Walking in the Word! | Dr. Mike Woods, Sr. | Day 11

In this live teaching, Dr. Mike Woods Sr. opens with a prayer and acknowledges technical streaming problems before launching into a sermon titled “Walking in the Word.” He frames the Bible as the living constitution of God’s kingdom, emphasizing that the Word is active, sharp, and a power source (Hebrews 4:12). He explains how the Word divides the soul and spirit, acting as a gate that must be guarded through what we see, hear, and speak. Woods outlines a tripartite view of humanity—body (bios), soul (psuche), and spirit (zoe)—and shows how the Word energizes the spirit, directs the soul, and transforms the body. Practical exhortations include meditating on Scripture day and night, speaking the Word aloud, and allowing it to shape thoughts, actions, and relationships. He repeatedly urges listeners to share the stream, join the 21‑day fast via rhodochurch.com, and give financially to “plant seed.” The tone is devotional, urgent, and persuasive, aiming to motivate believers to live as living epistles, letting Scripture govern every aspect of life.

You have to Really put all your total trust in God for everything you're doing, for sure. Um, yeah, let's see here. Let's go back here. We're gonna start in a moment, y'all. Let's try— let me send out another text. Praise the Lord. Glory to God. We give you praise, Jesus. We wonderful Savior, mighty God, we bless you, we honor you, God, and we thank you. Thank you, Jesus. Guys, do me a favor. Kindly, kindly, kindly share this wherever you're watching us. Please share it. Glory to God. So people will know where we're at. I'm gonna just jump right in here and start teaching. All right, I love it. Glory to God. So Father, again, we thank you for the opportunity to teach your word. We give you praise and glory, God. And Satan, you a liar. Hallelujah. All of the atmospheric disturbance, because we know that the enemy does not want us to walk in the word. He wants us to continue to move in our flesh, to make emotional decisions, to move out of carnality. But Father, we thank you that regardless to what the enemy tries to do This word will go out, and those that need to hear it will hear it. And we give you praise for it now, in Jesus' name. Amen. And thanks be to God. All right, guys, we, we're grateful again that you are here. Praise God. And again, we're just going to jump in here and teach, right? Glory to God. We're going to jump right in here and just start teaching this. Yes, God, we give you praise, we give you glory, we give you honor, we magnify you, and we macrograph glory. Glory, God. All right, so today we're talking about walking in the word, right? So the word of God— and, and as I was praying this morning at 5 and we were reading the scriptures for the day, every scripture we read, God was just speaking uniquely to me. So revelation— I didn't have time to really teach it and start breaking that revelation down. Glory to God, uh, on this morning. Now what I do want you to understand, glory to God— the devil, you're a liar, I bind you up in the name of Jesus. Cast the devil out of the mind, break down every stubborn will. I say yes, Lord, yes to your will, yes to your way. At the end of the day, the devil wants us to believe that the scripture is just a religious book, and I'm glad I discovered years ago that this book really was alive, and everything that God says in this book is true. Matter of fact, in every kingdom— listen to this— there is a constitution. In the United States, this is kingdom, amen? And, uh, it just don't operate like no kingdom. It operates like a democracy. But there, a kingdom, or the kingdom has a constitution which all of the laws derive and the governance of that kingdom come from the constitution. Whether you go to England, whether you go to a country in Asia or Australia, wherever you go, there's a constitution in place where decrees have been made and the citizens of that kingdom abide— listen to me— by that constitution. Well, as citizens in the kingdom of God, our constitution— and then we're going to just walk through these scriptures is the word of God. We're not— yeah, now understand me, glory to God, we have to obey the laws of the land, but when those laws go against our Constitution, then we have to make a choice. Watch this, to choose what the Constitution says. We are in this world, watch this, but not of this world. We are here, glory to the name of God, to carry out an assignment for our King. We're all here on assignment. We're all here to do something for God that has never been done before. And so what I want to challenge you to do today as we walk through these scriptures is understand that, again, this book is not just some historical, archaic set of words. This book is alive. Glory to God. This book was given to us for us to live by. Wait a minute, we don't need another one. You got some crazy folk out here saying we need another canon. The devil is a liar. We don't need another canon. What we do need, glory to the name of God, here this is for the people of God, hear me good. To take the book that we've been given and begin to become living expressions of that book so that