The Spirit of Offense, Part 8: Are You Offending YOURSELF? | Dr. Mike Woods, Sr. | 1.March.2021

In this live sermon, Dr. Mike Woods Sr. continues his "Spirit of Offense" series by focusing on the most dangerous form of offense: offending oneself. He defines offense (Greek skandalon) as a trap that lures the soul into bitterness, resentment, and sin, and explains how self‑offense manifests through a guilty conscience, self‑deception, and repeated cycles of failure in finances, relationships, and spiritual growth. Using numerous biblical passages (e.g., Matthew 5:29‑30, 1 John 3:21, Romans 9, 1 Peter 4, Hebrews 12, Jeremiah 17:9, James 1:22, Daniel 1:8, Titus 2), he shows that a conscience that condemns blocks boldness, fuels fear, and prevents true freedom. He urges listeners to acknowledge sin, repent, and replace self‑offending habits with faith‑driven integrity, prayer, and honest confession. The sermon also includes a prophetic promise that the next ten days will bring supernatural clarity and supply to those who tap in, followed by a call to give seed offerings to activate that promise. Throughout, Dr. Woods uses an urgent, exhortational tone, blending personal testimony, scriptural exposition, and practical challenges to inspire immediate spiritual and practical action.

He said tonight— thank you, Lord— he said, tell my little ones, tell my children. Hallelujah. He said, tell them that I have come tonight, one, to visit them, and two, let them know that during my visit, I'm going to fill their life with clarity. Obasanjo de de be kosia. Yeah, I heard him say— yeah, right here in this ear, I hear him talking to He said, Michael, tell my little ones that I'm going to fill their eyes with clarity concerning the future. I'm going to begin to open their eyes up concerning tomorrow. Their eyes will open up concerning their next move, for I will make them clear, oh, about their next step. Oh, and he said every person, number 2, that taps in God said he's going to open the door for supernatural supply. Oh yeah, God, I heard that. He said the next 10 days will be filled with supernatural supply. It won't be anything you will do, but God said to tell you, I'm gonna rip open the heavens and the next— am I Uske daba hosian de la baki. 10 days, said God. Yeah, we'll be filled with supernatural supply. Oh, thank you, Jesus. Oh, thank you, Jesus. Somebody needs to worship him right now. Clarity and supply. He said for every person that taps into this live tonight and flows in this anointing, he said he's opening you up to supernatural supply. I dare you, take up a worship right where you are. Take up a worship right where you are. Come on, take up a worship right where you are. Come on, just worship him in advance for perfect clarity, supernatural clarity. Glory to God, that comes out of the heaven. Supernatural. Oh God, I thank you for clarity. Oh God, the steps of a good man, a good woman— yeah God, I hear— they are ordered by God. Why don't you let God order your steps? Oh, tonight, come on, the worshipers are worshiping. The worshipers are worshiping. Hande bah! You're worshiping him for clarity. You're worshiping him now for supernatural supply. Come on, I dare you, give him the sacrifice of worship. Some of you watching me, but I dare you, right where you are, begin to lift up those hands and give God glory. I'm telling you, the word of the Lord has come forth. For every person that taps into this live, by replay or live tonight. God said, whoo, the next 10 days will be filled with clarity and filled with supernatural supply. Father, we thank you tonight. We worship and adore you tonight, God, for supernatural supply. Oh, in the name of Jesus, we thank you, God, and we give you the glory. Odaye sumahi kuska. Hambre kareman siyalo bosia. Yeah. Hooray! Oh, hallelujah! Thank you, Jesus. Well, Father, we thank you tonight for the opportunity to teach your word, God. And we pray, Father, in the name of Jesus, that you would move by your power and that your anointing, God, would superimpose itself upon us. And God, even as we teach this word, yeah, we thank you that angels, according to scripture, hearken to the voice of thy word. So Father, tonight as we give your word voice, we thank you that angels— yeah, God— are getting behind the word and bringing it to pass in our lives. Even the prophetic utterance that the Holy Spirit just uttered to us, we thank you that the angels are going forth now and placing clarity under arrest and supernatural supply under arrest and bringing it into our lives in the next 10 days. We thank you for abundance, whoo, that comes from heaven according to your riches, according to your riches in glory. And we thank you for it now. God, tonight let us experience the light the illumination and the intelligence of the Holy Spirit. Father, do something unusual, something man cannot do, and we'll give you praise, and all the glory and honor shall be thine. In Jesus' name, amen. And thanks be to God. Oh boy, I feel the anointing here tonight. I feel the anointing of Jesus. Glory to God. I feel the anointing of Jesus. Come on, just lift your hands and receive what God has for you. Some of you, hallelujah, been walking without real supernatural clarity for some time now. You've been going through the motions and you just still have not been clear. But the Lord said it tonight, in the next 10 days clarity is going to hit you like a ton of bricks and pan seboho, and your eyes will come open and you will see things clearly. And God's going to show you what's to come. And I'm telling you right now, there are great things in your future that you have not seen yet, but God's going to make you clear. Glory to God! And these 10 days are going to be filled— yeah, I heard it in my left ear, man— are going to be filled with supernatural supply. I need some of y'all tonight— listen, I need some of y'all tonight to share this, right? Glory to God! I need you to get in here and I need you to share this. Glory to God. Hallelujah. Thank you, Jesus. I need you to share it. There's breakthrough here tonight. Hallelujah. And whether you're watching us on YouTube, on Facebook, on my personal page here, or whether you're watching— glory be to God, thank you, Jesus— on one of our public pages like Rhoda Church or my— oh my God, my public Dr. Mike Woods page. Wherever you're watching, glory to God, we certainly need you to share this. This word is going to be, uh, absolutely life-changing, uh, and I want everybody that can hear it to hear it. The scripture declares we are blessed to be a blessing. So thank you guys that have shared. Please share, please share. Uh, the blessing of the Lord that makes rich and add no sorrow is going to rest with us here on tonight. Glory to God, we give him praise. So I done shared it with everybody I'm gonna share it with. We're gonna jump right into this and we're gonna teach the word tonight. I want you to go along with me in the Bible, and as you're watching, glory to God, I need you guys to be a scribe. Engage this broadcast, type and comment below. Uh, if we give you a scripture, write that scripture below. If something touches you engage, get involved with this tonight, uh, because there's something supernatural that's going to be released and that's going to occur for us collectively on tonight. Listen, I love you guys and I'm glad you're here, right? So let's jump into this. Praise God. Tonight we're entering into part 8, glory to God, of this message on offense. And I thought the Lord would release me tonight to start a series on the kingdom, but I guess we'll be starting that Sunday. I guess I tell people all the time, I am not my own. Most preachers preach what's in their intellect, what's on their mind, and not what's in the realm of the spirit and what God is saying. My quest every time I open my mouth is to say what God is saying. I have no interest in speaking what's on my mind, uh, so I'm not my own. So hopefully God will give us the green light to start that teaching on the kingdom on Sunday morning. I believe that God has something very strategic, very powerful that he wants to say to us. Amen. Glory to God. So tonight, however, we are in part 8 on the spirit of offense. And I really don't think we're through with this because this is a very serious deal, guys. All right, and you, you got to recognize, okay, that offense, uh, again, we've been saying this the whole time, it causes you— listen to me— to, uh, offense often causes you, praise God, to be stagnant, to be stuck, uh, to keep repeating cycles that, uh, you should have been broke out of. Uh, some of you are in the throes of a perpetual financial cycle that you've been in, and many times people start making excuses for that. But a lot of time connected to that somewhere is some level of offense, right? Or some of you going through marriage cycles that seemingly, uh, you keep going through. If you're single, you're going through relationship cycles. You can't seem to get a steady relationship. Some of you are going through cycles in how— where you live and how you live. Uh, somewhere there is something where some idleness has occurred and the promises of God are not moving in your life the way they need to. So let's again get a working definition of the