True Worship | Apostle Mike Woods | 22 June 2025

In this live sermon, Apostle Mike Woods delivers a charismatic, exhortative teaching on the nature of true worship. He argues that worship should precede requests, emphasizing that seeking God’s kingdom first leads to divine provision, while treating God as a “sugar daddy” is misguided. Woods repeatedly references biblical narratives—especially Abraham’s obedience and sacrifice—to illustrate how history with God becomes a foundation for future promises, urging listeners to view past divine acts as evidence of future fulfillment (“it came to pass”). He introduces the concept of “macro‑graphing” God, meaning to engraft God into every facet of life so that no part operates apart from Him. The sermon stresses that trials are opportunities to become “ads” for Christ, measuring spiritual maturity by how one handles adversity. Youthful, higher‑level worship is encouraged, calling believers to abandon immaturity and embrace deeper, sacrificial worship. A substantial portion of the service consists of collective prayer and declarations, including specific healing proclamations for physical ailments (high blood pressure, diabetes, arthritis, neurological conditions) and for children with autism, as well as declarations of prosperity, protection, and divine favor. The overall tone is fervent, persuasive, and invitational, aiming to move the congregation from passive listening to active, heartfelt worship that extends beyond the church walls.

So we thank you that the word is not abusive, it's not designed to injure, it's designed to edify and build us and heal us and catapult us forward. And so Father, may your word push us forward. Past the pain, past the brokenness, past the hurt, past the disappointment, past our history. And we give you praise for it now.

Um, had all my stuff ready for that and the Lord said, no, I want you to talk about this. And it's going to be very short Lord, and it's really a word from the Lord. Amen. Glory to God. John 4, verse 23. Glory to God. The Bible says, but the hour cometh, and now is— say now. Say it again. Say now. When the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth.
For the Father seeketh such to worship him.
Verse 24: God is a spirit, and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. I'm gonna read those two verses again because it's just all right to read the Bible, and we're gonna run.
But the hour cometh, and now is—
somebody say now— now when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth. For the Father seeketh such to worship him him. God is a spirit, verse 24, and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. So far the scripture. And today I just want to talk for a few moments about true worship. Real simple, nothing deep. I want to talk about true worship. And the first thing I feel compelled to do is create a contrast between worship and idolatry, right? Because a lot of times what the church calls worship borderlines, if not is idolatry. All right, I'm gonna say that again. Glory to God. A lot of times what the church calls worship, it is either sitting on the line of idolatry or it actually is idolatry. You know why? Because what we tend to do is worship worship.
Mm-hmm. Especially those of us that feel like we've tapped in and we're better than the mainline denominational churches and we do something.
So we feel like we worship and we better than everybody else. And what we begin to do is worship, worship. We start worshiping that process because— can I commit to you that I've been into some mainline Pentecostal churches, some Baptist churches that had more fire than some of these charismatic churches, that had more glory than some of them that had the process down.
They sung hymns, had a choir, glory came, people got healed. Y'all ain't got to say nothing. Miracles happen. God was worshiped.
So it's not so much how you get to the destination, it's keeping focus on the destination.
Are y'all hearing this? God is the destination.
If you start worshiping the process of worship, now you've tapped into idolatry because you're worshiping a system. people will—
I mean, they'll choose where they assemble based on the—
matter of fact, there are ministries that pay their worship leaders 6 figures a year to create the process. 2 fast songs, 3 slow, done in just the right key, in just the right way, when really We have to—
while excellence is important, we need to focus on the object of worship.
And the moment we forget as a congregation, as a body of believers, that God is the object of worship, we have begun to operate in idolatry. Let's get a working definition of idolatry.
Idolatry is the worship of an idol. So that means we start idolizing the process.
We start idolizing the religious process of worship, and we don't want to make that mistake. The worship of an idol, which can be a physical object, a representation of that object, and we treat it as if it is a deity. We treat it like it's God. Are y'all hearing this? So we can go to church, and if there's a choir, there's some people that turn off immediately. The other guy say, oh my, they're quiet here, they got robes on, ain't nobody finished sitting here and listen. But listen, You— the process is not what you're worshiping.
Matter of fact, if you go to church and you see that, you should become a worshiper and tap into God and not worry about how the presentation is being presented to you.
Are y'all hearing this?
Because you are the true worshiper that God— because at that point, again, you on the borderline of idolatry because you now— you got the statue ministry, man.
We ain't gonna tap in today. There's choir.
And the deacons up there singing them hymns, we ain't— but, and they shouting, and they listen.
Well, you got to become the worshiper. You set the temperature because the object is God. Are y'all hearing this?
