And I believe tonight God wants to hear the corporate man. He's worthy to be glorified. He's worthy to be exalted. Just begin to open your mouth and worship him. Hallelujah. If I'm telling you, if he's really good to you like the worship team say, just begin to speak of his goodness. Speak well of him. Come on, fill this room with your voice. Worship also has sound. I'm sorry, you can't worship him silently. We about make a joyful noise. All ye lands, serve the Lord with gladness. Come before his presence with singing. The messengers who bring light to darkness, declaring Christ as our hope and salvation. But how will they believe in the one they do not know? How will they call on him if they have never heard? In distant fields, in crowded streets, there are souls longing, unaware of the hope that is near. But someone must go. A voice must speak. The footprints of the faithful are never forgotten in eternity. They step into the unknown. They walk into places of need. They run toward the broken. They kneel beside the weary. These are not just feet. These are messengers, bringers of peace, carriers of hope. Bearers of light, how beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news. The world is waiting. The Gospel must be heard. Let your feet move. Let your hands give. Let your voice proclaim. Because someone, somewhere is waiting to hear.

Hallelujah! Glory to God! Well, it's the truth. You ought to give God praise. Somebody's waiting to hear it, although we don't do much talking. We're waiting to hear it. Amen. Amen. So tonight I'm going to— let's go to Daniel real quick. Glory to God! So glad to see those of you that came out. God bless you, Apostle. I just noticed that was you. Thank you. For being here. Glory to God. Y'all give our speaker for Sunday night a hand, is in the building. Y'all give God praise. Apostle, are we working? All right, yeah, we in business. God bless you, Apostle, we love you. Thank you for being here. Daniel chapter number— and that's what we're talking about, is on the screen, the stars come out at night. Daniel chapter number 12, we're going to begin reading in verse number 1. Um, Mario, you can go to the next slide because the scripture is there, I think. Yeah. The Bible says, at that time Michael shall stand up, the great prince who stands watch over the sons of your people. And there shall be a time of trouble such as never was since there was a nation, even to that time And at that time your people shall be delivered, everyone who is found written in the book. Verse 2.

And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, some to shame and everlasting contempt.

Next verse, verse 3.

But those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the firmament. And those who turn many to righteousness like the stars.

Somebody say, like the stars. Forever and ever. Tonight, again, just for a few moments, I'm gonna just deliberate this subject. The stars come out at night. Say that with me. Say, the stars Come out at night. And we know, if you've been alive any amount of time, you know that to be true. Amen. You don't see stars in the day. You see a star, you see one, which is the sun. It is actually a star, but it's closest to the Earth and it's the brightest of all stars in the heavens in our hemisphere. And I want to really just make a contrast tonight between what is natural and what is spiritual so that we can really understand what I'm trying to convey here. Um, natural stars are somewhat of a cosmic miracle.

And if you hated science in school, you're gonna hate this part of my message, okay? You're just not gonna like what I'm about to say.

You're probably going to go to sleep or whatever, but I'm going to give you this really quick. If you didn't like science I'm telling you, you're not gonna like this part. Okay, glory to God.

All right, so first of all, stars are massive spheres of burning gas, and they're made of mostly helium and hydrogen. And through a process that is called nuclear fusion— say nuclear fusion. Hydrogen atoms fuse into the helium at the core inside of the star, and it releases tremendous light and heat. I want you to remember that. So the, the helium and the hydrogen inside connect to start a fire. All right, and the light you see from the star is from the fire that is burning within.

Are y'all with me so far?

You know where I'm going, right? Okay, so stars— watch this— don't borrow light. Each individual star has its own fire, has its own source. Watch this, has its own story. As a matter of fact, I just mentioned the sun. And the sun, in comparison to some lower dimensions of stars, has a higher level of helium and hydrogen at its core. The reality is, of the 200 to 400 billion stars in our galaxy alone, you gotta understand that the star generates its power, generates its fire from within. And watch this, they are sustained. Say sustain. As long as the core burns, right? So again, as long as the core of the star is burning, the light never goes out. Okay, I'm going somewhere, just stay with me.

First natural, then spiritual, right? That's the Bible, right?

So even the smallest star watch this outshines darkness in space. Okay, so again, stars are meant to shine at night. When a star comes on, the darkness has to back up. All right, without stars, as small as they are, uh, at nighttime, our Earth would be pitch black.

Are y'all here?

Yes, sir. You will be able to see nothing. But as far away as they are, they still have the ability to give us vision in the night.

All right. Oh boy, that's another message for another day.

Listen, you got to understand, these stars are available to us because God spoke a word. Watch this. He said to the stars, in Genesis, be light by night. He said to the sun, be a light by day. Now watch how powerful God's word is. I've never seen a star for real manage daytime light. When God speaks a thing, it is sustained. So just like the word over your life, whatever God has spoken over your life. All right, that thing shall come to pass. That thing is never going to fade. Here's the problem: we must align ourselves so the word of God can manifest in his life. All right, now, so, so say it again. Say, the stars come out at night. Now, I came up in the '80s where when the hip-hop era was first introduced And there was a group called Houdini. I'm about to date myself. Houdini wrote a song that said the freaks come out at night.

Some of y'all don't remember that, right? Some of y'all too saved and act like you just left heaven to come to church and your chariot is outside waiting to carry you back.

