You know, as creators, we also can hold a lot of power in what we are willing to charge for these brands to come and work with us. Dylan, what pricing tips do you have for content creators and business owners?
There's a pretty simple way to get 2 or 3x out of a deal. And most new creators don't realize this about licensing. So the idea is, is that you're giving the brand the rights to use that content on their website in ads and other forms of content. So what you can do is you can actually negotiate licensing rights, give them the rights for a period of time. It could be 180 days, it could be in perpetuity, like forever. You'll be able to negotiate more money up front on the deal. And then after the 180 days are up, you could have an option for renewal, which would allow you to get more money over time. Like after 180 days they renew. 180 days later they renew and you're actually squeezing a lot more money out of an individual deal. And as a brand, we can actually target audiences. So if we do like a magic spoon ad with MrBeast, we can then hit Mr. Beast's audience with that same ad. And so it's really effective.