We cannot treat—
and there's some churches tell you we can't have church unless we got a Hammond B-3, and then worship an organ.
And the devil is a liar. We can worship without an organ.
Watch this, man. We can worship with it because we cannot make things the object of our worship, otherwise we're operating in idolatry. Let's look at what worship is. Worship comes from the Greek word proskuneo, and it literally means to kiss the hand towards one in reverence. It means to lay prostrate to one that deserves honor.
And the only hand we ought to be kissing—
not the Pope, not some bishop with a ring, not some apostle that tell you to kiss his ring. The devil is a liar. Are y'all hearing this?
The only hand we should be kissing is the hand of God. He's the object of reverence. We should be laying prostrate. You know how the Muslims pray? You ain't gonna never see a Muslim standing up praying. You— and we'll look at it, say, oh, they're just being religious, because we know we could pray anywhere, anyway. But the reality is they do it as a deliberate act of honor.
I remember I was working around some Muslims, and at a certain time they would all pull out their mat get down and kneel and toward the east in reverence to Allah.
And I said, now, prayers might not be getting far, but one thing they got right is honor toward God.
Because the reality is, we know that the power is in the name of Jesus.
So at the end of the day, you leaving him out, ain't much happening with that.
But what I'm saying to you is we ought to have at least a prostrate posture in our heart, that we're always honoring God as the top priority in everything we do. Say proskuneo. That's worship.
It's not songs.
It's not the vessel singing the songs. Are y'all hearing this?
Proskaneo is homage and honor toward God. And if we can't— and notice today we went right from prayer into something else God was doing, and now we're preaching. There's no singing today.
And guess what we did? We all worshiped.
There was no worship leader, there was no team up here. We worshiped because it's in our heart to honor God, because he deserves worship. So, and we can't get mad, man, the praise team didn't sing today. Are y'all hearing this? Because at the end of the day, people have picks and chooses as to why they go to church. Some of this church—
I'm telling any church people go, I want to hear the worship, I'm ready to get into it.
But reality is we should be going for him.
Are we here?
So this expression is profound reverence to our God.
Also, there's an Anglo-Saxon word for worship that means worth scope.
So you worship him based on your revelation of him, based on your perspective, your vantage point.
So let's get into this. Two— I ain't got but two points today, and this is what God gave me while I was brushing my teeth, and I'm gonna give it to you just like he gave it to me.
The first point: you cannot worship God— write it down so you remember it—
if you don't know God. I'm gonna say that again. You cannot worship God if you do not know God.
We just read it. The Bible says, but the hour cometh, and now is— say now again. So that's not tomorrow, that's not next week, that's not a minute from now, it's now. So it's really saying every moment of your life In context, God is saying every moment of your life, the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and truth. So God is saying now we're in an hour where we cannot afford to miss an opportunity to worship.
Are y'all here?
We can't miss an opportunity to give God glory.
Say now.
We cannot miss the opportunity to kiss his ring, to pay homage to him. I mean, we got to really look at where we are. I'm serious, we need God on earth. We need God in our family.
We need God in this country.
Y'all do realize our president dropped bombs on nuclear stations in Iran yesterday. We could really be on the brink of World War III, for real.
And now, like never before, we need worshipers, not celebrity worship leaders.
We need true worshipers who worship him in spirit and in truth. I'm gonna break it down backwards. Let's deal with truth.
The point said you cannot worship God if you don't know God.
So how do you worship him in truth? The word truth transliterated in Greek there means in testimony. A testimony is a monologue about the test. So you'll worship him in the truth of your testimony, what you know about God.
Your experience with him, your encounter with him.
True worship comes out of you knowing who God is.
Watch this.
Anybody can praise God. The Bible said let everything that have breath praise. A sinner ain't got to know him and, and see that God did something and said thank you, Jesus, praise you, God, for what you've done.
But worship is an intimate deli—
Hearing this, somebody gonna think, oh, speaking in tongues out loud all day. There's got to be something in here that influences how you live out there, and your life becomes an expression of worship.
You go to your job, you want to speak in tongues all day, they got something for you. They're gonna send you home. I'm just telling you right now.
Because you got— you dare to do work. You're dead. You're there to fulfill another purpose. And in doing that work, let that— how you do that become worship instead of worshiping the process.
Oh, I ain't worship unless I sing. I ain't worship unless I spoke in tongues.
Are y'all here?
He says the outcome Now, when the true worshiper— so a true worshiper worships in spirit and in truth. Say that with me. Say, a true worshiper worships in spirit and in truth. Now here's the part about this I want you to catch prophetically this morning. He says the Father seeketh such to worship him. So while we thought our worship was seeking him—
are y'all here?
