Geek's Quest #shorts

In this short monologue, the speaker—an engineering‑oriented individual who describes himself as a socially awkward "geek" and former hippie commune member—relates his experience arriving at MIT and confronting his inability to make friends. Determined to solve this personal problem, he decides to treat friendship as a skill to be learned and enrolls in the university’s psychology department, taking virtually every class available, including a psychopharmacology course. He also completes an overview course that introduced six distinct models of human interaction, such as relationship theory, humanistic psychology (Carl Rogers), and cognitive‑behavioral therapy. Throughout, he emphasizes his engineer’s focus on concrete results and his systematic approach to mastering social connections.