word offense and the word offend, and then we're going to get into this tonight, uh, because we started talking about in this series about not taking offense. I gave you 6 types of offense. One was taking offense, two was giving offense. Uh, we've talked about that last time, glory to God, about striving not to give offense. We unpack that. I have shared with you about being offended at the truth, uh, and I talked in the beginning a little about being offended at God. I believe the Holy Spirit is going to have us, uh, run through that again and just really unpack that box and what that looks like. Um, I talked about a little in the first message about offending the Holy Spirit, and then we mentioned briefly offending yourself. So tonight we're going to unpack offending yourself, but let's first get a working definition, right, of offense. So what is offense? I'm glad you asked. Offense, guys, is from the Greek word skandalon, and it's the name of the part of the trap on which the bait is hung that lures the animal into the trap. So it is an apparatus that— oh my God— bait is attached to, to lure in prey. Can I tell you something? Once again, offense is the enemy's deadliest weapon because he often uses it like that fish hook. You put that worm on the fish hook, it hides the hook. The fish has no idea that there is a hook under that worm, and if he is hungry, he is going to bite that hook, not knowing that that is a death trap. Can I tell you something? The enemy many a times will use the offense that's in our heart, in our spirit, in our flesh even. Come on. And he will hide behind bait like religion, shouting over it, worshiping over it, singing over it. Watch this, faking over it, acting like it doesn't exist and just trying to live through it and not really dealing with it. And he lures us into many a times a lifetime of bitterness, resentment, unforgiveness, and this thing can even scale to the level of hatred. So we got to be very careful, right? So to offend versus the word offense is another word, uh, from that same word skandalon, skandaloo, and it literally means to displease, to make someone angry, to affront someone rudely. Listen, it means that you bring displeasure and instability through either harsh language, through violence, or you can even be comedic, or even through telling the truth someone can take offense. So I want you to understand that God doesn't want us on either side of offense, and the most dangerous thing you could ever do, ladies and gentlemen, hear me, is offend yourself. Come on, church! The most dangerous thing you could ever do is offend yourself. I'ma say it one more time: the most dangerous thing in the world is offending yourself. So the question tonight, the inquiry I have tonight from the Holy Are you offending yourself? Don't answer that too quickly because some of you are, and you've been deceived to believe you're not. So hopefully tonight you won't get offended at the truth, and this word will show you yourself, and you will deal with the areas where you're ultra sensitive where you are offending yourself. Okay, so let's start at Matthew 18. Matthew is a very apostolic book. Okay, so a lot of these texts— and don't forget, engage this tonight, write the text on the screen, uh, as we give you scripture. Glory to God. That way when somebody comes in, they can see where we are, where we've been. Matthew 8, I'm gonna read verses number 8 and 9. The Bible says this, and you've read this text. It says, wherefore, if your hand or your foot offend thee, cut them off and cast them from thee. It is better for thee to enter into life halt or maim rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire. Let me keep reading. And if thine eye offend thee, skandalon, plug it out and cast it from thee. It is better for thee to enter into life with one eye rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell. So the first thing that's happening here, so you own your hands, right? Your hands are your hands. Your feet are your feet. Your eyes are your eyes. So the question becomes tonight, are your eyes offending you? Come on, man. Oh my God. Are your hands offending you? Lord have mercy, Jesus. Ha! My God. Tonight, are your feet offending you? And this parable is not physically— because of course God is not saying to us, cut your feet off, cut your hands off, pluck your eyes out. We have a whole bunch of handless, feetless, eyeless people if this was the case. But Jesus is making a point to bring a better understanding. He's saying that anything in our life that we're doing against our own conscience that belongs to us Oh my God, he says cut it out. Anything that you doing against your own conscience, offending yourself. Watch this, always saying I ain't enough, always saying I'm slow, I'm ugly, I'm not pretty. Listen, the devil is a liar. You're offending your own conscience. I'm not smart. Listen, when you— you're, you're offending— you're doing it against your own conscience. I'm not qualified. Come on, I'm already working on y'all tonight because some of you, you play games in your own mind and you, you stay stuck in a cycle because you've been beating yourself up. Oh my God, all your life. And you're better than— oh my God, what you've been saying to your conscience. Let me tell you something. You are beautiful. You are smart. You are intelligent. Oh my God, you are capable. You are able to do exactly what God created you to do. Come on, man. And let me tell you something. This guy right here, this dude right here, haha, let me tell you something. I used to be that person, as confident as I am. I used to beat myself up really bad. Oh my God, because I didn't feel worthy because of the mistakes I had made, because of the bad decisions I had made in my life. So I walked around in spite of how powerful the blood of Jesus is and kicked myself in the rear end all the time. Because every time, even if I mess up, God's grace was so sufficient to me. You know what he do? He number one, turn around and bless me. And then he'd come back and show me what I'm supposed to be doing in my future. That's, that's grace, baby. But I was so religious in my thinking that I would be guilty in my conscience. And, and God said to me one day, he said, Michael, a guilty conscience is a major problem. And some of you I'm talking about, talking to tonight, you have done something years ago and your conscience is still working on you about that. Matter of fact— oh God, I heard that Holy Ghost right there in my right ear. I heard that some of you feel guilty and offending yourself because of what somebody else is doing— watch this— to themselves. Let me tell you that. Somebody said, don't make sense. Yes it does. Let me tell you why. You should never— listen— let somebody make you feel guilty about what they're doing to themselves. And people, let me tell you something, they got a tendency and a propensity to try because misery and guilt and offense all love comrades. They love company. So people got a habit of trying to make you feel bad about what they're doing to themselves, and it ain't even on you. So a guilty conscience— and this is just what the Holy Spirit said to me— he said, son, it's a major problem because number one, it blocks boldness. Let's go to 1 John 3. Let me show you, let me show it to you. It blocks boldness. You'll never be able to boldly walk by faith and not by sight. Listen to me, if you operate in the place where you're offending yourself— come on, church. 1 John chapter number 3 and verse number 21. 1 John 3:21. Watch this. Beloved, If our heart condemn us not, watch this, then we have, watch this, confidence toward God. Wait a minute, so the Bible says, beloved, that's you and I, right? If our heart doesn't condemn us Oh my God, this is the Bible, y'all. Uh, if our heart doesn't condemn— that word condemn is kato gnōskō. Ooh, gnōskō is to gain knowledge through a process, by relationship, through experience. So kato deals with the idea of negativity. So if you feel guilty from— and your conscience and your heart heart is constantly feeding you negativity about that experience, finding fault. So you— even the people that found fault in you stopped, and you still finding the fault. So he said, but if your heart don't condemn you, then you'll have confidence in God, which the word confidence is parrhesia in Greek. Parrhesia means a frankness of which means you can clearly ask God for whatever you want because there's no guilt on your conscience. You understand that you have a right to all of his promises. You have a right to whatever he says and whatever he desires in your heart. Glory to God! You have a frankness and a bluntness of speech when it comes down to sharing the things of God and walking by faith, because you ain't beating yourself up with that guilty conscience. So this thing gets deeper because offense— now you can be the biggest witch and the biggest offender of yourself. Oh my God. See, and what happens when you got this guilty conscience? The second thing, not only do it block boldness, but it causes us to shrink back into fear. You start walking in fear instead of faith. Fear is the devil's faith. You know, the Bible said faith knocked on the door— I mean, fear knocked on the door, faith answered, fear