How Many Verified Accounts Are There

Have you ever seen that blue tick mark next to social media account's profile? What that is? That's called verification mark. It's basically the social platform saying they verified who that person is. It actually is that person. And it's often used for celebrities to make sure that it's the real celebrity and not a fan account. People often wonder how many people are actually verified on social media platforms. Twitter actually has a way for you to do that. They have an account called Twitter Verified where they follow all the verified people on Twitter and they follow about 4 million users. Now if you go into Google and you search how many active users are there on Twitter, they say about 300 million. But non active users, there's much more. So let's assume roughly 400 million users on Twitter, 4 million of which are verified. That's roughly 1% of users. We were to take that data that we have and imagine there's roughly 1% of users on the social platforms that are verified.
