The Story of A King, Part 4, "Born to Reveal" | Dr. Mike Woods, Sr. | 12 Dec 24

In this livestream, Dr. Michael Lyris Woods leads an hour‑long prayer session focused on financial breakthrough, healing, and spiritual prosperity, invoking scriptural decrees from 3 John, Zechariah 1:17, 1 Samuel 30, and Isaiah 61:7. He interweaves personal testimonies, prayer requests, and exhortations to pray in tongues. After prayer, Woods transitions to a teaching segment titled “Born to Reveal,” where he explains that Christ’s birth was intended to reveal God’s identity and each believer’s unique assignment. He emphasizes the trichotomous nature of humanity (body, soul, spirit), the need for authentic, revelation‑driven worship, and the importance of discovering and fulfilling one’s God‑given assignment (problem, people, place, particulars, provision). He calls listeners to sacrificial giving (the “seed” principle), promotes upcoming events (New Year’s Eve celebration and a multi‑day revival series), and repeatedly urges active participation, prayer, and alignment with God’s kingdom purpose. The tone is fervent, charismatic, and persuasive, with a consistently enthusiastic and hopeful sentiment toward breakthrough and spiritual awakening.

What about now? Can you hear me? Can you hear me? Can you hear me now? You guys type in the comments, let me know if you can hear or not. On my end, it's showing that the audio is actually streaming perfectly. You guys let me know if you can hear. Can you hear now? Is that a yes, sir? Okay, all right. Well, praise God. Well, praise be to Jesus. You can hear me now. Thank the Lord. Thank you, Jesus. You bless him. Glory to God. Well, once again, since nothing I said was heard before, welcome to our hour of prayer. Praise the name of God. Hallelujah. Oh, thank you everyone. Yeah, we were having some technical difficulties before, but welcome to our hour of prayer. We're going to pray, and then immediately after prayer at 8 o'clock, we're going to jump right into the word. You don't want to miss this word tonight. It's gonna be phenomenal. But I have some things on my heart, glory to God, that I really, uh, want to bombard heaven about. And I'm believing God, glory to God, for a tremendous breakthrough for every person that's on tonight. Uh, I believe that God is going to meet us in a very tremendous way tonight in prayer. Glory to God. So I want you to tarry with me. Uh, don't make me feel like Jesus tonight when he asked the disciples, could you not pray with me, uh, for just one hour? Praise God. And then after we pray, I'm gonna come live. I'm in my studio and, um, we're gonna teach and y'all, you'll be able to see me, uh, but we're gonna pray because this is not about me, so I don't need to be on camera. Glory to God. Uh, We're gonna— I want to make sure there are no distractions, uh, so we're going to talk to God. Uh, I believe that something is happening for God's people. Hear me tonight, um, where God is interested for real in bringing breakthrough in our finances. And I just really felt this heavy last week as I was praying. Um, and I've been praying about this all week for you and for God's people, because here, listen to me guys, I pray you still can hear. Um, prosperity, listen to this, is not measured only by how much money you have. Listen to me, 3 John says this, 3 John 1 and 2, and this is what we're going to pray around tonight. This will be our decrees tonight. It says, beloved, I wish above all things— listen— that thou mayest prosper. Hear me, guys, and be in health even as your soul prospereth. So God's desire above all things things. It's not only that we prosper in material good, riches and wealth and health, but he also wants our soul, our mind, our will, our emotions, our psuke life, our psychological existence, which is really the place where we make decisions. He wants that area to prosper and expand as well. And I believe when the church, uh, becomes a— here it is, listen to me guys— a thinking church. Listen to me, please hear me tonight. A thinking church where we don't just jump, shout, speak in tongues, speak, blow bubbles, but we do understand that we are trichotomy. We're body, we're soul, and we're spirit. So our spirit is our zoe life, and in this this realm of Zoe, God wants to influence the soul. Hear me, guys, he wants to influence the soul in a tremendous way so that you and I— hear me, guys— can prosper in every area of life. Because again, this is where our intellect, our passions, our desires, our will, our emotions lie in the soul. So while we're growing and developing spiritually, we need to also be evolving and matriculating in our soul-ical man, so that when our flesh is challenged, the soul, the inner man, and the innermost man, which is the spirit, has the strength to defeat what is coming. So we have to prosper in all areas— in our soul, in our spirit— and ultimately, if we do that, we prosper in our body, which is our humanity our bios being, which is our biology or our human existence, which is where money and finances— hear me, family— where they actually lie. Okay, so let's pray tonight, guys, that God would break financial drought. Tonight we're going to make some declarations for success for money, for real estate, and for the well-being of the believer. And, and this is according to Zechariah 1:17. Matter of fact, let me just go there and read, uh, Zechariah 1:17. We got time tonight. Glory to God, we're praying. Praise God. If you're just joining us, glory to God, this is our time of prayer. Praise God. I dare you stay with You know, the enemy understands something really, that the church hates prayer. As a matter of fact, the smallest attended meetings in church are prayer meetings, and prayer is the single most important thing that a believer should do. Matter of fact, prayer— hear me— is your earthly license. Listen, family, for heavenly interference. Glory to God. Oh God, I love you, Bruce. I see your prayer request. Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah. We'll be praying for your grandson. Yes, God, I feel that, that God would touch and heal. Anybody else got prayer requests like Bruce? Uh, type it in the comments. We want to pray for you tonight. So even as we're praying, we're We're praying, God, even now for Bruce Pollard's grandson who is in the intensive care unit. Hallelujah! We're praying, God, hallelujah, for breakthrough and victory in the life of Bruce's son. And we decree and declare his grandson that with your stripes he is healed, in the name of Jesus. And we decree and declare that angels who are ministering spirits would go to that hospital and enforce the covenant of the word of the living God. And we decree and declare, God, that that young grandson, that son, is being healed now in the name of Jesus. That healing Jehovah Rapha is superimposing himself upon this baby now in the name that is above every name, the name of Jesus. We declare it to be so. We declare it to be so in Jesus' mighty name. Glory to God. Anybody else that have prayer requests, please post them in the comments and we'll be glad to pray for you as we pray tonight during this hour of prayer. Praise God. Hallelujah. So, uh, Zechariah 1:17. And again, hallelujah, 3 John and Zechariah 1:17. This is the substratum of the foundation of our time of prayer on tonight. Glory to God. We love you and we adore you. Hallelujah. We bless you, Father. We give you praise. Beside you there is no other. Glory to God. Glory to God. Hallelujah. Zechariah 1:17, you'll find these words. It says, cry yet, saying, thus said