people encounter— watch this— ooh, the book through our lives. The scripture says we are epistles written and read of men. So basically what happens, we take this book— listen to me— that we study, that we read, that we teach from, and we digest it in a way that we become a living expression of what's in the book. Please share this, guys. Glory to God. Please share it. Amen. Because people need to know this. People— religion got people so bound. Glory to Jesus. I mean, they're bound, man. They're bound. And they have no real revelation of the book. But God is saying to us today We need— oshi amande dede beso— we need, glory to God, to tap into the book. Praise God. We need— shi mandolo bo shi— a relationship with this book so that the power of the living God that flows through this book can manifest in our life. So let's get into this, man. All right, I'm just gonna give you the scriptures like the Lord gave them to me, and as we was reading them this morning, and we're gonna walk this out, man. So let's go to Hebrews 4. Glory to God. Hebrews 4:12. Let's start right there. I dare you, type it in the comments: the word is alive. Glory to God. Touch yourself and say, the word is alive. Glory to God. It's alive. It is alive. Hebrews 4:12, watch this, says the word of God is quick. So let's stop right there for a moment. The word of God, the logos in Greek— this is not rhema, this is the logos. The logos, watch this, is where yours— like logic, glory to God, uh, it's, it's the divine thoughts of God. So inside of this book, hear me, are the divine thoughts of God. Glory to God. I'll say that again. Inside of the Bible are the divine thoughts of God. And again, we're to become one with those thoughts and become living expressions. Hear me good, man. I feel like running. Of what God is thinking, of his logic, So our life should mirror, glory to God, what's on God's mind. Oh boy, not what we think ought to be or what we think should be, but our life should mirror, good God Almighty, what God is thinking. Glory to Jesus. Whoo, my God. So the word of God, hear me, is quick. The scripture here says it's powerful. So this, this text is now giving us some characteristics of the word. So let's stop right there. Quick, quick is zio in Greek, which means it breathes, it lives. Wait a minute, so just like you live and breathe I need y'all again, this book is not archaic. It is not just historical. It's just not a fantasy document. Glory to God. It breathes and it lives. And listen, if you walk in the spirit, my God, today I feel like teaching this. I know this why the devil was fighting this stream, man. Listen, you gotta understand this word is quick, it's powerful, it's sharper than any two-edged sword. My Jesus, today it, it breathes. It's not lifeless, it's not dead. Hallelujah! It's worthy of its characteristics. Watch this. It is active, it is blessed, it is endless. This word never runs out, it never dies, it will stand forever. It is quick. So watch this. If you got any dead situation in your life, I dare you, I double dog dare you, as we used to say as kids, in faith to put the word on it. I say it again, I double dog dare you to put the word on it, because the word is alive, the word is breathing, the word of God. Hear me, can't Lie. It's quick, it's powerful. Let's keep moving. That word powerful is energes in Greek, and it means it is effectual, effective, active, which means it's constantly working. It's a current. Energies is what we— it's like energy. So energy is a current that flows to power something. So this, this, this word powerful is telling us that the word of God— hear me— is a power source. My God, today it's a power source, our energy source that's constantly— oh my God— that's constantly working, that's constantly moving on our behalf if we align with it. That's the key. If we align with it in faith, the word is powerful enough to work for you. It's active. It's always a resource you can depend on. Uh, can I just teach this and break it down so it's quick? It's powerful. We're talking about the word of God. Hallelujah. The thoughts, the logic of God is quick. The logic of God is powerful. Watch this. It's sharper than any two-edged sword. A two-edged sword— watch this— it cuts on both sides. So the thing about this book, which is why people stray away— hear me— from real relationship with this book is because— hear me— they don't want to get cut. But if you really want to change, yeah, you'll crack open this book and get a real relationship with this book. Most people that don't read the Bible, it's a trick of the enemy and they don't even know it because a lot of the habits, the things they do, the lifestyle they live, the sin, the lust, the illicit desires, the illegal things they do, the soul ties, a lot of that stuff ain't broke in their life because they won't get in the word. Listen, and I'm a witness that God can break sin out of your life. He can cut— because I was— I have lived in sin. Even since I've been saved, I have made mistakes. I've needed deliverance. But the greatest deliverance you could ever receive comes when this two-edged sword starts cutting stuff out of your life that doesn't belong. Let