Hi, My name is Dr. Shabana Parvez. I'm a medical doctor and owner of Arlington Integrative Medical Center. Thank you for taking my Body Temperament Type test. You have taken the first step towards balancing your body type. So are you curious to know your body temperament type and what you can do to use that information to your advantage? Let's start. You are the phlegmatic type, in other words, the cold and wet type. What might sound familiar to you is you tend to feel cold all the time, a bit sluggish, sometimes lazy even. The phlegmatic temperament is the coldest, calmest, energy conserving, lazy, kind, reasonable and laid back type. You're the chill type, pun intended. Your metabolism tends to be on the slow side and if you have health problems, they tend to be phlegm related health problems. Things that are caused by excess of cold and moisture in the body, for example brain fog, trouble focusing, water retention, frequent colds and flu, poor circulation, hypothyroidism, weight gain, feeling swollen, having chronic respiratory system problems, congestion, allergies and most importantly, an excess of cold and wetness in the body can cause you to feel overall out of balance and not at the best of health. But rest assured, famous ancient doctors like Hippocrates and Avicenna and many others for hundreds of years have outlined entire books about how to holistically balance the phlegmatic body type. For did you know that for a good part of history dis ease was treated by balancing your innate body type? So are you ready to work with your body type instead of against it? Are you ready to balance your body type to feel overall healthier, better in your skin? Are you ready to discover how to treat your body with an approach that's unique to you? Instead of a one size fits all approach that simply doesn't work, try these three simple strategies. Try Number one Try to eat a hot and dry diet. Foods like chicken, lobster, shrimp and curries are hot and dry. Number two, if possible, live in a climate that's hot and dry like the desert areas. Number three Explore hot and dry herbs and spices. Lavender, rosemary, cloves and cinnamon are some examples. All of these things that I've mentioned can help you warm up a little bit more and drain out some of the excess wetness in your body. As a result, your body will start to feel more balanced and in harmony. Do you want to discover more and truly take advantage of this information? I have taken my 26 years of experience as a doctor and holistic health professional working with hundreds of patients as well as my own practical experience with the four body temperaments. Together I've combined them and created a special course for you to balance your temperament and harmonize your body so that you can feel more energy, better sleep, better, better focus and overall a feeling of being more balanced and more comfortable in your skin and overall healthier.
