Y'all sing real well all the time, but we're not here to entertain. We're here to pull open the heavens so that God's glory can be revealed. Worship is demonstrative, and that means you have to do something. The Bible says let everything have breath praise. Anybody can praise. But them that worship must worship him in spirit and in truth. Keshaman te tebe soto rabbaia. If you got two feet, I want you to just stand. If you went to a courtroom tomorrow and a judge entered, you would have to stand. I need to make you aware Jesus is here. And whatever you need from him, he's willing to give it to you. I was on live Tuesday with Apostle Brandon, and he said something so powerful, that worship is an exchange system. It's a place where we make an exchange on earth for what's in heaven. And if you want to see victory— glory to God— If you want to see breakthrough in your life, I want you, while you're on your feet, just to lift your hands. And just like they were singing, I just want you— don't worry about who you rolled with, don't worry about the time right now, don't worry about who's here, who's not here— but I want you to focus on God, and I want you to begin to give him the fruit of your lips. The Bible says out of the mouth of babes and sucklings he's ordained perfect strength. So as you worship with the fruit of your lips, you're being strengthened, you're being blessed, you're being healed, you're being delivered. Tanya, Minister Anderson, can you help me since our whole AV department is at home? They all live in the same house, so Glory to God, every last one of them at home. So thank the Lord, but we're gonna get through this tonight. But I'll go— just go to the next slide. Uh, this conference, praise God, is designed to not only help people receive deliverance but to give the saints equipment on how to operate in the realm of deliverance. For us. So we're going to do a lot of teaching. It's going to be, uh, very important that you receive, that you take notes, but most of all, not that you just hear this stuff, but you take it out of this building and use it. Amen. Information, revelation without application is constipation. Are y'all hearing this? So you can get all the revelation in the world, it doesn't matter if you don't use it. Okay, so we're gonna give you a lot of information, but you're gonna have to use it. One of the very important things in the church, I think, if we're going to affect the systems of the world— say, the systems of the world— because we're not just called to have good church, to sing great songs, and to go through great processes of worship and have great encounters inside the building. We're actually called to shift systems homes outside of the church. Amen. And if we're going to do that, we got to go back to the Great Commission where Jesus said, these signs shall follow them— say them— that believe. Say, and the first thing he said was, in my name you will cast out devils. And we have a body of Christ now that don't cast out many devils. Matter of fact, most of the time the church wants to have church for 75 minutes. It is impossible to cast out devils and get people free in 75 minutes. Y'all ain't got to say much, it's just the truth. Ministry takes time. Glory to the name of God. We can't get through a 75-minute service and expect folks to get delivered. So it's important that when we start talking about casting out demons in the church that we not be in a hurry. But even in the world, you have to learn to take time with people so you can help them get free. But he said, these signs shall follow them that believe. Do you believe? Okay, so we got believers in this room. So say this with me, say, I'm one of them. So you're supposed to be casting out devils. Are y'all hearing this? So I'm gonna leave that right there. And then tonight I'm gonna talk about the warfare of rest. And this is a theme Apostle and I are gonna work through. Uh, this is one of the messages in this thing we're gonna work through all weekend, because what we want to discuss really is doing warfare God's way. God's way. Because a lot of the things that we've been taught And the techniques that we call spiritual warfare, it really ain't spiritual warfare, and it wear you out. Y'all like, okay. And warfare ain't supposed to wear you out. Oh, I've been torn with the devil and I'm tired. I kind of— I can't see that. You, you ain't been doing it right. Are y'all hearing this? Okay. Okay, I was wrestling with the demons. What you wrestling with him for? Glory to God. Thank— again, thank God for all you. I, I, let me— I was worshiping when I came up, but let me honor my friends who in the house. They are great leaders. Thank God for Apostle Patricia Jones. Come on, give God praise for her. Glory to God. Good to see you. She surprised me when she walked in Those are my friends, glory to God. And Overseer TJ Gates, y'all give God praise for them. They've been in my life a long time, so, so glad to see y'all tonight. So say that with me, say the warfare of rest. All right, we're gonna jump into this, glory to God. So let me just lay some background. First of all, we are soldiers for real. And I know y'all heard this before coming to my church. We're soldiers in the Lord's army. Matter of fact, the church I grew up in, they might have sung this song— TJ, you was in that church too— maybe 3 times on one service, cuz we would declare we was a soldier in the army of the Lord. Saying that one song, call and reply, I'm a soldier. Yeah, okay, that's enough. We, we ain't got— we don't— we, we're not doing that. But the point is, we're soldiers for real. Touch yourself, say, I'm a soldier in God's army. Soldiers are trained for war. Pastor Jeffrey was a soldier. Sister Sharon was a soldier. I was a soldier. Anybody else military? So we understand that there has to be a transition from civilian life to soldier life. You're taught the ways of a soldier. You don't just become a soldier because you sing that song. Just cause you said it don't make you— cause some people been singing that song and they never fought the devil. Okay, say, I'm a soldier in God's army. Now there are a few things that happen in war. First of all, every war has an enemy. Okay, am I right, Pastor Jeffrey? You're an army man, they taught you there was an enemy, right? You don't just point your gun at the people that got the uniform on like you. I think the church needs to learn something about that because we spend too much time pointing the gun at each other. Matter of