Dylan Vanas argues that companies clinging to outdated practices are like the Amish still using horse-drawn carriages. Identify what keeps you stuck in the past, or competitors will leapfrog you with modern methods.
So horse drawn carriages were the main and best form of transportation for much of history. That was up until about 100 years ago when cars became mainstream. It's now the mode of transportation that everyone knows and trusts. But there are some people, like the Amish, for example, that still use horse drawn carriages for the transportation. Kind of like business. It makes me think about companies that try to use old techniques to achieve their goals of making sales, getting clients, and growing their business. So in your brand, think about what methods you're using that might keep you stuck in the past and how other companies are leapfrogging you into the future.
