Before we think about placing custom porcelain veneers, we ensure your mouth is pristine. #veneers

Dr. Victoria Rose Veytsman explains that veneer work starts with a healthy mouth and detailed smile design using molds, models, and photos. She addresses health issues first to avoid problems later. Patients report an immediate confidence boost that motivates further personal improvement.

So we really need to address those health issues first, because if you don't, that can lead to some of those problems that you're talking about. I'm glad you asked about veneers. This is, I would say, 90% of my practice is veneers, cosmetic dentistry, full mouth reconstructions where we work with all types of porcelain. So that all starts with extensive smile design. We never just go in and put veneers in a mouth without having a blueprint. We get molds and models and photos and make sure that our vision is aligned with the patient's vision as far as what they want. Now, who is a good candidate for veneers? Is really the foundation of all beauty. So the first thing we do is ensure that the patient has a healthy mouth. And I see this often where perhaps a patient comes in and has not been that great about coming in to the dentist and the regular checkups and cleanings and then just wants the whole cosmetic makeover. So we really need to address those health issues first, because if you don't, that can lead to some of those problems that you're talking about. And to ensure that veneers are done properly and achieve the aesthetic result that we want, we have to make sure that health is the foundation of that. And the benefits we see, the nice thing about what I do and what you do is that a lot of times you see it immediately. You see that immediate result and— The confidence factor. That's exactly it. That immediate boost in confidence.
You know how people hold back, they hold back. And that just little bit of confidence of an instant result gives them the confidence to start to evolve to the best version of themselves.