me tell you something, it's a two-edged sword. It'll cut you up, it'll get the things off of you that shouldn't be there. I mean, detail. It'll cut you out into that person that God has called you to be. It'll make you become that person, man. Oh my God, it'll cut you. It'll cut the details so you become the person that God called you to be. Wow. I'm for real, man. It just will. It just will. It just will. Ah, devil, you're a liar. I hate you. Listen, it also cuts off things, people that don't fit in your life. You really start walking in the word. I've seen this happen in my life. It'll cut away every person and everything that doesn't line up with your level of thinking. Your level of being and doing right. They won't want to stay around because the word will constantly be cutting them, because your lifestyle will— glory to the— either they're going to adhere and allow the word to cut things off of them instead of cutting them away, or the word is going to remove them. Oh God, it removes situations, it removes context from your life. It's a sword that cuts. Oh boy, watch this. The Bible said this sword pierces even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit. Now we're tripartite beings. We're body, we're soul, and we're spirit. Glory to God. So the word of God— listen to this— that's why I'm telling you, this, this stream, everything's set up perfectly, all right? In this studio. It got attacked because the— I'm telling you, it's called atmospheric disturbance. The enemy did not want people to grab this, but I'm telling you, the devil is a liar. I'm teaching it anyway, and I'm believing God that it's going to get shared and people are going to grab this because we're tripartite beings. We're body, we're soul, we're spirit. Most people live— watch this— from their soul-ical man, which is the inner man. Your spirit is the innermost man. Your spirit is Zoe life. Your soul is psuche life, psychological life— your mind, your will, your emotions. Your body is bios life, bio— biological life, or bios life, which is your flesh, which is empowered— watch this— by invisible things. Nothing you do, glory to God, is empowered by what is seen. Hear this, nothing you do is empowered by what the seen world is showing. I'm gonna say that one more time. Nothing you do is empowered by what the seen world is showing. It's empowered by something in the invisible world. So your, your Zoe life is the life of the spirit, your God kind of life. God breathed pneuma, the breath of life into you. You became a living soul. Your soul your thoughts, your mind, your will, your senses came alive. And now every time you make a move, watch this, whether you're looking, touching, thinking, whether you're running, exercising, eating, tasting something, it is a result of something that happened in the realm of the spirit. Now here's what the word of God does according to the text. It divides asunder soul and spirit. It gives a line of demarcation between that which is spirit and that which is soul. And what happens is because the word is spirit— oh my God— because the word is spirit, it separates— glory to the name of God— the soul and spirit and begins to give orders to the soul from the innermost man. Hallelujah. It begins to tell your spirit to have faith, your soul to have faith when you want to doubt. When the word is in there, that's why faith come by hearing. So it goes through your bios, your ear gate. That's all this is, is a gate. There's nothing— if you cut this ear off, it's gonna die. There's nothing inside of this ear that makes it live. It was designed as a gate. So when word goes in this gate, oh my God, it goes into your spirit. That's why you got to guard this gate. Your eyes are a gate, your mouth is a gate. You got to watch what you look at, you got to watch what you say, you got to watch what you're listening to, and you got to make sure your gates are controlled. And, and then, and listen, most of the time you want word-based things coming through your gates. Oh, I'm so glad y'all are finding where I'm at. Glory to God. God bless y'all. Glory to God. I'm telling you, the devil is a liar. I love all you. God bless you, Apostle Peterson. God bless you, Pastor Jeffrey. God bless you, Belinda. God bless you, Prudence. God bless everybody that's on here. Glory to God. And this is triggering the enemy to make people not listen to this word because, glory to the name of God, they, they, they, they got everything else going into their gates, all the negativity in their gates, all the fear-based religion going in their gates, all of the fear-based news and journalism going in their gates, and their life is being governed in the realm of the soul by what they're letting in the gates. But when you let Spirit in, it feeds Holy Spirit that's in you, and your faith increase, because faith comes by hearing, hearing. And hearing by the word of God. Open your gates, man, and let the word in. Tell you, that's— oh my God. So it divides the soul. It divides it so the— so that the spirit man is running the house in faith through the words you're receiving. So now your reaction to life is not out of your soulish man. It's not soulish. Most of