Dr. Wayne Pernell got into legal cannabis in Denver early on, learning seed-to-sale operations and meeting global entrepreneurs. He credits those hands-on years and the networking for becoming the attorney he is today.

Learning so much, so much about, you know, running the business, learning about cannabis from seed to sale, every aspect of it, learning. I got to know so many people who were new in the industry, and I was just starting, so. And there weren't a lot of places in Denver or in the world at that time where they were actually, you know, it was legal cannabis and people could come and gather. So I ended up meeting people from all over the world and entrepreneurs from all different walks of life. So I really was happy to have the experience. Experience in the end. And now I see how incredibly valuable it is to me. Like, I would not be anywhere close to the attorney I am today if that didn't happen to me.
