Jim left his job before the pandemic to focus on community work full-time. He serves on boards, advises startups, and helps them raise capital, emphasizing mentorship and growth over titles.
So it was really nice to sort of be able to continue to support and help, because that's what my life, my business career, my career has been all about. Right. Just supporting the community. And so I was fortunate to leave before the pandemic, so. And able to sort of really continue helping, mostly virtually, obviously, but now more and more in person as we as we get back to hopefully, some more normalcy.
Love that. So if someone were to come to you at a cocktail party and go, jim, nice to meet you. What do you do? How do you define that?
You know, it really depends who I'm talking to. Sometimes I'll just say I sit on board, I do advisory work, I do consulting. Or sometimes, depending on that person, I'll say, I help startups raise money and grow.
