Here's how I doubled my income in less than six months. One of my mentors told me about this thing called persuasion resistance, which basically means that it's the wall that your prospects put up when you're talking with them. And so when I realized that I could actually break this barrier and help them feel more comfortable during a sales presentation, it allowed me to sell twice as much with no extra work. So here's how I did it. What I started doing is instead of making people feel like I was going to hard sell them something that they didn't want or wasn't aligned with their goals, I truly aligned my agenda, knowing what my customer and my prospects really wanted and what was best for them. And I only sold to people that I knew knew could use the product I was selling. I made sure I understood what their interests were, what their goals were, and made sure I helped them understand the best place to put their money. And so when you can align your goals, your agenda, with your prospect's goals and agenda and make sure that you're actually doing something that serves them best, you're going to be able to sell more with no extra work.