He's saying your worship is a response to what he's seeking.
He said he's seeking such to worship him like this.
Innately, it's built in you to worship God. Watch this, because you come out of him.
You are a part of him, and because you're a part of him, something in you is constantly saying, I need to connect with where I really come from. I need to become one with my daddy. Are y'all hearing this? And he's looking— the word seeketh is zeteio in Greek, which means he pursuing hard after those that will worship him in spirit and in truth.
He's seeking that.
What we got to do is get in a position where he ain't got to seek it no more.
We got to make sure we ain't on the list of what he looking for, that we yield. And when he shows up toward us, we're found worshiping.
Rub your belly again, say, I'm a true worshiper. Say, I worship God. Say, every day of my life. Every moment of my life because I'm not my own. Say, I'm bought with a price. Say, I belong to him. Say, it's in him I live, it's in him I move, it's in him I have my being. Come on, say, in the name of Jesus, I'm a true worshiper and I'm here every second to give God the desire of his heart, which is true worship. In Jesus' name. Come on, give God praise if you believe that. In other words, he's not looking for flesh worship. He's looking for worship out of your spirit, not worship from the surface.
He wants us to worship him in spirit in spirit and in truth. So you can't worship God if you don't know God. You got to get to know him. You can praise him, but you can't worship him. So you got to lean on your testimony, lean on your relationship with him in the spirit, and become a worshiper. Watch this. When you got that kind of relationship you, and you really know him, and you worship him out of the knowing— say, it's in the knowing— and you worship him out of the knowing.
Listen to me, guys.
Nobody has to pump you or prime you to worship. You don't need a cheerleader to say, do jumping jacks and give God praise. You don't need none of that.
Glory to God.
All you need is that thing in you that knows he's God.
And it makes it easy then for the ones that lead— are y'all hearing this?— to lead you there because you are already there. You ought to make it so hard for worship teams that they can't hardly get stuff out because you worshiping, you singing so loud, and you going in so glory that it's hard for them to do their job. 'Are y'all hearing this?' You can— and, and it'll pull on something in the worship team to take you higher because you respond correctly. 'Are y'all hearing this?' So, because sometimes I'm telling you, the church has gotten now—
because, you know, we, we turn the lights off during intercession because we want people to focus on God and not what's around them. But most people have the lights off the whole service. So we make the church like a theater, and people are wanting to be entertained most of the time. So most people said, yeah, it's good, it's bad, and they get entertained.
But that's not what the book of Hebrews is saying.
We're to pull on the knowing and worship that God we know that healed our body when we were sick. That's how you ought to come in. That's why David said, I enter his gates with thanksgiving. I come in thankful, I come in grateful, because I know what the Lord has done. You ought to come in with that stuff on your mind. You'll leave everything else at home— tension, the frustration, the arguments in the car, whatever happened on the way— so you can enter his gates with thanksgiving, enter his courts with praise. Say, this is the day the Lord has made.
Hallelujah. Because guess what? Praise— let me just say this— is the vehicle that gets us to worship.
Because you got a lot of people want to omit praise.
We can't take praise out the church. Are y'all hearing this? Praise is important. It's a vehicle.
It's car that gets you to worship.
That's why I said enter with thanksgiving, praise. Enter his courts with praise.
Say, this is the day, praise. It gets us to worship.
And praise is demonstrative.
It means you got to do something.
You can't praise God and have a statue ministry. It's just my way of Praise.
No, you gotta clap, you gotta sing, you gotta be loud. Shabbat means to express yourself in a loud tone. Are y'all hearing this? That, that's praise, man, because you're excited about God. The spirit of praise to heal you.
The very Hebrew word in this aorist sense says that I am making noise.
To draw attention to what I'm making noise about.
So I'm making noise about God to draw attention to him.
That's why I praise.
Not just coming into the solemn assembly and, oh, it is Jesus. Yes, it is Jesus. It's—
it sounds painful because it is painful. How it's being sung. Oh, y'all here?
He's a—
he's a God that has taken great care of us, that's been good to us. He deserves our excitement, man. I go to the Hawks game, it's 70,000 people in one room screaming for 10 men running up and down a basketball court. Church and hollering— I'm talking about to the top of their lungs— for 10 men that's making more money than most of the people in there. Are y'all hearing that? But we'll come to church and, and want to be quiet for God. Are y'all hearing this? We have to learn to give God some football team, basketball team size worship. He deserves that. And when you know him— listen, when you get excited about something, you're excited about it. I ain't never seen nobody be excited about something quiet. Listen, even anger is a level of excitement.
