This Month | Dr Mike Woods Sr | Radah Church | 11 JUNE 23

Dr. Mike Woods Sr uses Exodus 12:2 to declare June a spiritual "new year" for believers. He teaches a four-part framework for fulfilling your purpose: gift, people, place, and season. Woods emphasizes letting go of the past, aligning your thoughts with God's through "hyper-echo," and taking massive, consistent action toward your assignment.
Chapters
I never want to be where God was. I always want to be where he is. Amen. Amen. And I'm telling you, God stops coming in this room, I'm not coming back. And the only thing that guarantees him showing up is worship. So we must be very deliberate in our opportunity to worship him. Amen. Uh, amen. Amen. I don't know what you want to do that week, y'all didn't talk to me. You don't talk to me, I'm gonna think you're not listening, and it's gonna mean we're gonna be here about 4 hours because I'm gonna keep talking to you, talk back. So anyway, all right, Exodus 12:2. Glory to God, there's a word from the Lord. Now I just want— I'm gonna be very quick and extemporary. Extemporaneous today, uh, but I'm gonna prophetically plow through this one verse because I believe we're at a juncture, we're at a place, I believe, where God wants to reignite our stand in this year in a different way. I think a lot of people are stuck. Yes, not just in here, but those watching. Y'all help me welcome to that watching live, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter. They watching everywhere today. I think people are stuck. People are trying to figure it out. They don't know how to get from where they are to where God has designed them to be. And I want to help us today understand that God really has a destination. We talked about this last month, the dial of destiny. Touch yourself and say, I got a destination. Now look at somebody else, say, I'm going somewhere. I need you to understand that your life was not designed to not progress. It was designed to progress. Your life was designed to move forward. Touch yourself and say, "Forward." When I was in the military, there was a command called "Forward march," and that meant go forward. You better not be caught standing still or going the other way. There was a penalty for that because you were really disobeying a direct order of the person giving the order to move forward. Can I tell you something? God has given us an order as his people, as a church, as the body of Christ, to move forward. So many times we get stuck in yesterday. But the apostle Paul— matter of fact, before we go to Exodus, uh, 12, go to Philippians 3 real quick. Can I just teach this with the Holy Ghost today? Yes, sir. Philippians 3. Glory to the name of God. And, and the Bible says— let's start in verse 8. It says, yea, doubtless I count all things but loss— watch this— for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ my Lord. So if you want to gain knowledge in God, if you want the knowledge that you get in God to be excellent and above and beyond what you've ever experienced, there's some things you got to give up. Amen. There's some, watch this, voices that you gotta release from your ear. A lot of times we don't have excellency. We can have knowledge of God, but it is not the, the scripture here says excellency, which is, watch this, hyper-echo, which means in a hyper, it's two words, hyper and echo. That's the Greek word, but you put it together, it means an echo on steroids. So that means every time you go to think something, God's thoughts interrupt your thoughts. Are y'all hearing this? And you start doing what he says. Come on. That's the ex— that means you have no brains when you got the excellence of Jesus's knowledge working in your life, which means your mind is gone and he's thinking through you. Watch this. Your mind— your actions are just an echo of what he's thinking. Wow. Jesus even displayed this while he was on earth. Somebody asked me, they said, what are you doing? He said, I'm doing what I see my Father think. He was operating in hyper echo. He did not move until the Father thought it. And so many times we move in our life, we make decisions without consulting what's on God's mind. A lot of times it keeps us stuck. Because we keep going around in circles, and God never called us to go in circles. So something— I know it sounds good in your ear, but some things you just gotta let go and dismiss it from your ear. Amen. Oh boy, I want the echo of God. I want some— I want a voice that's above my own voice. I want knowledge that's above my own knowledge constantly pouring into me. Yes. Oh boy, God, watch this. He said, for whom I suffer the loss of all things. Wait a minute. He said, I also count not just a loss, but I count it dung. Y'all know what dung is, right? Uh, the proper term is skai-bolon in Greek. It literally means doo-doo. Okay, that's what it is. It's feces. Okay, he said you need to count it all dung. You know that stuff flies. Fly around. The stuff you change on baby girl when she do number 2. What do you do with that? When you change it, you ball that paper up and you throw it in the trash. The only use for dung is trash. So that means the voices you dismiss, the knowledge you dismiss, you gotta throw it away. Yes, sir. It's not God's fault if you keep answering the phone or keep responding to the text. Oh boy, it's