The Silent Threat: The Truth About Mercury Fillings and Your Health
23 Nov 2024 · 52 min
Dr. David Kennedy, a dentist and activist, discusses mercury dangers in dental amalgam fillings with host Dr. Sanda Moldovan. Mercury exposure causes neurological and cardiovascular damage, with autopsy data linking brain mercury levels to the number of fillings. Kennedy advocates for removal and chelation therapy, noting genetic factors make some people unable to excrete mercury.

Hi everybody, I'm Dr. Sanda Moldovan, periodontist and nutritionist. Welcome to the Holistic Dentistry Podcast, the show that gives you the tips and tools to detoxify your mouth for a healthier body as we explore together the root cause of disease. Remember, you're not healthy until your mouth is healthy, so take care of it in the most natural way. Hello everyone. Welcome to today's show all about mercury dangers, mercury toxicity, and what can you do about it. And I'm so excited with my guest today, Dr. David Kennedy. He is a thought leader and a well-recognized leader in the field of preventative dentistry. He's been really spending years of his life fighting against the toxicity of mercury to bring awareness not only for the general public, but for dental students. For the dentist and for all of those in the dental profession that are actually breathing in mercury every single day. And, you know, there's still a lot to be done in this field because there's still a lot of people getting toxic every day from mercury fillings. But I believe it's a good time in the world to have awareness and change the world. So thank you, Dr. Kennedy, for joining me today.
Well, thank you for having me, Sandra Moldovanova.
You were a lieutenant in the Navy and you placed, you were saying, over 100 mercury fillings daily for 2 years.
At least.
What was that like?
It's called the amalgam line. Is that they line their recruits up and take full mouth x-rays and then you hand you a list of things to fix and go to work. And, uh, You know, I think typically I was spending around 3 minutes of surface. And so, you know, you're, you're at the chair for 8 hours a day, so you can do a lot of work. The one of the best things about the Navy is that I was working underneath the guy named Rubber Dam Hickey, and he insisted everybody, but everybody, no exceptions, used rubber dam on everything. And he didn't want to find any tools dropped down recruits' mouths or tongues sliced up or cheeks cut out. And so everybody had to use a rubber dam. And I was struggling to put it on. I love them, but I was learning. And a new graduate and my assistant said, go drink some coffee, come back in 5 minutes.
It's great.
I had her.
Yeah, that's some protection for the patient.
You know, it protects against the mercury too, because that dam keeps you from inhaling the junk that's going on. I mean, it's insane to put mercury fillings in people's teeth. I mean, that's just— why are they putting 50 million new fillings in a year now in this country? It's beyond stupid. Anyway, yeah, but I agree, the rubber dam keeps bolus doses of mercury from going down the airway. The terrible, terrible exposure area is the lung 'cause the lung will absorb almost all of it. And so who gets sick the first are the staff and the dentists because they're inhaling it all day long. And that was actually when my lecture started on dental personnel and occupational injury from mercury. And that was 1987. And, you know, it, it's just become more obvious since then. Actually, one at the Supreme Court level in Norway, 450 dental assistants are paid back approximately, I think, $500,000 per assistant if they worked in the dental office that wasn't following OSHA guidelines. And they're women, and you can prove injury. and they did at the University of Utah.
Wow.
Measured them.
So because they got intoxicated with mercury vapors from the patients, obviously, uh, they ended up getting paid by the Norway government for their injury. This is major. This is a major win.
Well, the, the Norway government was the employer.
Yeah.
You know, the, it, yes, it was a government entity that ended up coughing up the cash. But the liability goes to the person that hired them. And so that applies worldwide because it is codified in law, is that the employer has the obligation to give informed consent, protect the employee, measure the facility, and minimize exposure. None of that was going on. They were in what I call denial, exactly like your dental school training. Oh, you know, just, it's the safe kind of mercury. We actually did have a dental professor said that 2 years ago in a scientific conference, and all the scientists about fell out of their seats because there is no safe kind of mercury.
Right, exactly. And I remember when I was in dental school, I was given, you know, a typodont, you know, basically for those who are listening who didn't go to dental school, it's a jaw with plastic teeth. So on that, and we weren't even using gloves. We're just— we're handling the mercury straight up, then you were drilling on it and all those vapors, you know, intoxicating all the dental students. And we had no idea. Nobody informed us that it was mercury vapors coming off the teeth. And actually, a lot of people probably listening to the show have no idea that mercury vapors come off the silver fillings, or so-called, you know, silver fillings. How did you become aware? Yeah, how did you become aware of toxicity? Because, you know, when you went to the Army, to the US Navy, you didn't know right away that mercury was toxic.