Y'all know who Houdini is, and y'all remember the song. I don't need to recite it. Some of y'all hear the melody in your head now. Now, this message ain't about freaks coming out at night, but interesting enough, at one time, whether you was a freak or a sinner, most of what you did was in darkness.

Are y'all hearing this?

Most of the time in our lifespan, if we were doing something wrong, we slipped in the dark to do it because we didn't want to be seen. Now, Pastor, I don't know about these people of this day, because this day and time people openly do everything. They don't have no shame. But there was a time sin had a shamefulness to it. And we didn't just do things out in the open. We didn't want to get caught. And I grew up in a prophetic church, and I was always scared what I said because I didn't want God to talk to nobody about what I did. We had one of the mothers in our church, she'll stand up and say, hotel, hotel. 2 people hotel, and I'll be in the back going, holla, go shande. I see— don't let her see nothing I did last night. Okay, but just like natural stars, believers are designed to burn with an inner fire. To control the darkness in the world.

Did you hear me? I said control.

The world can't see because there are none of us, enough of us showing up as light. Oh my God, we're not to burn from ourselves. My friend Mario, put this next part up there.

I want them to see this because if you need to write this down, because I want you Remember this, you are in the wrong. God, you in the wrong slide.

That's a message from last week. How do we get that? But it works, but that's, that's last week. There we go. Your gifts and abilities were never meant to confirm your identity. All right, God gave you gifts and abilities to confirm his identity. See, most believers believe that they are alive and whatever God has called them to do is for them. Everybody wants to be popular, everybody wants likes and clicks, everybody— watch this— wants to be a star in the kingdom. But whatever anointing is on your life is on your life to identify him through through you. Okay, okay. Your abilities are not for you. Matter of fact, touch yourself, say, my gifts, my abilities are not for me. They are to confirm who he is in me. Amen. So God didn't call none of us to be stars.

Jesus is the only star.

And if I so have a chance, you get popular, great, use it to his glory. If God gives you a name that everybody knows, use it for his glory. Because so many times people miss the fact that, oh my God, they breathe to bring him glory so that others can look at our life and see him. Go to the next one.

I want to see this one too, and then we're gonna get it finished.

The advance of the kingdom— watch this, this is so good— will always eradicate or eliminate sin, torment—

oh my God—

and infirmity.

Here we go, watch this. Jesus said the kingdom of God is not in enticing words but it is joy, peace, and righteousness in the Holy Ghost. So righteousness deals with the sin part.

We're going to talk about it in a minute. It's hard to be a light if you have behavior problems. If we're the people of God, we need to act like it. God in us suggests that there is pneumatikos, some wind-like behaviors that should flow out of our life. We should act like he would act. So if I'm really advancing the kingdom— a lot of kingdom talk— and I'm advancing the agenda of the King, the dominion of the King, my behavior should line up with him. I should do what pleases him, or really I'm not going to be a good witness.

Are y'all hearing this?

Because the world looks at you and will say, why would I get saved and y'all doing the same thing I'm doing? Now watch this, and in this day and time, you better be very careful what do. Everybody's got a camera, everybody, and they don't mind posting what they see. Just this week we, we've seen several— man, this is prophecy unfolding. I, I prophesy how in the— toward the end of this year, major voices will start being exposed. But watch this, the reality is even this guy that's in the news right now. Is it strengthening our witness when we share it? Well, okay, he's wrong. But at one time, I believe something was right about this man. I believe he was saved at one time. Are y'all hearing this? Obviously me and my wife differ on this, considering the echoing sound that she just made. Even if it— when he was a child, okay, I'm just saying, at some point, all right, I think he started out and got corrupt. Okay, but it doesn't make it better when we share it. I see some other apostles sharing and beating him up. The world already beating him up, but the world is looking at you sharing and you're casting a negative light even though what he did could very well be true. When you share it That is saying, okay, look at how our church looks, okay? Because guess what? He represented our church. He was doing it in our— in the name of God. Are y'all hearing this? And the world is going to look at it like we all on the same team, right? That the world don't care if you're not doing that. The fact that he was professing the name of Jesus Okay, all right. And y'all know I don't mind exposing stuff and saying something God tells me, but I'm just trying to tell you, if we're going to be wise witnesses, you have to be careful what you share. Amen. Uh, sin has to be brought under control.

The word sin, watch this, is harmisia in Greek.

It means to miss the mark.

It means to come short.

So if you're in sin, you're coming short of God's plan, God's design. It's not necessarily adultery, fornication, lying, cheating.

If you ain't walking in purpose, you're in sin.

Well, uh-huh. Yeah, see, we, we like the big But sin is missing the mark. That's the definition of the word. There is all unrighteousness is sin. Well, so if God didn't deem it to be accurate and right, it's sin. Okay, are y'all here? Yes, sir. So I'm gonna advance the kingdom, I got to get myself aligned. So that's a big— that's so important. You got to work on you because you can't really be a faithful witness that people will receive if there's impurity in your life and you ain't trying to control your sinful behavior. Watch this. Torment— that's the peace part, because people are being tormented by demonic forces. So advancing the kingdom means now I can't have mental issues, okay, and stuff wrong with me where I'm unbalanced, taking pills to get up, taking pills to go to bed, and be an effective witness. The gospel will eradicate torment. Peace is the presence of God's assistance, not the absence of confusion. So when peace shows up in your life, it's the presence of God assisting you to be balanced, to not live in torment.