not God's fault you keep turning on that same song that gets you stirred up or brings back that memory. God says you got to count that as loss. Now you, you can straddle the fence, but you'll never have the excellency of his knowledge. Okay, yeah. Okay, all right, let's keep moving. He said, watch this, why am I doing that? That I may win Christ. Someone's like, I already got Jesus. According to the apostle, this is the Apostle Paul talking, and he's saying I gotta count this loss. He was a wealthy man, he was a man of royal stature, he come from a royal tribe. He, he counted all that loss. So that he can replace Christ with what those things were to him. Some of us are emotionally attached to things that we have to let go. The only soul tie is not a sexual soul tie. That's right, it's a tie of the soul. So you can have a soul tie with someone or some entity and not have relations with them. You can have a soul tie to your family. Yep. Oh boy, and your family is not pursuing the excellency of God. Not saying not love them, but what you have to do is create distance. Come on, because you can't allow their voice to be the sounding board that's pushing you where you're trying to go. Because they ain't trying to go either. That's right. So you have to distance yourself. Jesus, he— again, I love Jesus. He gives us a great example of all the stuff he tells us to do. He was teaching and his mama came to the door and told one of the disciples, go in there and tell Jesus, come out here, I want to talk to him. Disciple came, told Jesus, he said, wait a minute now. Who is my mama? Who is my father? Who's my sister, my brother? Them that do the will of God. In other words, if they want me, they'll be in here with me. We can't be so emotionally attached to people that when they walk out of our life— hear this— then we chase them. The Bible says this, and I've been living this for 30 years, man. Because I, I decided I was never going to chase another person that left my life because that's too hurtful, especially when you chase them and they still don't come back. So the Bible says this— I stand on this— the Bible said if they were for us, no doubt they would not have left us. And by virtue of the fact that they left us is proof that they're not for us. So when people walk out, that's a sign to me, okay, well, they just weren't for us. They weren't a part of the tribe. They are not supposed to roll with me. So at the end of the day, I don't get up and out of shape. I don't start running behind people because that's not who I am. That's not what God told me to do. My life is so destined, I trust God enough that every person that's supposed to be beside me or in my circle, he's gonna put them there. Amen. And they're gonna know they're supposed to be there. Are you okay? This is too much? Okay, I'm gonna get to Exodus 12. Okay, okay, praise God. Let me go back to Exodus 12, make you feel a little more comfortable. Glory to God. I was in the mountains last week, glory to God, and I'm telling you, I had some time with the Lord. I'm just— beautiful mountains all around. I was way above sea level. The Bible says, it's Exodus 12:2. Y'all ready? Yes, sir. It says, this month. Somebody say, this month. This month. And notice, I want to make this really clear that this is very practical because when he says, this month, kodish in Hebrew, On the Hebrew calendar, June would be significant to Kodesh. So he's actually talking about this month, June. So we hit this middle of the year. God is speaking to us that this month— watch this— shall be a beginning of the month. Wow. In other words, happy New Year in the middle of the year. In other words, God's saying, I'm giving you an opportunity for this to be the first month of the year to you. Touch yourself, say Happy New Year to me. Happy New Year to me. Those who watching, type that in the comments. People might think you're crazy, but just type Happy New Year. Glory to God. It ain't January 1st, it ain't even June 1st, it's June— what, 11th? That's all right, we'll take it. Glory to God, we're still in June. Say happy new year to me. I would have told y'all this last week because God started giving me this word last week, but I'd be remiss not to give you the whole thing. I gave a little clip of it when we were flying down to Seattle, but this month God is starting something. Oh God, somebody, somebody say go ahead and start it, God. See, I receive what you're doing. Say, and in the name of Jesus, say, this month shall be the beginning of extraordinary things, of extravagant things, say, of excellent things. I need you to receive that. I'm talking about for the rest of this year and for the rest of your life. Extravagant, excellent, extraordinary. Just touch yourself again and say extravagant, extraordinary, excellent. Say, I receive all three. I receive all three. Now, in order to get that, here we go. And again, I'm just going to prophetically plow through this the way the Lord gave it to me. The first thing that has to happen You got to retool. Somebody say retool. Retooling means that you're taking inventory of the tools you've been using, and if they have not been working, you need to pick up some more tools. Because if you keep using the same tools Clearly that tool is not getting you the result you need to manifest what God wants to manifest