You know, no, I didn't. And I was, I was the guy that was supposed to get the offices down to 100. 100 parts per million was what they were getting the offices down to, and all of them were over that. The EPA won't let the air outside be above 0.3. And no business can be above 100 without evacuating. And you're not supposed to be in there at all unless you've got a respirator and gowns and gloves and all that stuff. We're in there in shirt sleeves, you know, so it's, it's not like we were being very careful. But, you know, the, the fact that they couldn't achieve that was interesting. Um, we, we had a, a trailer we'd pull up to the ships at 32nd Street And it was so contaminated, they took all the equipment out, filled it full of sulfur, let it sit in the sun for a year, and it was still over 100. And with nothing in it. So, you know, that mercury had seeped into the seams and all that stuff. And it did the same thing to a dentist in El Cajon. It got in the floorboards. And so when he sold his business to the accountant, the accountant became ill and his physician cleverly diagnosed him as mercury poisoning. He said, "How could that happen?" I did buy this old dental office.
Oh, wow. I had no idea that the mercury vapor actually stays in the floors.
If you read carefully, even the American Dollar Association, ADA, says that the floor should be impenetrable, you know, like linoleum, like a hospital with the sides curved up like this so that if you spill something, it'll all funnel into a connector. They don't do that. They have carpet and other stuff, which is more or less insane. But, um, that's true. But the deception actually starts in the schools because they lie to you. They tell you that it's not a problem, it's not a risk, there's, you know, no danger. I'm sure as a woman you weren't warned about the infertility, birth defects. But it causes a very specific heart defect. Mercury does. It causes a heart defect where there's a hole in the middle of the heart. And the fingers of a mercury-poisoned fetus, if they live to adulthood, they're short and round. The fingernail is perfectly round. And so it's in Tortoise's lawsuit in Sweden, one of the ladies had a child who's since passed away, but it had all of the, obviously a mercury-poisoned fetus. So.
Wow. So, you know, we have dental students that are actually listening to this show. What can they do? They're already in school. They actually have the requirements to deal with mercury without ventilation or without a suction. Is there anything they can do to file a complaint?
It's against the law. And so I did this for you. Matter of fact, every dental school in the United States already has received on record what's called actual notice. I sent a letter in 2015 to every dental school. I had completed a series of conversations, Janet Napolitano, the California education system, and the dental schools, and they clearly were not in compliance with the rules of California. They claimed they were in compliance with OSHA. They weren't in compliance with OSHA either. And so I sent actual notice to every dental school that they can't use OSHA on students. Students are protected by EPA. And so they actually have that in their files, or I have it in mine because they were sent with a return receipt and a signature. So every dental school in the United States, the clock is ticking. Everybody, 10 years ago, 9 years ago, everybody that was running a dental school in the United States should have consulted their attorney. Can we expose students to levels of mercury that are unlawful and not expect some kind of liability down the line? How long does our liability hang out? Until they discovered they were poisoned.
Yeah. So basically right now every dental student can claim if they do end up with high mercury toxicity, the dentist, dental schools were informed, so they know.
They don't have to be poisoned. If the school isn't compliant with the rules of an education institution, and no institution of higher learning can expose students to mercury, period. So you cannot legally open that capsule in the presence of a student because they're not employees. OSHA applies to employees. So unless they hire the student to work in the school, they're not covered by OSHA. If they did hire the student, they would give an informed consent, give them a respirator and a gown and glove. We're going to show them a little bit, which is the requirement. You can't just stand like me, and— but we did. And, and they're pretending like that, that, you know, they don't know any better. But in their file cabinet, they have actual notice from an attorney, uh, Jim Love in Tulsa. And I sent this out, and one of our volunteers kept very close records of who signed for it, who picked it up, and all that stuff. It's available for the attorneys that are going to basically stop this foolishness, because they're not going to stop it willingly. There's 200 years of, of arguing, and like Boyd Haley says, it's like the 7-year argument with the town drunk. They're not making sense. I mean, you know, really, we put mercury fillings in sheep and the mercury spread from the tooth in that sheep to the hoof in 30 days. So clearly the rhetoric that was coming out that the mercury was locked into the filling was incorrect in the case of a sheep. And the ADA said sheep chew too much.
Oh my goodness. Oh, well.
And so the The next experiment, which was actually underway at that time, they took a sheep as an example because it's about the same size as a human, but they did monkeys, and the same thing happened to the monkeys, and monkeys only got bananas. So, you know, so, so they haven't said a word about the monkeys, but every, every time you put mercury in any kind of animal you can find the mercury spreading from that tooth actually two ways. It comes three ways, comes off as particulates going through the intestines, comes off the vapor going into the lungs and into the circulation through all the parts of the body. And it comes ionically down into the jawbone and throughout the mandible and into the body. And I guess four ways because Stotemaker showed that it goes retrograde up the nerve system. So the trigeminal nerve, it'll run backwards through that. There's a circulation system in nerves, which is a surprise to most people, but Stotebeker actually proved that with the dye in the tooth and you could slice them up and show them where it went. So anyway, so there's multiple exposure routes and all of those exposures exceed the level that would be safe. We did the, the risk analysis for the FDA at their third and final meeting 10 years, 15 years ago on the, on the subject and blew their socks off. 'Cause everybody that, where you have a, a protective measure by a government agency like California OSHA, everybody with even one filling exceeds that. And that means every person that's ever had a mercury filling got a bolus dose of mercury. And, and That's if one of the city councils irritated, a citizen was irritated and he broke a thermometer and threw the mercury around the seats of the city council people. And they arrested him for attempted murder. So the mercury in the thermometer is the same as the fillings.