left. That, that's, that's just true. The Bible don't say that, uh, someone said that, okay? Someone said it, and I agree, I agree, I agree, right? Because faith and fear are inept to each other. They cannot dwell in the same place. And some of you are not progressing. You're still in the same cycle. In your family, in your finances, in your faith. Oh my God. In your purpose and your destiny. Every time you look up, you're going through something in relationships. Every time you look up, you're getting divorced. Oh my God. Oh my God. Don't— listen, you divorce one person, 4 months later you're married to a new dude. And oh my God. And a year later you're getting divorced from the new dude. Listen, you just need to wait on God, right? And because really you're offending yourself and you're trying to fill a void with another person, but you're bringing them into your brokenness. Watch this: whenever you're dysfunctional, hear me, and you're searching for a mate out of dysfunction, you're never gonna find someone functional. Because what offending yourself and deception does, it causes you— oh God— to be so deceived that you start viewing someone that is dysfunctional as functional, functional, because all you can really perceive— oh my God— is dysfunction, because that's all you know. So let me tell you something. I'm working on you. Don't get offended at the truth. I'm just working on you because I want you to get free. I want you not to be afraid to be alone, to wait on God and operate in faith, and know that God's got you, that God's got the mate for you, that God's got the person. Hallelujah! Where you ain't got to have a guilty conscience. Oh, sheatah, breshkatana, beko siandaya. And see, some of you so religious, hear me, that you don't walk by faith anyway, because religion empowers fear. You're afraid of life. You're afraid of what life will do to you if you're not in control. You're afraid to let go and let God have control because you live in offense because of that guilty conscience. But the efficacious, vicarious, substitutionary, redemptive work of Calvary, it cleanses you of your guilt-soiled conscience. And watch this, this for grown folk right here. This is grown folk. The moment you repent of sin, you're forgiven, you're cleansed. The moment you truly repent, metanoia, you have a change of heart, change of mind, and you are godly sorry for what you've done, you're forgiven immediately. It's your conscience that keeps you living in it. All right, let me move on. Romans 9. Romans 9. Let's go to Romans 9. Thank you, Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is teaching us tonight. Ah, Romans 9. Glory to God. I love the word of God. Oh boy. Oh yeah. God, just remember, God said, those of you that stay in this live tonight, hallelujah, your next 10 days are going to be filled with clarity. Don't you be tempted to scroll. And supernatural supply. Don't you get distracted by what's going on around you. Listen, lock in. Glory to God. The Bible says this, Romans 9:1: I say the truth in Christ, I lie not. My conscience— here we go, here we go— also bearing witness. Hallelujah, hallelujah. Me in the Holy Ghost. So Paul said his conscience bore him witness. In other words, he's saying my conscience agrees with my actions. Watch this. Multitudes of people in the body of Christ regularly do things that they know are wrong while they're doing them. And their conscience, uh-oh, doesn't agree, but they do it anyway regularly. I'm not talking about you were tempted, you were drawn away, and you ended up in sin, you repented, you cleaned up, and you kept it moving. I'm just talking about people who sin all the time regularly. Because if you walk in this life, even if you don't do it, you're going to think it. And Jesus even said if you thought it, you're wrong. So I'm not saying— and don't beat yourself up about that, repent. I'm just talking about people that choose consciously, deliberately to keep living in something and you ain't got no witness in your conscience. Listen, your conscience and the Holy Ghost ought to agree. That's what Paul said in 9:1 with what you're doing. You ever heard people say, 'Something told me not to do that'? Yeah, that something was your conscience. Glory to God, not agreeing. Or when it tells you to do it, is your conscience, the Holy Ghost, influencing your conscience. Science is knowledge, con is against. So con goes against your natural knowledge. Oh God, I feel like teaching tonight, y'all. Y'all excuse me. Glory to God. So conscience deals with you knowing together with yourself and bearing witness to your conduct. So it go— watch this. So you— so, oh God, your knowledge that is wrong or right is there. And watch this, the Holy Ghost is the con that goes against fleshly and carnal knowledge, so you can see, hallelujah, what's right, and you can walk in it. Yeah, hallelujah. So let's talk a little bit about condemnation and feelings of guilt, guys. Because listen, I gotta move, I gotta move, because a lot of times we're condemning ourselves, we're feeling guilty, and we don't know how to get past that. Some of you still condemn yourself for 10 years ago. I don't care what you did. Hallelujah! Jesus died to set us free from condemnation and guilt. Listen, Listen, but here's the catch. True freedom— I said true freedom, I'm not talking about lip service freedom, I'm talking about true freedom, right? True freedom requires a combination of the blood of Jesus and the right choices, right? His blood bought our freedom, right? That's the truth. We freed by the blood. I said it already: efficacious, vicarious, substitutionary, redemptive blood of Jesus sets us free. But if we remain in sin when we know it's wrong, then we are not using the freedom that he gave us. Ah, so in other words, whenever you continue in sin, you sinning regularly, you living like a sinner— I'm again, I'm not talking about you fail you made a mistake, you ended up in something and you trying to get free. I'm not talking about that. I'm talking about you making the wrong choices all the time to do something and you know it's wrong. Real freedom and using your liberty, yeah, is making the right choice all the time. See, we're saying, God, I appreciate the freedom. Listen, we are free hear this. Listen, somebody type this on the screen. We are free from sin and condemnation. Listen, I'm gonna pull up some— but we are not free to sin and then try to rebuke condemnation. Oh my God, oh my God, I gotta be on another live at night. I gotta be on a live Zoom in 9 minutes, but I, I got, I gotta, I gotta finish this up, y'all. Oh, watch this. We are not free to sin and then try to rebuke the condemnation. Ha! We free from sin and condemnation, but we ain't free just to be in sin regularly and then try to rebuke it when we get condemned. No, the Holy Ghost gonna condemn you so you'll repent for real and not go back See, some people sin and then they start feeling guilty and they start trying to rebuke the condemnation. It don't work. That condemnation comes with sin. So you're— again, you're not walking totally in the freedom when you're constantly committing acts of sin, whether in thought or deed. So what shall we do, y'all, about sin? Don't scroll, because I know y'all don't want to hear this. Do not scroll. First thing, listen, I'm going to give you a couple of things that you need to do about sin. The first thing you need to do about sin: call it what it is. Number one, call sin what it is. Listen, don't call sin, oh, this our little problem, or this is a problem area in my life. Or don't say I sinned. Or listen, don't say I missed it. Say I sinned. Call it what it is. When— listen, when you, when you sin, go to God, say, I sinned, I committed adultery, I sinned, I lied. I sinned. I missed the mark right here, God. I didn't obey. You told me to go left, I went right. I sinned. Call it what it is. That's the first thing you got to do, because watch this— as long as you don't call sin sin, you're offending yourself. It's bait. Ah, it's bait that the devil uses. Glory to God. To draw you in. Ah, God. That's the first thing. Call it what it is, y'all. Call it what it is. You know what it is. You know that thing. You know that thing that tickles your fancy. You know that thing that your flesh just loves. Just call it what it is. You're a masturbator and need to be delivered. Just call it. Say, I sinned I masturbated and I need to get free, God, because you consistently in it and won't call it what it is. Oh, somebody said, Woods, that ain't sin, I do that to stay safe. No, it's sin, it's sin. I don't have time to teach about that tonight, but the word fornication, the Greek word is porne, is the root of the words like pornographic. Come on. So Whether you masturbate to porn or a graphic porno image in your mind thinking of someone, you're still having sex. It's fornication. The only problem is you're having sex with yourself. Oh, y'all don't like this teaching, right? I don't care, I'm gonna keep teaching it. And I already done taught you, don't be offended by the truth. Come on, don't say— oh, don't say I sinned, I slept with someone. No, say, I fornicated. God help me, deliver me, get me free. Or even if you didn't do it and you thought