the Lord of hosts, my cities through prosperity— listen to this— shall yet be spread abroad. Again, prosperity there in Hebrew is tov. It's the Hebrew word, and this word literally means through, uh, profitable, good, pleasant, agreeable lives, excellent lives, valuable lives, rich lives. Glory to God, that align themselves with joy and happiness in God. So the Bible says here, my cities through prosperity shall yet be spread abroad, and the Lord shall yet comfort Zion. And shall yet choose— hear this, guys— Jerusalem. My God, tonight with God from Zion. So just touch yourself, say, I'm chosen by God. Hallelujah. And my city, or my situation— say that, say my situation— glory to God, shall be spread because of prosperity. Glory to God. Let's pray tonight. So Father, by the authority— glory to God— given to me by the risen Lord, I rebuke the devourer that has walked through our land of prosperity, and I command tonight immediate recovery— thank you, Jesus— of our stolen goods by the superior blood of Jesus Christ. And according to 1 Samuel 30:8, Father, tonight I decree cleansing of my land, of the people under the sound of my voice. I decree cleansing of their land. Glory to God. Oh, hallelujah! I declare their land is being cleansed and their households, our Souls are being cleansed by the blood of Jesus, and I declare that our land is fruitful and our land is flowing with milk and honey. God, I decree and declare as we lift up counter petitions tonight against every strange voice— glory to God— that makes demands on our dividends, and we command a permanent halt. To these word curses. We demand a— oh, she can't— we demand a permanent halt. Glory to God, glory to God! To these voices that speak against our forward movement, that speak against our prosperity, that speak against our healing, these voices that speak against our victory and our breakthrough. Dear God, tonight, in the name of Jesus, Lebe Sumuku Soto Rababaya. Oh God, we come against every voice and every word curse. And Father, tonight, oh God, we declare that our womb is fruitful, and we declare We declare God from a throne room perspective. We demand permanent closure to all forms of vain labor. Father, yeah, you said whatsoever we loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven, and whatsoever we bind on earth will be bound in heaven. So Father, tonight, in the name of Jesus, we bind— yes, God— We bind vain labor, false labor, work that is not aligned with your plan, things that you did not ordain for our life. We bind that up now by the blood of Jesus. We— oh man, yeah, we claim a permanent closure to this vain labor. Oh, this vain labor, we claim permanent closure to financial desecrations and setbacks. And by the warrant of the blood of Jesus, Father, tonight I command the arrest— glory to God, glory to God— of every disembodied spirit. Glory. Setsbacks in our life, that causes hindrance in our life, every spirit, God, that's not like you. Father, I decree and declare tonight that every spirit be bound, every setback be broken. And in the name of Jesus, Oramamande Oso, I declare that by your stripes tonight, God, we are healed. By your stripes, our finances are By your stripes, God. No weapon formed against our property, no weapon formed against our money, no weapon formed against our homes, no weapon formed against us, Father, will be able to prosper. We declare tonight in the name of Jesus that we win. And that we're blessed in the city, God. Hallelujah! We're blessed in the field. Thank you, Lord. We're blessed when we come. Thank you, Jesus. We're blessed when we go home, God. We're the head and not the tail. We are lenders. Thank you, Father, and not borrowers. We are above and not beneath, God. Blessed be the name of Jesus. God, we love you. God, we praise you. God, we bless you. God, we honor you. God, we lift your name on high. Bless the high name of Jesus, who's worthy of praise, who's worthy of glory. Yes, God. Yes, God, we bless you. Yes, God, we honor you. And Father, we break it now. In the name of Jesus. And God, every disembodied spirit, God, we command an arrest tonight of every disembodied spirit, every demonic force. Glory to God. Oh, that has been assigned to rob us of our treasure and our fortune. Father, we confront tonight and break the power of any entity mandated by ancestral demons to deny us of our financial liberty. Father, we declare tonight in the name of Jesus that he whom the Son sets free, yes God, is free indeed. And we declare, God, that we're free. Yeah, even in the area of our finances, God, we have liberty, we have freedom, God. And every person that is— by this life, God, that will come in, I declare, God, every demonic force assigned to their finances, every demon assigned to their life to try to stop and break, God, what you have prepared, what you have ordained. God, tonight, in the name of Jesus, I decree and declare— we have victory in Jesus' mighty name. Oh my God, by the power of the blood of Jesus. Father, tonight I confront and I break the power of any naysayer and false voice that's among us that wars against our progress. We cancel the assignment of the Confederacy of Hell. And we decree and declare tonight, God, we are victorious in the name of Jesus. Oh, Shiva, I deploy tonight lightning and thundering to scatter wicked personalities with or without bodies. Yes, God, in the name of Jesus, who conspire to steal from us, who conspire to take from us what belongs to us in the mighty name of Jesus. And God, we recover all our— oh boy, here we go— we recover all of our goods tonight from satanic banks and demonic infrastructures. Yeah, yes, God. We give you glory. Lord, you're good. God, you're mighty. Somebody ought to bless the Lord tonight. Breakthrough is happening. I feel it in the spirit. Hallelujah. The assignment of the enemy against your finances tonight is being canceled. Y'all didn't hear me. I said the assignment of the enemy against your finances is being canceled tonight in the matchless name of Jesus. We declare it now. And Father, we thank you that we recover all. We recover all. According to your word. All of our stolen goods, otemamamandianda, from these satanic banks and umansiata babaya, umuku, and treasure houses. We break emansa, their hold, in the name of Jesus and by the power of the blood of Jesus. Yes, God, today And by the power of the blood of Jesus, oh Father, oh God, I break all mediums and powers that are employed through warlockery and witchcraft to hold us bound and under financial subjugation. Father, I command an end to every spell and every bewitchment and every— oh my God— every demonic force designed to siphon our finances and our resources. I declare tonight And all satanic sieges over our finances are broken. And Father, I stand in dominion and authority tonight under the auspices of the blood of Jesus to recover our fortune. Somebody, somebody ought to just shout recovery! I declare it even as we're praying tonight. You're recovering, you're recovering, you're recovering. Your money's being restored. Breakthrough is coming to your life. You are recovering in the mighty name of Jesus. Lord, help us tonight. Help us tonight. Help us tonight. Divine to recover all. I just keep hearing that. Yeah, that you're going to without fail. I hear what God said to David in 1 Samuel 30. I hear him saying it to us us tonight. Without fail, without fail, without fail, you're going to recover all. The struggle is over. I need you to grab this revelation tonight. The struggle is over. The name of Jesus, the struggle is over. Friends, full