That is so true. So all you need is one mercury filling in your mouth and pretty much you got a good You got a bolus dose.
And what's interesting is, is that my grandfather was a dentist, only lived to be 93. My dad was a dentist, lived to be 100, used to mix it in his hand. Mercury doesn't bother some people, and that, that would lead you to think mercury doesn't bother anyone. And that's not true. Mercury just blows some people completely up. I mean, just minute exposures. And they're what are called non-excretors. We even know the genetic SNPs that are lined up with this kind of stuff. And you know them too, MTHFR, APOE4, CPOX4. And so what if you had all of those? Oh, you're in deep trouble. And there are people that have all of those. There's nothing wrong with them. They're perfectly healthy as long as you don't expose them to heavy metals.
That's right. And that's the thing with the world of personalizing dentistry. It would be nice to be able to test these genetics on people coming in to see and see why they're not feeling well. Because I think a lot of dentists right now are removing mercury, mercury unsafely, not using the SMART technique by IOMT. I think that's the norm still today. And how does that compare, removing mercury unsafely versus placing it? Do we get the same amount of exposure at removal or more so?
About the same. And which is interesting because the FDA says removing the filling is dangerous. But they haven't explained how it was safe to put it in. You know, I call it the schizophrenic warning. You know, if it's unsafe to take it out, gosh, I would like to know how it was safe to get it in. I mean, you know, it seems like it, use of that material should cease. And 50 million new ones last year, every year for years. So they say, oh, the use has gone down. Well, you know, half the people in the world say, I don't want the black fillings in my teeth. And, you know, they're still calling them silver. They're not silver. I had a dentist saying, whoa, whoa, we just call them silver because they're silver colored. And I said, you know, I bought my wife a gold wedding ring and it turned her finger green. I know you sold me copper and the copper colored, and that would be fraud. So if you want to call something silver that's not silver, then you are probably guilty of fraud.
Exactly.
Absolutely. So that's a 200-year-old lie.
Yeah. And I suffered from mercury toxicity myself. I grew up in Romania, so I had 16 large mercury fillings in my mouth. I didn't feel well. I had all kinds of, you know, GI problems. And then I decided when I went to residency at UCLA to have them removed because I didn't like the color. And I got so sick. I removed all 16 of them within a couple of months. I really did not feel well, and it took me a while to even realize that it was the fillings, because in dental school, nowhere is it ever mentioned that, hey, breathing in this vapor is toxic. So, and I run into this problem where dentists don't believe it because they weren't taught in school. I have comments, you probably have comments on your YouTube channel of dentists saying, what are you talking about? Mercury fillings are totally safe. It's the same amount from the fillings that you get from drinking water and eating fish. Well, what—
yeah, I have heard that, and we disproved it, uh, with autopsies. Uh, my, uh, uh, colleague David Eggleston, uh, did autopsies in Los Angeles. And if you got shot or car wrecked or died for some unknown reason in Los Angeles, David made a deal with the coroner to measure how much mercury was in your brain. Kidneys, and teeth. And, uh, so that became part of a normal autopsy in Los Angeles. And that was a beautiful thing because he and his dental assistants go down and get parts of the brain and do dental exams and send them off. And the amount of mercury in your brain the day you die is proportional to the number of mercury fillings you got in your teeth. And that, uh, so yeah, yeah, yeah, fish, and yeah, yeah, yeah, for the rest of the lives, but You know, unless those people and his controls, the liars like to cheat by making the controls wrong, but David didn't want to cheat. So he used the best controls in the world. He used people that had 32 teeth with no fillings of any kind. So it wasn't somebody used to have mercury fillings and had them replaced. They were, or had a tooth with a mercury filling had extracted. They had 32 perfect teeth, no fillings of any kind. That was his control. And they had by far the lowest amount of mercury in the brain. So end of story, the World Health Organization considered that and concluded that David Eggleston and our academy was correct. And that's 1990. So why are we arguing about this today is because vested interests that are making money on welfare dentistry, military dentistry, and the Army, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, Public Health Service, Indian Service are all still using mercury fillings willy-nilly. And that they're not going to listen to anything we say or anybody else says because some bean counter someplace has concluded it's cheaper to put mercury in people's teeth because it costs 15 cents less. What if their brain falls apart and you have to buy them an electric wheelchair? I can't tell you. I spoke at the ALS conference. I can't tell you how many people came rolling up to me in their wheelchair saying they were doing a little bit better until they got their fillings out, and then they haven't been the same since. And that they're non-excretors. We know what's wrong with them. They should never have been exposed to mercury. And that's why you have to stop exposing people to mercury. It's a crime. And there's no mercury in the water. So they're making stuff up to try to distract you. You may have seen that in the politics of today is, oh, look over here, there's a monkey and an elephant having a fight. You know, oh, okay, let's watch that. But don't get distracted. Mercury has always been a poison, always will be a poison, should not be in your fish, but it is. Shouldn't be in your fillings, but it is. And shouldn't be in your vaccines, and it is. So there's denial going on, but if you ask specific questions, does the flu vaccine have mercury in it? Why, some of it does. Okay, how many did you make without it? 10 million. How many did you make it with it? 270 million. So your chances of you getting one without it are really low.
