And it was part of my upgrowing my upbringing, where I never felt I belonged. Every time I would go from house, my father's house, to my mother's house, there would be a different person there. And I became very much a loner. It was how I survived, it was how I adapted and coped, and I was comfortable being with myself. But I still felt the need to have a group that accepted me. And this group did. They were very willing to accept me because they saw my blind spots where I didn't. And one of my biggest blind spots is hubris. I absolutely believed I was the smartest guy in every room, and I would show you I was the smartest guy by my behavior, which was reprehensible at best. So, yeah, I had my personal blind spots and faults that other people saw and took advantage of.