in your life, so you need to retool. You need another tool. Okay, so a lot of times we're stuck because God is saying this calls for a screwdriver and you're using a hammer. Or you're using pliers, you're making your job a whole lot harder than it needs to be because you're not using the right tool, which means you got to retool. You gotta go get a screwdriver, and you'll discover it's going to make things a whole lot easier. Retooling also involves preparation. Some things we've stepped into we have not prepared for. Some things we put our hands on, we're not ready for. But watch this, preparation time is never wasted time. Preparation, préparer, which means you prepare or create the details in advance. Pre, you do it in advance, not start doing it and then prepare. You prepare before you get started. Okay, let's go to Proverbs real quick. Let's go to Proverbs, um, well, I think 3. Yeah, Proverbs— no, Proverbs 6 says this. It says, go to the ant. And a little small thing, right? Well, he's exceedingly wise. Thou sluggard, consider our ways and be wise. The ant prepares in summer for winter. The ant gathers their food, gets everything together in the summertime before the winter comes. They don't wait till the winter come and go out and start trying to get food because they know it'll kill them. So they prepare in advance to get what they need in the wintertime. Can I tell you something? As you retool, you must embrace the preparation necessary to accomplish what God has purposed for your life. It's not going to happen without preparation. There's a lot of people out here, I'm telling you, doing stuff and they haven't been prepared. They're doing stuff saying, 'I'm anointed.' They're not prepared. Trust me, I believe in the anointing more than anybody, but you can be an anointed fool. You can be an anointed idiot who has no preparation. Who— watch this— you can be an anointed person that has no balance, and the only place you can operate is in the church. There's something wrong with that. Something wrong with that. If the only place I can be me is in here I need to be able to exist. I need to be able to sit down with kings and presidents and have an intelligent conversation because I'm prepared to do that. I can't sit with King and be speaking in tongues the whole time. Joe Biden put me out the White House, I go in the White House talking in tongues the whole time we have the meeting, and then he's gonna say, Secret Service, why did y'all let this crazy man up in the White House. That's not the place for that, right? But you got some people in the name of the anointing would think, I'm going to go up in the White House and talk in tongues. No, you're going to get kicked out. So you got to retool so you operate with balance. Retooling deals with preparation. Secondly, watch this. Y'all got that? Okay, because I can stay right there if y'all want me to stay. I'm gonna move though. Y'all got it? Okay. Second thing you gotta do, you gotta refresh. Say refresh. Refresh. Often if you're using a computer, the screen can get stuck sometimes if you're on a bad Wi-Fi, or even use the internet connection. Sometimes just sites on the other end, they don't communicate well, they get stuck. Well, there's a little circle with an arrow at the end of it on the top of your screen. It's called a refresh button. Once you click that button, what it does, it reloads the data so your screen will move. What God is asking us in this month, in the middle of the year, is to hit the refresh button. It's to be honest about where we're stuck. So you can't refresh— see, if I sit and look at a stuck screen and never hit the refresh button and don't just accept This site ain't gonna load, I need to hit the refresh button. But if I stay committed to the site trying to load on its own without me hitting the refresh button, guess what? I'll be there a while because I didn't accept reality. You can't refresh until you accept reality. We can't operate in a deceptive place What we believe was something we're not. We operate in these fantasies and ideas that God did not gain. Listen, God has a real plan for you, and it's a good one. In fact, go to Jeremiah 29:11. Say, God has a plan for me. And say, I receive every part of it. Hallelujah. The Bible says, watch this, for I know the thoughts I think toward you. Y'all know this scripture, right? So the word thoughts is m'chavash in Hebrew. It literally means, I know the designs and the plans, the dreams that I've dreamed for you. So God is not only thinking about you, but he's dreamed about you to the— to this end, that he wants what he dreamed to actually happen. Touch yourself, say, God's thinking about me. Somebody watching this, type it in the comments and say, God is thinking about me. He's thinking about you. That's big, y'all, to know that God really is thinking about you. I mean, just think about how upset you get when you want somebody to be thinking about you that's not. Let me help you. Who cares if they're not thinking about you, right? Long as he's thinking about you, and long as your life is in his hands, that's all that matters. And he says, I know what I'm thinking. And we be thinking down on ourselves, but you gotta hit that refresh button and tap into what he thinking. We be thinking we're not enough. Oh boy. But God says, I know what I'm