recovery, full recovery, supernatural breakthrough in the name of Jesus. I declare tonight we have more than enough. I need you to touch yourself and say I have more than enough. You have more than enough. Yes, God, in the mighty name of Jesus, more than enough. And I declare we possess everything we want through the blood of the covenant according to Isaiah 61:7. Would you say this with me tonight? Say, Father. Come on, say it. Say, Father. I decree and declare that you are my shepherd. Glory to God. And I shall not lack, and I shall not want one thing in my life, for God— you, God— take taking excellent care of me, and I receive your care. Hallelujah! And I receive your blessing. Glory to God, in the name of Jesus. And I decree and declare to every person under the sound of my voice tonight, if you've got a prayer language, I dare you to begin to pray in the spirit right now. I decree and declare to every person under the sound of my voice, live or by replay, I declare unto you tonight in the name of Jesus. Yes, Lord. Yes, Lord. That you shall recover all. There's stuff that you didn't even know was stolen from you that you have, because the enemy came in like a thief and stole it in seasons of doubt. But God said As you muster up faith and trust tonight, he's brought you recovery. And I announced— oh, hear this good in the Holy Ghost— that there shall be no more. Glory to God. You didn't hear me. I said no more. Bye. No more dry season. Did y'all catch that? No more dry season. In the name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus. No more dry season. Glory to God. If you receive that tonight, I dare you type it in the comments. No more dry season. The drought is over. The drought is over. The drought is over. Glory to God. The drought is over. Promise. The drought is over. Thank you, Father. We give you praise, God. We give you glory. We honor your great name, God. We bless you. Come on, worship her. Look to my— if you believe the drought is over, worship him. Give him glory tonight. We praise him and we magnify his great name. What a mighty God we serve. What a good God he is. Hallelujah, hallelujah. What a good God he is. Glory to God. What a good God he is. Father, we thank you for hearing our prayers tonight. And Father, even as we go into your word, may we experience the light, the illumination— yes, God— and the intelligence. Thank you, Father, of the Holy Spirit. And we give you praise and glory for it now. In the mighty name of Jesus, we bless you and we honor you for it, God. In Jesus' name. Listen, God, if you're here with us tonight, please go ahead and share this. We're going to play the opener to tonight's message, and then you'll see me live right after that. Glory to God. I believe God— glory to God— has come to bless us. I believe this series, The Story of a King, is blessing our life. I need you to receive the influx of overflow tonight. You have more than enough, and you just need to receive it. Check out the opener, and then I'll be right back. Glory to God.
Could have been a night just like this one. The air filled with anticipation, and that light so bright in the night sky that it beckoned for shepherds and wise men to follow. Imagine, to their surprise, when they arrive and find a tiny baby laying in a manger surrounded with nothing more than farm animals. How could this be their king? How could the Savior of the world be here in this place? And yet they were compelled. They bowed down right there and worshiped him. You see, they knew that something beyond comprehension had just transpired. The hope of all mankind has just shown up before them, that Jesus, although a baby, had come for you and for me. He came to give us a hope and a future. He came so that we might joy and light. He came so that no matter what circumstances we find ourselves in, all we have to do is call on his name and we would be saved. This is a story of Christmas. This is the story of the greatest gift ever given. The story of a king, the savior of the world, born in a manger. For you and for me.
Well, praise God and welcome tonight. God bless you guys. I feel Jesus, y'all. Glory to God. I'm telling you, I feel Jesus in this room tonight. I pray you guys are well. Welcome to a Thursday night thrust. I appreciate God for our time of prayer. Glory to the name of God. And I want to jump right into our teaching tonight. Listen, it's going to be phenomenal. Glory to God. So I need you to stay with me. Glory to the name of God. I'm gonna pray one more time, just briefly, over this word. I trust— glory to the name of God, glory to God— that your ears are open to hear what the Spirit would say to the church tonight. As a matter of fact, that's going to be my prayer. Glory to God. That you'll be open to receive what the Spirit will say to the church tonight. Listen, if you have not shared this, please, by all means, I need you to go ahead and share this experience now. Glory to God, because this word is going to be a blessing to somebody tonight. Let's pray. Father, in Jesus' name, We thank you again for your presence. We thank you for the opportunity to teach. We thank you for those that are here live or by replay, God. And I pray that heaven would superimpose itself upon them. You said in your word, you sent your word and it healed them. So Father, tonight, in the name of Jesus, as your word goes forth, let healing occur. Even for our prayer request tonight from Bruce, I decree and declare that that grandson is being made whole now in the mighty name of Jesus, and Rapha is with him. And every person battling infirmity under the sound of my voice, I declare that they are being made whole now in the mighty name of Jesus. It is so, in Jesus' mighty name we pray. Amen. And thanks be to God, man. I love Jesus, man. He's so good to us. Glory to God. And we're so excited about who he is, what he's doing. Glory to God. What he's doing for you. Glory to God. What he's doing for your family. I want you to be encouraged. Glory to God. Because you're in the best days. Glory to God. Of your life. Glory to God. Thank you, Jesus. We love him. Glory to God. And he's a great, great and mighty God. Hallelujah, hallelujah. No God like our God. He's so good. Tonight we've been in this series, we're continuing this series, of course, The Story of a King. And I'm excited about teaching this because I get to talk about Jesus and So every time I preach, the message leads to Jesus anyway, but we get to spend the entire context of what we're teaching talking about Jesus, the King of Kings, Lord of Lords. And I'm excited that I get an opportunity to do that, and I'm grateful that every time, you know, I, you know, I pray about these messages, God give me something fresh and something new to share with you. So tonight we're talking about the Christ that was born to revelation. Watch this, he was born to revelation. His very birth— hear this— is to the spirit of revelation. Glory to God, which is the Father, which is God. Everything about Jesus's birth was revealed prior So tonight I want to talk a little bit about how in the kingdom it's so important that you operate from a standpoint of revelation. Your life has to be one that a curtain has been pulled back and things have been revealed. And so you cannot really be an effective kingdom citizen And because we've been talking— so the first message we talked about, born to reign. So Jesus came into this world to reign. Glory to God. He came into this world to rule as king. Now the understanding of that is this: Christ is not coming— when he comes back, he's