Are y'all here? Yes, sir.

Then it says joy in the Holy Ghost. That's— see, that's the healing part, cuz joy brings healing. When you walk in the joy of the Lord, it heals your body. Watch this. If we're going to teach about miracles and signs and wonders, then we got to believe they work in our life too. You can't convince nobody God's a healer and you don't believe it. Oh God. Because again, God uses these gifts, he uses the anointing on your life to confirm his identity. He did it. So if that's not being confirmed in your life—

okay, all right, I'm gonna go home. Okay, are y'all here for real?

Say, the stars come out at night, they're not seen in the day, they shine bright at night. So let's—

here's the first point, let's go.

This is the mandate of— say, I'm a star. You ain't got to be Denzel or Angela Bassett or Taraji P. Henson. You are a star because you're in God. Say it again. Say, I'm a star. Most time we envy those stars because they're on the TV. People look at them and they envy those people. The reality is a real star drives out darkness. Again, it doesn't matter how famous you are, real star drives out darkness. Darkness. So let's look at the mandate of stars. Say, I'm a star. The mandate is this: we are called to shine. It is our divine assignment. Go to Matthew 5:14 real quick.

It ain't up there, Mario, so don't, don't worry about it. We just gonna go with what the Lord's doing right here. Matthew 5:14. I've read this this month, but it bears reading tonight. If you got to say amen, amen.

Bible says this, it says, you are the light of the world. Point to somebody and say, you You're the light of the world. I've been saying this all month, I'm gonna say it right here. I know that you complain about the problems in the world. If you're not gonna be the solution you were called to be, never complain about what you permit. If you're allowing it, shut up about it. You don't get to complain. You have the solution. That's what this part of the verse says. To darkness. So don't complain about what's going on at 1600 Pennsylvania, downtown at the governor's house, when you got light in you for the cosmos— the world in Greek, the cosmopolitan systems and structures that govern the world. You have the light to influence those systems because you're a star and there's something burning in you. That should be influencing those systems. See, we want to have good church, but after we have good church, we really need to show up in the world and be a light. Matter of fact, church should really be Kingdom University that empowers you to go out of the door and turn on your light. All right, do you know every place you occupy during the day has some darkness in it? Amen. And when you show up, that darkness should come in line to your life. Point in case, came in this building earlier today, it was dark. I turned the lights on. Are y'all hearing this? It was kind of dark when y'all came in. They cut the lights on. Now guess what? Ain't no darkness in here. The lights are on. When you show up in the world light should come on. Are we here? Glory to God. He said, you are the light of the world. A city or a situation that is set on a hill cannot be hid. So when you're really the light, you're going to be seen. Your situation is exposed. So once again, if you got behavior problems. You can't be on that hill. We don't need you on the hill. We need you in the valley, and we need you to get delivered. I heard somebody say, if a person was struggling with lesbianism or homosexuality, would you still let them serve in the church? No, they need deliverance. If a person is a whore monger, will I still let them serve? No, you need deliverance. If you got traits of sin in your life, how can you really effectively serve?

Y'all quiet. Y'all gonna make me think y'all, you know, because y'all ain't—

okay, so I got a divine assignment to be a light. Secondly, this is the second part of mandate. Stars are distinct in their appearance. Prince. So you should look like a star. Uh-oh. So when you walk out of the house, you should walk in the house looking like you've done stole, about to steal something. You should look like you serve a king. You should be clean. You should be well put together, even with whatever you got. I don't know about this generation that just gets up and put on anything. Yeah, they wear a bun at the Walmart, pajamas to Walmart. You gotta look like you're a star.

You should be distinctive from the world.

Watch this, not just in your bed. And somebody said, well, you preaching clothes. No, I'm not. I'm preaching character. That's the character of a star. You should be walking around with Daisy Dukes on with your cheeks hanging out and you saved.

Okay, okay.

And, and yeah, I was in the store, I saw a grown lady with her little daughter. She was dressed up in these tight yoga pants and you can see everything, tight shirt with her belly out. And I looked down at the little girls, little girl, it was dressed just like her Mama, because guess what? She was setting that example. We got to be examples of what kingdom people look like.

Okay, all right, all right, okay.

I get it, you know, clothes don't make you saved, clothes don't make you anointed, but clothes will get you in some rooms.

Y'all ain't got to talk to her.

That you won't get in dressed certain ways. All right, certain people won't receive you in certain attire, and you got to know who you're going to.

Are you hearing me? Glory to God. Amen. Amen. You can go next screen, take that down, Mario. I'm sorry. Yeah, just keep that up.

We good. Verse 15, he says, neither do men light a candle and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick, and giveth it light unto all that are in the house. Verse 16, where I want to get— let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Amen.

So your life is designed to bring glory to So, so you have a divine assignment. I got a divine assignment to be a light. Say, I need a distinct appearance. So, so that means you need to be recognizable and set apart from darkness. If you go outside now, look up, and you— if you can see some stars, they're going to be distinctively different than the dark around about them. You should stand out. That's right. That you may put difference between holy and unholy. Leviticus 10:10. Between clean and unclean. You make that difference. All right. Anything else, like Nadab and Abihu in the text, is strange fire. It's not fire that burns from the Holy Ghost. and that strange fire cannot eradicate darkness.

