A healthy relationship means two people can grow separately and together while supporting each other upward. Problems start when one person grows and the other resists, when you grow in opposite directions, or when someone tries to pull you back to who you used to be.

And what happens is a good relationship is where two solid, well adjusted human beings are able to come together, integrate, come apart, grow, come together, support each other, come apart. And this growth happens in an upward, supportive way. Where things go badly is where one person grows and the other person's like, well, what do you think you're doing? Weren't we good together? Just this way, as we were. Yeah. Yeah. Or the other is, hey, we're both growing, but we're. We're growing separately. So maybe it's just time, you know? When it goes badly is where one grows and the other is trying to drag the other down. Come back to where you were, or weren't you happy? And then. And then two more. Two more things.