our reactions are soulish. It's emotional, it's intellectual, and based in cultural era that goes against the word of God. But the word divides it. That's why you got to keep hearing this word, keep putting that word in, and so you can walk in it. That's what we're talking about today, walking in the word. I dare you type in the comments, I'm walking in the word, I'm walking in the word, I'm walking in the word. Oh, yes God, here we go. He said, divine discerners of the joints and the marrow. There it is, the body. And is a discerner of the thoughts and the intents of the heart. See, when you're a word-based person, mm-hmm, and you walking in the word, it's hard for you to do things that are against the word and the word not interject its opinion. Now, God will never violate your will, but what the word will do is give you a balance when you're thinking about doing something that goes against his plan. And I'm not just talking about sin, I'm talking about— well, doubt is a sin. So yeah, when you're talking about doing something, harmesia is sin in Greek, missing the mark, that's going to come short of the glory. The word is there to balance your mind out. I said, look, don't do that, don't touch that, don't say that, don't go with them, don't talk to them, don't open yourself up to that because it goes against God's plan for your life. But you got to be a person that's— yeah, that's walking in the word. Hallelujah! Glory to God! Woo! Hallelujah! It discerns the thoughts and the intents of your heart. Do you know the Bible says the heart is desperately wicked? It's not this heart that's 6 inches below the collarbone. This word heart is kardia in Greek, and it's the center of your moral being. It's your feelings, it's your passion. Glory to the name of God. It's the thing— watch this— that regulates what comes out of your spirit. So while the heart itself alone is desperately wicked and always looking to do some wicked stuff, when the word is in there, the word will flow through there and cause your heart to make the right decisions, and out of your body will flow the right thing. Let me tell you something, sex, fornication, adultery, sex outside of the legal parameters of sex doesn't start in the bed. As a matter of fact, By the time you get into bed, it's almost over, and quicker for some people than others. But that's a whole nother teaching for another day. But at the end of the day, glory to God, it's almost over by the time you get to the bed. Sex starts with a spirit of fornication that is processed through the heart and manifests out of the the outer man, the body. And it works with the intent in the wicked heart that was already there. But man, I'm telling you, I'm a witness. I used to be bound big time by fornication. Thank God, glory to God, hallelujah. I ain't bound no more. Thank God, I'm delivered, I'm free. Glory to God. And he who the Son sets free is free indeed, man. I had, I had a fornication demon bad. But God, glory to Hashimando, he delivered and set me free and gave me a wife that loves to make love to me. Thank you, Jesus. Glory to God. Thank you, Jesus. Glory to his great name. Yes, God, I know somebody said, oh, I can't believe Paul said it. Yeah, yeah, I want you to understand. Glory to God. Listen, that only way you start moving in wicked emotions, wicked responses, is you don't allow the word to discern the intents of your heart and obey what the word is telling you to do when it comes. Okay, that was Hebrews 4:12. That was one of the scriptures from 5 o'clock prayer this morning. That took what, almost 20 minutes? But that's how the Lord was giving them to me this morning. Let's go, let's go to 1 Peter 3, verse 12. Come on. Let's walk this thing out. 1 Peter 3:12. Oh boy, oh boy, watch this. For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous. Lord, help us today. I love it. And his ears are open to their prayers, but the face of the Lord are against them that do evil. So again, the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous. Who is the righteous? The word righteous there is dikaios, dikaios, and dikaios means glory to God, those who are virtuous— watch this— in keeping the word of God. So the eyes of the Lord— wait a minute, wait a minute, wait one minute— glory to God, the eyes of Jesus are over those that walk in the word. Oh, he's observing those who observe his word, who observe his constitution. God has— he's fixed on you. Good God, his eyes are over you. He's got you covered, and he won't ever allow the word to fail you because you diokeios, because you observe the word in your day-to-day living. And again, I'm not just talking about the word that keeps you from committing some quote-unquote, as some people call them, big sin, but I'm talking about coming short in your faith, coming short in love, coming short in joy, leaning on your flesh. You got to make sure that you're observing the word. He said his ears are open. When you observe the word, God's ears are open to your prayers. Even— watch, this is why we pray the word. Oh my goodness, oh my goodness. When I pray the word, God watches over that word, man. He watches over that word to perform it, to bring it to