So that's right. And why, why did they even put mercury in vaccines?
I think there's different theories. One of them is they're trying to limit the longevity of the human being. The other is that they wanna sell you lots of drugs for all the pain that it causes because mercury screws with everything in your body. There's no way of telling what organ is gonna get screwed, but we can guarantee it will screw up every organ in the human body cuz it interferes with your fundamental functions of the body. And so the— it could be a work of the devil, I suppose, if we were to go to think about the higher consciousnesses. Or maybe it's just stupidity. I think, I think I'm going to vote for the S-word.
Yeah. So, so what is it that we can do? You know, I, I was just reading that the European Union actually, starting January, they're banning all mercury fillings being placed in the European Union. Do you think that's going to happen for, uh, for us in the United States?
Uh, well, the largest trade association in dentistry is fighting against that tooth and nail. The fact that they also own insurance companies that pay for mercury fillings might mean there's a conflict of interest. I didn't— we might want to consider that they're not an unbiased source of information. And they were dismissed from a lawsuit for a a dentist, a doctor, a chiropractor who was injured by mercury fillings, and that the ADA argued in court in San Francisco they owe no duty of care to the public. They are a trade association. They represent the industry of dentistry, and that they don't certify amalgam is safe. They don't certify mercury is safe. That's other people's jobs. They owe no duty of care to you. So why would we listen to anything they say about our health? Good point. They got to worry about their health. Okay. But so they're from Chicago.
So which organization really is in charge of saying, okay, now we're banning mercury?
Well, that would be the Food and Drug Administration. And that I've been to— they've had 5 meetings. I've been to 4 of them. And that the most recent one was in 2010. We beat their socks off every time. But in 2010, we again beat them. And it was a kangaroo court. All the deciders were dentists and we still beat 'em. So what did they do? They denied that it was a problem for another 14 years, see, 2020, 10 years. And on Friday afternoon about midnight, 9/24/2020, Jeff Shuren, a physician in charge of the dental, Materials Division of the FDA put up a little notice on the website that, uh, warning to people that might have an injury from having dental amalgam in their teeth, and that's all women who can get pregnant, all children. And then it went on to say if you've got a long list of neurological, immunological, cardiovascular, and nephrological kidney disease, don't get any new ones. But don't get the old ones out 'cause that's dangerous. So I call that the schizophrenic warning. If you Google dental amalgam safety FDA, then it'll take you to this website that says, oh, they're tickety-boo and they're just wonderful and they're shiny silver and there's just no problem at all with 'em. And if you do dental amalgam warning, it takes these other ones, says, you know, if you got cancer or MS or ALS, I don't think they left cancer out. I would include cancer, but I don't think they did. But anyway, MS, ALS, Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, all the neurological diseases. And that's because it has been known for 2,000 years that mercury ruins the brain. And so that was actually Boyd Haley's work. For 30 years, he dissected brains of people that died of some neurological disease, focusing on elderly diseases primarily. And when he got to Alzheimer's, every single thing that was wrong with an Alzheimer brain He could trace right back to mercury. And so, so we get, oh, it might be the aluminum, or, oh, it's probably the radiation from the solar flares. And, you know, not true. And the way we can say it's not true is that by 1997, with the help of the IMT, we put animals in a cage and make them inhale mercury vapor, like, you know, being a dentist. And all of them developed the lesions of Alzheimer's disease. It was a 6-month study, so it wasn't like we let them get old and gray. But actually, the rat only lives 2 years, so 6 months is a quarter of its life.
Yeah, that's really disturbing. Within 6 months that they develop Alzheimer's disease.