it, say, Lord, I thought about sleeping with this person and I know I wasn't supposed to think about that. Instead of saying, oh, I missed it, this is a problem area in my life, or blaming somebody else because of your desires, because you're offending yourself. Oh, that's the question tonight. So what do we do about sin? Call it what it is. Second thing— okay, yeah, I thank you, Holy Spirit. I have 4 minutes, I ain't gonna make it. I'm gonna just have to start that Zoom while I'm on here and tell them, glory to God, that I'll be in directly. Glory to God. Listen, listen, too, I'm catching my breath because this thing is this powerful right here. You gotta learn the difference, y'all, between what you really can't do and what you don't want to do. I'm gonna say that again. You gotta learn the difference between what you really can't do and what you don't want to do. All right, so let me tell you what that means. A lot of people are in bondage and broke down and captive to sin. Watch this, because they don't want to be free badly enough. See, people be saying, I can't be free. They really don't want to be free. That's the problem, because people— you got to learn the difference. See, if you really want to be free, you can. And there are a lot of people that want to be free— watch this— but they don't want to be uncomfortable. Because many people been bound with a certain sin and living in that type of sin or missing the mark in that area so long, or offending themselves so long, freedom makes them uncomfortable. Oh my God. The children of Israel, they got delivered from Egypt. So there's a trichotomy to the children of Israel's journey, right? So they are in bondage in Egypt. Moses comes down in his apostolic authority, obedient to God, tells Pharaoh, let my people go, said the Lord. Pharaoh lets them go, and the Bible said he delivers them into the wilderness. Watch this. So now you got Egypt, which represents bondage, the wilderness, which represents deliverance, okay? And then you got the promised land. Here's the third part of the trichotomy that represents freedom. So a lot of people have been delivered from Egypt, which is bondage, which is sin, into the wilderness but they have not moved into true freedom because freedom is uncomfortable because of the responsibility that goes along with being free. Oh my God, it's a lot of saints just in the wilderness. They went over into the promise. You know why they stay there? Because in the wilderness you get manna. That's not a place where God wants you. Manna. Manna means what is it? You don't even know what it is, but you're just eating it because it gets you full. God rained manna from heaven where you live under the spout of God taking care of you like you are a baby. Watch this, there's no responsibility in wilderness. Your clothes grow with you. And watch this, every time they would get ready to make a move that would cross them over, these Israelites would complain the Moses and said, we shouldn't have came out here with you. We were better off when we were in Egypt. Take us back to Pharaoh. You know why? And Pharaoh took pride in them being slaves because he kept them fed with the best food. He kept them dressed. He kept them strong because he needed his slaves strong. Had child care in Egypt, future slaves. Wasn't like that in the wilderness. They had to live off quail from heaven, manna from heaven, clothes growing with them, and they complained the whole time in wilderness. You could tell people who are living in offense to themselves because even though God is moving them from one place to another and they can't quite get over into the promise, they constantly complain. Never complain about what you permit. Watch this. Freedom is a land that flows with milk and honey. Wait a minute, milk doesn't fall out of the sky, it comes from a cow. So that means in freedom I gotta milk that cow, I gotta work, I gotta have responsibility. Even though I'm gonna inherit the blessing, I gotta take care of it and it's going to require work to— oh yeah, yeah, yeah, it flows with milk and honey. Somebody's got to go in them beehives and get that honey. Listen, somebody gotta plow that— those fields that God gave to the children of Israel. Come on, man. See, people want to stay where it's easy. They don't want to be uncomfortable. Oh, listen, people who are unwilling to take responsibility and suffer in the flesh Watch this. They are not finished with sin. And I'm not talking about fornication, adultery, lying, cheating, all those big sins, murder. I'm just talking about sin, harmisia in Greek, missing the mark. Because if you ain't willing to suffer in the flesh, you're not finished with sin. But those who are willing to suffer in the flesh, they're finished. Somebody say finished with intentional sin. In other words, Yes, you're gonna make mistakes, you're gonna fall, and sometimes falling helps you to realize just how powerful God's grace is. God knows everything about you. He knows when you're gonna fall. He knows when you're gonna be strong enough to make it. Let's go to 1 Peter. Let me keep going, man. Oh my God, 1 Peter, 1 Peter. I feel Jesus. Oh, I got— oh God, it's 9. Let me do this while I'm going to 1 Peter. 1 Peter chapter 4. Let me log into this Zoom right quick, y'all. 1 Peter chapter 4, we're gonna read verses 1 and 2. Here we go, here we go, here we go. 1 Peter, 1 Peter chapter 4. 4. I should have been there, right? 1 Peter chapter 4. Thank y'all for y'all patience. Verses 1 and 2. Forasmuch then as Christ has suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourself likewise with the same mind. For he had that— he had— he— for he that have suffered in the flesh, watch this, has ceased from sin. I told you that he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lust of men. Watch this, to the will of God. So when you, when you decide, I'm gonna go through whatever my flesh want it, but I want God more, right? That's, that's basically what these two verses saying. Because I'm gonna tell you something right here, what your flesh desires— for you all religious and deep ones, let me tell you something. It ain't going away. I'm gonna say it one more time, it's not going away. I'm gonna say it again, it's not going away. So you gotta bring it under control. Anything that's not going away, because your flesh— no good thing comes out of the flesh— you got to bring it under control, right? And you got to put it in a safety mode so that it's being controlled under the auspices of the Holy Spirit. So you're done with the intentional sin. Hallelujah! Because your life now wants to please God again. And I'm not saying you're not gonna make a mistake, because we all do, right? Let's go to Hebrews 12 and verse number 1. Oh boy, we walking this Bible tonight. It said, wherefore— watch this— seeing we are also compassed with so great a cloud of witnesses, Let us lay aside every weight. Let us lay aside every weight and the sin which does so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us. Lord have mercy. He said strip off, throw aside every weight and the sin. Two different things. Uh, somebody touch themselves. I gotta lose some of this weight. I'm not talking about physically. You need to lose them weights where you're offending yourself, that guilty conscience. Yes, Lord. You need to get that weight off you, that stuff that's weighing heavy on your mind, that you're blaming yourself for somebody else's problem, that you're blaming yourself for something still that you did years ago. You're blaming yourself because you were molested. It wasn't your fault. Oh my God, it wasn't your fault. He said lay aside that weight. This is why people live these alternative lifestyles and they live in ways that are not pleasing to themselves nor God. It's a known fact, and these are statistics. Glory to God, 81.9% of all homosexual or lesbians, they live under the auspices of a guilty conscience, and they don't have clarity on how to get back to innocence. Because what was— who's Shabba Deyansa? Y'all excuse me on this Zoom. Glory to God. Lord have mercy. You know, I ain't gonna make it to this Zoom tonight. Listen, you guys on this Zoom, y'all might as well jump on Facebook Live and watch this. I'm gonna have to reschedule this with all of you. I, I, I, I feel the anointing and I gotta teach this and I don't want to be distracted by this. So you guys jump on this live on Facebook or YouTube, any one of my Facebook page, on YouTube at Rodder TV, and you listen, listen, you need this. Glory to God, glory to God. Let me jump off this Zoom. All right, so I'm out the Zoom, I'm out the Zoom, I'm out the Zoom. So we need to understand, guys, Some of these people that are living these alternative lifestyles, who are lesbians, who are homosexuals, trans— transgender people, all right, they're— something down in them, 81.9%, some of them have become reprobate and they just are so deceived that they believe, I'm supposed to be like this. But 81.9% According to a survey by a group of students who created some empirical data with 10,000 people, all right, 81.9% came back and said there's something in them that knows it's not right every time they participate in the act, and they struggle fighting back to innocence. And they