And so when people get angry, there are fluctuations in their voice.
They talk louder than normal.
Because they're angry. Well, maybe not y'all, me. If I'm angry, that's why I thank God for deliverance in Jesus, because it used to be I'm like this.
Thank God for preaching, praise God, because at the end of the day God has done a great work in all of us. Let's magnify him right now. And in the midst of challenges is proof that you really know him, that you can worship him in the midst of challenges. Let me go to my next, next part. Can Cannot worship God without a sacrifice. You cannot worship without a sacrifice. You cannot worship without a sacrifice. Worship always requires sacrifice. Sacrifice means give up something. That means when you're worshiping yourself, He laid you aside! Come back here to me for just one moment so we can pay closer attention together. You don't get out of prison free. You don't bake your ass off. You sacrifice because I'm worthy. I feel this difference.
Some of the days I have just not felt like getting out of bed. I have— I was tired.
This morning was one, but I had to lay—
I wanted to roll over.
I'm telling you, I wanted to roll over and go to sleep some more, but I said, you know what, I got to sacrifice me. I'm telling you, I was laying there trying to contemplate how I can justify texting and prophets, are you preaching today? But I—
only thing I could have said, because I'm asleep, and that wouldn't look right.
Y'all hearing this? So I got on up and sacrificed me so I can come to worship. So watch this, because worship again is not just my song. Worship is my lifestyle of obedience in what I'm called to do.
I'm supposed to be here today, so I had to sacrifice how I felt because you can't worship without sacrifice. Let me show you scripture. Go to Genesis 15. Genesis 15. Y'all getting anything out of these two little points? Genesis 15.
Say it with me.
Say, say, I cannot worship God without a sacrifice. Watch this.
The Bible says, after these things, the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, saying, fear not, Abram, I am thy shield.
And thy exceeding great reward. Now this runs inference on the first thing I gave you. Cannot worship God if you don't know God. So in God's desire to receive worship from Abram, he comes to him in a vision.
I need you because I'm looking for them that'll worship me. Me, but I first need you to know who I am. He says he came to him in a vision.
Now I want you to look closely at this.
It did not say Abram saw him from afar off. It said the word came to him in a vision. So which means Abram's eyes beheld the word of the Lord.
Watch this.
The word of the Lord is not the Bible. Oh, come on. The word of the Lord is the Lord. In the beginning was the word. And the Word was God, and the Word was with God. So here God comes to Abraham, Abraham, Abram, in a vision. So now Abraham, Abram's eyes— he's not converted to Abraham yet— sees God, and God speaks out of this vision. What does it show me? That God can talk to me—
watch this—
without me reading the Bible. This is another way he speaks to us. When we open our heart, he'll come to us in a vision because he has no respect of person. God's come to me like this many times and spoke, but you have to be in a posture in prayer where you don't feel like you're controlling prayer. Let me give you the first key on how to get this kind of vision. First of all, when you go to prayer, you are not controlling prayer. You go into prayer understanding that prayer is narrated, and the narrative of prayer is controlled by the Holy Spirit. Are y'all here? That's why the Bible said pray in the spirit and with understanding. Even in your understanding, you pray understanding that God is in control. And praying in the spirit is when your language picks up and he starts praying for you. But you got to give up control of your prayer time. You go to prayer and proskynatos and worship.
That's really your chief purpose in time when to God. We go immediately asking for stuff. Are y'all here? Because we, because we feel the man upstairs. I'm gonna talk to the man upstairs, he gonna take care of this.
But really, he wants to fellowship with you.
So if you go to prayer with the idea of homage—
back to the Muslim again, that prayer ain't getting far. But he kneels in homage to God saying, okay, Allah, I'm gonna say these prayers they told me to say. I don't even know if they have any expectation when they leave, but our God has rent the veil and he said, I want to fellowship with you. Come to prayer in as a worshiper. Let worship lead your way into prayer. So then now watch this, God responds because he abides in worship. The word of the Lord comes to you, and now you can have a dialogue. Okay, y'all don't believe it? He— the Lord came and he said in the text, first of all, fear not, Abram. Because first of all, Abram had never had an experience like this. And if you've never had an experience like this, the first time fear will arise. First time it happened to me, I was scared.
I'm talking about trembling. And these exact words, God said, don't be afraid. I'm your King. I'm your Father. Can I tell you something? That door is open for all of us.
He starts talking to him, said, fear not.
Then he starts telling him who he is.
He says, I am your shield, which means I'm your protector. Nothing that's happening to you or around you or that's been threatened against you can harm you because I am your protector. Are y'all here?