Yeah, that's proof of causation. When you talk about proof, you can find it. You know, it's like if you went out and there's a guy lying on the ground and there were 11 bullet holes in him, you'd say, well, you know, the bullet hole is associated with this man's demise, but that doesn't prove that the bullet killed him. Somebody may have poisoned him with arsenic and he fell down and they shot him. I don't know. So anyway, but when you take a nice healthy animal and put in a cage and make it sick with a specific kind of lesion of Alzheimer's, you prove causation. The mercury bullet was lying all around all of the wreckage of an Alzheimer brain. And that's what Boyd was talking on in 1989 when he spoke at the IOMT in Chicago. But he said, I wasn't able to cause it with mercury. And Murray Vimy, the sheep dentist, he said, what kind of mercury did you use? And he said, well, I used mercury chloride. And he says, there's a charge on that. And Boyd says, well, I know that, but I don't have an animal hospital. So I'm a chemist. I've got a laboratory with little cages. And he said, well, how many animals you need? And so they cooked up the Pendergrass study, which is one of Boyd's graduate students, and Murray's on there too. And they use the University of Calgary Medical School, and that the medical school has more animals than it does medical students because they, they're learning the research, the healthcare on, you know, living beings. And, uh, but anyway, that the The mercury in the rats caused Alzheimer's disease. So, yeah.
Well, I also want to talk about prevention and cure. I don't want to say cure, but detoxification. Because, and I know, yeah, you and Boyd Haley have been really working and spreading awareness about helping to detoxify. So you can tell us a little bit about that history.
I stopped using mercury in 1980 when a patient of mine detoxed herself. She figured out that she couldn't chew on her fillings. So she quit chewing gum and she figured out that hot foods made mercury leak off, and so she quit using hot food and only ate soft foods so she didn't have to chew them. And she didn't know it was her fillings, but those were her steps. She'd got MS in '57 and this was '79, so quite a while later. And she asked me to make her fillings white, and I said, sure, have a seat. And I always, like I said, use a rubber dam, put a hose on her nose so you don't inhale the fumes, and took the fillings out, put in white fillings. And she was very grateful. The next recall, she'd been a patient of mine for a long time, still a patient of mine, retired, but for making her MS symptoms subside. And I said, you know, you didn't tell me you had MS. She said, I was afraid you wouldn't take them out. I said, no, I work on command. Tell me what you want. But, uh, anyway, uh, she— last I talked to her, she was in '95, I think, and, uh, her favorite pastime was square dancing. So she recovered.
And, but yeah, and so many doctors are not informing the patients about, you know, if you have MS, think, you know, maybe heavy metal toxicity. It's not really something that's well known.
If you go to the MS Society, it says it's not from your amalgams. Well, that's interesting. It's a disease of unknown etiology, and they know it's not from something.
How did they come up with that conclusion?
They got money from the, uh, the people that make it. So the lobbyists gave them money, and they came up with the conclusion that's the opposite of true, which is exactly why no nonprofit set to cure a disease in this country has ever found a cure for any of the diseases. The American Heart Association or Cancer Society MS, Parkinson's, you name it, they ain't got it. No, but they've been able to raise a lot of money. So, am I being cynical? No, I'm being truthful. If you got a nonprofit that found a cure for something, you know, but all the cures that I know of were found by individuals, um, people like, you know, C.C. Basque for discovering malaria, the, the little thing that the life cycle of the malaria bug and those kind of people, not from the government agency or even pharma. Pharma didn't come up with solutions, they come up with drugs to cover up symptoms.
Exactly.
Lloyd Haley came up with a solution and, you know, mercury is a terrible poison. People do not understand how awful mercury is because, you know, it'll fool you. It looks benign, you know, liquid. Oh, I played with mercury when I was a kid. Some of that mercury is still banging around inside your brain, you know, and the more you're exposed to it, the more it gets banged around. How would you like to have it all stop today?
Amazing.
Before you knew it, that he basically invented a molecule that has long floppy arms that will configure itself to grab any of the heavy metals. And it's designed so it doesn't like essential minerals because heavy metals are big. So its arms are way apart. Essential minerals are little teeny things. And so it doesn't like those. It's kind of like trying, you know, Lou Alcindor trying to hold a baseball, you know, well, he could actually, but anyway.
That's pretty amazing. And I know he actually, this substance that he came up with is a compound of two different natural products, if I remember correctly, right?
I call it the ball and chain, but there's a 6-carbon ring, it's called dicarboxylbenzoate, and it's in cherries and any kind of bitter fruit. And it's also FDA-approved as a preservative in food. You know, they can intentionally add it to, you know, stuff to keep it from spoiling. And so that's the body, and I call it the ball and chain. And so it has di— dicarboxyl means it has a double bond oxygen of carbon. And so that's where he attached the nitrogen of the amino acid. So it's real wide arms that are sticking out on either side of the stop sign. And because they got 4 joints in them, the nitrogens, the 2 carbons, and the sulfur, all of those are swivel 360 degrees. So that's like spaghetti arms. So whatever that metal wants, it will provide with no energy input at all. All the metal has to do is have electron shell that says this would fit nice and it'll fit itself to that shell and it becomes inert and permanently bonds it. You will not get it to let go until you get it up to the temperature that that ore is smelted at. Uh, like cinnabar is about 2,000 degrees, so it'll hold on to that until you get to 2,000 degrees. These old chelators are awful because they don't really bond. They basically attract and move, and that's not what you wanted. If you're trying to get rid of hand grenades, you would not want kind of move them around and pull them closer to you. So moving from the blood to the kidney, what could go wrong? Kidney does not like mercury. Yeah.
