Understanding EXECUTION | Dr. Mike Woods, Sr. | 26 NOVEMBER 24

Dr. Mike Woods Sr. teaches that execution means carrying out God's pre-ordained plan for your life. He cites Jeremiah 1:5 to argue you were known and sanctified before birth, then challenges viewers to assess their emotional, spiritual, and financial growth year-over-year. Stagnation leads to decline; high performance requires disciplined practice in prayer, passions, places, and details.

Well, praise the Lord, everybody. A pleasant good evening. Listen, I appreciate every person that's jumping on here right now. Um, this was really impromptu. I am extremely tired, but when the Holy Spirit starts dealing with me and, um, he starts pressing things on my heart for you, um, ministry is all about sacrifice, so I've been doing this most of my life, and my life has consisted of an abundance of sacrifices to be able to do what I do in ministry, what I do in business, the level of authority and power I operate in, in the spirit. These things all come from sacrifice. So I'm not unfamiliar to this territory. So I'm going to press through this as quickly as possible. You guys come on in. Do me a favor tonight. I know it's 10 o'clock. I'm in Central Standard Time right now. It's 9 o'clock. I know it's 10 o'clock on the East Coast. So if you guys are coming in on the East Coast, I promise you I'm not going to hold you long tonight. But what I do want to do is give you a what thus saith the Lord on this thing of execution. So come in, guys. Tag someone below. Please share. Hit the like button. All of the above. And we want to make sure this message gets out. Matter of fact, yesterday morning, after I got out of prayer and spending some time with God, this word execution dropped in my spirit. I posted a video a few days ago asking people to write a list, you know, of things you need to change about yourself. And Understanding, one, you needed to be totally honest with yourself because every person listening to me, yes, you too, you too, with your deep and wonderful self, there are things about you that could improve. With your smart, intelligent, beautiful self, there are things that could improve. So I asked you to write the list, be honest, and then secondly, understanding that if you really wanted to see change, You're going to have to literally do those things. You have to execute. You have to make the changes. And so we're getting very close, people. This is the 25th of November, 2024. Listen, guys, we are very close to 2025. It's going to be a new set of days, a blank canvas. Nothing you want for next year is going to fall out of the sky. Listen, if you're just joining us, I see you guys coming in. Please do me a favor, do me a favor, guys, please share this. Someone needs this. Again, I'm not going to be long tonight, but someone needs to hear what we're about to disseminate. So please share. If you're just joining us, say hello. It's just nice to be nice. Comment below, let us know you are here. Understanding again, if you're going to have a great year— listen to me, family— you're going to have to make the changes to produce that year. I believe there are a lot of people that are in stuck mode. They go year over year and they have no increase in their life metric. And if you could look back, just let's think about this. I want you to do this for me really quick. If you can look back November— hear me— 25th, 2023, and do a year-over-year of where you were on November 25th, 2023, emotionally, spiritually, financially, versus where you are right now, year over year. Hear me, hear me, guys, versus where you are right now, year over year. 2024? Have you increased or have you decreased? And so tonight I want to give you an understanding of why maybe your metric hasn't increased and why maybe you've decreased. And somebody said, well, I ain't increase or decrease, I'm the same. No, listen, either you're increasing or you're decreasing. And I always say— I've been saying this for 40 years— if something is not increasing you, it will ultimately decrease you. So tonight I wanted to jump on here and talk to you really about creating a culture of high performance in your life. Somebody type that in the comments. A culture of high performance. You cannot do that unless you become a human that's interested in strategic execution by deliberately creating this culture of high performance. And I'm gonna give you a few things tonight to help you understand, you know, what execution is, all right? And I want to help you understand how to move into a discipline really quickly of executing so that when you cross over into 2024, hear me guys, you'll be able to execute effectively. So let's start here tonight. Let's start with a working definition all right, of execution. Hallelujah! Let's get a working definition of execution. Matter of fact, type that in the comments: execution, execution. That's what we want. We want a working definition of execution. So what is it? It means to carry out— listen to this— or put into effect a plan, a order, or course of action. Now let me say this, because none of this matters if you don't