pass in my life. And the Bible said, but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil. Well, let me break that down real quick. Kakas in Greek, which is evil. And this word means those that have a mode of thinking, a base that is wrong. Watch this, not just, it's wicked, wrong, out of order, troublesome, pernicious, destructive, painful. Watch this, doubting. So it's evil to have a doubting nature. It's painful, it's destructive. You're destroying your life when you live, hear me, against the word. Oh, Jesus, my God. Today I gotta go. It's evil when you choose to live outside of God's plan and take life and matters into your own hands. Let's keep reading Colossians. Glory to God. 3. I hope y'all getting something out of this. Glory to God. The devil is a liar. We're going to share to share this so that people can get it, because people think this is just some religious book that preachers can read and get a good sermon out of, give you 3 points, and then hoop you to death and not teach you how to live out of this book. I— listen, I'm a Pentecostal preacher, so I love to preach, man. I hoop and all that stuff, but at the end of the day, you don't get taught the word before I do any of that. Because when I start shaking a mic and preaching, that's me giving my praise back to God. I'm through teaching. Praise God. That's me giving God glory through my gift. But at the end of the day, man, we need to learn how to walk out this book. Colossians 3 and verse 16, let's read it, man, let's read it. Oh, glory to God. Shema, watch this. Let the word of Christ— it is again logic, the logos, the thoughts, the breathe-out words of God dwell, take up residence, live in you richly. Okay, let's stop right there. Plousis. Richly is plousis. P-L-O-U-S-I-S. Plousis. This word means abundantly and with no lack. So when somebody is rich with finances, they don't worry about nothing, right? Because money is not an issue, definitely. Because they can pretty much buy what they want. Well, but the Bible says here, let the word dwell in you, let it live in you in abundance, let it supersede every other thought, every other entity, every other idea. I mean, can you honestly say that the word outweighs every thought, every plan, every mode of operation that you move in? Come on, be honest with yourself. You don't have to raise your hands, you don't have to type it in the comments. Glory to God. But be honest with yourself, because you know there are times, and on certain things, where what you do is, is instead of trusting the word because it's not there richly, you lean to your own understanding. Uh-oh. Proverbs 3: Lean not to your own understanding, but in all thy ways acknowledge the Lord, and he will direct your path. Acknowledge. Acknowledge. Ack means to open up to or to be acquiesced to the knowledge, the thoughts, the word of God. So in all your ways, consult the word. Yeah, not just say, God, acknowledge you, and then you go do what you want to do. No, no, that's not what that says. Okay, God, I acknowledge you, then you go do what you feel. No, there is a solution for what you're trying to do in the word, but you got to let it dwell in you in abundance. So you acknowledge, you open yourself up to the influence of the word so that the word can direct your path. Ain't nothing spooky about this. You say, God, please direct my path in this. And you waiting for him to speak or to show you this sign on what you need to do. He already gave you the sign. It's 66 books. You just gotta get off your lazy gluteus maximus and go ahead and get in the word for real and let it dwell in you richly. Like, man, my mama, my mama, glory. I love oatmeal today 'cause my mama, One, no, always eating no cereal every day for breakfast going to school. Mama would get up and put some oatmeal or some cream of wheat in my body, and she said, you need to eat something this morning. You don't need to eat that cereal. That's gonna stick to you. That you— that's gonna stick to you. Glory to God. All day long. And let me tell you something, I never got hungry before lunchtime at school because that oatmeal stayed with my bones. Glory to God. Rich food stay with you. Glory to God. And listen, if you eat in abundance, it'll stay with you in more ways than one. But you got to make up in your mind you're gonna let this word dwell in you in abundance. I got to get out of here, man. He said, watch this, he said, in all wisdom. So Sophia in Greek there. So when you're Sophia, Sophia, wisdom broad and full of intelligence. You know, I wonder why, you know, the, the, the connotation for the word wisdom is the word Sophia, which is a feminine word, that women are a lot of times a lot more, uh, they, they mature a lot faster. Glory to God, they are, uh, full of intelligence, they're patient. Listen, the wisdom that belongs to men, glory to the name of God, oftentimes is abrasive. Oftentimes it's straight and direct. Men talk in lines, women talk in circles, because in their wisdom they'll keep talking around a thing and say it a lot of different ways until they can resolve what their wisdom is telling them. Glory to God. Yeah, at the end of the day, it's an intelligence. That's