not going to be down here setting up a kingdom. He's actually coming to sit on the throne of a kingdom that's already established. The reality is, is again, the kingdom is in us, and each one of us individually have a work to perform for the King who is going to reign. That is to create kingdom legacy so that throughout eternity the kingdom is functioning in alignment with what we produce. Watch this. The kingdom that's in us is an eternal kingdom. The kingdom that's in us— watch this— is unshakable. So this is why he put an aspect of kingdom purpose uniquely in each one of us, so we can manifest kingdom purpose— oh my God— on earth. Rub your belly— excuse me— as I got something to produce for the king. Yeah, I got something to produce for the king. So because he's born to reign over what you produce, get that tonight. Secondly, we talked about that Jesus came and he was born— glory to God— to restore. He was, he was born, glory to God, to restore us back to him, glory to God. And we talked about citizenship in that message, glory to God. And then Sunday we had a discussion how— so God's born to restore, redeem, he's born to reign. Sunday we talked about he's born to reconcile, to reconcile us back to him, to reconcile us to each other, glory to God. Because you can't function in kingdom function if you're not aligned with God, if you're not one with God. Watch this, if you don't know the King. And in order to get to know the King, you have to create space for him by spending time with him. Glory be to God the Father. Oh my God, I love him. He's such a good God. That's right, Prophetess Tawanda, this kingdom is unshakable. It can't be moved. And anytime you eject yourself from the auspices of this kingdom and begin to trust in any other kingdom, you subject yourself to being shaken. You subject yourself to failure. You subject yourself to not making it. And that's not what we want. You, you subject yourself to struggle because now you, you start trusting in a kingdom that God never called you to trust in. My God, today I'm gonna get out of here, guys. I'm gonna get out of here. I just sound long, but I'm gonna get out of here tonight. So tonight we're talking about Born to Revelation, or watch this, a better way to say it, Born to Reveal. God wants to show you who he is and who you are. Watch this, and what your assignment is. See, the clarity of assignment is what your search should be. See, many times we spend our life duplicating and living out a life that someone else is living. And listen, family, that's never what God called you to do. He never called you to duplicate and live out what someone else is doing. Rub your belly and say, I'm unique, I'm vintage. Matter of fact, type it in the comments, I am authentic. I want to submit to you tonight that you are authentic. There's no one else like you. And if you've been listening to me over the last 35 years, you understand that this has been my life message, trying to lead people to their authenticity. You're uniquely you. There's nobody like you. And watch this, nobody can do, glory to God, what you can do. My God, tonight nobody can live your— the life, glory to God, that you've been called to live like you can live it. You're authentic, glory to God, and you got to produce this authentic assignment in the earth. Are y'all hearing me tonight? And you got to make up in your mind you're going to give birth to what's been placed in you. Where it starts— let's, let's, let's just back up and let's, let's start with the assignment part. So you were born to operate in your assignment. Jesus came to reveal that assignment so you can bring that assignment forth. Just like Jesus was looking— just like Mary and Joseph was looking for a place— excuse me— for Jesus to be born, God wants you to begin to seek the place for your assignment to be born. So let's, let's get— let's go to Jeremiah, my favorite scripture. Glory to God. In the whole Bible. Jeremiah 1:5. But it says so much here, that's why I allude to it so much. And it's just appropriate tonight that we read this. Jeremiah 1:5. That's all I'm gonna read because I got a lot to cover, but I'm gonna do it quick. Watch this. The Bible says, before I formed thee in the belly— listen, I feel Jesus. Glory, man. He says, I knew thee. Let's stop right there. He says, before I formed thee, which is yet sar. And there's another word, yet seb, that's akin to this word yet sar in Hebrew. It literally means before I framed you, fashioned you as a human. So before you had human chromosomes, before you had human DNA, listen to this. Before you had human intellectual capacity, before you had lungs and a liver and a heart and a cardiovascular system— you get it— before you were framed and fashioned as a human being. Watch this. Before the spermatos of your father, your natural father, broke the embryo of your mother, God says— watch this— before that act, he says, I knew you. My God, I knew. The word knew here is yada, y-a-d-a in Hebrew. This word yada means I was acquainted with you. Watch this, I advised you. Oh my God, I dialogued with you. I gave you instruction. That's what yada is. It means, watch this, I placed a plan in you— watch this— that would later be revealed. Oh, so God made a deposit in you. He, he planted a seed in your spirit man, because remember, again, we're trichotomy. We're body, we're soul, we're spirit. You don't get a body until you're formed in your mother's belly. But you have soul and spirit, glory to God, pre-biological existence, before you get an earth suit. Oh boy, you have a pre-Adamic, a pre-human existence. Somebody said, oh no, you're just making it up. No, I just read it. I just read it. Before he formed you in the belly, what He knew you. Glory to God. He knew you. He yada. He spent time. He appointed time. He knew the soul. He knew the spirit. Glory to God. Glory to God. And when you came to earth and God formed you from the dust of the ground, breathed the breath of your life, which is the proper translation of that. When he breathed, he breathed the breath of your authentic life into you, you became a living— oh, I feel like running, I feel like running! Y'all better catch this revelation. When he breathed into Adam the authentic life of every human being, bam, when you get breath, it's in you. Now it has to be regenerated, come alive, so you can see it. Through Holy Spirit, through relationship with God. Boy, I tell you, so God knew you. He hung out with you. Oh, so you need to spend some time with him so you can know what he knows. Because he— watch this, and here's the assignment. And before you came forth out of the womb, watch this, I sanctified you. I set you apart with a specific assignment. I ordained thee a prophet. He's talking to Jeremiah here. That's his authentic purpose. You may not be a prophet, but you have an authentic ordination, which is an order. Glory to God. This word ordain, glory to God, is Nathan in Greek— in Hebrew, I'm sorry. And it means that you have been set, or you have been given a permit to perform a particular task. Which means before you get a piece of paper or degree or license or ordination paper, God gives you a permit to perform. That's why you shouldn't receive a paper, a degree, or license that doesn't align— watch this— with what God has assigned. Oh boy, say that with me. Say, I must align with what God assigned. See, here's the problem in life. Many a times people don't align with what God assigned. They create their own alignment. And do what they want to do. But Jesus was born to reveal this assignment. Oh my