thinking toward you, which means in Hebrew, I'm throwing this dream at you. Toward means I'm thinking it and I'm pushing it in your life. You just gotta open up and receive. He said, these are thoughts of peace Shalom in Hebrew, which is not the absence of confusion, but peace is the presence of assistance. He said, I'm thinking about assisting you, which means you ain't in this by yourself. What I plan, what I'm thinking, what I'm dreaming, you ought to have peace because I'm gonna help you get it done. Touch your belly and say, he's gonna help me get it done. Hallelujah. I told y'all, y'all don't talk to me, we'll be about 3 more hours. He said thoughts of peace and not of evil. The word evil is ra in Hebrew, injury. He said what I'm thinking about ain't gonna injure you. What I'm thinking about will not hurt you. Oh we, oh we, oh we, we. So God said what I have for you is not designed to bring any hurt to your life. If it injures you— watch this— I question whether it was God. Amen. Because God says, my thoughts for you are not injury. I've heard people say, oh, he hit me, he just loved me. How did— what in the world? What in the ham sandwich is that? He hits you in the head but he loves you? No, he doesn't love you. God is love. God doesn't promote violence against women from men. Oh God, that's evil. And God says, I want to give you an expected end, something you can look forward to, something you can dream about that's coming for real. Somebody say, for real. You gotta reach out, you gotta refresh. And then thirdly, I'm getting to this verse, you gotta revive. That means if it's dead, you got to speak life to it. And everything dead, you got to kick it out. The psalmist said, revive us again, O God. I challenge you during this June month, this month, to speak to God and say, revive us again, O God. Because if it's dead, the only person can bring it back to life is the power of God, because he holds death and life in his hand. The things that need to live, bring them to life. The things that need to stay dead, keep them dead. But you got to revive only that that needs to be revived. Hallelujah. Some of us holding on to stuff God's trying to take, and that never works out. Because when you have purpose and destiny on your life, you cannot carry things that can't go, that weren't designed to go. Because as long as you're trying to carry them, watch this, you're creating delays. Come on. Something that should have took 6 months takes 6 years because you're carrying a 6-year problem, a 6-year person that you got to release. You cannot take them with you. Sometimes— and watch this— when you make decisions with incision that have precision? Nope. It hurts because every incision is going to hurt when you cut something away. But what you have to rejoice in is that this decision is precise, man. It's what God wants me to do. It's accurate. I just— I accept it. There's some people I love, but they cannot go where I'm going. Listen, I learned this real quick a long time ago. When people don't have a revelation of you, they'll violate you. I'm gonna say that again. When people do not have a revelation of you, they will violate you. The reason why you experience violation, because that person didn't understand who you were. And when people don't understand who you are and you have not been revealed to them, You need to let them go because they're going to violate you every time. Your value— hear me— has to be rooted in what God says you are. And a regular person who's not spiritual— watch this— they cannot have a revelation of you if they don't know God. They gotta speak to God about who you are because you gotta demand to not just be recognized but revealed. I got some family members, they have no idea who I am. Wow. I leave them in their recognition. I handle them from their recognition because I can't make them get a revelation. They must choose to gravitate to the place or matriculate to the place where they get a revelation of who I am. I will spend my whole life trying to get them to value me. I just determined I don't need it. So I live with an audience of one. I went through something this past week. My wife lost her father. Uh, we were there, uh, to support my wife, and I'm telling you, it's a blessing. To see all these great and wonderful things said about this man. He was an amazing man. But I realized something. I'm a whole apostle, a whole one, for real. Okay, for real. A whole apostle. 3 churches, 34 years of ministry, a whole apostle. Over 180 sons and daughters. Come on. Not one person asked me to do anything at this funeral. Wow. At first, my flesh wanted to be offended. I said, wait a minute, you a whole apostle, dude, what is going on here? Now my wife, y'all pray for her because she was a little different. She said something to the people. I was quiet. But let me tell you something. God spoke to me. He said, you can't make people have a revelation of you. He said, you gotta count it joy that you are who you are. He said, at the end of the day, if they don't see your value, it ain't your loss, it's their loss. And what you do is you just keep being the apostle I called you to be, whether they celebrate you or not. And then he hit me in the head with this. He said, don't you know I was on the earth and I came to my own and my own received me not? I was despised