A first-person testimonial from a perimenopausal woman describing her experience with Sayana Medical. She emphasizes that the program provided education and support for sustained lifestyle changes rather than prescribing quick fixes (drugs or surgery). She reports strong advocacy for the team because they tailor learning and follow-up instead of a one-off prescription, and credits this approach with meaningful life changes.

There are two things I have found leap again, which is very challenging for a perimenopausal woman. But really, it's just been educational. I have made a lot of lifestyle changes because it has been a learning process. And so I always have been a big advocate of this group since I've been working with them because I feel like they really understand what I want and need from a learning perspective. It's not just, here's a script, go away and call me in six months. So that is like one of the biggest differences and one of the big reasons I advocate. They're really working to help me change my life and not just reacting to something that's frustrating to me. It would be very easy to write me a weight loss drug or help tell me to get surgery or tell me to do something that like, fast and easy fix. What they have invested in is a lifestyle change for me. And so I feel like that's a huge difference than I would see if I went to my advocating for them and telling all my friends about them, because I really feel so strongly that it's just so different from what we normally see in traditional medicine.
