Dylan Vanas argues that brands should partner with influencers rather than try to hire them outright. When you can't afford top creators, offer equity instead. Brands that grow tend to have influencers aligned with them, and equity can persuade even creators who don't want to start companies.
The biggest opportunity in 2023 is going to be aligning yourselves and your content. These types of people now, if you can't hire them, you know, you can't afford to pay them, partner with them. You know, equity carries a lot of weight, especially for influencers that don't have an interest in starting a company. You can just give them the company and they can use it. And so it's pretty simple. Okay, well, why would Mr. Beast want 5% of my company? Okay, don't worry about Mr. Beast. You can go tear down. But the thing is, is the brands that are growing right now and the brands that are kind of staying stagnant, a lot of these brands growing have influencers aligned with them.