and rejected of men. So what you think is gonna happen to you and you carrying the same mantle I'm carrying? I straightened up, dried my tears, said, God, I'm good. I went to church, my wife sung the house down, I danced with her in the funeral, I supported her, and I was just as happy as I could be. Because at the end of the day, I know who I am. What am I saying to you? You got to know who you are. You got to revive your identity. You got to be clear on who you are. Stop living under the definition of what other people say you are. Most of the time we're defining ourselves by other people's revelation of us when we should be defining ourselves by what God says. Amen. You gotta choose to live for the audience of one. And when you know who you are, know who he is, and you line up with that, you don't care nothing about private conversations. You don't care what people talking about when you ain't around. All you concerned with is what you talking about with him. Because that, you know, when people chatter about you, that's a good thing. That means you're doing something right. If folks ain't talking about you, you ain't doing that right. You need some folks to be talking about you, and you need to count it all joy that your name on their lips. Glory to God. So Pastor Jasper, you watching this, man, stand up and shout right now, because at the end of the day, you have to rejoice when people are having things they feel like they need to say about you when you ain't around. Yeah, okay, I'm almost done. So I gotta revive. Come on, say I gotta revive. So I gotta refresh. I gotta retool. Now here's the prophetic flow that God is pushing us into. This is the beginning of the year. This is what's about to happen. The first thing, and I want you to write it down, is going to be a clarity of assignments. God said this is the beginning of months, and God's about to give you clarity regarding assignment. Touch your belly and say, I'm about to get clear about my assignment. Let me tell you what it is really quick. Your assignment is your problem you were created to solve. Everybody in this room was created to solve a problem. So your particular assignment is the problem you were created to solve. Can I tell you this? Write this down. You'll be remembered for one or two things: the problems you create or the problems you solve. And you just gotta decide that you're gonna be a problem solver. Y'all, y'all listening online? You're gonna be remembered for one or two things: the problems you create or the problems you solve. And you've got to decide whether you're gonna solve problems or make them. So you have to discover your assignment. Watch this. Thank you, Lord. Your assignment is never your decision, it's always your discovery. You don't decide it. You discover what he already decided. Glory to Jesus. So that— you can't just make up an assignment in the kingdom. A whole lot of them do it. They're creating assignments that God didn't call them to. I said in the beginning, I never want to be where God was. I'm going to be where he is. He's always in the assignment. You know why? Because it's not your assignment, it's actually his assignment that he's using you to perform. You're only a vessel. Matter of fact, your assignment is an indicator that you are God's delivery system in the earth. You were born to deliver a package. You're— I mean, I don't know if I should say this, but Amazon, FedEx, UPS, USPS. I think my favorite out of all of them is USPS. That's what my wife retired from. And not just because she retired from— but you know what I can depend on with the post office? It's gonna come. It's gonna get there. They're gonna make sure you get your package. I don't have to chase FedEx, UPS, Amazon. I don't have to chase them for stuff all the time. Let me tell you something about God. He don't want to have to chase you for the package that's in your belly that you got to deliver in the earth to the humans that's dependent on you to deliver this package. You gotta birth this thing. I heard that, God. You gotta get out of the waiting room into the delivery room and give birth to your blessing. See, some of the things you want are— you, you're overdue. And this month, God says your water has broken, and you got to get out of this waiting room and get in the delivery room and start pushing this baby out. You gotta push this assignment out because somebody needs what's in you. That's precisely what your assignment is. It says somebody needs you. As a matter of fact, your assignment is an indicator that you're a life jacket to somebody drowning. Find them and give them what's in your belly. Glory to God! I don't want to die until I get everything out of me that I'm supposed to birth out of me in this earth. When I go— I was in my, uh, Father-in-law's funeral and listen to all these wonderful things that were being said about him. The man died empty. He gave everything he had in him to this world before he left it. We ought to want to die empty. We don't want to take none of this assignment to the grave, because I'd like to be in on that conversation with you and God at the gates. And he said, okay, well, you stop cussing, you stop drinking, you stop smoking weed and reefer, you, you stop hoeing, you, you stop being a homosexual, lesbian, you stopped all that. But what about this