constantly beat themselves up about their sexuality because they're feeling guilty about what somebody else did to them. Come on, church, we got to deal with this thing violently. We got to stop playing games with it. Oh, the Lord loves the homosexual, he loves the lesbian, he loves the whoremonger. Yeah, he does. But the whore— the whoremonger, the hoe Yeah, the lesbian, the fornic— oh my God, the fornicator, the homosexual, the transgender, the queer, all need deliverance. And they need to strip that weight off because they're living under a weight because of some— what somebody else did to them. And you got to deal with this thing violently. Matthew 11:12 said the kingdom of God suffer violence. But the violent take it by force. So you and I, we need to forcefully advance the kingdom agenda in our life. That word force is harpazo in Greek, and it literally means— oh my God— to subdue. There, that word is from Genesis 1:28. So we gotta subdue the earth, we gotta enslave the thing that's trying to enslave us. We gotta seek it out with an ardent zeal. And watch this, we got to have an intensity that says we cannot be stopped. We cannot take the things that we're suffering with laying down. And I want to say something with love and compassion to any homosexual, lesbian, whoremonger, nymphomaniac. Listen to me, listen, you don't have to be like that. You can fight your way back to innocence. You can violently take your manhood back. Glory to God. You can take your femininity, Bormonger. You can live and be faithful to one woman because God is a deliverer. Oh, watch this. Violent people who take it by force, they don't just wish they did not feel the way they do. Watch When you're violent about this thing, you refuse to bow your knee to it. Glory to God. You refuse to worship it. I'm not gonna have you read it, but you can type it in the comments. Luke 1— I'm sorry, wait a minute, it's Luke 4, uh, verses 1 through 13. Listen to me, read it later. But Satan in that text wanted Jesus to bow his knee and worship him. Him just one time. He tempted him 3 times. Listen, every time we submit to the temptation to sin— oh, thank God for the power to overcome, glory to God— we are bowing our knee to Satan. Oh Lord, if somebody would have told me this all them times I bowed my knee, if I'd had this revelation I might not have bowed my knee so many times in the past. You looking at a dude that while I was saved, I made a lot of mistakes. I bowed my knee to that spirit that was in me many times, that fornication demon, many times. I'm just gonna keep it all the way 100 like I always do. And I remember so many nights and mornings waking up in the wrong bed. Crying, repenting, beating myself up because I knew I wasn't supposed to be there. Oh yeah, yeah. And I was— and I knew I had bowed my knee to Satan. But I learned something, guys. One, temptation was never going away as long as I was alive and in my body. I even tell my wife, I said, listen, you're gonna always see somebody on this planet that's finer, that's more handsome than me, always. And she, she's so bold. We could be watching a movie, she looking, she's making noise, all kind of crap. I mean, we have fun with you like that. So in a day, I'm not offended because I know it's there, but But at the end of the day, we have to resist temptation steadfastly. Temptation is not sin, yielding is. How do we resist it and be steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of God? I'm, I'm glad you asked. It's easy. You gotta pray. This is how I got free, y'all. And you got to be determined that I'm gonna overcome this. See, you can't just pray and not be determined. One without the other is not gonna work. I'm telling you right now, and I did it, been there, done that. Got a t-shirt, shorty. I got a t-shirt, tell you right now. You better listen to me. I got the t-shirt, shorty. I done been there. You can't just pray and not be determined to overcome it because you're gonna end up in that bed again. Yeah, you're gonna end up in that sin again. You're gonna end up deceiving yourself, lured in by offense and saying this is okay, I deserve to do this. Oh, you offended yourself. You talking about I deserve to do this because I was raped, because I was molested. No, you don't deserve to do it. You're offending yourself, and that's the enemy luring you into something. Oh, my husband cheated on me, so I'm gonna cheat on him. Or my wife cheated on me, so I'm gonna cheat on her. You don't get to do that. That's not how this works. You gotta pray and be determined. I'm gonna overcome this thing I'm fighting with, right? Let's talk, let's talk a little bit, let's talk a little bit, let's talk a little bit. Yeah, God, I hear you. Let's talk a little bit about hidden sin. Oh, let's go to Hosea 5. Hosea, that's one of them books you got to fast and pray to find. Hosea 5. Lord, I wanted to help my future millionaires tonight. Oh my God. Oh my God. Oh Jesus, I wanted to help him, but this word, it's got to go forth. My God, listen. Hosea 5, verse 15. Watch this. The Bible says, I will go and return to my place till they acknowledge their offense and seek my face. In their affliction, they will seek me early. So God— watch this, this scripture is so powerful, man. He's— the Bible says here God withdraws his manifest presence until we acknowledge our offense. See, oh boy, because some of your prayers are hindered. Some of your fellowship privately with God— the most crazy thing in the world is you be able to lead other people into the presence and you can't tap in in private. You can't hear God's voice in private because you refuse to acknowledge your offense. Ah, I don't ever want to be where God was. I always want to be where he is. God help us. Sin offends God as well as our own God consciousness. So you gotta acknowledge it and repent. Oh my God, let me show you what that looks like because y'all don't believe me. Go to Psalm Let me just show you Psalm 51, very familiar passage of scripture. Y'all stay with me. Somebody ought to share this and bless somebody else because you know somebody that's stuck. They keep repeating the cycles. They can't break their financial cycle. My God, they can't break cycles of failure because they keep offending themselves by going through the same repudiated processes of sin in their life. I'm just trying to help y'all. I love y'all, man. God, I wish y'all could feel my compassion right here. I mean, I'm trying to hold back tears because at the end of the day, listen to me, this is real. You got to get this crap that's offending you and God out of your life. God help us. Help me. Help us, God. Help us to not offend you. Can we pray that really quick? Say this with me. Say, Heavenly Father— we'll get to Psalm 51. Say, Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, come on, say, Father, help me to remove any hidden sin from my life that's offending you and offending my conscience. Say, in the name of Jesus, I am washed. Oh yeah, in your blood. Say, I am free and I am determined to overcome this. So Father, break the cycle. In my life. In Jesus' name, amen. Do you realize— oh my God, the children of Israel, back to that story, uh, bondage, deliverance, freedom. Not bondage, freedom. Bondage, deliverance, freedom. And many of the saints are just delivered and not free. Yeah, they're stuck in the wilderness. They stuck in a cycle round and around. You realize they could have got in the promised land in 10 plus 2, 12 days. In that, in the topography, if you look at it on a map and you, you map it out, it's a 12-day journey on foot. It took them 40 years. Could it be possible that some of the delays in your life are connected to the wilderness because you refuse to come out of the wilderness? And walk in the blessing of the Lord that makes rich and adds no sorrow. My God, today I gotta, I gotta move, y'all. Psalm 51, verse 1. The Bible says, you know, God, have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness, according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies. Blot out my transgressions. Watch me thoroughly. This is David praying, right? From mine iniquity. He had slept with Bathsheba, sent her husband to the front line, all right? And he had not repented— watch this— with it, for these sins, up until now. Let's, let's unpack this story. Watch this. He says, for I acknowledge my transgression. And my sin is ever before me. He said, against thee, thee only, have I sinned and done this evil in thy sight, that thou mightest be justified when thou speaketh and be clear when thou judgest. Behold, I was shapen in iniquity, and in sin did my mother conceive me. My God, behold, thou desire truth in the inward parts, and in the hidden part thou shall make me know wisdom. In other words, you're going to show me, God, how not to do this again, because I don't want to go here. Hallelujah. He says, purge me with hyssop. I love this. Purge me with hyssop. Hyssop. Hyssop. Oh my God, hyssop is— somebody used this, uh, word hyssop as an excuse really in the text for burning sage, but that's not what this means. All right, this is not— I mean, I'm not coming against you if you burn sage, that's your business, right? I'm just telling you, you don't need sage to get an answer prayer. You