God, he says, and I, I ordained you, I sanctified you, I knew you. Assignment— it's the problem. Watch this, write it down. Some of you probably already have this in your notes, but it bears reviewing tonight. It's my life message, man. Your assignment is the problem you were created to solve. I'mma teach it until you get it. You got to discover the problem. You— not what I was created to solve, what you were created to solve. There's someone waiting on you to discover this so you can solve their problem. And by the way, your assignment is never your decision. It's your discovery. So God was born— hear me— to reveal your assignment so you can discover it. Touch yourself. Say, I'm here on assignment. Lord have mercy. Lord have mercy. Say, I'm here on assignment. Rub your belly again. Say, I'm here on assignment. You got to get a revelation of it. To and align. Because there's a problem. You're a life jacket to someone that's drowning. Your assignment will save them. God already has a deal in place that your assignment brings them out. So you gotta get the revelation, and again, that comes through time with God. Hear me, family. Oh my God, I'll say that again. That comes through time with God. Y'all hear? Y'all hear? Y'all getting it? So the assignment has to be revealed. Let me go deeper. I've told you before, God is never recognized, he's always revealed. A God-like assignment— watch this— is never just recognized, it's always— wait a minute, wait one minute, Michael Woods— it's revealed. So the assignment has to be revealed. You can't just recognize it. You just can't base it on natural instinct. But what placates you spiritually? What problem makes you angry that you want to solve? What stimulates you with passion to get done? And you gotta align yourself with that thing that God has placed in you. It's been in you your whole life. It's been in me my whole life. My daddy tell you, when I was a little boy, I'd be out in the backyard preaching to my friends, and I'll be, I'll be preaching, laying hands, prophesying. Glory to God. Didn't even have a license yet, but it was in me. What I'm doing today, what I've been doing full time for 35 years, what I've been doing, uh, for 40 years. Glory to God. In perpetuity. My God. Today I need to understand it was always in me. The things I'm doing were always in me. My perception Glory to name my ability to design, my ability to produce. The things that I do, they were always in me. I was always very good at these things. They always had a passion and leaned toward creativity. The reality is, family, it's always been there. You got to discover it. I'm gonna say it again: your assignment— hear me— it's not your decision. it's your discovery. Glory to God. It's not your decision, it's your discovery. And you must make up in your sanctified mind that you're going to be diligent to pursue revelation of this assignment. In every assignment— watch this, guys, hear me— every assignment, there are basically 5 things. And I'm gonna get out of here because God wants to reveal this assignment piece to you. Because you have, you have a kingdom assignment that you got to bring forth. And Jesus was born from revelation to reveal to you that assignment so you could take your proper place in the kingdom of God. Hear me, family. Hear me, family. Every assignment, number one, watch this, has a problem. I just told you your assignment is a problem you created to solve. We're praying about financial drought. Listen, if you discover your life assignment and you consistently work in it, it will end financial drought in your life because money is what you receive when you give somebody something they cannot get without you. I'm gonna say that again. Money is what you receive when you give somebody something they cannot receive amid you. So you got to be there in order for their problem to be solved. So let me give you a very minuscule example. When you show up at your job, guess what? They hired you to do a certain job because they can't get that part of the work done unless you're present. Y'all, that's why if you don't show up, they'll fire you and get somebody else to do it. The reality is you get a paycheck because you're giving— you're solving a problem of some kind. I ain't telling you folks to just go to work and scroll your phone all day and be on the internet No, I'm not talking about you because you, you, you're robbing your, your employer and, and you should repent. But listen, those of us that understand the power of work, if you're an entrepreneur, a business person, that business is not going to yield the return unless you're solving problems. You got to solve the problem of your client. I always talk about my wife, man, and she's an excellent baker. Uh, she— her, her hands are anointed to Period. Uh, never tasted a pound cake, a red velvet cake, uh, like hers. Glory to God. Uh, so, so great. Glory to Jesus. Hallelujah. So great, so great. Will make you— glory to God— slap your mama. Glory to God. For real. And, uh, but every— she, she called me today. I was up here working. And she wanted to give me a testimony of someone that had used her cakes for event. The, the director of the entire event wanted to call her on FaceTime and tell her— listen, this person doesn't even eat Real Vivid Cake— ate hers and said to her, it's the best cake I've ever had. She solved a problem and it opened up a wide door for other events. Can I tell you something? If you discover what you do and solve the problem, your financial drought will end. You got to get a revelation and take your place in the kingdom. I didn't say the church. Some of you trying to get a microphone in your hand. Yeah, you want this, you want this right here. Yeah, I want that. Y'all, that's what y'all want right there. This mic. Y'all want a mic? Maybe this one will come out for us. Yeah, y'all want that. Y'all want that. That's what y'all want. But listen, let me tell you something. It's not about that. Glory to God. It's what we do when we leave that building. Matter of fact, the church should be Kingdom University, and you should show up at church, show up at Bible study, show up at Sunday morning show up on live streams to learn how to advance the kingdom. If you're going to church and all you're doing is one person on the mic and all they do is entertain you, you're missing it because that's not what this is about. The church— which the word church we didn't see until the epistles— the reality is the church, or the ecclesia, Glory to God. We didn't see the active movement of the church into the epistles. Jesus talked about the church, the called-out ones, but the establishing of the church is what I'm meaning. We did not see the function. And when you see the church functioning in the New Testament, it's constantly deploying people into assignment. And this is what it's about. Not gathering a bunch of people in the room and nobody ever get deployed. And all you do is work at the church. You decorate, you plan events, you usher, you sing in the choir, you on the praise team. But when you show up in the world, the kingdom is not represented. That, my friends— oh my God— is a huge problem. Huge. That's an issue, man. And you got to correct that. Glory to God. I got to get out of here. Glory to God. But, but listen, stay with me. So your assignment again is a problem you created to solve. Your assignment, glory to God, has problems. Not only the problems you saw, but you're going to have some problems that you go through processes that you got to learn how to process through within yourself. Marriage