fact, Social media has caused Christians to believe that it's a platform where we kill each other. We be looking for opportunity to kill another person. And guess what? That's not your enemy. As a matter of fact, The Bible said, if you see your brother overtaken in a fault, you that are spiritual, restore him in the spirit of meekness, of love, considering yourself lest you fall. Are y'all hearing this? Here's the problem: the operative word in the text is you that are spiritual. See, we don't restore because we're really not spiritual. Because if you were really spiritual, you're gonna do like God, right? When somebody mess up, you're gonna try to restore them back to grace, to get them back in line. Are y'all here? So I'm not your enemy, you're not mine. Anybody that names the name of Jesus is not your enemy. Let me tell you, your enemy is— your enemy is the devil. Your enemy is demons. Your enemy is principalities. And we're going to talk a lot about these terms this weekend. Your enemy is strongholds. Your enemy is generational curses. And guess what? If you waste your energy fighting the saints, you won't even recognize the devil when he shows up and it's time to fight him. And watch this, on the flip side, if you don't use the warrior in you to fight against the devil, you're gonna fight somebody. Are y'all hearing this? Because there's a warrior in you. God is looking for this fight, and he wants to fight this battle and win it. Amen. So every war has an enemy. Secondly, every war has weapons. Go to 2 Corinthians 10:3. 3 through 5. You're gonna read that. Go back to that, that last slide since you had it up there. I wanted to say that. Yeah, I just got off into something else. Okay, you— so really, you got to make a decision that you want to be a warrior. So I'm gonna say this because I put it in my notes. You'll never leave where you are until you decide where you rather be. See, you can't complain about what you permit. If you're allowing the position you're in to be a space of continuity in your life and you don't decide you want more And you laying down and letting the devil beat you down. But you got to decide, I want to be a warrior and I'm going to do warfare God's way. All right, now let's look at these weapons. Go to, go to 2 Corinthians 10:3-5. The Bible says, though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. So we don't use missiles. Are y'all hearing this? Uzis and M16s. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of this world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. Now, a stronghold is anything that's designed to keep what's in in and what's out out. I'm gonna say it again. A stronghold keeps what's in in and what's out out. So a stronghold can set up in your life to keep fresh revelation out, to keep you stuck— watch this— in old wineskins. Oh boy, a stronghold can keep you bound in poverty because you believe this is how I'm supposed to be. A stronghold keeps what's in, in, and it keeps truth out. But our weapons demolish strongholds. It pulls them down. We demolish arguments and every pretense that sets itself up against the knowledge of God. I like that. So the pretense and the arguments They set themselves up because— why? You know why? Because they know who you are. They know your purpose is valuable. Are you hearing this? They understand, glory to the name of God, that they need to stop you because if you come to full maturity, you will become a weapon formed against them and they will have no place to run your life or the people connected to you. So now you got these strongholds that set themselves up against you because they don't want to see you progress. Are y'all hearing this? He said, well, we take every thought captive and make it obedient to Christ. So this text is telling us the weapons basically that we use as believers, they are not carnal. So in other words, you can't fight a spiritual battle with your carnal mind. You can't do warfare in your carnal mind. Your mind has to be renewed. Y'all hear me? I don't need you even trying to think you're going to defeat the devil in your flesh, to defeat demons in your flesh. You can't. You have no authority to do it on your own. You need God. Amen. So every war has weapons. Let me move. Also, every war has an armor. Go to Ephesians 6. I'm just going to read it for context, 10 through 18. Finally, be strong in the Lord. I'm trying not to stay on this stuff because I ain't gonna get where I need to be. Just, just touch yourself, say, I am strong in the Lord and the power of his might. This word mighty power here, the Greek word is kratos, which is the ability of God. So this is not dunamis or exousia, this is kratos, which means now you have the supernatural ability to do what God can do. See, we got to stop trying to be strong in our own strength. So now you gotta— what— when he says be strong in the Lord, that means there's something you got to do. You have to spend time working out your spiritual muscles. Listen, if you want to be strong in the natural— first natural, then spiritual— you need to go to the gym. Are y'all hearing me? And, and the more weight you lift, the stronger you get. That's why if it gets too easy, that workout is a waste of time. You need to add some more weight on there because it's the resistance that caused you to be strong. So if you're gonna be strong in the Lord, stop complaining about the resistance he sends in your life and realize the resistance has come to work out my spiritual muscle so I can get a revelation of who he is in this area. You don't know God is Jehovah Rapha, healer, if he ain't never had to heal you. Oh, y'all ain't— okay, so, so when he do it one time, you strong in that area. Are y'all hearing this? So don't fight it when it shows up. He just getting you to flex your muscles so you can know that he's strong. Because watch this, in the Lord So when you come up against infirmity, the spirit of infirmity in somebody else's life, because you've already defeated it in your own life, you know what he can do in their life. You'll never know him as Jehovah Jireh, your provider, if you never needed him to provide. Are y'all hearing this? So he takes you through Caesars. See, the folk complaining about the EBT, they complain about the food stamps, they Government laid off, everybody's complaining. But what we need to do is understand this is an opportunity to get strong in the Lord and to trust who he is. God want to get you off welfare anyway. You want to— maybe not in