I need you to touch yourself and say, God's my protector. I gotta hit this again because again, we— this, this, this president is, is walking on this, these dangerous, uh, paths with some of the things that he's doing. The reality is we got to know that God is protecting us regardless of what decisions are being made. He is our shield. Listen, and I want you to understand something.
With all the stuff that's going on in the world, people killing people, people doing crazy things. God's your shield. He covers you. He keeps you. I've read something last week when— really, no, 2 days ago I read this.
And, and this person, I know that this lady has just been hurt by the church. I don't even know how she got on my timeline, but it went through. She posted something, said, is there— she said, there is no power power in the name of Jesus. People need to stop calling on the name of Jesus.
I cringe when I read that because I know the things the name of Jesus have done for me personally, and I know the things I've seen the name of Jesus do for others personally. And I want to say to you, uh, she calls herself— I don't know who gave her a doctor of theology—
and you don't believe that there's power in the name of Jesus, but Dr. Vanessa Brooks, I say to you, and I'm gonna tag you in this clip right here. There, ma'am, I love you, but there is power in the name of Jesus.
I've seen Jesus heal cancer. I've seen him heal heart disease. I've seen the name of Jesus, uh, oh my God, raise up cripples and lames and cause them to walk. I've seen the name of Jesus transform my finances. I've seen the name of Jesus heal broken marriages. I've seen the name of Jesus— you it may not be any power for you, but if you serve him and open your heart and build relationship with him and worship him for real, the name of Jesus will work for your life, because there is power in the name of Jesus.
Glory to God, glory to God.
My mama and my grandmother—
my mama was 15 when I was born, my Grandmama helped my mama raise me.
I remember going to kindergarten. I remember going to school, and before I would go to school, my grandmama would lay hands on me and say, "The blood of Jesus," and, "I put the name of Jesus over you." And guess what? I went to school during a time when they were kidnapping children in Atlanta. I never got kidnapped. I wasn't afraid. Y'all ain't got to say nothing to me. I'm telling you, there's power in the name of Jesus. Before we had insurance, we would plead the blood over the car, plead the blood over the house, in the name of Jesus, because there's power.
Oh God, I'm sorry. There's power in his name.
I'm telling you, that thing did something to me when I read it. And then all the comments, all of these people, hundreds of comments agreeing that there's no power.
I wanted to write something so bad. God said, don't write nothing, just pray.
And I— but, but now I'm— he gave me liberty to call her name and post this, because I'm telling you, lady, there's power. There's power. There's power. I, I, I was a sinner that needed to be saved. There's nothing that saved me except the name of Jesus.
They talking about it's a figment of the imagination, trying to give all this deep inclusionist theology. That's because they don't know him.
They've never had encounters with him.
But when you've had encounters with him, nothing could cause you to deny him. I'm telling you, Pastor Jeffrey, an angel can come and preach another gospel, but I'll never deny his name.
They could come and tell me that Jesus ain't God, you've been wrong all this time. I'm gonna say, you're a lying angel. 'Cause at the end of the day, glory to God, I've seen him, I've felt him, I've heard his voice, I've saw what he's done for others and what he's done for me. He's real, he's real. Christ Jesus is real. He walks with me, talks with me, a long life, narrow way. He lives, he lives, salvation to impart. Ask me, know how I know he lives. He He lives in my heart.
He's alive. Hallelujah. Glory to God. Come on, give the name of Jesus praise. He's our shield. He's our protector.
Can I tell you something? God has blocked stuff that the enemy sent to you that you didn't know he blocked. There's diseases he's blocked. He blocked AIDS. Y'all ain't got to talk to me here. Well, you could have got AIDS, but he blocked it. Oh, y'all ain't got to say Now, there's somebody watching. He blocked a bullet to your head that was meant for you, but God blocked it because he is your shield. Are y'all here today? He's protected you when you should have overdosed, should have lost your mind, when you should have had a heart attack, but God blocked it and made sure it wasn't so. Somebody ought to shout it. God blocked it. God blocked it. I don't know about you. I should have been aborted. They tried and couldn't. I'm still here. I'm still alive. Because God blocked it and he had a purpose because he's my shield.
Y'all here? Oh God, oh God, thank you for being my shield.
God, thank you for protecting me when I couldn't protect myself.