assignment? I, I, I, I want to have that discussion with him because that's sin too. Because sin, hermeneutics in Greek, is missing the mark. It ain't just the stuff we obviously see. It's not birthing the assignment. It's sin. You're coming short. So you gotta— again, that's why you got to retool. Take an inventory of the stuff you've been doing and say, okay, I got to start doing the right thing so I can get this thing out of my belly. Are y'all with me? Yes, sir. Say assignment. Every assignment has a lot of elements to it, but I'm gonna give you just 4 really right here. I don't know, because I start— if I start this, I'll be here all day. Every assignment, number 1, has a present. P-R-E-S-E-N-T, like a gift at Christmas. It has a gift, has a present. Who likes gifts? I love Christmas. It's my favorite time of year. I don't like it 'cause I get stuff, I like it 'cause I get to give stuff. The reality is people love gifts. I love to see people smile when they get gifts. My mama was a big Christmas person. Christmas time was like Jesus himself was gonna get born again for real. I mean, it was festive, it was everything. So she made it big, and so it stayed with me. But the present part of it means that somebody loves you enough to give you something you could use. Wow, she gave me at Christmas everything I would ever ask for. She also gave me a lot of stuff I needed and didn't really care about opening, like socks, underwear, shoes, clothes. My kid, you could have just— You ain't even have to wrap that up. But the reality is she loved me enough to know you don't just need a toy, you need clothes. My children, same way. That's my oldest son, Michael Jr. He understands that Christmas, he always gets things. He almost 30. No different now. The reality is God gave us all a gift. Touch your belly and say, I got a gift. So I got a present in me. I'm telling you right now, you are gifted. You are a gift to somebody. Somebody needs you, and you got to use the gift that's in you. I'm trying to take— well, you better say, I got some gifts, and they didn't come from some mediocre person. You know, I give good gifts. Glory to God, I like giving good gifts. Amen. The Bible said you reap what you sow, right? So if I give good gifts, that's harvest that come back. It may not come back from the person I give it to, but it comes from somewhere. So I give with that mentality. God is the best gift giver ever. First he gave his son so you get saved. Then he turned around and gave gifts to men in the apostle, the prophet, the pastor, the teacher, the evangelist. Then he turned around and gave us gifts of the Spirit. He gave us anointings and innovation and creativity. All this stuff is in us. Say, I gotta give. Come on, y'all. Okay, just, yeah, I gotta give. Look at somebody and say, you got it. Tell them, now use it. 'Cause you don't have it to not use. So every assignment has a gift because your gift is important to the assignment. Secondly, every assignment has people. There are people that need what's in you. The very fact that your heart is beating is an indicator that you're still necessary in this earth, that there are still people on this planet that need what's on the inside of you. Say people. People. You gotta find the people. And what God will do as you embark upon the assignment, he'll start placing people in your world that can be impacted by what's inside of you. And guess what you have to do when they show up? The Bible said freely you have received the gift, freely you give it. So I can't charge you for prophecy. Manasseh, Bernard. I can't charge you for prophecy. I'm calling names because they charge for prophecy. That, that's not— freely I receive, freely I give. That's what psychics do. They sell words. They, they sell words for money. That's not what we're doing in the kingdom. For every real, there's a phony. And you got to decide you're going to be authentic to your assignment and give it away without cost. Because guess what? If you go in the vineyard and work, the Bible says, I'm a witness, what's right, I'll pay. Which means if you go in the video and really work, God says, I'll pay you for the work you do. I'd rather get paid by God That man. Listen, I never got a check that was drawn on the bank of heaven. However, I've got a lot of checks that heaven influenced because I was doing the work. So you gotta work for him. Say people. Every assignment has people. Thirdly, every assignment has places. Geographical locations that you have to plug into to do two things. Number one, fulfill your assignment, and number two, be trained and developed to do your assignment. So geography is important to assignment. Where you are is just as important as who you are. My wife is a great baker, a great cook. And I'm trusting God that she's going to come in agreement with me and we're going to open this bakery because that's going to be a whole nother stream. And when that happens, the most important thing is we got to be in the right place, right? Because where you are is just important as what you can do. If we opened a bakery and she in the wrong place where people won't buy the cakes, buy the cupcakes, buy the cookies, Lord, I just said everything that's making people unhealthy, Jesus. I might have to edit this out because I don't know how that's helpful. But at the end of the day, it's helpful because when I eat the stuff, it brings me joy. Glory to God. Although I shouldn't eat it, it brings me a lot of joy. Uh, anyway, say, where I am is just as important as who I am. You can be the best singer in the world in the wrong place. I tell Pastor Daze all the time, it's unfortunate you in Mississippi. He was talking to me one time about moving to Texas. Uh-uh, no, it's the place. This is the place right here. So, but if he was somewhere else, the 10 years he'd been leading the ministry would look totally different. 