here, but maybe somebody's watching. He want to get you off welfare to God fare. Let me keep reading. He says, he said, put on the full armor of God so that you could take your stand against the devil's schemes. Oh, I want to stop right there, but I'm gonna keep going. He said, for your struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world, and against the spiritual forces of evil in heavenly realms. So wait a minute, the battle is not on earth. This battle is not here, it's in the realm of the spirit. So when, when, when somebody that has a demon in them comes at you, you want to pull out your knife and cut them, you want to cuss them out, you want to get your gun and go off on them, but it's not them, it's that spirit in them that's working a scheme again, and it's all about your purpose. That demon's trying to stop your authentic self. He doesn't want who you really are to emerge, so he's coming through the people you normally care about, you love, your friends, your family, and you think it's them. No, it's the devil trying to distract you. Let me tell you what schemes do. I, I told you I didn't want to stop there, but the devil schemes— the Greek word actually is the devil's distractions. The word means that he comes to— he works tricks to break your focus, to get you off the things that pertain to God and get you looking at the things that pertain to him. The only desire— watch this— the devil has in a battle with you is to break your focus. So what he does is he distracts you. There was a movie that came out, and I'm gonna date myself, a while ago, uh, called Fatal Attraction. That chick was crazy, man. Dude married, had a wonderful family, but he got distracted by what he was attracted to. This lady was trying to kill his dog, his cat, rabbit, the wife, everybody. It was a fatal attraction. But can I tell you something? There are some distractions that can be fatal. You can have some fatal distractions. That's why you got to stay focused no matter how good it look, because the enemy knows what you like. Oh, y'all ain't got time. The Bible said Jesus was tempted in all points, yet without sin. So Jesus was tested. You're never going to be tempted with something Watch this, y'all. The religious folk not gonna like this. That you don't desire. You can't tempt me with Mad Dog 2020. I done dated myself again. I don't even think they sell that. They probably don't even sell that no more. You can't tempt me with cigarettes. You can't tempt me with weed and crack and cocaine. Are y'all hearing this? Because I don't want that. It wouldn't be tempting. You could put cocaine, crack, liquor, all that around me. I'm like, I'm gonna walk away from that every time. Are y'all hearing this? But the enemy knows what will get my eye. I said, y'all, y'all just left heaven to come to church tonight. This is how you stay delivered. You tell the truth. I tell my wife all the time, I said, you're gonna always see somebody finer than me, and there's gonna be days I'm gonna see somebody finer than you. But just because you see them don't mean you touch, don't mean you get distracted. You stay focused. Are y'all hearing this? Glory to God. So at the end of the day, the enemy will send schemes to distract you— what you like— but you got to stay focused. You know, I thank God for deliverance. I thank God for saving me. Are y'all hearing this? Because, because there was a time in my life, if I saw something I wanted, I got it. Y'all ain't got to talk to me here. I'm just telling the truth. But thank God for freedom. So, so the enemy has to think twice because I'm resting. I'm getting where I need to be. I'm resting in my freedom. So he could throw it at me, but I ain't gonna touch it because I like the rest better. I like the benefits of the rest better. So the devil will distract— say distract. So when he distracts you, what he does, he causes delays. See, the distraction— now you, you get off course, and because you get off course, now you're delayed in getting where he's trying to take you. Say delays. Some of the stuff that's taking a long time in people's life— I hear you, Father— it's happening because they bought into a distraction. And the distraction was a deception— watch this— that they believed was God. Oh boy, whoa, you got people who will marry a distraction and be in the distraction 20 years. Y'all ain't got to talk. And the stuff that God has for their life is delayed because they've been deceived that the distraction was real. I'm gonna keep moving. We have to realize that the devil and his schemes, they are very deceptive. They are designed to make you believe they are of God. Are y'all here? Yes, sir. This deceived people, they're worse off than liars because a liar know they lying. Are y'all hearing this? But a deceived person believes that they are right. So the devil will appease what you think is right. Oh God, this got to be right for me. They do this, they do that. You better pray, because just because it look good don't mean it's good. Watch this, it could be good to you but not good for you. Okay, all right. There's a 40-year-old man in this city that can be good to a 16-year-old girl. But he ain't good for her, right? Because just because it can be good too don't mean it's good for— we can fall into a deception just because we think it's good. So deception, the distraction, the delay. But watch this, the delay turns into a detour. Now you start traveling down the wrong road, trying to take shortcuts to get to a place that you gotta endure the process to keep. You go through the process to keep where you're going. If you start detouring like the children of Israel, you're going to be in the wilderness for 40 years and then die there like they did when you could have gotten the promised land in 12 days. Are y'all hearing this? So you can't take detours. And what happens is if you stay on the detour too long, you end up destroying your destiny, and then ultimately you never optimize or maximize the place that God has called you to stand in. Go next slide. Let me keep reading. He says, stand firm then with the belt of truth, buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place. Oh God, I'm— I gotta, I gotta go. Verse 15: With your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith with which you can extinguish the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, and pray in the Spirit on all occasions. With all kind of prayers and requests. For those of you that don't like speaking in tongues, and for