A short YouTube video (uploaded May 28, 2023 by Dylan Vanas) briefly discusses a newly signed international treaty—reportedly signed by over 200 countries after 20 years of negotiation—aimed at protecting marine life in international waters by reducing fishing. The speaker frames the treaty as a recent UN development and asks viewers whether it was a good decision.

Hundreds of countries have come together to try to make the world a better place. Recently, there was a Treaty that over 200 countries signed to protect marine life on international waters. It's been 20 years in the making, and finally they just signed this a few weeks ago in a UN meeting. The treaty is supposed to reduce fishing in international waters, which is supposed to sustain marine biology. What do you guys think? Is this a good treaty that was passed?
