank you for the spirit of obedience now in the name of Jesus. I rebuke every work of the flesh, and we mortify the members of our flesh, and we declare that the fruit of the spirit it would emerge. And finally today, God, I pray for strong discernment, strong discernment among your people, that we can sense jealousy like a houndstooth dog, and we know when it shows up, and we know how to act accordingly. Give us the boldness to rebuke it. Give us the boldness to extrapolate ourselves from the jealous environment and to move into things that pertain to you. And we give you praise for that now, in Jesus' name. Amen. And thanks be to God. Glory to God. Elibasaya. We give you glory. We give you glory. Thank you, Jesus. We love you and we praise you. God, you're good. I pray you were blessed today by today's word. Listen, join us tonight. Tonight, listen, tell a friend, send out texts now, get everybody you can on tonight's teaching. We're talking about burning ones fast and fasting ones burn. Part 2. Listen, make sure you are on the stream tonight. It's going to be a blessing. So just jump on, join us, and be with us. Perhaps, guys— hallelujah! Thank God for you too, Pastor Jasper, and all of you. I love you guys. Thank you, Prophetess Shannon. We give you all your honor. We're on day 3, and you still can join us. We're on a 21-day fast. We're calling it 21 Days of Action. Amen. And we're fasting for fire so we could seek God better, serve God better, and share God better. Glory to God. We just want to be better, man, and we know fire makes us better. Glory to God. So if somebody comes replay or whatever, they can grab it. Listen, if you're here perhaps and you're not born again, you don't know Jesus in the free pardon of your sin, maybe you're dealing with people who are jealous toward you, and maybe you have fought with the spirit of jealousy, or maybe you have some other things in your life that you can't seem to shake. Well, I want you to understand something: you'll never be able to shake them alone. But with God, with, with Jesus, you can shake them. Glory to God. With Jesus. Glory to God. Facebook is a demon. Glory to God. The Bible— oh my God, we just read that how we'll become against for doing the right things, and Pastor Jeffrey said Facebook blocked him. I don't know what they're doing. Glory to God. But I speak to this demonic infrastructure of this company that so many of us that share the gospel use to leverage. And I decree and declare that this company will find favor with God because it gives favor to those of us who are in faith and who trust and live out the things of the Spirit. We rebuke the evil executives who operate in high places at the top of company. I pray y'all listening to this video, glory to the name of God. And we decree and declare that if you do not turn your hearts toward favoring God's people and allowing us to speak our freedom truly, we decree and declare that your company will fall. Your company will go bankrupt. Your— matter of fact, you're already experiencing it because of how You've had to treat the church, and you've treated the church— you've had to lay off 28,000 people here recently. Listen, that's just the beginning, Facebook, if you don't start treating us better, the people of the living God. We're not trying to offend anyone, we're telling our truth. Instead of blocking us, if you want to block something, block them from seeing our page. If you just got to do something. But the truth we preach needs to be preached. You let, uh, pride— you have pride days on this platform. Oh God, oh my God, I'm over it. I'm telling, I'm over it. And I declare you will go bankrupt, you will lay off other people if you do not turn your heart toward people of faith. In the name of Jesus, because guess what? My God is God, and I don't need you that bad. Glory to God, glory to Jesus, that I can't tell you the truth. Mark Zuckerberg and your entire team, you need to turn your heart toward people of faith. In Jesus' name, glory to God. Shannon is saying Facebook blocked them. This is, this is ridiculous. This is ridiculous because we're trying to get people to fast. Wow. When you got hoes on here selling their body. Yeah, I said it. You got hoes selling coochie on Facebook, but you blocking the truth. Yeah, I'm, I'm really over it. Glory to God. I love you guys. Y'all be blessed. I was about to have an altar call. Glory to God. They don't even want sinners to see what we're saying. But perhaps if you're here and you're not born again, I want to pray that you can come to Jesus I want to pray that you could give your life to the Lord. The Bible says simple, it's real simple. Repent of your sins, confess with your mouth, believe in your heart that Jesus died and he rose again from the grave. The Bible says you shall be saved. Would you pray this with me? If you're not born again, you know your business is not straight, you know if you die right now you go to hell, come on, pray this with me. Say, Father, in the name of Jesus, I repent of my sins, and I decree and declare that my sins are forgiven. So I open my heart and I invite you in. Come in, Jesus, and live in me. Say, I believe that you died and you rose again on the third day. And because of this, in this moment, right now, I am saved. In Jesus' name, amen. And thanks be to God. Hallelujah. Glory to God. Listen, I love you guys. If you repented and gave your life to the Lord today, sent radachurch.com/contact— apparently no one can type the website on in the comments. So if you heard me, ronachurch.com— wait a minute, I got another way, I got another way. Bet you can't block this. Glory to God. Rabba satavai, rekede monsuta. We give you glory, God. Just go there and send me an email. Go to the— click on the menu, go down to contact. And send me an email and say, hey Apostle Woods, either A, I want to join the fast, we'll send you the link, glory to the name of God, to join the fast. Or secondly, if you got saved today, please send me a message and say, I pray with you Apostle, I'm a newborn again believer, please send me the information I need to continue my walk in God. And I'm going to make sure you have that. Glory to God. I love you guys. Be blessed today. I'll see you guys tonight, um, whether you watch on YouTube or Facebook. Glory to God. Hallelujah. Well, they let him put up roddochurch.com/contact, but it won't let him put up Fast 24. That's crazy. They don't want the people to fast. Glory to God. But God is good. He's worthy. And listen, I have said my peace. I spoke what the Lord said to say to them, and I'm praying that they see it since they want to monitor everything we do. I pray they hear. I pray somebody that's sitting in that big old office with Facebook hears what I just said. Turn your heart to the people of faith, lest your company fold. And that's the word of the Lord. Y'all be blessed. Heaven smile upon you is my prayer. Peace.