I remember I was about 8 years old, my mama and I went to the door. There was a knock at the door. We went to the to the door, there was a man standing at the door with this big long.45 gun. I'm telling you, God will block stuff. And he looked at my mama and said, where's your husband? She said, he's not here. And I'm just standing there looking at this big old gun because it's like almost eye level to me. He got Mama said, he ain't here. He said, he owes me money and I came to collect. He said, not only when people owe me money for my product, cuz my stepfather was dealing drugs, he says, I killed them and everything connected to them. He said, he owes me and I want my money. He lifted the gun and then he looked behind us seemingly and his eyes got bugged. Tears began to roll down his face. He dropped the gun.
fulfill your purpose. I know today that is because not only me, but my mama has great purpose. We should have been dead.
I'm saying, even this past time, God brought me— what stuff you should have sat there and been paralyzed for, God moved it, erased it, Lord, they come to glorify you.
They say, God is my—
That's the word. Limited means abundance.
So if I'm in him, abundance is in me.
And I'm not just talking about— I'm talking about abundance of joy.
You find yourself not being loved but not getting what you think you need. He's got an abundance of it. He's got an abundance of joy and peace that we ought to be operating in. That's who he is. And then on top of that, if you need things, he got an abundance of that too.
That's who he is.
And God wanted Abram to know this so he could worship.
Watch what Abram does.
He reacts to the revelation of God wrong. Verse 2.
This is the wrong reaction.
And Abram said, Lord, what will ye do?
That's the wrong reaction.
When God gives you a revelation of who he is, and then you have the nerve to want to go and explain why he's saying that.
I'm childless, I ain't got no child.
Well, since you my exceeding great reward, since you my shield, what you going to give me? That's, that's church God, because that's how we are. God, give me, give me, give me. Instead of celebrating that, that we got him, what you should have did was just worship.
Oh my God.
And not ask for nothing, because he done told you, you got everything you need. I'm your protection and I'm your abundance. You ain't got to ask for nothing else. And I'm telling you, when we really become true worshipers, asking becomes a very minimal thing. That's why the Bible says, seek ye first the kingdom of God and all his righteousness, and all these things will be added. That's what you want to live in, the realm of addition. Where you're just pursuing him, his kingdom, his way, his plan, his purpose, and he just slips you what you need. See, if you seek God, if you seek him, he'll slip you a house. You just seek it and y'all— I'm a witness— he'll slip you a million dollars. Y'all ain't got to Where did that resource open up? And when did that happen? You need to keep your eyes fixed on him so he can slip you a career, slip you a business, slip you a profession, slip you a husband, slip you a wife. But you got to go after him instead of, God, give me a house, give me a car, give me money, give me a husband. Come on, man, he's not your sugar daddy. He's the king. King of Kings and the Lord of Lords.
You don't— you can waste the relationship that you have and make this the next album. You can call this "The Last." What am I saying?
So if you sacrifice the relationship, here's the true Y'all hearing this? You bring your value to those relationships. And here's what I learned: when you do that, you don't even have to ask.
They reciprocate. I just say, hey, I want to bless you. I want to do this for you. I want to help you right here. You mean you ain't have to ask your parents for clothes? You might be enlightened about it, but you born rich and you were clothed in glory. Don't you believe all you got to do is ask for something?
Be worrying about this stuff.
He said, take no thought of what you should eat, drink, what you should put on, for your Father's going to give you everything that you seek. He says, but seek first his kingdom, worship, seek first— but now it's us seeking. God's seeking us to worship, and he says, but seek the kingdom and his So seek faith and arise with his word. Righteousness, covenant, honor, what's right, what the Bible says.
Say, I cannot worship God.
Say, I cannot worship God. I can't worship God like—
I can't worship God if I don't know God.
I cannot worship God without salvation. And it came to pass after these things that God did tempt Abraham. Now he's saying that God was a All right, all of this belongs to him because now he's the father of creation. He is the son of the great I AM. He's come in alignment with God's I AM. Say it came to pass.
That means history.
Whenever you read that it came to pass in the Bible, that means it happened. Can I submit to you that your history is only an indicator that you have futures that are coming, that you have other promises that are going to come to pass in your life? I mean, I want—
you don't have to raise your hand, but honestly, how many of you can really look back at history and see stuff as history that God has done? I mean, seriously, can you look over your shoulder regardless to what you're dealing with right now and see his has done? Can I submit to you, his has done is just as powerful as his will do. I'm telling you, he, he, if he had— you have history with God. God is not stopping right there. He wants to make more history with you. And the prophecy— can I submit to you— and the promises that over your life and over your head. You're going to step into an arena and a dimension and a day where you'll be able to say, "And it came to pass." People will look at you and say, "How did that happen for you? How did that door open? How did you get that wife? How did you get that husband? How did you get that money? How did you get that career?" You'll just say, "It came to pass. It was always promised, but it came to pass." I'm telling you this morning in this church, God God is working on history in our lives. There's more history to be made with God. And if you make history with God in worship in private, he'll make history with you in public. Y'all didn't hear that. If you make history with God in private, he'll make history with you in public. But if you refuse to make history with him, You can't depend on him to make history for you, cuz he said, if you're ashamed of me, I'll be ashamed of you. But if you glorify me, I'll glorify you before men. How you want it? Glory to God. That's why you got to make up your mind every day. Get up, go into your secret, exalt your king, magnify him. Watch this, macrograph him. To macrograph God means to engraft him into everything you do, which means no part of you, hallelujah, operates without him.