the preachers— glory to God, I think it's— I just looked, it's— I think we got like 600 people watching on YouTube, like 200 people watching on Facebook right now. The reality is it's got to be some preachers in that group that think speaking in tongues is wrong. The reality is we just read it, you need to pray in the Spirit on all occasions. All occasions. Are y'all hearing this? With all kinds of prayers and requests. So I agree, we should pray in English and speak the word, but also when the Spirit takes over, you need to let him pray and make intercession for you. Y'all hear me? With moanings and groanings that cannot be uttered. He said, with this in mind, be alert and always keep praying for all the Lord's people. And then the next verse says, and after you've done all to stand, stand. That's where I want to get. Okay, I was good with this, but hello, thank you. All right, I don't want this to get worse now. Okay, okay, we're gonna be better. All right, thank you. Glory to God. Say armor. Say weapons. Say enemy. Say it constitutes a war. But watch this, the fourth thing: in every war there's a battleground. There's a place where the war is fought. And when it comes to spiritual warfare, there are three battlegrounds. One, the battleground of the mind. The Bible said Jesus went to the cross, and the cross was on Golgotha, and it's the skull, it's the mind. It was one of the greatest battles Jesus ever had. He battled in his psyche. The Bible says when he was in Gethsemane, he even asked the Father, can this cup pass from me? So in other words, we would have been in trouble if he wouldn't have went a little bit further. Are y'all hearing this? He went a little bit further and said, hey, nevertheless, not my will, because my will is to leave all this alone and come back to heaven. It was in his mind. Your biggest fight is here. Some of you have not physically done things, but you thought it. Oh, y'all ain't got to say nothing. Yeah, just look straight ahead and then I'll think you ain't never thought nothing. Okay, you may not have done it, but you thought it. And you have to win that battle in your head. You know why? Because through your life, what the enemy has been doing— watch this, you might write this down— he's been planting snakeheads in your head. Oh Jesus, he puts snake eggs in your head, and as you walk through life, those things hatch, and those serpents begin to fight your thought life. And you have to understand that you've already won the battle on the battleground of your mind, because if you let this same mind be in you that was in Christ Jesus— oh, y'all not here— if you let, let his mind take over your mind. Oh, mother in my church growing up, you say, she say, my mind done gone, God got it. My mind done gone, God got it. I'm like, okay. I was about 9, I didn't know what she— I'm like, your mind, Mama? I don't know if I want to sing that. But now I understand that I got to give him my whole mind. Are y'all here? I got to give him my whole mind. 'Cause if I give him my whole mind, glory to God, my thoughts will be lovely, they'll be pure, they'll be just. If I give him my whole mind, I ain't got to worry about getting dementia, or— y'all ain't got to talk to me here— I got to worry about losing my mind and going crazy over the stuff in life because he's in control. Watch this, many people are tormented in their mind. There are people that have silent frustrations that come from torment because they're constantly battling in their mind. God says, if you give me your mind, I'll take control and you'll win the battle every time. Second battleground is the battleground of the heavenlies. In the heavenly realm, the spirit of Jezebel is fighting with the spirit of Elijah, and there's a battle for the prophetic voice, for the prophetic power that you and I carry. And Jezebel is trying to silence the voice of the prophetic. And watch this, even in this day and time, this is why you have so many false prophets. You have so many prophets who call themselves prophets and they ain't hearing from God. They're speaking from their flesh. And what it's doing is stripping the credibility of real prophets because you got so many false entities to just grab a mic and start lying. Are y'all hearing this? And we'll say boldly, the Lord said the devil is a liar. God says the spirit of Elijah is warring on our behalf. And I'm gonna tell you, prophetic people— and I declare, touch yourself, say, I'm a prophetic person. Say, I got prophetic power because I have the Holy Ghost. Living inside of me. And if I speak what God says, say, heaven will honor it. And let me tell you, because of what lives in you, the enemy is afraid of your voice emerging, of you saying what thus saith the Lord, of you speaking with power and authority. Let me tell you something, when you rise up in your true voice and your true prophetic power, your— there's no bill that can stop you. There's no ailment that can stop you. You got pain in your body? You got prophetic power. Prophesy to your body and command your body to be healed. You got bills? Lay hands on them bills and say, in Jesus' name, every need I have is met. All of my debts are paid. I wish I had somebody that believe you got prophetic power. You got prophetic power. Stop complaining about your children. Prophesy to that hard-headed boy. Prophesy to that hard-headed girl and declare that they're going to fulfill the purpose of God in their life because you got prophetic power. The battleground of the mind, battleground of the heavenlies. Watch this, this next battleground is battleground of the church. Because the enemy hates the church. This is why we can't afford to be divided. No matter what church you go to— are y'all hearing this? No matter if you Baptist, Methodist, COGIC, PAW, PCA of Elf, Fire Baptized Holiness, non-denominational, charismatic— no matter what you are, if you call Jesus We should be on one accord. Are y'all hearing this? Because the Bible says a house divided against itself cannot stand. Now watch this, that text was talking about Satan and his kingdom. Satan is unified in order in his kingdom. He'll divide us in here. And keep unity in his ranks. Oh boy, that he's unified to destroy us. Then it goes on to say the kingdom of God suffereth violence, but the violent take it by force. That violence comes from a unified hell that has a strategic purpose to divide the saints. We got to get this together because you may not say it like I said, and I may not say it like the guy