believe this. God already has a plan, he already has an order, and he already has a course of action that is designed for your life. Come here, Jeremiah 1:5. The Bible says in Jeremiah 1:5, my favorite book in the whole world, before I formed you in the belly, I knew you. My God, tonight he said, before I formed you in the belly, I knew you. That word knew in Hebrew is yada, y-a-d-a-a, which means that I was intimate with you. I was in close proximity with you. So, and intimacy is not sex. Ask any woman, she'll tell you that. So when I say God was intimate with you, that's not what I'm talking about. Get your mind out of that place, please. Jesus. What I am speaking of is that you had a pre-adamic relationship with God. So This signifies, first of all, you are supposed to be here. Touch yourself, say, I'm supposed to be here. Oh my God, you're supposed to be here. You're supposed to be here. And, and then maybe somebody tonight— maybe that's why I needed to get on here, because maybe someone tonight feels like giving up. Maybe you feel like you have no significance. Maybe you feel like your life has no, uh, unique value and you've lost sense of purpose. Let me tell you something. The very fact that God knew you before you got in your mother's belly is an indicator that you are supposed to be here. Also is an indicator that the day you were born, you entered the earth full of purpose, full of potential, and manufactured in heaven with a destiny that you gotta fulfill. The reality is, Most people are born and never realize that. Why is it? It's because they never tap into real relationship with the God that knew them before they got here. Most people spend their lives— hear me, guys— trying to get answers from other people about who they are. They're running from prophet to prophet trying to get a word and understanding that God is the spirit of prophecy. Jesus Christ, the Bible says, is the spirit of prophecy. So if you get a relationship with him, he's going to begin to articulate your assets, your abilities, your assignments. Oh my God. And that's the ultimate prophecy you want to hear. Matter of fact, your assets, your assignments, and your abilities, that makes up your prophetic profile. And now any prophecy that enters your life has to confirm what's inside of the profile that God has already spoken. Here's the problem. Here's the fallacy. Here's the weakness in the church. People don't know God. They go to church, they go through the motions, they have praise breaks, they worship, they cry, but they never really get to know him. They meet him on Sunday. That's why they say, "I'm going to meeting, I'm going to service." They meet him and they have these brief meetings, but they never spend the kind of time that causes them to enter into real relationship and get to know him, where— watch this— your prophetic profile can be revealed. Can I say this? Your prophetic profile can never be recognized, it has to be revealed, which again is your assets, the innate assets, your abilities, and your assignments. Let's finish Jeremiah 1:5. I gotta go, I'm almost done. Jeremiah 1:5 says, before I formed you in the belly, I knew you. So before you were formed in your mother's belly, God knew you. You're supposed to be here. If you didn't type it in the comments before, type it now. I'm supposed to be here. I need you to grab— oh my God, I need you to grab that. You're supposed to be here. You're not an oops. There's no mistake. That's— listen, that's why the doctors couldn't abort you. Glory to God, because you are supposed to be. Matter of fact, your heart is beating right now while I'm talking. Because you're supposed to be here. He said, before I formed in my mother's belly, I knew you. Oh my God, what else did he do? He said, I ordained you a prophet. To Isaiah, a prophet— not everybody's a prophet, but there is an ordination, there is an order. That's all that word means. I gave your life order, I gave it structure. So again, there's already an order in place before you got here. I ordained you. Then watch this, I sanctified you, which means I set aside a plan that's specifically set aside for you to accomplish. Yes, you, you're important, you're authentic, you're significant. You know, believe it or not, there are seasons in my life I believe that I had no significance. I believe that I was worthless. I believe that, glory to God, my life would never really amount to a whole lot because of the circumstances I came from. But you know what? When I met Jesus and fell in love with him for real, he gave me a revelation of my assets, my abilities. Oh my God, my assignments and my value blew up. Glory to God. I realized who I was. You're important, you're needed, you're necessary, but you got to execute this plan doesn't just come forth. He said, I ordained you, I sanctified you. Glory to God. I knew you all before you got here. You're supposed to be here. And now if you want to see the promise of God come forth in your life, especially as we go into this next year of 2025, it's the cusp of a new decade. A release of supernatural grace, which is the ability— watch