I'm not going to miss it because I can't look at anything else on my phone until I do that. So the first one is habit linking. Second one is urge surfing. And then the last part is leverage. So you can anchor in this 21 second habit creation. You can anchor it in by getting some leverage on yourself. So how do you get leverage? Well, the carrot works, the stick works, accountability works. Right? So the carrot is you give yourself a reward. Hey, you know what? If I do this habit for the next seven days, I, I get to buy the book I've been wanting, right? So you give yourself some kind of reward. The stick, a penalty also works. My wife loves to jump in on that. Well, if you don't do the habit for the next seven days, then you have to wash the garbage cans out, you know, the big garbage cans outside. And if she really means business, she'll say if you don't do the habit for seven days, you have to wash the neighbor's garbage cans, like on the side where you touch their stuff, they're coming after you. So anyway, but having some kind of leverage, some kind of penalty, also accountability to someone other than yourself also helps.