There's a point to suffering. The root word of adversity is ad. An ad is a representation, a portrait of Jesus. You got here, when you go through tests and pressure, you become an ad for Christ and for God. He wants people your survival points them to God. Your survival points them to God. It lets people know you thought it was over for me, but God brought me through this mess.
It lets people know that you wrote me off, but I'm still here. It lets people know that regardless of what you think of me, God has still kept me alive and given the glory out of my life. You are as—
your maturity is determined by your sensitivity.
How you handle trials and tests and challenges, you can measure your maturity.
You know God's heart. 15. Take your son, your only son.
See, you had it wrong back there in 15, Abram. There could be no worship without a sacrifice. You should be giving me something.
So many people in this place are holding on to things that God's not— you're holding on to stuff that God wants. And I stopped by this church today to tell you, it's a blessing on your life.
He did everything as he normally did.
Only one thing he didn't bring was the lamb, the dove, or the sacrifice called Isaac. He was moving in obedience, starting the journey.
Verse 4, the Bible said, then on the third day, Abram lifted up his eyes and saw—
watch this— obedience always brings revelation.
He never would have saw the place if he never did what he did. He had to get up, go through the place God told him to, so he could see what God was doing.
Some people never see what God's trying to change them because they won't obey. Amen. We got to obey what God says.
We got to, so we can see the future. You want to believe it?
Father, Son, Holy Ghost. The Ghost is with us, third dimension. Out of court, in the court, holy of holies, third dimension. Faith, hope, love. The greatest of these three is love. Third dimension. Body, soul, spirit. Third dimension. Y'all here? Jesus rose on the third day. Third. So to have the third day experience in your life, that, that sacrifice— but Jesus rose on the first day, right?
You cannot have the resurrection without the resurrection.
because watch this, it happened with Abraham and Lot. This is the difference between Abram and Abraham.
In the same 15th chapter, God spoke to him and said, hey, you got to give her to Lot. You're in disobedience. Lot's your cousin. I told you not to take your kindred. There's more I want to do.
You got to let him go.
And the Bible said when he separated from Lot, he lifted up his he opened his eyes and he saw from the north, the south, the east, and the west what God was doing. And God told him, all the land you see over here—
he couldn't see that as long as Lot was there.
And you gotta know the lot situations that reference Lot. There's some stuff we hold on to God cannot even show us because we're looking through the lens of our own desires.
Man, that's not me. Let that woman go. That's not me. I see you. I see you. In the name of Jesus, I heard the Lord say, let that woman go. That's not your woman. She's not your wife. And I need you to speak it in the name. It's the only language we have. I need you to speak it. And you justify the thinking every time you do it. But God says the adultery is robbing you of your future. You got donkeys. Donkeys, right? They're so cute. Watch this. A donkey is designed for short trips.
Some of these donkeys be short trips, and these camels are long trips, right? You got to know who's designed to take you the short distance.
And when, when identified them as a man, said, I got you.
He said, we're going younger in worship. So if you want to go higher— younger is higher—
higher in worship, you got to leave the immature behind. You got to leave the man behind.
Now guess what?
The ass don't get happy when you kill any man.
They gonna quit on you anyway.
Asses, you don't let them go.
At some point they gonna reveal themselves anyway. They gonna walk away just like an ass.
Glory to God. And do their thing. You got to decide. I'm just done. I am born to win. I'm designed to finish. So I'mma surround myself with people who can finish with me. I told y'all, we're going to stop trying to fit this 16x20 idea in a 3x5 mind.
That 3x5 mind has no ability to comprehend or receive your 16x20.
heavy anointing upon your lives in worship. I want to pray that you'll be in your home and you'll worship like those that came to church. That the glory of the Lord will fill your house as you worship in your home.
I want to pray for a deeper level of worship that even as you go into the world, your life will be a living testimony to who he is.