All right, okay.

Thirdly, third part of the mandate: you are a dedicated ambassador. So our purpose is to point people to Christ, who is the bright and morning star. Are y'all hearing this?

Our purpose is to be a sub-star to the superstar, because Jesus is a superstar.

Revelation 22:16 tells us that he is the bright and morning star. Amen. So our job is to be an ambassador, to represent him, that's right, to get people to him. Again, not to confirm our identity, but to confirm his. So that people will know that he's real. Are y'all getting anything out of this? I'm almost through, believe it or not. Okay, let's go. Secondly, let's look at the moment of stars. So we see the mandate, which is we're called to shine. The moment of stars is the fact that night is when they're needed most.

There's a lot of night in our world right now, y'all. All right, it's a lot of night.

I mean, when you look at—

let's, let's start with infirmity. Over 580,000 humans in America died of cancer cancer-related disease last year. Night. It shouldn't be so when we walk around talking about we got power.

That's, that's a lot of people. Cancer-related, almost 600,000.

700,000 plus died of— oh my God— alcohol-related deaths because they were drinking alcohols in such abundance. Liver disease, strokes.

Almost a million people left the Earth. Darkness. Let's not talk about the sin. Where you got homosexuals who can legally be married, lesbians who can legally in our country be wed. And don't you think they not lobbying to try to pass other stuff? It's just we got a president and a House now that ain't gonna let some of the stuff happening in the next 4 years. Because even though many don't like him, there's a moral compass there, hear me, to ensure that the Bible is upheld in certain areas. Now, he got problems, but he ain't gonna go against scripture.

Y'all ain't got to say nothing.

So, and this is because we pray for him. See, you, you can't say that because you don't pray for him. You talk about him all The Bible said pray for those who are in authority. God hear me when I talk to him. The heart of the king is in the hand of the Lord. So I pray that he can only do what God allows him. Are y'all hearing this? So here we go again. That's dark. Even if it's darkness in the White House, we have the stars that influence the change.

Okay, got real quiet. Start talking about Trump, people just get unsaved.

Listen, we got a duty to pray for the man.

Jesus, glory to God.

You, you did your civic duty, you voted. If the person you voted for didn't win, now you have a responsibility in the kingdom kingdom to pray for those who are in authority. Are y'all here? So stop complaining and pray, cuz he ain't bigger than God. Jesus is the King of Kings.

So night is when the stars are need it. All this cancer.

Why don't we show up at oncology offices with all the power that's in us and just sit in the lobby and pray for people in the oncology office?

You'll make the news real fast cuz you'll get put out of all the offices, but some folk will get healed. You know, signs follow them that believe. But the sign is just following you like, I sure wish you give me an opportunity to work because you never lay hands on the sick. They just sitting there worried about who is this I'm following. Healing is following you. Deliverance is following you. Matthew chapter 10, the Bible says Jesus told the apostles, he said, heal the sick.

Heal the sick, cast out devils, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead. That was the assignment, the 4 things.

So if you really want to be a person that's advancing the kingdom, you are healing the sick, you're raising the dead, you're casting out devils.

Hallelujah! You're cleansing lepers, people that have incurable diseases. Guess what? All of us have have that power in us to do that. The world needs your light. Say it again. Say, I'm a star. Yeah, amen. Even if you never get one of them stars on the walk in Hollywood, you are a star. All the disease, all the poverty, all the broken families, all the immorality, all the injustice— we need a church This is the context of the darkness.

We need a people who will show up in the world and let the world know there's hope.

Because every day, guess what, the world grows darker, it grows colder, and it's even more chaotic. Every single day it gets more chaotic, but we're the solution. Are y'all here? Amen. We gotta rise in dark times. There's a call for demonstration. People need to see our God work.

I told y'all before, you should be in Walmart looking for clues. With all that prophetic prowess, you ought to be walking through Walmart trying to hear from God who you need to prophesy to.

Cuz guess what? Prophecy will work real good on somebody that ain't saved. I done did this so many times.

If God give you a word in it— cuz here's what we want to do, we want our star to shine in here so people can see how powerfully prophetic we are, how anointed we are.

This is not where it should be shining.

Works in the church, it's good, it edifies us, it cause—

it helps us grow and cast us into the future now, but it's not to stay here. It's work to be done. I'm gonna quit and we're going to talk about the text we read in Daniel real fast, but here's the third thing I want to give you tonight.

So say 'the mandate of the stars.' Say I'm called to shine. Say the moment of the stars—say I need it in the night. Say the world needs my spice, my anointing, my fire, my life.

So the world needs me. All right, here's this last thing I want to discuss tonight. The the ministry of the stars. What do we actually do? Go to Matthew 2 and verse 9. I pray y'all getting something about this for real. Yes, sir. I know I'm not crawling the walls and hollering, but I want you to get this.

Amen.

We're gonna see the first thing stars do right here.

When they heard— when they had heard the king, they departed. And lo, the star which they saw in the east went before them till it came and stood over where the young child was. And when they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy. So the first thing stars do is shine for direction. So we should be a compass and direction for the world. Notice these kings were looking for Jesus. This is Christmas, right? They're looking for the newborn babe. The star is what got them to him. That, that dynamic doesn't change with you and I in the world. There are some people, there are some kings of the earth, some people in the world that are looking for Jesus. They just ain't saw the right star to find him.