what this wisdom is. So in your intelligence, in your sharing, let your intelligence— the Bible says Be girded by the word in your teaching. God knows if you teach in the word, you need to have an abundance of word in you. How can you teach other people the Bible and you don't know the Bible yourself? Once again, once again, get up off your lazy gluteus maximus. Stop looking at YouTube to preach and preaching everybody else sermons. And you study to preach listening to another preacher? No, study to preach by studying the word. I think that's what the Apostle Paul said to Timothy. He says, study to show yourself approved, a workman that need not be ashamed. Here we go, rightfully, accurately dividing the word of truth. You can't accurately divide the word of truth if you don't study the word of truth. Not you listen to your favorite preacher and pull some stuff out of his sermon and then you preach it. That's lazy. That's lazy, people. And listen, let me tell you, let me tell you something. You better get in that book, man, and you better let God talk to you out of that book. Let the abundance of the word eat— not just in preaching, but in everyday life. If you're teaching your children, teach them out of the word. Watch this, that even when we admonish one another, even when we're edifying and building one another up, let it come from the word. Because why? It's life, and it's the thoughts of God. You can't mess with the thoughts of God. Let me tell you, God is smarter than you on any day. Yeah, he's smarter than you on any day of the week. I'm gonna say that one more time. God is smarter than you on any day of the weak. Believe that, brother. Believe that, sis. God's intelligence is past finding out. The Bible says his thoughts are not our thoughts, his ways are not our ways, and that his ways are past finding out. Just when you think you got him figured out, he'll bust a move and do something else, and his intelligence will come in a back door and blow your mind. Because guess what? He's smarter than us. And when you really get in the book, you get to know him, you get to know his thoughts, you get to know his mind, you get to know how he moves. Are y'all catching any of this today? I hope y'all learning something, man. Let's go to Joshua 1:8. Glory to God. Wait a minute, let me just keep reading it. I'm sorry. And marshaling one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your heart. Let me touch that, because the songs that we sing Uh-oh. In our churches, in life, should be based in the word. When we're admonishing each other, when we're worshiping God together corporately, we should sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs. All we want to do is sing spiritual songs. Some of y'all have no idea what a hymn is. Somebody say, who's him? What is— what— who's him? Glory to Himnos in Greek. Glory to God. And it is a song in praise to God. It is a sacred song written from pain. Glory to God. Written from struggle. And whether you like it or not, you can say it's religious all you want, but at the end of the day, I don't care how deep and wonderful you say you are, hymns have their place in the church. Hymnos in Greek. Glory to God. Because people wrote those songs out of pain, out of a historical struggle. And watch this, they're based in word. You should— if it ain't Bible-based, don't sing. I don't care if it's a hymn or a so-called spiritual song, it needs to be based in word because that's what the Bible is saying. It needs to be based in abundance a richness of the word. Glory to God. Singing these songs— did y'all watch the Grammys? Absolutely ridiculous display of demonic expression from the secular side. Uh-oh. And the so-called gospel side. It's a shame that if I'm looking at the Grammys, the only people I— oh my God, I'm beyond sorry— that I enjoy watching because it was wholesome Well, Stevie Wonder— ah, God have mercy! And then you have all these gospel people on there that drop the ball. Please share it with them, tag them in it. Kirk Franklin, all of them. They want to be worldly so bad. Nothing based in the word. Demonic displays. Ah, okay, let me go, let me go, cause, um, yeah. Yeah, y'all want to talk about that. Okay, let's keep moving, let's keep moving, let's keep moving. Joshua 1:8. I'm almost through. Hallelujah, God! I got 15 minutes. Joshua 1:8. Glory to God. Josh, stay with me, don't leave. Glory to God. The Bible says the book of the law, the word, shall not depart out of your mouth. So wait a minute, you should keep the word this constitution, the kingdom law, in your mouth. God, God, because faith cometh by hearing. You should constantly, instead of speaking negative to a situation, speak the word to it. This— Joshua said, this book ain't departing out of my mouth. You know, people that cuss, they're doing themselves such a disservice. They think it's just so cool. Uh, even preachers that get up and say little cuss words in the pulpit, they think that Okay, I'm appealing to people, I'm relating to them because I'm talking like them. No, you're— you don't have good sense. That's your problem. Uh, I told y'all, wait a minute, I'm an apostle every day, right? So yeah, you don't