You can just begin praying right now because I'm telling you, this thing is going to unfold. And I'm going to pray for the spirit of sacrifice, that you'll be willing to give God everything he asks you for, that you realize your life is not your own and you belong to him, and that you will present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable acceptable unto God, which is your legit cause, your reasonable service, that you find him worthy of honor and praise based on testimony. You got testimony from your life of who he is and previous interactions with him. You know he's God. And I pray today that your worship would deepen. Come on, right where you are, I want you I want you to begin to worship God.
Come on, begin to give him the fruit of your lips.
Come on, open up your mouth in this building.
Every person, open your mouth.
Come on, let's begin to express our love toward God. Let's worship him. Let's worship him. He looks for the true worshiper. Come on, with what we just learned, let's, let's just tap in. Hallelujah. Without a cheerleader, without me coercing you, come on, just you and him. Just you and him. It's you and him, you and him. Ha! His ear is inclined to us this morning. He wants to hear his children. He wants to fellowship with his children. He's inclined toward us. Come on, even those of you watching us online, don't you dare scroll. Come on, right where you are, open up your mouth and begin to worship God. Begin to worship the King. Begin to give God glory. Come on, out of your belly shall flow Oh, rivers of living water. Father, here we are, your children, your sons and your daughters, and we've come to worship. We've come to give God glory. We've come to extol your name. We've come to make your name great. Come on, open your mouth. Come on, pour out, pour out, pour out of your spirit, God, in the name of Jesus. You are King. You are glorious God, you are awesome creator. We worship you, God. Come on, even those of you watching this video, put the phone down, lift your hands, open your mouth, step away from your computer. Your computer, your tablet. Worship. Hallelujah! He's calling for the worshiper in you. Deep call if too deep. Come on, open your mouth! Great God, great God. Come on, the worshipers are worshiping. Come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on! His ear is open. Respond to the word. Hallelujah! You can't worship if you don't know him. I believe everybody in here knows him. Come on, open your mouth. You can't worship without a sacrifice. You may not feel like it, but open your mouth. Open your mouth and give him glory. Open your mouth and give him honor. Open your mouth and give him— pray, God, We love you. We worship you, God, and give you glory. Come on, a few moments. Come on, out of your spirit, out of your Spirit. Hey, glory to your name, God. Bless you. Come on, sing it, Zion.
We sing praise.
Come on, everybody.
All glory, praises to you. Come on, sing. Oh Lord, oh Lord, for your name is great. Sing it like you mean it. Come on, we sing.
Sing it like you know him. Yes, God. Oh Lord, praises to— give him a sacrifice of worship. For your name is great and greatly to be praised. We sing praises to you, Lord. Oh Lord, Praise is to— y'all sing to Jesus. Oh Lord, oh Lord, for your name is great.
Come on again, we sing. Now Father, in Jesus' name, I thank you for what you're doing. Stir worship in him like never before.
I release a deep desire, a heavy anointing, and a deep covering.
Thank you, God.
For worship, not just experiences in the church but out of the church. That our life will become a living sacrifice unto you.
That we'll be prostrating at all times and in all things.
We thank you for the victory now. I declare that we will make history with you in prayer. I release the discipline to rise early and pray, to rise early and worship. I release the discipline to spend time with you daily. Before we spend time with anybody else. And Father, I believe that if we spend time with you in deep places of worship first, and then our life now will become a living expression of who you are, and we will find favor in the world. I thank you for it in the name of Jesus.
I thank you, God.
like never before in our worship. Let the congregation worship with the praise team. And I thank you, God, that as the praise team ministers, they'll have corporate unity. Your word declares where there is unity, you command the blessing. So, Father, I thank you that as we unify, you command the blessing on us, on our houses, on our church. On our children, on our families, God, because we're on the same boat.
It's about you, God. It's not about us. It's about you. We lay it all down again. We declare you worthy.
Help us to worship you in spirit and in truth, God.
To align ourselves with the truth of the God in us, to fall in love with the God in us, and to worship through our truth, who we are and what we're doing here and what we promise. We say, "Amen." We give some praise to you, Lord. Glory to your name. I drink the tears.
Can you say this?
We give glory to your name. Glory to your name. Sing, oh Lord, glory to you.
Oh Lord, oh Lord, for your name is great. For your name is great.
For your name is great. Say it again.
For your name. Come on, declare the greatness of his name. The greatness of his name. Oh, for your name.
And greatly to Oh, he's so good. He's so good. Oh, greatly to be—
greatly to be praised.
Oh, the Lord is great and greatly God.
Come on, give God glory. Yeah, we bless your name, Jesus.
Hallelujah, Jesus. God is so good. Don't stop giving him glory. Don't stop honoring his name.