up the street, but we're all in the kingdom and we should be on one accord. Are y'all hearing this? Iron sharpens iron. I should be able to give you something, you should be able to give me something. Okay, so just want to lay that back drop so we understand war. Say, we're at war. But say, God has brought me to a place. Come on, say it. Say, has brought me to a place where I can relax in him and he will fight for me. Yeah, so the purpose— go to the next slide, Tonya. Let's go next slide. So the purpose of this teaching— so you know why I'm teaching this tonight, okay? I want you to understand the power to defeat the devil on every hand. I'm not trying to teach you methods of warfare that's going to wear you out and accomplish nothing, where you just walking around, folk, waving your hands and going through all these warfare motions that look like you, but the person gets up and they still the same. Are y'all hearing this? I want to show you how to operate in Kratos and move the enemy's camp so you can win. So let's look at this warfare arrest. All right, first thing we read in Ephesians chapter 6 is the foundation of it is there. He said, and I said it earlier, having done all to stand, stand. It means to abide and rest. Are y'all hearing this? It don't mean waving your hands, throwing rocks at the devil. Speaking in tongues as loud as you can. Are y'all hearing this? No, it means abide in him and rest on what he says. Are y'all with me? So this warfare of rest— go to Hebrews 4:3— has to be entered into. It doesn't just come, you got to enter into it. Hebrews 4:3 says, now we who have believed enter that rest, just as God has said. So I declared on oath in my anger, they shall never enter my rest. And yet his works have been finished since the creation of the world. So the key to entering rest is simple, is believing. Are you hearing this? So if I'm a warrior in Jesus— see, a lot of extra stuff where you trying to fight the devil and put water on your bed, put oil in your— your husband ain't saved, so you're putting oil in his shoes because you're trying to get the devil out where he going. That ain't— listen, you better use the prophetic power you got. You don't oil down the man's shoes. He in the shoes like, what in the world? And it ain't, it ain't gonna do nothing but make him mad. Listen, you need some power with God, and you need some belief that what God said he gonna do for your husband, he gonna do it. Are y'all hearing this? You gotta believe. Believe, pisteuo in Greek, which means to be totally confident, totally reliant, absolutely persuaded that what God says is true. So God says, I'm gonna sanctify the unbelieving husband by the believing wife. That needs to be how you prophesy in your house. Not every time you see him throwing oil on him, you're trying to get divorced. I rebuke you in the name— oh, come on, man, you know you better not rebuke him. He won't pay them bills the next month. He is your husband. Y'all hearing this? He just ain't saved. But you got to put the word on it. Are y'all hearing this? So, and the Bible is saying here, if God rested after he created everything He just abided in what he created. That same God is in us. We need to abide in what he says, and we won't get tired out because he'll fight for us. Let's look at verses 10 and 11 of this same chapter. He says, for anyone who enters God's rest, uh-oh, also rests of their own works. You have to determine you can't help God. I love this kind of fighting, this kind of warfare right here. See, I believe— watch this— on so many levels, the church has too big of a devil. The church— we have made the devil so big. Everything the devil fought Most of this stuff is not the devil. Most of the things that people are blaming the devil for, it's them. Okay, the devil ain't doing half of the things that we say he doing. People make statements like, the devil busy. Busy? We get some business. Last time I checked, the devil is in hell and he only has legal right to operate in idleness. The Bible says the idle mind is the devil's workshop. Watch this, the non-believing mind is the devil's workshop. So he shows up when your mind go to wandering outside of belief. He ain't busy, you busy being idle. I mean, people, we got too big a devil. I grew up, my, the old folks, you would say, the sun outside and it's raining, oh child, be quiet, the devil beating his wife. Where Satan getting married? Are y'all hearing this? I mean, we just say stuff, but listen, you got to cease from your own works. Watch this, you got to get out of your own way. You're trying to fight a battle that God wants to fight for you. Are y'all In Exodus 14, he told the children of Israel, he said, you shall not have need to fight in this battle, for the Egyptians you see today you shall see no more, for the Lord shall fight for you. Are y'all hearing this? He ain't stopped fighting, just like he said he'll fight for them. We are children of God. He will fight for us. Guess what you gotta do? Stand still. He told them in the next verse, stand still, see the salvation of God. Don't you pick up no rock, don't you pick up no spear, don't you run over there trying to fight nobody. I got this. God wants you to stand still. I'll be talking for some time. Oh, I got to go in warfare. The devil— I'm like, no, just rest in the word. You, you trying to do some work that God wants to do. Oh boy. Okay, y'all say you taking away the fun out of church, Apostle. Yeah, you supposed to rest in God. Are y'all hearing this? Watch what he says. He said, just as God did from his work, let us therefore make every effort to enter that rest so that no one will perish by following their example of disobedience. What is the example of disobedience in this context? It's people who are trying to fight battles they should not be fighting. Obedience says, God, I'm gonna let you have this. Guess what? Witches and warlocks and all of the people in the dark world, they don't mess with obedient people because they understand they can't win. Their only upper hand is disobedience and idleness and lack of faith. Witchcraft only works if you believe it. Okay, if you put your— if they— if you put your faith in the witch, it's gonna work on you. I had a man tell me one time, Apostle, a lady down in Louisiana put some on me. Can, can you pray for me? I'm like What she put on you? First of all, I need to know. God can do anything, but I want to know what she put on you. All right, I probably was being a little messy with that. I'm