And I actually tried, I tried oral chelation. I tried IV chelation actually. I felt so sick on it. I felt like the room was spinning. I actually had to stop the IV chelation because I just couldn't tolerate it. And I actually did try Boyd Haley's product. I know it's not intended necessarily or, you know, approved for that, but it's totally safe to take. And I felt good on it.
Well, it was. But like you said, it's made from two natural ingredients. So he sold it as a supplement because the definition of a supplement is one or two natural ingredients and that for which the manufacturer makes no claims of curing or ameliorating an illness. So mercury poisoning is not an illness. Oxidative stress is not an illness. It is a condition. So, you know, it's like sunburn is an oxidative stress to your skin. So anyway, he sold the heck out of it through members of the IMT, ACAM, AAM, physicians and dentists. Wasn't sold over the counter in a health food store, but it was through all your holistic physicians and dentists. And, There were 2.5 million doses sold with no serious adverse events. You can't say that about aspirin. You know, it's safer than water because you can drown in water, but you know, you can't kill somebody with this compound. So it's about as safe as you can get. And so the FDA made him stop selling it, saying he was claiming to cure autism. And wow, it took Boyd Haley 30 years to say that mercury vapor was associated with the disease we call Alzheimer's. So he definitely did not say he was curing autism, but they just make stuff up. And that's, that's what they do, is it— this is called the catch and kill of the FDA, working hand in glove with the pharmaceutical industry to make sure that remedies that are effective never get to the market, or if they do, they become extremely expensive. And this compound used to sell for $60 for 9 grams, and it's $800 for 10 grams now. So, we've been able to put zeros on the price because we had to spend $50 million getting to here. You know, hey, it's not magic money. And, you know, people say, well, I don't like that. Well, you should say something about it. Because it's not us doing that. It's our Food and Drug Administration. The people say mercury fillings are perfectly safe. Fish are fine. You can only get 3 ounces a year or something like that. Why won't you say it's inedible? I mean, tuna fish, tuna fish is inedible, but oh no, you can eat this little teeny mouthful here once every month.
What? You could have a little poison.
Because it maxes your mercury intake for a month. And like, you don't have any fillings and you're not gonna have a fish taco.
You know, come on.
They just make stuff up. And what are they serving all the school lunches? Tuna. So, but mercury fillings in the poor, you talk about social justice, that's not social justice. Poor people get mercury fillings. They used to call 'em poor folk fillings. And they're still, still poor folk fillings. Because if you are dependent upon the government for a filling, you're gonna get the mercury kind.
Yeah, it's unfortunate, but that's exactly, and especially in children, you know, that should be a crime.
You know, and, and I had a, the FDA says never to put it in a child. And I had a mother of my trainer and she took her dentist, their child to the dentist and he's, 3 and a half years old or something like that, and they put in 2 mercury fillings. And she said something to my trainer who'd been listening to Dr. Kennedy blab about mercury for 20 years. And so she said, you know, FDA says not. And so she went back and confronted the dentist and dentist says, not the law. It was just a warning.
Oh, wow.
Didn't say I couldn't do it. It was just a warning. They don't make the law.
Just a warning, huh?
Just a warning. Like, ding, ding, ding, ding, train coming. Wow.
Just a warning.
I mean, all that is their mercury poisoning before they get out of their sophomore year because of the carelessness that the dental schools handle mercury. And some of them act like it the rest of their lives.
Yeah, absolutely. So can we find the supplement for mercury chelation?
You can't buy it for mercury chelation, but you can buy it for water treatment.
Okay, well, so we can add it to the water.
No, you don't have to add it to the water, but you can buy the stuff that could be added to the water in its original packaging, BPA-free with no filler, no additives. It's just the actual organic substance that does a variety of things. It bonds with oxidative stress, mercury, arsenic, lead, cadmium, uranium, thorium, probably gadolinium, barium, free iron, and free copper. And when you look at a glass of water, all those things are in that glass of water. How would you like to have a glass of water? Oh, I can take all that stuff out. But that would be a waste because like I said, it's going to cost you $800 for 10 grams. So, the alternative is that some people just put it in their mouth. And I've been putting it in my mouth since, boy, boy, Sanda Moldovan.
