Hey, Dylan, Vaness here. And today we're going to be talking about algorithms. Yeah, algorithms on social media platforms. And I'm going to share the info that social media platforms don't want you to know. Now, if you find the information in this video valuable, go ahead and hit the like button and subscribe. And let's dive in. The three main platforms right now are Instagram, YouTube and TikTok. However, there are other platforms like Snapchat, Twitter, LinkedIn and stuff like that. But right now, YouTube has the highest level of conversion and brands like it the most because it converts the most amount of people into buyers. That being said, every platform has its own style and form of content that it prefers you post on there. YouTube is designed for longer form content. It's content that builds a relationship with the audience over a period of time. If you're on YouTube, you should be posting content that really builds trust and instills confidence that you're someone credible and, and you know what you're talking about. The thing with YouTube is the videos take a lot longer to create. And so some people don't feel like creating that content when they could put out 10 TikTok videos in the same amount of time it takes to make one YouTube video. Crazy thing about YouTube is that you can charge a lot more for an ad, or what we call an integration. A one minute ad from a creator with, let's say 1 to 2 million subscribers could cost over $100,000. That's a lot more than a creator with just 2 million followers could charge on other platforms. The kind of content you post on YouTube should be relatable, transparent and high quality. When you're consistent with YouTube and you keep posting time and time again over a long period, YouTube will eventually promote one of your videos. People who see it will come and check out your other videos and you'll get pumped into the YouTube algorithm. YouTube is also competing with short form content with their shorts. Now shorts is getting really pushed by YouTube as they try to compete with TikTok and Instagram. In fact, I have a friend who over the last six months has gone from just a few thousand subscribers to over a million by posting really high quality shorts. Just put a lot of content out, see what people gravitate to, and then create more of that popular content. With that being said about the different types of content for each platform, what I don't want you to do is try to keep up with the algorithms. All you have to do is post consistent, high quality content over a long period of time and you'll get followers. It's kind of like the people who try to keep up with the stock market. People who try to bet when the market's going to go up and when it goes down end up losing money. But those people who always put money in consistently over a period of at least 15 years, they end up on top. The same goes for social media. Remember and understand these platforms are looking for good content to put in front of their viewers, not viewers to put in front of their content. Don't expect them to reward crappy videos because it takes being unique and pushing the boundaries compared to what everyone else is doing in order to grow an audience. So what is the secret about algorithms as social media platforms don't want you to know? Well, there is no secret. There's no secret that blows you up overnight. All it comes down to is posting high quality content consistently over a period of time. This isn't a get rich quick scheme, this is building a real business. In order to blow up. That's all you have to do. Now there are a few things you could do to help accelerate your growth. For example TikTok sounds. You can use them in your videos to help get more traction or you can model off what the top creators are doing, trending challenges and stuff like that and incorporate those elements into your videos. But end of the day, what is the key is consistency. If you're consistent over a period of time, you will have great results. That being said, hope you enjoyed the video, hope there was value in this. If you did, like and subscribe and I'll see you in the next video.
