A short YouTube transcript (dialogue) presenting a joking/potentially unethical prank: selling 'mystery boxes' containing rocks to strangers as a way to make money. Speakers outline step-by-step how to prepare and sell the fake $5 mystery boxes and claim repeat sales could yield significant hourly earnings.
Unethical ways to make money. Part 87. You're gonna go behind your local Gamestop, look for a dumpster and grab any random cardboard box. Then, while you wait for your mom to pick you up, you're gonna grab a random rock on the ground. After that, you'll have her drive you to Walmart. And with a Sharpie, you're gonna write five dollar mystery box on that box.
Of cardboard and.
You'Ll place the rock inside, have your friend record you so it looks like you're making a viral video and go up to strangers and say, do you want to buy this $5 mystery box? The strangers will see your friend recording and think that they're about to win thousands of dollars. So they'll pay you five bucks and you'll open the box only to reveal a rock. Repeat this 20 times and that's 100 bucks an hour.
Okay, this is just a terrible idea. I hope he's saying it as a joke. There's that story of this kid who got approached in Walmart and these people went up to him and acted like they're doing a MrBeast video. Said, hey, fill your cart up. This kid fills up his cart and then the guys run off. And so you're just setting yourself up to be a complete D bag. Don't be this guy. Build a business ethically.