Oh my.

And that's why you can't afford on no day to take a day off and turn your star off. All right. Some people just wake up, I don't feel like it today, my star is off today. I can tell by some of the stuff people post, I'm like, well, they guess they just don't love love the Lord today. But the reality is, your star should be on every day because you don't know who's looking for him. And you got to be in position so they can look to your star and find him. Glory to God. Go, go to 1 Corinthians 15:41. Hallelujah to Jesus.

My God, tonight, watch this.

The Bible said there is one glory of the sun and another glory of the moon and another glory of the stars, for one star differs from the other and another star in glory. Dead.

Watch this. We shine for distinction. Every person in this room has a uniqueness, an authenticity about them.

There's a purpose in you that is unique to you. You came to this planet with that purpose. I always talk about Evangelist Smith, who's not here tonight. His wife is here, Prophetess Greta. But the reality is there are people that he and everybody else can, can win to God that I'll never win, because there are things he has gone through that I didn't go through, and his witness is more effective than mine in that area. So you shine for distinction. That's why you should never— distinction in this regard means you should never be ashamed of what God brought you out of. People need to hear your testimony. Are y'all here? The Bible said they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb. So that's the work of the cross. But then they also overcome by the word of your testimony. Testimony is a monologue about the test. So if you ain't still doing it it. Okay, you ought to be all right talking about it. I can stand flat-footed and say I used to be a hoe, but God delivered me. Y'all ain't got to talk to me. I— so I can talk to some hoes and tell them, you ain't got to be like that.

Look at me, God has changed me. Glory to God.

Okay, y'all don't like that kind of talk, but, but that's what people need to not you deep and wonderful now and floating. Sinners ain't impressed by that, how you squint your eyes and look deep and can't hardly talk to them. No, Paul said, when to win the Jews, I became as the Jews. So your testimony has to be sure.

Watch this.

If you was a clubber and went to the club, if you really saved, you ought to be able to go in the club still and pull some folks out. Out. No, you don't— went too far, Pastor. We ain't going in the club. But if you really saved, ain't nothing in there you want.

But for somebody to get—

you'll start showing up at the club. Are y'all hearing this? And you're witnessing the people in the environment God brought you out of. God said, go into all the world and preach the gospel. I think the club is in the world. Okay, all right. Yeah, y'all, after this meeting, y'all gonna be surprised some of the outreaches I got planned for you. Glory to God. I was talking to one of the TI people in the store today. I said, look, I need him to get on the same page with me, so tell him I said we got to get on the same page because I'm gonna rent out one of the clubs in Atlanta. Okay, I want him to get on stage and do what he do. I'm gonna get up behind him after he do it and talk for 20 minutes about Jesus and my testimony, and I'm gonna have an altar call in the club. And guess what? I'm gonna take our whole leadership team in the club, so y'all need to be in there prophesying and witnessing and laying hands. And I'm telling you, before we leave, it's gonna folk laid out in the club. See, y'all impressed when folk lay out in the church. I want to go up in the club. I don't care where it is, we go up in Magic City and snatch them off the pole. Oh, y'all ain't got the job, but you got to be saved. You can't be in there looking, talking about where my dollar. No, you need to be saved, Pastor. You get my—

make sure you good and saved when we go up in I'm good.

Glory to Jesus.

I'm telling you, but this is what— this is the call that we have on our life as stars. Amen. Because if they not coming in here, we got to go get them. I told y'all before, most of what people are calling church growth is membership transfer. All right, it ain't church growth, it's people leaving another church going to somewhere somewhere else. They leave New Birth, go to Word of Faith, the Dale brothers. Get tired of Dale brothers, they go somewhere else, and they just keep circling. These same group of folks have been a member of all these mega churches. Tell you how I know, because the numbers don't lie. We got 7.4 million people in Atlanta. Less than 8% are born again and Spirit-filled. So you telling me if less than 700,000 people in this Metroplex are saved, all those people ain't adding new people to the church such as should be saved. And I told God, I say, in this my 8th church plant, I want to make sure this church is not a church that grows by membership transfer. And I told God, give me wise strategies to bring people into the kingdom. So that means we got to go into schools, and we're going to adopt schools in this area. We're going to go into clubs We're going to go into the community and not just feed people but preach the gospel to them. Because guess what? You can feed people and they still won't get saved. You can have all the programs, give them clothes, give them food, they can line up, you throw all the stuff in their trunk, and they won't ever even come to church. They'll come every week to get the food though, but they need power. The Bible said, I'm not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ, for it is the power of God. I'm talking about the gospel alone, with no chicken, no bread, no cheese.

It's the gospel.

That's the power. That's why I'm gonna buy me a tent. I'm gonna buy before the year is out, and I'm telling you, and I'm gonna put it up one time before this year is out, and next summer it's gonna be up all over this city. I'm gonna have tent revivals, and we gonna cast out devils in mall parking lots. And in projects and in areas where people will not go. And you know what we're gonna do?

We're just gonna preach the gospel.

Lord have mercy, I wish I had somebody that was excited about that.

I dare you to just touch yourself and say, God has called me to shine.

I got to get out of here.

