Why do some companies become billion-dollar successes while others fail? Speaker A argues it's not smarter strategy but timing: catching the right idea at the bottom of a hockey-stick growth curve. Luck and connections matter more than most people admit.
Right. So.
And by the way, if you can get in on the, on the bottom of a hockey stick where something is, is really going to take off, that is one great way. I mean that's how all the current billionaires make.
A billion hard to predict that. Right.
Right. Well and that gets back to my original point of I've been with the companies that succeeded and I've been with the companies that failed and from the inside at least I can't see any difference. Neither was smarter whatever. It's just one happened to have the right idea at the right time and the other one didn't but both of them believed they had the right idea at the right time so you know, to say they.
Both probably did and yeah, and one had different circumstances. Connections count as well. Was there one more like you maybe said four points for success. Was there one more?
I've already forgotten but basically it's own things that generate income which by the way is not is a lesson that I resisted for years and years and years and years and years.