'Cause certain regions have no celebration for certain moves of God. So you got to be where you're supposed to be. Listen, I've been offered places. Just 2 years ago, somebody offered me— Pastor had passed on, church had 3,800 members. God knows, but what I know, I could have took 3,800 members and made it 6,000 members in a year. But that wasn't the place. I had to listen to God. Say, okay, well, God, should I take this? He said, no. I didn't even argue with him. I said, okay, good. Well, we gonna stay in the place you got us. Because every opportunity is not an assignment. So many times we jump at opportunities that we haven't been assigned to, and then when the anointing doesn't work inside of that opportunity We say, God, well, why you want with me? Or we go through hell in that opportunity. Yes, come on. Everything that glitters, there you go, it's not gold. Listen, there's a 40-year-old man that can be good to your 15-year-old daughter. But doesn't mean he's good for her. Everything that can be good to you ain't good for you. So you got to be in the place that you're supposed to be in. Are y'all hearing me? So every assignment— say assignment. Say it has presence, has people, has places. Fourthly, every assignment has periods. Seasons and dispensations. Proverbs 3 said, to everything under heaven there is a time and there's a season. Every assignment is going to have good days, but I want to tell you, it's going to be some bad days too. Yes, sir. There's going to be some things that show up— watch this— that God will allow to challenge your faith. Because guess what? Your faith must stand trial. The Bible said the trying of your faith works patience. But I said, let patience have a perfect work, being entire, lacking nothing. So God will send your assignment through seasons of challenge to teach you patience. To teach you endurance. Watch this, to give you an appreciation of God's help. Sometimes God will bother you to make you better. I'll say it again, sometimes I wonder why you keep bothering me, I thought I was good. But he keeps showing up, he keeps bothering me. That means there's more. That means there's another dimension, there's another place. So he keeps bothering you, disrupting things in your life so he can make you better. So in every assignment there's seasons, there are good days, there are bad days. Here are two things about a season, I want you to write it down. Number one, you cannot start a season. I'll say it again, you cannot start a season. Zoom in real close on me for those watching. Junior, you cannot start a season no matter how bad you want a husband, no matter how bad you want a church, no matter how bad you want a business. You can't start a season. Watch this. As hot as it is, I love winter. I would love to be able to start winter. I can't do it. I can go out here and say, in the name of Jesus, I decree and declare that winter beat now. Someone's gonna look at me and say, no, buddy, not yet. You can't start it. I listen, I think about the civil rights movement. They had sit-ins, they marched on Washington, marched on Alabama. But you can't start a season before it's time. If God says that your people is going to be in bondage for 400 years, that's what he means. So you can have sit-ins, shut-ins, marches, you can have speeches, I Have a Dream, you can go through the whole motion, but the season won't change until it's supposed to. Again, I thank God for the movement. It just wasn't a season. And when the season came, things broke. You can't start a season. Matter of fact, you ought to always want to be where you are. Just look at someone and say, always be where you are. Because that's a good place, man. It's honest. Watch this, God honors your present state and your honesty concerning where you are so he can grow you to the next level. Watch this. You will never be promoted— thank you, Lord— until you become overqualified for your present position. Oh God, I'm teaching and y'all ain't saying nothing, but it's okay. Uh-oh. I hope y'all getting this. You'll never overcome where you are until you become overqualified for it. You gotta outgrow where you are. Listen, I'm trusting God that before we buy our building cash, that we're gonna have— that we ain't gonna be able to get in here. I don't even have a building to seat 1,500 people now, right? What sense do that make? Let's fill this one up to capacity. Let's make it where people trying to get in here. What's this? We become overqualified for this space because we outgrew it. Yeah. So see, every assignment— come on— every assignment has presents, gifts, people, places, periods, seasons. And this— watch this— second thing about season, I love this one. You can't stop a season. You cannot stop a season. Can't start one, but you can't stop one either. So