Glory to God. We give you grace. So, so, so we shine for direction, we shine We shine for distinction. But watch this, here's the catcher, and then I'm gonna go to the text and we're gonna get out of here. We shine for duration. Again, we don't just turn this thing on and turn it off. We got to create a legacy for the church. We got to create a model that people will want to embrace. I'm telling you, the church has gotten lazy, Apostle. We come to church, we have good church, we worship, we have all these praise breaks. Listen, God have mercy if we have another praise break. Listen, because some of that dancing, folks don't even know what they're dancing about. Worshiping and crying, don't know why you worshiping and crying. Reality is, if Christ really was the priority, you would share it. That's right. Amen. Amen. If you really loved him like we cry about The folk at your job would know you saved. Some of y'all, the folk at your job don't even know you saved. Maybe not here, don't watch it. Glory to God. Listen, they don't even know. You call the job, say, Deacon such and so, Deacon? He ain't no Deacon. Like, what? You call him a Deacon? He cussing with us. But do you love God like you act in church? Are y'all hearing this? Them folk at work will know this is a man of God, this is a woman of God, and they'll have honor and respect for who you are. Because you gotta— oh my God, you gotta shine for duration. You gotta want— you gotta— we gotta set a standard so that those come— that come behind us Yeah, that's, that's in my age and stage.

I've been preaching full-time for 36 years, man, and I'm at this place where I live in 3 different dimensions. I live, number 1, on purpose. I'm not doing it if it ain't purpose.

If it's not connected to God's purpose, Apostle, I ain't doing it, because I want to be found fulfilling his will for my life. Secondly, I live according to destiny, what God has planned, his optimal reality for my future. So from where I stand, I look to where he has provided for me to go. I don't want to go nowhere else but what I see. I don't want another man's dream. I want what God has prepared for me. But thirdly, I live for legacy, not only for my own children. I was just talking to one of my sons today. About legacy and about positioning himself to make sure that as my oldest child, he don't miss legacy. Are y'all hearing this? Because legacy is what we leave behind. So not only do I want to leave things to my natural— because a good man leaves an inheritance to his children's children— but I also want to leave a legacy in the kingdom so that people can carry the models that I have erected as an apostle, that they can imitate them and create results. Are y'all hearing this? We must concentrate on being models that can be imitated, because watch this, a lot of times we have built on bad theology from the past.

All right.

Oh boy, we've been building on stuff that was erroneous. Is.

Oh God, I'm— okay, can I touch it? Yeah, Lord say yeah, touch it.

Because a lot of our ministries are rooted in what we saw our predecessors do. A lot of the style of preaching, a lot of the way people preach, a lot of the things people do, they do it mainly because they learned it from someone that— watch this— learned it many times in error. Because if you set a standard— so a standard 2x4 is 8 feet long, and if you gotta cut 10 2x4s, it's 8 feet, you don't have a perfect alignment of what you're trying to lay or what you're trying to build. But if you cut one 9 feet 8 feet, and then you cut another one 8 feet, another one 10 feet, and then you keep going and changing the pattern, you got an inconsistency in the bill. It's not going to be a perfect bill because a 2x4 is 8 feet long. You can't make it what you want it to be.

Many times we have built according to patterns that were religious, not necessarily tapped into the realm of the spirit, and a pattern like Paul told the Corinthians of things in heaven.

So we ought to be building according to heaven. I love my predecessors, I love my spiritual father, but At the end of the day, I love my natural daddy who's a great prophet, but there are some things I learned that was not according to the pattern. All right, it was things that he was taught and that's what he knew. Are y'all hearing it? But when you know better, you do better. When you spend time with God— see, this is where it comes— you spend enough time with God, he'll start revealing you his plumb line, his standard of doing things. And again, a lot of bad theology is in the church today. Okay, the Bible said many will depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils.

Okay, so seducing spirits, we have to be careful of because seducers pull you into themselves.

It's a lot of that in the church. A seducer is going to pull you into their thought process, their ideology, their theology. A conducer preaches, teaches, pulls you through themselves to God. A star is a conducer. You should be a conducer, and that's what God has called the church to be, not seducers pulling people into our here, how we think it should be done. No, what did God say?

Cuz he's real for real, right?

So I ought to have a relationship with him as a man of God, that God can speak his will concerning his word, concerning what he's called me to do, so that I never can build according to— I build according to a—

I don't want to use that word.

Yeah, an ignorant pattern. Because ignorance many times is to ignore knowledge. It's not a bad word. Knowledge can be presented and you ignore it because you're comfortable singing two hymns, having the choir do an A and B. I'm just saying, I mean, nothing wrong with that if people— if God is telling them to do that. But at the end of the day, some people are doing that because the other place down the street did it, or the place they came out of did it.

Are y'all hearing me?

Okay, I'm almost done. No worries, just stay with me. Say, I'm distinct. Say, I'm different. Say, I'm a child of God. Say, I'm here to endure. Across ages. Say, I'm a true witness that will leave a legacy. All right, now let's go back to Daniel right quick, and we're gonna close because I see some of y'all just— yeah, okay, well, you don't talk about my spiritual parents.

I'm not talking about them. They just were telling you— I talked about mine. I'm just telling you what they gave you, what they knew.

And many a It was not all the way right.