like, what she put on you, bro? Because we need to know what to ask God for. He said, Apostle I went to her house and, you know, she cooked for me. And I got up the next morning and, you know, we sinned and all that stuff. I got up next morning, I couldn't find my shoes. I said, well, what happened to your shoes, man of God? He said, I couldn't find them. And found out later she had buried my shoes in her yard. And guess what he said? He said, ever since she buried my shoes He started speaking this stuff. I ain't had no luck. All my stuff done dried up. All my doors done closed. Ain't nothing working for me. I told him, I said, you know what, first of all, forget about the shoes. They're buried. You're giving this witch power because you believe that what she did, based on some fables you've heard that this is true. And you think, no, this stuff was gonna happen anyway. Whatever been happening in your life was gonna happen anyway. The reality is you gotta trust God and keep it moving. I prayed for him and he went on and he was fine the rest of his life. He's still fine now. But the reality is, if you believe something And you don't— you can sit up and believe, oh, my mama had cancer, I'm gonna get it too, just because it was in your generational line. You need to break that generational curse. You declare, it stops with me. My daddy called me, uh, this weekend. My uncle, my— his oldest brother has, my uncle. And we were talking about just culture and some of the things that were happening in his life. And while he was talking to me, I was like, Lord, I thank you that that generational curse that ran through my family, that my daddy had enough sense to pray that off of me, and I didn't inherit the alcoholism. I didn't inherit those habits that they lived Are y'all hearing this? The reality is you can be free if you rest in God. I'm gonna keep moving. Are y'all got that? So here's the point: believing causes you to enter. Go to the next slide so they can see it. Believing causes you to enter. Here's a word picture of it. So you're gonna enter rest, which means you cease from weariness and the pain of labor. You decide, I ain't laboring to get nothing that's promised. Labor is a curse. Y'all ain't got to say much. Labor is a curse. Adam sinned and he was cursed. You gonna work by the sweat of your brow. Are y'all hearing this? But I read that Jesus took that curse. The Bible said, cursed is he that hangs on a tree. He got on that tree and every curse that Adam brought on us was reversed. So we don't have the curse of labor. We got promises that we actually can receive. We just have to rest in them, especially when it comes to warfare, because you— again, you don't have enough intelligence to fight the devil on your own. You don't have enough insight to his operations. Why would you spend all this time strategically trying to figure out how the devil works and you don't even know the scripture? The Bible said you got to be like the Bereans. Study the scriptures, for in them ye think ye have life. Study to show yourself approved, a workman that need not be ashamed, rightfully dividing the word of truth. So let's spend time in the book so we can defeat the enemy, not trying to figure out what he doing. I know, I know, I'm just— this, this right here. And trust me, I've been doing this a long time. I don't read all the Derek Prince books, I don't read all the John Eckhart books. I understand their flow in warfare, but that's a lot of work when you can just rest in the Word and let God God fight for you. Oh, James said, resist the devil and he'll flee. Your greatest resistance is resting in God and say, look, I ain't gonna fight you, man, I ain't got time for that. But he's trying to pull you into the idleness so he can get the upper hand. Oh boy. All right. Go next slide so they can see it. So you got to believe in and through as well as for. So you gotta believe while you're in it, you gotta believe all the way through it, and you got to believe for the results to be in your favor. That's what caused you to rest. You believe in God, know he got you, he's your daddy. He's going to take care of you. And all the time you're going through what you're going through, you got to trust him because you know he can't lie. Sink or swim, live or die, go under, over— he cannot lie. If he said it, so shall it be. Are y'all here? Go to Hebrews 6 and 11, because watch this, you got to go all the way through. He said, we want each of you to show this same diligence to the end. So you can't quit this thing if you really want to win this battle in the middle of the process. He said, you got to go through with diligence to the end so you can realize what you hoped for. So many people die, murders, and they never inherit the promises of God. The grave is full of the promises of God. People have left this earth and took promises to the grave because they didn't endure to the very end. They got tired of waiting on God and start complaining that God was moving like an old man. He's taking his time, but he's making you what you need to be to handle what he's going to release. See, he's got to trust you with what he's going to give you, so he takes you through what you're going through so he can make sure he can trust you with the blessing. Because some people don't need to get a blessing and they still got stuff that they're dealing with, because they're going to take the blessing and deal with their habit. Are y'all hearing this? But I don't know about you, but I want it all. Say that with me. I want it all. I want it to be fully realized. What God promised, I want all of it, because it's ours. We're in his family. He's our king. Whatever he has promised is yours already. You just gotta be diligent to the very end. You don't get to wait from the left to the right. The old saints used to call it straddling the fence. Either you in or you out. Church of Laodicea. God says you're neither hot nor cold. He said you're lukewarm, and because of that, I will spew you out of my mouth. That is a place we don't want to be. We don't want to make God sick. That's really what he's saying. You make me sick when you lukewarm. He said I'll spew you. That's it. That literally means I vomit you out. I reject that, and that's not even in God's nature. But God said, I need you to make up your mind. I can handle it better if you just gonna be all the way out there. At least I know where you're at, and I ain't got to worry about you bouncing back and forth. All right, I'm almost