We often hear about the mega influencers that are raking in the big bucks. But what if I told you that there's small influencers that are making a killing as well? They're doing it using user generated content, also known as ugc. So prepare to be amazed because I'm going to show you how small influencers are making $100,000 or more per year. Let's go ahead and dive in. First off, let's talk about Salha Az. So Saha was a fitness creator that couldn't seem to make it work. And now she's using this strategy, make a full time income. What happened is she was struggling to gain a following doing the whole fitness thing. And then she discovered how she could make content for brand and she realized that it had massive potential. You didn't need a massive following or a crazy big audience. All she had to do was be good at selling and that's what she did. So what Salha did is she began pitching to brands and to do a collaboration with her. Basically she would go make content for them, record videos, and then they could use those videos in their advertising on their website and in all sorts of different content. So one of her big successful action was her pricing structure. The way she priced the videos encouraged companies to buy more content from her. So for one video it's 160 bucks, three videos for 450, five videos for 750. Or the big Kahuna package which was five videos and 10 photos for 850 bucks. So how much do you think she made in the first three months? Keep in mind she only had 5,000 followers. Well, in her first three months she made over $11,220. In fact, in one month alone she made over $6,295. So the potential is huge. Even if you're a small or new creator, I'm going to share with you how you can actually go ahead and tap into this lucrative opportunity. You see, brands are increasingly understanding the value of content. They important it is for them to be putting out content with ordinary people. They need to create trust with their audience. And the thing is ordinary people do that. Influencers just aren't the craze anymore. Craze waves. Influencers just aren't the thing. They seem inauthentic, they're facetuned, Photoshop, all that stuff. And in many cases these brands don't even ask you to post the content on your pages. See, when they're paying you, they're just buying the videos from. That's why it's called user generated content. Instead of them going through the whole marketing department and having to go out and do all these ads, they're really just buying it from you. Now I made another video talking about more in depth on how you can actually go out and find these gigs. You can watch that video, but just to give you the brief heads up, you can use Marketplaces online and you can actually go ahead and post your packages and your services and some examples of your content and then brands will reach out to you and ask you to do their content. Alternatively, you could do what Salha did, which she actually reached out to brands and and pitch them on doing content with her. And this whole idea isn't that hard. In fact, the demand for authentic content like this is growing day over day and it gives you the ability to monetize simply from making content.
Everybody was trying to be like, oh see a one hit one day. But it's like now what to hit one day.
Now you don't need some fancy cameras and light set up because most brands just want you to do a selfie style video anyways. Now the example I told you about isn't rare. In fact, there's hundreds and hundreds of creators out there that are making money by using this strategy. And I'll tell you about a couple more of them in a minute here. But first let me help you understand how to break into this content game. It all starts with the solid portfolio. You've got tailored pitches and then a smart brand outreach. Just keep it simple, don't include too much about prices in your portfolio or don't make it too complex. You should have the content be the star of the show. Remember, less is more. And when you're going out and talking to brands, they need to steer work like right there. So don't go ahead and try to hide the content you're going to make and have all this text like show them the videos and even better, make a sample video with the watermark over it that shows what you can do. Now when you're going out and pricing your content that you're selling, you need to know the structure and you didn't know how to present it. So there's this thing called a media kit. A media kit is basically the portfolio or package that shows how much dollars you have, how much you charge for the content. It's important to be flexible, but do know your work. Just like Salha, you can create a pricing structure suits your skill level and the effort that you're putting into your content. See if you can just sit there and make 10 videos like this in 15 minutes, well, you don't have to charge all that much money to make it make sense for you. And if a brand is coming to you and you've never done anything before and they say, hey, I'm going to give you some free product, if you make content, just say yes, don't be picky and be like, I'm not going to do work for free. Like, you want to build your portfolio up so that you can actually make money from doing this eventually, but you don't always start there. The thing is, is as you grow, you do need to know your two numbers. Number one is, this is my asking price, and number two, this is the lowest I'll go. Whether you're selling content, you're selling your marketing services, you're selling consulting, you need to have that differentiation. Like, this is what I'm asking for. Maybe it's $1,000 for one video, $1,000 an hour, but know that you'll go as low as whatever that is. XYZ, 200 bucks, 300 in order to make the deal happen. Now, like I said, Solha isn't an isol. A ton of people like her that are making a ton of money by selling their content. In fact, there's another creator named Katie Zhu. And Katie actually was going out and she had been in the content creation game for a while. She's pretty well respected. She makes pretty healthy income doing this. And I've been impressed with the content she makes. Another example is lady by the name of Dr. Helen Sanders. She's a health and fitness expert and she's been able to carve out a niche in this industry. So no matter what you are, whether you're fitness, health, beauty, there is a lane for you. Because look, a doctor was able to do it in this professional health care setting and she's got a passion for fitness and making content. So it was basically the perfect fit. So if you want to make six figures or more and you don't have a large following, don't worry because there is hope. Using this strategy, you could actually tap into the opportunity of making and selling your content. Whether you got 5,000 followers or 5 million followers, this is the strategy that you can tap into and start using right away.