My—

you know, I grew up in a church where they preached against makeup and earrings, and the ladies had to wear dresses. I understood the premise, but it didn't matter if you had a dress down to the ankle and your heart weren't right. It's just as much hell on the long dress as it is a short dress.

It just take the one with the long dress a little longer to pull it up.

If she ain't saved.

Are y'all here? So I'm just saying, people— and, and in that circle, everybody was preaching that kind of hardcore holiness. And I had— I would hear preachers preach about TV, go over to their house because they're my daddy friend and they got TV at their house. I'm like, now this dude— as a teenager, I ain't say dude, I said that other word— hey, but I said, this dude right here The sit-up and told us not to go to the movies, not to watch TV, and he got a TV, big old TV in here with all these VCR tapes stacked up to the floor, man.

Bye!

Oh yeah, come on, man. See, all I'm saying is some of the stuff was crazy, right? You know, I heard one man talking about Men shouldn't wear neckties, it's of the devil, it's making the women lust. What you talking about? I got home, I said, Dad, what was he talking about?

He said, son, don't worry about that. He said he just was looking for something else to get on folk about. I said, but what was he trying to say?

He said the point on the bottom of the tie, what does it point to? I'm like, how sick is your mind? That you don't sit up and look at a tie. Are y'all hearing this? I created a crazy doctrine. Yeah, Pastor, you wouldn't make it with that tie on tonight. But, but it's sad that they didn't study enough about Jezebel and size Jezebel up with red fingernails and red lipstick. Jezebel is manipulation and control. It's the spirit of witchcraft. Has nothing to do with how— what color your fingernails is. I'm just trying to show you, we don't—

we don't build legacy on error. That's right.

As stars, we got to build it on truth, his word. Remember I said in the beginning, God spoke in the beginning?

Y'all stars light at night.

Son, you light in the day.

The sun always come out in the daytime.

When you get up in the morning, them stars gonna back up.

Guess what they doing? They're obeying the word, because his word shall stand forever. I got to get out of here. Glory to God.

Daniel.

So he says, and this is a very eschatological embracing passage. It speaks of the end time. He said he's talking about the Great Tribulation specifically in the first two verses.

He says, and at that time Michael shall stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people.

Now Michael is the archangel, and but the word Michael means who is like the Lord. I know that because that's my name.

Glory to God.

I'm only like the Lord because of his blood, because he saved me.

So everybody in this room, even if your name is not Michael, you can be like the Lord. Touch yourself, say, I can be like the Lord. I need you to believe that you, you are created in his image and likeness, and as a star, you got to show up in the world like the Lord. Glory to God. Not like you, all right? Not like me. Because guess what we'll do? We'll try to duplicate people. We'll try to imitate people. And the best person you can ever imitate is God. You got to decide, I want to be just like him. Who is like the Lord? He stood up for the children.

He— watch this— he's the prince of the—

for the children of thy people, which literally means he's the intercessor between the people and the king. So watch this: you are the people that God has placed in the world as an intercessor between the world and him. You are a bridge between God and humans.

Are we here?

Say, I'm the bridge. But watch this, he says, and there shall be a time of trouble such as never since there was a nation. Again, he's talking about the tribulation period. He says, to that same time, and then at that time, the people shall be delivered, everyone that shall be found written in the book.

This is important because even before the day of tribulation, people are going to endure tribulation. Future, they're going to go through trials.

We house the answer to their trouble.

When I was growing up, they used to sing a song: Jesus is the answer for the world today. Above him there is no other. Jesus is the only way.

Can I tell you something? You got him in you. Now you got to show up and let people know that no matter what trouble they're facing, he's the answer. Can you say that? When we say Jesus is the answer, he says, and many of them that sleep, that are dead in the dust of the earth, shall awake, some to everlasting life and some to everlasting contempt. Here's the act. Watch this.

Somebody's on their way to hell and you can stop them.

Matter of fact, can I commit to you that there are people assigned to your star. They're assigned to your light. And the only way that they'll miss contempt is that you show up and stop them from going to hell. Because watch this, contrary to popular belief, there is a hell. Because there's a doctrine out here now saying there is no hell. But I'm telling you right now, hell is real, and hell is no place to get right. Glory to God. After you go to hell, it's over. You can't be saved in hell. And there are people who are listening to me tonight live and in this room, you have the remedy inside of you for sin. You have the remedy for damnation and shame. And people need what's on the inside of you. I gotta go. Verse 3, he says, and they that be wise— say wise— shall shine as the brightness of the firmament. That's the stars. So if you're really wise, if you really got hakma in Hebrew, if you, if you understand that the knowledge that God has given you, glory to God, about him, and you properly use that knowledge— that's, that's being wise, properly using the knowledge God has given you about him. When you use that knowledge properly, you're going to shine as the stars in the firmament in the midst of a dark world. Unwise people don't shine.

Unwise people worry about themselves and themselves alone. Unwise people have not prioritized that the world needs the light that's in them. He says, and they that turn many to righteousness.

This is good. So you turn many to righteousness, not that prophesy to many in church.

Are y'all here?

Not that preach a lot of sermons to the folk that's already saved. We need this so that we can be empowered. But the reality is, them that turn many to righteousness, to get them out of their sinful cycle, he said they shall shine as the stars forever and ever. Which means when you start winning souls, there's a fire in you that never never goes out. Ezekiel said it like this, he said, there's a fire shut up in my bones and it won't go out. See, when you start really burning for God, it's not going to lead you to people that's also burning. It's going to lead you to people that need to experience the burn that's on the inside. We get together just to make a big fire so that we all burning when we leave, but we ought to be concentrating on the people we're called to.