problems, faith problems, money problems. You're going to go through them because these problems are building you. These problems are getting you ready to be qualified to do the assignment. So every assignment has problems. Every assignment, secondly, has people. God is a people-orientated God. There are people that need you. I know some of you say, Apostle, I haven't heard you say this before. I'm saying it again tonight. I'm telling you because You need to start doing it. You need to find the people you're called to. God needs to reveal that to you. And I'm not talking about finding the people you could start a church and be lording over them and being religious and being great and wonderful. That's not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about showing up in the world, making an impact, advancing the kingdom. There's some folk that don't even know Jesus, and they won't know him until you show up. Okay, okay, all right, all right. Y'all say okay, are you all right? Yeah, I'm just telling you, man. Again, y'all want a mic, y'all want to preach, y'all want to prophesy. We got, we got way too many of them folks because most of them, most of the people that's saying they that, a lot of these people are not called. Listen to me, when I thought I was doing the work of an apostle and didn't want the title One, stunning title. Glory to God. My spiritual father said, look, dude, over 2 decades ago, you, you need to walk in who you are. The reality is, if he wouldn't have never pushed me to accept the title, I would never accepted it. But I understand the significance to why I had to. Now it comes with too much. But people wake up and just sign up for stuff they are not called to do. Something is wrong with that. You need to want to be who you are. Find the people you're assigned to. Find the people assigned to you to help you advance the kingdom. All right, thirdly, every assignment, there are places— geography, geographical locations you got to go to. Some of you got to move. So your assignment can be developed, so it can be cultivated, so you can be deployed in the right space. Oh boy, every assignment has geography. You cannot be so attached emotionally to things that's not feeding you. There are people who are emotionally attached to death traps. Oh my God, relationships that they're not growing in is a trap. Are y'all hearing this? Churches, they're not growing in, they're dying. It's a trap. Taking classes that's not aligned with your assignment, that's a trap. Woo! Boy, I'm telling you, I'm working on y'all tonight. I'm working on y'all tonight. Glory to God. I know y'all like it, but you're trapped in a state, you're trapped in a city. That you ain't called. Your assignment is not there, and you got to get out of that place. You got to get out of Lodibar. Oh boy, you got to get out of that cave. You, you got to get to a place you know not of, Abraham, so you can do your assignment. Every assignment has geography. It has places. Fourthly, Every assignment has particulars. I'm going somewhere tonight, stay with me. This is the backdrop to where I'm going. Pacifics. God knows the Pacifics. That's why you got to spend time with him so you can get the specifics of your assignment. Yes, yes, just touch yourself and say, Lord, give me the specifics. If you don't mind, if you'll be kind tonight, please type it in the comments. God, give me the specifics. Lord, give me the specifics. Lord, give me the Pacific. God wants you to clearly know how to walk this out. You can't know that if you don't have a prayer life. You can't know that if you don't have a worship life, you don't have a study life. You gotta spend time with God so that the details can be released. And then finally, in every assignment, there's provision. Where God guides, he provides. If God tells you to do it— oh my God, tonight he gonna take care of it. Oh God, many times you going through drought and dry season because you ain't doing the right thing. And God says, listen, you got to get in the right place, you got to do the right thing, got to get the right people. So that the provision will follow you. Glory to God! I love him, he's such a good God. So why, Michael Woods, do we need revelation? Why was Christ born again? Not about Santa and all of the lights and all the beauty of the season. We, we love the beauty of the season, we love the joy of the season. I love Christmas But we can mess around and make all that stuff idolatry if we don't understand the real reason behind this. God was born to reign. He was born to redeem. He was born to reconcile us to him. He was born— hear me, guys— to reveal himself. He wants to unveil his identity. He wants to unveil his life because remember, Christ can never be recognized. He has to be revealed. Let's go to Revelation 3:10. Let's, let's just look at this right quick because I want, I want to show you what I see when I read this. Philippians 3:10. Glory to God. The Bible said you'll find this Intelligence. He says, that I may know him. There's no— again, but watch, watch, watch how different this word is than the word we read, yada, in Hebrew. It's— it— they— there's an inference that causes them to work together, but they're different. Watch the Greek word. The Greek word is gnōskō, and gnōskō is knowledge that is gained by a process through relationship and experience. So watch this, the emergence of what God knew about me, Yada, in Jeremiah 1:5, it is introduced through relationship, through process, watch this, through experience. The Bible says here that I may know him. Who him? I ain't talking about the hymns in the book. That I may know him, Jesus Christ, and the power of his resurrection. So there's two things I got to know. I need to know him, and I need to know the power of his resurrection. What, what you mean resurrection, Michael Woods? An— anastasis. Anastasis in Greek, that means the ability to come back from the dead, the ability— watch this— to defeat death. The idea of the resurrection means that you operate in a realm where when something dies in your life, if it doesn't need to stay dead— let's use this for example— your finances, when money starts, stuff starts dying financially Instead of sitting there trying to ride through it in your carnal way of doing things, you need to use the power that's in you to resurrect your finances, resurrect your family, resurrect your marriage, resurrect those dead behaviors in your children. You got power. What's power? Wait a minute, what's power? Power here is dunamis, which is inherent ability, which means I have an inheritance of ability that comes from God. So what, what do you mean, Michael? I gotta know him, and through knowing him, through experience, he imparts to me authority. I get an inheritance. So watch this, just because you got saved Here we go. Doesn't mean you got power. Oh, we— power comes through knowing him. Power comes through relationship and encounters with him. I posted something this morning. If we're going to see the manifestation of revival which is the power to quicken or bring dead things alive. Glory to God! Dead traditions, dead people. Oh my God, dead spirits. Glory to God! That's revival, and we're going to see it. I posted this this morning. You got to pray for it in private. You got to pray that it manifests in private. Many times in scripture you'll see the psalmist praying, Lord, send revival, send revival, God, revive us again, O Lord. Because he's the only one that can give us revival. Watch this. But the second part of that was you have to— once you pray for it, you have