have good sense because you're not— you have to be an example of what the— what it means to keep the word in your mouth. Do you know when you use that in the pulpit, they think that it's okay for them to use that in their small conversation? Uh, I got an individual, I love the brother dearly, and, uh, God has taught me to open my mind in balance in a way so that my light can— and if he ever opens his heart, he's going to be a great, great man. And, and get out of arrogance and humble himself, he's going to be a great, great man. Glory to God. And, uh, be able to walk out the things of God in a very powerful way. Uh, but whenever we're on a golf course, this man's mouth is terrible. He curses. And you know, first I was feeling some kind of way, but the Lord said, don't get offended at that. I need you to be a light because there's something in you he needs and he can't get it if you operate in offense. So I keep the word in my mouth. Yeah, while he's keeping cussing in his mouth. And the word is gonna win. And every time I say something out of the word, you know, he said, yeah, you're right, Pastor, you're right. You know, it shifts his atmosphere. And if he stay around me, that cussing gonna turn to word. But if I join the party and start cussing at him— and let me tell you something, I ain't forgot how to cuss. I haven't, I haven't. And listen, honestly, sometimes that little golf ball will make you want to cuss. Glory to God. You think you did everything right, but you have to bring that under subjection and keep the word on your lips. Glory to God. Hallelujah. So don't let it run, depart out of your mouth. But watch this, the Bible said you shall meditate therein day and night. So how do I keep it in my mouth? By through meditation. So when I get the word and I hear the word, I meditate. I don't just let it go in one ear and go out the other, but I meditate on it. The word meditate— oh, here we go, here we go, y'all ready? Haggai, H-A-G-G-A-H, akin to the prophet Haggai. It means okoti ansai. It means to moan over, growl over, utter, it means to chew it up. Watch this. Swallow it, regurgitate it, chew some more, swallow it again until the word becomes an innate part of you, until you're acting out every part of that word every single time. Oh, we— good God Almighty. Watch this. The Bible says when you do this, hallelujah, you'll be able to observe, to do it according to all that is written in it. See, people that can't do the book don't meditate on the book. I'm not talking about just holy living neither. I'm talking about experiencing every aspect of abundance that this book offers, from your wealth, from your finances, from happiness in your relationships. Oh, he said you better do what's in it, for then thou shalt— uh-oh, wait a minute— make your way prosperous. You got to walk in the word, man. Oh my God, somebody said, oh, here we go again. Tesalak. Yeah, tesalak. Tesalak. It means you'll break out You'll advance, you'll make progress, you will be profitable, you will bring— oh my God— experience to others that believing in the word, tisalah, will cause you to prosper. People be saying this, they be killing me, man. They be saying something because they heard somebody else say it, so they'll go to singing and worship, tisalah, tisalah. And every state, and you know, they don't even know what it means. But tisa lak in Hebrew, glory to God, means that you will have prosperity, you will increase. But you got to keep the word in your mouth. You got to walk in the word. That's how you walk in it— keep it in your mouth. Oh God, I gotta go, y'all. He said, and then thou will have good success, profitable Good is bana. Success is sakal, S-A-K-A-L, and it means glory to the name of God. You'll be prudent, you will prosper, you are— your success will come honestly. Hallelujah! Great attention will be on you. You will have insight on how to give others success because you're profitable and you can teach others to be profitable. That's why my, my challenge every day is to become more and more profitable in faith, in the word, so I can teach you how to do the same thing, so that you can increase and have increase in every area of your life because you keep the word in your mouth and you walk in the word. My time is gone, y'all. Let's pray. Father, in Jesus' name, Even though the enemy tried to stop this teaching through technical difficulties at the beginning, Father, I thank you for the diligence to even press through. The diligent soul is made fat. I pray that your people that's on this line would be bold enough to share it, because there's so many people that do not have the word. Some of them never share, God. They watch it live or by replay, they never share it. But God, I'm praying today that you would do something in them that will cause them to be a blessing to somebody else. Because people don't know how to walk in the word, and God knows we can't experience overflow in finances, overflow in our faith, if we do not walk in the word. Father, I'm asking you today, let the word dwell in your people richly so that we can move forward and establish your covenant on this earth. In Jesus' name, amen. And thanks be to God.