this— to be empowered to fulfill purpose. That's what grace is. It's a gift that empowers you to fulfill God's plans. And as you enter into this, you got to deliberately, on purpose, execute. You gotta execute. Oh my God, so what does that mean? Again, you got to create a life of high performance, and you got to decide that you're gonna operate in a level where the things that you do on a day-to-day basis— hear me— that they could be adequately measured that they can be adequately discerned. Oh my God, are y'all here with me tonight? That they can be adequately handled. So how do I do that? I'm glad you asked. Glory to God. The first thing that has to happen is you have to become disciplined. A man or a woman without discipline— watch this— is a man or a woman who will always evolve— watch this— in circumferences, in circles. When you don't have discipline, your life just kind of does this. You have this mundane existence that goes over and over again because what you've done, you've created a pattern. You created this spirit of same, and you go through these process where all you produce is same over and over again, never increasing, but not realizing it, always decreasing because you're moving further away from the plan because you're not disciplined. Here's some areas, and I'm going, that you gotta get disciplined in. Number 1, you gotta get disciplined in the area of prayer. Prayer, prosuke in Greek, glory to God, meaning to be face to face with the psychology, with the logic, with the thought process of God, to walk into his mind and inspect what he's thinking concerning you. Prayer is not all about how you sound. It's not about emotions. Prayer is about operating in a level of faith where you understand you're face to face And you're entering into the mind of God with access to who he is. And watch this, what he desires for you. Oh boy, touch yourself, say, I have access to him. Say it again, say, I have access to him. Type it in the comments, I have access to him. Here's a question, Does he have access to you? You will only discover that when you're disciplined in prayer. You need to find some prime time with God every day where you meet him at the same place, same time, and you spend quality time with him. So you need to become disciplined in prayer. Watch this, you need to become disciplined in the area of your passions. See, your passion— it could be Syrian— your passions— I didn't say nothing to Siri. Glory to God. Your passions will cause you— glory to God— to miss God every time. If you can't control your desires, if you can't control your passions, Oh my God, oh my God, are y'all here? You gotta control that. You gotta bring it under control. As Samson, he— part of— he was missing his promise so much because of his passions. You gotta get your passions in check. The things that don't align with God's plan, the sin, the harmēssia in Greek, those things where you're missing the mark, where you're more passionate about them than you are God. So much so that you'll try to change the word to justify your passion. No, you'll never execute at a high level or create a high-level performance if you're not disciplined in your passions. Your passion will cause you to miss meetings you need to be in, and it'll cause you to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, which brings me to my third area of discipline. You need to discipline your locations, your places. So not only do you need to discipline in the area of prayer and your passion, you need to discipline your places where you go. Some of you are connected to things and ministries out of religious obligation. Education. Oh, and you go to that place because you have a passion for your emotional attachment to it. You're not learning, you're not growing, you're not increasing. You're going through same, same, and you're decreasing. You're getting further away from the authentic you that God has created you to be because you frequent places that are not in the DNA of your destiny. And finally, I have to go. You got to become disciplined in the area— watch this— of the particulars, of the details, the specifics. And you get the particulars, you get the details in prayer. The particulars surround your purpose. And God begins to show you the particulars, the people, the— oh my God, the, the provisions that are connected to his plan. But you got to get disciplined so you can hear the particulars. I love y'all tonight. I gotta go. Thank y'all for joining me. Listen, I gotta go. Thank you for joining me. I, I could keep going and going. Listen, I gotta go. I love y'all. Listen, make plans now, man. To meet me on Thursday morning, Thanksgiving Day, at Rhoda Church. It's going to be phenomenal, man. We would look— it's gonna be prophecy, miracles, signs, wonders. You know, somebody's sick, bring them. We're gonna kick Thanksgiving Day off right by giving thanks to him. Meet us at Rhoda Church, 410 Santa Fe Trail in Ellenwood, Georgia. The link is in this bio on any one of these pages you're watching this. I love y'all, man. Y'all be blessed. Thank y'all for joining me tonight. Y'all be good, man. Peace.
