If your business isn't working the way you expected, it's not because you're bad at business. It's because no one ever taught you how it actually works. We were trained to master algorithms in medicine, but when it comes to revenue teams and growth, we were never taught anything. We weren't even told to figure it out. We just assumed somehow we'd know. Like it would magically make sense. But it doesn't. The era of the seven Figure Physician CEO is here. And it's not about working harder. It's about learning entrepreneurship as a system. The same way you mastered ACLs and pals, you can master the algorithm of building a profitable scalable business. That's why I recorded the Seven Figure Physician CEO audiobook. Whether you're building a medical or non medical business, and whether your goal is your first million, first 2 million, first 5 million, first 10 million. This is where the journey starts. There is no Calvary coming to save us. We are the Calvary. So. So go get your audiobook now. Www.entremd.com 7Figurebook. And let's rewrite the narrative for physicians starting today.
Well, hello, hello my friends. Welcome to the five minute tweak where I share one success habit. You can start practicing today that will change your life as a physician entrepreneur. Now, today we are gonna be talking about how to nip the mind drama in the bud. Okay? Now, I am sure this has happened to you because, you know, you're an entrepreneur. This is kind of the way things go. You have something to do and you dread it. Like you're so stressed out about it, you're frustrated about something that you know you're going to have to do anyway, right? So I'm a podcaster. I can go like, man, you know, Tuesday's my podcast recording day. I'm going to have to record all day, right? I have all these things to do. Or maybe you're about to launch something. Could be a private practice, or you're about to launch a program and you're like, I have a 10 day period to launch. Is 10 days is so stressful. I have to do all these emails, I have to do these Facebook lives, I have to go talk to strangers, I have to go network, you know, and you're spending days stressed out about something you're going to need to do. Okay, so you have a lot of mind trauma, a lot of stress. Well, this used to be me and it happened with my podcast, much as I love doing it. But sometimes I'm like, man, I have to Record like all day. I have to record or I have to launch something. I'm like, you know, it's going to take 10 days and all of this stuff. And one day I sat down and thought about it and I was like, you know what, to be honest, it's not really the thing that's creating the problem. It's not the thing that's creating the mind. Drama is what I think about. The thing is the stories I've believed about. The thing is the story, the narrative I tell myself about the thing. So let's think about this. Okay? Even if I had a day where I was going to record four podcast episodes, my episodes run anywhere from 15 to 25 minutes. Okay, that's for the Monday episodes. The Thursday episodes, like when you're listening to right now is even shorter. It's five minutes. Right. So how long does it really take to record four episodes? Like the actual recording? I mean, it would take two hours. Okay. And let's say, oh, you know, I wanted to do this outline and took me another two hours. It's four hours or workdays, eight hours. It doesn't take all day, it takes four hours. And if I was able to do that, I have half of my recording for a whole month done in that one three to four hour period. So is it really as stressful as I'm making it out to? Same. No, no. Think about a launch. You're like, man, I have to launch over 10 days. Okay, well, let's break that down. Let's say you have to do emails, you have to do social media, you're going to do Facebook lives. So let's make this assumption, okay? You take one day, four hours, you write out all your emails. Another four hours, you write all your social media and you plan to do three Facebook lives, which even if you're doing them for 30 minutes, that's an hour and a half each. If you do this, you're talking about nine and a half hours. 10 hours of work. 10 hours of work. It's not 10 days is 10 hours of work. Right. But we tell ourselves these stories. Like, oh my gosh, it's taking all day. Like you can literally do all these things before your launch and just go in once or twice a day and see how everybody's doing, answer questions, all that stuff. And, and that's your lot. Like it can be total peace and quiet. And I'm telling you, I've done it the mind drama way and I've done it the non mind drama way. Non mind drama is so much better. Tell yourself the actual truth about what is going on and then batch it and get it done right. And get it done. All right, so I want you to take a moment, I want you to think, what is the thing right now in your business that is stressing out the most? And I want you to sit down and separate the fact from the story you've told yourself about it. Separate them and then decide, okay, I'm not doing this drama anymore. I can decide to do this or not. I can look at the benefits of it, and I'm just going to do it and enjoy it. I enjoy recording these podcasts for you and I 100% enjoy launching. I mean, isn't that a strange thing? So separate the fact from the drama, the fact from the story. So you can enjoy being an entrepreneur. Now, does it make it mean it'll be completely easy? Not necessarily. But it'll be so much easier, right, if you can control the narrative right? So well, there you have it. So remember, you are part of the entrepreneur movement, the movement that disrupts the healthcare space. So don't keep this to yourself. I want you to share it. And. And I will see you, my friend, on the next episode of the On Trend podcast without the mind drama.