when it's your time, it's just your time. When the Lord says it's your time to be promoted, it's your time to be blessed, it's your time to come out, no matter what they do, they can't stop it. They can talk about you behind your back. They can lie on you. The witches can work, burn candles all night. They can sprinkle goopy dust, throw bones around your house. It doesn't matter what they do. They can write chain letters. But when is your season? And God says it's your time to be blessed. Baby, it's your time. Can I prophesy to you right here? No more dry season. I say to you right now, in this month, your season has changed. Your day has come. It's a new moment. It's a new hour. God's about to do what you thought could never ever be done. He's about to blow your mind. I guess somebody shout, I receive it! Holy Ghost! Yeah, so every— so this month, say assignment. This one also, there has to be— because so there'll be clarity of assignment. Secondly, there has to be consistent action. God said, as you reset, retool, and refresh and revive, God said, I need you to have consistent action. He's saying you can't just be a hearer— come here, James— of the word. He said you got to be a doer of what you hear. Listen to me, the Lord is saying you got to take massive action every day. This is the beginning of March. You cannot procrastinate another day. That means there is nothing that will occur to stop you from taking action. Somebody say massive action. That means against all odds, every time you open your eyes, you're gonna take action. Some people will never grow bigger, they'll always be stuck because they think something's gonna fall out of the sky. Information and revelation— you get all the revelation you want, but information and revelation without application is constipation. Constipation means you're stuck. You can study the Bible, you can study encyclopedias, you can study lexicons, you can go to Bible college, but if you don't apply what you know, you're just stuck. You're just straining. It's hard to get out. But God said, this month I want you to take a spiritual laxative, and I want you to take some action and get moving. Every person needs a map, a M-A-P, a massive action plan. When you leave here today, I want you to create a map, a massive action plan, and identify how you gonna take action every day toward your dream, toward your goals, toward God's desire for your life. Somebody shout action! And that's what God is looking for. He's looking for kingdom citizens that will move with action. Gone are the days where we're just lazy eating the word and getting fat on the word. You guys supposed— I mean, I'm talking, we are obese on the Bible. We got more Bible coming at us these days and times than any day. You can pick up your phone any time of the day and get a word. Just go to YouTube, find your favorite preacher, and press play. We have access to information like never before, but it's not enough to have the information. God said this month I want you to rise up in action. Somebody shout action! Consistent, massive action. And then thirdly, and I'm going, he says this month shall be the beginning of months for you. It shall be— oh my God! Oh my God, a time of committed acceptance. God said, I'm committed to accepting you where others have rejected you, where others have pushed you away. God says, I need you to know my love is complete for you. And I believe that's why God took me into that worship song, uh, today, saying, yes, Jesus loves me. Old Sunday school song, but it means so much because I want you to know you've been accepted in the Beloved. I don't care who overlooks you, I don't care who rejected you, I don't care how small our church is right now. I need you to understand that we stay committed to God. He has accepted us. He makes us accept what he told us to do, and as long as we're obedient, he's gonna push us to where we need to be. I tell you, touch yourself and say, I am accepted. There are so many people that are trying to get accepted. They go to bed at night worrying about who liked their picture, like, who liked their post. The devil is a liar. God has accepted us. If you never like my pictures, if you never like what I post, I already know that I've been accepted. I know what he's planned for me. Lord, I got to get out of here. Somebody shout this one. This month I have an assignment to finish this year strong. This month, glory to God, I have an action plan and I'm gonna take action until I see results. Can I tell you something? You ought not stop taking action until you see results. Somebody shout results, results, results! That's what I want to see. And you got to start Part of your action plan should be how you talk. Yes, sir. You need to start saying it until you see it. You need to say I'm healed until you see healing. Say I'm rich until your bank account fills up. You got to say it until you see it. If you go to Genesis chapter 1, you will see, and God said And God said, and God said. You keep going all the way down to about the 20th verse, then it says, and God saw. He said it until he saw it. You have the Creator living in you. You're accepted. He hasn't changed his mind about you. He loves you. I know I can make it. I know I can stand no matter what comes my way. I'm accepted by him. My life is in his hands. Stand up. I'm tired.