done. Stay with me. Go to Hebrews 10. Say, I got to go all the way through. Hebrews 10:35 and 36, it says, do not throw away your confidence. So when you lose confidence, it's you that throw it away. Don't dispose of it like it's trash. Don't take lightly the fact that if you trust God Something great is coming behind that trust. The Bible said you'll be richly rewarded for this confidence. He said you need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised. So you got to persevere, which means it's not going to be easy all the time. That's the fight, is when it gets hard, continue to believe. My wife and I have been touching the ground on something she was believing God for, and, uh, I could see her getting weary about it, like, okay, whatever, this is just taking too long. I'm, I'm like, look, it's coming, just trust the Lord. It's this thing is coming. And, and I always would tell, I said, God is doing something in your faith right here. And so she, she finally just broke down and said, I'm gonna stand still and let God— I'm gonna stop worrying about it. And when she put it out of mind and let God work it, she called me today and said, guess who called me? And guess what they said? And guess what they're getting ready to do? I said, see, you have to persevere, and some things are not your fight, man. I know we feel better if we fight. I was like that growing up. I had friends that fought all the time, and they be fighting somebody, the person ain't do nothing to me, but I was going to jump in. I just couldn't take it sitting there watching everybody pass licks. And I can't get a lick in. No, I'm finna hit somebody. That's how— I mean, yeah, I'm saved and delivered now, but I'm telling you, I had to fight every day, especially if they were fighting somebody that was messing with me and that person was losing. Oh, I'm gonna kick you too. But at the end of the day, that wasn't my fight. I shouldn't have been in that fight. Are y'all hearing this? I should have just let my friend keep doing what he was doing. But God says, I don't need you to jump in. I just need you to persevere. Be confident that I'm gonna bring you out and you will be richly rewarded. Glory to God. Last scripture, and I'm gonna leave y'all alone tonight. I'm looking at some of y'all faces. And I want y'all to come back. Apostle be here tomorrow, and I promise you he gonna preach longer than me, okay? I'm just telling you, it's all right though, we love it. Philippians 1:28, there it is. Without being frightened in any way by those who oppose you. Say that with me, say, I don't fear nothing. Can I submit to you, if you are anointed and every one of you are— you have an assignment from God. David was anointed to be king, and because he was anointed, opposition came against his life. Because of who you are, that is why you are being opposed. I said it Sunday after Bishop Canada preached. I said that ownership Ownership precedes occupancy. So you got to own who you are before you occupy it. You got to own it in the heavenly realm before you occupy it in the natural realm. But then I said there could be no occupancy without opposition. You're going to be opposed. But you can't be frightened when opposition shows up. You know why? Because God knew the opposition was coming, and he already had a plan to defeat your opposer. I hate it. I see church folks, especially preachers, going back and forth on social media, just posting stuff about another preacher. It's trying to build up their following and build up their likes because people like mess. Are y'all hearing this? Well, let me tell you something. When somebody comes against you, I need you to decide tonight you're gonna rest in God. Because when you stand and you just prove that you're not fearful— and sometimes the best proof that you're not fearful is silence. Can I tell you something? Silence can never be misquoted. I'm gonna say that one more time. Silence can never be misquoted. People that's doing this all the time, they always get misquoted. But when something attacks you, sometimes you just gotta rest and be quiet. You ain't got to say something to every attack. You don't have to give attention to every opposer. That's all they want anyway. So what you gotta learn how to do is resign that God's got this, because the Bible says here, this is a sign to them that they will be destroyed. The fact that you withdrew your option to fight back and you're letting God fight for you. This is a sign to them that there's no way they can defeat you. Oh God, have mercy. I, I don't know who I'm helping tonight, maybe somebody online. The reality is there's something that's been coming after you. There's something that's been trying to stop your ministry, stop your business, stop your family. You've been up against opposition, but I heard the Lord say tonight That is a sign that you are about to win. The opposition is a sign that what you're carrying is important, that what you're carrying the world needs. Lord, I wish I could preach this like I feel it. Listen, you got to understand, the Bible says here you will be saved, and you will be saved by God. Glory to God! Somebody just shouted, I'm gonna be saved by God! So you got to rest in that fact that God's gonna show up and he's gonna reach out with his long arm and his strong hand, and he's gonna pick you up from wherever you are, and he's gonna save you. Watch this. God knows how to make the devil out of a liar. While everybody is ridiculing you, while everybody's talking about you and saying you'll never do what you're saying God is going to use you to do, God says, you just hold your peace. You just keep building, keep doing what I say, keep obeying. I'm gonna reach down with my long arm and my strong— my God— and my strong hand, and I'm gonna pick you up and deliver you. I dare you, just pull on somebody. Just pull them. Matter of fact, do this prophetically in the spirit. Grab them and just pull on them. Just pull on them and say, we're coming out, we're coming out. Say, we're gonna be healed together, we're gonna be blessed together, we're gonna be rich together, we're gonna walk in power together, we're going higher together, our enemies will be destroyed together. I dare you, shout it! I'm coming out! Oh yeah, I heard you, I heard you, I heard Diana Ross in my left ear. Glory to God! Say, I'm coming out! Y'all ain't got to say nothing here, but I need you to understand, God's about to bring you through. God's about to bring you out. God is about to do a