That's what I do. Exactly. That's what I do when I take it.
Yeah. I put it in there. And, and, uh, Blanche Grubb says it, uh, it tastes too bitter for her. So, uh, she puts it in applesauce. It just disappears.
You can take it any way you want.
But Boyd is a good friend of mine and sent Betty and I some white powder in a screw cap test tube back in the early part of 2000, 2006, 2007, something like that. And he suggested we take a pinch. And I said, how much is a pinch? And he said, you take this finger and that finger and you put them together and stuff that's in between is a pinch.
So I said, a pinch.
And Betty had Parkinson's for since the '70s. And I took her mercury fillings out and she would still talk to you like this, head shaking all the time. And Boyd knew that. And we didn't take very much. We just over a period of about 6 months, you know, she said, you know, my head doesn't shake anymore. She passed away 10 years later, and her head never did shake again. It just, it was Parkinson's caused by mercury. And I took the mercury out, but something else needed to take it out of her body. And that's what the molecule did. It's just, it's phenomenal. When he sent it out for safety testing, you couldn't kill a rat with mercury. He wanted to find out how much of the OSR would kill a rat. And they came back and said, you can't kill a rat with OSR. Okay. Let's see when you give a rat mercury how well the OSR protects it. And so if they gave him the OSR ahead of time, you couldn't kill a rat with mercury. And so he developed a new system of killing rats where you give them the lethal dose of mercury and then wait 25 minutes and give them the antidote. And when they got up to 14 times lethal dose, waited 25 minutes, and then gave them the antidote, 2 out of the 6 rats died. So, wow, nothing in the world has ever done that, ever, ever, ever. Yeah, oh, I use this NAD, or I use this ALA, or I use this, and I use that. Show me one rat that's still alive that got a lethal dose of mercury when you gave it everything you wanted to give it, because that rat is going to die. But there is nothing in the world that will prevent death of a rat. You know what the FDA said about that? It's weak evidence. I think—
evidence— that is weak evidence.
I would love to see what they think is strong evidence. You can't tell her anything.
Share with us the link for this, uh, where people can buy the water treatment, so-called.
It's Purify Water LLC. Purify Water LLC. And basically, uh, They have two things for sale, either 10 grams or 100 grams. And that's the actual binder for the mercury, arsenic, lead, cadmium, uranium, thorium, gadolinium, free iron, free copper. Yeah. It's an amazing compound that has so many uses. I mean, yes, it'll clean water, but it's not good in cleaning water. It's better at cleaning people.
That's right, and we definitely need it. The environment is so—
everybody needs it, you know, everybody needs it. And then they cringe and say, oh, it's an orphan drug, which means it is supposed to cure a disease that less than 200,000 people have. Well, getting any of those 200,000 people together and, and doing a study, it costs many, many millions of dollars. We just spent $4 million to test 20 people in Colombia. I mean, you know, what's that work out? You know, that, you know, there's no way we can afford to do this because everybody that knows anything about investing says don't invest in that because the FDA is intentionally blocking it. They have changed the rules 26 times to keep that product from being approved. We've done everything they've ever asked. We've never had a serious adverse event. Every thing that they wanted. The reproductive toxicity where you prove that these animals ate a bunch of OSR and what came out was another animal looked just like them. So there is no reproductive toxicity. Different, two different species. We can make the product, have made the product for 20 years exactly like the same, exactly like the same, exactly like that. And you can buy crap that'll make you sick that has Boyd Haley's name on it, which is not made by Boyd Haley and he doesn't approve of it. This is coming from China. Yeah, that'll make you sick, but that's not OSR. That's something that has a label that says OSR and it's not. And what else? We've done animal studies. They said, well, you know, your Clark study is acute exposure because the animals are only exposed for 25 minutes before you save them. We want to know what happens if you expose them for weeks and then see if you can save them. And so the FDA and the Scientists cooked up another several million dollars worth of research. First found out how much would kill a rat, and then how much, how much wouldn't kill a rat, and then poisoned them for a period of time, and then gave Milosar and saved them all. Well, it took a long time to recover, just about as long as it took them to get sick. Anyway, so now do a human study. Well, you know, the whole idea of the animal study was you can't intentionally expose humans to mercury. And yet the dentist did in Cassipia, what, 2021? And I told them not to and they didn't listen to me. But the unethical experiments in Portugal, Boyd offered to give the Orphans of Cassipia, OSR, and the powers that be said, is it an approved drug? No. Well, they'll continue to be mercury poisoned.
Wow.
They don't care.
That's right. So this has been really amazing information. You know, everything that you do to just better, you know, our profession and, you know, find, you know, just bring public awareness to what's possible today.