to take action toward revival in public. You pray for it in private, but in public you live it out. You operate in this power. You don't operate like normal people. See, if you're reacting to your issues in life like everybody else does, That's a reflection to the relationship you have with God. Oh my God, I gotta go, I gotta go, because I, you know, I'm sensing, I'm sensing resistance, man, because, because you think you know. But at the end of the day, the reason you ain't got no power over that— yeah, that thing that keeps creeping up, your old friend that keep coming up and snatching you back in the world, them old thoughts You ain't got no power over it because you won't spend no time with him, and you're trying to fix it yourself. I got to get out of here. He said that I may know him in the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death. Watch it. So when I read this, first of all, I wonder why he will utter such a thing, because again, you're inviting pathema sufferings and encounters and processes and problems that birth out something. Glory to God. He did this— watch this— because his heart— watch this— was filled with personal revelation of God. God. Everything that he had been through, God had— even in his conversion, God had revealed himself to him. So he knew no matter what God presented, God's love was so powerful that he will always do things to better him, even when he didn't like it, even when it hurt. See, sometimes God will take things away. Sometimes you'll have to lose things and people in your life so God can make you better. Oh, we don't like purging. We don't like walking away from stuff we know we need to walk away from. Oh boy, you gotta surrender to revelation. He was born to reveal. And once God reveals— why, there's another word for revelation in the Greek called photizo. It's what we get words like photograph. A photograph is an image that is manifested based on what was previously seen. In other words, if— watch this— I'm sitting in front of camera live, what the camera is actually doing is called cinematography. It's taking a photo, a cinema photo, and it's converting it into picture, but it has to see me first in order for you to see me. It's seeing me and then you seeing me. The camera is seeing me first. The camera's eye sees me before your eye. Listen, you gotta see what's in God's cinematography, what God has produced for you. Watch this, you need a preview of what's coming. Whenever you go to the movies, they give you previews of what's coming, and they pull the best parts out of those movies. And you know, I like the previews, sometimes 15, 20 minutes. I love it because it's introducing me to what I can go see next. They bring out these trailers. You need to see the trailer of your life, and you need to concentrate on where you're supposed to be going. And it makes it easy to let go of people and things that can't go. Yeah, it makes it easy to adjust. Woo! I gotta get out of here, guys. Oh my God, if y'all receiving this, just, just throw some hands up in the comments or something. Listen, I need you to understand that you're unique, you're authentic, and your assignment needs to be revealed. And once it's revealed Glory to God! You become dangerous to the enemy. Glory to God! See, where there's no revelation— and I'm almost done— there's violation. When your assignment has not been revealed to you, you violate your life. When your assignment has not been revealed to other people, they violate you, they don't handle you right. But Christ came to reveal. And here's what I need you to understand: it's not your job to walk around revealing yourself to people. Oh God, here we go. Let him reveal you to them. Don't you know I'm Apostle such and such? I'm prophet. I'm Reverend Doctor, uh, no. You let people see the Christ in you and who he has made you. And watch this, you got to put a demand on people praying about who you are. And I'm not saying telling them, oh, you need to pray about who I am. No, pray that way. Ask God to invoke people to pray for revelation of who you are so they'll handle you properly. Oh God, so they'll never violate you, so they'll never mistreat you because they know you're God's child. Because really, that's the bottom line. Glory to God. See, you also need— so you need revelation to unveil who Christ is, because what I'm gonna tell you something, he ain't baby Jesus no more. He grown, Jesus. I didn't— I need to hear this. I was watching the movie, the man was on there talking about he praying to little baby Jesus. Jesus is grown. He ain't no baby no more. I need y'all to hear me. He grown, Jesus. Oh God, he grown. Fully divine, supernatural God Jesus. Ain't no baby no more. The Bible said he grew in stature and power. So we need a revelation that he God and he God in us. He the King of Kings, he the Lord of Lords. I'm almost out of here, y'all. Glory to God. My God, tonight I love him. Let me slow down. So first you need a personal revelation of Jesus Christ, and that's why you need— he was born to give you that so he could give you a revelation of assignment. Thirdly, so we need revelation assignment, revelation of Jesus. Third reason we need revelation, and Jesus was born to reveal, we need a personal revelation of worship. This is powerful. Now let me go to— hallelujah! Let me go here, let me go here. All right, here we go tonight. Ooh, shabba ikondo! Somebody shout, Jesus is Lord! Hallelujah! My God, here we go. All right, come on, let's go, let's go to— there's a few places I can go. Let's go to— let's look at it in here. Let's see, let's look at Matthew, I think. Ah, now let's look at John's context on this. Go to John. John. I like what Matthew say about worship, but let's look at John. Let's go to John. We're going to John. Ah, and it take me less time to dissect this one. Thank you, Holy Spirit. Glory to God. John 4:24. Watch this. Touch your belly first before we read. Say, I need a revelation of true worship. Watch this. The Bible says God is a spirit, and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. Now watch this, let me show you the play on words here. There are two words for spirit in this text, and if you notice, the King James has one capitalized and another lowercase. Here's the interesting piece: he does that to draw distinction between God on the throne and God in us. But the reality is he's still the same God Because if you transliterate the word Spirit, capital or not, it's pneuma. It's pneuma. Hallelujah. It's pneuma, which means the Holy Spirit. It means that which is equal with God, that, that is equal with the Father. So God is a spirit, and us that worship Pro-sukeo, uh, pro-sukuneo. Pro-sukuneo. This word means, watch this, to kiss the hand, to reverence as superior from an inferior. So real worship says, I'm an inferior, he's superior. And watch this, when you go to sing your songs and pray, or whatever you're doing to worship, you— it should always be in your mind. One, this is not performance, all right? Because he really not concerned about how good you sound. He's concerned about your heart position and your revelation of him. See, you really can't truly worship if you don't realize he's superior for real, and you're inferior. So you need revelation. You need the Jesus that was born to reveal to you the superiority of God so you can worship him truly in spirit. And when you do that, man, I'm telling you, when that revelation is there, tears are going to come. God's going to start massaging your heart. He's going to break you because you understand he's so much bigger