new thing. God is about to destroy every yoke. He's about to remove burdens. He's about to make ways out of no way. I tell somebody, wrap back and shout it, I'm coming out. Oh, my God, here. Oh God, oh God, I'm telling you, the devil can't win. He's already defeated and God is exalted. The devil is a liar. We've already won. I wish I had some help here. God's about to bring you through. God has your back. Lord, I got to get out of here, but I feel my Holy Ghost cheerio. Listen, God's about to send you backup. When I think about backup, I think about an officer that's in pursuit of a crime, he gets on the radio and says, "I'm in pursuit of a 10-19 and I need backup." And before long, sirens are coming, coming from the north, coming from the south, coming from the east. Backup is on the way. I heard the Lord say, "I'm sending you backup. And before you leave this earth, the things you prayed about, you're going to see with your own eyes. So he says, don't be frightened by reports. He said, believe the report of the Lord. His report says you're healed. His report says you're strong. His report says you're going to finish your course with joy. Sickness won't take you from us. You'll leave this planet whole and healthy because the works of your hands— God says, I'm not finished. There's something your husband wanted, it's still in you. And God said, don't you give up on that because he's going to give you the strength to bring be it to pass. Father, I thank you for Mother. Thank you for this apostle, this matriarch in Zion. Let my hands be as your hands. Touch her body to heal. Yeah, I see that. And the spirit of infirmity, you cannot live here. The doctor's visits tiring her out, the constant going back and forth. But God, we thank you for healing. We thank you for healing. You said we can lay hands on the sick and they recover. She's going to say the last word and dismiss. I met Apostle Woods in 2000. I met him first over the phone in 2015. My husband was in the hospital hospital, and the doctors had said stuff, and he sung to my husband over the phone. He had the whole room in the hospital lit up, and they let him go home. And then in 2016, he was in our lives, and in 2017, he was there. He was a shoulder.

That I leaned on.

I call him my son. Now, he affirmed me, but I say he's still my son, and I love him. He was there through my husband's sickness. He was there when they put him in the ground. Plus, my son, I I love you, Apostle. That's what you call a friend, somebody that's there when you need them, and not only there when it's convenient to you. I thank you. He came to— he came after my husband passed. He came to the house one time and he said, you too saved to go to a movie? He is terrible. And the thing is, I came up in the church and said, my mind, my mind done gone. So I didn't go to movies. We didn't go to movies. We didn't go to football games. We didn't go to nothing. And I didn't But I tell you one thing, Apostle, I love the movies. I just watch what I— oh, I love my football game, but I just watch what I go to see. It's not a sin to go, just make sure what you're going to see. I thank God for you, and I thank God for my sweetheart back there playing with that, my, that, that camera. I said, Lord have mercy, am I going— what do I call her? Because I've been so used to calling her by her name, Felicia. Hey Felicia, hey Felicia, give me a hug Felicia, hey Felicia. Hey Lady Woods. For those who don't know her, wave your hand baby. Hey Lady Woods. I just want to say I enjoyed the word. And it was really— you got a little deep. You did. But yeah, we used to beat people up, I remember. But I thank God for being in your presence and for the word that you set forth as you were preaching. I told Overseer, I said, he done put 6 of the messages that I've preached in that message. I'm about to let him know. He done got— well, Lord, we don't want a car, but I praise God for you. Uh, we've been planning to get to your service because I said, well, we need somebody to pour into us. That's what she say. And I don't let everybody preach to me. I don't do it. However, I'm gonna tell you what I said. You know I'm not a liar. I said, I ain't getting up going to church 9 o'clock. I ain't getting up there, be over there at 9 o'clock in the morning. I'm just cooking breakfast. So we decided to come at night. But I thank God for your word. Thank God for you praying for me. A lot of people don't realize the anointing that rests upon you. Amen. He prayed for my husband in ICU, and the folk want to put us out, and they just said, just shut the door. Y'all got a dynamite right here. They shut the door, and the nurses just came and shut the door to the room my husband was in because he refused to leave. He was on the God's mission. So I thank God for you.

And I'm one of them prophets that's a private prophet. I like to sit in the back, don't like nobody to talk to me or nothing. And here he come bothering me and stuff, right? So in 2014, December of 2014, he had a service called December to Remember.

You remember that?

You remember that? Yeah, you was all in my business. And let me tell you what he did. The Lord made me dress in all black. With white shoes. It ain't no coincidence that you got on black and white today, right? The Lord made me dress in all black that night and white shoes, and that young man said, you are walking out of a dead place. He spoke to me and he said that this next year— and it's going to be about 15 days from now— that things are going to be shifting in my life, right? He said, "But this next year is going to be your BYE, your best year ever." You remember that, Woods? From that day to this day, I ain't been hungry, I ain't been in the dark, I ain't been sleepless. I done had all kind of stuff come up against me, but nothing has went crazy. And that year was my best year yet. Can I tell you something? I know you. Didn't we go to school together? Right, I don't— but I don't know you like that, right? Take his word to the bank, woman of God, and soar and live on eagle's wings. But I'm going to tell you, you got to clip some of the people that's in your circle. They don't mean you no good. They don't like you, and they don't want you to soar. They don't want you to be alive. They don't want you to teach the children like God told you to teach the children.

And so I'm not going to keep doing that. I'm going to just let the man have what he had. I just wanted to bear witness to the Prophet that's in that man of God.