need— you don't need sage to run demon spirits out. What you need is some power. That's what you need. You don't need no incense. You need power. So that's a whole nother teaching. But this word hyssop has nothing to do with burning sage. It is a word actually, azab or izobe. Izobe in Hebrew. Izobe means— watch this— it is a medicinal plant. And azobe is a medicinal plant that cleanses the body. All right, so David said— and watch this— it was known to cleanse the body of any infection, any toxins, inside and out. You could bathe with it and you could take it internally, and it would cleanse your external and internal parts. David said, 'Isobe, put the isobe in my skin, in my body, and let this thing be totally away from me.' He said, 'If you do this, I'll be clean. Wash me and I shall be whiter than snow.' In other words, David is really saying, 'I don't want to be a part of this sin anymore. I messed up.' That's what true repentance is. It restores us to the top. Read pent, re-return, pent, as with the words like penthouse. It returns us to the top, it cleanses us. That's what the blood does, right? Make me to hear joy and gladness, that the bones which thou has broken may rejoice. Wait a minute, wait a minute. He says— uh-oh, this is heavy right here. He says, make me to hear— people skip over this text, right? David says, I'm broken. Watch this. The bones which thou has broken can't rejoice. Now David says, I'm broken inside and out, and I can't hear joy and gladness. I'm sad, I'm sorrowful, and I'm broken. He said, thou— the bones which thou has broken God bothers us to make us better. He breaks us to make us better. Oh, he said, hide thy face from my sins and blot out my iniquities. Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew the right spirit within me. Cast me not away from thy presence and take not thy Holy Spirit away from me. Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation and uphold me with thy free spirit. Then I will teach transgressors your ways, and sinners shall be converted unto thee. See, we need to stop trying to teach people who are in sin about being free from sin if we're still in sin. Listen, let me give you some history. In 2 Samuel 11:26 through chapter 12, verse 7, God sends Nathan to David— since the prophet to confront him. It takes David a year to repent and write this psalm. Listen, the Bible is clear now that this happened a year. So my question is, was David's conscience not working, or was he justifying his actions? We have a tendency to justify our actions all too much. See, we deceive ourselves when we do that because now we're reasoning in an area that's contrary to the truth. Watch this. God speaks the truth and we give a reason. God says the truth is you can't have sex with that woman because you're married. We say, well, God, I'm not having sex at home. No, you don't. You can't reason with that. No, you better figure out a way to have sex at home, because at the end of the day, no matter how bad you feel like you got a right to do that, you're offending yourself, you're offending God, you're offending your marriage. Yeah, yeah. So, and it works that way in any way when God speaks truth and you give a reason. The Bible says it's wrong, you say it's right. You say, oh, I got molested by my uncle. Who's a man, and you a man, you say that, yeah, and God says, okay, you can't be a homosexual, you got to fight this, you got to fight through it, you got to receive truth and get free. And you give a reason, well, I don't know how to love a woman, I'm only attracted to men, so that means that's the way you created me. No, if God created you that way— come on, church— if he wanted you to be attracted to men, you would have a vagina. Yeah, it's very obvious based on your body part that you're supposed to be attracted to a woman. There is no part of a man's body that suggests you should have sex with him. Come on, man, I'm listening. There's no— okay, women on women, women like to justify theirs, but at the end of the day, if you got to strap something on, come on. You weren't created with that. You're not supposed to be there. You're in the wrong place. Okay, let me keep moving. Y'all mad. James, y'all mad. I'm sorry, I'm sorry, y'all mad. Don't be offended, I'm just telling the truth tonight. Oh God, you— and don't scroll. Somebody needs this. James 1:22. I'm teaching better than y'all saying amen. Somebody click like, like this. Say something, please. Let me know I'm talking right. James 1:22, it says, but be doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving ourselves. So we deceive ourselves when we reason contrary to what we ought to be doing and what we know is true. The Bible says in Jeremiah 17:9— let's go there, let's go there— Jeremiah 17:9. I'm preaching better than y'all saying amen. I'm telling you right now tonight, Jeremiah 17 and verse 9. 17 and 9. Oh, I feel like preaching. Listen, watch this. Jeremiah 17:9. I'm sorry. Glory to God. Jeremiah 17:9. Boy, I love the word of God. Thank you, Jesus. It says, the heart is deceitful above all else, who can know his own heart and mind? Watch this, let me tell you something, because the heart will deceive you and make you feel like something is right and it really ain't right. Listen, married man, I'm gonna tell you something, man. I don't care how many excuses you make, it ain't right for you to have a chick on the side. This guy here— yeah, me, this dude, this dude right here. I had chicks, chicks on the side when I was married to my last wife, man, and it went right. I had all kind of excuses. I felt like I had a right to do it, and because I justified it in my mind, and it was wrong, wrong, wrong. Oh my God. Here's what I learned: I was deceiving myself. And the Holy Spirit said, son, you got to pray for truth, and you got to pray not to be deceived, and you need me to expose all of your excuses. So I'm telling you tonight, the heart is deceitful, and you can't know it out of the flesh. So according to that scripture we just read in Jeremiah 17:9, right? So you need to pray regularly for truth, to not be deceived, and for God to expose all of your excuses. Because sometimes you're making an excuse for what you want to do and what you're doing, offending yourself. Come on. And it really— listen to me— needs to be exposed because you believe that you're right. You're deceived. We need to pray regularly for truth, to not be deceived, and say, God, expose all of our excuses. Oh my God. See, what you need to do— and listen, when I thought about this, thank you Lord, this thing been going through my head, and as I've played with this intellectually hear this, you and I have to maintain a conscience that's void of offense to God and to man. So I got to make sure not in what I do or what I say, I, I need to maintain the conscience that doesn't offend God and doesn't offend man, including me, and as a human Wow, because you know what, that could be a full-time job, trying not to think about something that offends God, that offends yourself or someone else. Listen, that requires an aggressive attitude that is so tenacious toward keeping sin out of our lives. And then you got to be so aggressive to be quick to repent when you do sin, whether in thought or deed. Watch this. In order to maintain a conscience that's void of offense to God and man, you got to be very careful— watch this— about the way you treat people. We got to be careful about the way we treat people because again, it's offensive to man. We got to be— watch this— we gotta apologize. Yeah, I've had to apologize to a whole lot of people, man. As I matured and grew, I knew I owed people apology for how something I may have done offended them. So we gotta apologize to anybody we have hurt or offended because we're blocking our blessing. We're stuck in a circle. We're 'Cause it's— while you offend them, you're offending yourself too. And we gotta just do right, man. Listen, I'm close. I'm about to close, y'all. I'm about to go. I think, I think, I think— stay with me, stay with me. Can you stay with me just a few moments? Listen, if you'll give me 5 more minutes, type it in the comments. 5 more minutes, 5 more minutes, 5 more minutes. Come on, type it, type it in the comments. 5 more minutes. If you give me 5 more minutes, type it in the comments. Because here's what I want to tell you: one of the ways to strong-arm this thing and offending yourself is to make a declaration and a pact with you that, yeah, if you can't do it in faith, don't do it. I'm gonna say it again: if you cannot do it in faith faith. Don't do it. Now this is a whole nother level, because when you— good God Almighty, oh my God— when you can't do what you're doing— faith, pistos in Greek, with absolute confidence, reliance, and dependence on God. That's what faith is: absolute confidence, reliance, and dependence on God. So if you can't do it do it with absolute faith, reliance, and dependence on God. Confidence, reliance, dependence on God. Don't do it. Don't do it. Don't do it. Let's go to Romans 14:23. I love the Bible, man. Romans 14:23. Stay with me. Don't leave. Don't leave. Don't leave. Don't leave. Come on, don't leave. Don't leave. Don't leave. Don't leave. Please don't leave. Come on, don't leave. Come on, saints, don't leave. Stay with me, stay with me. I'm almost done. Glory to God. On this Thursday night, I might as well teach the word. I just need a few people that love the word and the Bible, and I'm gonna teach it. Glory to God. Touch yourself and say, if I can't do it in faith, I'm not doing it. Glory to God. Come on, type it in the screen. If I can't do it in faith, I'm not doing it. Glory be to God. Okay, let me read the Bible. 