I think we're good people. My dad, granddad, and dad were dentists. We're not mean, evil, nasty people, but we end up doing mean, evil, nasty things because the people that are Standing in the front of the class wearing a white coat are lying. And do they know they're lying? Or are they really, really stupid? Either way, it's a bad deal because they end up with dentists that are misinformed and they misinform their patient. And if you saw this week that the National Toxicological Program concluded that fluoride is a neurotoxicant.
Yes.
You'd think I was an idiot if I said have your children brushed with lead. You'd say, well, lead's a neurotoxicant. Well, fluoride is parallel or it may be worse. So why are we brushing with it?
Yeah, absolutely. That's a win. So I feel like these small wins, we still have a lot of work to do.
But look how long it took. It took, they started putting fluoride in the water in 1945 because they had tons of it. And I mean that word literally to get rid of. So '45 till now is just about 80 years, isn't it? And so it was clear in, in '45 that it wasn't a good idea because it was commonly on the shelves as rat poison. So I tell people, I said, you know, you can't take something off the shelf that says rat poison, put a new label on it, and put over here and says good for kitties.
That's just, that's Doesn't work. Oh my God.
Is that called magical thinking?
Possible.
How do they manage to, like San Diego, we have a citizen's initiative against fluoride in the water supply passed overwhelmingly by the citizens of San Diego in 1954. You know, the land of the organic food. We have all the organic growers here in San Diego because it's a health-oriented community. And we passed an ordinance against it, said he can't levy a tax or charges a fee, and they're doing both. So they just say, oh, well, you know, so sue us. I did. And the court says, no, they're mandated by the state. Well, show me the mandate. Well, they said they were mandated. Wow. They wanted to do it. Like Los Angeles. Los Angeles passed the law saying Florida The citizens passed a referendum to reverse that. They should have passed initiative because the referendum just means they passed it again. So, oh my God, they don't believe in democracy. Democracy is a pesky thing where the citizens keep coming up with their own opinion about what's going to happen.
So I think we really, you know, and I think also with the onset of COVID you know, for me at least, I became more conscious about all the illegal things that are being done and said by the state, by the city that are not even true just because it's a mandate. So I think, you know, as citizens, we have to become more aware about the legislature and what is said that's true, what we can do, the power we have. And at least, you know, you can't be the only one fighting this, Dr. Kennedy. I think we all have to get here behind you. In order to have a healthier world. Yeah.
It's been lonely at times, but that's also been rewarding. The, so, but you know, it's, as when I filmed a documentary in China, I thanked my interpreter, an MD PhD lady, and did a wonderful job squiring us around. And I thanked her profusely. And she says, But it's my duty. And she was serious. And so that's what I say. It's my duty.
Yeah, it's amazing. So before we close, I just want to direct people to your YouTube channel. I wanted to play the video. I don't think we have enough time, but the smoking tooth video, it's such an amazing video. A lot of still dentists that are listening to this haven't seen this video. And can you tell us just a couple of minutes, how did you make this video? Basically, you're taking a tooth that's been extracted with an old mercury filling in it.
And a fluorescent light at it with no powder. Is it, you know, fluorescent lights are white, but that's— there is a kind that has no powder in it, so it's a clear tube. So that is the frequency of mercury because it's energized mercury and 257.3 angstroms. And if you're in a completely darkened room, that, that light hits a reflective screen and you can see the mercury smoke in between. So here's the light and then there's something in the middle. Well, what is that? That's the mercury vapor. So it's the same principle as atomic spec, but it's something you can do on a tabletop. And that's, we did it at the library at Oxford. Roger Eichmann is a dentist and his hobby was gold mining. And the gold miner wants to know, you know, this is pay dirt or is this feldspar? And so you take a little bit, put it in a pan and heat it up. If mercury comes off, it's gold. If it doesn't, it's feldspar. So he did that in several meetings of the IMT. And I remember the first time he did that and made the mercury come off, everybody took two steps back.
Yeah. So we're going to post a link to your video down in the show notes underneath this episode. Everyone should watch that because people think, oh, you know, if it's not rubbed against, it's not going to release. But you're even like Hot coffee, you know, it comes off in particles.
So you can actually see the particles going through our sheep just chewing on them. So, you know, it's silly to put a— if I invented an arsenic filling, would it, you know, I mean, line up the Arsenic Society behind arsenic fillings are really wonderful?
No. Yeah.
It's poison. Don't put poison fillings in. Just, you know, it gets easier. You just say no to all the poisons and then you get some squealing from industry. But basically, no, I don't use poisonous materials in my practice. No, I don't use them.
Absolutely. Yeah. With that, again, I want to thank you so much for being with us on the Holistic Dentistry Show and sharing your wisdom. Any last minute words of wisdom that you want to say before you leave? Yes.
You know what holistic is?
No.
People that drill holes and stuff.
Okay, that's a good one. All right, well, thank you very much, and everyone, we'll see you next time for another episode on the Holistic Dentistry Show. Thank you so much for joining me this week.