You know what happens when we do this? The church really will grow for real. The Bible said God adds to the church daily such as would be saved.

So every day we're burning in darkness Daily people would be getting born again and the church would be added with new converts instead of membership transfer. Wow. Because I get it, people leave churches because, okay, well, I found something new, this is good, this is better than what I had over there. I get it. But once you realize that what's in you is needed in the world.

That should be your priority, your concentration.

You coming to get filled up where you go out of here and start a fire.

Churches grow 3 ways when the people are really burning. Number 1, it grows numerically. We get more numbers. We don't have enough room. I've watched several churches grow grow and grow.

When you start doing this, churches will grow.

You become a star. Secondly, if it grows numerically, it also grows financially. Now you have more resources to do the things that you're called to do as a church. And thirdly, it grows spiritually because the people who are burning shows up in the world, and they're growing spiritually because they're constantly ministering and doing the things of God. Stars come out at night, y'all.

How do we handle that?

God is calling us to responsible Christianity and practical holiness. Responsible Christianity means that that I don't just come to church, go home, come to church, go home, never share my experience. A responsible child of God is going to burn for others. Everybody stand up. Done. You play softly, Pastor. Hallelujah. That went nothing like I thought it was going to go. I don't know, but I taught it the way the Lord said to do it. Glory to God. Put your hand in your belly. Hallelujah. Just rub it. Say, inside of me is a great fire that burns from the Holy Spirit. Say, in the name of Jesus, This power, this fire that's in me. Say, I acknowledge. Three words. It's for someone else. It's for the darkness that's in this world.

Say, in the name of Jesus. Say, I decree and declare I will burn like never before. Say, Lord, I declare tonight I have the wisdom to turn many to righteousness. And because of this, and because of my life, many will be saved, many will discover you. But I am a star and I will shine in the darkness of this world.

In Jesus' name. Now I just want you to praise God right there if you believe that. Come on, if you believe it, praise God. Come on, give God glory if you believe it. Come on, praise God.

Hallelujah, hallelujah!

Come on, for about 60 seconds, clap those hands and give God your best praise, because I believe God is stirring something in you tonight. Come on. Yes, God, come on, clap those hands and bless God for the gifts. Listen, you are anointed, Esther, for such a time as this. Come on, give God praise and glory. Oh God, we bless you, we honor you. Come on, open your mouth and let the fire burn. Let it burn. Come on, come on, open your mouth.

God, burn in us.

May we be stars that shine at night. Hallelujah. Hallelujah! Give you glory. We bless you, God. Thank you that our world will be different because we are in it. We will show up and be the direction. That people need to discover you. I thank you, God, in advance for what you're going to do this weekend. Thank you for souls. Thank you for breakthrough. Thank you for deliverance. Thank you for the education that we need to show up in the the world. We bless you for it, Lord, in Jesus' name. Hallelujah. Listen, if you got real quick tonight any sickness in your body—

as a matter of fact, I, I have one thing in particular I want to—

yeah, I see that. I see those things, Father. If you're having tormenting headaches, but you just can't shake migraines. And these headaches are tormenting. You have to take things for them. God wants to deliver you from torment tonight. Hallelujah! I'm not going to even ask you to come up here, but the power of God is in this room to heal. I just want you to put your hand in your belly. Kabba, if you're in this room, you got pain in your body that you've been praying to go away. Maybe it's from an accident and you got pain from a past accident. There's some people in this room that just got pain that have happened through working hard and just pain that's in your body and you want to get that pain off of you. Tonight God wants to make you whole. He wants to give you peace in your body. I want you to put your hand in your belly just as a point of agreement.

Listen, if there's someone in this room that's going through mental torment, God wants to relieve you.

He wants to give you peace in your mind. He wants to give you peace in your mind. Put your hand in your belly. Just as a point of contact. Yeah, I hear that, God. And finally, if you're in here and you got any kind of disease that's been diagnosed that's connected to your blood— high blood pressure, heart disease, anything anything connected to your cardiovascular, any blood situation, I want you to put your hand in your belly. Now, while your hand is your belly, because we're coming into agreement tonight, if you have a prayer language, I want you to begin to pray in the spirit. Some of you still You got pain from accidents in the past and pain in your body and tormenting headaches, but God is here to heal you. Come on, begin to pray in the spirit tonight. Some of you got pain in your body that you seemingly cannot shake. While you're praying in the spirit, the Bible said we lay hands on the sick and they shall recover.

The point of contact tonight, as Pastor Jeffrey is playing, I'm going to lay my hands on him.

He has pain in his shoulder that he's had to go to the doctor for, that just showed up this week.

But in about 60 seconds, I'm gonna put my hands on his head and fire is going to begin to flow through your body, and God's going to make you whole tonight. As I'm praying and as you're praying in the spirit, Jehovah Rapha, the Lord our healer, is going to heal your body. He's going to remove the torment. He's going to remove the pain. He's going to make you whole. I need you to believe it right now. God loves you enough to heal you so he can give you a testimony to others that need his healing power. God's going to give it to you.