14:23. And he that doubteth is damned if he eat— watch this— because he eateth not of faith. For whatsoever is not of faith Faith is sin. For those of you that's been fighting faith, you're ignorant, because anything that you do without faith— uh-oh. You ain't a homosexual, you ain't a lesbian, you— oh, okay, you ain't a whoremonger, you ain't a liar, you don't drink, you don't do nothing, man, but you ain't got no faith. The Bible says You're in sin. Listen, it may take you the rest of your life— watch this— to really understand the depths of this verse because it's such a dichotomy, a balance on both sides. On one end, if you can't do it in faith, don't do it. If it's something you can accomplish in your flesh and not with God, Oh, if it ain't big enough where you need God's help to do it, don't do it. See, we are major on the small, but you need to test yourself and do something bigger than your flesh. Listen, if you can't do anything, don't do it. On one side, watch this, you can't do it in faith. You can't have absolute confidence, total reliance total dependence on God to commit sin. You shouldn't— faith ain't even in that equation in no way. So if you can't do it in faith, don't do it. Listen, when we start doing things that we cannot do in faith— here we go, thank you Lord, thank you Lord— we are not walking in integrity. Let me say that again: when we start doing things that we cannot do in faith, we are not walking in integrity. See, integrity lives with a clear conscience, huh? Because you know you did the right thing, so your conscience is clear. You're never looking over your shoulder because you know you did the right thing. Oh boy, yeah, yeah, yeah. I, I got some people that have accused me of things I didn't do in the past. Some still got an accusation on their lip. I don't worry about that crap because at the end of the day, I know I did the right thing. I know I did exactly what I was supposed to do. And I know that even whether it was in a business deal, whether it was— oh my God, God in a personal relationship, I know, glory to the name of God, with a clear conscience that I, before God, did everything I was supposed to do. So I don't look over my shoulder. I don't care what they do underground. I don't care what they say because their motive— watch this— was jacked up in the first place. And so the Holy Ghost peeped their motive and they got angry because their motive was peeped. And at the end of the day, when you know you've done what's right, who cares what people say? Because you operating in a clear conscience. Listen, when you operating in integrity, you got to understand that integrity will never justify what the conscience condemns. So when you're walking Integrity, honesty. Good God Almighty, a clear conscience. You can have, you have stuff condemning, trying to condemn you, but integrity says, uh-uh, no way. You did what was right. Now you got something warring on your behalf that supersedes what's trying to condemn you because your actions were correct. Listen, Joseph preferred prison and a clear conscience rather than going to the palace and being condemned. He could have easily went to the palace before time if he would have just slept with Potiphar's wife. He could have just gave Potiphar's wife what she wanted. Oh my God, Potiphar's wife wanted the pipe. Joseph said no, you can't have it. Because I'm not going to live in condemnation to my God. And even if it means me going to prison— he never would have went to prison, but part of the process was for him to go to the pit, to endure Potiphar's wife, to go to prison, then the palace, because that process qualified him to keep the palace. He had to go through it. Stop trying to compromise and get there too fast. This— you got people out here sleeping their way to the top. I know if I call this, uh, particular evangelist's name, who has become huge in the body of Christ, television, uh, oh my God, all kind of stuff, political involvement, uh, done major things in the body of Christ. Done— she's preached probably for everybody that's somebody. You know, there's somebody, right? But I know for a fact this woman has slept with many of the preachers that has opened the doors for them, because preachers are not faithful. They talk. Come on now. And watch this, everybody ain't lying, because you got some that don't even know each other saying the same thing about the same person. Let me tell you something, if 10 people call you a jackass Everybody ain't lying. I'm gonna tell you right now, if 10 people call you the same thing, everybody is not lying. There's some truth to it. So at the end of the day, don't sell your soul for position and popularity. Oh boy, I'm teaching better. Y'all say— y'all, I know y'all like this. It's a whole lot of stuff out here, you know, that you could be listening to that'll tickle your fancy. but this is gonna get you free if you receive it. Let's go to Daniel 1:8. Let's look at that. Let's look at that. All right, all right, I hear you, Holy Ghost. I gotta close because y'all, y'all, y'all ain't getting offended by the truth. Daniel 1 and verse number 8. Oh my God, good God Almighty. The Bible said, but Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's meat, nor with the wine which he drank. Therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself. Now watch this. This text shows us that Daniel did not— he had a holy resolve. Glory to God. Because he didn't feel right about the king's rich dainties because he made a commitment to God about eating certain things. And he said, look, I'm not going to eat that because I have told God that I'm not gonna eat it. I'm not gonna defile myself with— that was his holy resolve. Do you have a holy resolve? And I'm not going to touch that because I made a vow to the Lord. But we used to sing a song, I made a vow to the Lord and I won't take it back. I made a vow to the Lord and I won't take it back. Y'all remember them call and response songs? Listen, Daniel said, I made a vow and I ain't taking it back. I don't feel right about this. And when you don't feel right about something in your spirit, listen, move in integrity. Glory to God. Thank you, Jesus. Listen, a person of integrity is always— yes, God, thank you, Holy Spirit, thank you, Father— gonna pay attention to the little things. Ah, the things, the little foxes that spoil the vine. Titus 2:7. Boy, we finna hit hard, man. Man, the Holy Ghost is working on us tonight. I'm gonna teach this. Titus 2:7. I gave up the ghost on my, uh, Zoom tonight, so we'll get to those people another time. But listen, because I, I knew the Lord wanted to release this word, and I'm gonna get it out. Y'all stay with them. Remember, the Lord said in the prophecy in the beginning that those that stay tapped in tonight, this next 10 days is going to be filled with clarity and supernatural supply. I believe it. I receive it in the name of Jesus. Titus 2:7, watch this. He says, in all things showing thyself a pattern of good works, in doctrine showing uncorruptness, gravity, and sincerity. In order— he's saying, look, we need to have the strictest regard for truth. That's basically what he's saying. He says, in all things showing a pattern of— you have to be consistent in good works. I went out today to play a practice round because I'm playing next week, um, and I needed to just kind of get some practice in today. I'll probably get some more in on Saturday before I go out to this event next week. But listen to me, one of the things I have learned about my golf shot— hear me— The way to score good is to hit consistent shots. If you hit the fairway in range consistently and you hit the green in range consistently, do those two things, you got a 90% chance of scoring better every single time. Because all you're really doing after those consistent efforts is putting. Because you've hit the fairway in range, you hit the green in range, all you got to do now is putt correctly. And if you putt consistently, you're going to play like the pros. So at the end of the day, we got to be consistent in our good works, a pattern. And so I have to make sure I perfect swings— listen— that work. And I got to practice those and make sure I'm doing the same thing every time so my ball is going straight. I got carry, I got ball flight. I drove a ball today 311 yards and I had to glue in my mind exactly what I did on this particular hole to make sure that I'm hitting the ball. And I've drove it 311, I've driven the ball much farther than that before. But I drove it 311 with the wind coming at me hard. it's really a good drive with that wind in your face. But I had to understand, how do I consistently strike the ball like that even with the elements blowing in my face? Powerful stuff, man. But we got to be consistently consistent regarding the little