than you are. We should never enter into worship thinking we are equal with God, because we're not. The moment you think you're doing God a favor because you worship— hear me— you're not. You're not doing God a favor because you lift your hands and sing. As a matter of fact, I said this in the series I did last month. I'm gonna say it again. Created to Worship. God don't need your worship. Uh-oh, somebody said— somebody said before, God need my praise. No, he don't. He declared that he is God all by himself. You need to worship so God can dwell where you are. God don't need your worship, he don't need your praise, but you worship so you can enter into his space. He likes it. He, he uses it to open up portals. He— because he sees you honoring him. And here's— I want— here's a very important thing I want you to understand. God will never force you to worship. I need you to let that marinate. Worship is a choice. That's why I mean, I used to— man, I used to be— because I love worship, and there'll be times, literally, I'd be in worship at church, and sometimes I close my eyes. A lot of times in worship I close my eyes because you have a tendency to look in. I can see Jesus, and it's not about the people's faces, so I'm looking to him. There's times I have opened my mouth in worship, open my eyes, and behold the people and immediately it snatched me out of the spirit because I saw somebody in there not worshiping. And you know what the Lord had to teach me? You can't make people worship because, number one, they can't really worship me if they don't know me. And the Lord said to me, he said, if they knew me, you wouldn't even have to tell them to lift their hands. If they knew me you wouldn't have to tell them to sing. If they knew me, you would not have to tell them to open their mouth and give me glory, because they will have a revelation that I am their Father, I love them, I'm their God, and they will immediately do it without coercion. Boy, y'all don't like how this man teaching tonight. I gotta go, I gotta go, I gotta go. It's because, listen, y'all want to be pumped, you want to be primed, you stand up, give God praise, clap your hands. You want somebody to kill themselves to get you to worship. It shouldn't be that. You want somebody to set you up for a praise break, man. If you really knew God, you walk in the door giving him thanks. Wait a minute, somebody said you ain't even in the word. Yes, I am. David said, I'll enter his gates with thanksgiving. I'll enter his courts with praise. I will say that this is the day the Lord has made. I will rejoice, for he has made me glad. So I need the King to be born, glory to God, in my life. I'm glad he came into the world so I can get a true revelation of worship, so I can get a true revelation, glory to God, of my assignment, so I can get a true revelation of who he is. Let's pray tonight. Father, in Jesus' name, I thank you for this word. God, I don't know who I was helping, but I pray this word has helped someone. And dear God, I decree and declare, God, that by your power and by your anointing, that your people will never be the same. I declare that they will get revelation, revelation. I release revelation, revelation tonight. Of your word, of their assignment. I release revelation, God, of who you really are. God, there is an identity crisis in the body of Christ, and I decree and declare tonight that the people under the sound of my voice, whether they're live or by replay, that they'll no longer struggle with who you are. They'll understand your kingship. Your lordship, and how they fit in the scheme of your plan. Father, I thank you tonight for real revelation of worship. They will come as inferiors to superiors. We won't have to be coerced, God. We'll come gladly. Glory to God. With our hands lifted up and our mouth filled with praise, with a heart of thanksgiving, we will bless you and we will honor your name. I give you praise for it now in Jesus' name. Amen. And thanks be to God. Man, I love y'all tonight. Thank you for your time. Thank you for tearing with me. Glory to God. Thank you for praying with me. Those of you that got on at 7 and prayed with us from 7 to 8, I believe God heard our prayer. I believe we got breakthrough. I believe that the drought is over. Glory to God! And that we have stepped into the greatest, most— oh my God— increased days of our life. I need you to receive it. Listen, if you desire to be a blessing to ministry, guys, this is an opportunity for you to do that. I need every person that's still on here to make up in your spirit tonight that you're going to be a blessing to ministry. I'm going to put the ways to give up on the screen really quick. Glory to God. And I want you to be a blessing to ministry. Glory to God. Listen, the reality is you cannot beat God's given. The ways to give— to give should be on the screen now. And I need every person that will tonight to make a sacrifice. I'm not going to tell you what to do But I believe that God has something for you. I'm still standing on the word that Isaac sowed in famine and he reaped a hundredfold the same season. I decree tonight, as you sow— some of you listen to me do this and you never give, but listen, I'm gonna tell you something. Whenever God talks to you about a seed, he has a future on his mind. If you're hearing me tonight, if you hear my voice, he's talking to you. He has a future on his mind for you, and I need you to be obedient. I need you to pray and make a sacrifice tonight. I'm not going to tell you what a sacrifice is. Glory to the name of God. It's just that it's a sacrifice. It's not something you can afford. I want you to make a sacrificial gift Tonight, I need you to trust God and make it tonight. So again, anytime he talks to you about a seed, it's in timing. It's in timing. Get it in the ground. So if you're hearing me, get your seed in the ground tonight. Uh, they're gonna put the ways to give in the comments as well, but I need you to trust God. I'm going to pray right now, glory to God, for your seed, for your giving. And I want to believe God, hallelujah, that this seed will multiply for you a thousand times more. Listen, we're trusting God for so many things for you and for our ministry this month, and I'm believing God for wide open doors in your life so that the things that God has promised you will manifest themselves sweatlessly. Let's pray, let's pray over your giving, let's pray over your seed. Father, bless these seeds, bless every obedient heart that makes a sacrifice tonight. Multiply the seed back to them 1,000 times more, and we give you praise for it now in Jesus' name. We rebuke every selfish spirit. We bind the spirit of selfishness, but we loose liberality, and we thank you that we don't lack a thing. Your people don't lack a thing. Rhoda Church doesn't lack a thing. We give you praise for it now. In Jesus' name. Amen. And thanks be to God. Family, I love y'all, man, so much. Thank y'all so much for joining us tonight. Please share this video. Listen, we got a great saxophonist coming. She's powerful, she's anointed, uh, she's gonna bless us. Glory to the name of God. Double D is going to do his thing. He's anointed to do comedy. So we're gonna have a good time. We're gonna enjoy great music. We're gonna get the word, we're gonna see the power of God manifest. Listen, you need to be in the house. This event is free. We don't have a mega building, but we do mega stuff. So in, in order to get your seat reserved, listen to me, you need to text 2025 to the number that's on the flyer. 2025 to 470-777. 8279.