things when we walk in the— it should mean something. You can't tell a little white lie. It's a lie, man. And if you do it, you need to repent and stop. I mean, I'm just saying these particular things, but whatever you're doing, you know, um, how about this? You know, yeah, Titus. Let's go Titus. Let's just go to Titus. I was getting ready to quote a scripture. Let's go Titus. Titus 2:9. Watch this. Exhort servants to be obedient to their own masters and to please them well in all things, not answering again Verse 10: But prolonging, but showing all good fidelity, that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Savior in all things. Watch this, here we go. So he said, regard the doc— adorn ourselves with the teachings of Christ, the doctrine of Christ, the doctrine of God in everything we do, not just when we're in church behind the four falls, right? So you can even exaggerate by faith. Yeah, you got to make sure what you're speaking in faith is what God has said, that aligns with his word, what he can do. Watch this: regarding God in all things, the small things, please him well in all things, right? So that means— let me give you an example. If you're an employee You don't steal small things of value. Oh my God. For example, you don't steal rubber bands, paper clips, pens, notepads, because they're there for the job, right? Ah, ah, God have mercy. Yeah, okay, I'm gonna keep moving because y'all say, 'Pastor, you mellowing.' Listen, Listen, if your conscience wasn't bothering you about taking that stuff, you wouldn't hide it. You wouldn't need to hide it. You just walk out the door with pens and rubber bands, and you won't be trying to hide in your bag, in your pockets. This is because it bothers you. You know it's wrong, right? You know, it bothers the heck out of me, guys, when I go to the grocery store and I see buggies all over the parking lot. You know why? Because one, people have no regard for those guys that got to pick those buggies up and bring them back in the store. So now these guys got to walk all over the parking lot, gather the buggies, and bring them in, right? So there's a sign on most of these stores that say buggy return here. So that sign leads somewhere. All signs lead somewhere. So you should obey the sign, right? Yeah, little foxes. Come on, church. Little foxes. And when you don't put that buggy back where it belongs, you're not obeying that sign and you're not practicing, oh, integrity in all things. Or watch this. Oh my God, you got a coupon, you clip the coupon that says One item per customer. But you find two more coupons like that because you really want that item. And you put your daughter in one line and you put your son who's 6 in one line. Got him in on the line. Y'all not talking. And now you got 3 per customer. The small things, right? Oh, come on. Come on. Come on, wait a minute, wait a minute. I'll never forget this. It's a powerful place. It's a place of deliverance for me. I went to Walmart one time way back, probably about 12 years ago now, and, uh, I bought something that came up to like $2.33. I paid the cashier with a $5 bill. Now, the lady had on glasses and she obviously didn't see that it was a $5. She thought it was a $50. So she gave me change back for a $50. And when she put the change in my hand, I didn't— that's a lot of money. I didn't even think me that, that moment with what was going on. I stuck it in my pocket, went out the store. Now granted, again, she had these glasses. I mean, her glasses was thick, guys. If— listen, if her glasses would have dropped on the floor and broke, it'd have been medicine everywhere. They've been sweeping up medicine in Walmart for days. As I think, think them glasses were— I'm sorry, please excuse my folly, God. I'm sorry, but I'm just telling you the truth, right? Listen, I got in the car, pulled my money out, pulled my receipt, and saw that I had gotten way too much money back. The enemy saying, boy, you just got blessed, take that money and receive your blessing. But in reality, that was Walmart's money. And Holy Spirit said in a gentle voice, he said, return it, because that woman could get in trouble. It's not a blessing. It may be a blessing to you now, but she may get fired for a register being that short. Go back in. It's the right thing to do. Take the money back. I took the money back. I turned it in to customer service. Said the lady made a mistake. She thought I gave her a $50. I'm bringing this money back. They replaced the money. They thanked me, and I went about my business. I got a breakthrough then, because there will be— there have been days I have believed that if I found stuff, it was mine and it was a blessing from God, and it was not. It was not. It belonged to someone else. I remember another time after that, I found a wallet in a theater. Uh, we was on a trip in Florida. I was in the theater, the wallet was on the floor. God knows we're on vacation. I'm like, man, this money comes in, we can do a lot more stuff we want to do with this money. And, uh, let's just get the cash, Mike, and turn in the wallet. Holy Spirit said, no, leave the cash in. That person needs it. Their idea is to turn the wallet into the theater, have them find this person and make sure they get their wallet back. Person got their wallet back, thank God. But again, you got to do the right thing. See, the church is suffering— watch this— intolerable defeat by the enemy due to a lack of integrity among the body of Christ. And we're not paying attention to the little things. We, we endure in the church way too much spiritual weakness this because people are operating with guilty conscience. Listen, if you feel guilty about that thing, you better not do it. You need to repent and not do it. Glory to God. Thank you, Jesus. I'm closing. This is my last thing, man. I think, I think, I think— God, I'm gonna close. I'm gonna stop right there. Listen, guys, this has been real. It's almost 10 o'clock, right? So I'm gonna stop. Stop. I just heard the Holy Spirit say stop, so I'm gonna stop. I'll continue this tomorrow. Listen, I need you to understand that God, he really— come on, church— he really and truly, listen to me, loves us and he wants us to be offense-free. Let's make sure you're not offending yourself. Can we pray tonight that you'll be honest with yourself, honest with God, honest with yourself, honest with God, and you'll stop offending yourself? Come on, Father, in Jesus' name, let's pray. Thank you for this word tonight. Thank you for whoever it touched. Somebody's been offending themselves. I've I've lived that life, God. Someone's been offending you. I've lived that life. And so, Father, in Jesus' name, if there's anything in us, any behavior, any thoughts, any plans in us that will offend you, I ask you tonight to take those things away. Bring our flesh under subjection. Under the suggestion and the power and the auspices of the Holy Ghost, and we'll give you praise and we'll give you glory and we'll give you honor. Father, we extol and lift up your name, Jesus. Beside you there is no other. I pray for liberty, liberty, Liberty. You said healing and deliverance is the children's bread. Heal tonight, God, in the matchless name of Jesus. And I thank you for the freedom, for he who the Son sets free is free indeed. In Jesus' name, amen and thank God. Listen, thank you guys for listening. Listen, would you join us tonight in giving? Would you sow a seed into ministry? There are several of you watching this live or by replay that can plant a seed tonight of $100. And that's what's in my spirit right now. You know, I heard the Lord say at the beginning of this, and he said it— Lord have mercy— that the next 10 days are going to be filled with supernatural supply. I need you to stop looking at what you need to do in your flesh. Remember, if you can't do it by faith, don't do it. So I need you to give a seed faith offering tonight. Tonight. You can give 3 ways to our church. It's in the actual caption of this video, but I'm going to tell you. You can text the word RADAH, R-A-D-A-H, to the phone number 77977, and you can give your offering that way. You can also give via Cash App. It's simply RADAH Church. Or you can go straight to our website, radachurch.com/donate, and plant your seed that way. But tonight, listen, right now in this moment while you're listening to this, whether you listen live or by replay, you need to get seed in the ground because these next 10 days are gonna blow your mind. See, the reason you give sparingly is because you lack confidence in God's ability to multiply your money. You lack the faith in giving and receiving. Listen, your seed leaves your hand, but it never leaves your life. Again, there are several of you tonight that need to get a $100 seed in the ground. Listen, I trust you're gonna obey God because these next 10 days, supernatural clarity, supernatural supply is gonna knock on your door. When— and by supernatural, that means you ain't gonna have nothing to do with it. God's gonna do it because of your obedience. And I declare, God, as they sow their seeds tonight, that you will multiply it 1,000 times more than it already is. I love you all. Y'all be blessed. Heaven smile upon you is my prayer. Peace. Thank you, Lord.
